- 0:11[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome in, suitors on the side, Host Game Podcast.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_02]: Here, a little bit different, vibe in the background, very spooky for Halloween because it was a house of fours that Gailwood family opened along the world of stadium.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_02]: The suitors for the second time in three years would run off the field, but it's not to try to gave Cox 42, 25, and a game that wasn't anywhere near back.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's Ryan Chapman here.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_02]: We got the whole crew with its Carsonfield, Ryan, Avery, Brady, Tramp them.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: What a disaster that was.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: to go play by play or drive by drive.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_02]: He was over at halftime, 28-10, 8-Certary, was done with the Norris Tyler's drop.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: His mask is second.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: Touched down the setting on the yard of the eating kids' day.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: Ryan, let's just start here.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: Bad performance.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: We did see a different version of Brett Metables who it seemed was just as enraged as the fans that were here to start and then Understandably filed out pretty quick.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean we heard him say pissed several times Several other I think embarrassed it was a word that kept coming up and yeah, it was a different vibe in the post game And we've seen a lot of these this year as the Oklahoma's alternated wins and losses throughout the season
- 1:26[SPEAKER_03]: But this was different tonight, and it was all around.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think the frustration is Because not only was the offense bad, and it was bad tonight, but the defense was bad as well And they weren't able to contain manure sellers
- 1:41[SPEAKER_03]: he was able to do pretty much whatever he wanted against the sooner's defensive came in really good, 11th in the country and total defense.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_03]: But that's a side that Brent Metables hangs his hat on, and it wasn't just, hey, you could circle this one thing.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_03]: It was every level, every element, tackling coverage, positioning, outside of effort, I would say, everything defensively went wrong.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_03]: and then the offends was just a complete disaster until the game was well out of hand and it didn't matter.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Brady, Oklahoma's basically outgame 300-ish to 71 in the first half.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't take very long.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: It started in the student section.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: It certainly sounded like, and you guys were from the field, that it quickly made it to the way around, certainly the north end zone, the fire, our buckle chance.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: It was the worst of geometry, without, like, as bad as we could play without the turnover, it was, I like, what weren't for the offense?
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: The penalty machine that they invented, basically?
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Fussouci, it's like,
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: is never called the law, just the rest of my work.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: Four times would have been five correct or I was, I mean, I believe it was yet not, I mean, to say it wasn't a business of course, but it lightly, and that was a fireable performance by everybody involved with this.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the reality is when the reality is, the people that are going to have their jobs are going to have their jobs, the people who's jobs are in question.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: We'll find out the next handful of hours.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: But,
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: just terrible, just a terrible performance.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: When you're talking about the total offense, that's nearly being outclassed by your penalty yardage, like you said, just awful.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: They couldn't execute anything.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, guys, we've seen this over the last few weeks where the offense scene has seemed to kind of grow and grow and get better and better to get a little bit more consistent, but in that entire time.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Then our buckles had to like throw training wheels out there for geometry to acclimate him into these games.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: You know, for the most part, Texas Kentucky, Mississippi State, they've gotten away with it.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: They've been able to establish some kind of run game that they could rely upon, deep into the game, and it allows geometry to not feel like I have to make every single play.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they couldn't establish anything early on.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: They rarely had the ball.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, both teams had the ball three times.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: in the first quarter and it just seemed like I'll use somehow ahead of less but I mean guys this team can't do anything basic they can't do anything normal and I'm not going to excuse the defense they had invisible performance themselves as well.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: But they're humans.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to have a bad day at the office.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: The last time we had a great defense, you know, probably other than last year 2009 That brother-in-law's defense and Bob Street's was still the head coach.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: I mean that great defense went on the road to Lubbock and got 41 points on honor And they lost 41 and so even great defenses with Gerald McCoy can have a bad day at the office.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: This scene kind of like it, but
