  Speaker 1: Today I'm seated in my office and I have so much to tell you all, but I have to do this in bits and pieces so that y'all don't think I'm nuts.

  Speaker 1: I'm actually still caught up in my own worship, so maybe less bubbly than I've been normally.

  Speaker 1: I'm just kind of caught up in just how amazing Jesus is and how much I love Him, and how gracious you are, lord, to us, and how you blessed us beyond what we even deserve.

  Speaker 1: I just had to stay in that moment of worship as I talked to you about being anointed to serve.

  Speaker 1: So, father, we just thank you.

  Speaker 1: I thank you so much, lord.

  Speaker 1: I'm just so caught up in how amazing you are, even with all the things that's happening in our lives that don't make natural sense.

  Speaker 1: I thank you, lord, that we know what the end game is, and I know we're all going to end up.

  Speaker 1: I just thank you, lord, that as much as we are yearning for you, you are yearning for us, and I pray that this morning someone will feel that sense, that pull, that pull that you have in our very hearts and that will yield to you and let you end your life.

  Speaker 1: So, as we're talking about serving, I'm in Luke.

  Speaker 1: This is Luke 4, verse 18, which is the same or similar or it's a recollection.

  Speaker 1: I'll read it out to Isaiah 61, verses 133.

  Speaker 1: So a lot of us we've been told that we were.

  Speaker 1: Maybe we told you we were anointed, maybe we were appointed by a church.

  Speaker 1: I've not been appointed by a church, but I've been anointed by God, all right.

  Speaker 1: And so a lot of times when people meet me, they talk to me about their purpose and trying to figure out what that is, because that's kind of an area that I roll in.

  Speaker 1: Lord has blessed me and graced me to help people, you know, I give them the keys so that they can make the next step right, and so I think that the identity and purpose and authority in Christ is kind of where he's placed me, that's my mantle I don't know if that's what it's called, but that's mainly where I roll in and so that allows me to be in the room with all kinds of people, very powerful people, you know, ordinary people.

  Speaker 1: I thought myself an ordinary person, but what it does is that it puts me in conversations, and I was coming out of one, I was moderating this panel and they talk.

  Speaker 1: I was talking about how I had to pivot and into my purpose and some of the things that I thought I was gonna be doing in business.

  Speaker 1: And the moment that I handed over my business, like hey, literally it wasn't that it was failing, it's just I wasn't fulfilled and I knew that I don't know that this is what the Lord wants me to do.

  Speaker 1: I was getting a lot of yeses from the world, but in my very spirit I just didn't feel like, eh, I don't think this is what it is.

  Speaker 1: So I gave my business, I gave my ideas, I gave my I literally this was my prayer.

  Speaker 1: I gave you all my gifts and talents.

  Speaker 1: I gave you my finance, I gave you my friends, I gave everything.

  Speaker 1: I gave my daughter, I gave everything.

  Speaker 1: I was like Lord, I'm gonna give it all back to you because I don't wanna be outside of your will for me.

  Speaker 1: I wanna walk in your divine, your perfect will, not just your will.

  Speaker 1: I wanna be in your perfect will Because when I know I'm in your perfect, perfect will and I'm operating in the purpose, the reason you created me right, then all things start working together for my good.

  Speaker 1: And so a lot of times when I meet people, they have a hard time trying to figure out what that purpose is, because they're confused or they're thinking their purpose is something a little bit different.

  Speaker 1: All right, I'm just making sure y'all can hear me.

  Speaker 1: So the verse I wanna read out to you in Luke 4, luke 4, verse 18, I think, again, many of you are familiar with this, but this is one of the ones.

  Speaker 1: Actually, isaiah 61 was the one that he imprinted for me.

  Speaker 1: But I wanna show you something, because for those of y'all who are trying to figure out what being anointed means and what do you do next.

  Speaker 1: So last week I believe it was last week I was talking to you about the difference between being tested and being tempted and showing you that when you're tempted just like there's, just like Jesus showed us, when he was tempted, because he didn't, because he resisted temptation that maybe the devil was tempted him trying to give him the world right.

  Speaker 1: It would have knocked him off his greater assignment.

  Speaker 1: But listen, the devil don't know your assignment, keep it to yourself, okay.

  Speaker 1: So he so then, because Jesus overcame that temptation.

