- 0:01Hello folks, this is Princess. You are listening to the
- 0:04Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. Thanks for listening.
- 0:07Don't forget. To share with your friends.
- 0:11That's tough. We're in a very tough spot.
- 0:13I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and
- 0:17virtue because it's an end around between this whole
- 0:21corrupt informational system, media system.
- 0:25We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into
- 0:28existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet
- 0:33we are not going to believe that anything else exists in the
- 0:36spirit realm, even though His word tells us that they do.
- 0:40Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do,
- 0:44and they weren't permitted to go to heaven, so they wander the
- 0:47earth. You know, I've seen the eyes
- 0:50turn black to. Unknown.
- 0:52Tongues being spoken. These giants would love way up
- 0:56in the Highland, the young Braves.
- 0:58The young men would hide up in the trees and wait for one of
- 1:01these 12 footers to come walking down the bath and they would
- 1:04jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the village and the
- 1:08village would feast on the body. Then people start to get
- 1:16weapons, they start to get armor, they start to build
- 1:18cities, they start to fortify their cities.
- 1:20Now God looks down and there's violence everywhere.
- 1:24The battle this. War that we are at is not
- 1:27against each other, it's against these principalities and these
- 1:30rulers and these archons in the high places.
- 1:32It's really worthwhile to read the Bible yourself.
- 1:35Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control because
- 1:40we have to take every thought captive and resist fear.
- 1:46You're going to have a testimony that is a justice case against
- 1:52the Kingdom of darkness. Welcome back everybody to
- 2:23another mini episode. I'm here with Rod from the
- 2:27Millennial Mustard Seed. Here we are again.
- 2:30Here we are again, and we're continuing this series on
- 2:33rethinking eternal security. And this is Part 3.
- 2:38And we're going to continue with kind of where we left off with
- 2:42Matthew 7, as we were talking about recognizing them by their
- 2:49fruit, true and false prophets and true and false believers,
- 2:55that a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
- 2:58A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.
- 3:01And just a little sidebar on that guy's, that one always
- 3:04throws me off, especially when I, I think of the way John puts
- 3:09it in some of his writings where it's like, you know, a good
- 3:13spring is not going to have bitter water.
- 3:16And I go, well, I have some bad fruit from time to time.
- 3:21I, I think there's an all or nothing way to look at this that
- 3:26can really get us tripped up. So put that on the shelf for the
- 3:32time being and ride if if you want to read this through, What
- 3:36we're going to do is reread that section.
- 3:39But we're going to start with verse 15 of Matthew 7, and we're
- 3:43going to go all the way to verse 23 and we're going to take a
- 3:50close look at what many have termed the scariest verses in
- 3:55the Bible. Not everyone who says to me,
- 3:58Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of heaven.
- 4:01And I used to always think, oh man, it's describing people who
- 4:05are doing these wonderful things for God and they're not saved.
- 4:09Oh, that's scary. Am I really saved?
- 4:12You might think to yourself, well I have a different theory
- 4:16on what this is actually saying, and it comes from the context of
- 4:24true and false believers, prophets, disciples, and
- 4:30discernment. Well, I'll start here in verse
- 4:3315, Matthew 7, true and false prophets.
- 4:39Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's
- 4:42clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
- 4:47By their fruit you will recognize them.
- 4:51Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
- 4:55Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree it
- 5:01bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad
- 5:05fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
- 5:08Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and
- 5:11thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruits you will
- 5:15recognize them. And not everyone who says to me,
- 5:20Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only the
- 5:26one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
- 5:32Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy
- 5:37in your name, drive out demons in your name before many
- 5:42miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I
- 5:47never knew you away from me, you evil doers.
- 5:53Yeah, so if we look at this in the context of everything Rod
- 5:57just read, Jesus is warning us about wolves in sheep's
- 6:03clothing, right? The not everyone who says to me
- 6:08Lord Lord section is not about a genuine believer who did amazing
- 6:13miracles for God, but somehow some mysterious way Jesus never
- 6:19knew them. No, that's not what this is
- 6:22about. This is about those who appear
- 6:27to do wonderful works. Maybe they even do somehow.
- 6:31Maybe it's deceitful. I don't know.
