- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Have big Friday, friends, Thank you so much for starting
- 0:05Speaker 2: yours with us. It's going to be a great weekend
- 0:07Speaker 2: and it starts right now. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Cardi b has had her fourth child.
- 0:12Speaker 4: This is her first kid with her boyfriend Stefan Diggs,
- 0:15Speaker 4: who plays in the NFL. They welcome to baby boy,
- 0:19Speaker 4: so congratulations to them. He celebrated last night on the
- 0:23Speaker 4: football field with the game best nine receptions for one
- 0:25Speaker 4: hundred and five yards. And now Cardi is going to
- 0:27Speaker 4: celebrate by gearing up for her next tour that kicks
- 0:30Speaker 4: off early next year. I believe like three or four
- 0:33Speaker 4: months away.
- 0:33Speaker 3: So good for her to have a fourth kid and
- 0:37Speaker 3: be ready to go on tour. That is not easy
- 0:40Speaker 3: to do. But congrats to both of them.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Got some sad news now, Nashville SC captain Walker Zimmerman
- 0:47Speaker 4: is leaving US.
- 0:49Speaker 3: He's headed first free agency.
- 0:51Speaker 4: According to GM Mike Jacobs, he spent six seasons with
- 0:55Speaker 4: the Nashville He's a member of the US men's national
- 0:58Speaker 4: soccer team, and I know that national is really gonna
- 1:00Speaker 4: miss him. So this is a big bummer, but we
- 1:02Speaker 4: wish him the best at the same time. You know,
- 1:04Speaker 4: we're allowed to be sad and also excited for him.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Two things can be true at the same time. Bitter
- 1:08Speaker 4: Sweet and Trader Joe's has added to their viral bag
- 1:12Speaker 4: lineup with a tiny micro tote bag. So these new
- 1:15Speaker 4: totes are a canvas microtote They're only like four by
- 1:19Speaker 4: five by three by five inches, so they're teeny tiny.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Two ninety nine is what they cost. They come in red, green,
- 1:26Speaker 4: or blue. But this is the thing you might think, oh,
- 1:29Speaker 4: a thing that's small, it can't fit anything inside. There
- 1:33Speaker 4: is a reusable tote so it holds another toe, so
- 1:37Speaker 4: it's still practical despite how small it is. And it's
- 1:40Speaker 4: a nice little way to hold a reusable tote bag
- 1:42Speaker 4: if you're gonna go shopping at Trader Joe's. Fans are
- 1:45Speaker 4: loving them online. They're getting creative with ways to use them.
- 1:48Speaker 4: They're doing keyholders, mini purses, Christmas ornaments with them. They're
- 1:53Speaker 4: available now nationwide at all of the stores, and obviously
- 1:56Speaker 4: they're gonna sell out, just like every single tote bag
- 1:59Speaker 4: that Trader Joe's makes sells out so fast.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:05Speaker 5: It is still just so weird to me. The things
- 2:06Speaker 5: that catch on and go viral like that, like those two.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Never you can never guess what it's going to be.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I know, did Starbucks did?
- 2:13Speaker 2: I know that's what they were trying to do with
- 2:15Speaker 2: that little bear, like their little barrista.
- 2:16Speaker 5: That they released.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I feel like I kept seeing pictures of that, but
- 2:19Speaker 2: I don't think it's quite as on fire.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Did go kind of viral, but it's not the same,
- 2:24Speaker 4: I don't think. And honestly, Elegy here in Nashville does
- 2:28Speaker 4: the honey Bears.
- 2:29Speaker 6: They did it first.
- 2:30Speaker 7: They do.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Starbucks ripped them off.
- 2:32Speaker 3: They did it first, and Elergy tastes better.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Those Elergy burritos. Man, treat yourself to an Elgie burrito.
- 2:38Speaker 5: He's Friday Love.
- 2:39Speaker 3: ELERGI burrito are bomb too.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Drive in for one of these burritas. You're not going
- 2:44Speaker 5: to regret it. Thank you, Ricky.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Let's get back into the music. Here's Alex Warren. We
- 2:47Speaker 2: have more tickets into Lame visit Teapac. Last chance of
- 2:51Speaker 2: the week to get them one.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Seven, Nicky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Happy Friday.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Everyone, I'm sure is as excited as we are to
- 2:59Speaker 4: make it to Friday.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It's one of seven.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Five the River. David and Harrisburg. Good morning. How's your
- 3:04Speaker 4: Friday morning going so far? Oh you've got off work,
- 3:08Speaker 4: so you do the night shift.
- 3:09Speaker 3: What do you do, David?
- 3:10Speaker 5: I'm a pretzel packer, kutzel packer.
- 3:13Speaker 7: Wait?
- 3:14Speaker 6: What kind of pretzels?
- 3:15Speaker 5: All kinds of pretzels are they?
- 3:17Speaker 7: Like?
- 3:17Speaker 8: The I was singing the big jumbo pretzels you buy
- 3:22Speaker 8: from the concession stands.
