Transcript
- 0:13Speaker 1: Welcome back to I Do Part two.
- 0:15Speaker 2: It's one of your celebrity mentors here on the pod,
- 0:18Speaker 2: Cheryl Burke, and today my producer, Heather wanted me to
- 0:22Speaker 2: pop on the mic because she said she had some
- 0:24Speaker 2: fun news to tell me.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Oh, I hate surprises, Heather. I'm literally look all yours God.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Hi's Cheryl. How's it going good. It's been a while,
- 0:35Speaker 1: I know, I know, since we had our really really
- 0:38Speaker 1: sad Valentine's Day episode.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Was that the last time that we did this together.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I mean I talked to you after that, not.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Me croock since then, but that's the last time the
- 0:47Speaker 1: audience heard from as we were doing a really sad episode.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I think that a lot of people ended up listening
- 0:54Speaker 1: to a lot of single people. Yeah, I know that
- 0:58Speaker 1: we weren't alone. We weren't alone, and we're not alone.
- 1:01Speaker 1: But I wanted to kind of catch up with you
- 1:04Speaker 1: a little bit before we kind of dive into that
- 1:07Speaker 1: you know, little fun surprise that I said I wanted
- 1:09Speaker 1: to talk to you about, but I wanted to kind
- 1:12Speaker 1: of hear from you, and I know our listeners do too,
- 1:15Speaker 1: about like what you've been up to lately. How have
- 1:18Speaker 1: you been feeling Obviously, you've been getting a lot of
- 1:22Speaker 1: press and like you know, been talking to the press
- 1:25Speaker 1: a lot about what's been going on in terms of
- 1:28Speaker 1: online stuff that you've been receiving. But I kind of
- 1:32Speaker 1: wanted to know overall, like how is Cheryl doing?
- 1:36Speaker 2: Did you also hear in the press that they asked
- 1:38Speaker 2: me the big d question about dating? And I was like, no,
- 1:41Speaker 2: we're not there yet.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Well we're going to dive into all of that, of course,
- 1:46Speaker 1: but tell me that right now, on this day, how
- 1:49Speaker 1: is Cheryl doing?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Cheryl is a little like I'm just like, I feel
- 1:53Speaker 2: like I'm being pulled a million different directions. I'm also
- 1:55Speaker 2: working on another which we haven't announced yet, but I'm
- 1:59Speaker 2: working on another show and we're busy pitching that. But
- 2:02Speaker 2: it's a whole di re vibe. Like I told you before,
- 2:05Speaker 2: we press record here. So but it what I've noticed,
- 2:08Speaker 2: the pattern has been me having to grieve whatever or
- 2:12Speaker 2: however that may be my past. It is shoved in
- 2:16Speaker 2: my face and I have to deal with it because
- 2:21Speaker 2: I have no choice, right like, in order for me
- 2:23Speaker 2: to move on. And a lot of what I just
- 2:26Speaker 2: mentioned that I was doing has a lot to do
- 2:28Speaker 2: with that, and I think will help me when it
- 2:30Speaker 2: comes to my personal life as well.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of just wanted to talk to you
- 2:35Speaker 1: about that because obviously it's the summer, right, summertime is
- 2:39Speaker 1: a lock Girls summer, how Girl summer, but also wedding season, right.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I know that you were just a part of your
- 2:48Speaker 1: sister's wedding, and so I kind of wanted to know
- 2:51Speaker 1: what that was like for you, as somebody you've talked
- 2:54Speaker 1: about on this podcast that you've went through and you
- 2:56Speaker 1: had the big wedding yourself, and the big wedding became
- 2:59Speaker 1: an event for you and all of that. Now being
- 3:02Speaker 1: on the other side of things and being a guest
- 3:06Speaker 1: at a wedding and it's your sibling, what was that
- 3:08Speaker 1: experience like for you? Did you have a date or
- 3:11Speaker 1: were you solo? Kind of tell me a little bit
- 3:13Speaker 1: about that. Yeah, I had a few dates.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I'm kidding, that doesn't even sound right couping out of
- 3:18Speaker 2: my mouth, but okay, so a lot of things happened. One,
- 3:21Speaker 2: I was a makeup artist, so I didn't have time
- 3:24Speaker 2: to even do my own makeup, let alone. You know,
- 3:27Speaker 2: I had focus on my sister, like I was her
- 3:29Speaker 2: makeup artist for that weekend, I would say, because it
- 3:32Speaker 2: was rehearsal, dinner and wedding I didn't have I was
- 3:35Speaker 2: so I brought all of Sephora with me, and I
- 3:38Speaker 2: filled my car up to the roof. Literally was like
- 3:41Speaker 2: a mobile beauty department store. That was my actual car
- 3:47Speaker 2: right driving from wherever I lived to the Bay Area
- 3:50Speaker 2: checked in. Took me two days to unpack, literally, just
- 3:54Speaker 2: my OCD was in full effect.
- 3:56Speaker 1: So other than that and me thinking.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I had appendicitis the morning of her wedding, thinking I
- 4:02Speaker 2: had to go straight to the er, it was all smooth.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It great. Be real with me for a second, though,
- 4:06Speaker 1: because I went through both of my sisters getting married.
- 4:11Speaker 1: We've already talked about this that I've never been married
- 4:14Speaker 1: or engaged, and uh, you know one of those was
- 4:17Speaker 1: a little tougher for me than the other. Really. Yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 1: seeing my younger sister get married and ourt a family,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and you know, my other sister been married, and you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: the kind of comments that I got at that wedding,
- 4:31Speaker 1: Oh interesting, when is it going to be your turn?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, Like these kinds of
- 4:37Speaker 1: comments were to you, And so I kind of just
- 4:40Speaker 1: want to know like even though you were totally in
- 4:44Speaker 1: it and being an active supportive member of your sister's
- 4:47Speaker 1: you know, thing like being there for the makeup. Was
- 4:50Speaker 1: there ever any moments, either the drive up or sitting
- 4:54Speaker 1: there were you where it was emotional for you in
- 4:57Speaker 1: a different way?
