- 0:00Speaker 1: Donald. They are making a Lando series for Disney Plus,
- 0:05Speaker 1: and uh, Donald, Lover's coming back and I just don't
- 0:09Speaker 1: see how anyone could avoid you being on the show.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Wait Donald, when did how did I miss this morning?
- 0:18Speaker 1: Oh see, Joell, I had it right.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Yeah, this is brand new news. They think they just
- 0:23Speaker 3: dropped a trailer. I haven't watched the trail yet.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Trailer, yeah, I think. Yeah.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Somebody was saying that there's some images on Disney Plus,
- 0:31Speaker 3: so I'm not sure if they cut a trailer from Nobody.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Wait too, well, it's there, eve been filmed. No, it
- 0:38Speaker 1: hasn't been filmed.
- 0:39Speaker 3: No, no, no, I think it's footage from Solo that's
- 0:41Speaker 3: been cut up like that, Like yeah, so he's in
- 0:44Speaker 3: there doing his Lando thing and they're like coming soon Lando.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Listen.
- 0:48Speaker 4: I was gonna say, Solo is a good movie. Y'all
- 0:51Speaker 4: can hate if you want to and act like.
- 0:52Speaker 1: So I didn't make it through.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Let's just let me just listen. Let me just tell
- 0:58Speaker 4: you something right now. It was nothing wrong with Solo.
- 1:01Speaker 4: It was a fun Star Wars movie. If it had
- 1:05Speaker 4: come out before the Last Jedi when everybody was kind
- 1:08Speaker 4: of over Star Wars for that little bit of time,
- 1:12Speaker 4: I promise you it would have been well received. The
- 1:15Speaker 4: problem was it was Rogue One, the Last Jedi, and
- 1:19Speaker 4: then Solo, all within a year and a half, and
- 1:22Speaker 4: that freaking made it so everyone was like.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I'm not up for it's too much Star Wars. For me,
- 1:28Speaker 2: it's too much Star Wars. But listen, listen. If that
- 1:32Speaker 2: would have if that were the Force Awakens, let's say,
- 1:34Speaker 2: how about this.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Now, even Star Wars wormholes.
- 1:37Speaker 4: I'm not gonna go down a wormhole. What if that
- 1:40Speaker 4: was one of if that was one of the first
- 1:42Speaker 4: television shows. Let's say that was what The Mandalorian was.
- 1:45Speaker 4: If Solo was what the Mandalorian was. When it came on,
- 1:49Speaker 4: everybody and it and and and they were like, look,
- 1:51Speaker 4: we're not gonna make it a movie, We're just gonna
- 1:53Speaker 4: make it a television show. We're gonna do nine episodes
- 1:56Speaker 4: of Solo. And the first episode was the movie that
- 1:59Speaker 4: we saw. Everybody would be losing their mind on how
- 2:01Speaker 4: great Solo was, So don't give me a bullshit. It
- 2:04Speaker 4: was just too much Star Wars for our own podcast.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. And I also think anytime a directors are
- 2:11Speaker 1: replaced with a new director and that director comes in
- 2:14Speaker 1: and has to sort of start from whatever point he's starting.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I mean, it's kind of a recipe for a disaster.
- 2:21Speaker 5: It was.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It's two different movies.
- 2:23Speaker 4: There's the there's the Christ and Film movie, and then
- 2:25Speaker 4: there's the Ron Howard movie.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I would have really liked to have seen the christ
- 2:28Speaker 1: And Film movie because they're they're funny dudes. But but
- 2:32Speaker 1: I guess my my assumption was always that they they
- 2:35Speaker 1: must have gone off too far in there in their
- 2:38Speaker 1: own direction. And Kathleen kennedyth the woman who you can't
- 2:41Speaker 1: recognize from her identical twin, probably thought like, Hey, that's
- 2:45Speaker 1: not the tone of this. What are you guys doing.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know what I made that up.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I made that up in my head, Joelle. But it
- 2:51Speaker 1: doesn't that sound like it's realistic.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I'm very curious to know the real story of what
- 2:56Speaker 3: all went down. I've heard a lot, a lot of rumors,
- 3:01Speaker 3: but there's there's nothing conferred. Everyone's being very tight lipped
- 3:04Speaker 3: as of now. I think it's a story we'll hear
- 3:05Speaker 3: more about in five or ten years.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Well, I think, yeah, one day it'll Yes.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Everybody's so excited for the Snyder DC cut and everything
- 3:13Speaker 4: like that. Is it really going to be better than
- 3:14Speaker 4: the Justice League movie?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Though?
