- 0:01This idea of $44.00 silver, $50 silver, do you find it a little
- 0:07hard to believe? I understand.
- 0:10But guys, we got to remember something that's less than a
- 0:13double from where we are right now.
- 0:17And if we look back at history, and we will do that in this
- 0:19video, the idea of silver going from $2829 per oz to 50 and then
- 0:27even higher is not out of the question.
- 0:30The one thing that also is not out of the question is the fact
- 0:34how much we appreciate you. Yes, you, there's one you.
- 0:39It's a big deal. You've taken your time to join
- 0:41us here in the basement. Hey, welcome to the club.

- 0:57You're part of the group. Thank you for being here.
- 1:00Let's dive into what I think is a fascinating piece of an
- 1:05analytical work by Mike Mahari. And guys, when we're done with
- 1:09this, it's going to leave no doubt in your mind that we could
- 1:13absolutely, absolutely get the $50 silver and much higher.
- 1:18This was on silverseek.com. Great website.
- 1:22It says a silver teacup. Are you ready for a silver
- 1:25teacup, basement dwellers? But what does this have to do
- 1:28with $50 silver? You're going to find out real
- 1:31soon. This epic 45 year silver pattern
- 1:34could have traders drooling. Put your bibs on my fellow
- 1:40basement dwellers. Yes, sometimes we drool, he
- 1:44says. Gold's been been on quite a bull
- 1:46run this year, but silver has lagged.
- 1:48Very important thing for us to remember.
- 1:51We'll touch on that more later. The wide gold to silver ratio
- 1:55tells us that silver is historically underpriced
- 1:59compared to gold. And it's clear that the white
- 2:04metal isn't priced for the supply demand dynamics, right?
- 2:08Pointing out two important things, crazy gold to silver
- 2:12ratio and crazy supply demand Dynamics points out with a
- 2:16little over 50% of silver demand comes from industrial offtake.
- 2:22But at silver score, and I think a lot of us, do you agree, you
- 2:26know what put it in the comment section.
- 2:28Do you look at silver is more of an industrial metal, a monetary
- 2:34metal. I think we all agree that it's
- 2:36both, but which one do you think holds more weight?
- 2:39I'll tell you my answer. I think monetary, but that's
- 2:42just my opinion. I'd be curious to get a kind of
- 2:45an idea and for you guys to see what what your fellow basement
- 2:48dwellers think because he says at its core, silver is a
- 2:52monetary metal and it tends to generally track with gold over
- 2:58time. I'll be it in a more volatile
- 3:01manner. After I read this article, I was
- 3:04so pumped up because it's it's just we're headed to higher
- 3:09silver. My opinion, don't make any
- 3:11financial decisions based on anything I'm saying here.
- 3:13Don't decide to get engaged, adopt A puppy, buy silver
- 3:16futures contracts, do anything. I'm just giving you my truth.
- 3:20My and this to me points it out very clearly.
- 3:24What can the price chart tell us about silver?
- 3:27We've looked at this guy's right, probably 2 million * a
- 3:30secular cup and handle. But really we can't look look at
- 3:34it enough, right? Look at that cup and handle
- 3:38pattern. I mean like nothing we've seen
- 3:41before, but he points out some very interesting facts about
- 3:45this. It's a long term bullish
- 3:47pattern. OK.
- 3:49This cup and handle pattern has played out over an extremely
- 3:54long time frame. Have you heard?
- 3:56I've heard some people say it's like from a time frame
- 4:00perspective, the longest cup and handle in the history of the
- 4:04universe. Historically longer patterns
- 4:08portend. I really don't know what that
- 4:11word means, but I would say maybe predict bigger breakouts
- 4:15with a broader base signaling a bigger upside case.
- 4:19Let me go back to that. I was laughing because I'm, I'm,
- 4:21I'm kind of embarrassed. My vocabulary seems to be a bit
- 4:24limited. I do know what bifurcate means.
- 4:27OK, A longer pattern predicts bigger breakouts with a broader
- 4:33base, with me in a longer base signaling a bigger upside case.
- 4:38That kind of rhymes too. A bigger, bigger breakouts with
- 4:41a broader base signaling a bigger upside.
- 4:43We need to make a silver cup and handle song.
- 4:46Could one of you write that for me?
- 4:47I'll be glad to sing it. This isn't this is critical.
- 4:51Gold followed a similar long term pattern resolving with a
- 4:55breakout to new all time highs last year.
- 4:59I'm sorry gold followed a similar pattern.
- 5:02If that's I think I said silver resolving a breakout the new all
- 5:05time highs last year. And what did we know, right?
- 5:09Silver has lagged gold's performance, but that's actually
- 5:14like the most common of common occurrences.
- 5:18That's like what every silver and gold investor knows.
- 5:21Gold goes first, makes a big move, and then silver follows.
- 5:27Excuse me, if history is any indication.
- 5:31And guys, isn't history usually an indication, right?
- 5:34Silver may soon follow gold's lead.
- 5:38Thanks again to Mike Mahari for putting this together.
- 5:41I think this is probably one of the best silver.
- 5:43Do you guys agree? One of the best silver articles
- 5:45I've seen in a long, long time. Listen to this in red after
- 5:51gold's recent breakout. Above $2500 per oz Gold continue
- 5:56Gold's continued strength above that key level should act like a
- 6:01magnet to pull the silver towards the $50 level.
- 6:08All right, a magnet to pull silver towards 50.
