- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast We've missed.
- 0:09Speaker 2: You can't believe how time is flying. We're already in
- 0:13Speaker 2: week six of The Golden Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Before we break down those episodes, it's time for Bachelor headlines.
- 0:20Speaker 2: And one headline didn't actually make it out in the media,
- 0:25Speaker 2: but it's apparently juicy and it's on our list to
- 0:28Speaker 2: go down. Ben. Apparently you were in Hawaii with Dean
- 0:34Speaker 2: and Kaylin and your wife and you like called out
- 0:38Speaker 2: a sixty year old woman for her behavior. Oh yeah,
- 0:42Speaker 2: this was caught on video. This would have been a
- 0:44Speaker 2: massive headline. Was it bachelor induced? Like as in? No, okay?
- 0:50Speaker 2: So she didn't come to you as a fan? No, okay, okay, opposite,
- 0:55Speaker 2: it wasn't a fan of Bennett. No.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I don't think she has any clue.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Who are or does that you know matter? Or is
- 1:02Speaker 2: this expected or anything like that.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I got really angry. I snapped. Jess has only
- 1:09Speaker 3: seen me probably snap or what she called get sassy.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I think her and Kaylen called to get sassy, So
- 1:15Speaker 3: maybe I think she's probably seen it twice in our relationship. Dean,
- 1:22Speaker 3: I think it's seen it once. Kaylen's never seen it,
- 1:24Speaker 3: and so I think it shook Kaylen. You know, actually,
- 1:28Speaker 3: I don't think anybody listened to the show is unaware
- 1:31Speaker 3: that I have some pet peeves. I don't think anybody
- 1:35Speaker 3: is unaware that the fact that, like some things in life,
- 1:38Speaker 3: I feel could be avoided and probably would make everybody's
- 1:43Speaker 3: life function a little better.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Okay, Ben, before you go on, can I just guess
- 1:47Speaker 2: what it was about if it wasn't like bachelor related,
- 1:49Speaker 2: because I thought that maybe she came up and like
- 1:52Speaker 2: said something about the way that you handled yourself as
- 1:54Speaker 2: bachelor so many years later bla blah blah blah. So
- 1:57Speaker 2: now that I know it's not bachelor related, I'm thinking,
- 1:59Speaker 2: is it like the way is she treated a server
- 2:02Speaker 2: or people who worked at the hotel a little bit? Not?
- 2:06Speaker 3: No, not not in the employee. So here's the situation.
- 2:08Speaker 3: So Dean Kayle and I, Jessica and well Dean, Kaylen,
- 2:12Speaker 3: Jessica and myself went to Hawaii. This is with Hilton
- 2:14Speaker 3: Grand Vacations. It was a great trip and it was
- 2:17Speaker 3: kind of in preparation for the big golf term that
- 2:19Speaker 3: I love to play in that Hilton sponsors, and so
- 2:23Speaker 3: we went down we were staying in Hawaii. It was
- 2:26Speaker 3: kind of something Jessica and I wanted to do because
- 2:28Speaker 3: I couldn't make it to Dean's bachelor party and then
- 2:32Speaker 3: obviously for their wedding, they didn't get to go on
- 2:34Speaker 3: a honeymoon, so like, hey, this will be a really
- 2:36Speaker 3: fun time for all of us to go down there together.
- 2:37Speaker 3: We had a great time, a really good time together.
- 2:40Speaker 3: It's wild when you can stay in an apartment with
- 2:42Speaker 3: four well to another couple and it just goes so well,
- 2:46Speaker 3: and we did. So when I went to a luau,
- 2:49Speaker 3: went to this luau and there's probably I would say
- 2:52Speaker 3: eight hundred people a thousand people at this louau is huge,
- 2:55Speaker 3: it's beautiful.
- 2:56Speaker 2: How many times do I say holy moly a week.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I don't know. I haven't count too many. Too many.