- 4:59Speaker 2: I think it was it's you are a personal thing
- 5:01Speaker 2: with my sister and I and our We've gone through
- 5:04Speaker 2: a lot with each other, and what was interesting.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So so to answer.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Your question if you're trying to ask about like did
- 5:11Speaker 2: it bring up my ex husband or like that time together, No,
- 5:15Speaker 2: actually not at all. I was really choosing to be present.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I put my phone away. It was so emotional for
- 5:24Speaker 2: the both of us because yes, we do have an
- 5:26Speaker 2: age gap. I didn't get any you know, crazy Filipinos
- 5:30Speaker 2: for my family come up to me and be like,
- 5:32Speaker 2: you know.
- 5:33Speaker 1: How are you feeling? Like none of that happened?
- 5:36Speaker 2: What was I think the emotional side was just my sister,
- 5:42Speaker 2: Like I think of my little sister as my daughter,
- 5:44Speaker 2: you know, And I don't want to talk more about
- 5:48Speaker 2: it than what I am talking about, but like you know,
- 5:50Speaker 2: there's just been very emotional between us. It's been a
- 5:53Speaker 2: rollercoaster and you know, like anybody's relationship. We evolve and
- 5:57Speaker 2: some people do it together and some people don't like
- 6:00Speaker 2: when I tell you we were so close, like we
- 6:01Speaker 2: would go on like extravagant, luxurious vacations when we were
- 6:05Speaker 2: both single in the past, and and then you know,
- 6:08Speaker 2: we all meet our other halves and stuff happened, and
- 6:13Speaker 2: so like, it was just beautiful to be able to
- 6:15Speaker 2: be present. And my sister has said something when I
- 6:18Speaker 2: was doing her and my sister was so emotional, like
- 6:20Speaker 2: literally it was just like and as she should be, right,
- 6:23Speaker 2: it was her day, but it was a different type
- 6:25Speaker 2: of emotion that I never actually felt. And since we
- 6:29Speaker 2: were both single in France together popping around, you know,
- 6:33Speaker 2: so it's like more of a family internal thing than
- 6:35Speaker 2: it was, you know, so sad that I'm not married
- 6:40Speaker 2: still type thing.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I mean, was there any anxiety? I mean, I know
- 6:44Speaker 1: I felt this before, having to go to a wedding alone,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you know, having just been a table with people alone,
- 6:51Speaker 1: having to hit the dance floor with people that you
- 6:54Speaker 1: maybe don't know that wasn't the experience. You didn't have,
- 6:57Speaker 1: no anxiety about being by yourself. No, actually love it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Now for my cousin's wedding, the first wedding I went
- 7:06Speaker 2: to after like it was my first wedding that I
- 7:08Speaker 2: attended since my wedding. Yes, definitely my sister. No, I
- 7:13Speaker 2: knew everybody, you know, it was all of our friends
- 7:14Speaker 2: and family, but I there were a couple of cute
- 7:17Speaker 2: guys and there was this one single dude. Okay, there
- 7:20Speaker 2: was this one single guy. When did you get there?
- 7:22Speaker 1: Excuse what happened? Taking me through the timeline.
- 7:25Speaker 2: So once I was done with my makeup artist duties,
- 7:28Speaker 2: I was able to actually look up for my makeup
- 7:31Speaker 2: brushes and I see other humans and so funny because strategically,
- 7:35Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure my sister and her husband put me
- 7:38Speaker 2: next to this one dude who's single, best friends with
- 7:42Speaker 2: the groom and on paper, like I actually did ask
- 7:46Speaker 2: about this guy soon after I got divorced, and I
- 7:49Speaker 2: was like, oh, what's his deal? Because I always like
- 7:51Speaker 2: saw him whenever, like he's gathering, like he's always bringing
- 7:54Speaker 2: a new chick. And I was like, this guy, what's
- 7:56Speaker 2: you know? He's a year older than me or something
- 7:59Speaker 2: like that, and I was like, what's his deal? You know,
- 8:01Speaker 2: like did you have a commitment issues? Like what's happening.
- 8:04Speaker 2: First when I mentioned him, the response from my sister's
- 8:08Speaker 2: husband wasn't like very responsive. So I was like, oh,
- 8:11Speaker 2: maybe it's not Maybe either they think I'm not good
- 8:13Speaker 2: for him or whatever. And now they kept like kind
- 8:17Speaker 2: of saying. So like my sister goes, you know, I
- 8:19Speaker 2: met my husband on Riyah, like, do you think you should?
- 8:22Speaker 2: And I was like, no, I don't think I should,
- 8:25Speaker 2: but you might convince me maybe later down the road,
- 8:28Speaker 2: who knows, never say never. But she's like, and I said,
- 8:31Speaker 2: but how about your the you know, your husband's friend
- 8:35Speaker 2: And she goes, yeah, yeah, I'm single.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Do you think you're ready?
- 8:37Speaker 2: And I was like, if I meet somebody authentically like that,
- 8:40Speaker 2: it's different, right, Like it's different.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Than having to go on a dating app. I'm sorry,
- 8:44Speaker 1: but would that not be the cutest story ever? Like
- 8:47Speaker 1: it would until until we met at my sister.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Until something happened and it was such a turn up
- 8:55Speaker 2: and I don't want to say.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It, Cheryl, you have to tell me. I can't. I can't,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you can't. Err oh my god, Okay, you have to
- 9:03Speaker 1: tell me later then, but I will. But it was
- 9:06Speaker 1: nothing to do with me.
- 9:07Speaker 2: It had everything to do with his actions. And all
- 9:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna say is that I'm sober.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Well, I can deduce right what happens at a wedding,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you know, is people tend to I don't know. I
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't know if this time is at a wedding. I
- 9:19Speaker 1: hope it doesn't, got it. Okay, something happened not at
- 9:23Speaker 1: the wedding that turns you off.
- 9:24Speaker 2: No, it happened at the wedding, at the dinner, at
- 9:27Speaker 2: the speaking dinner reception. Okay, we'll talk about it later.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It's not my business to put it out there for sure.
