Latest / 3 Yards Per Carry - Miami Dolphins / 3YPC-Camp Report 8-20-26
Transcript
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: And we're on.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: This is the camper port for August the 20th, 2026.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: This was a joint practice with the New York Giants at Miami Gardens at the Baptist Health Center.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: Some, um, I guess you could call it, I guess I'm housekeeping.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: First smile and know it did lead practice with an injury and he went inside the Baptist Health facility, which is usually a terrible sign.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: If you go in there, if you go inside, the indoor or in the medical tent, it's usually a little bit better.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you just go straight to the Baptist Health facility, maybe it's because it was a giant.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: If you go straight into the Baptist Health facility, usually it's not good news.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: H.A.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: Henning went in the orange medical tent.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: They have an orange medical tent now, by the way.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: didn't play for all that well last week and his injury looked a little bit more more serious of the three.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: He was the one who was down and then he had to help him up.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: No word on handing, no word on C.C.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: Maui Noa.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: We wish him all the best.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's get to it.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: To start practice off, the team was stretching in the indoor and solar or the giants and then they started with their first three team periods and of the first three team periods, both teams were completely different of what they wanted to emphasize.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: The giants emphasized a lot of special teams.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: Then they went to some one-on-one, and nothing really remarkable happened in the one-on-one's.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: You could check our Twitter account on three-years per carry, our ex account on three-years per carry, and we have kind of a breakdown of how the one-on-one's won.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you want me to recap, I could do that for you.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: Hold on one second.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: I will say that they did have kick return duty, and both teams fire one off.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: uh... let me see if i could get you the uh... regar by the way on his return which was the last one of the special teams period i am pretty certain he's court okay i'm pretty certain that he scored on on that play uh... let me see trying to see who got the last one
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the giants on their return, uh, Gibson was one that got the return to the right and he found a lane other than that very unremarkable returns, regular with the possible touchdown touchdown and Gibson with a possible touchdown on kick returns.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: But none of that seemed live.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: Remember they weren't tackling to the ground.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: right so on 11 on 11's when they got going the giants on the first six snaps fired off four blitzers.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty sure that was intentional.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it helped the team a bit because it got them to see something new to one.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't got a stick by the way.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: to Van Hollen also got a big hit on chemical and chemical came down with the ball held onto it for a big game from from Malik Wallace overall i'm going to give you my impressions of what we saw out there today i thought both defensive dominated i understand that some giants beat our our
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: 16 of 22 from Jackson Dart.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: They did acknowledge the interception that Jacob Rodriguez though.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: However 16 for 22.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 16 for 22.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's nice.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: Both teams had a red zone period 12 snaps from the red zone.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: Need a team score to touch down.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: in teen period, there was one long completion from dark to my like I feel it's the rookie from Notre Dame.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: But if that one was unclear whether he was out of balance or not, or whether he was even alive because the rush had stopped.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: So that's one of those things where people started arguing whether it was a sack or not, or whether the place should have been blown dead.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: But other than that, neither teen drove for touchdowns.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: So anybody who is telling you that the giants dominated on offense is lying to you.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: But the Dolphins often was bad today, and it was mostly bad due to the offensive line, the offensive line had a lot of issues blocking blitzes.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got it right here.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Javan Hal and got a sack.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: One of the earliest plays of the practice, Kaz-Marik, he beat Kaz-Marik to the outside, and got a sack on Willis.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he wasn't a disaster.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: No turnovers, so that's good news.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Grinowski got some snaps as well.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't that much better.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Most notable plays was early on in practice.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: They ran the toss to the right to A-Chan Kasmarik kicked out at dual quarter and A-Chan just had a lane and he was gone.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: The only guy he had to beat was Javan Hall and so that could have been a 17-yard touchdown for Javan A-Chan.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: A few plays later.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: All the Gordon got a toss to the left and that thing was blocked very well down the corner on the on the on the
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: on the edge and the corner was moved out of there and all you found, the edge and the sideline to get at least 11 yards before stepping out of bounds.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Again, other than that, very, very uneventful.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: Austin Jackson got into it with several giants, through a punch, got ejected, then Kaden Wallace came in for one snap, the very next snap he gets beat by Burns for a sec, which kind of makes sense, you know, Bryan Burns has like what 800 sacks last year and Kaden Wallace has been here for a week.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's understandable, especially after you just get thrown in cold in a practice.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: I do a quarter did throw a punch earlier in one-on-one.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: I told you I was going to give you a little recap of the one on one and I have it right here.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Jonah booked the win against 91 proctor was stout against 93.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: Wallace and Meyer lose two reps badly, Campbell anchors versus 90.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the dolphins off the top line held up pretty well on the one on one.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: They had a bitch of a time block in the giants in team period.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: uh... those most of these but those blitzes were just getting in on it so that's something that they're obviously going to have to work on uh... yeah Patrick Paul and Abdul Carter got into it going back and forth talking trash to each other and Abdul Carter through a a punch was one of those situations where i guess Patrick Paul i guess started mocking him after a rush
