- 3:24Speaker 2: those people selling Brady a birthday this weekend. I hope
- 3:27Speaker 2: everybody has a great birthday. All right, let's go out
- 3:30Speaker 2: with the show. We're gonna talk a little NFL stuff
- 3:33Speaker 2: right now. Nothing major on the free agent front. There's
- 3:36Speaker 2: still a bunch of guys out there who are still available. Obviously,
- 3:41Speaker 2: after the draft, in a couple of weeks, things will
- 3:43Speaker 2: kind of. They'll see what they do in the draft,
- 3:46Speaker 2: and if they don't do anything in the draft, that's
- 3:48Speaker 2: when you'll see more free agents get signed again. It's
- 3:50Speaker 2: like a second wave of free agents, if you will.
- 3:53Speaker 2: But let's go over the top quarterbacks in this year's draft.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Let's talk about all right, So let's see the top
- 4:02Speaker 2: ten rinked quarterbacks and see who they are for this
- 4:07Speaker 2: year's class. I'm sorry, I got a little bit of
- 4:09Speaker 2: a cold right now, like a little not cold, but
- 4:13Speaker 2: more like a sinus thing going on right now. So
- 4:16Speaker 2: that's why my voice sounds all weird today. Let's go
- 4:18Speaker 2: over the top ten. Let's start with number ten and
- 4:21Speaker 2: move down. The number ten quarterback is Max Brosmer from Minnesota.
- 4:28Speaker 2: There's nothing dazzling about the six two hundred and seventy
- 4:32Speaker 2: pound transfer from New Hampshire who won't threaten defenses deep
- 4:35Speaker 2: or make many things happen on his own, particularly when
- 4:38Speaker 2: a play breaks down, but he's savvy and cleaning his
- 4:41Speaker 2: approach with a knack for making good decisions. That skill
- 4:44Speaker 2: set could allow him to hang for a while as
- 4:46Speaker 2: a backup. So a top Now this is the top
- 4:50Speaker 2: ten quarterbacks. This doesn't mean that they're gonna go top
- 4:53Speaker 2: ten because obviously you're not gonna have ten quarterbacks go
- 4:55Speaker 2: in the first round. So yeah, I mean, honestly, this
- 4:59Speaker 2: means he will probably go but somewhere, maybe in third,
- 5:03Speaker 2: fourth round, maybe even the fifth round. So we'll see
- 5:06Speaker 2: number nine. Dylan Gabriel of Oregon, A five eleven to
- 5:10Speaker 2: two hundred pound lefty who started for three different schools.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Gabriel is far from the perfect typical quarterback prospect, but
- 5:20Speaker 2: the Heisman Trophy finalist manages to migate some concerns about
- 5:25Speaker 2: his physical limitations by operating quickly with composure from the pocket.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Attacking over the middle of the field is bound to
- 5:33Speaker 2: be a problem for Gabriel, but he could fit as
- 5:35Speaker 2: a backup for any offense. So another quarterback that's gonna
- 5:39Speaker 2: most likely be a backup. But that's okay. Hey, if
- 5:41Speaker 2: I could get drafted in the NFL as a backup quarterback,
- 5:44Speaker 2: I will be happy with that. Let's see Will Howard
- 5:47Speaker 2: of Ohio State and leading the Buckeyes to the National
- 5:50Speaker 2: championship last season, Howard was tasked with getting the ball
- 5:54Speaker 2: in the hands of Ohio states myriad playmakers while generating
- 5:58Speaker 2: just enough on his own. Still, the Kansas State transfer
- 6:02Speaker 2: repeatedly got the job done. Howard can mostly be described
- 6:06Speaker 2: as passable in many elements of his game, including his
- 6:09Speaker 2: arm strength and field vision, but at six four and
- 6:12Speaker 2: two hundred and forty three pounds with admirable toughness, he
- 6:16Speaker 2: could be a trustworthy second stringer. So again, another QB,
- 6:21Speaker 2: Another second stringer. Number seven Kyle McCord of Syracuse. For
- 6:25Speaker 2: better or worse, every play has the potential to be
- 6:28Speaker 2: an adventure. Has not a good start, but his twelve
- 6:31Speaker 2: interceptions highlighted that he often paid for his willingness to
- 6:35Speaker 2: throw in a tight coverage. Yeah see, yeah, this is
- 6:38Speaker 2: not good. Another backup, let's go. Number six, Quinn Ewers
- 6:43Speaker 2: from Texas, the number one overall recruit, was a three
- 6:47Speaker 2: year starter who twice led the Longhorns to the College
- 6:50Speaker 2: Football Playoff after transferring from Ohio State, but he never
- 6:54Speaker 2: truly became the passer many envisioned. There were flashes of promise,
- 6:59Speaker 2: to be sure, with his rapid release and deaf touch
- 7:02Speaker 2: on display at times, and a promising twenty twenty three
- 7:05Speaker 2: campaign at which he completed sixty nine percent of his passes,
- 7:09Speaker 2: but despite tossing thirty one touchdowns last season, yours didn't
- 7:13Speaker 2: make the lead many envisioned. The six to two and
- 7:17Speaker 2: fourteen pounder still gets stuck on his first read far
- 7:20Speaker 2: too often. As see that is exactly where Justin Fields was.
