- 0:00Speaker 1: Look at that 17th verse just a moment.
- 0:02Speaker 2: And when he came to himself, he said, How many
- 0:07Speaker 2: hard servants of my father have bread enough and to spare,
- 0:11Speaker 2: and I perish with hunger.
- 0:14Speaker 1: And when he came to himself.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Reach over and shake your neighbor by the hand and say, Neighbor,
- 0:26Speaker 2: tell the devil. I change my mind. My brothers and sisters,
- 0:42Speaker 2: what a joy and what a blessing it is to
- 0:44Speaker 2: share the word of the Lord with you today. I
- 0:47Speaker 2: am so honored to be in your home and to
- 0:48Speaker 2: be a part of your life and that God has
- 0:51Speaker 2: allowed me to share his word with you. We're showing
- 0:54Speaker 2: some TVJ classics, some of those Messages that are timeless
- 0:58Speaker 2: and I believe have revelation in them that you yet
- 1:01Speaker 2: can benefit from. This one I'm excited about. Tell the
- 1:04Speaker 2: devil I changed my mind. As a man thinketh in
- 1:08Speaker 2: his heart, so is he. If you change your mind,
- 1:11Speaker 2: you can change your outcome. Take a look at this.
- 1:14Speaker 2: We've got a father in the text who has two sons.
- 1:19Speaker 2: The only other character that's mentioned here. In the text
- 1:22Speaker 2: is a nameless citizen of a far country that the
- 1:26Speaker 2: younger son attaches himself to in the time of adversity.
- 1:32Speaker 2: So we have in this text four expressed characters and
- 1:38Speaker 2: one implied character. His name is never mentioned and there
- 1:42Speaker 2: is no particular reference made to him. But there is
- 1:45Speaker 2: a character that is implied in the passage that we
- 1:49Speaker 2: must talk about and that is Satan. He always drapes
- 1:53Speaker 2: himself and hides himself and he generally doesn't come to
- 1:56Speaker 2: the forefront because his strength is in anonymity. As long
- 2:01Speaker 2: as he can be invisible, he does his best works
- 2:05Speaker 2: in the shadows. And though he is not expressed, he
- 2:09Speaker 2: is implied in the text before us.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We have here a.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Certain man, could be any man who has faith Two
- 2:21Speaker 2: sons and the younger of the two sons has said
- 2:25Speaker 2: to his father, give unto me the portion of goods
- 2:29Speaker 2: that falleth to me. Now because he has asked his
- 2:33Speaker 2: father for substance or wealth or inheritance, we have presumptuously
- 2:40Speaker 2: assumed that he asked his father that because he was greedy.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I want to deal with that erroneous concept. This young
- 2:49Speaker 2: man was not greedy. It is not a rags to
- 2:54Speaker 2: riches story. He is not somebody who came from the
- 2:58Speaker 2: wrong side of the tracks and was looking for an
- 3:01Speaker 2: easy break to move to the east side.
- 3:04Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 3:05Speaker 2: He was a young man who was born with a
- 3:07Speaker 2: silver spoon in his mouth. He didn't come to his
- 3:11Speaker 2: father and ask him for money so that he could
- 3:14Speaker 2: change his standard of living. He was born into money.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Asking his father for the money would have never made
- 3:22Speaker 2: him any richer than he already was. He already had servants.
- 3:26Speaker 2: He already lived in a palace. He already had people
- 3:29Speaker 2: waiting on him and taking care of him and running
- 3:32Speaker 2: bath water and wiping his mouth and hanging his clothes
- 3:35Speaker 2: and taking care of him. He had it going on,
- 3:38Speaker 2: but the problem was he wasn't satisfied to have the
- 3:43Speaker 2: benefits of the house. He wanted control of the house.
- 3:48Speaker 2: We are not looking at greed or a lust for money.