- 9:34Speaker 1: But it wasn't There wasn't a connection. No, there was
- 9:38Speaker 1: there was a connection until that happened. Okay, Well, let
- 9:41Speaker 1: me ask you this, Cheryl. First of all, I i've
- 9:45Speaker 1: already I just gave you a hint. I'm sober, I know,
- 9:48Speaker 1: And I was about to say, Cheryl, I commend you
- 9:51Speaker 1: on your sobriety. You know that, Thank you. And I
- 9:53Speaker 1: think that that is also for anybody that I know
- 9:57Speaker 1: in life that is sober and in a partnership. It
- 10:00Speaker 1: is something that I've had conversations about with people where
- 10:04Speaker 1: I say, even if you don't have a problem, or
- 10:07Speaker 1: your partner doesn't have a problem, but has chosen that style.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You need to choose that lifestyle as well as being
- 10:16Speaker 1: in a partnership with somebody.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I'm not saying that he should have been so like,
- 10:20Speaker 2: I'm not saying that, but there's levels.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I was going to say, was this a moment of
- 10:27Speaker 1: indiscretion that we were at something or were you like, no,
- 10:31Speaker 1: this is probably a lifestyle difference. It's a lifestyle I asked, Yeah,
- 10:36Speaker 1: it's a lifestyle difference.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And if there were me ten years ago, it would
- 10:40Speaker 2: be a match one hundred percent.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and listen, kudos to you for recognizing that right
- 10:47Speaker 1: up front, and who knows. It's a shame. But also
- 10:52Speaker 1: maybe things change later on, you know what I mean.
- 10:55Speaker 2: And then there's there's another dude. I'm not just it's
- 10:59Speaker 2: not just one.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Okay, So talk about that. What happened? So all? Okay?
- 11:03Speaker 2: So on the during the rehearsal, like the actual rehearsal
- 11:07Speaker 2: at my parents' best friend's home where the wedding took place,
- 11:10Speaker 2: we were practicing these walkdowns and I was originally paired
- 11:14Speaker 2: with somebody and then I got switched and I was like,
- 11:16Speaker 2: oh rude, anyway.
- 11:18Speaker 1: So cute, quiet, he was cute and quiet and yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So I asked my sister.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Like, not obviously on her wedding day, but like, oh no.
- 11:32Speaker 2: She brought it up when I did her makeup on
- 11:34Speaker 2: her wedding day that morning, and she's like, what do
- 11:36Speaker 2: you think of so and so? And I was like, yeah, like,
- 11:39Speaker 2: I don't know. He seems really sweet. I don't freaking know.
- 11:42Speaker 2: We literally were just walking elbow to elbow two seconds.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I thought I was going a face plant. He saved
- 11:47Speaker 2: my life and that was it. And she and I said,
- 11:50Speaker 2: but doesn't he have a girl? I thought I saw
- 11:51Speaker 2: him with a girl. She goes, yeah, but they've been
- 11:53Speaker 2: fighting supposedly, you know, like Nicole.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Just because they're fighting on that day, I'm not going
- 12:00Speaker 1: to be the first of all.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I'm no, I am not somebody's rebound, okay.
- 12:07Speaker 1: But that's so funny. That's bringing up a memory of
- 12:09Speaker 1: a wedding I went to as well, where somebody was
- 12:12Speaker 1: like they're on the outs, blah blah blah, like somebody's
- 12:14Speaker 1: still having one argument. And it was no, it was
- 12:17Speaker 1: like people went like in on an argument at the
- 12:20Speaker 1: wedding and they were like, yeah, they're on the outs,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and so Anyways, what I'm hearing and what I'm liking
- 12:26Speaker 1: about this catchup Cheryl, is that I'm open. There's a
- 12:31Speaker 1: traction sparking for you too. Yeah I'm not blind, yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 1: but like literally, Cheryl, I think six months ago when
- 12:38Speaker 1: we were talking, you would be like hard pass like,
- 12:41Speaker 1: no way, my eyes are down.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I am not yet when you're talking dating apps or
- 12:47Speaker 2: anybody in this business.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yes, sure, but I don't think i've heard you express
- 12:53Speaker 1: like even when I was like, what about a guy
- 12:54Speaker 1: at the grocery store, You're like, I get my groceries delivered.
- 12:57Speaker 1: It's true. I would say the same damn thing today
- 13:00Speaker 1: is very true. But look, you went to a wedding.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I had to go to a wedding, but there were
- 13:06Speaker 1: two attractive men your orbit. So I think that this
- 13:10Speaker 1: is a good sign. I think it's a good sign.
- 13:13Speaker 2: But that's what I mean, just so you know, just
- 13:15Speaker 2: so we are clear, this is what I mean by
- 13:17Speaker 2: meeting somebody naturally like that, right, Like, I don't go
- 13:21Speaker 2: to weddings.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I'm not a makeup artist, nor do I ever. That
- 13:23Speaker 2: was so traumatizing. I will never do it again. But
- 13:26Speaker 2: I that's how you meet people.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, no, I agree, I agree. I want
- 13:41Speaker 1: to know. Like I said, we're halfway through the year
- 13:43Speaker 1: at this moment, I want to know what kind of
- 13:47Speaker 1: guy you are open to attracting into your life. I'm
- 13:52Speaker 1: not gonna say the term looking for because we're not
- 13:55Speaker 1: looking for anybody, but no, kind of man are you
- 13:59Speaker 1: interested in attracting to you at this time? What kind
- 14:04Speaker 1: of talk you about? Like material, no qualities, physical and
- 14:09Speaker 1: personality wise? What are you looking for? What is what's
- 14:12Speaker 1: getting your head to turn?
- 14:14Speaker 2: You know how they say that you're attracted to your
- 14:16Speaker 2: father or your dad.
- 14:17Speaker 1: No, I don't believe in that sentiment.
- 14:19Speaker 2: No, I definitely, especially if you've been abandoned by your father.
- 14:22Speaker 2: And yeah, no, I believe in it. Like I tell you,
- 14:26Speaker 2: every man I've dated seriously has been has especially my
- 14:30Speaker 2: ex husband.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Identified my father.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Okay, But like I was saying my therapist, she's like,
- 14:37Speaker 2: can we start attracting taller men?