- 3:23Speaker 7: Zech is so excited about this.
- 3:26Speaker 6: I love pretzels.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Did you guys do little bags like snack sized bags
- 3:30Speaker 2: or big bags or all of the.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Love all the I love that you guys are just
- 3:33Speaker 4: naming random literally, David said, all kinds of pretzels, And
- 3:36Speaker 4: you guys are naming random types of.
- 3:38Speaker 2: What about those little Hawaiian pretzels they give you on
- 3:40Speaker 2: a Southwest flight?
- 3:41Speaker 5: Those are so good?
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yo?
- 3:43Speaker 6: They sell those at Kroger Now, I love those, David.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Do you normally get this response when you say that
- 3:48Speaker 4: you packed pretzels?
- 3:49Speaker 7: No?
- 3:51Speaker 5: Only here, only Pttel people.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Totally makes sense. Wait, I will ask, I think what
- 3:57Speaker 4: most people genuinely want to know. Do you get to
- 4:00Speaker 4: take a lot of pretzels home?
- 4:01Speaker 2: Yeah? Two bags?
- 4:02Speaker 5: A week, two bags a week.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, so you get to try all the different
- 4:07Speaker 4: flavors and different you get, like your favorite ones.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I would love that. I'm all about if it's free,
- 4:12Speaker 3: it's for me. So if my job gives me something
- 4:14Speaker 3: for free, I'm taking it.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Living on pretzels. What about snack factory pretzel chips? Did
- 4:20Speaker 5: you have any whatever? Those are called pretzel crisps.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Uh.
- 4:23Speaker 3: We tried them sometime this summer, but.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It didn't work out. Those flat ones, those are those
- 4:28Speaker 2: are the bomb in my house.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Okay, David, we can keep asking you about pretzels for
- 4:33Speaker 4: apparently hours, but I'm very excited to tell you that
- 4:37Speaker 4: you are the first color of the day on one
- 4:39Speaker 4: of seven five of the River.
- 4:40Speaker 3: You are getting these tickets to see lame is a
- 4:41Speaker 3: Teapac next year in January.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Okay, okay, that's my favorite response ever to winning something.
- 4:49Speaker 8: Okay, when you come downtown to go to tea pack,
- 4:54Speaker 8: can you please bring us some pretzels?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:57Speaker 5: Yeah, not requirement. We can't make you do that. Thank
- 5:00Speaker 5: you for listening.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Broke a record for the amount of times we said
- 5:04Speaker 4: pretzels in two minutes.
- 5:07Speaker 2: We're gonna let this man go to sleep, hang on
- 5:09Speaker 2: so we can get your information.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Nice to meet you, hang on, have fun at le miss.
- 5:13Speaker 5: All right, Okay, thank you God.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Who knew my Friday would start with the Pretzel King.
- 5:17Speaker 5: I'm so excited for the Pretzel King of Nashville.
- 5:21Speaker 6: I love him so much.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 5:28Speaker 4: It's hard to keep up with things happening here in
- 5:29Speaker 4: Nashville because there's just so much every weekend. So every Friday,
- 5:34Speaker 4: on one of seven, five of the River, Zach puts
- 5:35Speaker 4: together a list of some things that you can get
- 5:37Speaker 4: into this weekend. Family stuff. Just you know, if you
- 5:41Speaker 4: like bar hopping, if you like activities outside. He's always
- 5:45Speaker 4: got everything that you can imagine. So Zach tell us
- 5:48Speaker 4: what we can do this weekend.
- 5:48Speaker 8: And now let's break it down and start with the
- 5:51Speaker 8: Franklin Farmers Market. It is tomorrow from eleven am to
- 5:54Speaker 8: four pm.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Listen.
- 5:56Speaker 8: It's completely free. They're gonna have a bunch of family
- 5:58Speaker 8: friendly festivity. They're gonna have a bunch of different vendors.
- 6:01Speaker 8: They're gonna have free photos with Santaja is.
- 6:05Speaker 3: So busy already, guys.
- 6:06Speaker 8: Yeah, So Santa is gonna be there at the Franklin
- 6:09Speaker 8: Farmer's Market tomorrow that's eleven am to four pm. Also
- 6:13Speaker 8: Ricky mentioned this earlier, but goat Yoga is also happening
- 6:17Speaker 8: tomorrow morning at ten thirty and the address is twenty
- 6:20Speaker 8: six twenty six York Road is where you can go
- 6:23Speaker 8: to do it. And so you go do yoga with
- 6:26Speaker 8: goat and they're gonna be dressed up.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Goat with oata, do yoga with goats.
- 6:33Speaker 8: The goats are gonna be dressed up, so they're gonna
- 6:35Speaker 8: be so ready for you and your goat yoga.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Also wait, it says dressed up in like sweaters.
- 6:41Speaker 8: Yeah, I have to go, guys, Christmas.