- 6:11We know about the big cup and handle OK in green should it
- 6:14occur. Oh, come on, Mike.
- 6:16It's gonna occur, man. We're rooting for you, Mike.
- 6:19A decisive. We like Mike.
- 6:21A decisive break. Above $50 silver.
- 6:24Above $50 silver. What are you, a silver pumper?
- 6:29You know, I get all these emails about 2% say you're nothing but
- 6:34a silver pumper, You're, you're up to something, blah, blah.
- 6:37No, I just really believe this guy's OK.
- 6:40I really believe it. And you know what?
- 6:41I got a really mean comment yesterday from this guy saying
- 6:45you put out too much content and we're sick of your, your crazy
- 6:48predictions and blah, blah, blah.
- 6:50And you know what I said back to that guy?
- 6:51I said, you know what? You don't have to watch Ron's
- 6:54basement. Here's an idea, right?
- 6:56If you see a thumbnail with my ugly, my beautiful face on it,
- 7:00kind of a combination of Robert Redford, Justin Bieber and Oscar
- 7:04the Grouch, don't click on it. I'm sorry.
- 7:07I digress. Should it occur a decisive break
- 7:12above $50 silver. I don't force anybody to watch
- 7:16this. You guys are here because you we
- 7:17we like to come together and we like to talk about this stuff.
- 7:21I mean, you don't not like a Velcro anybody to their seat and
- 7:26force them to watch. All right, I'm done talking
- 7:28about that should it occur. Let's get back to $50 silver.
- 7:32A decisive break above $50 silver would complete an epic 45
- 7:39year cup and handle pattern and market technicians would then
- 7:43look for a slingshot. Move higher from there.
- 7:48Remember, that's that rubber band that I like to show you
- 7:50guys from time to time. Here, let me show you real
- 7:52quick. Let me say hi to you.
- 7:55Hi, Hi. Hi, basement dwellers.
- 7:58Right? This is the slingshot.
- 8:00This is gold. OK, this is silver.
- 8:04And even the colors represented, the gold price is stretched,
- 8:08stretched, stretched out, right. This is 8090 to one gold to
- 8:15silver ratio. When that when that starts to
- 8:19compress. Hold on, slingshot.
- 8:23OK, feel like I just worked out. Let's get back to the article.
- 8:32Oh, where is the article? Oh, no, hold on.
- 8:36What happened? Did I lose my article?
- 8:38All right, deep breath. There we go.
- 8:41All right, hold on guys, sorry for the OK slingshot move higher
- 8:47from there. Zooming into a five year chart,
- 8:49we can clearly see silver breaking out from its post
- 8:53pandemic consolidation wedge, right?
- 8:56There's the wedgie. We talked about that a lot,
- 8:59right? I mean, and silver broke out,
- 9:02which is good is staying above, right?
- 9:05We don't want to go below $26, but we're seeing a a solid move
- 9:11out of that area. Putting it all together, as the
- 9:15saying goes, history doesn't always repeat, but it often
- 9:18rhymes and it often does repeat. When we see these kinds of
- 9:21patterns emerge, one should sit up and take notice.
- 9:24Everybody sit up with me. Feels better to sit up.
- 9:26Have a sip of coffee as well. This is especially true when it
- 9:33coincides with fundamentals. So what he's saying is these
- 9:36charts are pointing toward $50 plus silver.
- 9:41But it's not just the charts. It's the fundamentals as well.
- 9:44OK. He talks about the gold to
- 9:45silver. Oh, this is interesting.
- 9:48The gold to silver ratios historically wide right now at
- 9:5187 to one. Yes, it'll take you 8790 ounces
- 9:55of silver to get just one little measly ounce of gold.
- 10:00I love gold, but I'm not going to trade 90 ounces of silver.
- 10:03Are you? I mean, really meaning OK, like
- 10:07he just said to buy an ounce of gold.
- 10:08To put that into perspective, the average in the modern era
- 10:14has been between 40 and 60. So typically in modern times,
- 10:20which we all live in, right, we live in an interesting times by
- 10:23dynamics, everything else. But nonetheless, during average
- 10:26modern times, the gold to silver ratio has been between 40 and 60
- 10:30to one. If we average that to 50 to one,
- 10:35what does that give us for what the silver price should be?
- 10:38It should take 50 ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold.
- 10:44That would be a 50 to one Gold to silver ratio, $50 silver a
- 10:51gold, a gold to silver ratio of 50 to one.
- 10:54In other words, from a historical perspective, silver
- 10:57is underpriced. Historically, the the ratios
- 11:01always returned to the mean and it's done so with a vengeance.
- 11:05Overshooting that means the ratio fell to 30 to one guys
- 11:10that would be above $80.00 silver, just so you know in
- 11:132011, oh, oh, oh, oh, this is great OK and below 20 to one in
- 11:191979, but let's just go to 2011 because most of us can remember
- 11:242011, all right, the gold to silver ratio hit 30.
- 11:28That would be above $80.00 per oz silver.
- 11:31Let's go. What a great Segway into this
- 11:35next segment because look what I got this morning, guys.
- 11:40Look what I got from one of you. Yes, I told you, right?
- 11:46Send me an e-mail, send me a text, whatever, leave a comment.
- 11:49This came from our friend David. He's a veterinarian, OK, Smart
- 11:53guy, lives down in Florida, right?
- 11:57He sent this to me in 2011. Like we just talked about when
- 12:01the when the gold to silver ratio got down to 30, OK, $27.00
- 12:07silver to $4850 silver just 13 years ago, $27.00 to $48.
