  game. But some crazy outcomes this weekend and some things got exposed. Let's

  run through it real quick, and then we've actually got one play as we

  get ready for early week action. West Virginia Houston. If you didn't catch

  that game, it was a wild one that took place on Thursday night.

  Back and forth, back and forth. We thought West Virginia was gonna sneak

  out and win that game. It just could not close the door. Gave

  up a hell Mary there at the end of Houston. I mean, we

  thought we were gonna win and get the cover literally at the last minute.

  One thing we have seen in the Big Twelve is the teams that stepped up

  from the Group of five level into the power in the Big Twelve have not

  performed very well, which is saying something considering the Big Twelve is really not

  good this season. So we'll be looking into that a little bit deeper as

  we start digging into the lines for this weekend Notre Dame in sc Apparently Notre

  Dame did not have any problem playing eight games in a row. Is.

  Their defense absolutely destroyed USC. USC's offense looked completely out of sorts. It

  almost looks like backyard football at this point. And I know Caleb Williams gets

  all the Pat Mahomes comparisons, and I think he's a fantastic player, obviously

  one of the best in the country, but that offense just looked out of

  sorts all day long. The offensive line just couldn't get things done, and

  USC is headed into a gauntlet of a schedule as they start rolling into the
• 1:26
  back of the meat of the PAC twelve schedule there. So I wouldn't be

  surprised if we don't see them catch one or two other losses along the way,

  as I think people are going to get a template for what you can

  see from this Notre Dame game that was here. Colorado State Boise probably didn't

  watch this one, but man was it awesome. Colorado State ended up coming

  back and winning this one at the very end on a hill Mary to tie

  the game up, which they had to get an onside kick twice just to

  get in the game so they could get to that spot. Fantastic game.

  that were fucking wild, Colorado and Stanford, Colorado is must see TV.

  They're rolling Stanford at halftime, and most of you probably haven't watched a lot

  of Stanford football. Stanford's changed. They're not running the power game that they

  did under Harbaugh and Shaw as much. They've got some tempo. They're flinging

  it around. They're fun to watch. Might be a team we could sneak

  getting shut out at halftime. Stanford then chans to score thirty six unanswered points,

  and then Colorado scores one more. They go into overtime. Stanford ends

  up winning the game in the second or third overtime. I can't remember what

  it is college football playoff. I mean, overtime rules are terrible, and

  how they've got that whole thing set up. Let's hear it for the Mountain

  West air Force UNLV, two teams that are removing their way. UNLV's been

  bowling I think one time in the last twenty years. They are well on

  their way to achieving that goal again. This year. Team looks really good.

  Overlooked this team as you're starting to dig into the Mountain West schedule and

  Air Force ranked for the first time in what I can tell you forever.

  This is a solid team. They didn't get to cover this week again against

  Wyoming when they played in Colorado Springs, but they looked good and that Wyoming

  team is not there for real. I mean, they're gonna get some more

  wins on this one. But the Air Force has got the Navy game this
• 3:20
  week with first Commander Commander's Trophy game for them. We'll probably dig more into

  that one as we get into the week. Oregon in Washington one hundred percent

  delivered and we may see a rematch of this one when those tea teams meet

  up again in the Big twelve or the Pac twelve Championship game. Washington just

  looks great. Michael Pennix, things didn't always go the way he wanted it

  to, but he kept his composure. That place was rocking on Saturday,

  and only thing that sucked were Oregon's uniforms. They were awful. Put the

  splatter paint away. This isn't children's play. These are grown men out there

  we're trying to watch play football. Pennix has obviously got to be the leader

  in the clubhouse when it comes to the Heisman Trophy. If you're looking to

  have a Washington National Championship ticket, the odds really came down from two weeks

  ago. You could still get it at twenty five to one. It was

  an eight to one this morning as we finished that one up. Louisville and

  didn't get and then Louisville comes in after upsetting Notre Dame and really looked good

  in that game and was physical, goes on the road to sleepy Pittsburgh and

  what do they do. Wamp wamp Land egg wasn't good to turn out for

  them. Pitt gets the win. Louisville's gonna have to figure out a way

  to bounce back after the high that they were on and then you NC and

  Miami. This one started out okay and Miami just is out of sorts.