  Speaker 1: The next thing that happened was the ministry of angels was released and he went into ministry.

  Speaker 1: That was his next thing.

  Speaker 1: So some of you are coming out of temptation.

  Speaker 1: Maybe the temptation was to not join a particular group and not pay for a kind of a business counseling.

  Speaker 1: Maybe your temptation was to hold on to your money because the Lord wanted you to invest it in a different way.

  Speaker 1: Maybe the temptation was to not to say yes to the project that you knew in your heart that that's not what the Lord had for you in a pause period and you let that go.

  Speaker 1: And now you're asking what is next.

  Speaker 1: So when we talk about what is next, the word says and this is verse 18 in Luke 4, the spirit of the Lord is upon me and I just wanna rest in that right now.

  Speaker 1: First of all, I thank you, holy Spirit, because you're upon me.

  Speaker 1: This y'all, this is my prayer.

  Speaker 1: The spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me.

  Speaker 1: Here's why to proclaim good news to the poor he has sent me.

  Speaker 1: To proclaim liberty to the captives and the recovering of the sight to the blind.

  Speaker 1: To set at liberty those who are oppressed.
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: To proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.

  Speaker 1: When the Lord gives you a divine assignment, he backs it up with his word.

  Speaker 1: But not only does he back it up with his word, he starts to reveal things to you.

  Speaker 1: He starts to open your eyes so that you can see where you need to be.

  Speaker 1: He starts to send people to you and he gives you the grace.

  Speaker 1: He gives you the grace so that you can carry out the assignment.

  Speaker 1: When you're anointed, it means that you are built to serve and the same way that our purpose is to serve God, when you're anointed your purpose is to serve the men and women he placed around you so they are reconciled back to him.

  Speaker 1: And you do this in business.

  Speaker 1: You do this as a mom, you do this as a contractor, you do this at if you're volunteering at church and all you do in the sweep and the flow.

  Speaker 1: You do this at the.

  Speaker 1: You do this and I'm gonna show you how, because this is where I think a lot of people get being anointed.

  Speaker 1: You're anointed one time and then you get refilled over time.

  Speaker 1: So he had a call of my life for many, many years, but I wasn't ready.

  Speaker 1: So he I had to go through a period where I was being purified, where I had to learn, where I had to be humbled In order for me to be able to, as it says, proclaim good news to the poor.

  Speaker 1: He had to teach me how to speak to people.

  Speaker 1: He had to.

  Speaker 1: I had to learn how to be humble in my circumstances.

  Speaker 1: I didn't grow up broke.

  Speaker 1: So when you talk about if you come from plenty and you come from blessings, and now the Lord is saying I gotta speak to people who are in different circumstances than me, right?

  Speaker 1: So I had to go through experiences where I was humbled, I had to have things taken from me so that I learned how to trust and believe God, and in the way that turned out for me was that he used me, this vessel, through those experiences, so that I can inspire and encourage people who are going through some things.

  Speaker 1: So when I speak about, when I speak about, when I speak to you about anything I live that thing that's being anointed to serve the next one.

  Speaker 1: He talks about binding up the broken hearted.

  Speaker 1: If you think about this and even as, again, you don't have to be anointed doesn't mean that you are, you're the pastor and you're the bishop and you got a title and you're a mega pastor and you're a performant and you get.

  Speaker 1: Listen, that's not.

  Speaker 1: I have none of that, but I'm still anointed.

  Speaker 1: So anointed to bring, to bind up.

  Speaker 1: The broken hearted is now when he uses you.

  Speaker 1: Maybe he's been putting inspiring you, or maybe he put this call in your life or you're the one who's gonna help women and you're the one who's gonna coach women and you're gonna be talking to the broken hearted.

  Speaker 1: Maybe you were broken hearted and what he's showing you is that use your experiences to write that book, to write that play, write that movie, you know, starring that movie, whatever y'all, maybe that was the cup you were served.

  Speaker 1: You were broken hearted but you've overcome broken hearted through loss, through death, through debt, all of those things and he's helped you.

  Speaker 1: The Lord grace you and helped you to get past those things.

  Speaker 1: And so now that you've overcome that, then he's calling on you to serve the people around you.

  Speaker 1: How?

