- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, not much.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: It is hot.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: It is best fall summer.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: And they are in the thick of it.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: Best fall summer.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: So, Tom, just talk to us about your little, your best fall article.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: Not little.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, it was used.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, how is the process?
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: Would you learn and cover any secrets of the trade?
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, so this is my third year playing basketball and I've noticed over those past two years that there seems to be
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: a couple of late round guys that are like the seventeenth-eighteenth round guys that you're hardly ever drafting that hit right like in twenty twenty three it was the big puka kairin um break out for the rams tanked out was another great lay-round pick um because he came here wrong right because he wasn't that great during the season who's that tank
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, but he got hurt towards the end of the year, but he was on fire, at least when he was available in healthy.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then last year, you had Tuan Jennings was the big one.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: He came out of nowhere to really have had a really strong season for you.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: And then you can even look at Alec Pierce.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: who was incredible as well.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Um, a guy that wasn't drafted is third year.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of seem like the cults kind of forgot about him.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden he goes off for like seven games with like almost twenty points or something like that.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: It was, um, I think he led the king arts per reception.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, something like that.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: He was great.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, all in all, there's got to be something to it on hitting those lay-round guys.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then stacking is really important in Bestball, at least for me.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think it just raises your ceiling and other level.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, I've always kind of wondered, like, does each team have a guy that's worth drafting with that last pick, so that, like, if you dropped the John Jennings to your broad party teams, like you were really happy about it?
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I decided to take a deep dive, scroll the F down as we like to say in the best spot community and try to find maybe one of those late-round skeleton keys that we end up needing.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Skeleton, I love that.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: Skeleton keys, so I'm gonna scale that.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: Um, okay.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: So what we won't go over the whole article, though, or some of your favorites, like are there certain teams that you're targeting is more is it more like the high octane offenses, like a Baltimore Detroit where a guy could really make a leap or the teams people are more likely kind of forgetting about maybe like the Saints Panthers where, you know, guys are going undervalued and could be the easy wide receiver ones on those teams.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it kind of depends.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously you want like the high power offences because they're, you know, they're more likely to stumble and do a touchdown here or there or a big game if if somebody gets hurt because, you know, that that's just how those offenses operate.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: But there's something to be said for the offense is that we're not expecting to be maybe as as good.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: But there's a lot of ambiguity and opportunity for some of these low-owned players to have really.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because yeah, I had a wait, not meetloaf, Brett Loaf, a brand.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: I forget his name already.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you watch that potty or the mask, but he's like, gregler.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's okay.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: Bigel though.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Jesus.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, bigelove.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: But he was saying he's going to go big on the Saints because they're that team that nobody's drafting anyone problem.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: No one expects anything from.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: And they're still going to put up points, right?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: I know you love is who's the white receiver there?
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're deep threat.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: Rashid Shaheed.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're the bigger.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: Rashid Shaheed guy.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, especially in basketball.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: He, I mean, I think it was three or four of the first six weeks.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: He, he spiked last season before he got hurt.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I love him.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going around one oh six at the moment.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: It isn't pick hundred and six.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: And I, I love her.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: She teed.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: But we can start with the Saints because I actually really love you like the Saints too.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of the few teams that were you can get a starting quarterback for free, right?
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: Tyler Schuck is projected to be the starting quarterback over Spencer Rattler.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: They just spent a second round pick on him.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be surprised if
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: That didn't start.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Fifteen games of you was healthy.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: I can understand if you know they want to play that give him a game or two.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: Let's fence a rattle.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: There's not the answer else.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: They wouldn't have drafted Chuck.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of it.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of on Spencer rather island.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: I watched a lot last year.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't super impressed with him, but you know who you're seeing these guys can take some time to develop.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so some of them can.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: I just think that Kellin Moore's a new, it's a new offense, it's a new coach.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: He went out and got his guy.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: They spent a second round pick on a bunch of things to press a lot of people.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I just think that they'll give him every opportunity.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure Spencer Rattler might end up playing at some point.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: But I do like low key stacking the the saints if you've kind of run out of options on your kiwi to you keep getting sniped.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: You can always kind of back door shock and Joanne Johnson who were both of my picks for the saints for this article.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think it provides a nice again stacking up, particularly in your drafts.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: So you take seconds your kiwi to and I like kiwi three.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: I would take stock as my QB-two if I had one of Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Dale and Hertz, maybe Joe Burrow.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: If I had one like Jane Daniels as well, if I had one of the elite guys, I'd be fine when Tyler shook as my QB-two because ideally you're not going to need him except for maybe like a bi-week cover.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, I'm okay.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's it.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: And if you do need him, you're probably screwed anyways, right?
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: by and large on that but he he might he didn't he didn't really break out in college for say, but I like the Kelley Moore offense a lot, so I'm just kind of taking a bet on cost and opportunity in what should be a good offensive system.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: So let's do a little combo.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: We'll finish wrapping up the NFC and then we'll also kind of intermit your article in here, right?
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I finished off with the NFC North, which is what?
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Would you say, I mean, best division in football that in the AFC North?
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there really are many divisions better than that.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: All four teams should be pretty competitive.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: So let's start with Reem Bay, right?
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably top three most crowd of White receiver room.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: Last year that they came to Reed was gonna pop.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: He was a White receiver one in week one.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then he had the four-week stretch where I don't think he had more than twenty-five yards in any game.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: Christian Watson, towards ACL, he's been running.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: They also drafted the speedy guy out of Texas, Matthew Golden.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: What do you do for the White receivers?
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: Are you drafting any of them?
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: Are you just going late?
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm back in the well on Jaden Reed.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: I just think that he's really good.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: If the packers decide to use him, I think he really could be a wide receiver one.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: Just betting on the Talon more so than anything there, which Jaden Reed.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and then the running back to Josh Jacobs.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was a big fade on Jacob's last year is one of my biggest mistakes.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: Say, Levy.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm having a little brain fart here.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: They had the running back.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: They drafted a lot of people like them are some or something.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, more trying there.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Um, then I think they have another guy.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: Are you are you trying to fade Jacob's like are you taking that backup situation because you're probably getting either guy for almost nothing.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so at least in Bestball, Marshall on Lloyd is well, like a seventeenth, eighteenth round peck, he could have made the article potentially.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then they have the manual Wilson, who is largely going undrafted.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: But no, I'm fine with Josh Chakas to cost.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: He goes right around the two, three turn, and I'm fine with that.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: As your workhorse RB one, I don't.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: He was just so good last year and that offense is going to be really good that I just don't know that they're going to shy away from Josh Jacobs.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, okay, so now what do we do with Detroit right?
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: They were probably the best fantasy team in the league last year if you had any of the pieces right the running backs were off James the William went off send four to the only guy I was big on was the only guy who didn't play well the last end of season he did Are we is there somebody who can emerge there or is that often just so?
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: Studged center that is really hard for somebody to pop
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I think that there's the five guys not including off.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's probably going to be it for best fall if you want to target somebody late.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would be Isaac Tesla or Tesla, however, is it what we've ran?