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Brimman will set it, they are not good enough of a team to overcome their neteness.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think as how he has set it, they can't overcome any bad football team.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: This was a game between two, four and three teams where the winner of this game was going to have a legitimate mission statement of we can play for something for the rest of the season.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: South Carolina continued to say that Oakland can't say anything now.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're playing right now to just not further embarrass themselves.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's again, it was two shades, two different chapters.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_02]: What I want to call it of kind of the same song.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_02]: The last time South Carolina was here.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: It was South Australia's final game.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_02]: The game was over within 18 minutes.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: It was the three turnovers.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, two of those went for a score.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the misery just got extended.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was going to say, Oklahoma extended that a little bit.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: You had Kip Lewis.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: He is the pick six Carson that was a result of Jake Krause, past rush, which came after Taylor Wine got banged up on a punk return or punk coverage as far as that goes.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: It did, we believe.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: Ty Kipp Lewis for the program record for career pick sixes he joins Zach Sanchez he joins Derek straight and he joined Billy Bowman Billy Bowman as well as we did have one moment from back in 1967 now as I would score it Bobby Stevens yeah Bobby Stevenson in 67 he had three pick sixes one of those came in the bowl game back then that was a separate
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: Technically, isn't counting.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it has to be three times three.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, of course.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: And that was like the only good thing that happened the first half is otherwise part of Oklahoma's offense being in that was compounded by the fact that the Nora Sellers and the South Carolina team started moving down the field and put it legitimate pressure on the offense.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: They could answer.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I really thought like Kip 6 was going to be the game to change her form of the defense.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think that when Norris would all the sudden struggle really badly.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: He'd get bad, but I didn't think.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: It would be as easy as it was on the first couple of drives or the game cocks You're right there.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: We're a whole lot of positives the kip six Ticks and they'll made a field goal, which after last week.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think you have to chalk that up to a positive just considering missing He did it.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: You made two field goal.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: Missed the on-site kick That was a step in the wrong direction
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: You want the one right way to wrap up that game right I mean the fourth order lasted two hours I mean anything's gonna happen.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean I asked you guys during the game real quick.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry Carson You're good.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I asked you guys during the game.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: This is the first time revenge rules is lost
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: a game is oh you say coach with a defensive score you guys correct to me and said LSU 24 Missouri 24 as well.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: Did you guys find out if this was the first time he's lost his head coach by winning the turnover battle?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh well we got those stats for you.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_02]: Three nothing.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh go on to the turnover battle.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: Ryan Aver was on the case here.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: I've got good news and I know that's some of the little Sarah so we're not going back to like
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: 1998, but as every stat was, which by the way, that's the last time where you lost through straight home games, that's on the tail of the console list.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_02]: It was back to 2021, too, though, the season where everything, basically, went back to 1998.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: It was a turnover battle victory in Lubbock, Oklahoma raced out to start that game, and then it was somehow tied by halftime, because, you know, head coach, do it head coach things.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_02]: And then the only trip that Oklahoma had the Morgan town,
- 7:58[SPEAKER_02]: where the mountaineers, as members of the Big 12 conference beat Oklahoma, that was Brett Bettables, who continues to offer embarrassing after embarrassing showing years that I've coached.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: But it happened twice in 2022 for a terrible OE defense.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: This is a really good OE defense that played terribly today, but yeah, I had kind of told Abraham this, Brett Bettables was not going to be able to come in and in his first sentence or to talk about the turnover battle because they kicked out comments, but that and that was the only thing that they kicked their button.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: outside of undisciplined play penalties and big bad at football.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if you would have written down a o'clock, it was going to get when the turn of a battle 3-0 nothing, they're going to get a kick six from a kit Lewis to set that record or tie that record that we talked about.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_03]: You'd probably be like, hey, they, it's probably going to work.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_03]: Fairly quiet.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: Why didn't they turn the football over today?
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: You want to know why?
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's because they can't do anything.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: They can't ask Germans to your team, isn't it?
- 9:04[SPEAKER_03]: But also, Germans here got really lucky, especially in the fourth quarter, even with South Carolina's backups out there, there were a couple of times where he either put the ball in danger, well, three times, and I can think of, where either puts the ball in danger, or it gets called a turnover, and then gets overturned, or,
- 9:22[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's upheld that there wasn't a turnover after review.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_03]: So he was living on dangerous time even in the fourth quarter when they had virtually all of their offensive production cars in your turn and say this team.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_02]: This is the Acute.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: This is kind of incredible car.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: So if I had to say, all things we had said, if I had told you that they rushed about 31 times for 115 yards, the geometry of 26 to 43 for 24 or two scores, that takes me to head a couple of field goals and they want to turn up around on three and nothing.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: We would be talking about what?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: I had to say, like, big window.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm comfortable when, baby.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: I probably say, like, 27, 20.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I was gonna say, it's 22, 25, right?