- 14:40Speaker 1: But it's so funny because the guy that.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I actually liked to had the girlfriend was also a
- 14:47Speaker 2: surety shalloy listen?
- 14:50Speaker 1: Short kings need the love to.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah, just put a couple platform heels in there and
- 14:55Speaker 2: look good.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I like that you're do you, but also listen attract.
- 15:00Speaker 2: That is just I'm not talking deep clearly right now.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That is just straight up the distractions attraction, you know
- 15:05Speaker 1: what I mean? For me, I might like make some
- 15:10Speaker 1: people upset hearing this. In the ide part two world,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I'm not really attracted to bold men. That's my thing, okay,
- 15:20Speaker 1: And I don't think that that is I don't just
- 15:26Speaker 1: I don't want to say discriminate against bald men, but
- 15:29Speaker 1: I don't. It's not what turns my head.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Sorry, But what if you're stuck in a line during
- 15:35Speaker 2: a wedding and you're doing you know, I have to
- 15:37Speaker 2: tell you like I did lately, and I'm very proud
- 15:41Speaker 2: of myself for this. It's not about oh, what do
- 15:43Speaker 2: you look like? Then I'll talk to you. It's more like,
- 15:45Speaker 2: let me like we're just naturally talking as to people
- 15:47Speaker 2: who are being sat next to each other, do right then,
- 15:51Speaker 2: and then like, oh, this is what you physically look like,
- 15:54Speaker 2: you know, because it's like that's when I'm then if
- 15:57Speaker 2: the conversation is interesting enough, then that's when I'll take
- 15:59Speaker 2: it up.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Look right, yeah, I mean listen, yeah, you can be
- 16:03Speaker 1: as a track.
- 16:04Speaker 2: What I'm just saying, what if a baldy and you
- 16:06Speaker 2: had such a deep conversation. I mean.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Sure, I mean, I look, there's always a Jason stathum right.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Joy Lawrence doesn't your pickle, not not personally, but I
- 16:20Speaker 2: just today, but in the nineties maybe yeah, but he
- 16:23Speaker 2: wasn't bald then, correct, I know now he's bald, said,
- 16:27Speaker 2: but maybe he would have taken off your pickle.
- 16:28Speaker 1: There's always a Jason Statham who like, is really rocking
- 16:32Speaker 1: the bald look right, and like that's a thing and
- 16:34Speaker 1: that's hot that. Of course, there's exceptions to rules. It's
- 16:39Speaker 1: always about kindness first.
- 16:40Speaker 2: So you don't like you don't like the bald that
- 16:42Speaker 2: is being forced to be bald.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I don't like receding hairline. I don't like you're real picky.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Listen, so am I I love a girl that knows
- 16:51Speaker 2: what you want personally.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I don't think that's picky. I think that you know,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I think I think you talk to a man any
- 16:58Speaker 1: day of the week and he's going to give you
- 17:00Speaker 1: a laundry list of what turns his net for a woman.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So me being able to name one thing that I'm
- 17:07Speaker 1: not interested in, I really don't ari I do part two. People,
- 17:11Speaker 1: if that like is offensive, I'm sure anybody that is
- 17:15Speaker 1: dating somebody that is bald, it's like, that's great for you.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It's just personally not what.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, totally now never say never again. If your conversation
- 17:25Speaker 2: is so sexy that all of a sudden you look
- 17:28Speaker 2: up and or you did love is blind and he
- 17:30Speaker 2: was bald?
- 17:30Speaker 1: Who knows? Or I'm fifty five and I'm still single
- 17:33Speaker 1: and they're all bald. You know what I mean? Like,
- 17:35Speaker 1: who's wrong with fifty five and single? I'm just adding years.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I want to know what your.
- 17:45Speaker 2: This is a dual conversation. Okay, yeah, because one hundred
- 17:48Speaker 2: percent you're not interviewing me. This is not what we
- 17:50Speaker 2: agree with. I am, we're catching up.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I'm not in the market. What why are you taken? No,
- 17:58Speaker 1: your girl is way too damaged right now to be
- 18:02Speaker 1: getting in. That doesn't mean we can't have the conversation. Sure,
- 18:07Speaker 1: I mean, listen for me. In my local area, I've
- 18:11Speaker 1: said this so many times. I lived by a Whole
- 18:14Speaker 1: Foods that gets a lot of traction. You don't instacart.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I do my instacart and it's by the beach. And
- 18:23Speaker 1: the first time I went in there. I was shocked
- 18:28Speaker 1: at how many men I saw at the grocery store.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever seen that many men before
- 18:34Speaker 1: at one grocery store. Single young men, I don't know
- 18:37Speaker 1: it's single, but that amount of men at the grocery store, Oh,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I've never seen it before. And it's every time I
- 18:43Speaker 1: go there, every time. Who I should go to your
- 18:47Speaker 1: grocery store if I ever go. But I'm just saying, like,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I know that there's guys out there. It's right now,
- 18:55Speaker 1: like I'm coming across so many right when I'm out
- 18:58Speaker 1: in the world. Nothing is resonating with me right now.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Are they flirting with you? No? No, No, I'm not
- 19:06Speaker 1: talking to anybody, are they? No? No, Literally, the light
- 19:12Speaker 1: bulb is off, like my tax serial.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Light is off, and it is like, do not come
- 19:17Speaker 2: near me?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I listen, do I I don't think I'm giving
- 19:21Speaker 1: like RBF like everywhere I'm walking. But it's just I
- 19:26Speaker 1: know that I'm not putting out the signal that I'm interested.
- 19:30Speaker 1: But you that is true.
- 19:31Speaker 2: No, No, that is very but that is very true.
- 19:33Speaker 2: By the way, we're all energy. So yeah, I was
- 19:36Speaker 2: on that trains.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I can tell right now in our conversation that you're
- 19:40Speaker 1: putting out the signal, you're putting out the energy right now.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yep, yeah, I mean if it happens, it happens. Now,
- 19:47Speaker 2: this is what I don't want. Are we ready tell.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Me what you do want? I want to be positive?