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: That will take us belly.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: There's no way you spell that like this.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: I had a double check in as well.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's a different body type than what I'm gonna write same brown and James and Williams offer.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's like six four and like two, twenty or something like that.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: And Jaymo and I'm gonna write both under six one and a little bit lighter.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: So he offers a different, just a different, I guess opportunity for the team to take advantage in different ways.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he could be lay around target do something a little bit different roll wise that this team hasn't had as they search for reliable wide receiver three and also like people get hurt every year right last year Lions were one of the healthiest teams in offense and the unhealthy teams of defense right I mean you know Monroe has never got hurt but he went down may you know guys can jump into roles right if you get a roll jump on that office I mean it's you're gonna go to the mood
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I did another reason, so it was kind of between him or Tim, Tim Patrick for me.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: They're both kind of that same bigger type receiver, but the Lions gave up a lot of capital to move up and get Tesla.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: They gave up two third round picks plus they kind of picked swapped to move up.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like that's, that's a lot to give up for Guy, if you're not sure that he's going to be able to make an impact for you.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: That was kind of the tiebreaker, but Tim Patrick is also an option if you want to go even more contrarian way in your drafts.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and especially with these guys, it's all, they're like lottery tickets, right?
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have any, like, leagues where you're, I don't know, what's a good, like, over twenty percent on any of these late ground guys, like some of the uses, they're the guys you have to have.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: No, not in any of these late round guys.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: The one I probably have most of currently would be Nick Westbrook Akine from the Dolphins.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: At one point I had like, sixteen percent, but it's closer down to ten now as I really kind of only pair him with.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: my dolphin stacks or on the on the back end of like a Tampa bag.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: Centric team because I play week, seventeen if you want to dive into the weeds of the week, seventeen correlation and does it really matter.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the one to move a bit, but that's probably the one I have the most of at the moment, but that's probably likely to change.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and then so how like he's going like a hundred like one, one, sixty?
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Westburg, a keen I know.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's going, let me pull it up.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's going, it's like, well, it's like two, fifteen or something.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: And two could include their team.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's going on drafted.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: Really, even because he had that, I had what eight games, the touchdown streak last year, which was crazy.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: It was something like that, but I know he had nine touchdowns on like thirty to three receptions, but there was a long, then the exact number I'm not totally sure, but yeah, he had a quite a streak with touchdown for game or a touchdown in every game.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: Westburg, a keen is going about two, fourteen.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so if you want to get him if you're getting it to a so would you take so if he's going to a fourteen would you take West Virginia like two hundred like a round or two earlier to make sure that you get them with you know you're to a stack.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I wouldn't hate that like if you want to pick him in like the seven teams round if you're just kind of stuck and the timer's running down.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine taking him around or so early.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Just in case somebody wants to get a little cute and try to take them.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I don't mind.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't mind taking most of these guys in the seventh round if you really need to.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's move on to Minnesota.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_00]: So Minnesota every year seems to get underrated, right?
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: I was big on Donald last year and not, I'm not big enough to take him everywhere he is, but are they QB proof?
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: And my favorite of your entire article is the Sam Howellup, because JJ McCarthy might not be good.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's also, I think, towards what is the MCL?
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure which CL, but, you know, even if he's not ready, if he gets hurt again, Sam Howell led the league and passing yards for ten game two years ago in Washington.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: Um, it's here, favorite backup QB.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: Um, are you, are you taking him if you get Justin Jefferson and you taking him if you get DJ McCarthy?
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing with San Hal?
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: Sam Howell is my favorite QB-II.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: I like to try to identify a QB-II every year that has a lot of potential, should something happen, is maybe an ambiguous situation.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: The starter is, I don't want to say, injury prone, but coming off of an injury like Jason McCarthy.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like you said, Sam Howell,
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: Tim, how will the top ten quarterback two years ago in in Washington?
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: So like the dude can play and like you said, the Vikings might be like just one of the teams that you can plug and play anybody with that Kevin O'Connell offense.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: Delete weapons they have.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, I love Sam Howell.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't taken much of him really at all yet, but I might make some in here a little bit.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: On my J.G.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: McCarthy builds, I wouldn't mind.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like if I go McCarthy, just say like McCarthy golf, or kind of that range, and McCarthy C.J.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: Stroud, McCarthy mad staffer, or something like that.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I kind of want to add a third quarterback, but no one's really sticking out at me.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm certainly happy to just tax him how long as insurance just in case McCarthy's need doesn't hold up.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's not as good as we thought, bossy boss.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, same how was probably my favorite QB to this year?
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think the I did the research I think Minnesota that had at least QB- twelve for like five years in a row.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: All right, even Kirk Cousins each when he tours Achilles like week eight that Josh Dobbs came in from San Fran.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: He gave them like two to top ten QB weeks in a row.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Then it got benched, you know, darn old.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think was maybe the KB-Ten last year.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: Great O line.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: Pass heavy offense, Justin Jefferson, the ultimate floor raiser, Jordan Assimbroke out, and we get full healthy T.J.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: Arkansas, right?
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: So was there anyone else in the Minnesota offense you're liking?
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think was a Jalen Naylor.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Dale and Nailer, if we're talking about the way around guys, it's definitely Jalen Nailer.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's pretty solidified as the water receiver three.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's on the field for close to fifty percent of the snaps, which I think for a water receiver three and a good offense that is going for free in drafts.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like all, if you're going to have to time, like I'll take that.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like that is you're not really going to get a ton more for that cost.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Um, plus again, for bump, right?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Jordan, I think they, I think they, he's got an issue offfield issue.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: Jefferson's pretty healthy, but he had the hand free issue, right?
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: If you get, you know, Madison got hurt, suspended, and Taylor got that whiter sees or two bump to Jefferson.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what's the ceiling?
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: Did he be a top thirty whiter's ever?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I could go that far.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: I definitely think he can have some spike weeks where he finishes and I'd like probably even like the top of the team.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: If he was the water receiver too, I think he can help you have some of those spike weeks, but I don't know if I would say overall kind of the water receiver third is your.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: But I think they would probably just hyper-target Justin Jefferson and lean a little bit more in Arkansas.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: Addison gets suspended or decide to take a vacation or win the lottery.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, what about George Mason?
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think I was if he on him, but I think Nathan wrote about him and he I got
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: So what are you doing with like the RB-two's generally if you target like the RB-two's and hope for that chase round by the earring jump this word may some of those guys that you you know seem like in a nice sweet spot
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm happy to take Jordan Jordan Mason at times.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see me.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love him at cost.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: I would really like it if he was going like around later.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I definitely mix him in on my Vikings teams or if I know that I'm going with the Detroit stack.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I need a running back and he's on the board.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm happy to take him.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: for that week, Seventeen Correlation.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I like Jordan Mason.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think of the upside is there.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: I should show you the week, so you stand the week, Seventeen Correlation.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: What do you mean?