- 10:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_02]: And it's somehow,
- 10:07[SPEAKER_02]: All that came in garbage time, but what even is that close for the side?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of bi-boggling.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah, I mean, the stats are very misleading just seeing how many yards mature through for a late.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like Brady said, they really were handcuffing in because he did look so inept early in the game.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: He was missing his guys.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's very hesitant, that might be a generous word with his leg.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: Kennedy is what, Ben Arbuckle kept saying, Kennedy over and over again from a tier display.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, it was, it was just not a good day.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen a lot of good days from John, but here's what he's been there.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: Even though he didn't have those backbreaking turnovers, the defensive touchdowns, he almost did.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't have those, but it was just about as bad as any game that he's playing.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: It was fascinating because Brink Minibles, I thought that the Kentucky Post game we talked about this was about the most tone-damped by Bird Brink Minibles in his Tabitoko Homa, it could really grow things like that.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: He basically came in and it's like, I'm paper, I'm not going to mince words, that was embarrassing.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing good from that, that kind of stuff.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_02]: He was asked about a couple of things.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: First off, let's start with Binarbuckle.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: uh... jumping brink and also asked about binar buckle status as you can consider coaching changes brink did the quick i'm not talking about any of that you didn't say i'm not considering it you just said yeah i'm not going to talk about any of that ever was a four-ton-one play on the goal line were ok on the get stuff the last time we'll see binar buckle piled play here
- 11:32[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if Brent Vennables is going to pull the trigger right now, but I think what tonight is put away any notion that Ben Arbor can be the office for an Air Force team
- 11:50[SPEAKER_03]: You know, for Oklahoma it makes sense.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_03]: I think to do it now when you get a Head's up on who your ultimate guy is going to be too.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_03]: You've got Kevin Wilson on staff Then you feel like you can trust it to do that kind of a role and you've got other guys You can you know fill in the gaps of what Ben our buckle does but it's just not working and it's not all been our buckle's fault I don't even know that it's mostly been our buckle's fault
- 12:16[SPEAKER_03]: But today, the game plan, and I was really high on the game plan for Mississippi State.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was really good.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_03]: Today the game plan was uninspired from the jump.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_03]: I think the first play was a little swing past Isaiah Centennial on the right.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: And it was just a lot of that where you felt like they were maybe trying to get John material comfortable to some of the stuff that Brady was talking about earlier.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: and it just never quite clicked and you could feel the frustration in the stadium, Brady and Carson, I'm sure y'all could feel it more than we could, but you could feel the frustration bubbling among the fanbase and then by halftime, it had switched to apathy.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_03]: as, you know, people leave to enjoy their Halloween.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: So it was just, like I said, I think tonight, it reached a point of inevitability.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_03]: You know, all the good stuff that came from last week is sort of washed away and well forgotten about because that, this was that bad.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if this program is going to have a pound of flesh to give, it's been our bubble.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand the fans wanting to
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: You've rid of them at the same time.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: In the short term, that might make people feel better.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: You might see something different on offense.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: I would assume in that, and that instance, Kevin Wilson would be the interim offensive coordinator with his experience and his relationship with preventables.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: But once we get to the off-season, which seems like an eternity for me out, because this team has to play an entire month of football.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yay!
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: On the road in the swamp, at Columbia, you get to Missouri with their defense and then, of course, turn dead.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: Shameless, gonna come down here and do.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: Probably with the Nora Sellers did, unless,
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: And they're going to look awesome.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: So you drop a hold on.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: Future Dolphins quarterback and Laura Sellers, have you seen enough tonight, Brady, to put the future of your franchise?
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: Don't put the league wheelist down like that.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now, now, at the same time, like we're going to have times for the conversations in the off season about the common thread here, because breadmaning rules is more than likely going to go into an off season, and hire his third offensive coordinator without winning a conference championship without playing for a conference championship
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, without winning a national championship, how you're able to do that at a place like the University of Oklahoma, which is a blue blood, which has won a lot of games, which has been on the big stage for so long.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: You can count before brim mills was the head coach.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: You can count on one hand since the 40s.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: How many truly bad seasons?
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: Not bad by OU fans standards, but how many truly bad seasons has this program had you to be able to count on one hand?
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like with how this team is playing,
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have to head count up two hands because Britain will's 22, 24, seems like it's going to be that way in 26 unless serious change happens.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, when you have a coordinator list of Ted Roof, Zach Alley, yourself, Jeff Levy,
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: Suffoltrow, now Ben Arpok, I mean, do you get the chance to give that guy to you to hire one more coordinator, Carson?
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: You just gotta do it.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: You just gotta do it.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: Just like, just like you, let's say, let's do it all after 23.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_03]: You got to do Ted Roof and Zach Allen.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_03]: because we all know the coordinate.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but he's still, he hired those guys.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: He brought them on staff.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: And we know that Ted Ruffish has killed it.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_02]: And Zach, Zach Ali, I mean, what an offensive mind.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: He is West Virginia.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: Socks.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: They might be the only thing we're looking at.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_03]: They have a quarterback that can do some shooting before.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: So, got that stuff going.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, and it's pretty said.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's very simple of when you are down 26, and you can send your fuel, you're not there.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: They're cut it technically, it's re-sported.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: You just have to do it.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's what the analytics card says, Carson, you have to do it.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: That was mind boggling.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: Not that I think it would have made a difference in the grand scheme of things, but you're down by as much as you are.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you want to get your kicker some more confidence, but that's not the situation he made one earlier in the game.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's probably a long shot to convert, because what was it like 12, 13 yards to convert there?