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know how that is.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick Paulkin can get into you pretty good and cause an issue.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: There were several, I thought it was one brawl on the far field.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: There wasn't clear who started it, but we do know the Harrison and Zeke Piggers were involved.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: And all the rumors, I saw Jackson Dart and, you know, somebody had to tell Jackson Dart like, buddy, there's a giant melee right there with a bunch of big giant men.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: You go in the other direction.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: He ran in to try to break it up, who knows what the hell he was trying to do.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: And the next thing, you know, Jackson Dart went rolling out of there.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was a bad thing and a bad look.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: I thought for the most part, once you had that issue, we pretty much had a practice that devolved and look every time that there's a fight, practice gets stopped for like 10 minutes.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: People get talked to.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: People get taken out of the practice.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now you got to use guys on the second team on the first team.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Guys on the third team are not playing on the second team.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: The
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: You only out there for a certain amount of time.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know that practice is going to be called at 11.50 and you're out here throwing punches at 11.20 and you don't resume the action until 11.30.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought that once the fight started, I thought the practice kind of became a mess.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I thought it was instruct of the last play of the game is a 39-yard field goal.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: The last play of practice, I should say, is a 39-yard field goal by the giants and we
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: So, very unprofessional, I think by both teams today, like there's no reason to fight, you're playing football out there.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: You're allowed to hit people, like you weren't in pads.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like maybe you're not allowed to take it to the ground, but it was mostly offensive linemen and defensive linemen that were getting into it all day.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, come on, like you could actually take it out on each other in that regard.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I felt underwhelmed.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: I thought both, look, I don't give a crap how many, you fucking, you know, Completions, Jackson, Dardhead.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: I thought both offenses were poor and I asked around like, Hey, how's the how's it going on the other field?
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: And everybody kept telling me the same thing.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: Dolphins were the slight edge, which means that the dolphins were kicking the crap out of them, okay?
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because we know how most people like to report off
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: not the Dolphins, right?
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I later got a rundown of what was going on.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of short passes that were going nowhere.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of third downs that were not converted on the other field.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, you had the Jacob Rodriguez Interception.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: I was told the chopper, I was supposed to play very well.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was getting in.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: He was getting a lot of pressure off the edge.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought the offensive were were pretty much garbage.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I know what I saw in the near
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: Offence wasn't good.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, usually these guys will say, oh, we got a great day of work today.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they got a good day of work today.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: And today was teach tape for those that hate joint practices.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that the preseason games are better.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: And how can you argue with them because a preseason game hardly, if ever, is going to have as many fights as we had today, I think we had what was in it.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: You had the first one in one on one, then you had one on the opposite end end of the field.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: So that's two.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: two in the early team period that's four, then two more that's six, about seven fights, seven fights, they had the one to end practice.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: So about seven fights today, seven skirmishes because the only fight that was actually any good was the one on the far field because you saw the mob of people just moving all over the far field and toward the indoor facility and toward the medical tent.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of funny.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: It was just like a mob moving around and coaches trying to get in there
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I thought that was a mess and today was essentially the argument for not having joined practices because usually coaches and trust me, these coaches are going to say, oh, we got great work today.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: We got great work today.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: This was fabulous work that we got here.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they got good work.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think today was a general a pretty giant waste of time.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: There was at least 30 minutes thrown away standing around waiting for fights to break up.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'll give the slide edge to the Giants at that that their defense made more plays against the Dolphin Offence.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Neither Offence was good, neither Offence was scoring all that much, again, like I said, over 12 in the Red Zone, both Offences.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll give the Giants a slide edge at that the Giants defense was better than the Dolphins defense, although the Dolphins defense didn't allow too much.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: In the Team Perry Declos practice, they had one restart for the Dolphins.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: And with the restart, the score was three to three.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Without the restart, I have the score three to nothing.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: Giants.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll give the Giants a slight edge, but did they get a lot of work?
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of good work on this day?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: They did it.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: They wasted a lot of time breaking up fights today.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, football season is here, and Thursday's Saturday's Sunday's aim Monday's just got more interesting.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: The my bookie locker the season is back, and the first one is an absolute no-brainer.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: With the Patriots in Seattle for the NFL kickoff, my bookie is asking one simple question.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: Will the Seahawks raise their championship banner that night?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: Of course they will.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: The defending champs, it's their home opener, and raising the banner before kickoff, is part of the celebration, and you're getting that bet.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: at plus money odds.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's the first my bookie lock of the season and there'll be more coming all season long.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: Download the app today or click on the link in the description, sign up with a promo code 3yard, and start your season off with a win.

- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: In the regular season, we will do only offense Q&A live on our Discord.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: What does our Discord do you ask?

- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's get these questions.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: First question, when do you see Jay Rod?
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: Jake Rodriguez being named the starter.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: Also, is his mustache top five right now?
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take the mustache second, but first, when do I see Jay Rod being named the starter?
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: Very soon, I would say.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: Terrell Dodson found some type of injury today.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: Set out a few snaps, we will learn more.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: I guess on Saturday, when the coach speaks to the media, they'll tell us what's going on with Terrell Dodson.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: As far as J. Rod's mustache top five, man, that thing is kind of Keith Hernandez's ask.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's glorious.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: Made a play too.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: Interception today.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: So good on Jacob Rodriguez.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: I also like that after the, you know, after the practice he was asked about his, his interception and he kind of put it like I don't care.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: So it was third and long and I took a pick.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, okay, that's great.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's great.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: That he doesn't give a crap about interceptions in a joint practice because that's the proper attitude to have.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: You should care about them in the regular season when they actually do matter.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: Next question.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: Draft question.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Holy shit.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: A draft question in August.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'll take it.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: J.S.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: said in an earlier interview, one of the highest evaluations he ever had was on Jamar Chase.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the one who quoted him on that.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: If you've used Jeremiah Smith in a similar bucket as he pulled a trigger, are you goto?
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: You have to.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Or go for QB1, Edge1, Leonard Moore, and stick to the Green Bay model for later picks for wide receivers.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good question because what if Chris Bell and Kettle Douglas look like stars, right?
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: Look like or long term, they don't have to look like stars.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: They just look like long term contributors, like good wide receivers.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: You might think that you have an edge there and you may not take a corner back, but I'm pretty certain you could get a whole for any draft pick that could land you Jeremiah Smith, right?
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: I do like Leonard Moore a lot.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: I would rather take the hall.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: If you're happy with what you have a wide receiver, man, I'd rather get a bunch of picks for Jeremiah Smith.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: And that's precisely the type of guy that does get you a polypix.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: Think, Julio Jones.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's for Jeremiah Smith as by the way.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's essentially Julio Jones.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: Look at what Julio Jones fetched.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: So you could get a similar hall.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I'd be I'd be selling
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: But I'd only be selling if I'm pretty certain the Caleb Douglas and Chris Bellon, who knows maybe even Kevin Coleman, who's come on the last couple of days if I think I have something there then yeah, I'm selling and I'm taking a bunch of pics in return.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: Next question, why does everyone want to paint the practices in the extreme?
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's an obsession right now with your own practices.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: There's an obsession that no.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember the subsets used to exist for the Dress for Hercel.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: Remember the Dress for Hercel in preseason?
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: People used to watch starters versus starters.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: And holy shit, we lost seven to nothing.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: We're doomed.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it's reserved for, I guess, joint practices.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's like, everybody just in a general freak out mode during joint practices, since saying.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, it's kind of dumb.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: But like I said, I give the edge to the giants, but to think that the giants were good today, you gotta be insane.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't care, no matter how many giants' homers come out of the woodwork, their offense was garbage today, along with the Dolphins, but I gave the giants a slid-edge, their defense made a few more plagues.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: Both offenses turned it over once, so there you go.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: Next question.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: uh... how the line hold up against a solid defense afric well i think i i spoke about that that problems uh... that problems blocking blitz is burns gave them all kinds of fits and ghosting was in the backfield of time so i thought the offensive line was poor today next question does half leaks said in expectation
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: and he has of what he wants to see with the players before doing practice well one of those expectations was that he didn't want to see any fights there was seven of them today so i'm pretty sure that he's gonna have something to say and yeah he spoke to a bunch of players out there
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: Next question who showed out today both expected and the surprise hmm as a surprise not many oh I guess Kevin Coleman Kevin Coleman was was pretty sharp on his routes I did make that one great catch where he took a hit from Javan Hall and any held on to it
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: On the defensive side of the ball, we heard that Jacob Rodriguez made plays.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: I heard Chop Robinson could not be blocked off the edge.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll give it to those three guys, but it wasn't a great day overall for the Dolphins.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: Are there any players?
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: Is the next question?
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: Are there any players on the Dolphins roster?
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: You think maybe trade it?
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: Or during the season, yes, Tyrell Dodson because I don't see the point in Paying his salary if he's not going to start if Jacob Rodriguez is gonna take all those snaps Then we're gonna pay Tyrell Dodson what we pay him to play what to be the backup will and I mean the backup Mike and play on special teams No So we know Jordan Brooks has has one spot if Jacob gets the other then
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: There's kind of no use for them, really.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: And if you can monetize them and get an asset for them, I would do it.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I think Tarol Dodson is that guy.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: Next question did dark visit his tent.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: He almost did like in that melee.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: He went in there like I don't know what the hell he was going in there to do But he came out of their role in so I heard that one giants beat writer said that the Dolphins took a cheap shot on Jackson dark Look, you know, I hope you know, I hope that that wasn't the case All right, but come on come on
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think special teams will be improved this year?