- 6:45Speaker 6: I've never done.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yoga before in my life, but oh my god. Also
- 6:49Speaker 4: the place is called Goat Yoga Nashville, just so you know.
- 6:53Speaker 8: Also, this is one of my favorite things that happens
- 6:55Speaker 8: every single year. But Christmas Village is officially back Cutie
- 7:00Speaker 8: at the Nashville fair Grounds. It is all week and
- 7:02Speaker 8: long at the Nashville Fairgrounds. They have like over two
- 7:04Speaker 8: hundred and fifty different merchants.
- 7:07Speaker 6: So they have like toys, clothing, jewelry, home decor.
- 7:09Speaker 8: They have so much stuff to get you in the
- 7:12Speaker 8: holiday spirit, so you can decorate for Christmas. You can
- 7:14Speaker 8: buy presents. Tickets are fifteen dollars online or at the door,
- 7:18Speaker 8: whichever you prefer. This is also really cute. Sewarts Creek
- 7:23Speaker 8: Middle School Craft Fair is tomorrow from nine to three,
- 7:27Speaker 8: so you can just go to Stewart's Creek Middle School
- 7:29Speaker 8: and they're gonna have a bunch of different vendors offering
- 7:31Speaker 8: homemade goods, crafts, tasty treats from food trucks.
- 7:34Speaker 6: It's a full family friendly event.
- 7:36Speaker 8: You just go to Sewart's Creek Middle School tomorrow from
- 7:39Speaker 8: nine to three. It's in Smyrna, by the way. And
- 7:42Speaker 8: then lastly, Kevin, I feel like you're really.
- 7:45Speaker 6: Gonna love this one.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Ready, I'm ready, I'm ready.
- 7:46Speaker 8: It is the Nissan Smyrna Recycling Pickup And if you
- 7:50Speaker 8: don't know what that means, this actually makes me really excited.
- 7:52Speaker 8: So you bring all of your hard to recycle items
- 7:55Speaker 8: to the Nissan Smyrna Recycling Roundup.
- 7:58Speaker 6: And so basically you just take it to the newe
- 8:00Speaker 6: On plant, Smyrna.
- 8:01Speaker 8: So they're accepting things like tires, mattresses, scrap metal, styrofoam, all.
- 8:07Speaker 6: Of these different things.
- 8:08Speaker 5: So things that are hard to get rid of.
- 8:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 8: So, and then the other cool part is is local
- 8:13Speaker 8: vendors are actually processing the materials to reduce landfill waste.
- 8:17Speaker 7: I love this.
- 8:18Speaker 8: They're actually going to be using this. This is great
- 8:21Speaker 8: throwing it in the landfill.
- 8:22Speaker 5: We need to make this a regular thing. I like that.
- 8:24Speaker 5: We honestly do so.
- 8:25Speaker 8: If you have a bunch of like really hard to
- 8:27Speaker 8: recycle items, take them to the Nissan plant. It is
- 8:29Speaker 8: Saturday from nine to one and you can just drop
- 8:31Speaker 8: it off there. It'll be recycled, process and taking care of.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Their wonderful love it. Yeah, it's a busy weekend, Thank you, Zach.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Very comprehensive list.
- 8:39Speaker 8: A lot going on, cat job Buddy, three things.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Happy Friday, friends, Let's go just after seven o'clock. Ricky
- 8:47Speaker 2: Sanchez is our top dog and she's about to lay
- 8:49Speaker 2: down the law.
- 8:51Speaker 5: Ricky, what's going on? Top Dog?
- 8:55Speaker 4: Law Facts has confirmed Shogun two is gonna start filming
- 9:01Speaker 4: next year.
- 9:02Speaker 3: This is huge. Filming is gonna happen in.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Vancouver in January with several new cast members. The season
- 9:08Speaker 4: picks up ten years later, continuing the story. It's going
- 9:12Speaker 4: to continue to see how Turanaka and Black Thorn, their
- 9:17Speaker 4: lives weave together. The episodes will air on FX and Hulu.
- 9:21Speaker 3: This is huge.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Everybody's really excited. Fans are going nuts on social media.
- 9:25Speaker 4: They got eighteen Emmy wins, which is a record breaking
- 9:29Speaker 4: for the first season, so they know what they're doing.
- 9:31Speaker 4: I think I'm actually gonna start watching now that there's
- 9:33Speaker 4: gonna be a second season because I want to see, you.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Know, what all the hype is about. I always love
- 9:37Speaker 3: to see what all the hype is about, so I'm
- 9:38Speaker 3: gonna start watching it probably this weekend.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Twelve South is getting a new sushi restaurant with a
- 9:43Speaker 4: walk up window, and by getting, I mean it's already open,
- 9:46Speaker 4: so Sushi San. They serve things like nagiri, sashimi, maki
- 9:53Speaker 4: hand rolls, They have.
- 9:54Speaker 5: Small plates, sixty.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Five different Japanese whiskeys as well. Zach and I are
- 9:59Speaker 4: going to to try it out, so we will definitely
- 10:01Speaker 4: report back from our experience.