- 3:17Speaker 1: I don't know, But all I can tell you is this.
- 3:19Speaker 4: I'm just asking out there. Joelle nodded her head like
- 3:22Speaker 4: I don't know. They're nod his head like I don't know.
- 3:26Speaker 4: But everybody bought whatever the fuck HBO Max? Is that
- 3:28Speaker 4: what it is?
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to buy HBO Max?
- 3:32Speaker 6: Or is it?
- 3:32Speaker 1: If you have you have Hbo, do you just get
- 3:34Speaker 1: Hbo Max?
- 3:34Speaker 7: No?
- 3:35Speaker 3: You can actually answer this question. If you have a subscription,
- 3:38Speaker 3: you do not need to buy it. You can use
- 3:40Speaker 3: your can log in like through your.
- 3:42Speaker 1: If I have I have it through my cable or whatever.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I have it, Okay, But if you don't have it.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And you're like, I'd rather just pay like ten dollars
- 3:48Speaker 3: and have the HBO streaming experience, you can do that
- 3:51Speaker 3: as well. It's totally worth it. There's so much content.
- 3:54Speaker 2: And when does the Snyder cut drop?
- 3:57Speaker 3: That is a Google question.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Let me find.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Out how well I'm you know, doing it the best
- 4:05Speaker 4: I can. California just reached reached number one in the US.
- 4:09Speaker 1: With congrats everybody, we did it. We did it.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Thundrous applause, Dan.
- 4:15Speaker 1: No, how about instead of thunderous applause, Dan, you just
- 4:17Speaker 1: do thunderous booing.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Yeah, jeers, Dan, jeers. We did good work.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Did good work, l a good work, California.
- 4:28Speaker 2: We are the worst, dude.
- 4:31Speaker 1: We're gonna be making movies and Stad nobody's gonna make
- 4:35Speaker 1: anything here.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Well, you know it's okay, though, it's okay. We had
- 4:39Speaker 2: it coming. We were so.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Freaking Hey, this is Canada's chance, you know, how like
- 4:43Speaker 1: if we're in pole position for production and Canada is like,
- 4:47Speaker 1: oh shit, and now you how in the cars and
- 4:49Speaker 1: they take it on the turn and then they make
- 4:50Speaker 1: a move on turns. Yeah, this is Canada's chance to
- 4:54Speaker 1: come in and just steal all the US production. Good luck.
- 4:57Speaker 2: They can do it right now. You can do it
- 4:59Speaker 2: right now.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Right now, Canada. You need to make the incentives even
- 5:03Speaker 1: bigger and bam, it's over.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Just don't taxes, just don't taxas. Everyone will come.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Do you know that the film industry started in my hometown, well,
- 5:14Speaker 1: my home neighborhood of well Edison's Black Mariah, where he
- 5:20Speaker 1: was making the very first films, was in West Orange,
- 5:25Speaker 1: New Jersey. That's where his laboratory and where he did
- 5:28Speaker 1: all his work was you can actually go there at
- 5:30Speaker 1: the museum. And the Black Mariah was his first sound stage.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys know this trivia, and
- 5:36Speaker 1: the Black Mariah was a rectangle or square that sat
- 5:40Speaker 1: on a giant circular track and so it could spin.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It had a sun roof and it would spin to
- 5:46Speaker 1: find the light because Edison needed so much light to
- 5:49Speaker 1: make these films that the roof would open and the
- 5:52Speaker 1: whole thing would rotate three hundred and sixty degrees to
- 5:55Speaker 1: find the sun. And so the movie industry begins and
- 5:58Speaker 1: it's like, holy shit, this is a thing. And then
- 6:00Speaker 1: someone goes, why are we doing this in New Jersey?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Why don't we do this where the sun is always
- 6:06Speaker 1: out and it's always seventy five degrees and it's always sunny,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and we don't have to We can do whatever that
- 6:12Speaker 1: we want.