- 3:52Speaker 2: We are looking at a lust for power. He wants
- 3:55Speaker 2: to be in control of his future. He says, Father,
- 3:59Speaker 2: it's not enough that I'm living the blessing. I want
- 4:02Speaker 2: you to give it to me so I can do
- 4:04Speaker 2: what I want to do, when I want to do it,
- 4:07Speaker 2: how I want to do it. Now notice just a
- 4:11Speaker 2: detail or two. It was the younger son that came
- 4:14Speaker 2: to the father and said, give me the portion of
- 4:17Speaker 2: goods that falleth unto me. But the Bible says he
- 4:21Speaker 2: divided unto them his living. So even though the younger
- 4:25Speaker 2: son made the request, Because of his request, the father
- 4:30Speaker 2: divided unto them, meaning both sons, his living. But incidentally,
- 4:36Speaker 2: it would help you to understand that the younger son
- 4:40Speaker 2: got a blessing and the elder son got the blessing.
- 4:43Speaker 2: But isn't it funny how some folks, when they get blessed,
- 4:46Speaker 2: will change? Some people can receive a blessing differently. from
- 4:52Speaker 2: the Lord and come up in their standards and be
- 4:56Speaker 2: able to get authority and power and still maintain their focus.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Other people, the moment they get two nickels and a dime,
- 5:05Speaker 2: they start acting like strangers you never knew before. They
- 5:09Speaker 2: just cannot handle the blessing of the Lord. One good
- 5:13Speaker 2: blessing and they can't speak to anybody. And one good
- 5:16Speaker 2: blessing and they're shaking your hand with three fingers out.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about? One good blessing.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Just to finally get a dress that wasn't $ 69.
- 5:27Speaker 1: 99 and now.
- 5:28Speaker 2: You can't speak to anybody when you come in the
- 5:31Speaker 2: house of the Lord. But this younger brother exemplifies this
- 5:38Speaker 2: situation because he got the blessing and he stayed in
- 5:42Speaker 2: the house for a while, but it wasn't too long
- 5:46Speaker 2: before he became.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Restless in the house.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Now there is a doctrine that I want to touch
- 5:52Speaker 2: on before I really jump down into this text. It
- 5:57Speaker 2: is implied, it is the doctrine of Balaam that is
- 6:01Speaker 2: mentioned in the book of Revelations. The Bible calls the
- 6:05Speaker 2: doctrine of Balaam a doctrine that God hates. And I
- 6:09Speaker 2: want to acquaint you with the doctrine of Balaam because
- 6:12Speaker 2: it is subtly at work in my text. Now if
- 6:15Speaker 2: you follow me, I'm going somewhere. The doctrine of Balaam
- 6:20Speaker 2: is preempted on a concept that says that Satan does
- 6:25Speaker 2: not have a witch.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Or a warlock or a root.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Worker or a dust thrower that can curse what God
- 6:35Speaker 2: has blessed. That Balaam has employed Balak to work a
- 6:41Speaker 2: curse on the nation of Israel and this experienced man
- 6:47Speaker 2: This experienced sorcerer could not find in his book of
- 6:54Speaker 2: recipes a spell or a hex, a root, or some
- 7:05Speaker 2: dust he could throw, an incantation or a maneuver that
- 7:11Speaker 2: could curse what God had blessed him. Hear me today.
- 7:19Speaker 2: If you are blessed, you don't have to live in
- 7:23Speaker 2: fear of being cursed. Because hell cannot curse what God
- 7:32Speaker 2: has blessed. Look at somebody right in the eye and
- 7:38Speaker 2: tell them I'm blessed. See, sometimes we're too timid about
- 7:42Speaker 2: letting people know that we're blessed. We try to act
- 7:45Speaker 2: kind of pitiful so that we can get along with people.
- 7:48Speaker 2: But from time to time, you need to let them
- 7:50Speaker 2: know I'm blessed. There's power in being blessed. Say amen, somebody.
- 7:56Speaker 2: When you understand what blessed is. Now, you're not blessed because...
- 8:00Speaker 2: of what you wore to church or because of the
- 8:02Speaker 2: house you live in or because of the kind of
- 8:05Speaker 2: shoes or how much money you have in CDs or
- 8:08Speaker 2: annuities or anything like that. You're not blessed because of
- 8:12Speaker 2: the house or the car or the shoe, the husband
- 8:14Speaker 2: or children or wife or anything like that. That's not
- 8:18Speaker 2: really what I'm talking about. Those are the symptoms of
- 8:21Speaker 2: being blessed, but that's not the root of being blessed.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Because the real truth of the matter is you can
- 8:27Speaker 2: be broke.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Busted, and disgusted and still be blessed.