- 10:03Speaker 3: We are super pumped about it. We're gonna have lunch
- 10:05Speaker 3: there tomorrow.
- 10:06Speaker 4: But it looks amazing, so we will keep you posted
- 10:09Speaker 4: on how good it is.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And Dorito's and Cheetos.
- 10:12Speaker 4: They have debuted colorless naked options and KD is what
- 10:17Speaker 4: it's called. Yesterday, Pepsi Coo announced that their new colorless
- 10:20Speaker 4: products will be for Dorito's Nacho cheese, cool Ranch flavors
- 10:24Speaker 4: and Cheeto puffs and Flame and Hop flavors.
- 10:27Speaker 3: So these are dubbed simply naked and KD.
- 10:29Speaker 4: They're gonna be made without artificial flavors or dies, so
- 10:32Speaker 4: their color is gonna be pale yellow as opposed to
- 10:35Speaker 4: the other colors that you're used to. The announcement comes
- 10:38Speaker 4: from pressure, you know, by the federal regulators who say
- 10:41Speaker 4: that they're gonna start phasing out petroleum based synthetic dyes
- 10:44Speaker 4: in our food supply by the end of next year,
- 10:47Speaker 4: so they're getting ahead of the curve. They can be
- 10:49Speaker 4: pre ordered immediately online and you can find them in
- 10:52Speaker 4: stores starting on December first, which is really great.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I'm Rique Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 10:56Speaker 3: need to know.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Pariki, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 10:59Speaker 7: One seven the River.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Tax got effect, Tex got effect. Jex got effect just
- 11:04Speaker 2: for you on one oh seven five the River. That's
- 11:06Speaker 2: pretty good.
- 11:07Speaker 8: Yeah, it was something I'll say it, but with it
- 11:09Speaker 8: beginning to be like cold and flu season, I actually
- 11:12Speaker 8: found this life hack, and I looked it up and
- 11:14Speaker 8: it actually does work. So if you like, boil some
- 11:17Speaker 8: water in the and then you put it in a
- 11:19Speaker 8: cup and you put it be underneath your ears, it
- 11:22Speaker 8: can actually help relieve ear pressure and congestion caused by
- 11:25Speaker 8: colds or allergies, and.
- 11:26Speaker 6: It'll loosen up your mucus in the sinuses.
- 11:29Speaker 8: HM, so much stuff to me, I don't know, No,
- 11:32Speaker 8: it's so true. I literally found it on so many
- 11:35Speaker 8: different websites. Just put like steamy water underneath.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Your ears and it'll help clear it all out.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Try it out the season.
- 11:40Speaker 6: There's your fact of the day, Doctor Zach on the case,
- 11:43Speaker 6: Thanks Zach.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
- 11:49Speaker 4: You accidentally put inside your washing machine something that does
- 11:53Speaker 4: not belong. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning
- 11:56Speaker 4: on one oh seven five the River. I ask this
- 11:59Speaker 4: to kind of try to make myself feel better because
- 12:01Speaker 4: I put something in the washing.
- 12:02Speaker 5: Machine, okay, like silverware.
- 12:07Speaker 3: So I love that. Guess. I love that. Guess.
- 12:10Speaker 4: I'm not going to tell you yet what it is
- 12:12Speaker 4: because I want to hear what other people have done.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Okay, six, one, five, seven, three, seven nine, one oh seven?
- 12:17Speaker 5: What you have accidentally put in the washing machine? I
- 12:19Speaker 5: mean I have a seven year old son, so I
- 12:21Speaker 5: can play this game as well. I mean I find
- 12:22Speaker 5: pine cones in there and rocks.
- 12:24Speaker 3: The worst part is my fiance and my friend were.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Both there when it happened, and I pulled it out
- 12:28Speaker 4: and they both just RiPP me a park.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Let us know what it was for.
- 12:31Speaker 1: You, heik zach And in the morning.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Ricky accidentally put something in her washing machine recently, and
- 12:39Speaker 2: she's a little embarrassed by it. So now we're asking
- 12:41Speaker 2: you what you have accidentally put in yours. We have
- 12:44Speaker 2: Tabitha and Banaqua on the phone. Hi Tabitha, Hello, Hi there,
- 12:48Speaker 2: What have you put in your washing machine?
- 12:50Speaker 3: My apple?
- 12:52Speaker 5: Did it sarrive?
- 12:54Speaker 1: No?
- 12:55Speaker 3: Oh, and it didn't work out. I hate that.
- 12:58Speaker 5: I thought they were waterproof. This is a maybe it's
- 13:00Speaker 5: all the banging around, you know, the soap.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Oh, Tabitha, I'm sorry that that happened. That's such a bummer.