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: So there's this, I guess I'm going carry or conversation or whatever word you want to use.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: in the best-well community about how much stacking your week-saving team game is matters because the finals are week-saving team so that's kind of where like the big money's made a lot of these tournaments.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: So the idea is if you stack a week-saving team game that's like high powered offences like just for example I just mentioned the Lions and the Vikings they play week-saving team right.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh wow nice.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: you great offenses, could be a shootout, could be a ton of points, fantasy-wise, NFL-wise.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: On the theory, as in week XVIII, you want those games stacked.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: So that, like, when
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: Jared Goff hit somewhere on Sam Brown for a hundred and fifty yards and two touchdowns.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: You have Jordan Addison on the other side who to keep up the Vikings are throwing the ball line.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: He ends up with seventy five yards and two touchdowns on his own.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: It really kind of raises your upside and week seventeen to hit a big week and hopefully passion big on one of these tournaments.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I mean, that sounds great, and that's something I'd probably follow, but it's just your playing small windows against in a crack, right?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because we had the lines Vikings in week, seventeen, I think, or week, with a week, eighteen, last then the season, I remember I had all these crazy bets on it, and that was when Darnell melted down, and it actually was a low scoring game, and nobody yet, I think, although all the undersat, except like Jamir Gibbs, obviously, but.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so let's definitely a big risk of it and then also like you got to think like give some of these tournaments have like fifty thousand hundred thousand six hundred and seventy two thousand for the best fall mania entries in these moments like you have to make it to week seventeen for a team and really matter
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: I follow it sometimes like it falls together nicely.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: I certainly, I'll certainly kind of go ahead and try to stack it or like I'll use it as like a tie breaker.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm not like fake decision between two guys.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: But like if I have AJ Brown, like if I have AJ Brown and now we're kind of back on the on the three four turn and say I want to take an elite quarterback and for whatever reason I don't want to take jail in the hurts just for the example.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, the first two quarterback taken.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'll take Josh Allen in my AJ Brown bills because they play week seventeen.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Bill Seagulls week seventeen.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: And it's an elite bring back for that game.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: So like, sometimes I'll play it like that, but it's not something that I'm like dead set on for every draft.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: But if it falls, I'm happy to do it that way.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then is there any like uncorrelation?
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, the Eagles had a great defense last year.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think people are saying they might slip, but I don't know.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: At Baltimore, let's say, week seventeen, maybe you wouldn't want to take, you know,
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe if it was evil, it's Baltimore.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you don't take steak one because Baltimore is the best remedy in the league.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that might be something you would avoid, right?
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Is it?
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's definitely something to consider when thinking about your bringbacks for weeks, Seventeen, like you said, like if you're playing, if you know that they theoretically have an elite run defense, you might want to shy away from the running back and maybe contact the receiver from the week from the team that played week, Seventeen.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, you can definitely think about that and try to judge about it that way too.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so yeah, anybody watching if you're on Twitter, jump over to YouTube.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: You can drop us a comment, like subscribe.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also going to drop my most sales to hundreds soon, which is going to be a little always to be a little contrary because I just hate times don't.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't follow.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: I just, you know, I just
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: People just get put in spots for a reason and sometimes people just don't want to, you know, go upstream.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: I love going upstream.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: So check out our draft guide, uh, sportpitos.com, uh, discounts up to sixty percent, uh, to get access.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: We got also the all sport, right, fastball kicks butt, where the middle base policies and baseball guys are crazy.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: Um, it's, uh, we are heading, we're, this is kind of the, come before the storm.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: And we're about to head right into it.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: So Matt Carmedy, fake fan, Matt, love you.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: He says Tucker crafts his favorite late round tight end.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: Um,
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think that packers like because they got all these wide receivers.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: Is that a situation when you would like to target a tight end like Indie is the same thing right.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm I'm some coming around to talk a craft a little bit more than I was that offense is just going to spread it around a lot.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: They have a lot of receivers, but I mean, again, so it's a different position.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: I obviously placed tight end and I've seen reports that like they're talking about Tucker graph stepping up and playing a larger role in this time of the third.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm happy to buy Tucker craft at cost.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that he's my favorite in that kind of range per se, but I've kind of this slowly increasing my exposure on Tucker graph for sure.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a monster games, but I'm just, I don't like going for the Titan when there's like a lot of wide receivers.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's a lot of Tyler Warren buzz.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're bigging him up.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're kind of big on the colds to the Danny Dimes, but I mean, I got four capable wide receivers, right?
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: I know you love you.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: I have an Ingram, right?
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: I like to go for a Titan in an offense.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's not as wide receiver heavy.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: Evan and Grimm, yeah.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: Evan and Grimm, I would definitely prefer anger and over crafts if we're going to talk about that.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: Although the anger goes a little bit earlier, but that's because I think that there's in his realm of possibilities for anger.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: He can have over a hundred catches.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think this season.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: which is something that you really love from a tight end and I just don't think that Tucker craft gets there because like you said, there's what do they have?
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: They've read golden jobs in Wix.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: Christopher Watson has looked, I mean, he posted a video I think on social media was a couple of weeks ago, maybe that and he was looking good running.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we've learned reouts and videos.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: We don't stress time or Twitter videos anymore.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the expectation is that he's going to miss most of it.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: Not all this season.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not picking him anywhere.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm just not going to bet on that.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: But if he does come back at some point like that, that's just going to be a really spread it out offensive post to one of the more condensed off offenses that we talked about like the Vikings person.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: Let's move on to the bears.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_00]: So how would you rank the fantasy North?
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, how do you think it finishes quickly?
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, uh, the lions just edges off the cuff.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: The lion will probably win the division again.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I'll take the, uh, I'll probably take the unknown upside in the Vikings to finish.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: That can't.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then I think it'll be the bears and the packers fighting for third and fourth.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's definitely an argument for any team to win this division.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: But I think if you're going to put me in a bind, that's probably the order I have it in.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: The line of rankings and then picture boys in between the packers are the bears for fourth.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: So bears, if we got, they were just a mess last season, right?
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: They kind of fired everyone.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_00]: The Olin was a joke.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now they bring in Ben Johnson, right?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: Offensive genius.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Blind Detroit.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: They, they've stacked the Olin.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: Are we buying Chicago?
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, you give me a little kickback to me, Mike.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, who, like, how do you rank them per fantasy?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: Who do you, who do you want the most?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: As far as, like, teams are specific players.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: The bears on the bears.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, on the bears, okay.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: Um,
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really like Roma Dunes, Roma Dunes' day at cost.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: Probably a Dunes' day, or Dunes' day, and I think more are probably still going to be the one and two this season.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, Dunes is going to step up because last year he was the three behind.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: Those are probably the two, but our Dunes is my favorite bear.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think I get it as see I'm I don't do the diversification enough.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the guy that every time a dude is a comes up in that spot.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just I have to take him.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean he was he got a ton of red zone targets.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: They're just a mess.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think that offense will take off two tier two and they like to pass.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: What about the rookie tight end?
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: What's the cost and love under something?