- 8:34Speaker 2: You can have to catch the bus and wear your
- 8:37Speaker 2: sister's shoes and your mama's hat and your Aunt Lucy's
- 8:41Speaker 2: pocketbook and come in with an empty pocketbook with newspaper
- 8:45Speaker 2: down in it and still be blessed. For a man's
- 8:51Speaker 2: life does not consist in the abundance of things which
- 8:55Speaker 2: he possesses. Blessed goes far deeper than anything that a
- 9:00Speaker 2: CPA could account for or that you can get interest
- 9:04Speaker 2: on in a bank account or that you can hang
- 9:07Speaker 2: in a closet or send to a cleaner's or have
- 9:10Speaker 2: a mechanic work on. Blessed is deeper than that. Blessed
- 9:13Speaker 2: isn't even visible or tangible. It is an invisible state
- 9:17Speaker 2: of being where the favor of God is upon your life.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And hell has a tough time trying to do something
- 9:27Speaker 2: with you when you're blessed. Now there are many definitions
- 9:31Speaker 2: for blessed. And one of the many definitions that are
- 9:35Speaker 2: given for blessed is happy. And happy is okay, but
- 9:39Speaker 2: it is a little weak of a definition for being blessed.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Because happy comes from the Latin word hap, where we
- 9:46Speaker 2: say happen, which means something has to happen in order
- 9:50Speaker 2: for you to be happy. But you can be blessed
- 9:54Speaker 2: when nothing is happening. You can be blessed in a cold, dark,
- 9:59Speaker 2: dormant world. moment of your life and know, sit like
- 10:03Speaker 2: a lady sitting at the bus stop waiting on the
- 10:05Speaker 2: bus to come and know that in spite of the
- 10:08Speaker 2: fact that it hasn't happened yet, that if you just
- 10:11Speaker 2: wait a little while longer, that the blessing of the
- 10:14Speaker 2: Lord will run out and overtake you and you don't
- 10:17Speaker 2: have to do nothing but sit there and pat your
- 10:20Speaker 2: foot and know that the.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Blessing is here. On his way. See, I'm blessed. And
- 10:25Speaker 1: it doesn't matter whether it's.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Winter, spring, summer, or fall. Whether it's midnight or morning.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I might have to weep all night. But don't worry
- 10:32Speaker 2: about me. Let me cry. Because joy is coming in
- 10:34Speaker 2: the morning. Simply because I am blessed. And the devil
- 10:42Speaker 2: is limited in being able to do anything to somebody
- 10:46Speaker 2: who's blessed. Because he can't stir up or mix or
- 10:50Speaker 2: conjure anything that can curse you when you're blessed.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I asked the Lord.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I said, Lord, I'm tired of asking Webster and Vines
- 10:58Speaker 2: and Strong's Exhaustive and everybody what blessed is.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I said, if anybody knows what blessed is, let me
- 11:04Speaker 1: ask you. And so I asked him. And this is
- 11:07Speaker 1: what he told me. He said, to be blessed.
- 11:09Speaker 2: is the uncanny, innate ability to succeed over adversity.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Still to come on The Potter's Touch.
- 11:21Speaker 2: If you feel like nobody appreciates you, stay in the house.
- 11:24Speaker 2: If you're real food wounded in this area, stay in
- 11:27Speaker 2: the house. Broke, busted, and disgusted, but I'm going to
- 11:31Speaker 2: stay in the house. Going through hell and high water,
- 11:34Speaker 2: but I'm going to stay, stay, stay, stay, stay in
- 11:37Speaker 2: the house. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew
- 11:40Speaker 2: their strength. They shall mount up on wings like eagles.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Run and not be weary. Walk and not pray. Tell
- 11:47Speaker 2: somebody to stay in the house.
- 11:50Speaker 4: What arose in America as the biggest event of its
- 11:53Speaker 4: kind is back.
- 11:54Speaker 5: And now the stage is set.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You have never seen a meeting like this.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Together again at Megafest 2013.
- 12:01Speaker 1: We're taking over Dallas. You're going to catch abundance.