- 7:26Speaker 2: He will see this year with the Jets where he goes.
- 7:28Speaker 2: But honestly, that is the saving grace of Caleb Williams
- 7:33Speaker 2: with Chicago is he reads the field. He reads the field.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Even when he takes off running, he's still reading and
- 7:41Speaker 2: looking for the pass. Most quarterbacks just put their head
- 7:44Speaker 2: down and they run. He's looking to pass all the
- 7:46Speaker 2: way until he gets to the line of scrimmage. The
- 7:49Speaker 2: only thing is sometimes I think he reads too much
- 7:52Speaker 2: of the field, as when he gets sacked a lot,
- 7:55Speaker 2: I think if he could learn how to get rid
- 7:58Speaker 2: of that ball and look, I mean, look, if you
- 8:01Speaker 2: got four or five reads, if you got time to
- 8:03Speaker 2: do you know, four or five reads, and you see
- 8:05Speaker 2: a guy open, just take the shot. You know, you
- 8:08Speaker 2: got a cannon for an arm, you could throw the ball.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Just throw it. That's what these quarterbacks should do. I mean,
- 8:14Speaker 2: come on, this is twenty twenty five. We should have
- 8:17Speaker 2: I'm fine with having a quarterback that can move and
- 8:20Speaker 2: be mobile, but at the same time, you want a
- 8:22Speaker 2: quarterback quarterback one that actually likes to throw the ball,
- 8:25Speaker 2: which is Kleb. But I'm telling you now that one
- 8:28Speaker 2: thing he does need to work on is he reads
- 8:31Speaker 2: too much of the field. He's got to read faster
- 8:35Speaker 2: and not go back. You've got at least five to
- 8:38Speaker 2: six options, depending on how many receivers and tight ends
- 8:42Speaker 2: you got out of the field at the time, and
- 8:43Speaker 2: a running back. I mean, the way I look at
- 8:47Speaker 2: it when I watch football is as a fan. I'm
- 8:51Speaker 2: watching the field too with them. I'm looking to see
- 8:54Speaker 2: who I see open with the screen that I have.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I mean, obviously on a TV screen you don't have
- 8:59Speaker 2: as much, but you could see who's open or who's
- 9:01Speaker 2: going to get open. And if you're got three or
- 9:05Speaker 2: four wide receivers in there and none of them are open,
- 9:09Speaker 2: then most likely your tight end or your running back
- 9:11Speaker 2: will be open. And that's when you use the checkdown.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I'm tired of hearing fans say, oh well, he knows
- 9:17Speaker 2: the throw far. It doesn't matter how far you throw.
- 9:20Speaker 2: What matters is the completions and how many yards after
- 9:24Speaker 2: the completion. So if you've got a tight end or
- 9:27Speaker 2: running back on the checkdown, boom, hit that guy. He's
- 9:31Speaker 2: going to get at least six to ten yards on
- 9:33Speaker 2: that play. It's simple mass. A guy that open is
- 9:38Speaker 2: going to get a good amount of yards for you.
- 9:41Speaker 2: All these people want to see guys chuck the ball
- 9:44Speaker 2: all the way down the field. No, that's not how
- 9:47Speaker 2: it works. That's how you throw interceptions. I would much
- 9:49Speaker 2: rather unless the guy is open and you know you
- 9:52Speaker 2: can get it to him, I would much rather you
- 9:55Speaker 2: go for six to ten yard passes that go downfield
- 9:59Speaker 2: and score. Then try to take chuck throws that are
- 10:03Speaker 2: going to either get intercepted or incomplete or go out
- 10:07Speaker 2: of bounds. People don't use their heads when it comes
- 10:10Speaker 2: to football. That's why I'm glad that I do. Let's
- 10:13Speaker 2: see number five, Tyler Shog from Louisville six five, two
- 10:19Speaker 2: hundred nineteen pounds. He's comfortable whipping throws or delivering touch drinks.