- 3:01Speaker 3: So we go to this louau eight hundred people and
- 3:04Speaker 3: it's beautiful and it's great, and it's the kind of
- 3:06Speaker 3: the entry to the night where food is being served
- 3:10Speaker 3: and there's somebody doing an incredible like dance on stage
- 3:14Speaker 3: with like a guitar. It's very like slow piece of
- 3:17Speaker 3: the evening and we as somebody comes up to us
- 3:20Speaker 3: and they say, hey, can I get a picture? And
- 3:23Speaker 3: of course we all go yeah, of course you can. Okay,
- 3:26Speaker 3: we take a picture.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So it sounds bachelor fandom related.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yeah, so we get a picture. Okay, and then another
- 3:32Speaker 3: person comes up and they say, hey, can we get
- 3:33Speaker 3: a picture? And I'm like, yeah, you can, you know,
- 3:36Speaker 3: all of us like this is all of us together
- 3:37Speaker 3: and being like yeah, that's fine, that's great, like go ahead.
- 3:40Speaker 3: And then once that person does, you know, there's like
- 3:42Speaker 3: a little line of now people taking pictures.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Again, the night hasn't started. Food is just being served,
- 3:49Speaker 3: and you know, I'm at this point getting a not frustrated.
- 3:52Speaker 3: But everybody comes up and says just one more, one more,
- 3:55Speaker 3: one last one. It's like, well, that's not true, Like
- 3:57Speaker 3: you can't say that there's one last one because there's
- 3:59Speaker 3: gonna be some brand new that comes up. And that's
- 4:01Speaker 3: fine too. Let's just you know, let's just get through this.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Let's do this because we're trying to enjoy our dinner.
- 4:06Speaker 3: And and I never get like angry at people wanting pictures. Yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 3: but it was kind of like it was the line
- 4:14Speaker 3: was getting longer, right, Yeah, So this person comes up
- 4:18Speaker 3: and they say, hey, can we get a picture? And
- 4:19Speaker 3: it's like four ladies and they're great and they're having
- 4:21Speaker 3: a good time on their vacation, and this lady behind
- 4:24Speaker 3: them goes, hey, mister celebrity, how about you? How about
- 4:31Speaker 3: you sit down? And I said, excuse me, and so
- 4:36Speaker 3: we took the picture and then she goes, how about
- 4:39Speaker 3: you sit down or you move to take your pictures?
- 4:42Speaker 3: And I said, I'm sorry, it's like, do you think
- 4:44Speaker 3: I'm asking for pictures? And she goes, well, you're the
- 4:48Speaker 3: one getting all the pictures, mister celebrity. What And I said,
- 4:52Speaker 3: I said, I think your logic, lady, is incredibly flawed.
- 4:56Speaker 3: And here's why.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Did you say, lady?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Yeah? I did? Yeah, I was mad. Yeah, And she
- 5:01Speaker 3: was sitting right behind us, and I said, here's the deal.
- 5:05Speaker 3: We're not blocking anything. People are asking to take pictures
- 5:08Speaker 3: with us. If I had it my way, I would
- 5:11Speaker 3: be sitting having dinner. But we're gonna take pictures. And
- 5:16Speaker 3: do you want me to get up and walk past
- 5:18Speaker 3: now eight hundred people with four other people every time
- 5:23Speaker 3: somebody wants a picture with us, So that we can
- 5:25Speaker 3: get a picture and then we walk all the way
- 5:27Speaker 3: back to our seats and sit down, or would you
- 5:28Speaker 3: rather me expedite this and take a picture as quick
- 5:31Speaker 3: as we can so that everybody can get back to
- 5:33Speaker 3: their evening. And she didn't say anything.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I was gonna say good.
- 5:37Speaker 3: So then the night starts right nice times, and I'm
- 5:42Speaker 3: fuming because she she said it twice. I was really upset,
- 5:46Speaker 3: and I just thought in my mind, I was upset
- 5:51Speaker 3: because I thought she was making it uncomfortable for not
- 5:53Speaker 3: only me, but also the people asking for pictures, which
- 5:56Speaker 3: is an uncomfortable thing to do when you ask anybody
- 5:59Speaker 3: take a picture you. I also thought that it was
- 6:02Speaker 3: inappropriate of her to at any level blame Dean Calen
- 6:07Speaker 3: or myself for what was happening in this situation, because
- 6:10Speaker 3: we can't control it and there is no navigation to
- 6:14Speaker 3: it other than get the picture and sit down, or
- 6:16Speaker 3: to say no, which makes you look like a jerk.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 3: So then the night starts and the fire begins and they,
- 6:23Speaker 3: you know, start their whole show, and she gets something,
- 6:25Speaker 3: goes the bathroom, and I said, hey, you're missing the show,
- 6:27Speaker 3: which probably was where I shouldn't have said anything else,
- 6:30Speaker 3: like I probably at this point should have kept to myself.