- 12:06Speaker 5: You're going to catch God's blessings. Encouraging women.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Peacemaker is somebody who declares war on anything that disturbs
- 12:12Speaker 2: their peace. There is a principle that will cause a
- 12:17Speaker 2: shift in your situation. If he can deliver me, he
- 12:20Speaker 2: can deliver you.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Equipping men.
- 12:23Speaker 2: We have more fear in running out than we do
- 12:26Speaker 2: faith in running over. Everyone must betray it, claim dominion
- 12:31Speaker 2: over it, and take it.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Back to the kingdom.
- 12:33Speaker 5: This is going to be big. Elevated to walk in
- 12:37Speaker 5: that destination.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Meet us in Dallas, Texas, August 29th through 31st. Register
- 12:41Speaker 4: at mega-fest.com or call 1-800-BISHOP-2 today.
- 12:48Speaker 1: We do it big in Texas.
- 12:53Speaker 2: To be blessed is the uncanny innate ability to succeed
- 13:01Speaker 2: over adversity. I said, well, if it's the uncanny innate
- 13:04Speaker 2: ability to succeed over adversity, that means that I can
- 13:07Speaker 2: be blessed and still have adversity. He said, it's adversity
- 13:11Speaker 2: that lets you know that you're blessed. Yeah, because if
- 13:17Speaker 2: you weren't going anywhere, the devil wouldn't be trying to
- 13:19Speaker 2: fight you, you see. And then you can tell when
- 13:22Speaker 2: a person's blessed, not because they don't go through anything,
- 13:26Speaker 2: but when you're blessed, when it's all over some kind
- 13:29Speaker 2: of way, you always come out of it. You might
- 13:32Speaker 2: have dirt up under your fingernails. You might have scuffed
- 13:35Speaker 2: your knee or skinned your leg. But when it's all over,
- 13:39Speaker 2: you'll always come out because you're blessed.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Tell somebody, tell them, I am blessed. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I've been through hell and high water, but I'm blessed.
- 13:52Speaker 2: If you are blessed, the Lord says, no weapon.
- 14:02Speaker 2: No weapon formed or mixed or conjured or stirred or fried.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Or baked or boiled. No weapon formed.
- 14:11Speaker 2: That means you can get a piece of my hair,
- 14:13Speaker 2: but it ain't gonna work. You can get a piece
- 14:16Speaker 2: of my clothes, but it ain't gonna work. You can
- 14:18Speaker 2: get my picture and burn wax on it, but it's
- 14:20Speaker 2: not gonna work.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'm blessed!
- 14:27Speaker 2: Somebody's going through a bit of trouble right now, but
- 14:30Speaker 2: I came to tell you it ain't going to work.
- 14:34Speaker 2: The enemy's trying to set you up, but it ain't
- 14:36Speaker 2: going to work. High five somebody, tell them this ain't
- 14:39Speaker 2: going to work either. The last one didn't work, and
- 14:44Speaker 2: the one before that didn't work, and the test last
- 14:47Speaker 2: year didn't work, and the test last month didn't work.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's going to work. Because I am Well, let me
- 15:08Speaker 1: talk to you.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Sit down.
- 15:09Speaker 1: We got to get to the point.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Now. I feel the anointing in here.
- 15:23Speaker 1: This is what you got to understand.
- 15:27Speaker 2: The devil knows you're blessed. And he's worried about it.
- 15:35Speaker 2: He really wants to mess you up. But in order
- 15:39Speaker 2: to really do what he wants to do, he's got
- 15:43Speaker 2: to get you out of the blessed place. He has
- 15:49Speaker 2: got to do something to get you out of the house.
- 15:55Speaker 2: When you start talking about staying in the blessed place,
- 15:57Speaker 2: you're staying in the place of covenant. You're staying in
- 16:00Speaker 2: the place where the riches and the promises of God
- 16:03Speaker 2: are coming.
- 16:03Speaker 1: To pass in your life.