- 6:13Speaker 4: And that's how the song All the leaders, all the
- 6:16Speaker 4: leaves are brown, and the.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Sky he's great, and this guy's great California Cantifonia tree
- 6:26Speaker 2: on a win Tuesday.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Well that was That was a beautiful edition that was
- 6:31Speaker 1: written a few years later in the sixties. But that's
- 6:37Speaker 1: about living in Laurel Canyon, I think right being. There's
- 6:41Speaker 1: a great documentary on the Laurel Canyon music scene. I
- 6:45Speaker 1: highly what it's called Laurel Canyon, I believe. And it's
- 6:49Speaker 1: on Epics and there's a two parter and it's about
- 6:54Speaker 1: the music scene in the sixties and the seventies and
- 6:57Speaker 1: Laurel Canyon, and it's just fucking great. Love music and
- 7:00Speaker 1: music documentaries.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I do love music, and I do. How are you man?
- 7:04Speaker 2: It's not good.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Heather Locklear's here today.
- 7:06Speaker 2: That's a thing that's amazing.
- 7:07Speaker 1: First, is she here, Dan, Joel?
- 7:09Speaker 4: Is she in the waiting room? We should probably get
- 7:13Speaker 4: nobody leaves Heather in the corner.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Heather in the corner. I'm nervous. Can I be honest
- 7:17Speaker 1: with you that I'm nervous too.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I knew that we had a guest, and I knew
- 7:24Speaker 4: that it was somewhat of importance.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Yes, I did not. I'm afraid I did not know
- 7:32Speaker 2: the magnitude of the guests this week.
- 7:34Speaker 1: How did you not know that it was Heather Locklear?
- 7:35Speaker 1: She's the only star in the episode that would that
- 7:38Speaker 1: we would ask, I mean, who did you think it
- 7:40Speaker 1: might be besides Heather Locklear.
- 7:42Speaker 4: I thought it was Shae because this is such an
- 7:44Speaker 4: important episode.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Also, No, Shae specifically requested his story, which I believe
- 7:49Speaker 1: is the episode Johnny C voiceovers, Okay, so I think
- 7:54Speaker 1: that's one of Shay's favorites. So we said, Shay, you pick.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Because this is such an important story in the whole
- 8:01Speaker 4: you know, scrubs thing. This episode is so important.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I never imagine in my whole life that I would
- 8:07Speaker 1: ever be in a position to keep Heather lockle your wings.
- 8:11Speaker 2: That's not doing anymore.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Let's end it.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Let's stop stories.
- 8:17Speaker 5: I'm not sure we made about a bunch of dogs
- 8:21Speaker 5: and nurses, and Jan said, here's a story nets No,
- 8:29Speaker 5: so Yeather here, Yeather here.
- 8:37Speaker 1: No, Heather, can you hear here?
- 8:41Speaker 2: We go there she is.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I got so excited. My dogs are all barking. Now, Hey,
- 8:51Speaker 1: shut up, I'm talking to Heather Locklear.
- 8:55Speaker 6: How are you guys?
- 8:56Speaker 1: Hi, Heather. We are so excited you're doing this. We're
- 8:59Speaker 1: very Geeka.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Believe it again.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Donald, you look like you're in a closet with clothes.
- 9:06Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 9:07Speaker 4: Where are he is in a closet with clothes that
- 9:12Speaker 4: you nailed it.