- 6:32Speaker 3: At that point, I felt bad.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you're just Europist. It's fine.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I'm just I'm just angry few me could not help yourself. No,
- 6:40Speaker 3: So I'm sure somebody there that was sitting at her
- 6:43Speaker 3: long table saw me stand at the table and tell
- 6:46Speaker 3: her that I thought her logic was incredibly flawed and
- 6:49Speaker 3: get really upset with her and also speak back to it.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I don't feel bad about what I said to her,
- 6:54Speaker 3: because I do think she was in the wrong. I
- 6:55Speaker 3: think there is a respect level, and also you know
- 6:59Speaker 3: her how having their wherewithal and the intelligence to know that, hey,
- 7:03Speaker 3: this probably is an ideal for them either. And yes
- 7:06Speaker 3: it isn't ideal for me because now you know they
- 7:08Speaker 3: are kind of standing in my way. But this isn't
- 7:10Speaker 3: something that they asked for or tried to have happen,
- 7:13Speaker 3: and so getting mad at them is not really you know,
- 7:16Speaker 3: getting to the heart of the issue. I was upset
- 7:21Speaker 3: about that. I did lose sleep that night then because
- 7:26Speaker 3: I felt bad for the people that were still in
- 7:28Speaker 3: line wanting to picture because they didn't ask any longer.
- 7:31Speaker 3: And I'm wondering if I made them feel like they
- 7:33Speaker 3: were doing something bad, And I don't think anybody's doing
- 7:35Speaker 3: anything bad here. I just think it's like, it's unfortunate
- 7:39Speaker 3: that you know, we're sitting in the middle table and yes,
- 7:41Speaker 3: there is a line of people taking pictures now to
- 7:44Speaker 3: close this at the appropriate time, while dinner is being
- 7:47Speaker 3: served and there is no show going on on the stage.
- 7:52Speaker 3: What do you mean, like if this would have been
- 7:54Speaker 3: happening while the like actual lua was being done, like
- 7:57Speaker 3: the dancing and the singing, then then I I would
- 8:00Speaker 3: have understood a little bit where I still would have
- 8:02Speaker 3: liked the way she talked to us, but I would
- 8:07Speaker 3: have understood her a frustration. The show hadn't even started yet,
- 8:10Speaker 3: like we were just eating dinner and having drinks. So yeah,
- 8:13Speaker 3: you know, I don't know what was going on with her.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say something that when
- 8:17Speaker 2: she was walking to the bathroom and you said you're
- 8:20Speaker 2: missing Michelle, I thought she was going to retaliate. She didn't.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I don't know, no nothing. I mean, I think at
- 8:26Speaker 3: that point it was over, and I think it only
- 8:27Speaker 3: could have got that was very dumb of me. I
- 8:29Speaker 3: should have kept it. I should have been mature enough
- 8:31Speaker 3: to say, Nope, the situation's done, it's over with, but
- 8:36Speaker 3: you know, it is what it is. But yes, I did,
- 8:39Speaker 3: did Dean and Kaylen?
- 8:40Speaker 2: And they would they would they know, No, they.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Didn't even say a word. They I don't even know
- 8:46Speaker 3: if they thought I was in the right. I think
- 8:47Speaker 3: they were just like, dang, all right, well been snappy.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Sassy is what they called me. They said, I got sassy.
- 8:54Speaker 2: That's sassy. That's sassy. That's not like me, and it's sassy.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I didn't like try to. I didn't
- 8:59Speaker 3: say anything personally to attack her.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Well, I mean she was referring to as mister celebrity,
- 9:04Speaker 2: like thinking as if you had an ego. I think, yeah,
- 9:08Speaker 2: first insinuating that you were bringing all this on because
- 9:13Speaker 2: it's like something that you were like inviting, actively inviting.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I think that's what really set you off.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Set me off, it did, and I think at that
- 9:21Speaker 3: point I was a little bit frustrated either, also because
- 9:25Speaker 3: you know, we hadn't had dinner together, which is fine,
- 9:28Speaker 3: it's kind of expected. You know, you go to a
- 9:29Speaker 3: big group and like Dean and Kaalin are a hot
- 9:32Speaker 3: commodity right now, like they're freshly married. They're just in
- 9:34Speaker 3: people like the people love them and they know them.
