Threads Bible Study: Week 6, The Priesthood

Discipleship Resources | FBC Boerne · Sep 24, 2026 · 1h 7m

Why does the Bible need priests at all? Pastor Jason Smith traces the priesthood thread from Adam's unbroken access to God in Eden, through the mysterious priest-king Melchizedek, to Moses interceding for Israel and Aaron's consecration at the tabernacle, showing how every human priesthood ultimately points to Jesus Christ, our permanent mediator and great High Priest.

Part of the Threads series at First Baptist Church Boerne, tracing a single theme across the whole Bible each week.