- 10:24Speaker 2: He could also manipulate coverages more comfortably than many of
- 10:27Speaker 2: his peers. What's the rub then for a day to
- 10:30Speaker 2: prospect with several key first round traits. For one, he
- 10:34Speaker 2: only has one year of consistent production in a nomadic
- 10:38Speaker 2: career that featured him spending three years a piece. I
- 10:41Speaker 2: had Oregon at Texas Tech before he landed at Louisville.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Injuries also factored greatly into his evolution or evaluation sorry,
- 10:50Speaker 2: as he twice suffered a broken collar bone and then
- 10:52Speaker 2: broke his fibula. And for a player who will turn
- 10:56Speaker 2: twenty six as a rookie, there's significant concern about whether
- 10:59Speaker 2: he has room to grow and stick as a as
- 11:01Speaker 2: a starter. Yeah, that's a little late. Usually your college
- 11:04Speaker 2: guys are twenty two, twenty one, twenty five, almost twenty
- 11:08Speaker 2: six is pretty crazy. Number four Jalen Monroe from Alabama.
- 11:13Speaker 2: As both a runner and deep thrower, Milroe stands out
- 11:16Speaker 2: as a class pre eminent big play threat. The six two,
- 11:19Speaker 2: two hundred and seventeen pounder is something to behold when
- 11:22Speaker 2: he's fully in sync. He's equally comfortable on quirking passes
- 11:26Speaker 2: downfield as he is taking off for a long gain
- 11:29Speaker 2: with his legs, but there's still a wild variance in
- 11:33Speaker 2: his play even from stap to staff as a transition
- 11:37Speaker 2: from Nick Saban's staff to Kaylin debarr orchestrated offense revealed
- 11:43Speaker 2: Monroe stells plenty of work to do as a pocket passer.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And that's the thing. I want a pocket passer that
- 11:50Speaker 2: can run what we had. What we had justin Fields here.
- 11:56Speaker 2: He was not a quarterback that would He wasn't a
- 12:00Speaker 2: quarterback first. He was a runner. He was looking to
- 12:06Speaker 2: make plays. And I get it. It's cool, but you
- 12:10Speaker 2: could stick a running back in that play just as
- 12:12Speaker 2: easy as you could a quarterback then. And I think
- 12:14Speaker 2: that's what a lot of people's problem with Justin Fields was. Yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 2: Jalen Milroe, Yeah, he's he could definitely be a I
- 12:28Speaker 2: think he's gonna be a second or third round pick.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I don't think from what I was just reading. Number three,
- 12:34Speaker 2: Jackson Dart of Mississippi as a triggerman for Lane Kiliff's offense.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Dart enjoyed a steady ascension over three years with Mississippi
- 12:43Speaker 2: after transferring from USC While an attack that affords plenty
- 12:47Speaker 2: of easy decisions has left questions about how the six
- 12:50Speaker 2: to two hundred and twenty three pounder will adapt to
- 12:53Speaker 2: much more challenging circumstances. So I'm seeing a very very
- 13:00Speaker 2: common denominator with all these quarterbacks. They don't think any
- 13:05Speaker 2: of these quarterbacks are gonna be starters so far, and
- 13:08Speaker 2: we're already we went from ten to three already. That's seven, well,
- 13:12Speaker 2: that's seven oh eight. It's like eight different quarterbacks already.
- 13:18Speaker 2: That's insane. And they think all of them are going
- 13:21Speaker 2: to be, like, not starters. So let's see if the
- 13:27Speaker 2: top two. I'm not even gonna read this one because
- 13:28Speaker 2: he pretty much isn't going to be a starter either,
- 13:32Speaker 2: all right, So number two is Shedur Sanders from Colorado.
- 13:37Speaker 2: From the start of his career, Sanders has been defined
- 13:40Speaker 2: by his ability to navigate pressure. The son of Hall
- 13:42Speaker 2: of Famer Dion Sanders, as well as the coaches star pupil,
- 13:47Speaker 2: has conquered a singular set of challenges as he delivered
- 13:50Speaker 2: both Jackson State and Colorado to new heights above even
- 13:54Speaker 2: his substantial celebrity. Though in all he has exhibited never
- 14:00Speaker 2: say die mentality that has become both his foremost strength
- 14:05Speaker 2: and non most pressing concern. Sanders toughness and confidence are
- 14:11Speaker 2: unimpeachable after a career marked by insufficient protection. Yet, while
- 14:16Speaker 2: the six two two twelve pounder frequently overcame an unrelenting
- 14:21Speaker 2: onslaught of pass rushers, he often exasperbated the issue by
- 14:26Speaker 2: holding onto the ball too long. There you go, that's
- 14:29Speaker 2: another issue, and that's a big issue that a lot
- 14:31Speaker 2: of quarterbacks that they have with his margin for arrogating
- 14:34Speaker 2: considerably thinner. At the next level, he will have to
- 14:36Speaker 2: fine tune his internal clock, especially given that he might
- 14:39Speaker 2: not be able to replicate the off platform and out
- 14:42Speaker 2: of structure throws he grew accustomed to making for the Buffalos,
- 14:47Speaker 2: But as a precise pocket passer, Sanders could thrive as
- 14:51Speaker 2: an efficient distributor. If he lands on the right offense
- 14:54Speaker 2: with sufficient support, he is definitely going to be a
- 14:57Speaker 2: Day one starter. I believe. Yeah, Sanders will be one,
- 15:00Speaker 2: and number one of course on are is cam Ward
- 15:03Speaker 2: of Miami. Between his attacking mentality and an embrace of
- 15:08Speaker 2: off schedule plays, Ward again and again bets on himself
- 15:11Speaker 2: to defy the odds. Maybe that should come as no
- 15:14Speaker 2: surprise for a player who began his career at the
- 15:17Speaker 2: Football Championship Subdivision level with Incarnate Word before transferring to
- 15:22Speaker 2: Washington State and again to Miami. But even when his
- 15:26Speaker 2: confidence veers into the territory of hubbers, Ward more often
- 15:31Speaker 2: than not finds a way to cash in on his
- 15:33Speaker 2: sizeable gambles. At the next level, his devil may care
- 15:37Speaker 2: approach may have to be dialed back at least a
- 15:41Speaker 2: little bit, with defenses sure to test whether he'll take
- 15:44Speaker 2: the easier wins that he has so far has frequently
- 15:48Speaker 2: passed up. But given his comfort reading the entire field,
- 15:52Speaker 2: making adjustments at the light of scrimmage, and operating from
- 15:54Speaker 2: within the pocket, Ward is far more just improvisional officionato.