- 13:07Speaker 4: It's easy to do that though. You just take your
- 13:08Speaker 4: clothes off, it gets stuck inside your shirt or something
- 13:11Speaker 4: like that. You're not crazy for accidentally doing that. Mine's
- 13:16Speaker 4: a lot crazier.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I lost it on vacation and found it in the water.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Hey, at least you found it.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, thanks for sharing with us.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Have a great weekend you too, Anna and Murphy's Boro.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Please tell us what you accidentally put in your washing machine.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Okay, there's two things.
- 13:37Speaker 6: One was my husband's wallet.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Ooh, and it fits through the whole cycle.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that was That was fun. And then my AirPod. Oh,
- 13:45Speaker 3: your air pods.
- 13:46Speaker 4: See the wallet is rough because I know how men
- 13:48Speaker 4: are with their wallet. At least if there are anything
- 13:51Speaker 4: like my fiance and my dad, they keep that wallet
- 13:53Speaker 4: until it's literally in pieces.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 8: Did he have anything in the wall that they got ruined?
- 14:00Speaker 8: Like his Social Security card or anything?
- 14:03Speaker 3: Why would you carry that, dak No, one's supposed to
- 14:05Speaker 3: carry that.
- 14:05Speaker 5: With them, and that.
- 14:08Speaker 1: We keep it.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, good, that's smart. Anna.
- 14:12Speaker 5: I will say I've washed and it worked on the
- 14:15Speaker 5: other side.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Yes, they actually still work amazing. Yeah, now they're just
- 14:20Speaker 3: extra clean.
- 14:23Speaker 6: Okay, so us.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Could not wait, I put.
- 14:30Speaker 4: An entire hangar in the washing machine without realizing that
- 14:34Speaker 4: the hangar was in the washing machine.
- 14:35Speaker 6: What do you mean you didn't realize the hangar was
- 14:38Speaker 6: the washing I just.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Put the whole lump of clothes into the washing machine,
- 14:43Speaker 4: and when I went to go put it in the dryer,
- 14:45Speaker 4: it broke into pieces and I just found.
- 14:47Speaker 5: The pieces of plastic.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Yes, okay, so I almost put pieces of plastic in
- 14:53Speaker 4: the dryer, but I found them, and I was like,
- 14:55Speaker 4: what is this.
- 14:56Speaker 5: It's a move.
- 14:58Speaker 8: All of your clothes are covered in my pro plastics.
- 15:01Speaker 2: I probably were anyway already.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and it wasn't good.
- 15:05Speaker 6: It wasn't great.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you was talking about your seven year old too.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I got a seven almost seven almost four year.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Old, So yeah, exactly.
- 15:14Speaker 2: The boys they put so much stuff in their pockets
- 15:16Speaker 2: and they never think to empty them. I mean piles
- 15:19Speaker 2: of dirt literally going into the washing machine.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Thank you for calling. You have a great day.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Thank you you GULLO.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Six one five seven three seven nine one oh seven.
- 15:29Speaker 2: If you want to join this conversation, what did you
- 15:31Speaker 2: accidentally put in the.
- 15:32Speaker 7: Washington Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Happy Friday, Courtney and Dixon, Welcome to one O seven
- 15:40Speaker 4: five the River. Tell us what you've accidentally put in
- 15:43Speaker 4: your washing machine.
- 15:45Speaker 8: I don't know if it's altman said, but it was
- 15:48Speaker 8: my cell phone.
- 15:49Speaker 4: No arguing with somebody over text.
- 15:52Speaker 1: So I was doing laundry and it went with close.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Well, I mean that was a good way to end
- 15:57Speaker 6: the conversation. Yeah, but are you winning the argument? I
- 16:02Speaker 6: have no idea.
- 16:03Speaker 8: I don't think I was.
- 16:05Speaker 4: It seems like technology is the number one thing that
- 16:08Speaker 4: people accidentally put in the laundry, because it's been an
- 16:11Speaker 4: Apple Watch, air pods, and now the actual full.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Cell phone, the Apple products.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it was an iPhone too.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Accord didn't work afterword.
- 16:20Speaker 1: No to get it fixed because I had just didn't
- 16:24Speaker 1: offer insurance and all of that.
- 16:26Speaker 5: Oh bummer. I can't imagine going a week without my phone.
- 16:29Speaker 5: That just gave me a chill up my spine.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Kevin has a problem.
- 16:32Speaker 4: But unlesson learned, don't argue on your cell phone while
- 16:35Speaker 4: doing chores.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I never bring it with me now or just.
- 16:41Speaker 3: That's even better.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Thank you for calling. Have a great Friday.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Thank you, Mason and Hendersonville. What was that thing that
- 16:50Speaker 3: you accidentally put in the washing machine?
- 16:53Speaker 7: Nah?
- 16:53Speaker 8: Again with the Apple products, this is like becoming an epidemic.
- 16:59Speaker 5: But here's the thing.
- 17:00Speaker 2: We already talked to somebody that did air pods, and
- 17:02Speaker 2: I've watched one single AirPod before so far nothing but
- 17:06Speaker 2: positive stories.
- 17:07Speaker 5: How they still worked. On the other side, did yours work?