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, loveland.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how much I'm trusting him this season.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: I know he had a shoulder surgery in the off season.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think from an injury in college.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Titans generally take a little bit to to develop.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure name is Brock Bowers or Santa Borta.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: or Sam Laporta, even training bride took like a year and a half to really kind of get going as he sat behind.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: What's his name, Zach Hertz.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: Cole Comet is no, is no slouch.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: She's had some big games.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: He was actually my pick for the bears.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: Because once they drafted level in a ten, I mean, Cole Comet really just was banished to the seller.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Again, as you football,
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think Lovelin's a really good dynasty pick.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to be a really good long-term.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: But if we're talking about this year, he's definitely not my favorite tight end target.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I really like taking cool, come at at the end of drafts where you have the bears or the forty-nineers who they're playing the same.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: I love you.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you have the schedule up or you've got all these weeks.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm teaching memorized.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's about us.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: So what about Caleb, right?
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think I saw a spat the bears have never had a QB throw for is it thirty touchdown four thousand yards.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think he breaks that this year?
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: And see there's going to be this here next year.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: I always worry a little bit about when young quarterbacks get a new coach, especially like early in their career.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I like to kind of account for some slow starts for that.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, Caleb Williams was really in all time prospect.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's so excited about the Ben Johnson offense.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of talent in Chicago.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: So if certainly possible, I wouldn't be surprised by any means, but if I was betting on it, which I probably am not, I would say that he'd be a better bet next season than this.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: But it's always better be early than late kind of, right?
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: When you're picking guys to pop, when your guys are gonna fade like the tiger kill, I think it's better to be like fade them early than ride the wagon until it falls off.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: but I mean, Caleb's got that running ability.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's the old lines of proof.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got the weapons.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty big on Caleb.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: Let's check it.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: What's his ADP?
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably going around QB-twelf.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: He's ADP at QB-twelf.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I definitely have my fair share of Chicago teams.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: They just kind of fall nicely with ADP to stack up.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I think like I said, I think it's very possible that they are awesome.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I got Luther head too, right?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: Then they'd have to have a wide receiver.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: Luther burden.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: Luther burden.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: Who's Luther head?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's not sure who Luther had is, but, you know, Luther burden's supposed to be really good too.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: It might take him a little bit of time just because there's already a couple of really good pass catchers on that offense.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then we've got the Andre Swift at the backfield.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: You can play that.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: Has that, Jimmy or Gibbs kill set?
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: So, like, thinking he was ever said about him.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's the next thing anyone's ever said about the Andre Swift.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, especially Ben Johnson, who really kind of got ready to have it seems like as soon as he could when he was with Detroit, but who knows, maybe he maybe worked out for them in Chicago.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: John, you you froze the broke up there for a second.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it was just on my end, but it'd be to repeat that.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, once I don't know what's happening.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: John, I'm here, but it's, oh, my internet didn't cut out.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just give it a second.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: Can you hear me?
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: I can hear you, yeah.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's the way I can hear you.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess we can keep going.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, great.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_00]: I just, yeah, my speech is so into its loading.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think maybe, oh, anyways, so I know Atlanta, you've been big on Atlanta all spring.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: Talk to me, talk to me, but what?
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: I love the Falcons.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so excited to talk about, though.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they, I think that this is the offense that, this is my favorite offense to target.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: at cost in general, I'm willing to overpay.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: I love the Falcons, I love the upside.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: And that was a three game sample size with Michael Panics last year, but I mean, they really just, they looked like they were a team that was ready to explode.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm all in, I'm all in to share.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and I know you're you Drake London.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: You had him as like your widers.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: He bur like what five or six last year.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think I tried to make you bump him down.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: You refused and he was a monster.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I definitely had him in the top ten.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: He did finish as the wide receiver five.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: If you include the week a team without week a team of my memory serves.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: He was the wide receiver nine.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: So still top ten.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, no, I just think that the ceiling is, is just astronomical this season.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it really could be a very condensed offense as well, uh, between Drake London, uh, Darnell Mani, and B. Jean Robinson, maybe Kyle Pitz, who knows.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: I like how Pitz a costo as tight and eighteen.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_01]: Just from the, fifteen, sixteen round of best ball drafts like I'm still, I'm still taking a bet on how Pitz is my tight and two.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I just think he's just so talented.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: Um, that I'm so willing to eat that cost, like I said, and in kind of the back end of your drafts.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_00]: So the panics thing, the suck by the Atlanta, uh, do you know what happened to their offense and that those last three games?
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: Way to say, I believe they say average points for game.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, probably like thirty five.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it was thirty two.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: So thirty five.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: Well, wait a minute.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: We're in the game.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but Drake London, I think he was seeing like five more targets and like forty more yards.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: Just like it's this.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: But so, but why is connects my Wi-Fi went down.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: So my mobile phone stats, but uh, he is what do you think he's, you know, or you probably know what's he going as right now.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, QB, what is he like?
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: Eighteen, twenty.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, twenty four.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty four, wow, really.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to that line.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: But I get it.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's not running, but as that offense is going to explode, the great O line likes to pass a lot of weapons.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: I guess he's injury prone, but like, I mean, he's got, he's got four, five hundred yards, thirty, he's got four, five hundred yards, thirty touchdown season on the table.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: Think so.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: They seem to throw the ball more last season.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: One Panics was in the game.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if we were just a game strip thing.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: You got a small sample size.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it could have been any number of reasons.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: But so the Falcons threw the ball like thirty two times in last year.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: And the last three games were Panics played.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: They threw the ball.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: Over thirty five times twice including a thirty eight.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_01]: Passive time game.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think that there are probably going to creep closer to that thirty five plus number this year.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_01]: Look if they didn't draft Michael Panics.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: in the top ten last year if they didn't think the world of him and they didn't even play him in the preseason they played him for one drive I think are like a couple a couple drives in the first preseason game and they said you know what we've seen enough disguising credible we are just going to
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, you threw me off there closing your screen.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're good.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: They said, we're just gonna, we're gonna put this gun.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: We don't want anything happening with his knee.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's, he's ready.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm all in.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm all in on the Falcons.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_01]: I love Ray Ray McCloud as well.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: Ray Ray McCloud is probably my favorite.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: One of my top three or four favorite guys I wrote about this season.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: He had eighty seven targets last year.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, Jesus.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, uh, I wouldn't have guessed that.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, which was the one.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they brought everyone back to, right?
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they brought everyone back.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: They mean new changes.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: No major changes.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: That is for as like their past catchers.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle pits is like who knows.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I'm taking the bed at costs, but like he's still such a mystery.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like he might, he might never really break out at this point.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: So again, in one of those offenses that I think is going to be explosive score ton of points, I'm happy to take the wide receiver three, who although is an eight year veteran, seem to have the strange, the strange late career breakout.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll take eighty targets in a strong offense in the last round.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: So we've talked about guys sleepers at Broco last year.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: Darna Munis, one that kind of goes up to the radar, right?
- 34:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was on the bears.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think in a thousand New York season, maybe his rookie second year goes to Atlanta and he'd be he broke out, right?