- 16:01Speaker 2: So long as he is paired with the coaching staff
- 16:04Speaker 2: prepared to ride out some early turbulence comming from his
- 16:07Speaker 2: playing style, Ward sizes up as an exciting offensive candalyst,
- 16:11Speaker 2: capable of a value evilating any group he joins. So
- 16:15Speaker 2: there you go, cam Ward and Sheer Sanders. They're definitely
- 16:19Speaker 2: gonna be starters on day one. We'll see what happens.
- 16:22Speaker 2: But next week I'm gonna go over running backs and
- 16:25Speaker 2: wide receivers. Then we're gonna look at tight ends and
- 16:28Speaker 2: defense the week after that, and then we're gonna be
- 16:31Speaker 2: close to the draft because the draft is a Thursday
- 16:36Speaker 2: and so we're gonna do a few mock drafts the
- 16:39Speaker 2: week of the draft. I'll be on that Wednesday because
- 16:43Speaker 2: the draft is Thursday, so I want to do it
- 16:45Speaker 2: before the draft so we can talk about the draft.
- 16:47Speaker 2: But all right, so let's move on and talk about
- 16:50Speaker 2: WWE Russell Madia. The card is looking like it's coming together.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I'll tell you what's coming up right in a second.
- 17:00Speaker 2: So as of right now, here's some matches that are
- 17:05Speaker 2: officially and maybe unofficially booked because I haven't heard about
- 17:08Speaker 2: all these. So we know Jay Usso will face Gunther
- 17:11Speaker 2: for the World Heavyweight Championship by Russellmania forty one as
- 17:15Speaker 2: he won the Royal Rubble. We have the Street Profits
- 17:18Speaker 2: versus DIY versus MCMG for the tag titles. We also
- 17:24Speaker 2: have the other tag titles, the War Raiders versus The
- 17:26Speaker 2: New Day. That'll be for the tag titles. Randy Orton
- 17:31Speaker 2: takes on Kevin Owens. We know that Drew mcintyren Davian
- 17:34Speaker 2: Priest has not necessarily been confirmed yet, but they are
- 17:37Speaker 2: aiming that way. We haven't heard much about Naomi and
- 17:40Speaker 2: Jade Cargill, but I think that's gonna happen, We've got
- 17:44Speaker 2: Eosky and Biaca bell Air. I feel that Rio Ripley
- 17:48Speaker 2: after what happened with Biaca bell Air the other day,
- 17:51Speaker 2: I think that is going to definitely be a triple
- 17:53Speaker 2: throat match. They cannot do it. They haven't announced this
- 17:58Speaker 2: one yet, so I don't know where they're getting this from.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Bron Breaker, Finnbaler, Dominic Mysterio versus Penta All four in
- 18:05Speaker 2: a fatal four way for the Intercontinental title. I think
- 18:08Speaker 2: that should be a ladder match, and I think they
- 18:10Speaker 2: should have two more to that, but that's just me.
- 18:14Speaker 2: This one guaranteed. Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton. That's a
- 18:17Speaker 2: definite one for the Woman's title. AJ Styles and Logan Paul.