- 16:05Speaker 2: There are three blessed places that I want you to
- 16:08Speaker 2: hold on to and don't let nobody move you out
- 16:11Speaker 2: of it. I want you to stay in the blessed
- 16:14Speaker 2: place of the sanctity of marriage if you are married. Stay,
- 16:21Speaker 2: invest your anointing into the covenant of marriage.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Your marriage does matter.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It does matter how you relate to your spouse because
- 16:36Speaker 2: it is a covenant. It is a contract and it
- 16:39Speaker 2: is a shelter for you. It's a shelter for your passions.
- 16:44Speaker 2: It's a shelter for your needs. It's a shelter for
- 16:46Speaker 2: your personality. It's a shelter for your dysfunctions. It is
- 16:51Speaker 2: what God has given to you when he saw that
- 16:54Speaker 2: it was not good for you to be alone. Don't
- 16:58Speaker 2: disagree with his gift. If it's not operating correctly, read
- 17:03Speaker 2: the manual. Somebody say yes, Lord. The next blessed place
- 17:12Speaker 2: I want you to hold on to is the blessed
- 17:15Speaker 2: place of ministry. Don't give up the ministry God puts
- 17:19Speaker 2: you in. Come hell or high water, stay in the house.
- 17:27Speaker 2: People who don't stay in the house don't do well.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Because when God gets ready to speak a word of deliverance,
- 17:33Speaker 2: if you're not in the house, you can't hear it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Somebody who really needs to hear this message this morning
- 17:39Speaker 2: didn't come. And no matter how much you tell them
- 17:43Speaker 2: what it was like, they will miss some of the
- 17:45Speaker 2: electricity of the touch of God. Because you have to
- 17:49Speaker 2: be there to get the full effect. When the hammer falls,
- 17:53Speaker 2: you got to be up under it for it to... Oh,
- 17:56Speaker 2: you don't hear what I'm saying to you. Then you've
- 17:59Speaker 2: got to stay in a blessed state of having a mission.
- 18:04Speaker 1: That's your purpose. That's your goal.
- 18:07Speaker 2: You've got to have something that you focus on that
- 18:09Speaker 2: you don't move away from because the enemy will try
- 18:13Speaker 2: to move you. He'll try to move you away from
- 18:15Speaker 2: your marriage. He'll try to move you away from your ministry.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And he'll try to move you away from your mission.
- 18:21Speaker 2: And so we've got to get into the B clause
- 18:24Speaker 2: of the doctrine of Balaam. Because the doctrine of Balaam
- 18:28Speaker 2: simply stated, says this, when that old hex thrower couldn't
- 18:33Speaker 2: curse Israel, he said, I can't curse them because they're
- 18:37Speaker 2: too blessed.
- 18:38Speaker 1: But if I can get them to come out of.
- 18:41Speaker 2: The blessed place, I can perhaps get them to curse themselves.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Look at somebody and say, don't curse yourself.
- 18:50Speaker 2: The only thing you have to worry about is cursing yourself.
- 18:54Speaker 2: You don't have to waste time going on a witch hunt,
- 18:59Speaker 2: chasing down demons. You don't have to chase down rumors.
- 19:03Speaker 2: You don't have to chase down gossip. You don't have
- 19:05Speaker 2: to change anybody's mind about you. You don't have to
- 19:08Speaker 2: change their attitude. Your blessing is not predicated upon anybody
- 19:13Speaker 2: else's opinion. Your blessing is not being held up over
- 19:16Speaker 2: who doesn't like you or who doesn't believe in you
- 19:19Speaker 2: or who's not with you or who doesn't want you
- 19:21Speaker 2: to get the promotion on your job or who doesn't
- 19:24Speaker 2: want you to get the loan. When God gets ready
- 19:26Speaker 2: to bless you, he'll make your enemy bless you.
- 19:29Speaker 1: He'll make somebody who hates you bless you.
- 19:32Speaker 2: When God gets ready to open up a door, he'll
- 19:35Speaker 2: prepare a table before you right in the presence of
- 19:38Speaker 2: your enemies. The only thing you have to worry about
- 19:42Speaker 2: is not cursing yourself. The enemy knew that the only
- 19:48Speaker 2: way he could get his hands on you on this
- 19:50Speaker 2: prodigal son was to get him out of the house.