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, in one specific regard.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think they have a lot of returners.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think that look, Rieger has looked good in returns.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I like Kevin Coleman.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: Kevin Coleman's a guy who's always been great at it.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's, you know, some will call him a specialist.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I can't wait to see him to start, see him start returning punts and kickoffs.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: But like Jay the Wright, good return as well.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: next question.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think we got a few more.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's practice and read jerseys but I saw some tweets that said the ruffs were blowing the whistle for sex early in many cases agree in a real game how much do you think would be actual sex?
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: I absolutely agree.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: Whoever made that that that that deduction that that observation is absolutely correct.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the where the ruffer were like really happy to blow whistles today and stop the action.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe that maybe there
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: But man, like guys were coming off the edge and there weren't a long quarterback stable move up or or move up in the pocket or escape the pocket.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, hey, hey, hey, here come the whistles again and they were just handing out sacks and and stopping place like it was stop plays right away.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: Like a guy come off of the edge.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: They wouldn't let the the the quarterback throw the ball hot.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: That was just blow the whistle.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I think that goes with what I was saying.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think they got a
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, next question.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: Even with this, who's posted his Pat Paul looking good, a great look, I don't worry about Patrick Paul.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: I did not think he was good today.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: I know he had one holding penalty that he got away with.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: That the ref, I guess the ref just choked as he saw the play.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: Or the ball was away as soon as Patrick Paul held.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: But, and I hate to be one of those guys.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: That says, up, I had holding here.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: with an official just staring at the play and the official didn't throw the flag but i thought he got away with one today on one play uh... house joe jona and can't do it today i did not think that they were very good uh... and again he has we're going to trade dotson uh... uh... hello yeah i've been saying all the long if if take a budget is going to be starter then what's to use the keeping taro dotson right
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: Next question, how close are Bell and Sealer looking to being full participants back in practice think Bell is ready for the start of the season?
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Sealer was not in pads, he was sprinting on the side, he was getting a lot of work and look, we already got our update on Sealer, he's playing week 1 against the Raiders.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to be ready for the regular season on Chris Bell.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: He had the red, uh, no contact jersey today, but he was in full pads and he was doing some work in the individual drills.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think he's going to play on Saturday, but I wouldn't put it past him to play against the Falcons the following week.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Next question.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, I'm going to take, uh,
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take four.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: Was the offense just out of sync or indicative of season, some games, and some thinkers?
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think there was a bunch of factors.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: The fights were part of it.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: There was no rhythm.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Giants were also blitzing a ton, and that had the offense completely out of sync.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, next question.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: Also apparently some guy named Jordan ran in from ESPN said this was the best practice All summer from the Giants offense said Jackson dart looked in control.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Is that BS?
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's BS completely BS if it's if that's the best practice That Jackson dart is had and they went over 12 in the red zone Then good god they got issues on that offense
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: Next question, Sully did say his highest non-cuby of Val was to Mara Chase.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I'm the one who quoted him on that.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: He said it in an interview that not many people picked up up.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Believe it was with Travis Winfield.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, last question, anything which was promising from today, promising from today there was one play that did pop to me and that was the giants came with damn nearer zero blitz and Malik Washington broke off his route into like a little hook and Malik Willis hit him and Malik Washington was running and if this was a game
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: who knows where he gets, but in this practice when the whistle's blue he had about 21 yards on the play on the blitz.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: That caught my, uh, another play that caught my was the toss to A Chan work as merit just kicked out, uh, at the quarter and Jay Chan had a lane and trust me, Devon A Chan is beating Javan Hall into the end zone.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: That would have been a 70 yard touchdown.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: There was a couple other plays to that middle screen, a middle screen that I recognized from last year, and a middle screen that I've recognized for a couple of years now in the Dolphin Offence with Mike Big Damiel.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess Bobby Slow is saying, you know what I'm going to throw this into this playbook.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: They executed that one and it popped to Devon HN.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: Other than that, yeah, not much more Kevin Coleman continues to impress.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: I was very happy with him making that catch on third down, converting the first down, taking the hit and holding on to the football.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: All right, that's it.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: There is no more.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: The next time you hear from us, it will be of three yards per carry show, a proper three yards per carry show.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: I believe that that's going to be a little bit later on today.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: But that's it for me from the camp report, a little housekeeping.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: There's a game on Saturday.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: Next week, you have practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: They are closed to the public.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: Open to the media, however, and I will be there to cover it for you.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I will offer my last three camp reports of the camp season next week.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: But, till then.