- 18:22Speaker 2: That's been confirmed now as of Monday. Cmpunk versus Souther
- 18:27Speaker 2: Islands and Roman Reigns. That's gonna main event Night one
- 18:29Speaker 2: of WrestleMania. Bailey and lycre Valkira versus Live Morgan and
- 18:35Speaker 2: rock Hill Rodriguez. That one isn't totally confirmed yet. They
- 18:40Speaker 2: got l A Knight versus Jacob Fontwo. I really thought
- 18:43Speaker 2: we were going the solo route, but I guess maybe not,
- 18:48Speaker 2: So we'll see what happens there, and then of course
- 18:51Speaker 2: the big main event of both Knights is going to
- 18:54Speaker 2: be John Cena and Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship,
- 18:59Speaker 2: So Las Vegas is gonna be lit. I still cannot
- 19:02Speaker 2: believe though, and I know this isn't always necessarily a
- 19:06Speaker 2: big holiday for everybody, but that is Easter Sunday. I'm
- 19:10Speaker 2: very shocked that WrestleMania is the weekend of Easter. I
- 19:15Speaker 2: don't know if Triple H didn't have a catlendar that
- 19:18Speaker 2: day that he made that, or if they just didn't
- 19:20Speaker 2: have any other time available for them to use the
- 19:23Speaker 2: stadium for that whole week, because remember, you have to
- 19:28Speaker 2: have everything there for a full week. You've got to
- 19:32Speaker 2: have time for all of the special stuff that goes
- 19:36Speaker 2: on before it the Hall of Fame SmackDown. You've got
- 19:40Speaker 2: NXT stand and deliver that weekend on that Saturday. Then
- 19:44Speaker 2: you've got WrestleMania Saturday Sunday, and then Raw on Monday.
- 19:48Speaker 2: So you have to be able to book every venue
- 19:52Speaker 2: that you need from all the way from that usually
- 19:59Speaker 2: Wednesday or third Thursday of that week. I think it's
- 20:01Speaker 2: Wednesday actually now all the way through that following Monday,
- 20:05Speaker 2: so you and you need hotels. You need to make
- 20:07Speaker 2: sure that there's enough hotels to book and everything. So
- 20:11Speaker 2: it's not something that you can easily do and just say, well,
- 20:15Speaker 2: we're not gonna do it on this weekend because it's Easter.
- 20:17Speaker 2: We gotta wait and see and get a different weekend.
- 20:20Speaker 2: They're not gonna do that. What they have available for
- 20:22Speaker 2: a whole week is what they need. So I get it.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I mean, at first, I was like, oh, I don't
- 20:29Speaker 2: like it being on Easter weekend, which I still don't
- 20:32Speaker 2: because I like my Easter with you know, my family,
- 20:35Speaker 2: and I'm we're still gonna have it here at our
- 20:38Speaker 2: house like we normally do. But now I gotta stick
- 20:40Speaker 2: out WrestleMania. So it's not too bad, all right, So
- 20:44Speaker 2: let's go and look now at some NBA news. Hold
- 20:51Speaker 2: on one second, let's get the NBA. I want to
- 20:53Speaker 2: go over what the standings look like going into a
- 20:57Speaker 2: couple of weeks left on the season. Alright, so let's
- 21:01Speaker 2: look up. Oh, I got breaking news right here. This
- 21:03Speaker 2: is crazy. This don't happen often. Breaking news by Adam Schefter.
- 21:07Speaker 2: QB Geno Smith is signing a two year, eighty five
- 21:10Speaker 2: point five million dollar extension that includes sixty six point
- 21:14Speaker 2: five million and guaranteed money with the Raiders. Per source,
- 21:18Speaker 2: Smith is now contractually tied to Las Vegas through the
- 21:21Speaker 2: twenty twenty seventh season. So that's amazing. Alright. Uh so
- 21:26Speaker 2: let's look up. Now, let's go to the play in
- 21:28Speaker 2: Tournament and let's see it says the NBA Playoffs. The
- 21:32Speaker 2: play in Tournament is April fifteenth through the eighteenth on
- 21:36Speaker 2: ESPN and TNT, and the playoffs begin April nineteenth. So damn,
- 21:41Speaker 2: that's Easter weekend too. Wow. Crazy? Oh wow, that's that's
- 21:46Speaker 2: not something that you see normally. All right, So let's see.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I'm trying to look this up. I saw it the
- 21:52Speaker 2: other day. Here's the NBA schedule, the full schedule four
- 22:00Speaker 2: tonight if you're watching the NBA. So here's some big
- 22:02Speaker 2: games tonight. We got the Orlando Magic and Washington what
- 22:08Speaker 2: are they? Washington what? I don't even know them anymore,
- 22:11Speaker 2: Washington Wizards. That starts at six pm on NBA League Pass.