- 9:37Speaker 3: So I get it. I just don't. I don't like
- 9:39Speaker 3: to feel I don't personally like to feel bad for something.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I feel like I couldn't control, like I had done
- 9:46Speaker 3: something wrong, Like I felt like I had done something
- 9:48Speaker 3: wrong in this and I had it.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Let's also just say that please come up to us
- 9:54Speaker 2: and take pictures. We love it and never feel weird
- 9:59Speaker 2: or awkward.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Just don't get mad at me during it. Anyways, we
- 10:13Speaker 3: do have other headlines this week, and I'm hoping maybe
- 10:17Speaker 3: somebody does have a video of me getting sassy if it,
- 10:19Speaker 3: you know.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I know of a thousand people you would think it.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Hit the If it hit the web, I would. I
- 10:24Speaker 3: would want to watch it because I kind of like
- 10:27Speaker 3: it was so so mad. I don't remember everything. Anyways.
- 10:31Speaker 3: The Golden Bachelor sounder Mason reacts to criticism over a
- 10:34Speaker 3: missing daughter's wedding for the show. This is something we've
- 10:38Speaker 3: talked about on this podcast. I'm glad she's speaking out
- 10:40Speaker 3: on it because we wanted a little.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Personal but we didn't talk about it last week though
- 10:44Speaker 2: I don't think we did. Jess and I did you ingested. Okay,
- 10:48Speaker 2: that's why it was in the week before, all right, Yeah, so.
- 10:52Speaker 3: What was your take, because jess has a different take
- 10:56Speaker 3: than me. So jess as Nana and I both said, hey,
- 11:00Speaker 3: we understand like at some point in your life, maybe
- 11:02Speaker 3: you got to be a little selfish. This felt like
- 11:05Speaker 3: something that she wanted to try and do, and obviously
- 11:06Speaker 3: her and her daughter had agreed to this. And yes,
- 11:09Speaker 3: it's a big moment, but it's also a big moment
- 11:11Speaker 3: for her mom to like step back out there and
- 11:13Speaker 3: go in the dating world. Again. Is it ideal timing? No,
- 11:18Speaker 3: but we understood that, like, hey, it's okay. Jessica felt
- 11:23Speaker 3: like it was. I just think Jessica thinks about like
- 11:27Speaker 3: the fact that her mom missed her wedding, like how
- 11:30Speaker 3: weird that would be for her, And I think she
- 11:31Speaker 3: was like, I just can't imagine it.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I agree with what you said. They definitely jointly came
- 11:37Speaker 2: up with this plan and the daughter was supportive of it.
- 11:42Speaker 2: And here's why, I'm pretty sure the wedding and I
- 11:45Speaker 2: think she may have said this, maybe it wasn't clear.
- 11:48Speaker 2: It was really small. It almost like it was a
- 11:50Speaker 2: courthouse wedding. It looked like it was like a just
- 11:52Speaker 2: like a It wasn't like a huge party, it wasn't
- 11:55Speaker 2: like a thing. It was like we're going to go
- 11:57Speaker 2: sign paperwork type thing. And in that case, I think
- 12:00Speaker 2: she was like, Mom, you don't have to be present
- 12:02Speaker 2: when I'm just like going to the courthouse or having
- 12:03Speaker 2: like the smallest ceremony ever. Yeah, if it was a
- 12:06Speaker 2: wedding like your wedding or like my wedding, like that
- 12:09Speaker 2: would have been effing weird.
- 12:11Speaker 3: It would be weird. It definitely would be odd. I
- 12:15Speaker 3: still think, though, there's there's a world in which like
- 12:18Speaker 3: it would be okay because her mom is trying something
- 12:20Speaker 3: different and her mom is doing something for herself, and
- 12:23Speaker 3: you know, you don't know the backstory of their relationship
- 12:26Speaker 3: and how often her mom has right. But I do
- 12:29Speaker 3: think we're a courthouse wedding. It makes a lot more sense.