- 17:09Speaker 6: Yes, indestructive.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Why do the air pods work but the cell phones
- 17:15Speaker 3: don't work when they get wet and the Apple watches.
- 17:20Speaker 5: There's no screen?
- 17:21Speaker 3: No, Maybe that's what gets messed up the most.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Well, Mason, you have extra clean AirPods, just like our
- 17:27Speaker 4: other caller.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And uh, I'm I mean that it's still worked.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for calling, buddy, Bye.
- 17:34Speaker 5: I got in a shower with my AirPods once.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Kevin, what will you do.
- 17:38Speaker 5: With listening to a podcast?
- 17:40Speaker 2: You know, it's like you're so deep in you just
- 17:42Speaker 2: kind of black out the world and next thing.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I know, you can't do one singular thing at one time.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Even though he's not good at multitasking.
- 17:49Speaker 8: I'm just like so confused on how you can be
- 17:51Speaker 8: listening to a podcast and be like, you know what,
- 17:53Speaker 8: let me take all my clothes off, start the shower,
- 17:56Speaker 8: get in the shower with the podcast still going.
- 17:58Speaker 6: That's psychotic behavior, Kevin.
- 18:00Speaker 5: It was our podcast, Zach I was it was Zach's facts.
- 18:02Speaker 7: It had me.
- 18:03Speaker 5: Uh, well, that makes it a lot better.
- 18:05Speaker 6: Heaven, you're allowed just.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Wake up happy with the Ricky, Zach and Mano in
- 18:10Speaker 1: the morning on the River, We're about.
- 18:14Speaker 4: To play Kevin Banno's Game of the Day for these
- 18:16Speaker 4: matt Ripe tickets. Your last day to win them on
- 18:19Speaker 4: one O seven five the River is today.
- 18:21Speaker 5: Kalisa in Ashland City. Welcome to the River. How are you?
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm good?
- 18:25Speaker 3: Thank you for asking how.
- 18:27Speaker 5: I'm good as well. I'm happy it's Friday. What are
- 18:29Speaker 5: you doing right now?
- 18:30Speaker 3: Uh said in my driveway?
- 18:32Speaker 7: Why?
- 18:33Speaker 5: Because I need to concentrate.
- 18:35Speaker 6: Okay, fair enough, okay, star right.
- 18:37Speaker 3: We like it, Kalisa.
- 18:38Speaker 2: We're gonna ask you these questions. If you can get
- 18:40Speaker 2: two out of three of them right, you win. The
- 18:42Speaker 2: tickets are yours?
- 18:43Speaker 5: Are you ready?
- 18:44Speaker 3: I'm ready?
- 18:45Speaker 2: Okay, here we go. Your game starts right now. Hopefully
- 18:49Speaker 2: you've been paying attention enough to get this one. Kind
- 18:52Speaker 2: of an easy one. Who will perform at the Super
- 18:55Speaker 2: Bowl halftime show in February.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Bad Bunny?
- 19:00Speaker 5: Yeah, bad Bunny. I wish you could see Ricky smile
- 19:04Speaker 5: when you said bad bunny.
- 19:04Speaker 3: She loves the man.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Question two? You get this?
- 19:08Speaker 7: You win?
- 19:09Speaker 2: What River artist is back with a new album called
- 19:12Speaker 2: Toy with Me that's coming next year and a new tour,
- 19:15Speaker 2: which will bring her to Nashville in July. We debuted
- 19:17Speaker 2: a new song from her earlier this hour. Oh my god,
- 19:28Speaker 2: you was going to that show with you because they
- 19:29Speaker 2: just helped you win.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Nice job.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Who's with you, Belisa? My friend?
- 19:36Speaker 4: Hi friend.
- 19:38Speaker 3: We heard the whisper, which wasn't a really good whisper
- 19:43Speaker 3: that it was so loud.
- 19:47Speaker 5: We encouraged teamwork.
- 19:48Speaker 4: We have no we are not mad about it. We're
- 19:51Speaker 4: just saying, your friend cannot whisper.
- 19:56Speaker 1: You.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Congratulations, Casa, you won the tickets. You're gonna see Matt Rife.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Awesome, Thank you guys so much.
- 20:02Speaker 3: You're so welcome. Hang on the line, okay, love, all right,
- 20:05Speaker 3: she's on hold.
- 20:07Speaker 4: That was fun.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Kevin whispered just like her friends.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Just past eight.
- 20:15Speaker 2: O'clock here on this Friday morning. We are so happy
- 20:17Speaker 2: it's Friday. We're so happy you're here with us. Ricky's
- 20:20Speaker 2: got those three things.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Taylor Swift is a nominee to be inducted into the
- 20:24Speaker 4: Songwriters Hall of Fame next summer. Each nominee selects five
- 20:27Speaker 4: songs that represent their songwriting talent.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Taylor picked Blank Space and a Hero.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Love Story, The Last Great American Dynasty, and her ten
- 20:38Speaker 4: minute version of All Too Well.