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was sometimes used better than Drake London.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Is Muni a guy you're targeting?
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: Or is it you like that Ray Ray recloud that Y for three?
- 35:10[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's just a ADP value.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm Tari and Darnon Mooney as well.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: And he's going around picking you five and best ball drafts.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know the exact receiver, like what our expiders here were, forty five or fifty or whatever it is.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Tari getting him.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: I love them.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: I was all and I was in on my last year when he was going in.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're not to make hundreds.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm targeting everybody on it.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_00]: But you said Tyler, you said Tyler, Chuck's your favorite QB two.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_00]: Then it'll shoot at PANX for your favorite QB two.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I, so what?
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: Pentex probably is my favorite keybie too.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think where a man was as far as like if you miss out on like all of like your like mid-round stacks like say you had Drake London and Dornan Moni and you got sniped on on Michael Pentex by forever.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: And you missed out on on Pentex that I'm comfortable waiting to take shock and I'm okay with that.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: But I would much, yeah, if you can get Michael Panics with one of these Falcons pieces, then like you do that.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: You absolutely do that.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_00]: So if you get Drake London, you'll take Drake London, what maybe like, twelve, twelve overall.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: So he's going at fifteen.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think I took him ten yesterday in a draft.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: I took it.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: I was trying to get a little bit different.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: I've done well over a hundred drafts at this point.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: So sometimes you just kind of try to get a little different, especially when drafting around the term.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I took him to commit a ten and I took a, a chain at what it was to be, fourteen or fifteen.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: Um, felt like a fun, felt like a fun start.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then yeah, I, I'm going to take Michael Panics anytime I have Drake London if I'm looking for water rack in that range that Michael Panics goes.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm taking him around early.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and just don't mess around like I'm I'm just going to bite the bullet make sure I get it.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: So how good how good do you think this is that land offense would be finally having talked about be general Robinson, but you think like top five offense it can be there with that buffalo ball to more Detroit.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is a door course team to finish as the best offensive.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: That might be my hot take.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: That might be my hot take of the episode is.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the Falcons stayed there in my door.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's hot these for Andy's frozen.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my wife.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: I can't go out, but I guess I'm on data.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_00]: But we got it in hot take and a stinky number one offense.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: I love that for you.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: Let's keep going.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: So even though let's go tamp out, right?
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen moved to Jacksonville.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: They've been almost a sneaky offense back to back years, which is crazy because nobody thought they'd do it again.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Mike Evans, it's that was Mira Street, Chris Godwin, who was the, why do you see for two points per game before you got hurt?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: a jail in McBillin who was the number one roster team on championship teams last year and they went drafted uh... a macabooca hope that's how it pronounced it who was a lot of people's favorite white receiver in the draft what are we doing with tampa uh... i am my favorite player to buy in tampa is egg booga uh... i think he i think he can really be the white receiver to right away wow yeah real me okay
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: So Chris Godwin is still, there's still not sure if I'll play week one.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a lot of optimism, but we're not sure.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think he had a pretty brutal leg fracture ankle fracture.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans is getting older.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was hurt last season.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, I think a book that could step right in and contribute day one.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, nice.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then would Dale and it well, my bell was going to be one of my number one targeted layers on the draft, but it's it's tap now, but I got my thing.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: I've paid these old white receivers, Mike Evans on he hit his thousand yards, but they kind of cheated and he looked, he looked different.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, he started the season slow.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: Godwin was great.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: Now both of these guys have had an injured last year.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, are we worried with the Liam Cohen leaving and that effect in the offense, or we think Baker's just kind of locked in.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so that's definitely a little bit of a concern, but I didn't they promote from within.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_01]: So it's the continuity still there.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not I'm not overly concerned about it.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: But this offense might this might be a transition year for this offense where you start to see.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: kind of some of the younger guys step in.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: We already saw last year, we're about the year having taken over for Rashad White.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's obviously just going to continue this year barring in unforeseen circumstance.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: I just talked about Mike Evans and Chris Godwin both being heard.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: Still very good football players.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: But getting older may be a little bit more injury prone things like that.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: You mentioned jail and McMillan was going to be one of your one of your big targets same However, he kind of got pushed down a little bit now that they drafted a boooka.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's still really good So I feel like this might be a year where we start to see even if it's just the back half of the year We start to see the young guys start to step up a little bit more as the veterans take a lesser role in this offense and in these tournaments that
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: is really backweighted production as long as you can maintain for the first the first two thirds or half of this season because all the money is made in the second half of the year.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of weighs that a little bit more again as long as you can keep up.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm still very much in on the the younger of the Buccaneers receivers.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, okay, let's move care line out.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_00]: It was not that exciting, but I think you were one of the biggest Chubba Hubbard guys.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: You were big on him.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think all season.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: He was like at the stat here.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_00]: I had set.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's on the heels.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, good.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: I like twenty five percent.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: Chubba Hubbard last year.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: The price was just silly.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: And we're seeing a this year with we go down, but we can talk about him.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, Tuba, he played sixty five, point three percent of the snaps, only behind Kyri Williams, B. John, Sakewon, and Bree's Hall, right?
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, and they said they're he's going to be on the field.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: They brought Dattle in who was really good to finish the year, but he's not really dual threat.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: So he's probably going to be like a, you know, a hard RB too.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: So are we back on to again this year?
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: Do we like Carolina?
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: Are they sneaking out?
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like Carolina, I like to be hovered.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: I like their running game more than their passing game, but I'm definitely buying Bryce Young and his price.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_01]: The Panthers are really easy team to backstack.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just a bonus if you get technique melanore.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: Chewba Hubbard, but to answer your question, yes, I am.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: I am very much still in on Chewba Hubbard.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's got, I mean, he's got work horse ability.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: He can catch passes.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: He was a three down back last year.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: I knew that they want to kind of split the carries a bit and and ease his workload, but I mean, if they need him, he's he's ready to ride.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_00]: And they could be a little better, right?
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: So they're not going to be behind as much, right?
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: They got blown out back to back games, the Saints killed them.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: I forget we too, who beat them.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: But so yeah, okay, Caroline, what is it?
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: And you like tech?
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because these rookie wide receivers, right?
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: That for even three years in a row had been a trend where they were just popping right at the gate.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's all the value is on like La McConkey, Brian Thomas Jr.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: He got Malik, jail McMillan, like I said, was the most roster, Yahoo player, Roman, uh, member hands Jr.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: weren't as great.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: So it seems like the trend is caught up, and this is supposed to be a down here for white receivers, but you're kind of ignoring that, right?
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: You like a book, uh, you see, you didn't really like Matthew Golden as much, but, uh, Carolina Tett, you like Tett?
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: I like tat.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love tat.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'll probably be slightly underweight as far as my exposure goes or maybe maybe pretty just pretty average.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a volume bet with tat, right?