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't even there.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't the easy play, but you have to do it to have a chance even even if the number of scores needed doesn't change.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: That was my mind boggling over a lot of mind boggling things from this game, and seeing them get at least within a range
- 16:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, if you're going to try the onsite kick there at the end, right, why wouldn't you go for it in that situation?
- 16:47[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's why.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's why.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_03]: The first one, though.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_03]: So you got touched.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: Any conference?
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: When things get in their ass pick, can we get a rolling running clock or that?
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: How long did the fourth quarter last Earth Minutes-wise?
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what?
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: Too long.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: So, Oklahoma's offense, what they had, 300 Summon Yards, a total offense, that seems cool.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't, because they had 245 of them in the fourth quarter, from the game was well over.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the game was basically over half time when South Carolina scores that touchdown.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: right before half and I mean, going from a week where, I mean, yeah, without Comerio Taylor, Mississippi State's offense is nowhere near what they're capable of, but it's still Jeff Levy, still Jeff Levy offense on the road.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, help them to 1 of 11 on 3rd down to a 5 on 4th down, you like those.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: percentage is there for the most part.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then, I mean, I stopped keeping track guys, South Carolina was converting 66.7% of their third-ounce, finished 8 of 14 for the whole game.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I stopped keeping track and been way through the third quarter when the game was well enhanced in South Carolina.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: I was just able to do whatever they wanted to do on every single crucial down.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: And again, like the defense, their humans, they're going to have bad day.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: Seems
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: seen guys that are just bouncing off the ball carriers, like sure tapers, like the one behind you can't lose just missing tackles.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: And there's no ourselves big, like we get it.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: But this is a team that curled him and contained him and brought him to the ground a lot last year.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: And that was a different South Carolina team.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: different mentality that they were playing with the options of line that was much better tonight than they did.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: So you can build an option for line to the portal.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: So everyone else can do it.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: But the best offensive line coach in the country can do it.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: With with the NFL front office.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: to evaluate all that stuff as well, a great job by everyone involved ever.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned the game plan.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: I wish I could agree or disagree.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what the game plan was because Oklahoma couldn't line up.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: The legal formations out the ass you had fall starts all that stuff.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_02]: But what I can tell you is down 2810.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oklahoma gets the football.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: Tom Green and I were joking.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: Up until South Carolina is zip down the field that oh you need it a really really long drive so they could technically get that score right for half time into the middle eight.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: They did do that, unfortunately they immediately let, you know, a 30-yard run by the Lord Seller set up a touchdown drive.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: But nothing says inspired football like you come out of the locker room, you're ready to rock and roll, you need to get back in this
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: What happens next?
- 19:31[SPEAKER_02]: Zero yard completion to many choice.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: And then Ben Arbuckle actually dials up what seemed to be an okay play.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was McKinsey Ali in on the OU side line.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: Comes out of his break, has green grass, should have been an easy first down, except for a geometry just holds on to the football, holds on to the football looks where I look around and eats a sack.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, that to me was the point that I and my head was like, and the offensive court air position is officially vacated Oklahoma.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: Here is where I think, again, this is a staff wide failure on two things.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_02]: First up, how flat they came out Carson, Brett Binnettles is not in their drawing up game plans or I hope not to go to the offense, but he's supposed to be the big motivator stuff like that.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: And this goes back to like Lincoln's teams, late stage Bob teams, they'd come out and
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: You're in job to match that, idiots.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: You play 12 games all year long.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: You had another game where a geometry, been our buckle, they come out and talk about how flat they were, offensively, not good.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_02]: And then on the back side of it, there were conversations, both Brett Vittables, and then our buckle said there were conversations about maybe going to win new power or going to both Bentley and the fourth quarter of the more so is this out of the game, both of them said, but yeah, but then they started moving the football didn't make a lot of sense there.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_02]: What are you guys looking at?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: If I'm preventable, it's been our buckles not here next year, but I might want to know what Bob Anthony has a little bit when you're going to get South Carolina.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: So I, that was the, there's been a lot of dumb lies that have been said at the podium by the coaching staff.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: That to me, sadder like the truth, and I thought that was also just like, to maybe you don't want to put what you've got to do.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_02]: To not just see like, okay, Bob, Beth, where you've had eight weeks of in camp, in season practice, just to see what he's got in a no-pressure situation, seems more on it to me.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the first of those two points that you brought up about how uninspired they looked at times.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: That is the first time that I've seen them, so type in cover of them, seemingly quit mid-game.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: Once like you said, third quarter of a Norris hits that debob, beautiful bass, all the wind, all the momentum was gone, the wind was out of the sails.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: You could tell the team had checked out at that point.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: And secondly, just backing off of what you said.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but here was completing some throws against the South Carolina backups.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, why don't you want to see with new Valorbo bit we go in?