- 12:14But it'll never do that. We're just, I'm just a silver
- 12:17pumper over a 12 week period. Look at this, wow.
- 12:24You know, I mean, guys, it happens.
- 12:26Repeat performance, if not by Christmas by next spring.
- 12:31Thank you, David, for sending that and for the great reminder,
- 12:35right, of the good times that we're in for.
- 12:37But there's more I want to talk to you about when it comes to
- 12:41what is going on in that. Remember what Mike Maharry
- 12:45stated, we've got a massive epic cup and handle in the silver
- 12:50market that shows that we could get the $50 silver and beyond,
- 12:55OK. But what makes it always so
- 12:59interesting is that gold already did it.
- 13:03OK, Gold broke out from its cup and handle we're at all time
- 13:06highs and gold. But are you considering the fact
- 13:11right that silver always lags gold?
- 13:15OK, so silver, it's not unusual that it's not broken out, but
- 13:19it's going to break out. It will break out.
- 13:22OK, No guarantees, no guarantee. I can't guarantee, but doesn't
- 13:26it feel like it? Then we consider the fundamental
- 13:28factors and then and then I also think that it's critical that
- 13:33when we look at the price of silver in foreign countries like
- 13:37Canada, Australia, India, Argentina, we talked about this
- 13:42yesterday in particular. Australia, excuse me, they've
- 13:50got a big cup and handle. It's either broken out or really
- 13:54near to breaking out. Sure, that's pricing silver and
- 13:57foreign currencies. But guys, guys, that doesn't
- 14:00matter. That will be more power, more
- 14:02magnet. People are sending me emails
- 14:04from Australia saying that the bullion is becoming more
- 14:08challenging. I'm not going to say it's gone
- 14:10or there's a shortage, but they're noticing stress in those
- 14:13markets as well. And what we know here in the
- 14:18United States when it comes to 90% silver, right?
- 14:21Our friend Coin Shop Chris, who by the way, has his own YouTube
- 14:25channel. Now you can go visit it at Coin
- 14:27Shop Chris. But Coin Shop Chris is the 90%
- 14:30silver guru. He's putting out warnings.
- 14:33He's he's, he's like, you know, sounding the alarm, right?
- 14:3890% silver. He is he, he says shortage,
- 14:42right? I'll say stress either way,
- 14:44whether you slice it or dice it, that is a sign of things to come
- 14:49domestically here in the United States.
- 14:52We know that in the West, right, ETF purchases of gold and silver
- 14:56are on the rise. OK, guys, it's happening and
- 15:00it's happening right now. This is some more fascinate,
- 15:04more fascinating data about how will silver, what do we have to
- 15:08expect? What does, what does previous
- 15:10data tell us about what we can expect for silver in the coming
- 15:14months? We'll run through this quickly,
- 15:17but first guys, let's go out and check on the gold.
- 15:21And we're going to talk about the CPI numbers, we're going to
- 15:23talk about stagflation. We're going to about silver
- 15:25going up 10 times in value. But let's run out to our friends
- 15:29at Pin Backs and check on the gold.
- 15:33Silver price. OK, Gold we're down 10.
- 15:36Silver we're down $0.17 per oz Gold Still above 2500 per oz
- 15:42silver. Taking a little bit of a hit.
- 15:43Boy, we've moved a lot today. I think we were as high as 29 at
- 15:48one point. We'll talk about the CPI
- 15:51numbers. It's really not worth us
- 15:53spending a lot of time on its water under the bridge at this
- 15:56point and it's really a bunch of BS.
- 15:58But nonetheless, I want to say thank you to channel sponsor
- 16:01Pembex. They make this live stream
- 16:04possible. They make videos possible.
- 16:07They make the channel possible. They make our basement dweller
- 16:10community possible. So if you decide that you want
- 16:13to buy yourself some silver, gold, or platinum, you're going
- 16:16to buy it online. Shop around.
- 16:18But please, just give Pembex a chance.
- 16:22Compare prices, OK? Compare what other customers say
- 16:27about their awesome experiences with Pembex, right?
- 16:32Realize what I say about Pembex. I just looked back my most
- 16:35recent purchase from Pembex. I bought some of those 2023
- 16:39silver Britannias with King Charles on them.
- 16:43I'll I'll vouch I've always had great experiences with Pembex
- 16:48and they've always got a great selection.
- 16:49And please, please, please if you ever decide to convert an
- 16:52IRA, take your time, talk to Pembex, compare what they can do
- 16:57for you to what these other companies that spend a lot of
- 17:01money on high paid celebrity endorsers and commercial time on
- 17:05the big cable networks. Compare what Pembex can do for
- 17:08you with what those companies. I think you will be shocked.
- 17:12Let's go take a look at you right now, basement dwellers.
- 17:16Oh, we're taking it on the chin. We talked about this yesterday.
- 17:19Today was going to be a volatile day for the markets.
- 17:22We talked about the fact that if the metals go down, that's not
- 17:25necessarily it's not the end of the world, right?
- 17:28It's OK. We need some consolidation.
- 17:31We're getting that right now. Everything's going to be OK.
- 17:34Trust me. Trust me guys, when it comes to
- 17:37the silver price and the gold price, OK, as we head into
- 17:42October, November, December, we're going to be putting some
- 17:45boots on the warehouse floor. It'll be time for us to buckle
- 17:49up buttercup, because we're going to hit $44.00 silver by
- 17:54Christmas. You watch?