- 12:32Speaker 3: And then I'm assuming, just like most courthouse weddings, at
- 12:34Speaker 3: some point in the future, the family gets together for
- 12:38Speaker 3: like a good dinner or like to have some drinks
- 12:40Speaker 3: or whatever to celebrate, and I'm guessing her mom will
- 12:43Speaker 3: be at that. I'm guessing her and like that would
- 12:45Speaker 3: be See, she.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Says, that okay, So this is what she says in
- 12:48Speaker 2: the article. She knows she got a little backlash on it,
- 12:52Speaker 2: but again, like, no shade. There's no shade coming from
- 12:54Speaker 2: me because as much as it would been weird for
- 12:57Speaker 2: one of my parents to miss my wedding coumstances, the specifics,
- 13:01Speaker 2: we don't know. She and her daughter are cool with
- 13:03Speaker 2: what went down. I think that there's also the question
- 13:06Speaker 2: of if you knew that she was gonna like at
- 13:09Speaker 2: this point where she was top six, she should have
- 13:12Speaker 2: known or I don't know, do you know, do you
- 13:15Speaker 2: not know whether she was going to continue on with Gary?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Like should she have left early knowing that maybe there
- 13:21Speaker 2: were a good couple of front runners before her.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I don't think she has any idea, right, I mean, yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 3: at that point, I think she's still up there.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yeah, wells what she said. She said like she felt
- 13:31Speaker 2: like she had like a fifty to fifty shot of
- 13:32Speaker 2: being maybe she's She says, quote, mathematically fifty percent or
- 13:39Speaker 2: less than fifty percent? How what does this? How does
- 13:44Speaker 2: how is this the real? Mathematically fifty percent or less
- 13:47Speaker 2: than fifty percent chance? Whatever that means? This is a
- 13:51Speaker 2: quote from her. She says we had six women, that
- 13:54Speaker 2: was her chance. So you know, in my heart and
- 13:56Speaker 2: in my psyche, I knew that Gary and I had
- 13:57Speaker 2: formed a deeper one of the deeper relationships. Get that.
- 14:04Speaker 2: The bottom line here is that she's glad that she
- 14:06Speaker 2: did this. Her son in law said, a ceremony is
- 14:12Speaker 2: eight minutes. Our marriage is for a lifetime. He said, go.
- 14:16Speaker 2: And then of course my daughter's response was, Mom, I've
- 14:19Speaker 2: got my guy, you go get yours. The thought of
- 14:22Speaker 2: me not coming to meet Gary was the wrong thing
- 14:25Speaker 2: to do. So she said, we are all going to
- 14:29Speaker 2: go out to dinner, and she went out and purchased
- 14:31Speaker 2: a gift for them, and she's going to kiss them
- 14:33Speaker 2: all over during their wedding celebration. And then she also
- 14:38Speaker 2: has mentioned, because she's kind of active on Instagram, that
- 14:41Speaker 2: she's had a lot of men sliding into the DMS
- 14:44Speaker 2: and she's excited to go and respond back. She's very hopeful,
- 14:49Speaker 2: been traveling a lot. And then she's going to get
- 14:51Speaker 2: your inbox very soon.
- 14:54Speaker 3: That's a piece of the Golden Bachelor that I'm excited
- 14:56Speaker 3: to hear about as it continues and as these people
- 14:59Speaker 3: come out public is if they are getting the DMS
- 15:02Speaker 3: now and if they are going to get back out
- 15:04Speaker 3: in the dating world because of this show, it's going
- 15:06Speaker 3: to be very interesting. Well headline here, that's interesting because
- 15:11Speaker 3: it happened in twenty eighteen, but the headline is this
- 15:14Speaker 3: how former Bachelor Sean Lowe saved infant son's life.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, so it is interesting that it's coming out now.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I'm wondering if they're just getting out there talking about RSV.
- 15:27Speaker 2: We've talked about RSV here on the podcast, and you
- 15:31Speaker 2: guys can go to be aware of RSV dot com
- 15:33Speaker 2: to learn more, especially since it's becoming like six season
- 15:37Speaker 2: for kids. So this is what Sean and Catherine said recently.