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: Those guys have played since the Utah game, which is pretty remarkable to me that they wouldn't at least give them some reps. One considering how much material is struggled, and two like you said, knowing what you have for the future, because yes,
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: regardless of if with new Battle Bobin we if they have a lot of potential you're still probably going to get a quarterback in the portal after this season but you want to know what you have just going forward with a guy like with new Battle Bobin who has played much since being here played against Alabama, Mercer played a bunch of games at Mercer, Bobin we don't really rough against YouTube, has he developed since then who knows we don't know because we haven't seen him in action
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: So it really is puzzling that.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think that we're telling us the truth that they thought what's here was the auction.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's hitting his, hitting his guys looks good out there on the fourth quarter.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's truly puzzling.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that mean.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_03]: You know I don't even have the richer rule to like lean back on a why you wouldn't throw go a bit out there just roll them out there and see what you got and you know they're sort of just chasing ghosts out there trying to hope that something clicks with john material that is clearly past the point of clicking big picture wise guys go back to
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: because you pointed this out, I mean, him being toned up in the Kentucky Post game.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that probably was because the offense is what lost in the game, you know, playing Ryan Poe Jr., how the offense like could not run block, they could not protect Jon material that's sped him up, that made him feel like he had to make a place, and that's when Jon material makes his most catastrophic mistakes, when he feels like he has to be fake or may feel which he is not.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think Brent was very sure and how he should have felt after a game like this because the defense got cooked?
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: Cause his defense got cooked.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry guys, but
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: four and a half years of this.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: It just really seems like I don't want to be critical of the offense because I'm someone hands-offish on that side of the ball on Game Bay.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure if like Briminals is very involved during the week he's the head coach, I'm not stupid, but how he just never addresses the elephant in the room.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: Again, the defense got cooked and they got cooked by
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: very good quarterback at the Norse sellers who and Brennan even mentioned this too.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's really it's near impossible for guys to defend a receiver six seven seconds into the play.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that's how South Carolina got them.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: We did an E. K. A. G. J. Antibara away.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: We all these guys were just getting onto the Norse sellers and shaking off him.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: He was outrunning the past rush.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: They couldn't get home.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: He was able to make play.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes that's going to happen especially
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: It shouldn't have to snowball and then that's when brickmiddles is kind of like the pragmat the pragmatist the post game scene Like yeah, it was embarrassing was like, what was it embarrassing cuz you're unique got embarrassed?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think that, I think we've seen that he has this mindset to come in and kind of, at least, I don't always like the meeting, or obviously, but I think to us with the offense, he kind of uses kid gloves and then you get to, like you look at last year.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: He just talked about the great things like that, but then the second you got into the post game of the cultural playoff and the season was done, he's talking about the run game, the first time we talked to him in the spring, he labeled it as pathetic.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: that they got to instill this kick-off mentality, failed on all fronts.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_02]: But like he had no issue like calling display to spade once you were in hindsight and things like that.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that we might be looking at maybe a different problem of the same thing.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_02]: We did the armchair psychology staff for the Georgia game.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if maybe Brent Venables is trying to apply lessons that he learned that he feel like maybe he made mistakes and how he handled the jacks startled Michael Hawking's Jr. switching and switching back and things like that.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_02]: And right, right, right, otherwise again.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just a game.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's the correct decision to move away.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: And South Carolina game two years ago, I think it was the correct decision to move away.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that maybe Brent Venables was a little bit worried to do that in that Georgia game.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea what you're doing in the fourth quarter, LaNore sells this out of the game.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: South Carolina has said, this game is over.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: Jomitier is a big boy.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's coming there, he takes all the questions post game.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen him be, it doesn't lead to better play, but we've seen him be like the hard headed that you need to.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_03]: Dude, what you want out of a quarterback is going through that situation.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: You can see you don't want a quarterback.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: I would love, if you just told me, don't go to the game today, but we'll still pay you.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: I would love that.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I said you're done.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I don't think that if you walked over the geometry or when you're down, what was it?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_02]: Forty-two to thirteen at the time.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: And Pat about our shoulder pad and said, we don't have it today, we want to run bow out there.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: Both Bentley was not going to be under-dress and was not going to be in danger.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: That kind of thing.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_02]: It would have been the perfect time to go to Bowlet and be like, hey man, pressure soft.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_02]: Show us what you got, let it rip.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: And if you make mistakes, what's the worst is going to happen?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_02]: You're even more embarrassed here.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't know, it's- It's- It's like, let's just turn over back.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you might have to chat.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think that that goes in the round of play.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_02]: program mismanagement is maybe a little bit too harsh but like why would you not this seem like the spot to put your fresh thick because because I think it's a tough day you really come back good stuff trying to defense you got to you got to eat it loses the game don't beat it up let's go through the film and that's where you maybe you have the positive conversations on a Sunday I think on that film where he has some film to break down in the offices but it is program mismanagement even if you're going to get a poor
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: I understand why they stuck with John Material for, like you said, the Georgia game, especially with what they had coming up, but also you don't want to lose the team at that point.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_03]: You want to keep it invested.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_03]: The problem is right now, what does Bob Bentley got to be thinking?