  Speaker 1: By inspiring people, by leading them back to him and it's not right.

  Speaker 1: It's so that we are reconciled back to him for you to testify, through your circumstances, you know, to the broken hearted.

  Speaker 1: Again, you don't have to have a mantle, you don't have to be a super Christian.

  Speaker 1: You don't have to see angels to do any of this.

  Speaker 1: This is the spirit.

  Speaker 1: This is the Holy Spirit walking in you, working through you so that you can serve the people around you.

  Speaker 1: Another one to proclaim liberty to the captives.

  Speaker 1: When you think about liberty is freedom.

  Speaker 1: So giving freedoms is a word, spiritual freedom.

  Speaker 1: You know people who have been going to church for many years and they only know what the pastor told them.

  Speaker 1: They don't know the Lord, they don't have that relationship.

  Speaker 1: So liberty meaning bringing freedom through the word, right, the word is freedom.

  Speaker 1: So bringing freedom.

  Speaker 1: You know, asking God to open your eyes, some of you who have been gifted as seers, as you're asking him to open my eyes, lord, as a seer, so I can understand the mysteries of your word and, on my tongue, to translate it so that people are drawn to you, not to me, not a personality, right.

  Speaker 1: So that's another way.

  Speaker 1: The opening of the prison of those who are found up, who have been tied up in generational things, you know, who are carrying the spirit of fear and doubt and all these things, all of these things I just talked about, all these areas that I covered in Luke 4.18, is a call for you and me.

  Speaker 1: We are anointed to serve him and he will use you to do this thing and that is your purpose.

  Speaker 1: Your purpose is where you are.

  Speaker 1: He's put you in that job and you're saying what is my purpose?

  Speaker 1: Listen, it's the small things.

  Speaker 1: It's.

  Speaker 1: He puts you in that job and there's someone who's brokenhearted and you are anointed right Through his grace, through his direction, not you showing up and just saying, well, let me just pray for you, sister.

  Speaker 1: You're just jumping in people's business, right?

  Speaker 1: You know, you are anointed to pray for that brokenhearted person and you don't even have to tell them what you're doing.

  Speaker 1: That's your purpose, that's part of your purpose.

  Speaker 1: And the more that he trusts you and the more faithful you are to him, then the more everything your territory expands, your business expands, everything expands.

  Speaker 1: Right, tomorrow we're going to have a vision board party and the Lord has been leaning on me, teaching me all last night about how to ask and what to ask for, and not be afraid to ask him for huge things.

  Speaker 1: So I'm going to be leaning into worship today and just you know, father, I just thank you, I just thank you, I thank you and I'm about to ask for some things and I'm going to make the bit, write it down, make it plain.

  Speaker 1: I hope you all join us because we are going to do this thing.

  Speaker 1: But another thing that I ask is, as I'm leading this prayer ministry, that he continues to pour out in me an overflow.

  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit is overflowing through me so that you're catching an overflow and you are blessed.

  Speaker 1: I'm anointed to serve, just like you are.

  Speaker 1: Just like you are, I'm anointed to serve our King, the Lord Jesus Christ, and I do it with pleasure.

  Speaker 1: I get it doesn't mean that it's easy all the time.

  Speaker 1: It's hard y'all.

  Speaker 1: But oh, I couldn't.

  Speaker 1: I couldn't imagine, even if there was no prayer ministry, I'd still be serving, because that's what I've always done.

  Speaker 1: For those who are trying to think, trying to figure out, you know what is my purpose.

  Speaker 1: Don't miss the moments when God said God, he's going to send you people for you to bless.

  Speaker 1: Serve the people around you with your whole heart.

  Speaker 1: Ask him what it is that he wants you to do in every situation.

  Speaker 1: Lord, in my marriage, how can I serve you through this marriage?

  Speaker 1: Lord, in my job, how can I serve you through this job?

  Speaker 1: Lord, in my business, how can I serve you through this business, lord, in my community?

  Speaker 1: How can I serve you through this community?

  Speaker 1: Right, I'm going to an event today.

  Speaker 1: How can I show up for you, lord Jesus?

  Speaker 1: How can I serve you people, father?

  Speaker 1: Will you use me to be a blessing to somebody today, father?

  Speaker 1: Will you use me to be the breakthrough for somebody today?