- 22:15Speaker 2: You could also see the Bucks of the seventy six ers,
- 22:20Speaker 2: Memphis or to the sorry, the Timberwolves, and Brooklyn, Memphis
- 22:25Speaker 2: and Miami on TNT tonight at six thirty, and then
- 22:29Speaker 2: the other game on TNT the night camp will be
- 22:33Speaker 2: the Golden State Warriors on the Los Angeles Lakers. So cool,
- 22:37Speaker 2: that's gonna be a good one. Stephen Lebron. Alright, so
- 22:42Speaker 2: let's see. Here's the playoff picture as of yesterday through
- 22:46Speaker 2: April second. So right now, the play in tournament would
- 22:54Speaker 2: look like this. In the West, it would be the
- 22:57Speaker 2: Timberwolves and the Sacramento Kings at nine and ten and
- 23:02Speaker 2: the Grizzlies. Who is this? Yikes, not even know who
- 23:13Speaker 2: that team is. I have never seen that symbol before
- 23:15Speaker 2: in my life. Hold on, let me do this easy way.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Let's go just look at the NBA standings, because that
- 23:23Speaker 2: was weird. I don't even know. I'm gonna be shocked
- 23:25Speaker 2: when I see who that is. All right, so let's
- 23:28Speaker 2: start in the West. Okay, So the playing tournament for
- 23:35Speaker 2: the Western Conference. Oh, that's the Sacramento Kings. That's a
- 23:40Speaker 2: weird symbol. Okay, So the Kings and Mavericks have the
- 23:43Speaker 2: nine and ten seed and the Clippers. That's who it was.
- 23:47Speaker 2: The Clippers. They got a new logo. That's a cool logo.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I just didn't know what it was, and the Grizzlies
- 23:52Speaker 2: at seven and eight. Number one is the Thunder, Number
- 23:56Speaker 2: two is the Rockets, Number three is the Lakers, Number
- 23:59Speaker 2: four is the Nugget, number five is the Warriors, and
- 24:01Speaker 2: number six is the Timberwolves. They're all right now guaranteed
- 24:05Speaker 2: a playoff spot. Now, the Timberwolves, the Warriors are all
- 24:12Speaker 2: have the same record as the Clippers and the Grizzlies
- 24:15Speaker 2: forty four wins and thirty two losses. So basically there
- 24:18Speaker 2: could be a lot of shifting in the next couple
- 24:20Speaker 2: of weeks, So we'll see what happens, because there's not
- 24:24Speaker 2: that many games left right now, so these teams really
- 24:28Speaker 2: have to move if they want to do it now.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Some of these teams have already. I don't think any
- 24:37Speaker 2: of them actually clinched a play in spot yet. The
- 24:40Speaker 2: Chicago Bulls that here's the East, so the Cavaliers are
- 24:43Speaker 2: number one, the Celtics are number two, the Knicks are
- 24:46Speaker 2: number three, Pacers are number four, Pistons are number five,
- 24:51Speaker 2: the Milwaukee Bucks are number six, so they're all guaranteed
- 24:53Speaker 2: in a guaranteed playoff spot. Play in tournament right now
- 24:57Speaker 2: would be the Magic and the Hawks at seven and eight,
- 25:00Speaker 2: and the Heat and the Bulls at number nine and
- 25:01Speaker 2: number ten, Bulls and Heat and everybody has already clinched
- 25:05Speaker 2: a spot, so they're in the playing tournament and playoffs
- 25:10Speaker 2: are set. There is shifting that could happen now with teams,
- 25:16Speaker 2: but not a lot because there's a lot of teams
- 25:18Speaker 2: that are like three or four games by the team
- 25:21Speaker 2: in front of them, so a lot of teams are
- 25:23Speaker 2: already going to be locked in. Cavaliers and Celtics are
- 25:27Speaker 2: still really though, fighting for that number one spot because
- 25:31Speaker 2: right now the Celtics are at seventy six games played already,
- 25:38Speaker 2: so is the Cavaliers. So right now there is seven
- 25:45Speaker 2: games left and it's a five Celtics are down back
- 25:49Speaker 2: by five games. It could happen they could squeeze into
- 25:52Speaker 2: that playing spot. So we'll see what happens, all right,
- 25:55Speaker 2: So let's move on now to our entertainment section. I
- 25:59Speaker 2: don't have much today. I wasn't feeling good this week,
- 26:02Speaker 2: so and I was working a lot of hours this
- 26:04Speaker 2: whole week, so I really didn't get a chance to
- 26:06Speaker 2: put together a huge show today. But that's fine. We
- 26:09Speaker 2: still had enough to talk about. NC DOUBLEA tournament is
- 26:12Speaker 2: this weekend the final four. Let's go over that, and
- 26:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna show you how I did on my NC
- 26:17Speaker 2: double A really quick and then we'll go on to entertainment.
- 26:22Speaker 2: But let's see. So obviously this weekend is the final four.