- 15:41Speaker 2: She said there was a time she was working. I
- 15:43Speaker 2: don't know if she was out of town or she's
- 15:45Speaker 2: just like on set or something. And she said that
- 15:49Speaker 2: that he was alone with their five five month old
- 15:52Speaker 2: son at the time, Isaiah. They he was coughing and
- 15:56Speaker 2: just felt like there was like something like going on
- 15:58Speaker 2: in his chest, and he said that he goes to
- 16:02Speaker 2: the pediatrician and they go, you've got to go to
- 16:04Speaker 2: the er right now, and he wasn't sure what was
- 16:06Speaker 2: going on. This is this is from Catherine. She goes
- 16:09Speaker 2: and my husband don't even had his phone. He rushed
- 16:12Speaker 2: to the er and he used somebody else's phone to
- 16:14Speaker 2: call when he got there. And what had happened was
- 16:18Speaker 2: the baby was diagnosed with RSB, and because at five months,
- 16:23Speaker 2: the baby's immune system isn't fully developed, it needs time
- 16:27Speaker 2: to grow stronger. The RSB can actually lead to like
- 16:30Speaker 2: collapse lung sacks, severe breathing issues, coughing, wheezing, difficulty breathing, pneumonia,
- 16:36Speaker 2: all that stuff, bad things. And Catherine just said, like,
- 16:39Speaker 2: the whole thing is so dramatic traumatic. She looks back
- 16:43Speaker 2: and she can like she sees Isaiah's hooked up to
- 16:47Speaker 2: all these tubes, and she was like, that child was
- 16:50Speaker 2: just in my arms and breastfeeding, and now I can't
- 16:52Speaker 2: even touch him. And of course we know that Isaiah
- 16:55Speaker 2: has made a full recovery from that, but she just
- 16:58Speaker 2: said that just how having those debt fatherly instincts to
- 17:02Speaker 2: take them right to the doctor and then to just
- 17:03Speaker 2: run to the er is She's very, very thankful for it.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a good story and one you know, during
- 17:11Speaker 3: as we intern into the winter time, parents should just
- 17:13Speaker 3: be aware of. Okay, it's kind of that respiratory issue
- 17:17Speaker 3: and that cough. It is not something just to push off. Well,
- 17:21Speaker 3: speaking of kids, just like every newly married couple, the
- 17:26Speaker 3: first question publicly that everybody asks them is what's your
- 17:30Speaker 3: plans for a baby?
- 17:32Speaker 2: I feel bad for them, like they're like two months
- 17:34Speaker 2: off their wedding.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Goodness gracious. Bachelor in Paradise is Dylan Barber and Hannah
- 17:49Speaker 3: Godwin reveal when they plan on having kids.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, well, they're both so young, they're both still in
- 17:54Speaker 2: their twenties. So their answer is five years from now,
- 17:57Speaker 2: within five years, that is the goal. They say that
- 18:01Speaker 2: right now they are really just going to use up
- 18:05Speaker 2: the time to be travelers. They were even thinking about
- 18:10Speaker 2: living in Europe for a while, like maybe not full time,
- 18:14Speaker 2: but like a summer or two months here or there.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I feel like I felt like this early on. Whenever
- 18:19Speaker 3: Duode ask us, I'd just be like, I'm not playing
- 18:20Speaker 3: on having kids. Like so people stop asking and.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Turn But no, Ben, that's that's wrong for you, because
- 18:28Speaker 2: it's just wrong for you, because like you're born to
- 18:30Speaker 2: be a father. So then I would I would inquire
- 18:34Speaker 2: further and be like, but but that, what do you mean?
- 18:36Speaker 3: That is maybe right?
- 18:38Speaker 2: You are both you two are both very much meant
- 18:41Speaker 2: to be parents, so this is wrong and I must
- 18:43Speaker 2: get to the bottom of it.
- 18:45Speaker 3: No, I would have been like it it's inappropriate for
- 18:47Speaker 3: you to ask me, and that's what and I would
- 18:49Speaker 3: have thrown it back on every single person that did
- 18:52Speaker 3: and then nobody would ever want to talk to me
- 18:53Speaker 3: again and I would ruin everything. But that's okay. Yeah,
- 18:57Speaker 3: I don't know, but it is.
- 18:59Speaker 2: It is pretty outrageous that it happens so immediately after
- 19:02Speaker 2: the wedding, like please, Phily was at least a year.
- 19:05Speaker 3: I mean it happened like two days later. We did
- 19:07Speaker 3: an interview and they're like, when do you think about
- 19:09Speaker 3: having kids?
- 19:11Speaker 2: What geez? I would have like, yeah, no, I the
- 19:16Speaker 2: time of being newly married is one to treasure the
- 19:21Speaker 2: two of you. If that's I guess, so you planned
- 19:24Speaker 2: but that was my style.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, uh, some people are expecting and has planned
- 19:32Speaker 3: on having babies, and the very next headline is is
- 19:35Speaker 3: about that Bachelor's Hayley Ferguson is pregnant expecting first baby
- 19:40Speaker 3: with husband. This is super exciting for the former Bachelor contestant,
- 19:46Speaker 3: who happened to also be on the same season I was.