- 6:35But what's interesting is they kind of toot their own horn and
- 6:41say look at all the the good things that I've done.
- 6:45They're trying to justify themselves by their works.
- 6:49And a genuine believer, if you're at the gates of heaven
- 6:53and God says, why should I let you in?
- 6:56Every genuine believer knows the answer.
- 6:58Because of Christ. His blood covers my sin, and I
- 7:02am white and clean, and I have the garments to enter the feast
- 7:11and the banquet. But here we see the false sheep,
- 7:18the wolves who are standing on their own works to try to get in
- 7:24and Jesus calls them out. So I think it's a warning for us
- 7:29to watch out for those that appear to be Christian.
- 7:34There's many verses about be not deceived.
- 7:37And you know that the the weeds that are sown among the wheat
- 7:43and God says let them both grow up because if I pull out the
- 7:47weeds before they're at harvest time, I might damage some of the
- 7:51wheat. In fact, Rod, I'm thinking of an
- 7:56episode that I pulled many months ago as I investigated a
- 8:02guest that was not who she claimed to be.
- 8:06One of the people that I talked to who corroborated that this
- 8:12person was not trustworthy, had a very solid relationship with
- 8:17that person for a time and knew them quite well.
- 8:22And he was told by God to not completely expose this person
- 8:30because there were so many people who were following this
- 8:36false person whose faith would be shaken if they were exposed.
- 8:42And so he was instructed to simply trim around the edges,
- 8:47not cut the whole tree down yet, and to expose the doctrines, not
- 8:53the person. So hopefully this gives you guys
- 8:59some food for thought. But Rod, I want to get your
- 9:01comments on this. What do you think about kind of
- 9:05this idea that that this is not about a genuine believer that
- 9:09somehow mysteriously didn't make it in and we should be fearful
- 9:13versus what seems to be the context of a false believer?
- 9:20Well, yeah, I mean in the concordance as we're reading
- 9:24along and Lord, you know, when I pull up G2962 Kohirios Kohirios
- 9:35supremacy supreme and authority controller, Mr. as a respectful
- 9:41titer title. And this is directly the G2962
- 9:46that is in Matthew 7, the the scary verse 21.
- 9:52And so just as an overview on all of this, you know, I think
- 9:55about the verses that I've stored in my heart where the,
- 10:00you know, how I strengthen myself and the Lord as I
- 10:02identify that he is the author and the finisher of my faith.
- 10:06And I look at the fact that a righteous man falleth 7 times.
- 10:10It doesn't mean seven times like a cat has 9 lives.
- 10:13It means 7 is completion. Like God knows every sin that
- 10:17you were going to commit, that you did commit and that you're
- 10:19going to at some point in time because let's just be honest
- 10:23here. You can't say you have no sin
- 10:25and deceive yourself. We don't practice sin.
- 10:28We don't teach sin, we teach righteousness.
- 10:33And you know, just as an overview, Pete, you know, the
- 10:36crux of the issue, in my opinion, is personalized
- 10:40relationship and, and diving into the text with the motive
- 10:44of. I want to know the truth.
- 10:48I want to be set free from other people's ideas and religious
- 10:52systems and titles and, you know, the impending pressure of
- 10:55all of these different groups within Christianity and then,
- 10:59you know, Scientology and and atheism, and they're all trying
- 11:02to push their agendas and perspectives and their own
- 11:06ideologies on anybody who's passing by.
- 11:09But God has a different prescription for us.
- 11:15The one who was complimented, one of the women during a time
- 11:19where Jesus was in a house, there was Mary and Martha. 1 was
- 11:24so busy trying to make amends and and serve and make
- 11:28everything look a particular way.
- 11:31And another one was just enamored, sitting at his feet,
- 11:36learning from the gestures, the compassion, the calloused hands,
- 11:42the wandering worker that had mercy in his heart.
- 11:47I want to be captivated by that. So as I look at this, once
- 11:51saved, always saved, and and I start to wrestle through, I
- 11:54think about how the Lord has ministered to me in this area.