  Speaker 1: Father, I pray that you bless this family, right?

  Speaker 1: This is this is what it means Anointed.

  Speaker 1: Anointed to serve, anointed to serve.

  Speaker 1: When you go to church, you're going to catch the overflow.

  Speaker 1: Don't go in empty.

  Speaker 1: If you're going in empty means you're not spending enough time with the Holy Spirit by yourself, because he will talk to you, he will show you, he will guide you, he will speak to you.

  Speaker 1: The Lord will speak to you through visions, dreams, confirmation.

  Speaker 1: You know it's going to come from it.

  Speaker 1: It's going to come from amazing.

  Speaker 1: He will because he wants you to have the information.

  Speaker 1: You don't have to go to church.

  Speaker 1: I'm saying we all go to church.

  Speaker 1: Because I am a church goer, I believe in the fellowship.

  Speaker 1: All right, I need that fellowship to be around his people, to be reminded.

  Speaker 1: I am, I am submitted to a leader teaching me, right, not submitted to the man, but I'm submitted to the word.

  Speaker 1: So I go in because I want to hear the word of God and then I step back and I can apply it in my life.

  Speaker 1: Right, that's submit.

  Speaker 1: That's different, right?

  Speaker 1: Some of y'all are submitting yourselves to these performance pastors where you go in and hear things and it makes you feel good and you know, and you can grab a, grab a clip and you're running it through the week.

  Speaker 1: But it was not equipment for you.

  Speaker 1: You're grabbing things that was not meant for you.

  Speaker 1: The Holy Spirit will show you if you speak to him directly and you don't have.

  Speaker 1: You don't need a plan.

  Speaker 1: I see you to speak to the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: You just need to sit back and listen.

  Speaker 1: Some of us just need to go back into just meditating.

  Speaker 1: Right, don't get freaked out when I say meditating.

  Speaker 1: It's what the world took over meditating and created its own version of it.

  Speaker 1: But in the word you can read that saints were meditating as well.

  Speaker 1: So what is it?

  Speaker 1: Meditating just means you set aside time where you just, you're just in pause, you're just, you're just, you know, selling your breathing and you just, you're just listening.

  Speaker 1: You're just quieting, You're listening.

  Speaker 1: Sometimes you can play, like I'm right now.

  Speaker 1: I'm playing something, something called a shofar worship, which is just the shofar being being echoed.

  Speaker 1: It's a, it's an instrument and it's just.

  Speaker 1: It is a worship that allows me to remove distractions and get a deeper worship.

  Speaker 1: Sometimes I need that, just because of the sounds that I pick up around me.

  Speaker 1: So that's what you do.

  Speaker 1: You set some time aside.

  Speaker 1: If you have a closet or a prayer closet maybe it's your car and you, just you just play something and you listen and you wait and you listen for the Lord and he will show you.

  Speaker 1: He will show you through noise that you need to meditate.

  Speaker 1: Spend some time alone with Jesus.

  Speaker 1: He will show up and he will tell you what to do with this walk.

  Speaker 1: Caution, right, don't get caught up.

  Speaker 1: You know, in these pastors who are performing.

  Speaker 1: They are performing, but you don't need that.

  Speaker 1: You're anointed by God to serve.

  Speaker 1: You just need to tap into him and he gets you.

  Speaker 1: Father, we thank you.

  Speaker 1: I love you so much, lord Jesus, there is none like you.

  Speaker 1: I worship only you.

  Speaker 1: I'm a daughter of the king and I thank you, lord, that you've established who I am so that the world cannot condemn me in any way.

  Speaker 1: So I thank you for everyone who's under the sound of my voice, who's seeking out their purpose, trying to figure out what they should be doing for the kingdom when I pray that you'll press into our hearts today that all we need is to serve and focus on you and ask Lord, what do you want me to do in this situation?

  Speaker 1: I thank you that you are showing up so much more through so tangible ways, so that your people can see for themselves.

  Speaker 1: I thank you for the glory of God that sits on top of me, around me, above me, that covers me.

  Speaker 1: I thank you for the glory of God that that spills out, that light through my whole life and I pray that overflow, that pray, that overflow, the glory of God spills out now through every fiber of my being and that it becomes a blessing to someone who needs to hear this message that they are in fact on track and you are anointed to serve God.