- 26:27Speaker 2: It's huge. Well, let me put in my fantasy. Let's
- 26:32Speaker 2: see where we're at. I mean, it's exciting. I can't
- 26:38Speaker 2: wait till the final four. In fact, if Duke and
- 26:40Speaker 2: Auburn win and go on to the championship game and
- 26:44Speaker 2: I and then Duke wins, I win a five hundred
- 26:48Speaker 2: dollars bet, so not too shabby. We'll see what happens
- 26:52Speaker 2: in the final four. So here we go. Last weekend
- 26:57Speaker 2: was the Sweet sixteen. Let's see how I did. Alright,
- 27:03Speaker 2: So here's the Sweet sixteen. All right, So Auburn at Michigan.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I picked the winner, and then I picked Auburn to
- 27:09Speaker 2: win that one, and they did Old Miss Louston Michigan
- 27:13Speaker 2: State seventy three to seventy. I picked Michigan State to
- 27:17Speaker 2: win that one, and they did. Florida eighty seven and seven,
- 27:22Speaker 2: eighty seven to seventy one over Maryland. I picked Florida
- 27:25Speaker 2: to win. They did Number three Texas Tech won eighty
- 27:29Speaker 2: five to eighty three over Arkansas. I picked Texas Tech
- 27:32Speaker 2: to win that and they did. Let's see, Duke won
- 27:36Speaker 2: one hundred to ninety three over Arizona. I picked Duke
- 27:40Speaker 2: to win. They did. Let's see number two Alabama roll tide.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I picked them to beat BYU in the Sweet sixteen
- 27:49Speaker 2: and they did one thirteen to eighty eight. I picked
- 27:52Speaker 2: Houston to win over Purdue and they did sixty two
- 27:56Speaker 2: to sixty And then of course I picked Tennessee to
- 27:59Speaker 2: beat Kentucky seventy and they did seventy to sixty five.
- 28:03Speaker 2: So that was the Sweet sixteen. Then the Elite eight
- 28:06Speaker 2: was on the weekend. Here's my picks and who won.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I picked Auburn to beat Michigan State and they did
- 28:12Speaker 2: seventy to sixty four. I beat Florida or I picked
- 28:16Speaker 2: Florida to beat Texas Tech and they did eighty four
- 28:19Speaker 2: to seventy nine. I picked Duke to win over Alabama
- 28:24Speaker 2: and they did eighty five to sixty five. And then
- 28:28Speaker 2: I picked Tennessee to beat Houston and they lost big
- 28:31Speaker 2: in that one sixty nine to fifty. So I didn't
- 28:34Speaker 2: do too bad my final four. I've got Auburn and Florida.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I've got Auburn beating Florida in that one, and then
- 28:41Speaker 2: I've got Duke over Houston. I got Duke in that one.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And then of course Monday is the National Championship game,
- 28:50Speaker 2: and I picked Duke to win it so over Auburn.
- 28:52Speaker 2: So we'll see what happens. We'll see if I get
- 28:55Speaker 2: it or not. Hopefully I do. If I do, it's
- 28:57Speaker 2: a five hundred dollars win. Not too bad, but yeah,
- 29:00Speaker 2: that's crazy. So hopefully Duke can win an Auburn and
- 29:03Speaker 2: Duke can get there. I think that would be a
- 29:04Speaker 2: better matchup anyway. I think that at CAA is hoping
- 29:08Speaker 2: for a Duke Auburn matchup just because I think they
- 29:11Speaker 2: match up pretty well together. All right, So let's move
- 29:14Speaker 2: on to movie. Oh right, So here's the top ten
- 29:17Speaker 2: movies last weekend at the box office. Let's see where
- 29:20Speaker 2: they all landed. Number ten was Novacane did a weekend

- 30:46Speaker 2: Number two Snow White came in number two this week.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Did fourteen million of weekend gross seventy million in two weeks.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Not horrible, not the best for a Disney movie, but
- 30:58Speaker 2: not horrible. It's respectable and number one at the box office.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Of course, first week out, Jason Statham always is gonna
- 31:08Speaker 2: knock it out of the park. Weekend gross of sixteen million,
- 31:11Speaker 2: total gross of nineteen million. The Working a Working Man
- 31:14Speaker 2: looks like a really good movie. I would definitely want
- 31:16Speaker 2: to see it. So there you go. There's your top ten.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Definitely go see one of those movies maybe this weekend
- 31:22Speaker 2: and see what's going on. Let's see if there's anything
- 31:25Speaker 2: good coming out this weekend. I know we're getting to
- 31:27Speaker 2: the summer movie soon in the next month or two,
- 31:31Speaker 2: so let's see if there's any really good one. So
- 31:36Speaker 2: let's see movies coming out this week. Let's see if
- 31:41Speaker 2: there's anything good. Minecraft movie comes out that's gonna do good.
- 31:48Speaker 2: That's most likely gonna be your number one movie next week.
