- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to the monarchy, there has
- 0:07been scandal after a scandal that they've been able to
- 0:10definitely navigate, whether it was Princess Diana or anything else,
- 0:16they've usually come out on top. However, the situation with
- 0:20Prince Andrew is an anchor that is really weighing the
- 0:23monarchy down and I don't see them getting out from
- 0:26underneath it anytime soon, especially considering that people, including Epstein's
- 0:31survivors themselves, think that the Palace is still engaging in
- 0:35a cover up. And I have to agree. You know,
- 0:40I know a lot of people out there are like, well,
- 0:42the UK is making moves, they're arresting people, but is
- 0:46it for show? Do they know that they're not going
- 0:48to get the information from the Americans, so they're just
- 0:51doing this to show the British people, Hey, look we're
- 0:54doing something. We tried our best. It was those damn
- 0:58Americans that screwed it all up. And while I'm sure
- 1:02there is a little bit of truth to that about
- 1:04America not playing ball, there's a lot more meat on
- 1:07this bone then the Palace wants to admit and not
- 1:11all of it has to do with Jeffrey Epstein. So
- 1:13when it comes to Prince Andrew, I'd say that the
- 1:16cover up is well under way, except this time it's
- 1:19being directed from the Palace and not from ten Downing Street,
- 1:24and the chorus of criticism against the Palace and the
- 1:27Crown and this cover up continue to grow. So today
- 1:31we have an article from the Telegraph and the headline
- 1:34Epstein's survivor accuses Palace of cover up. This article was
- 1:37authored by Natasha Leak, a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein, has
- 1:41accused Buckingham Palace of covering up the actions of Andrew
- 1:45mount Batton. Winsor. Jess Michaels, who was sexually assaulted by
- 1:49Epstein in nineteen ninety one when she was twenty two
- 1:52years old, claimed the Institution had failed to act on
- 1:55evidence that he had leaked confidential government information. And that's
- 2:00a fact. They knew they had this information all the
- 2:04way back in twenty twenty, and they did nothing with
- 2:07it because they were covering up what was going on
- 2:11with Epstein, and of course Prince Andrew's partner it and
- 2:15the Palace had to cover it up. What are they
- 2:17going to do out Prince Andrew, the Queen's favorite boy.
- 2:20She would have never allowed it. But now that she's gone,
- 2:24it's her relatives that have to deal with it. William
- 2:27and Charles, the rest of them are left hold in
- 2:30the bag when the Queen could have fixed this a
- 2:32long time ago. Speaking to the Telegraph, she accused the
- 2:36Palace of protecting mister mount Batton Windsor after I had
- 2:39received emails six years ago showing that he had shared
- 2:42sensitive government information with a business contact while he was
- 2:46a trade endvoy. Six years ago. The Palace knew Andrew
- 2:50wasn't just a problem, he could face criminal investigation, and
- 2:53they sat on it. Miss Michael said in a statement
- 2:56to the Telegraph. Look, she is not wrong. That's what
- 2:59a up is. You have the information and you sit
- 3:03on it because you know it's damaging. The people of
- 3:06the UK deserve so much better that it's not even funny.
- 3:11And I know everybody likes to pile on, you know,
- 3:13the administration here in America, and they've earned it. But
- 3:17let's not act like what's going on over in the
- 3:19UK is all fine and well. It most certainly is not.
- 3:24And if they can find a way to stash this
- 3:26and kill the story. That's what they're gonna do too.
- 3:29And I hate to admit it, but they've been pretty
- 3:30effective at killing the story over the past couple of months.
- 3:34Whether it's with Iran or something else, they've done a
- 3:37pretty good job. Miss Michaels, who was a professional dancer
- 3:42in New York City when Epstein assaulted her, added that
- 3:45the failure to act had wider moral consequences for survivors
- 3:49and others connected to the case. And there's zero doubt
- 3:52that all of the questioning, all of the doubting of
- 3:57Virginia took a toll on her. And the saddest part is,
- 4:00in my opinion, she was telling the truth. Imagine going
- 4:04through your life being malign like that, telling everybody the truth,
- 4:08as embarrassing as it is, and you still have people
- 4:11out here that are doubting you, calling you all kinds
- 4:13of crazy names. Sure, let's protect Prince Andrew, though protecting
- 4:20him meant doubting her. Virginia Roberts was telling the truth
- 4:23and she didn't live to see them. Admit it. That
- 4:26breaks my heart and it should break everyone's. I agree
- 4:29with that too, It should if anyone deserved to see
- 4:31Andrew's downfall, and most certainly was Virginia. She's the one
- 4:35that exposed them. She's the one that actually put her
- 4:37name on the line to bring this to light. So
- 4:40if anyone deserved to see this happen, it was her.