- 19:54Speaker 2: And so he sent a restless spirit. Somebody say a
- 19:57Speaker 2: restless spirit. You have never seen so many restless spirits
- 20:02Speaker 2: as we're seeing in the church today. Restless spirits. Folk
- 20:07Speaker 2: don't know what to do. They're not happy at home.
- 20:10Speaker 2: They want to hurry up and get dressed so they
- 20:11Speaker 2: can go to church. Soon as they get to church
- 20:14Speaker 2: and sit down. They get restless in church so they
- 20:17Speaker 2: can get up and go back home. They hurry out
- 20:20Speaker 2: from home to get to church, then get to church
- 20:23Speaker 2: and hurry out of church so you can get back
- 20:25Speaker 2: home and sit down in your chair instead of our chair.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Just a restless spirit. Folks who are real thin are restless,
- 20:34Speaker 2: eating and drinking, weight on and going to Nutrisystems and
- 20:37Speaker 2: trying to find something that they can take to put
- 20:40Speaker 2: weight on. Folks who are overweight, restless, wishing they were thin.
- 20:43Speaker 2: The fat folk want to be thin. The thin folk
- 20:46Speaker 2: want to be fat. The young folks are acting grown.
- 20:49Speaker 2: They're trying to act old. And the old folks is
- 20:51Speaker 2: wearing short dresses and trying.
- 20:53Speaker 1: To act young. Folks who got long hair are cutting
- 20:56Speaker 1: their hair off. And folks who don't have no hair
- 20:59Speaker 1: are gluing....
- 21:02Speaker 2: Folks who don't have a job are giving up a job.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Folks who don't have a job are trying to get
- 21:07Speaker 2: a job. It's a restless spirit. Folks who are married
- 21:11Speaker 2: trying to get rid of their husband. They sick of him.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They want to be single. Single folks waiting at the
- 21:15Speaker 2: door saying, throw him over here, baby.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I want him.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Folks going through all kinds of changes. It's a restless spirit.
- 21:23Speaker 2: When a runaway spirit gets down in you, you aren't
- 21:27Speaker 2: happy anywhere.
- 21:28Speaker 1: You move on this side and you want to be
- 21:30Speaker 1: over there. You move over there and you want to
- 21:32Speaker 1: be over here.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Satan will send a runaway spirit into your life. He'll
- 21:38Speaker 2: try to make you run away from your ministry. He'll
- 21:40Speaker 2: try to make you run away from your marriage. He'll
- 21:43Speaker 2: try to make you run away from your mission. Because
- 21:46Speaker 2: he knows that if you stay in the house, he
- 21:49Speaker 2: can't stir up anything. He can't mix up anything. He
- 21:53Speaker 2: can't conjure up anything to kill you. He's after you.
- 21:57Speaker 2: He wants you. He's been looking at you and longing
- 22:00Speaker 2: for you. But he can't reach you because you're too blessed.
- 22:04Speaker 2: The Lord sent me all the way from the clay
- 22:07Speaker 2: hills of West Virginia to get... an urgent message to
- 22:11Speaker 2: somebody who's in a faith fight. The Lord told me
- 22:15Speaker 2: to tell you, stay in the house. I don't care
- 22:18Speaker 2: what comes or goes, stay.
- 22:19Speaker 1: In the house.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Even if you got tears in your eye, stay in
- 22:23Speaker 2: the house. If you feel like nobody appreciates you, stay.
- 22:26Speaker 1: In the house.