- 27:31[SPEAKER_03]: when he's supposedly the guy at the future and they're not pulling the trigger to give him even garbage-time minutes.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_03]: And a game that was just a blowout and embarrassment, yes, they got within 17 points.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_03]: Forget that, that's not the reality of what this game was.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_03]: it just doesn't make any sense to me because it feels like if they're protecting short-term interests to sort of what we've been talking about earlier, we were talking about in our buckle, protecting short-term interests at the cost of the long-term interests of what's best for this program, with the best for this offense, even as it moves beyond them our buckle.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_03]: whether it's tomorrow or at the end of the season.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_02]: But in you contrast that Carson with, who had that interception in the end zone right at the end of the game?
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: We're going forward.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Kofor gets in the game.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: James Nesta continues to get to play snaps, despite the fact that every time I looked down on Saw 47, he was spun around running their own way.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: You've got youth on the defensive lot of things like that.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not talking about Jake Crowe because he's earned no snap.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, you look to the other side of the ball.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I understand Kofor back to different positions and everything else on the field,
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: But it also had no problem pull the plug in the fourth quarter on his defense, it just makes no sense.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I think that's one of the more if one of the only interesting things from this game getting to see guys like Marko Ford, a Braun Bower, whoever it may be.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome back to the Braun Bower by the way.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: We were glad to see the Braun Bower using a lot of special scenes early in the game too.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, yeah, it's exciting if there's any excitement to be generated from a game as disgusting as this one was.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: To see some of these new faces on defense, see some of them make plays, and I think a lot of people would like to see that with the offense.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_03]: Whether that's just respecting a Vaughan carry on.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, yes, fair, fair enough, but a lot of people would want to see Bob Bentley, like Ryan was saying, if he comes out and sucks, what's the worst that can happen?
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's a true freshman, you can blame it on that.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: This is a South Carolina team that even their backups are athletics, a lot of them are better in type of players, so worst that can happen is he sucks, doesn't play a good game.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, no worries, he did as well as the starting quarterback did anyway.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see a lot of harm in that, so it's again,
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: I should have said this at the beginning.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to sit here and say this game wasn't embarrassing.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: Has nothing to do with South Carolina.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: South Carolina is a good team.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, good team.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: This wasn't an embarrassing because you lose to this team in this manner.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: It was the way that they lost and every aspect of the law.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, South Carolina, good team.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: But going in this game, I just thought, like how I thought about them for the last two seasons, they had like a handful of individually talented players that even on defense, being the only two is for a cheap among them.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like a few of these guys can start for Oklahoma, but you take a bigger step back and you like maybe the collective of those talent compared to what's out here like it breaks the table and it's just, it just didn't matter, but still might be very well true, but their individual dudes just, I mean, come to Oklahoma over and over and over again and
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: You've got Florida, you've got them on the road, and you know they like to run the football.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: They just got embarrassed as well by Georgia and their big rivalry game.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna wanna re-establish themselves.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: In this deep, it's gonna have to flush this.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how they can because it was such a pivotal moment for this season, because like I said, both teams four and three coming in here thinking,
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: We win, got a legitimate chance to play for something at the end of the year, and owe you has nothing to play for, except for pride, except for, let's avoid another four or five, six wins, season, disaster.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they could very well do that, but when you've got Florida, Ole Miss A&M, Missouri, it's just
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: with what they have on offense, with what they might have to do on staff.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's just not that much hope in Norman right now.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: Good news is, if you missed the SEC, like 2005, 2006, 2007, John Meteer is gonna take on Aaron Pileau this week.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's just upcoming weekend.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_02]: And a couple weeks after that more so read, I think might still be playing football by that one.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's gonna come in and they're gonna have a pillow via a get John Meteer.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: So that's actually a win loss, win loss, win loss, win loss, win loss, win loss, win loss.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: Get eight wins.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then go to the Texas pool.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to, I'm going to break him, arm force is full.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's not going to be tough.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I would take Birmingham because it's in a different state, other than Oklahoma or Texas.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm there all the time.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_02]: make that thing happen.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: Let's wrap up with a couple of these bits and bobs.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: Um, there are then moments of, uh, I made the joke on Twitter.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, don't worry.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_02]: There was some incremental growth there in the fourth quarter.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: Things like that.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody took that.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: That was in tune.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: And thank you to everyone for taking out the way it was in 10.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: Because I didn't have to come back to be like, guys, this, I was making fun of those.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_02]: Um, what's our concern level for the microphone to sue see performance today?