- 19:51Speaker 2: No yeah, no, no, no, because I don't know necessarily I
- 19:54Speaker 2: can tell you what I don't want. I don't think
- 19:56Speaker 2: I can tell you what I want to.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Okay, get it sure like.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I think it's a mix. Now, this is what I
- 20:02Speaker 2: don't want because I I am. I don't want anybody
- 20:06Speaker 2: with the track record of cheating.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I think that's fair.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I don't know if I want somebody in the entertainment industry.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I'm leaning towards now.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna say no one's asking im. Okay, I'm
- 20:20Speaker 1: gonna say, as somebody that knows you that I think
- 20:23Speaker 1: that you don't need another entertainer. Yeah, I think you
- 20:29Speaker 1: still need somebody star. I don't need that that's still entertainment.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I think that you need someone entertainment adjacent. I could
- 20:37Speaker 1: see you being with a talent agent or a talent.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Maybe yes, yes, yes, or an an entertainment attorney. Yes,
- 20:47Speaker 2: even better that was my first and last date.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Remember oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm just saying like
- 20:54Speaker 1: that to me. Is it creates commonality in a yes,
- 20:59Speaker 1: I agree, But all so, I do believe the sentiment
- 21:03Speaker 1: a lot of times when you hear people say there
- 21:05Speaker 1: can only be like one star in the relationship, and
- 21:08Speaker 1: I really do think that. I do believe that you
- 21:10Speaker 1: are the star when you're in a relationship with somebody.
- 21:13Speaker 1: That's that is so true. Well, actually I wouldn't. I
- 21:16Speaker 1: wouldn't help. Stars can change and have different times. But you,
- 21:22Speaker 1: right now in this chapter of your life, you are
- 21:25Speaker 1: the star. And you if you were to get into
- 21:28Speaker 1: a partnership with somebody tomorrow, they would need to be
- 21:31Speaker 1: supportive of that star right now in this chapter.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, because like it's exhausting, if it's competitive.
- 21:39Speaker 1: You can't be in competition with your partner for the spotlight.
- 21:42Speaker 1: That will never work. That's why they say opposites attract
- 21:45Speaker 1: in that sense. And this is why I gravitated towards
- 21:48Speaker 1: the quiet guy at the wedding. I fully get that,
- 21:51Speaker 1: CHERYLD And I will tell you why I have never
- 21:54Speaker 1: been attracted to the alpha male. I have. It's so weird,
- 21:57Speaker 1: but never dated one always told people I am attracted
- 22:02Speaker 1: to quiet confidence, and I tend to like a more
- 22:09Speaker 1: subdued energy because I've dated the shot shots guy and
- 22:16Speaker 1: the everybody party guy, and it's like, I don't like
- 22:18Speaker 1: that guy. I don't like it.
- 22:20Speaker 2: So funny that you say that, because I actually, initially
- 22:23Speaker 2: I think I'm attracted to them. I never end up
- 22:26Speaker 2: with them. One but two, I have only started recently
- 22:30Speaker 2: appreciating the quiet The only confidence. By the way, there's
- 22:33Speaker 2: only one way, and it's the quiet one. There really is,
- 22:36Speaker 2: because the loud confidence is not so I could fight
- 22:39Speaker 2: anybody about it.
- 22:40Speaker 1: That's not confidence to me. I hear that. I agree
- 22:45Speaker 1: with that. For me, I'm I'm really mellow in real life,
- 22:51Speaker 1: you know, outside of work, I do not like to
- 22:56Speaker 1: be in the mix, and so like a quiet energy
- 23:01Speaker 1: is more what I tend to gravit towards too. Now,
- 23:04Speaker 1: the problem with a quiet energy is they don't always
- 23:07Speaker 1: make those first moves right, especially in the dating scene.
- 23:11Speaker 1: It can be really hard sometimes for them to make
- 23:13Speaker 1: the move. And personally, I've had to in anything that
- 23:19Speaker 1: I've been in that's been substantial, I've made those first moves.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And what's wrong with that? Well, now, in my reflective
- 23:28Speaker 1: chapter that I'm in at this time, I'm wondering if
- 23:31Speaker 1: I've ever been hoarded, and I don't think I have. Interesting.
- 23:36Speaker 1: It's really difficult because so.
- 23:37Speaker 2: It's not you mean on a deeper level like then
- 23:41Speaker 2: not necessarily a physical like I guess reported meaning like
- 23:45Speaker 2: making plans going out, like to dinner, him paying for it,
- 23:49Speaker 2: him opening your door.
- 23:50Speaker 1: No, that's happened. I'm talking about initial first moves. I'm
- 23:54Speaker 1: now in the play Cheryl in my head where I'm
- 23:57Speaker 1: looking back at everything in the rear view, and I'm thinking,
- 24:01Speaker 1: did that person actually ever want to be with me?
- 24:04Speaker 1: They never initiated the early stages of the relationship I did.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Did I interesting? Somebody that was like open to it
- 24:16Speaker 1: but like not really in it? It changes for you, Cheryl.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Every day for me is a new trauma. But I
- 24:25Speaker 1: are you in therapy? Yes, yes, Cheryl, yes, yes, yes,
- 24:29Speaker 1: But I want to know. Okay, so we know that
- 24:32Speaker 1: you don't want an entertainer. We know that you No,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I never said that. I didn't say I don't want.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I said I don't think I want, meaning like I
- 24:40Speaker 2: keep going back and forth.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Now again, if he is in.
- 24:43Speaker 2: My zeitgeist, and we do have great communication and we
- 24:48Speaker 2: have great conversations and there's an attraction. I'm not going
- 24:51Speaker 2: to be like, oh sorry, yeah, I can't do it,
- 24:54Speaker 2: you know, Like I'm just saying from what I did
- 24:56Speaker 2: it again, this is all on the surface stuff like
- 24:59Speaker 2: look at the end end of the day, I mean,
- 25:02Speaker 2: this is why for me to is like be like
- 25:05Speaker 2: a tall dark browd hair like it's just so miniscule
- 25:10Speaker 2: as to what I really I really want to partner.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I want somebody who balances We can balance each other out,
- 25:16Speaker 2: but we still say as two individuals that is so
- 25:19Speaker 2: important to me and that someone I need somebody that
- 25:22Speaker 2: can also put me in my place sometimes because I
- 25:24Speaker 2: can get you know, a little like whoa over bearing
- 25:28Speaker 2: sometimes but not in a rude way, in a way
- 25:31Speaker 2: where it's quiet, it's it's secure. It doesn't make me
- 25:34Speaker 2: feel abandoned. It makes me feel like, first of all,
- 25:37Speaker 2: nobody can make me feel anything, right.