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: Until we really see it from the Panthers offense, it's tough to predict that he's going to explode for, you know,
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: a hundred and eighty targets and fifteen hundred yards in my twelve dash time.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's just it's hard to predict that with price on and show we've seen it.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: So the bet is really that maybe he'll see maybe he will see like a hundred and thirty hundred and forty targets as as the clear top dog and Carolina and and that's enough to get it done but that that's the bet with him and I don't
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to, I don't want a hard fate because I want to have some exposure, but I just don't, I don't love it at cost.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: But if I do not pet, then I am very much trying to target Brace Young.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: of course, of course.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_00]: So one of my things, I think the soft, soft, more water-sever bump is back.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think that water-sever class last year was just so great.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of these guys have now under the radar, like a dunes, a Jailant-Million, McMillan.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: What about Ex-Agerly Gat, right?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: He had that terrible drop against Philly, where they could have beat Philly.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, could you think that tests can be water-sever-one, and Ex-Agerly Gat's water-sever-two, or are you liking the Gat?
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: Talk to me.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think Jailant-Coach is going to be a water-sever-two, it could be ten.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, leave this again.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: You can get him at two o four in your best ball drafts, which is a wonderful price to pay for a wide receiver too.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: But no, seriously, I don't like his Avery look at.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't in on him as a prospect.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's really that for me when it comes to being a receiver like step number one other than catching the ball, of course, is running routes, right?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like to run routes to get open.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: And he's just not very good at it.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that the hype and I don't want to see expectation, but the ceiling and the art type for him is that Debo Samuel.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but I just don't think he's as good as Debo Samuel and I just don't like chasing that hard type because it's so hard to hit on it.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: That like I'm just I'm just willing to be wrong and and eat it.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm Xavier like that's one of those guys that I will have I'll probably have zero.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, zero.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Nice.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Let's move on to the NFC last.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: I got a P quickly.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: So talk to me about talk to San Francisco.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm quickly.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: The forty-nineers.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, this offense is going to be really good.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: They're definitely in for a balanced back as long as everybody stays healthy.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: Ricky Pierce, all of you follow me on Twitter at a Q-fresh.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm all in on Ricky Pierce, so I whenever I post exposures, she's the top receiver on my list.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's a guy that I'm really going all in on.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_01]: He had a monster stretched to end last season.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of folks like Joann Jennings had a breakout last year.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: He was we mentioned the beginning of the article or the beginning of the episode from the article that if you were to take Joann Jennings with your brought party tax, I mean, you did really well for yourself, but I'm not going to take the bet on a career wide receiver four or five that had a year what like four or five breakout.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm just not going to take that bet.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: over a guy like I said like Ricky Pierce all the way as a person on draft capital was explosive last year.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I just expect to continue to get better.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I am definitely going to target Pierce all of the big three wide receivers.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't even mention IU.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't I don't really know what I'm doing with IU because he is going to be on the top.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: The start of these is going to miss at least six games.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, both they like, you know, yeah.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's there's there's the expectation that he might be out of at least eight weeks.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got to think of the ramp up time.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then they have a week, fourteen by so it's like for me, Bernie and I, who could just become a pretty tough click unless he really falls and you get him as like your wide receiver.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: sticks or maybe five, just because like I mentioned a short while ago, these contests tend to reward like the back weighted production.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I can see you world where that happens, but I just, it's a tough click for me knowing he's gonna miss at least probably have to season and then look at the ramp up time and then the bi-week and week-fourteen.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think they've week-fourteen by just tough, just a tough click for me.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I like to hear yourself, and I'm not with you on Jennings.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think he really kind of actually made the leap.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: He sets a big target, right?
- 47:41[SPEAKER_00]: Third and Joanne, every down Joanne, whatever.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: But it's just the first reach here he has with Perti.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's just so high.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I love it.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I love it.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: I find I love all those white receivers in that range.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just big on Jennings.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: I click them all the time.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: And then the theme.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, go ahead, John.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and then right then we got CMC, but so what about Grendo, right?
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: Grendo looked really good in those couple games when Mason and CMC were out.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: Are you fading CMC by taking Grendo?
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: What do we do?
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly what I'm doing.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: And that's exactly what I'm doing.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, folks, CMC can be great.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you think he's all the way up to, well, IP seven or eight.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: In your best ball drafts, I would just much rather take.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: the receivers in the back half of the first round.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: I love Malik neighbors.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_01]: Brian Thomas Jr., Nico Collins.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm an Rossing Brown.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's the one I was missing.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm even cooking at Kua.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like I would just rather take them than Christian McAfrey.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then just to kind of hedge that, I am taking quite a bit.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think last I looked the day or two ago, I was at like, fourteen percent Garrando.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's okay.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's the bet that I'm making.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just I really like him saying healthy.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see if that's a trend.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: William is back, but you know, he or he is their own line.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: But I've just been obsessed with Jason was on the pod.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think right after the Super Bowl or something and he talked about the Niners having that four-class schedule and it's just been stuck in my head forever.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: I just think there's I just looked at this schedule and it's like they play Atlanta like every other game.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like bad defenses.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be putting up thirty-five again at few season bounce, you know.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm all in all the Niners.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's Jennings, Piercello, Grendo, obviously Kittle, and then I also I love getting Brock Carty.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, that team's a full bio so I just see him see for me.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I love I love getting a Piercello of Kittle stacks and then go ahead and just tack on Brock Carty right around, pick on Drew Dersope.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of the things I like to do.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: Kittle is actually his ADP is climbed quite a bit.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: We, like a month or so, you were able to get him in the fifties, but now he's all the way up to, I think, forty one.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is ADP, so he's really kind of climbed up the board, but I'm still, I'm still going to click that a little bit.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: A little less than it was in the fifties, but I'm still still happy to click towards Kittle in the fifties.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: So everyone makes sure if you're on YouTube, no on Twitter, jump to YouTube.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna wrap up in a few minutes.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_00]: So make sure check out Anthony's article.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_00]: We've just been touching on it briefly here.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_00]: There's still this whole steak, this potatoes and some dessert.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: And make sure you hit her draft guide, right?
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: We're dropping articles every day.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: Podcasts just tease it.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing threads on Twitter.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: I promise you that draft guide is gonna be the silver bullet towards helping you when you leak.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's go.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go Seattle, right?
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: So they were kind of a mess last year.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_00]: They were super past heavy.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: The O lines terrible.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's gotten, I don't know if it's that much better.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_00]: But they got rid of Gino, brought in Darnold, got rid of DK, got rid of Lockett.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing with Seattle?
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: Seattle is really interesting.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: I am buying Jason.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_01]: I will, I'll definitely say.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think you will be my highest ranked player the most out to hundred different yates from the traditional lists.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: Jason, one Jason, the number one overall player for you.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, but the biggest discrepancy, you know, okay.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: I know you out.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a diamond.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: I have him.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: I had him right where Drake London is before I saw the Drake London panic stats.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I just, I have him.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: I just as a usage freak run every route.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_00]: I just, yeah, no competition for targets.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: So so you have two questions to be back that we're going to work in the flip rolls here.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like so you have JS and what and like a wide receiver twelve.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just assuming you had paddock or London.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm assuming you had London and like in the top twelve.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_00]: I would take this and a wide receiver ten.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_00]: I would take them before you did Brown.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: That is
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't hate that, that's a take.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's a take.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so my follow-up question is, or my second question is not really a follow-up.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: You said that there's no competition for targets.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: What are you doing with Cooper Cup?