- 11:57And don't get me wrong, it's not a license to send and go do
- 12:00whatever you want. There's days I feel like I'm
- 12:03walking the tightrope. But to be genuine here, we're
- 12:10not slaves any longer. We're friends of the Lord.
- 12:14I'm a friend of the. King, Amen.
- 12:18And that's the kind of relationship I hope that you
- 12:21guys get to cultivate based on challenging the narrative and
- 12:26slowing down to just really get a deeper and better
- 12:30understanding of what does faith look like and how do I get
- 12:33secured. And so there's some can of worms
- 12:35I'm going to open down the road. I'm intentionally holding myself
- 12:39back from going down some of the rabbit trails that as Pete
- 12:42giggles because we're we're smiling at each other right now.
- 12:45We've had these conversations off air pretty thoroughly.
- 12:48We're not walking into this thing blind, but we understand
- 12:51the process that we have went through for over the years to
- 12:55even grapple and chew the meat that we're offering back to you
- 12:59guys now. So we want to do it diligently,
- 13:01respectfully and in bite sized chunks as Pete mentioned in an
- 13:05earlier recording. And so I'll just kind of pass it
- 13:08back to you, Pete, because I mean, that's what my heart is
- 13:11doing with the information. Like I'm learning, I'm being
- 13:13challenged. I'm I'm zooming out and
- 13:15listening and taking the whole council and just being still at
- 13:20times knowing not everything is always as it seems.
- 13:25We we really do have to be malleable, if I can put it that
- 13:28way. If we take a look at one of the
- 13:32verses here in that section, not everyone who says to me, Lord,
- 13:37Lord will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only the one who
- 13:39does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
- 13:43I kind of made the observation of what is the will of my Father
- 13:48in heaven. We obviously know that's not
- 13:51works based salvation. Jesus wouldn't teach that.
- 13:54That's unbiblical. I think we can all agree.
- 13:58So what is that? It dawned on me that just prior
- 14:03to this, again, in the context Jesus is talking about the
- 14:07fruit, and by their fruit you will recognize them.
- 14:12So if fruit doesn't save us, rod, but it's evidence of a good
- 14:17tree, then perhaps the will of my Father in heaven is us to
- 14:23have fruit. Now think about how Paul
- 14:28elaborated in Ephesians that God chose us in him before the
- 14:35foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless.
- 14:40Ephesians chapter one. That's the will of God.
- 14:45So I don't think it's about work, salvation, but rather
- 14:50evidence of what kind of a heart do we have.
- 14:55Hopefully this gives you guys some more things to chew on.
- 14:59As you said, Rod, this is this is meat.
- 15:01This isn't the milk. Here.
- 15:04We're digging into some things that maybe haven't been
- 15:11presented in a thoughtful way. Not that others haven't done it,
- 15:17but maybe in your experience of life you haven't heard it
- 15:21presented this way and and maybe this gives you guys an angle to
- 15:27kind of chew on a little differently and make your own
- 15:30observations of scripture. I can only think of the grace
- 15:36that's required to do this. When you walk in your calling,
- 15:41you're given a measure of grace and it's so important that we're
- 15:48looking, not idolizing and not obsessing over people.
- 15:51We are looking to increase and yield fruit 130 sixty what,
- 15:56whatever that is. And this is a tool.
- 15:59I really do believe if the apostle Paul was alive right
- 16:02now, he would be on a podcast. And I love podcasts because I
- 16:06can pause it, Fast forward scroll through the.
- 16:10Heat But he would not be eloquent of speech, so you guys
- 16:13would have to put up with them. Yeah, yeah, we, you know, maybe
- 16:19you could listen all night long and instead of falling out a
- 16:22window, you could just listen in your bed with Airpods in your
- 16:26ear and just fall asleep on your nights comfy pillow.
- 16:29But I mean, you know, some some humor is obviously necessary.
- 16:31And in totality, what I'm looking at is I'm biased to the
- 16:37podcast and game because what a better way to have a
- 16:41generational blessing, something that gets passed on.
- 16:44I mean, it's not just the right now, but Pete, just imagine in
- 16:4910 years from now, someone's listening to this and it's
- 16:51helping their face. Like I, I was with Michael
- 16:54Basham a couple weeks ago in North Carolina and we're
- 16:57listening to, Oh my gosh, the original future quake from like
- 17:03back in 2005 that like kind of started the fringe Christian
- 17:06airwaves, you know, old content. But there's, you know, LA
- 17:10Marzulli was on back then, right?