- 25:39Speaker 1: So I'm going to.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Continue doing the work. But like he needs to be
- 25:43Speaker 2: so like stable and confident that in a way where
- 25:47Speaker 2: it complements the work that I'm going to continue to
- 25:49Speaker 2: do for the rest of my life. And that's all
- 25:51Speaker 2: I can say because it's so deep, it goes deeper,
- 25:55Speaker 2: what about.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Like financial stability at this stame, But that's all again
- 25:58Speaker 1: that is just seeing on yes, yes, yes, all of it.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I think that to me, Cheryl as somebody who you've done.
- 26:05Speaker 2: So, but that's not what's gonna be like my very
- 26:08Speaker 2: first conversation with the person, right like, either we're gonna talk,
- 26:12Speaker 2: We're either gonna connect or we're not like whoever it is.
- 26:15Speaker 2: And this is what I've also realized, no setting updates
- 26:18Speaker 2: like I can't. This is what makes me not act
- 26:22Speaker 2: authentic and what I know for sure makes the other
- 26:25Speaker 2: person sing weird like for sure. And it's like if
- 26:28Speaker 2: we meet in a group setting, like and this is
- 26:30Speaker 2: why this wedding thing happened so great, like it was
- 26:33Speaker 2: I mean in my head, but it was just like
- 26:35Speaker 2: no pressure, there's no freaking pressure. We were there doing
- 26:38Speaker 2: the same activities, but we were just there supporting the
- 26:42Speaker 2: people we love, right like, and yeah, there wasn't the
- 26:45Speaker 2: weird Let's go to pot Jay and I'm gonna end
- 26:48Speaker 2: up not knowing what to order and then I'm gonna
- 26:50Speaker 2: order what you have, Like there's none of that.
- 26:52Speaker 1: It's just being weird. That's weird. Yeah, no, no, no,
- 26:56Speaker 1: you kind of got my wheels turning though. Now, Cheryl,
- 26:59Speaker 1: I want to know, out of curiosity, do you ever,
- 27:02Speaker 1: like played pickleball or my mom does? Your mom does? Okay,
- 27:08Speaker 1: she's not single. Have you ever outside of dance? Have
- 27:12Speaker 1: you ever done like anything kind of athletic or sports
- 27:16Speaker 1: like outside of dance?
- 27:17Speaker 2: You realize that I was like the MVP of my
- 27:20Speaker 2: basketball team? Right?
- 27:22Speaker 1: Oh wait what No? I did not know this, but
- 27:25Speaker 1: I'm just very act.
- 27:26Speaker 2: My mom put me everything girl, like I went to
- 27:29Speaker 2: tennis Stanford Tennis camp every freaking summer, like it was
- 27:33Speaker 2: I was going to be a professional tennis player.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Cheryl, So you can play tennis, which means I know
- 27:37Speaker 1: what pickleball is. I know. I want to know, though.
- 27:42Speaker 1: What I think is kind of cute about pickleball is
- 27:45Speaker 1: it falls you know, say, I got competitive, We're trying
- 27:48Speaker 1: to win. Okay, I love that. But what I think,
- 27:51Speaker 1: as a non athlete, which is kind of cute about
- 27:55Speaker 1: pickleball is it falls into that tennis category of like
- 27:59Speaker 1: the theme outfit attire, like that whole part of it.
- 28:03Speaker 1: You don't care and somebody who likes to make up
- 28:07Speaker 1: and wears cute outfits and does cute videos. That is
- 28:10Speaker 1: not something you like, I will I do I do now?
- 28:13Speaker 1: But back then I was like, I'm gonna be Serena Williams. No,
- 28:16Speaker 1: we're talking now. We're talking about the present day if
- 28:19Speaker 1: you were to come. Okay, So here, I'm gonna just
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm just gonna rip the back.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, this is is this the big reveal, This
- 28:26Speaker 2: is the big reut to commercial.
- 28:27Speaker 1: We're cutting to commercial first. So we're doing a really
- 28:42Speaker 1: fun Pickaball event in Tahoe next month, and honest, I
- 28:49Speaker 1: Do Part two is gonna be there. So we thought, Okay,
- 28:54Speaker 1: Cheryl's gonna be there. Who else from some of the
- 28:57Speaker 1: you know, other fun kind of podcast that we do
- 29:00Speaker 1: are going to be there? And then I had this
- 29:03Speaker 1: really great idea because we had this really amazing guy
- 29:09Speaker 1: on I Do Part two a couple of weeks ago,
- 29:12Speaker 1: and I'm I'm going to just say there are some
- 29:15Speaker 1: like cute, like little similarities that I'm noticing. First of all,
- 29:19Speaker 1: first and foremost, how solicy I actually don't know that
- 29:25Speaker 1: over my head, but I will tell you this, if
- 29:27Speaker 1: you're where to goes what I really like about him
- 29:30Speaker 1: and the possibility of you two getting.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Along, like becoming friends.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I said getting along. I didn't say anything else, like,
- 29:38Speaker 1: well friends. First, he talked about doing the work, and
- 29:44Speaker 1: I know that that's important to you and has been.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Your journey is about being open talking about doing the work.
- 29:52Speaker 1: So that to me. So he is divorced, and it's
- 29:58Speaker 1: he does have two kids. Hold on, I'm gonna text
- 30:01Speaker 1: you his Instagram.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Don't worry, I already did it. You're following, by the way, ps,
- 30:06Speaker 2: we're following each other.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I love it. You're stupid, surprised you and your surprise.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Maybe I should have gone with it because I couldn't
- 30:15Speaker 2: anymore because I was like, this is the wait, don't
- 30:17Speaker 2: we're following each other already?