- 52:24[SPEAKER_00]: the the biggest fade in the history of the planet.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't I wouldn't take him for free hard fade.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_00]: I mean yeah, I was I loved him.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a week one.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: Pooca got heard.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_00]: He had like twenty targets.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_00]: I remember Brian was like, Oh, Cooper in triple crown season back, but the separation stats have gone to zero.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's he was running like just five yard outs.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: Pooca's taking all the deep routes, right?
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like all Cooper's going to give you is about five catches fifty yards and he also can't stay healthy.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, I think it's going to be like Randy Moss in the past, late in his career where he's just a dummy decoy and he's just taking people with him and Jason is just going to eat like, we've never seen.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: A hundred and fifty targets, hundred and twenty catches, fifteen hundred yards, twelve touchdowns, top-wide receiver five season incoming boom.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: Come five.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: So is that a hotter take than my Falcon's is the best offense in football?
- 53:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know they're both pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty hot and they kind of take over some super, you know, star teams and receivers to get there.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_01]: But no, I like it.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good one.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: I've definitely been getting my Jason exposure up here.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you was going in like the early to mid-twenties for a while, but he's slid down to the early thirties.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_01]: I've been clicking him quite a bit in the thirties.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, on the graph day, it's the Mac no matter what, I've got Jason no matter what, I just he's just not going to not be on my team.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: Um, okay.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: What do we do with the running backs, right?
- 53:56[SPEAKER_00]: We got Kenneth Walker, Sharpen A, Sharpen A was the RB-one we've won, we've won.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'll help a lot of people advance.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: Walker's injury prone, but he's also explosive, and he showed real dual thread ability.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_00]: He had a lot of me, and I think, twenty, thirty more catches than any of his season before, but the O line still sucks.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: You think they're going to go bell cow, they're going to commit.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: This is, I mean, when Ken Walker plays, he's they typically have used him as the bell count.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_01]: So like the bet on him is that he's going to stay healthy.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's already dealing with an ankle injury.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm largely, I largely lean out on Ken Walker.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take him if he falls a bit and I'm in need of running back and there's just nobody else there.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: from largely out on Ken Walker for the most part.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: So that means that I'm hedging that with some Zack sharpening.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, because yeah, Sharmini looked pretty good.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_00]: He had some really nice leaks.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's dual threat to, but I, you know, with Walker getting his receiving game up so much, I'm a little worried Walker will have to get heard for Sharmini to take over.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: But it's not one of those bucky Rashad white situations, because tennis Walker is really good, but he's had problems saying healthy.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: I know Seattle's talked about pivoting if you run heavy approach after last season.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: So it's, it's a tough one.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_00]: Would you ever take both?
- 55:24[SPEAKER_00]: Would you take Walker and Sharmini or is that just counter and due to for best fall?
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, so it depends to you ask, right?
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm in the minority and that I actually like pairing back field mates, I think.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little bit contrarian.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: It also worked for me last year when I took, it took Zach Moss and Chase Brown both in the same depth and it was my, my big money draft on that one the most money on.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I may be a little bit biased to it, but I'm definitely taking both.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm happy to spend two picks to lock up theoretically an RB one every week.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: Um, because if Ken Walker does imply or takes a vacation or wants a lot of rear, just decides he wants to spend a week with his family or whatever.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, as I'm sure, but I is proven that like he can he can be the RB one on any given week, right?
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm happy to take both.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm happy to take both.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_00]: I love the idea of taking both back, you know, running back some backfield.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: I got my couple buddies drafted you.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_00]: They tried to get gifts in Montgomery.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: The one guy got gifts.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_00]: There was an auction.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_00]: So the other guy just paid a fortune to get Montgomery.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_00]: So put this about it.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_01]: That won't be a good movie.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_01]: Especially because gives him on comery.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think last season.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe was a season before that they were both RB choose or better every single
- 56:47[SPEAKER_00]: been both of them except for maybe one one week but like you were locked into a top twenty four play you could have both of them and you would have been set for your start but for your two starting line yeah yeah and yeah it's the best but so do we like Seattle so it's like Darnell only one year now he's going to probably a worse coach a worse O-line worse weapons you know do you think he can strike lightning in a bottle twice or are we going to see the old Darnell
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think it'll be somewhere in the middle.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's just going to go back to seeing ghosts, but I don't know that we're going to get this, well, we got last season.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, because also the book was kind of out, right?
- 57:26[SPEAKER_00]: The Rams, and what week, sixteen or something, or I don't know, Rams line.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: One of them started blitzing, you know, the hell out of him, and that's show that was the book on him.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_00]: So now with Seattle, with a battle line, if you can just blitz him, like they do, too, I mean, you know, it might it might be a nightmare.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know, do you know, there's the backup QBM Seattle list and towels on Minnesota?
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: It would be Drew Lock, and then obviously they dropped a jail of Miller, but I think I saw that they pretty much said the like, look like jail in my row is gonna need some time, like this isn't gonna be.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: They're not going to throw them out like they did with Anthony Richardson in Indy.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they realize like this is going to be a little bit of a project here.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: So my presumption is that should something happen to Sam Darrell.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be Drew Lock.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: And we saw Drew Lock granted it was in New York with the Giants and that's just a disaster in itself.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: But it wasn't very good.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: Excited for the one week when they played the cults, actually.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I liked Arnold.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love Arnold, but I think that, I mean, he's going in like the one seventies.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_01]: So he's like he's like the last starting quarterback before you get to like shock and whoever is for Cleveland and whatever.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's like the last starting quarterback that I'm like, okay, like if I have a JS and or something and like I need a third quarterback or second quarterback like
- 58:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine taking him like I really don't have too many issues with it, but he's not a guy like, oh, I'm definitely targeting.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: Sam, look at this.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's funny because nobody, you got to prove it twice, I guess, because like Baker, I think was a QB-ten two years ago, but ever thought it was a one-off.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then last year, he was dominating without Evans and Godwin, right?
- 59:10[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe it's the same thing.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_00]: Garnell figured it out, although he switched teams, but maybe now Garnell is just a guy.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be, you know, have a top ten season, thirty-five touchdowns, four thousand yards.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: But it's going to be uphill.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to be tough for him, but
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm okay with him being a QB for JSN.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's not the best, but it's not too bad.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think that more so instead of like the baker may feel where he was just, you had a break out season, then he kind of did it again and we're expecting him to just do it again, right?
- 59:40[SPEAKER_01]: Because the two baker may field is now.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think Sam Darnold probably is going to fall more so into the genos and the bucket were like, hmm.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Gino Smith was, you know, Journeyman, blah, blah, blah, he ended up really having a great season when he got the chance for Seattle.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then he kind of took us that back.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't like terrible.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think he still saw four passing yards.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like what?