- 22:27Speaker 2: If you're full wounded and discouraged, stay in the house. Broke, busted,
- 22:32Speaker 2: and disgusted. But I'm going to stay in the house.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Going through hell and high water. But I'm going to stay, stay, stay, stay.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Stay in the house. They that wait upon the Lord
- 22:43Speaker 2: shall renew their strength. They shall mount up on wings
- 22:46Speaker 2: like eagles. Run and not be weary. Walk and not fray.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Can somebody say stay in the house? The only thing
- 22:56Speaker 2: wrong with this prodigal son is that he left the house.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And the enemy says, come on. I can't get you
- 23:08Speaker 1: in the house.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Come on. Come on out of the blessed place. Come
- 23:14Speaker 2: on out in the yard. Come on out and play.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Come on out and play. Somebody in here has gone
- 23:20Speaker 2: outside to play. Come on.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I want you. I want you, but I can't. I
- 23:29Speaker 1: can't reach you. I really can't.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Quite reach you. I tried to destroy your child but
- 23:36Speaker 2: I couldn't quite reach you. That's why the car wreck
- 23:40Speaker 2: didn't kill you because I couldn't reach you. When you
- 23:44Speaker 2: went to the hospital last year I was trying to
- 23:46Speaker 2: get you but I couldn't quite reach you.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I've been trying to drive you crazy. I've been trying
- 23:52Speaker 1: to drive you over the edge. I wanted you to
- 23:54Speaker 1: have a nervous breakdown but I can't reach you. I
- 24:00Speaker 1: can't reach you. Come on a little closer. Come on
- 24:08Speaker 1: a little closer. I want you where I can get
- 24:10Speaker 1: my hands on you. And so he's in a restless spirit.
- 24:14Speaker 2: And the prodigal son began to come just a little
- 24:17Speaker 2: bit closer out of his house. And when he came
- 24:20Speaker 2: out of his house, see there's a time once you've
- 24:22Speaker 2: been blessed, you can be blessed a while and be wrong.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I know some of y'all ought to say amen. Out
- 24:32Speaker 1: of the wheel and out of the way.
- 24:33Speaker 2: And still blessed. And so he had his stuff with him.
- 24:36Speaker 2: And he was out there carrying on and still living. Say,
- 24:39Speaker 2: I got the best of both worlds. I'm doing my
- 24:42Speaker 2: thing and I still got the blessings of the Father.
- 24:45Speaker 1: And I'm going on. And he had his stuff.
- 24:48Speaker 2: And the Bible said that if you stay out there
- 24:51Speaker 2: long enough, you're going to start spending your substance in
- 24:55Speaker 2: riotous living.
- 24:56Speaker 1: And I'm so glad that it said substance and not money.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Because if it had just said money, you'd have thought
- 25:01Speaker 2: that the only thing you lose when you play with
- 25:03Speaker 2: the enemy is money. But let me tell you the
- 25:05Speaker 2: real deal. When you start fooling around with the enemy,
- 25:08Speaker 2: you lose more than finances. You lose your integrity. You
- 25:12Speaker 2: lose your self-esteem. You lose your dignity. You lose your self-respect.
- 25:18Speaker 2: You lose your stuff. Look at somebody and tell them,
- 25:20Speaker 2: hold on to your stuff.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Hold on to your stuff. Your determination. What the Jews
- 25:27Speaker 2: call hispa. Your staying power. Your guts. Your tenacity. Your
- 25:33Speaker 2: ability to take a licking and keep on ticking. Yeah.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Your survival instincts.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Your overcoming instincts. Touch somebody and tell them don't lose
- 25:41Speaker 2: your stuff.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Right back for more after this.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Move beyond offense so the door to total freedom can
- 25:49Speaker 3: be thrown wide open.
- 25:50Speaker 2: You don't think you have forgiven until your emotions let go.
- 25:57Speaker 2: But that means that your emotions are running you and
- 26:01Speaker 2: you are not running it.
- 26:03Speaker 3: It's forgiveness on a whole new level.
- 26:05Speaker 2: The reason you are not happy is that your mind
- 26:08Speaker 2: is filled with all that clutter and it's building up
- 26:12Speaker 2: in you and you have no peace.
- 26:14Speaker 3: We all have pain. Will you mask it or advance

- 27:56Speaker 2: God to do for you. I do not understand the
- 27:58Speaker 2: topography of your situation, but I do know a God
- 28:01Speaker 2: who sits high and looks low, has all power in
- 28:03Speaker 2: his hand, and he can take a panoramic view of
- 28:05Speaker 2: your situation and affix his power to your purpose and
- 28:08Speaker 2: bring it to pass for his glory. He's got a
- 28:12Speaker 2: plan for you, and I'm excited about it, and you
- 28:14Speaker 2: will not want to miss it.
- 28:16Speaker 1: May God bless you and strengthen you until we are
- 28:18Speaker 1: together again.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Take care.
- 28:22Speaker 4: This is the part of suffering in me