- 19:51Speaker 2: That's so sweet that you say, like the same season
- 19:53Speaker 2: you were, as if, like you weren't the bachelor, like
- 19:55Speaker 2: my season, you don't call it my season. That's very sweet.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Then it was all it wasn't about me, all right.
- 20:04Speaker 2: So we're so excited for Haley. She's been trying for
- 20:07Speaker 2: a while with her son Ula. It has been about
- 20:10Speaker 2: it's been over a year that they've been trying, and
- 20:14Speaker 2: oh my gosh, we're just so happy for them because
- 20:17Speaker 2: she's watched Emily be pregnant and with a twin who's pregnant,
- 20:22Speaker 2: and you guys are both married within the same time frame.
- 20:25Speaker 2: It's just like, I can't imagine what she had to
- 20:28Speaker 2: go through being like, are you guys trying?
- 20:30Speaker 3: Do you want one?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Did you want the kids to grow up together? And
- 20:32Speaker 2: it's like she's like, yes, I've been trying. We've been
- 20:34Speaker 2: basically trying like a long side of each other. And
- 20:38Speaker 2: Emily got pregnant first, and she now has a baby
- 20:41Speaker 2: who I think is like, I don't know, over three
- 20:44Speaker 2: months old. I know that, And now we get to
- 20:47Speaker 2: say that Haley is she's pregnant and it had happened
- 20:51Speaker 2: via IVF. It did take them a while, so they
- 20:54Speaker 2: went through IUI first, which is usually recommended, and then
- 20:58Speaker 2: that didn't work, so then they went right and she
- 21:01Speaker 2: also had a poll up removed from her uterus, so
- 21:03Speaker 2: she's gone through a bit and we're just so happy
- 21:06Speaker 2: for her, and she was very considerate in her Instagram reveal.
- 21:10Speaker 2: It's really cute. It's a very cute reveal. The two
- 21:12Speaker 2: of them are sitting in a cafe and they're reading
- 21:14Speaker 2: a newspaper. It looks like an old school like photograph,
- 21:17Speaker 2: and the headline says, baby Paul on the Way. I
- 21:22Speaker 2: hope I'm saying their name their last name correctly, Pauve
- 21:25Speaker 2: on the Way. And she says it's with extremely heavy
- 21:27Speaker 2: hearts and tons of joy that Ula and I can
- 21:30Speaker 2: officially share our exciting news. It's also important for me
- 21:33Speaker 2: to recognize that, even though I'm so happy to share this,
- 21:36Speaker 2: part of me aches for anyone who sees this and
- 21:38Speaker 2: feels pained. I know that feeling so well, I've shared
- 21:42Speaker 2: my story and I've been able to build a beautiful,
- 21:45Speaker 2: strong community of people also struggling with infertility. Please know
- 21:48Speaker 2: that I understand if you need to step away from
- 21:50Speaker 2: my page during this period and my heart is with you.
- 21:54Speaker 3: It is exciting for the two of them. I am
- 21:57Speaker 3: personally very excited to see Haley mom. Emily obviously already
- 22:02Speaker 3: is a mother. I have always had a question about
- 22:04Speaker 3: Haley and Emily though, since we did The Bachelor back
- 22:09Speaker 3: then they only ate like chicken nuggets and French fries,
- 22:14Speaker 3: and I just wonder if that's still a thing.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I think predominantly yes, but I do think their palette
- 22:18Speaker 2: has grown.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Okay, that's just this has been something I'm curious about.
- 22:23Speaker 3: And just a quick edit there, Ula is her husband,
- 22:26Speaker 3: not her son. Actually said son, Ula, but it's her husband.
- 22:30Speaker 3: So if anybody's confused, just.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Want so weird, how did that come out of my mouth?
- 22:35Speaker 3: I think you're probably reading about a baby, and who knows,
- 22:38Speaker 3: we're you know, minds are weird. I just wanted to
- 22:39Speaker 3: make sure everybody understood her husband my dad. Hey, it's
- 22:44Speaker 3: not we can cover it up. Hey. Anyways, this has
- 22:48Speaker 3: been the headlines this week. More exciting headlines to come.
- 22:52Speaker 3: We have some really great stuff coming your way. A