- 17:55That's my prediction. Again, could be wrong.
- 17:58Don't make any financial decisions based upon my in depth
- 18:02analysis, which is right about 58.7% of the times.
- 18:06All right, let's take a look at this.
- 18:09This was interesting, very interesting. 4 quick charts
- 18:12we're going to run through from Kitco and our friend, our friend
- 18:18at Kitco, Ernest Hoffman. Silver's biggest gains and
- 18:22losses happen during the same months each year.
- 18:26Did you know that guys? OK, but the post C 19 period has
- 18:31bucked some trends. OK.
- 18:33This comes from Ernest Hoffman again at Kitco and he got this
- 18:41data from Investing Haven. And just one quick quote, quote,
- 18:44quote, quote before we go look at these charts.
- 18:46Silver like many other commodities exhibits seasonal
- 18:50patterns that investors can use. You can use this information,
- 18:54basement dwellers to inform their investment strategies,
- 18:59unless you're like me and you just buy silver like I have over
- 19:03the last 20 years and never sell any because it's a generational
- 19:08investment. But nonetheless, this is
- 19:11interesting. OK, this shows, first chart we
- 19:14got 4 to go through shows that from January through February,
- 19:18most years, this is 4, this is 4 years.
- 19:21The last four years of data that through January, through
- 19:24February, March, we usually have an upswing in the silver price,
- 19:28but then again a big upswing typically starting in June and
- 19:33going through the September, October time frame.
- 19:36But then after that kind of flat, OK, so this historical
- 19:40four year data says kind of flat is what we can be looking for
- 19:43through the end of the year. This is 30 years.
- 19:47Make sure I got you on the screen, which I do as you can
- 19:50see kind of hidden here. This is 30 years of data of the
- 19:55silver again. All right.
- 19:57January through April ish over the last 30 years has typically
- 20:02been a very strong period for the silver price room.
- 20:05Guys, will somebody remind me in January to buy a bunch of like
- 20:08futures contracts on silver, OK. But then you see a pullback
- 20:14right through June blah, blah, blah, then a big upswing again
- 20:18through August ish time frame, then usually a bit of a
- 20:21pullback, which is kind of what we got this year.
- 20:24But then guys, look at this again, right, 30 years of data
- 20:28show kind of flat. I mean, this is not that big of
- 20:31a move from a like an index of one O 4 down to A1O2, hardly any
- 20:37move like a 2% range over that September, October, November,
- 20:42December time frame. So that's historically we should
- 20:47be looking at some flatness. Now you know what I think,
- 20:50right? And this, this, this data
- 20:52doesn't mean that this is exactly what will happen.
- 20:56I believe we're in, we're in a unique situation this year with
- 20:59the bricks, with the, with the election coming up.
- 21:03It's going to be an interesting remainder of the year, an
- 21:06interesting remaining 3 1/2 months.
- 21:08OK, this is really interesting. This is this shows the
- 21:12percentage of months in which silver closed higher than it
- 21:16opened. So this is each and this is for
- 21:184-5 years while part of its four years, part of its five years
- 21:22because we're in October. So this September, I'm sorry,
- 21:26yeah, October, November, December and should be September
- 21:30data is 4 years data five years back then.
- 21:32But nonetheless this shows each month, right.
- 21:36And the percentage of each month that over the last four years,
- 21:41five years that the silver price closed higher, look at October,
- 21:45it is closed higher 100% of the time at the price of silver went
- 21:51up during the month of October, 100% of the time over the last
- 21:55four to five years, November, December.
- 21:57So look, you know that's kind of new data.
- 22:01April's a very good month, historically speaking, but let's
- 22:04look at the same data over what I believe would be a yeah, a
- 22:09longer period of time, same data.
- 22:11All right, then. Then silver go up or down during
- 22:14the month over the last 20 years.
- 22:17And again, October, 68% of the time over the last 20 years,
- 22:23this price of silver has gone up.
- 22:24September 40%, OK. But look at this trend from
- 22:30January through June. Typically a little down, but
- 22:34January and February are good months for silver, July good
- 22:39month for silver. And again, as we head into the
- 22:41end of the year here, it looks like based on 20 years of data,
- 22:45we got a pretty good shot at the at the silver price actually
- 22:49going up. OK, interesting.
- 22:52Thank you, Kitco. Thank you, Ernest.
- 22:56Losses are, yeah, seasonal, seasonal, seasonal, right.
- 23:00And the, and we are in a unique set of circumstances right now,
- 23:05right end of October, we have Brazil, Russia, India, China,
- 23:09South Africa, right, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, United Arab
- 23:16Emirates and a bunch of other countries meeting in Russia.
- 23:19The bricks. Have you heard of the bricks?
- 23:22You guys ever heard of this thing called the bricks?
- 23:24Yeah. OK.
- 23:25And they're talking about we got a big news report out of the
- 23:27task news agency, the Russian news agency, hidden over the
- 23:31weekend. And very few people are talking
- 23:33about it. Our friend Chris Marcus at
- 23:36Arcadia had some information about it.
- 23:39But they're going to be like getting serious down to business
- 23:43in terms of setting up trade settlement currencies between
- 23:47those countries. And they're talking about 40%
- 23:51gold backing. And there's even some talk about
- 23:54the other 60% of this trade currency will be backed by the
- 23:58respective currencies of the countries which are involved in
- 24:01this. But they, they, they basically
- 24:04have to be kind of backed by gold as well.