- 20:40Speaker 3: These songs display her range and style.
- 20:43Speaker 4: It's going to feature pretty much every one of her
- 20:45Speaker 4: primary collaborators as well, which is really cool.
- 20:48Speaker 3: So if she's selected, though, this is amazing.
- 20:51Speaker 4: She'll be the youngest inductee by more than a decade
- 20:55Speaker 4: because she'll be thirty six when she deserved it, which
- 20:58Speaker 4: is wild to think about.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Oh, we'll see how that goes next summer.
- 21:01Speaker 4: One of the caveats here too, is that she does
- 21:04Speaker 4: have to be at the ceremony in order to win.
- 21:08Speaker 4: If she cannot make the ceremony, then she has to
- 21:10Speaker 4: forfeit and try again next year, So we'll.
- 21:13Speaker 3: See how that goes.
- 21:15Speaker 4: The old video app Vine is back kindest order, so
- 21:19Speaker 4: they're rebooting it under the name Divine with funding from
- 21:23Speaker 4: Twitter's former CEO. The plan is to feature ten thousand
- 21:26Speaker 4: previously are archived six minute vines or six second vines,
- 21:30Speaker 4: and the best part is that they're not gonna let
- 21:32Speaker 4: AI on the app at all, no AI whatsoever.
- 21:35Speaker 3: They're all six seconds again, just like Vine was.
- 21:38Speaker 4: It's a completely creator focused app and it's already available
- 21:42Speaker 4: in beta.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Form right now, so you can get it in the
- 21:44Speaker 3: beta form. We'll see how.
- 21:46Speaker 4: It goes and we'll see if they can kind of
- 21:48Speaker 4: revive it again.
- 21:49Speaker 3: But Vine was massive when it was out.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Obviously it didn't have any competitors like TikTok, So we'll
- 21:57Speaker 4: see how it goes.
- 21:58Speaker 3: But it's exciting.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Newsboy who grew up with Vine is super pumped about it.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Kroger's Monroe Street store has officially reopened after six months
- 22:06Speaker 4: of renovations. Zach is very happy about this. He's already
- 22:10Speaker 4: been there two, three times twice.
- 22:12Speaker 6: That's my Kroger.
- 22:13Speaker 4: The twenty two million dollar remodel adds a Starbucks, a
- 22:17Speaker 4: cheese shop, and Kroger pickup to the place. He's so
- 22:21Speaker 4: excited about it. He knows that Kevin loves grocery stores.
- 22:24Speaker 4: They literally facetimed inside of Broger yesterday.
- 22:27Speaker 6: I went yesterday and I was like, Kevin, look at
- 22:29Speaker 6: this Kroger.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It was so beautiful, so beautiful, so spacious, just really,
- 22:33Speaker 2: I mean, beautiful job, Kroger.
- 22:36Speaker 3: What did you say you wanted to do with the Kroger?
- 22:38Speaker 5: I want I want a roller blade in there.
- 22:40Speaker 6: The floors are.
- 22:41Speaker 2: So smooth and shiny and big and open and vast.
- 22:44Speaker 5: It's just it's okay.
- 22:46Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 22:48Speaker 4: need to know, along with some other things that you
- 22:50Speaker 4: probably didn't.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Need to get really excited about. Grocery stores.
- 22:53Speaker 7: This is a good one, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in
- 22:58Speaker 7: the morning.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Something on Friday over here at the River. We call
- 23:01Speaker 5: it the Leftovers.
- 23:03Speaker 2: It's some topics that we didn't have a chance to
- 23:05Speaker 2: get onto the show during the week. You know, we
- 23:07Speaker 2: all bring things to the table, but there's only so
- 23:09Speaker 2: much time.
- 23:10Speaker 5: So on Friday, as we go around, we each.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Get thirty seconds to present. We normally nominate Ricky to
- 23:15Speaker 2: go first. So Ricky, whenever you are ready, I will
- 23:18Speaker 2: start the Stopwatch.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Start the Stopwatch. The holidays are basically here already, whether
- 23:23Speaker 4: you like it or not. So I'm going to tell
- 23:24Speaker 4: you how long it takes to overstay. You're welcome at
- 23:26Speaker 4: someone's home. So, according to a new survey, house guests
- 23:29Speaker 4: overstay they're welcome after six days.
- 23:31Speaker 3: So this is about people who are staying with other people.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Okay, unless it's their own children, who are able to
- 23:36Speaker 4: stay for ten days before they start to be like,
- 23:39Speaker 4: all right, get the heck out of here, or their
- 23:41Speaker 4: in laws who are encouraged to leave after five days.
- 23:45Speaker 8: Five days is way too many, when again it tay's
- 23:47Speaker 8: too long.
- 23:48Speaker 3: A third of hosts start dropping hints that it's time
- 23:51Speaker 3: to go.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Twenty two percent admit though, that they'll flat out and
- 23:54Speaker 4: tell someone when they need to leave, like it's your
- 23:57Speaker 4: time today.