- 30:18Speaker 1: Wait? I love this so obviously, Listeners, we are talking
- 30:21Speaker 1: about JP Rosenbaum, who was recently on the podcast. If
- 30:25Speaker 1: you didn't listen to that episode, definitely go back and
- 30:28Speaker 1: get a therapy session about him. Okay, but what I
- 30:32Speaker 1: like about him, Cheryl and the possibility of there being
- 30:37Speaker 1: a nice, you know, commonality between you two is one
- 30:43Speaker 1: about how much growth he talked about on the pod
- 30:45Speaker 1: about after his divorce and what that's been like for
- 30:49Speaker 1: him personally but also in his co parenting relationship. I
- 30:54Speaker 1: thought was really really cool. And then second of all,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I don't know you. I don't know if you saw
- 30:59Speaker 1: he's making headlines in this last week with his ex
- 31:03Speaker 1: wife Ashley, because they just went on a really amazing
- 31:07Speaker 1: family vacation with my kids and it was just the
- 31:11Speaker 1: two of them, it looked like with their kids, and
- 31:14Speaker 1: they were like posting and sharing about it, and it
- 31:16Speaker 1: was just like really cool to see two parents that.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I mean, you and I are both products of like
- 31:25Speaker 1: you know, divorce and stuff like, and we know what
- 31:27Speaker 1: that can be like growing up as kids. But we
- 31:30Speaker 1: went on family vacations, though you did. I did not know.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Well, we went to go visit my father at a
- 31:35Speaker 2: strip clubs vacation, So I don't know how much that
- 31:38Speaker 2: would be considered as a vacation.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Family friendly or like a vacation does not Disneyland. I
- 31:44Speaker 1: don't have those kinds of memories with my parents, and
- 31:47Speaker 1: I think that that's something that's really respectable. Yes, And
- 31:52Speaker 1: I think it's also a really good testament of being
- 31:55Speaker 1: able to check the ego right, because that's a huge
- 31:59Speaker 1: part is like he talked about how his ex wife
- 32:02Speaker 1: is already in a relationship, and at first that shit,
- 32:06Speaker 1: oh she's been yeah, because they've been divorced for like
- 32:08Speaker 1: over four years now. Oh wow, yeah, so it's been
- 32:11Speaker 1: a minute. He also said some really nice and respectable
- 32:14Speaker 1: things about his wife, you know, new partner, and because
- 32:19Speaker 1: that person is around his kids and stuff like that,
- 32:22Speaker 1: you know, he's really really even keeled. So I really
- 32:25Speaker 1: like that first and foremost even keed. How do you know,
- 32:29Speaker 1: just because I think a man that is able to
- 32:32Speaker 1: openly talk about that experience and have humility and grace
- 32:36Speaker 1: when talking about their ex I think speaks volumes. That's
- 32:40Speaker 1: what I mean. It didn't sound contentious, it didn't sound angry,
- 32:43Speaker 1: it didn't sound dismissive. It sounded really nice, mature and yes,
- 32:48Speaker 1: and like somebody like he said that don't work, you know,
- 32:51Speaker 1: so yes, great.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and the fact that he has kids obviously is
- 32:56Speaker 2: very it's good that that happens. You don't want people,
- 32:59Speaker 2: you know, I've been witness to people catching each other
- 33:03Speaker 2: when kids are around, and it's not necessarily the best environment.
- 33:06Speaker 1: So you guys are following each other.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because we've had this discussion. Hey, hey, I
- 33:13Speaker 2: do Part two. Folks, this is no surprise. I can't
- 33:17Speaker 2: be surprised, as you know that. But anyway, since you
- 33:20Speaker 2: mentioned his name, and since I got that lovely group text,
- 33:24Speaker 2: of course, don't you know who you're talking to? I
- 33:27Speaker 2: might as well be a private investigator.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I mean, I love that. But like when we look
- 33:31Speaker 1: at his Instagram, like, what do we haven't looked at
- 33:34Speaker 1: it yet. I just started.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I just pressed the follow button. Okay, it doesn't mean
- 33:38Speaker 2: I'm scrolling.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Can you look at it right now while you're on
- 33:42Speaker 1: here with me. I can't really focus. I'm so bad
- 33:45Speaker 1: at this. Okay, fine, as long as I can. I
- 33:47Speaker 1: just want to know what your overall gland. What do
- 33:50Speaker 1: you want me to look at? Specifically? Just look at
- 33:52Speaker 1: his page and like what do you oh, you mean
- 33:54Speaker 1: the aesthetic I can't do it aesthetic because his aesthetic is.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I love that he's Jewish. I'm Jewish, you know that, right?
- 34:01Speaker 2: I don't know I'm fifty four percent or no, sorry,
- 34:05Speaker 2: fifty three percent Osazi. Didn't know that My father lied
- 34:08Speaker 2: to me this whole time. Okay, rest in peace, my
- 34:12Speaker 2: Jewish father.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Do you love the fact that he's like, look, he's
- 34:17Speaker 1: on a boat like he lives in Miami.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Okay, so well, no, if there's a connection in the woman,
- 34:22Speaker 2: I shake this mean's hand. Okay, this is just all here,
- 34:25Speaker 2: This is all great, book great. You know, I don't
- 34:27Speaker 2: want someone to judge me off my happy Instagram either,
- 34:30Speaker 2: Like this is not the real me what you see
- 34:32Speaker 2: on my Instagram.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Okay, my god, he looks like my dad.
- 34:35Speaker 2: He looks like my dad. He just looks like my
- 34:37Speaker 2: father a little bit. He looks a little bit like
- 34:39Speaker 2: my dad. I don't know what to say other than
- 34:41Speaker 2: I clearly still have daddy issues. Jesus, Jesus, Yeah, he
- 34:46Speaker 2: looks like my father. He really does look like my dad. Here,
- 34:49Speaker 2: I'm not joking, not even a little bit.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Sure, I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Okay, that doesn't mean I mean that means if anything, Oh,
- 34:59Speaker 2: I got a chance. I can't do that whole Instagram thing.