- 31:51Speaker 2: That's what I think. The Friend comes out this weekend.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Freaky Tales from Lionsgate. Let's see and that looks like
- 32:03Speaker 2: Vampire Hunter D it's gonna be limited. Yeah, nothing else good, Okay,
- 32:08Speaker 2: so definitely Minecraft movie is gonna be I think number
- 32:11Speaker 2: one at the box office. That's my prediction for next week.
- 32:13Speaker 2: All right, let's look up things to do this weekend
- 32:16Speaker 2: in Chicago Land area. If you're not wanting to go
- 32:19Speaker 2: out and see a movie this weekend. Let's see if
- 32:22Speaker 2: there's anything you can do outdoors. It's gonna rain a
- 32:25Speaker 2: little bit this weekend. It's gonna be in the fifties,
- 32:27Speaker 2: so it's not gonna be great, but it's still better
- 32:30Speaker 2: than the thirties and the twenties. Chicago Cubs have their
- 32:34Speaker 2: home opener tomorrow on Friday, or is it today? Actually?
- 32:39Speaker 2: Let me see, Yeah, might be today. Nope. I didn't
- 32:44Speaker 2: want bookmarks with that. When we go to a new tab,
- 32:47Speaker 2: I want to check that because I don't know if
- 32:49Speaker 2: the Cubs start today or tomorrow. I think it's tomorrow.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Let's see tomorrow. One to twenty against the Padre is
- 32:59Speaker 2: their home all weekend, so it's gonna be okay, in
- 33:03Speaker 2: the fifties. It's supposed to rain a little bit here
- 33:05Speaker 2: and there no sun, so it's gonna be a little cool.
- 33:08Speaker 2: But I mean that's what you get for April baseball.
- 33:12Speaker 2: You know, it could be cold, it could be warm,
- 33:13Speaker 2: could be hot, could be rady, could be snow. You
- 33:17Speaker 2: just never know, all right. So here's the best things
- 33:19Speaker 2: to do in Chicago this weekend. If you don't want
- 33:21Speaker 2: to go to a Cubs game, but Cubs Opening Day
- 33:24Speaker 2: is tomorrow. Cubs welcome fans to Wrigley for the first
- 33:29Speaker 2: home series of twenty twenty five. They take out the
- 33:31Speaker 2: San Diego Padres with three games from Friday, April fourth
- 33:35Speaker 2: through Sunday, April sixth. My daughter Sam that had her
- 33:39Speaker 2: birthday this week, she's going, I think, on to the
- 33:41Speaker 2: game Saturday, followed by two games against the Rangers on
- 33:45Speaker 2: Tuesday and Wednesday. So if the weather's too dreadful for
- 33:48Speaker 2: you to attend a game in person, grab a seat
- 33:51Speaker 2: at the best sports bars in Chicago so you don't
- 33:53Speaker 2: miss out of the action. Wrigleyville is always popping during
- 33:56Speaker 2: home games, so make sure you check that out. Chicago

- 34:27Speaker 2: Off Color, Old Irving, for Bidden Root, Haymarket, Beer Company,
- 34:31Speaker 2: and more. Also enjoy tasty bites so you can do
- 34:37Speaker 2: that this weekend too. Greek Heritage Parade twenty twenty five
- 34:41Speaker 2: is going on Sunday, April sixth, so make sure you
- 34:43Speaker 2: check that out. That's in the West loop. Let's see
- 34:47Speaker 2: Garfield Park Conservatory Spring Flower Show Rooted a Mystery is
- 34:52Speaker 2: going on every week or every day I think, until

- 35:22Speaker 2: and the Art Institute of Chicago on June seventh. Drunk
- 35:26Speaker 2: Space Shakespeare Chicago sounds like a blast and a glass
- 35:30Speaker 2: things to do then the loop. That's in the loop
- 35:33Speaker 2: until December thirty first, so go check out Drunk Shakespeare.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Sounds like fun. And that's pretty much it. Same things
- 35:43Speaker 2: every week. Not much else going on. There's'll be a
- 35:51Speaker 2: lot of stuff coming up in the next few weeks,
- 35:53Speaker 2: so especially with May coming around the corner. We got
- 35:56Speaker 2: Sinco to Mayo. We've got all that stuff coming up.
- 35:59Speaker 2: So definitely of stuff coming up in the next few
- 36:02Speaker 2: weeks and months. I'm gonna have a list soon of
- 36:06Speaker 2: like fests in the area that you go to. We'll
- 36:09Speaker 2: talk about that probably in like April sometime. They released that.
- 36:13Speaker 2: So the Promenade in Bowling Brook does their concerts and
- 36:17Speaker 2: then Romeoville, Illinois does their concerts in the park and stuff.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So we'll talk about some of those things to do
- 36:23Speaker 2: around the Chicagoland area. So make sure you check out
- 36:26Speaker 2: my show. Every week. I am on either Wednesday, Thursday,