- 23:57Speaker 2: It's shocking to me that like this plan wouldn't be
- 23:59Speaker 2: in place. And you know, like who has an open
- 24:02Speaker 2: ended trip than the just they don't know how long
- 24:04Speaker 2: they're staying.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Family, Kevin family does that a lot. It's just the
- 24:08Speaker 3: way of the world.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Zach.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 24:10Speaker 6: I was born right, all right, you got.
- 24:12Speaker 5: To stop watch right, I'm ready, let's go.
- 24:14Speaker 8: Okay, I want to talk about the worst roads in
- 24:16Speaker 8: America and all of the potholes because pet Boys actually
- 24:19Speaker 8: just came out with the new survey saying that Nashville
- 24:21Speaker 8: to the Sea.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I was gonna say, Nashville better be on There.
- 24:24Speaker 8: Was number seven of the metro areas with the worst roads.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Lower than I expected them to be on the list.
- 24:29Speaker 8: Yeah, So I was like, Okay, when you're driving to work,
- 24:31Speaker 8: call and tell us basically where you are and where
- 24:34Speaker 8: the worst roads are. Because I live in North Nashville
- 24:37Speaker 8: and coming down into downtown, it's always I sixty five.
- 24:41Speaker 8: I sixty five always has the worst potholes. But then
- 24:44Speaker 8: I looked it up and apparently it does say I
- 24:46Speaker 8: sixty five and Antioch and Bordeaux are the worst places
- 24:49Speaker 8: for potholes and really bad roads. So it was my
- 24:52Speaker 8: idea to call in and tell us where you are
- 24:54Speaker 8: and how bad are the roads.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Right, that's a good idea. I like it.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Care Kevin, it's your turn. Start to stop.
- 24:59Speaker 5: Watch starting right now.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Five ways to boost your immune system as we head
- 25:02Speaker 2: into flu season. Number one, optimize nutrition diversity. They say,
- 25:06Speaker 2: eat the rainbow. Don't just eat like just oranges all
- 25:09Speaker 2: the time, like eat a lot of variety of fruits
- 25:11Speaker 2: and vegetables.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Number two, take it easy, get some sleep. Sleep is
- 25:15Speaker 5: very important.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Your immune system is far more likely to struggle if
- 25:18Speaker 2: you're worn out, in stressed and tired.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Number three exercise.
- 25:21Speaker 2: It boosts immunity by lowering the stress hormone levels and
- 25:24Speaker 2: your body lots of benefits to exercise. Number four, consider
- 25:28Speaker 2: vitamins and supplements. They are not magic pills, but they
- 25:30Speaker 2: might help you a supplemental piece of.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Your Your alderberry is very good for your immune system.
- 25:35Speaker 5: There you go, and lastly, socialize.
- 25:38Speaker 2: The bonding hormone oxytocin has been shown to lower stress levels,
- 25:43Speaker 2: reduce inflammation, and boost immune functions. So just hang in
- 25:46Speaker 2: with friends as a way to avoid getting sick.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Or it's the way to get sick.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Maybe if your friend has COVID or something, don't get
- 25:54Speaker 2: in a car with them.
- 25:55Speaker 6: Or if you're out on Broadway till two am.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, no, no, no, hang out with friends and
- 26:02Speaker 2: you'll stay healthy and that concludes the leftovers.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Ver Truly, one of the most fascinating things on planet
- 26:10Speaker 4: Earth is the creation of kids Bob. Yeah, and if
- 26:13Speaker 4: you don't actually agree with that, you're insane.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Today's daily double Table one O seven five.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Of the River is the kids Bop version of Sabrina
- 26:20Speaker 4: Carpenter's Tears. Now we know the kids Bop takes all
- 26:24Speaker 4: these songs that have suggestive language in them and they
- 26:28Speaker 4: swap them out for things that are.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Good for kids.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Yeah, but sometimes they get really.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Weird and creative but strange.
- 26:37Speaker 2: In my mind, there are certain songs that you just
- 26:39Speaker 2: shouldn't They shouldn't mess with because it's just I don't know.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Like when they did the Wop one, it's too much.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Here we go Today's day the double Tap Tears done
- 26:48Speaker 2: by kids Bop.
- 26:51Speaker 1: My God.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Okay, this is a little bit of it.
- 27:03Speaker 4: This is a very short clip of it, but it's
- 27:06Speaker 4: obviously just interesting.
- 27:08Speaker 3: So yea, how they swap out the word?
- 27:10Speaker 2: I just wondered, do these kids have to listen to
- 27:11Speaker 2: the original in order to record their version?
- 27:14Speaker 3: I would think.
- 27:15Speaker 6: I hope nobody explains to them what the song is about.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, they listen. They just smile at the thought
- 27:23Speaker 3: of you being a responsible guy. Yeah, I'll take that
- 27:26Speaker 3: smile at the thought of you being a responsible guy.
- 27:30Speaker 7: Ricky Zach and Manow in the Morning