- 35:02Speaker 2: It really is just so it's like small talk. It's nasty.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Let me say this clearly, by looking at the instagram.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Right with the instagram, we know that he's a dad.
- 35:14Speaker 1: We know that he's a dad Jewish and looks like
- 35:16Speaker 1: my daddy. And so right off, right off the rit
- 35:20Speaker 1: from that, have you ever dated a single dad? Is
- 35:24Speaker 1: that something that you know? Have you ever dreamed of
- 35:28Speaker 1: or thought of yourself being a stepmom?
- 35:31Speaker 2: By the way, kids, well, I love that he has kids.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Like that has nothing to do with anything. I mean, honestly,
- 35:37Speaker 2: it's yeah, no, I don't. I always said that it
- 35:40Speaker 2: would be great to have somebody who has already had
- 35:42Speaker 2: the kids, because then I won't have the pressure of
- 35:44Speaker 2: trying to have one or whatever it is. You know.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, cool, So it's not a turn off. I
- 35:50Speaker 1: like that. Nothing has been a turnoff yet. Cool. I
- 35:54Speaker 1: like that.
- 35:54Speaker 2: That's like, how optimistic I am.
- 35:57Speaker 1: So what I'm what We're ski.
- 36:00Speaker 2: No, we're not doing anything. You're just don't live and
- 36:02Speaker 2: get back down to earth. Okay, this is just two
- 36:04Speaker 2: people that are single that you think would be a
- 36:08Speaker 2: good match.
- 36:08Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it is. We're having this fun pickleball
- 36:11Speaker 1: event in tom and there's going to be a lot
- 36:16Speaker 1: of other people there.
- 36:18Speaker 2: A lot of other people. Like was this guy at
- 36:20Speaker 2: the bat I don't watch The Bachelor?
- 36:21Speaker 1: Was he a bachelor? So he won the bachelorette so
- 36:26Speaker 1: he wasn't the Bachelor? No, so he went on it.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Ashley season.
- 36:31Speaker 2: He it he.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Married her, and the season was that, Oh my gosh,
- 36:36Speaker 1: like five or something wow, like years ago, like twenty eleven,
- 36:42Speaker 1: twenty twelve, oh or even before that. It's like, what
- 36:45Speaker 1: does he do now? So he's a real estate developer
- 36:48Speaker 1: in Miami.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Interesting stick in he lives in Miami.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yeah, so he didn't. He didn't stick into the reality
- 36:58Speaker 1: TV world. I like that.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I like it.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I like it he was a one and done kind
- 37:02Speaker 1: of guy. I also love that he lives on the
- 37:03Speaker 1: opposite side of Also, I kind of like that he's
- 37:08Speaker 1: like in a beach and it's like, you know, I'm
- 37:13Speaker 1: not getting ahead of myself, but I'm just no, I'm
- 37:17Speaker 1: just saying that I think you should come to Tahoe.
- 37:22Speaker 1: You should come to this pickleball event. Yes, I will
- 37:25Speaker 1: if I'm available. Yes, And it's just a group thing.
- 37:29Speaker 1: And I also, now that you've told me you are
- 37:31Speaker 1: basically a tennis star, I feel like you need to.
- 37:35Speaker 2: We're not announcing this, We're not gonna do you understand.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I was in seventh grade, like, don't you dare.
- 37:41Speaker 1: No, I'm just saying I feel like it's time to
- 37:44Speaker 1: wear a cute outfit. It's summertime and you're gonna show
- 37:47Speaker 1: me what's up times. I don't play tennis, I don't
- 37:50Speaker 1: play pickleball. But anyways, it's got to shave it from Zara.
- 37:53Speaker 1: It's in, it's in, it arrived. We've got to open
- 37:56Speaker 1: the box. I'll leave you. I'll leave you with this.
- 37:59Speaker 1: If anything that I feel like you and I have
- 38:02Speaker 1: kind of learned in this last year is maybe to
- 38:05Speaker 1: be a little bit more like our friend Kelly ben Simone.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I love Kelly and just have fun, you know, hold on,
- 38:12Speaker 2: I just need to ask, well, I mean, i'll ask her,
- 38:14Speaker 2: but what what's the status of her and her dating life?
- 38:20Speaker 1: I think she's just you know, having fun. A lot
- 38:24Speaker 1: of these guys and she'll say this too, a lot
- 38:26Speaker 1: of these guys have either dated somebody that she knows
- 38:31Speaker 1: or you know, somebody that she was on TV with.
- 38:34Speaker 1: And it's like, I understand, the pool gets really small
- 38:37Speaker 1: when you get to be a certain age. That's another thing.
- 38:41Speaker 1: But you know, she's gorgeous and she doesn't need to
- 38:45Speaker 1: just be dating guys in New York. She could broaden
- 38:48Speaker 1: the scope and like not be dating people that dated
- 38:50Speaker 1: her co stars. And does she know that though maybe
- 38:53Speaker 1: it's all in her. You know. Maybe you can tell
- 38:55Speaker 1: her that when you guys talk, well I do, I
- 38:58Speaker 1: do tell her. Yeah, I just think I'll leave you
- 39:01Speaker 1: with that. Let's just maybe take a place, you know,
- 39:03Speaker 1: out of Kelly ben Simone's book and just yes fun
- 39:06Speaker 1: and go to this pickleball event. So I just love
- 39:10Speaker 1: catching up with you today, Cheryl. This was so fun.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I loved hearing just about that things are getting your
- 39:18Speaker 1: attention now because I just think, like six months ago,
- 39:21Speaker 1: you weren't talking like this. So I just like, I
- 39:25Speaker 1: like this conversation today. Well, thank you, and you know
- 39:28Speaker 1: what did.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Oh for sure going to take a play out of
- 39:32Speaker 2: fellow mentor Kelly ben Simon's playbook and just see what
- 39:35Speaker 2: happens because you never know. And of course we're going
- 39:38Speaker 2: to keep you guys posted on the pickleball events. My
- 39:42Speaker 2: mom is going to be so proud.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 39:45Speaker 2: So if you're ready to date again, maybe you are,
- 39:47Speaker 2: maybe you're not, and you're just not exactly sure where