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's a guy that step back in last week and for a guy that had not really just even practiced since the second or third week of contact in fall camp.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: He was able to get in there a little bit a week ago, leading up to Mississippi State.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_02]: It was, it started out really bad.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: And then I think that for him, it spiraled.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: On one hand, he's still a sophomore.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think anyone's down the town of the guys on that list.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: I just, he was unplayable and if he wasn't like the suit, he wouldn't have been playing left-tapped at the end of the game.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: Well, on this team, they don't have any other left-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-tapped-
- 33:13[SPEAKER_00]: just him not being able to practice that long play of that long of course with the injury that he has.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean I've been told that times not really on OU side here like he might need to have a procedure either during the season just shut it down or he'll definitely have it in the off season.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: And so for him to put that performance on tape last week was really promising and then he comes back
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: against a very talented pass rush with South Carolina.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: I guess it kind of makes sense because again, this conference A is hard and B, you can't just, and I'm not saying this is an insulin, you can't just not play football for a month and a half, and then just throw it through yourself out there and everything works out.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have some bad days, you're going to have some bad plays, and
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, did he get worked a lot?
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, because I mean, I mean, I'm not your fan.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, he, it wasn't even Dylan Stewart.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: Either Dylan Stewart was more like that person.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: It was Addison and then Tomi, Tomi, what, Duraj, I hope you're saying that right.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: But he, with three tackles too, so one tackled for loss in one fashion.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: He was fantastic.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: All three of their main edge rushes were fantastic.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: Stewart, of course, got hurt.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: Festuci didn't even have to guard their toughest guy and he got worked the pre-snap.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: Little leaves were another thing.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say the first holding I think was on the fact that material held the ball for so long and then worked his way back.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: He has done that nearly 20 times and not even two years of football.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: John Teary has led to 20, bailing on the play, the office play has no idea where he's going.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: He has done that almost 20 times.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_03]: But there was another hole that was on him.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_03]: There was two false starts.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_03]: And then the illegal legal formation call, which was the decline one.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_03]: In my mind, the concern level is pretty high.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_03]: Because you can take a guy going out two weeks after, you know, missing as much time and getting the work by a guy like Dylan Stewart.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_03]: But like Carson said, it wasn't Dylan Stewart that was,
- 35:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know, eating against Michael Fassucine at night, it was some of those lesser guys, not that they're not really good too, but the penalties, the unforestuff, is what's really concerning.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_03]: Michael Fassucine, as much as we talked about Brent Benables and his postgame demeanor, Michael Fassucine looked even more pissed when we were talking to him, and you could see his jaw
- 35:37[SPEAKER_03]: And just was not happy with his own performance.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_03]: And clearly, he's got all the talent in the world and that can turn around.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_03]: But I think there certainly is a high level of concern because that's the one area with his often.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_03]: You could circle and say, oh, there's some optimism there.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_03]: Going into this.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_03]: And that optimism on the left side of the line is particularly a tackle.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_03]: just straight it away.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: That dude's playing football on his own days and if he's he's so absolute.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I understand why he's anger because he knows that he's better than that.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: He's capable of more.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: And so I like that out of him at the same time.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: This is a guy coming into his second year under Bill Beanbow.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we've only seen a play two games fully, so it's, I mean, it's even unfair for me to say this, but based on what we've seen out of any peer-release out of Ryan Vogey, which also, this is not necessarily on him, because he's had to play out of position so that goes back to Bill B. Vove.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_00]: Bill B. Vove's not developed anybody.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Phasucy, Eddie here, Louie, Phasucy, these guys have just made it on their individual talent.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: My soul's the same.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we've seen, we saw that last year, and we thought, you pair that talent with the year of experience under their belt, with Bill Beanbows to be the best offensive line coach in the country, in an off season of emphasizing the run game, that should lead to my Phasucy's not getting worse.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_00]: That should lead to Ryan Voget not having to,
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, play everywhere, you have the step that you've built from high school that you've built from the portal.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_03]: It should be in a better spot, but whether it's sorry, the problem is they're missing so often in the portal that you're playing catch up and you can never catch up and you've got guys that haven't played earlier in out of position.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: things like that that uh... you make it much tougher to develop i mean it's just bad i mean no one's getting uh... developed on this offence uh... i mean ran down to showing up i've been carry on had a fantastic day can see a lean had a random touch out against michigan
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: Carry on put some great film on for I think someone tweeted this after you're in the game And I can't remember going in, but I'd love to credit them He put a lot of great film for whatever big club school's gonna come and get a next year I miss this would be safe for that man He's not fast enough.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think for general
- 37:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll see, we'll see as far as that goes.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_02]: I would like to spare, and we're not going to spend a lot of time on this, because we're not, you know, Paul Shepherd, you know, John Manhattan looked okay in the couple of carries.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_02]: I've got seven opportunities Carson.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not here to say that's something to build on, but for a staff that refuses to look at the freshman quarterback, maybe they can at least look at the freshman running back to try and find something.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I will say that's something to build on.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, I think it was 26 on seven carriers is what he finished with.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, not as sexy as that one, but I thought he had a burst.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it looked physical.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: We questioned, is this guy ever going to really pan out a couple weeks ago?