  North Carolina looked good on both sides of the ball. If it wasn't for

  Estrepo, I don't know who Tyler van Dimes would be chunking the right to

  Streppo's awesome if you get a chance to watch him play fun slot receiver.

  They move him all over the field and he's really the biggest weapon that they've

  got. Van Dims looked pretty good. But that Mario christoball team, I

  just see some chinks in the armor there. Man. It'll be interesting to

  see if they're able to bounce back after two losses and keep this thing on

  There's three games on Tuesday, two games on Wednesday, in a couple of

  games on Thursday. The game I want to highlight when we start looking at

  this one, the very first one is the you're gonna laugh at this one

  is the UTEP New Mexico State game. New Mexico State will be traveling down

  from Los Cruises to play this game in l pass hole and get this one

  going. These teams are rivals, they're right next to each other. They
• 5:35
  play quite a bit. UTEP won the game last year. UTEP got a
• 5:40
  big win against FIU last weekend, which was surprising because I kind of thought
• 5:44
  this UTEP team was quitting on David Dimmel. New Mexico State travels in here.

  They're laying three points on the road. There's not a gigantic home field
• 5:51
  advantage at the Sun Bowl. Let's be honest here, And if you haven't

  watched New Mexico State play. Jerry Kills the coach, if you re he

  was the University of Minnesota, had some health issues, ended up at TCU

  for a little bit, took this New Mexico State job and has really revitalized

  this team. They play hard. They've got a quarterback named Pavia that you're

  gonna love this kid. He's the one that took a piss on the New

  Mexico logo after their in state rival battle a couple of weeks ago. But

  diego Pavia. He's fun to watch. Their offense is a little bit more

  explosive, but defensively they're attacking, and I think this is a mismatch,

  This is a rivalry. Type game that you've got here. I think New

  Mexico State goes down to l pass hole and they get the win and the

  cover at minus three. Digging into a couple of other games, you've got
• 6:35
  Sam Houston and FIU. Sam is zero to five coming into this one.

  I actually liked this game before the line moved just a little bit to lean
• 6:43
  on the Sam Houston line. But we're gonna probably do a little bit more
• 6:46
  digging. FIU is a mess. I can't only imagine what it's gonna be
• 6:49
  like to go from the Miami area to land in Huntsville, Texas when they
• 6:55
  come into that game. Huntsville's about forty five minutes north of Houston if you
• 6:58
  hadn't been there before, But it'll be a weird spot for FIU to come

  in. And Sam has looked better. The beginning of the season, they
• 7:04
  were awful, but this team looks like they haven't given up their improving.

  You know that coach has been there with them for Cleeger I think his name.

  He's been there forever. He's won a couple of natties at the lower

  level. I think he's got over two hundred wins in his career. Actually,

  but I look for Sam to bounce back here. Not an official play

  yet with it five and a half. It's hard to lay five and a

  half on a team that hasn't won a game yet. But I definitely think

  this is a shot where they could get one. So we'll dog further in.

  If we like it, we'll put something out on it. Otherwise we'll

  go from there. And like I said, there's full seleight of Tuesday night

  games. Thursday night game the one we're kind of leaning on currently, but

  we haven't made a move on it, but see if can get a line

  move is James Madison will be traveling to Marshall, so rematch from last year's

  game. Marshall won this game last year, but James Madison just looks like

  a wagon. They've been getting it done weekend week out. This is by

  far the best team that's moved from the FCS level up to the FBS level.

  You can tell this program was ready when they made the move. We

  like what we're getting out of them. If we can snatch a three,