- 24:07We're in a new era for precious metals and who knows what's
- 24:12going to happen in the United States.
- 24:13I don't want bad things to happen.
- 24:16But guys, the fact is a fact. We are in one of the people hate
- 24:20each other in this country right now.
- 24:23OK, I'll leave it at that. Obviously we had a big debate
- 24:25last night. But man, when I talk to people
- 24:29as a neutral party that are either what I, what is it, red
- 24:33or blue, they don't like each other.
- 24:35I'm not a political show. I'm not going to make any
- 24:38political statements. I have my own views.
- 24:40I'll keep them to myself. Ideonomics.
- 24:44It's working. But nonetheless, people aren't
- 24:47happy with each other. We could be it.
- 24:50It could be. And then, and a lot of people
- 24:54don't even, it's weird. They don't talk about it with
- 24:56each other. It's a strange situation.
- 24:59Who knows how that one's going to play out.
- 25:01OK, Hey, this is exciting. This could be the secret weapon
- 25:06for precious metals. Let's go out to just a quick a
- 25:10couple quick headlines that we're seeing and I'll tell you
- 25:13what we're going to do right now.
- 25:15We're all going to have a little break.
- 25:17We're going to absorb what we've talked about because we got a
- 25:19lot more to talk about. And we're all going to have a
- 25:21quick sip of coffee and we're going to turn the
- 25:35microphone back on. Man, it's a big deal.
- 25:40You're here. Thank you, right?
- 25:43You. OK?
- 25:44I know it's me, it's you, and we're a big group of people, but
- 25:48it's not a big group of people without you.
- 25:51Please leave comments, OK? None of us has all the answers.
- 25:55We can help each other, right? And together we can figure this
- 25:58mess out. And if nothing else, right?
- 26:01And it's not nothing else, it's a big deal.
- 26:03You've got some friends here in the basement.
- 26:05You're part of the group. You belong here.
- 26:07Thank you for being here. Let's talk about what could be a
- 26:10big, massive deal coming down the road for the precious
- 26:17metals. Hold on here.
- 26:24Hold on here. Looks like I forgot to pull that
- 26:27up. I apologize.
- 26:32Hold on here. Let's go.
- 26:34You guys are going to get a behind the scenes tour of Ron's
- 26:38basement. Hold on.
- 26:41Stay with me. Hopefully we didn't lose
- 26:43everybody. Is the live stream dead?
- 26:45Can somebody give me a 5 by 5? Hello, Susie.
- 26:51Am I still alive? Hello.
- 26:59Here we go. I think we're still alive and
- 27:14OK. Hello, basement dwellers.
- 27:17OK, there you are. Hey, guys.
- 27:19All right, let's go out and take a look at this because this is
- 27:22big news in the silver and gold market.
- 27:28Here we are. OK, money market funds hit
- 27:32another record high, but experts warn it's time to move out of
- 27:37cash where they see the opportunity.
- 27:41All right, OK. Why is this a big deal?
- 27:43This is the biggest sleeper deal for the silver and gold market.
- 27:48All right, Now they locked me out of it, but so let's go back
- 27:51here and let's hold on, see what this pulls up.
- 28:09OK, US money market funds hit a record high.
- 28:12Another a Bloomberg article. All right, US money market, I
- 28:16say a safe haven. Why is this a huge deal for the
- 28:20silver price and the gold price? Very simple.
- 28:24People have a record amount of money in money market funds.
- 28:27People are scared. That scared money, that's money
- 28:31they don't want to have in the stock market.
- 28:33That's money they don't want to have in the real estate market
- 28:36in that money is going to soon start losing real value, real
- 28:42return, real interest rates are going to go negative.
- 28:46OK, doesn't matter. We're going to see the, the Fed
- 28:49cut rates soon, right? On September what, 18th, we're
- 28:53going to get a quarter point rate cut from the Fed and we'll
- 28:57probably have a few more rate cuts, blah, blah, blah.
- 29:00So these guys that are, that are have this record amount of money
- 29:03in money market accounts are going to stop making 5% and soon
- 29:08they'll be making 4 or 3%. But what really matters, and we
- 29:13heard it this morning clear as day, what really matters is that
- 29:18inflation is going to skyrocket. The Fed has given up.
- 29:23The talking heads on CNBC are saying it.
- 29:26I'll say it to you, the Fed has given up. the Fed knows they
- 29:30can't win the fight on inflation, guys, the national
- 29:34debt, the overall fiscal situation in this country, the
- 29:38Fed absolutely knows they can't win.
- 29:41So they're giving up on the fight and inflation.
- 29:44So what's going to happen as we move forward is, but the
- 29:47independent of what the rate of return is that people can get on
- 29:53their money market accounts, they're going to start to
- 29:55realize that inflation is far outstripping any two or three or
- 30:024% that that record amount of money that they have in money
- 30:06market accounts can earn. OK, that's the reality of what's
- 30:10going to happen. Let's go out here and I want to,
- 30:12I want to add, I want to show you something that I think shows
- 30:16it in uncertain terms here. What happens when the Fed lowers
- 30:22rates? It's this right here, extras
- 30:24pyramid. Don't worry, we'll come back to
- 30:26it. I know it's a fan favorite, OK?
- 30:31But the facts are this. People won't make the 5% like we
- 30:34just talked about, and they're still going to be looking for a
- 30:38safe harbor. Doesn't matter if the Fed lowers
- 30:41rates by half a percent or 2% over the next year.
- 30:45What matters is that inflation is going to skyrocket.