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know I did.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: And he looked really solid tonight.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: He looked like he was ready for the physicality of this league.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, kind of screen pass or two as well.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, I thought this was a big step in the right direction for him.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: Not a lot of people in the offense could say that, but I thought he was pretty solid.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, um, it's going to be a lot of sorting through this all week long.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_02]: You should head to the website, Oklahoma suitors on a side dot com.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oklahoma suitors on a side dot com always free.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: I worry about Brent and everything that he, the auntie had in post game, Avers already written about the defense and their, uh, horror show.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: Brady will have your PF grades.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have everything about how material that his game went, uh, what Oklahoma was unable to do with like the sushi and as far as pulling the trigger on.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_02]: quarterback change there at the end.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: And also, we'll know it's running from it.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_02]: Sunday, we're all going to be glued to our phones.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_02]: We're checking with everybody that we know over and over and over again to see if any staff changes as soon as we know anything, it'll be up for for Oklahoma Seniors on a side dot Kyle will be the place to be.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be back on the podcast next Wednesday, break it.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: Everything said from all the players on Wednesday night, Brett Bindables and whoever we talked with, it's been all of a con.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_02]: Tuesday, all that stuff per use up on the YouTube page job.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: We'll read it and we'll be back here Wednesday for the pod before I had a Florida for what'll be just a great trip.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: Let's close here.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_02]: There's going to be a lot of negativity.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: So Brady, can you say something nice?
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: Put up a football to close us out.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: Big one seven national championships and they're the one program in the SEC that Alabama can look at and say, yeah, where they have a series.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: A.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_03]: Where do you have anything nice?
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: No, because I was actually going to bring up something that we didn't talk about, which is Isaiah satania's numbers today, which we're not good.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: I thought they were positive, right?
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: I believe they mean, they mean, they were positive, and they were better than zero, but they were spreading the ball around my guy.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: They threw it out.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: I did carry on all in garbage time.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of acuperears, eight targets, four catches for what's that, eight targets, four catches.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: for 13 yards, and he had 19 yards after the kit.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_03]: He finished with 13 yards of 19, we're after the catch.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that would, so sorry.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, after we talk about Iván Carion and some of the other very minor blips, there's not a whole lot of positive talk about it.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_03]: You got anything?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_03]: They mean Texas.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: They mean Texas.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: I guess that's real positive.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have a crappy, you're at least being Texas.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, do that.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_02]: Do that.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_02]: Before we get out of here, though, I do want to tell you about our good friends over at Kester.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_02]: Dino, Brady.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm unprepared again because my phone's up there, which is not good.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: But head to our good friends over at Kester Dino, they're up in East Edmund, easy and easy out.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_02]: I know that this may seem trivial, but great parking, which in Edmund can sometimes be a little touch and go, but they're quick off the highway, it's a spot where if you need taking care of, they got you, and it's top-class spring.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they're right on 535, easy access, easy parking.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: You wouldn't send your starting line up out of the field without taking care of them.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_00]: Your teeth deserve the same treatment so go check out our friends at Kester Dental, and they will take good care of you.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty sure all of Oklahoma.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably going to want to go check their teeth out after getting their teeth kicked in.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: On the gnashing, not a gnashing.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then we're going to pour sugar and candy on it for Halloween.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: Happy Halloween, by the way.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to Brady's favorite day, where it's been our vocal column.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_03]: You know, pull out a crown.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_02]: shout out to our good friends over at Kesson.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_02]: We will be back despite the energy on this podcast right now.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to say to further our conversation about the disaster that is each made in a successful football season, but big thank you to Brady, to Amy, to Carson, play in a
- 42:11[SPEAKER_02]: but he's battling through.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_02]: He was only able to record this week right down here.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't do a two from a terrible end to October and he will be able to open up.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: But hey, we're ready to close the two.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not going to be.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's the other way to shake hands.