- 17:11Derek Gilbert was on back then and, and now here we are in 2025
- 17:17and God is using our voices. And this is meant to be a
- 17:21blessing to encourage you as a listener and to build momentum.
- 17:25And in a lot of ways, just grabbing the torch and saying,
- 17:29you may not have heard it this way.
- 17:31And I'm going to season it with gentleness.
- 17:33And I'm going to be mindful and make sure that the words are
- 17:36salt. So, Pete, I love doing these
- 17:40minis because everything I just said is is wrapped up right
- 17:45here. Our voices, our time and our
- 17:49effort does not go to the wayside.
- 17:52It's an honor to be here with you, man.
- 17:55Appreciate it, Rod. So we'll wrap up there with Part
- 17:593 of Rethinking Eternal Security.
- 18:03And when we come back for Part 4, and it may not be the next
- 18:09mini episode you hear it might be, we'll see.
- 18:12We're going to unpack what I started to talk about on the
- 18:18last episode, which was the difference between once saved,
- 18:21always saved and eternal security, and how those things
- 18:27are different and what is the security that is biblical.
- 18:35So with that, we'll wrap up. God bless and goodbye.
- 18:49A yard. Hey, I came from the sun.
- 18:55The one around straight from the Evans.
- 19:00You really owe me. All of my life I was beating up.
- 19:05All in my life I didn't handle. All in my life I was stuck in on
- 19:08track. All in my life I didn't handle
- 19:11rap. I didn't know why my life was
- 19:13away. I didn't know why my life was
- 19:15away. I didn't know why I couldn't get
- 19:18up. I was so stuck and the muggy was
- 19:20stuck till I fell down and I broke everything till I fell
- 19:23down and they took everything until I was hurting my heart and
- 19:26was strained. Yeah, I was broke and I had all
- 19:29this pain held on home and got harder than this hope.
- 19:32Then I went to the side of the smoke.
- 19:34I had no truth but to look to my guy.
- 19:36He gave me stomach. He gave me earrings and he told
- 19:40me I'm blessed. He told me he just believe in
- 19:42this time. I told him I can't change all of
- 19:44my ways. He said I got you.
- 19:46Just look at this time, I look see him.
- 19:48He showed me his ways. They just told me how I am this
- 19:52time. They just told me I'm not in
- 19:54this world. He told me I'll come from the
- 19:55heavens above. I'm a new creature.
- 19:58I come from the sun, from the one and only straight from the
- 20:01heavens. You really owe me.
- 20:02I came from the sun. I was really with him.
- 20:04And heavenly places. I'm ceiling.
- 20:07Y'all can't even go that way. Y'all don't even know that way.
- 20:11Y'all want to play like Patty cat but this ain't no game.
- 20:14But it's right. You wank this so fake when you
- 20:18walk under me and I know you a snake you think you can beat me
- 20:22but you got no power you want in a way I take out that trouble
- 20:27I'll put on your top and I'll prank on your face.
- 20:30I see you laughing. You think that you got me but
- 20:33you got no way. The evil you say for my life is
- 20:37OK because it's made for my hood.
- 20:39My God is created. He created you so you really is
- 20:42good. I said all these things is I
- 20:45know when he's true and you know you were go like a *** you know
- 20:50winning games you can never win. I know the things that's going
- 20:53to happen to you when you die. You didn't live in your life
- 20:57'cause you know you can never go and say you know it's crazy.
- 21:01His mercy was too from you when you're my son in the plot
- 21:05thought you could take on my God's spot now, but you can die
- 21:08hot. You was really tweaking.
- 21:10I come from the sun, from the one and only straight from the
- 21:13heavens. You really on me?
- 21:15I came from the sun I was really with them.
- 21:17And heavenly places I'm gonna see the living.
- 21:19Y'all can't even go that way. Y'all don't even know die.
- 21:24Y'all want to play late Patty cake, But this ain't no day but
- 21:27a stairway.