- 30:49And when it does, people are going to, they're not going to
- 30:52realize that what that means is negative real interest rates.
- 30:55That's the fancy way to describe what's going on.
- 30:58What they're going to realize is that the little measly amount of
- 31:02money they're making on their CD's and their money market
- 31:05accounts is not keeping up with inflation.
- 31:09OK. In the stock market at the same
- 31:12time, at best will be stagnant. And these people don't want to
- 31:16put that money in the stock market anyway.
- 31:17If they'd wanted to put that record amount of money, market
- 31:21money into the stock market, they would have done that
- 31:23already. So they're especially not going
- 31:25to do it when they're hearing that the market is struggling,
- 31:28OK? And not to mention maybe going
- 31:31down because the market's going to the stock market's going to
- 31:33be in big trouble probably over the next 5 to 10 years because
- 31:38as inflation is going up, cost will be going up for businesses,
- 31:42while at the same time the economy will be stagnant at best
- 31:48and in a recession. OK, The other, the other issue
- 31:53is people aren't going to put their that money into real
- 31:55estate. What they're going to do, OK,
- 31:58what they're going to do is go to gold and silver.
- 32:01That's safe money, that's money market money.
- 32:03That's CD account money. A lot of these people are going
- 32:07to get the, the cojones at that point to be, to be willing to
- 32:11move into silver and gold. And don't forget we talked about
- 32:15this. The seed has already been
- 32:17planted, right? It's bizarre how our fellow
- 32:21Americans, right? 99% of them won't buy physical
- 32:25silver and gold right now. Yet if you ask them what are the
- 32:29most valuable things on the on the planet, they'd probably say
- 32:33gold and silver every. My kids know it and they're 12
- 32:36years old. So that's what's going on.
- 32:39This shows just how it can happen.
- 32:43Of course, this is our extras pyramid, all right?
- 32:47Gold and silver are the base. Everything above it, all this
- 32:51stuff, base money, bank money, government bonds, corporate, all
- 32:55of it is fake, paper, synthetic. All right, make believe.
- 33:00And as the people wake up, that's where that money is
- 33:04absolutely going to flow. OK, absolutely.
- 33:11OK, let's all have a sip of coffee and then we will be right
- 33:16back. Almost forgot to turn the
- 33:30microphone back on. So we got our big hold on.
- 33:34I haven't looked at you enough this morning.
- 33:36We got our big CPI number this morning.
- 33:38We talked about it yesterday. We warned today could be a
- 33:41volatile day for the precious metals and so far it is proven
- 33:45to be. But let's talk about the
- 33:47exciting part of what we learned right from this inflation
- 33:52report. And let's first just do an
- 33:56update. Maybe things have gotten better.
- 33:58Maybe they've gotten worse. We're going to press the pin
- 34:00backs magic button and they've gotten a little worse.
- 34:04Gold's now down $11.00 per oz, Silver down 30.
- 34:07Maybe we'll come back and check on that a little bit later.
- 34:11Let's look at what CNBC had to say this morning.
- 34:17Oh, wow. The Dow Jones Industrial Average
- 34:19drops 600 points. Woof, crazy consumer prices.
- 34:25This is what they're saying about the CPI.
- 34:27Consumer prices rose .2% in August.
- 34:30His annual inflation rate hits lowest level since early 2021.
- 34:36Everything's great. Everything's awesome in the
- 34:39economy. You know, I mean, that's the,
- 34:42we're living in a fantasy world where the mainstream media just
- 34:46wants to feed us over and over. Everything's fine.
- 34:50The GDP numbers, they're great, right?
- 34:53The jobs numbers, they're great unless you're one of those
- 34:57818,000 people that doesn't have a real job but a make believe
- 35:04Unicorn fart dust. You know, a job that that they
- 35:08that they erroneously reported people had back last year.
- 35:12We won't go down that path, but mainstream media reports this.
- 35:16Everything is awesome. What is 0 hedge saying?
- 35:20Zero Hedge says this right, Core inflation comes in hotter than
- 35:27expected. What is core inflation?
- 35:29Don't worry, we're going to, I'm going to tell you what it is,
- 35:32collapsing odds of A50. So now what they're saying is
- 35:36basically the core inflation came in high.
- 35:39Now the Fed is no longer this idea that the Fed might cut by
- 35:43by 1/2 percent next week. A week from what?
- 35:47Is that? A week from today?
- 35:48A week from tomorrow? That's off the table.
- 35:51We're going to get a quarter point cut.
- 35:53That's OK. the Fed can't really cut rates. the Fed doesn't.
- 35:58Guys. The bottom line is this, without
- 36:03a doubt, the Fed needs inflation, OK?
- 36:07We need to get that through our thick basement dweller skulls.
- 36:11The only way they can keep the fantasy world alive that they
- 36:17can keep the ultra wealthy, ultra rich and ultra happy and
- 36:22continue. And this is this is not not
- 36:26tinfoil hat conspiracy speak when I say this, this is this.
- 36:31This is borne out by statistics, right?
- 36:34Keep the ultra wealthy, ultra wealthy and keep the middle
- 36:39class of America decimated because, and there's no other
- 36:43way to describe what is done. The only way they can do that is
- 36:46to perpetuate this, this horrific financial situation
- 36:50that the country's in, right? This debt spiral that we're in.