- 4:43So with her not being around, I think we owe
- 4:46it to her to make sure that we hold Prince
- 4:48Andrew's feet to the fire and we make sure we
- 4:50got as close to justice as we possibly can. And
- 4:53if that shit makes me the asshole or the bad guy, cool,
- 4:56I have zero problem being that person. This is what
- 5:02institutions do. They protect powerful men and leave people they
- 5:05harmed to carry it. Miss Michaels said that she was
- 5:10glad UK was investigating mister mount Batten Windsor, describing it
- 5:14as the very least that they could do. I'm glad
- 5:17the UK is finally investigating, she told the telegraphs, a
- 5:20little late, but it's the very least that they could do. Meanwhile,
- 5:24our own government named us as victims, shields the men
- 5:27who harmed us, and still treats us like the problem. Unfortunately,
- 5:31that's how they look at the girls as a problem,
- 5:34a problem for their narrative, a problem when they say,
- 5:37move on. How can you look at these women, these
- 5:41girls who were abused and want to move on, unless,
- 5:44of course, you believe that they're lying. And they're sure
- 5:47as a lot of people out there these days that
- 5:49believe that, which is crazy because most of them are
- 5:52the same people that believe that Tom Hanks was drinking
- 5:55baby's blood down in Gitmo, the same people that couldn't
- 5:58shut up about h O this and pedal that. But
- 6:01all of a sudden, they don't want to talk about
- 6:03quote unquote conspiracies. They don't want to talk about child abusers.
- 6:06I wonder why mister mount Batton Winsor's association with Jeffrey
- 6:13Epstein has been the subject to sustained public and legal
- 6:16scrutiny for several years. Several years, I think you mean
- 6:19a decade and a half or so. Virginia Roberts, one
- 6:24of Epstein's most prominent accusers, claimed that she had been
- 6:27trafficked to Mount Baton Winsor when she was seventeen years old.
- 6:31In February, on his sixty sixth birthday, mister mount Baton
- 6:35Windsor was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office
- 6:39or allegations that he passed sensitive government information to Epstein
- 6:43while working as a trade endvoy. I don't even know
- 6:45if it's an allegation. We saw the emails. Now they're
- 6:48going to split hers right and say, oh this was
- 6:51illegal or this was legal. Oh this was out of line,
- 6:54but it didn't cross the line, you know, the whole thing.
- 6:57But the emails are what they are, and he sends
- 7:01sensitive information to his pedophile buddy. That's it. That's the story.
- 7:07So now the question is what's the UK government going
- 7:10to do about it. Paperwork released as part of the
- 7:14Epstein files appears to show mister Mount Baton Windsor forwarding
- 7:18official reports in November twenty ten relating to trips to
- 7:22Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and China. He denies all wrongdoing.
- 7:26Oh imagine that he denies all wrongdoing, The same guy
- 7:31that lied to us in the BBC interview. Sure, let's
- 7:34believe what Prince Andrew has to say. Correlated documents indicate
- 7:41that Buckingham Palace was provided with large volumes of correspondence
- 7:45in twenty twenty that raised questions about mister Mount Batton
- 7:48Winsor's conduct in public office. According to the documents. The
- 7:52Lord Chamberlain, the palace's most senior official, received a tranch
- 7:56of around thirty thousand emails, including some relating to mount
- 8:00Batten Winsor. So they had all this information, all these
- 8:04documents previously they did shit about it. So who's going
- 8:07to answer for that? Whose decision was that? The former
- 8:13Prince is understood to have forwarded correspondence to Jonathan Rowland,
- 8:17a close friend and former chief executive of Bank Haviland
- 8:21during his time as Trade Envoy between two thousand and
- 8:24one and twenty eleven. The emergence of these claims has
- 8:27increased scrutiny of the Palace. How much was known about
- 8:31mister mount Batton Winsor at the time and what action,
- 8:34if any, was taken over his actions? Look all valid questions,
- 8:39and if the Palace knew about this, why didn't they act?
- 8:43Who told them that they should sit on it? And
- 8:47when we talk about a cover up, this is what
- 8:49we mean and I think we've only seen the very
- 8:52beginnings of it. Over in the UK, on Saturday, Rachel Maskell,
- 8:57the Labor MP for York Central, called for a publican increy,
- 9:00saying that the system built around the royal household has
- 9:03to be reviewed. Sharing an appearance on BBC's Radio four
- 9:06Today program, the web grows ever darker and that's why
- 9:10we've got to address an issue of unaccountable power and
- 9:14also the abuse of power in high office, she said.
- 9:16She added that she wanted a joint committee of members
- 9:19from the House of Commons and the House of Lords
- 9:21to be established to scrutinize the Royal household. That's a
- 9:25great idea. There needs to be some oversight, some accountability,
- 9:29but when it comes to the Palace, we hardly see it.
- 9:32They just do whatever they want, whenever they want to
- 9:34do it. When asked by the BBC about the emails,
- 9:38Buckingham Palace said, since there's an ongoing police inquiry concerning
- 9:42mister mount Batten Windsor, it's not possible to provide any
- 9:45comment on these matters. Buckingham Palace declined to comment when
- 9:49contacted by the Telegraph and Buckingham Palace's favorite comment is
- 9:54no comment. That's something we've seen for years now and
- 9:58it's something that served them well. They've been able to
- 10:00get away with it because they've been afforded a lot
- 10:03of privacy over in the UK and of course, accountability
- 10:06is not something that they can even pronounce when it
- 10:09comes to the Royal family. They're never held accountable for anything.
- 10:13So the question is is that going to change with
- 10:16Prince Andrew or are we just going to get more
- 10:19of the same. All of the information that goes with
- 10:22this episode can be found in the description box.