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: Really?
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you can wait a minute.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's interesting.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't have guessed that.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, he wasn't as good for fantasy purposes.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like, no, you just go or dashed down.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think we can have good items.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_01]: No, still serviceable, but like not great.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's ultimately what Darnol's gonna end up being.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of one of those quarterback like, fifteen, sixteen, eighteen, ish kind of guys like you as you spikes.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, in the right match up.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we have one more team left.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_00]: Then we're going to wrap up.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_00]: We've been going out.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_00]: This is great.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Arizona.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_00]: Arizona is kind of like, I just, I don't know.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_00]: I just kind of hate Kyler Murray.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_00]: I felt like every time I would back him, he would know show.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_00]: He just tries me crazy.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_00]: But he's do you know he had to bounce back season dual thread they got Marvin Harris junior train McBride James Conner might have one great season left in him defense still is a very good so they should be high scoring on a where you with Kyler and then let's talk about the other guys.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think Kyler's fine.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: He offers a rushing upside
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's not, I don't think that we're going to get that elite Kyler Murray that I think a lot of people thought we were going to get when he was drafted.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think he was like QB-two.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's like ten rushing touchdowns, eight hundred rushing yards.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_00]: That guy's gone.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, like I don't think that guys are coming back, but I think that he's definitely good enough that he can support.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: Good offense of good fantasy football offense too.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that he can definitely have.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_01]: At this bike weeks because of his rushing ability in the way that he can just extend in place.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think we all remember I think it was last season where he just kind of ran around in circles for like.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_01]: only five seconds and then just like, found somebody in the end zone and I think they won the game.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, he has those wild moments, he has those wild games.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: But we're not going to get it every week from Kylo Murray, like a hand that we would like to.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_00]: But his ability to connect with Marvin Harrison Jr., right?
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think, what do you have?
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_00]: A hundred, thirty yards in the first quarter and week two.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I think, Marvin, there are two dust shounds.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_00]: He was the widest ever one in only a quarter, but then he didn't throw it on week one, and then he didn't really throw it on much week in the rest of the season.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: And it took Tray McGrid until a week, seventeen to score a receding touchdown.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, I don't know what's going on there.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a mess.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_00]: Trauma Bride may be on the cover of the most sales, two hundred.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're getting the Travis Kelly's two thousand two season where he was I think five fancy points more than the tight end two.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about this season, but I think we're getting the monster tight end super.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_00]: Trauma Bride cash down positive regression super star season.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm there.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm wicked.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think bad training pride is going to be.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's an incredible this year.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Scott, this bowl this year and I have the ninth pick and I actually, they make expecting to be on the clock here any minute.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think we were picked through pick seven last time I looked.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: And hopefully the guy that's picking eighth isn't watching because I do plan on taking training, right?
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow, nice.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_01]: So the Scott Fish Bowl stat that the scoring is insane.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_01]: So it's three and a half points per reception and per tight ends.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_01]: And everyone else is two and a half points.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_01]: So like there's like an extra bun.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_01]: So like, I'm gonna take the tight end that is the wide receiver one.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_01]: Brock Bowers already went.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_01]: You went, I think fit.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_01]: And it, in my drafts, like I want that, I want that advantage.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I want it without the bonus.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_01]: I was in and like you said, I definitely see he's not going to just score two touchdowns again.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's an even if you just score six touchdowns, which is like
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even like, I don't even think that's really a lot.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_01]: If you score six touchdowns, like you like he's we're having a very different conversation about training pride.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_01]: If you had to excite you're sent to.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to wrap up a quickly with trade Benson because the camel was big on trade Benson.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_00]: He was kind of terrible last year.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: We got James Connor at that RB cliff.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_00]: You got hurt at the end of the season.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_00]: Do we like trade Benson at all?
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_00]: Is he kind of the one of those second year running back to your targeting?
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_01]: So stop me if you see a trend here.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_01]: But see.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_01]: I am fading the aging James Connor for the younger Tray Benson.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think Tray Benson.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_01]: He has the chance to really overtake Connor this year at the age.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_01]: Connor hasn't always been the model of alcohol, though.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's played through a lot of injuries.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's a tough dude.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_01]: But so I think that Tray Benson is going to get a bit more involved this season.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, okay, so that's pretty much going to do it for us.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_00]: So, remember, check out, export these those, check out the draft guide, check out, we had our Discord, add fantasy NFL, we got aunties at AQ Fresh, I'm at Jamal Sales, subscribe to our YouTube feed right, we're dropping pods every week, aunties probably going to come on another couple of weeks, we'll do a draft,
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_00]: We're maybe trying planning to do that a big two, fifty draft later in the summer.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_00]: We're lucky and convince them and then maybe give them some money.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_00]: That'll be paper view.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_00]: Let's show us where all our cards are at.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony, any last words?
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, before we get out of here.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: No, just go check out the article.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_01]: There was a lot of fun to write.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was awesome.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_01]: I want to highlight just quickly.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_01]: One more of my favorite guys, although he is in the pre portion of the article, but that's fine.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_01]: Keaton Mitchell is a guy that I'm taking heat in Mitchell in the seventeenth round.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: I might even take him in the sixteenth round if I have the if I'm going in on Baltimore or Dreamback who they play week, seventeenth.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm thinking Mitchell.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm taking them early because I just think that I'm not going to split me.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, I really don't believe in Justice Hill very much.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_01]: She's been fine.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_01]: But look, we saw it.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_01]: Not last year because he mentioned was essentially heard all last year.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_01]: But in his rookie season when when in the eight games you played like the average, guess, guess his yards were carry.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're points seven.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I know you were trying to be generous, but it's more than that.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_01]: Then point three, eight point four.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's precarious.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_01]: And we all know how Derek Henry can get gamescripted out.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like if the if the room is opened up by a lot like they don't kind of lie.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's not they don't get down by a lot.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_01]: Generally speaking, they don't, but there are those games like a, you know, one choice twice a year, they do.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_01]: And those games where Derek Henry gets seven carries for thirty five yards and no touch towns because they just they don't have the opportunity to use him.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_01]: May I interest you in key and Mitchell to eight for free?
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm at it.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_00]: What time it gets hurt?
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: If Henry gets hurt, key and Mitchell could be a top point of running back, right?
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yes, a key and Mitchell.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_01]: So bear with me here, right?
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_01]: So it's obviously that eight point four yards per carry number is probably pretty unsustainable.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_01]: This key and Mitchell have sneaky top twelve upside if anything were to happen to Derek Henry.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_01]: in that offense.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_01]: And that all kinds of likes to run the ball that has the decoy.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Lamar Jackson is not a decoy because he's phenomenal runner, but like just, I mean, think about it.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_00]: So that's it guys.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for watching.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's been great.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_00]: Love it.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_00]: Always love having it at the end.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_00]: Check us back next week.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_00]: Another pod.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_00]: Another stuff in and we'll be dropping out of close every day.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_00]: Cheers.