- 36:54And the only way they can perpetuate it, keep it going,
- 36:58right, which is what they'll do. They're desperate is by printing
- 37:01money and monetizing debt, which basically means driving down the
- 37:07value of the US dollar, the real value, which means runaway
- 37:12inflation, which means you and me will be very happy that we
- 37:17own real assets, up to and including the best real asset on
- 37:23the face of the planet, which would be precious metals.
- 37:29OK, so when we talk about core CPI, cores, what is core CPI
- 37:35will core CPI that takes out the cost of food and and fuel.
- 37:40I think it is. Let's go.
- 37:41Look, we're going to go to the Federal Reserve's website, not
- 37:44just any Federal Reserve. Where is it?
- 37:47Hold on here. I had it up somewhere.
- 37:52What is happening? Oh, oh, core.
- 37:55Hold on here. Here we go.
- 37:57We got it. This is Fred.
- 38:01I don't know why they call it Fred, but it's the Saint Louis
- 38:04Fed. You know, whatever you can bash
- 38:07Saint Louis, but and we got a fed here in Saint Louis.
- 38:10This is the consumer pride. This is the core CPI.
- 38:14Look at this guys. Let's just look at this quickly.
- 38:17I want to draw on here also and show you something that I think
- 38:23is very fascinating. OK, there it is.
- 38:30Let's get our crayons out. We're going to move this out of
- 38:34the way. Look at 1971.
- 38:37This shows again consumer price index, OK?
- 38:42Since 1971, this is when this is when they took us off the gold
- 38:48standard. OK, That shows in no uncertain
- 38:54terms what has happened to the value of the US dollar since
- 38:57silver and gold were taken out of the backing of the US dollar.
- 39:06OK, look at this from an index perspective.
- 39:08We went from, oh, let's say 50 all the way up to 320.
- 39:15That means prices have gone up six times on average.
- 39:19And that's if we even want to believe their data.
- 39:23That's what happens when you take silver and gold out of
- 39:27money. That's what happens, OK, when
- 39:30you go against what? The founding Fathers, The
- 39:33founding fathers? Are you going to argue with me
- 39:35and call me a nut? Are they going to call us nuts
- 39:37because we believe in silver and gold?
- 39:40Well, what? What are they?
- 39:41What? What?
- 39:42What were we all taught as children?
- 39:44Right. The US Constitution, you know,
- 39:48the epitome, the top of documents for our country,
- 39:53right, right. What did other people like
- 39:55Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Andrew Jackson, what
- 39:59do they all say, Right, right. But since they took silver and
- 40:03gold out of our money like our founding fathers laid out for
- 40:06us, I want to say this very quickly about our founding
- 40:09fathers. They think about yourself right
- 40:12now, me think about, you know, us as individuals living in
- 40:162024. When they wrote the
- 40:19Constitution, they were thinking about us.
- 40:23OK, now we're good, right? We're thinking about them,
- 40:27right? We know.
- 40:28We know the truth. We know what's going on, or it's
- 40:30our truth. But we believe in the US
- 40:33Constitution, right? 99% of Americans, while the
- 40:39Founding Fathers were thinking of them, they don't think about
- 40:42the founding fathers at all. Some of them even say, oh, the
- 40:45Constitution's outdated blah blah blah.
- 40:48Well, I don't know about that. Anyway, we're supposed to be
- 40:50talking about core CPI. Core CPI?
- 40:53Is this OK? This measurement known as the
- 41:00core CPI is widely used by economist because food and
- 41:04energy have very volatile prices.
- 41:07So the core CPI continues to go up.
- 41:10It is really a measure of long term inflation.
- 41:14So long term inflation is continuing to skyrocket in this
- 41:20country and we have not seen anything.
- 41:23I mean, guys, we have not seen anything yet.
- 41:27You better be ready, OK, because 2025 and I'll sit down here and
- 41:33say I'm wrong. I'm calling 44 dollars silver by
- 41:37Christmas. I'll sit down here and say I'm
- 41:39wrong, but I'm telling you in 2025, one year from now,
- 41:44September 11th, an easy day to remember and let's all remember,
- 41:47right? Where is our flags, right?
- 41:49I got some flags up today. What happened on September 11th?
- 41:52But September 11th next year, right?
- 41:56That's inflation day. I guarantee you we're going to
- 42:00be all over the news. Inflation skyrocketing,
- 42:03inflation skyrocketing. It is going to be ugly, but but
- 42:08there's a silver lining to it, Pardon the pun, right?
- 42:13Something for you to be happy about.
- 42:15Don't we want to be happy basement dwellers?
- 42:17By the way, before I forget, thank you to all the moderators
- 42:20who are here, Jake, from Jake's Custom Parts.
- 42:23I see you. I don't know if Annie's here.
- 42:25It's hard for me to watch all the comments.
- 42:27Annie Oakley, thank you, Susie, big time, the Silvershire and
- 42:31thank you individuals for being here and contributing to the
- 42:34basement. But back to next year.
- 42:36Ugly time, ugly zone, ugly, ugly, ugly.
- 42:42And the silver lining, and it's a good thing for you and me, is
- 42:47that next year we could see that big wave, that massive wave of
- 42:52people coming into the precious metals market.
- 42:57Guys, it's not a it's not a trip to Ron's basement without a
- 43:00couple things. Let's go see if we'll press the
- 43:02magic Pembex button one more time and see if we can get a
- 43:07higher gold price. And we can.
- 43:11It improved now only down $10.89.
- 43:15Thank you, Pembex, but let's go out to this.
- 43:20Let's be real. Let's be real.
- 43:22I didn't hear this discussed at all last night.
- 43:25Did you hear this discussed last night?
- 43:35Right. No, 35 trillion.
- 43:38Just we always have to make sure every day that it's not going
- 43:40down and it's going up. There's 800,000.
- 43:44Let's see how long it takes for $100,000 a $100,000 in debt.
- 43:51OK, hold on, we'll start over here.
- 43:53All right, 123455 seconds for us to to acquire another $100,000
- 44:03in debt. Think if we had told Andrew
- 44:06Jackson or have we gone back to what is it Hamilton that wrote
- 44:10the Constitution, Benjamin Franklin and said guys, in the
- 44:13year 2024, the United States will be racking up $100,000 in
- 44:20debt every 5 seconds, 6 seconds, whatever that was.
- 44:23I forget those guys would have, would have, we would have had to
- 44:27put them in some Depends diapers.
- 44:29I mean, they would not have believed that.
- 44:31Just for fun, let's go over and take a look.
- 44:35It keep is it 483 today, the dollar to silver ratio
- 44:40unbelievable, All right, that's what we have.
- 44:43That's what's underpinning our dollar.
- 44:47That's what as we are right now in what is a battle, precious
- 44:52metals, precious metals investors, this includes you,
- 44:56right? There is a massive, massive
- 44:59showdown at the OK Corral going on right now in our world
- 45:03between the dollar and precious metals.
- 45:07OK. And what does the dollar have in
- 45:09its favor? OK, One thing it does have, we
- 45:12have to admit our aircraft carriers and a very, very big
- 45:17sophisticated military, OK. But outside of that, it's not
- 45:21backed by silver and gold anymore.
- 45:24It it kind of broke up with silver and gold a little while
- 45:26back, OK. But it also has that what we
- 45:30just looked at $35 trillion in debt.
- 45:33When we look at unfunded liabilities, some people say
- 45:36it's like 100 trillion, 200 trillion.
- 45:38I don't. It's just mind numbing future
- 45:41obligations for pension payments, for Social Security,
- 45:44for Medicare and Medicaid. It's a paper facade.
- 45:48It's this. You know what?
- 45:50Somebody help me. It's not really paper.
- 45:53It's Lennon. I got yelled at once, but none
- 45:56the less, it's this. Woo Hoo.
- 45:58Yay. OK.
- 45:59Paper money. Yay.
- 46:02Believe in me. I'm paper.
- 46:04OK? That's what That's what the
- 46:06dollar has in its favor. What does this have here?
- 46:11Here's 3 beautiful right silver dollars.
- 46:15Listen, this is heavy, OK? Look, when I hold this in my
- 46:21hand, I encourage you to do this at home.
- 46:24I hold this over here and this over here.
- 46:28Even just one of these. I mean, in their works of art,
- 46:32they're real. This does a Morgan.
- 46:36Look at this thing. This is from 1878.
- 46:40Look at that, guys. Look at that.
- 46:45Look at that. Look at the back of this.
- 46:51If you don't have one of these, you got to get one.
- 46:53They're not that expensive. Look at that.
- 46:56I mean hold this in one hand and hold this in the other hand.
- 47:02I mean anybody a six year old, if you ask them what do you want
- 47:08this or this? They want this right?
- 47:12So this battle that's going on, let me tell you something.
- 47:15This doesn't want to fight. Imagine this fighting this like
- 47:20rock, paper scissors. We're going to play a game of
- 47:23where'd it go? Here's the Morgan.
- 47:25We're going to I love the eagle. I love the Morgan in general,
- 47:27man, that's just beautiful guys, look at that.
- 47:31You got to get yourself one of those beautiful.
- 47:37Imagine a fight between these two.
- 47:39I mean, there's no this guy's shaking.
- 47:43Look, he shakes, he trembles. This doesn't shake or tremble.
- 47:48The dollar doesn't want the fight.
- 47:50Oh, and by the way, this fight last time, I'll show it.
- 47:53This fight between silver and paper money.
- 47:57OK, this in my left hand could be anything, Could be a
- 48:00Venezuelan piece of currency, could be a Argentina peso, could
- 48:05be a Roman drachma or whatever that they were.
- 48:07I don't know. I could be what this could be
- 48:09any of hundreds of other currencies that this silver has
- 48:15fought. Gold has fought over the last
- 48:18hundreds of years. And guess what?
- 48:22Who do you think won Gold, silver, precious metals have a
- 48:26perfect record in those fights, A perfect record over thousands
- 48:31of years. Imagine this, imagine if you
- 48:34were, if we were in Las Vegas. Trust me, you don't want to go
- 48:38to Vegas with me. But you decide, you make a
- 48:41mistake and we decide to go to Las Vegas.
- 48:44And there's and we get the bet on this fight between precious
- 48:47metals in the US dollar. And we look at the the tip sheet
- 48:53and it says, well, let's see, precious metals have had the
- 48:56same exact fight hundreds of times over thousands of years
- 49:02and they've won every time. And then it says, and the
- 49:05dollar, it's really never been in this fight, right kind of
- 49:10sword over the last 50 years. But what we know about the
- 49:13dollar is that it's continuing continuously losing strength,
- 49:18whereas this has been perfect strength.
- 49:21Who would we bet on? Who would we bet on?
- 49:26I know who you'd bet on. It's who you're betting on right
- 49:29now. OK, and I'll bet, I'll bet one
- 49:33thing also for sure. OK, that is well, I'll bet that
- 49:38I hope that you decide to come back to the basement.