- 9:12Speaker 2: This is my closet. I share it with my wife.
- 9:16Speaker 6: I was hoping because there's a nice pink Yeah, put.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Something up, something else up, because it was just my
- 9:22Speaker 4: golf shirts and stuff.
- 9:23Speaker 2: She would like, that's ugly to look at. Let me
- 9:25Speaker 2: put let me put.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Oh you didn't tell me that those dresses were up
- 9:28Speaker 1: as background designed by Casey. I thought that they were
- 9:31Speaker 1: outfits she might be wearing. So now you're telling me
- 9:33Speaker 1: that Donald might be or Donald might be wearing. But
- 9:35Speaker 1: you're now you're saying that Casey didn't like the look
- 9:37Speaker 1: of the closet on the and decorated a little bit.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Yeah, she put up. She put up something so that
- 9:41Speaker 4: the backdrop was a little different.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Camera.
- 9:44Speaker 6: That is so, Zach, you're all happening there.
- 9:47Speaker 1: That was, yes, Heather, I I, well, Donald has Donald
- 9:50Speaker 1: has two young children, and so he kind of has
- 9:53Speaker 1: to hide out in his walking closet. To do this point.
- 9:56Speaker 7: Here, I put my dog out with my boyfriend because
- 9:59Speaker 7: he would can be all over and and my daughter
- 10:02Speaker 7: just left Donald. I have to say, she just wanted
- 10:05Speaker 7: to say that she has a crush on you. I
- 10:07Speaker 7: don't think she Yeah, I don't think she ever saw Scrubs,
- 10:10Speaker 7: but she I don't think she was alive, but I
- 10:12Speaker 7: think she saw Uptown Girls.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Right, we've been talking about this now we have so
- 10:20Speaker 1: much to ask you. But wait, since you brought it up,
- 10:22Speaker 1: let's start with Uptown Girls. Donald's told us a lot
- 10:24Speaker 1: of fun memories of making that movie. Heather, did you
- 10:26Speaker 1: have a good time making that movie?
- 10:27Speaker 7: No, he had good friends with the co stars. He
- 10:29Speaker 7: really didn't talk to me. I think we had one
- 10:31Speaker 7: night out.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 6: He was really sweet, but he had He was very much.
- 10:35Speaker 7: In a group, and I was the old lady of everything.
- 10:37Speaker 7: So I was like, I can't.
- 10:38Speaker 2: That's not it at all.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Donald, Were you too cool for school?
- 10:42Speaker 7: So?
- 10:43Speaker 2: I was so harvous?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yes, I was tru he was. He was, he was, trust.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Me, I was.
- 10:50Speaker 6: That's so sweet.
- 10:51Speaker 4: We had I think we had one Yeah, just one
- 10:54Speaker 4: night out, right, that was it.
- 10:55Speaker 6: It was one long night, long night in a line
- 10:59Speaker 6: or something. Yeah. Yeah, but I makeup and stuff.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that was fun time. I enjoyed making that movie.
- 11:06Speaker 4: I enjoyed being in New York City in the summertime.
- 11:08Speaker 6: That was so cool. I know, It's like, I all
- 11:10Speaker 6: go to New York. That's great.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's so rare when someone actually lets you shoot in
- 11:14Speaker 1: Manhattan these days or even those days. So when someone's
- 11:17Speaker 1: like it's a movie and you're like, okay, I like
- 11:18Speaker 1: the script, they're like, and it's shooting in Manhattan.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, exactly right, that's how it always.
- 11:24Speaker 4: We were just saying that how Vancouver has an opportunity
- 11:27Speaker 4: right now, right this mode.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but they could snatch up all the work.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I know. We just said that before you, before you
- 11:34Speaker 1: came on, and Heather, we were saying that Canada is
- 11:36Speaker 1: in a position since the since COVID is just devouring
- 11:39Speaker 1: Los Angeles just to steal production once and for all.
- 11:42Speaker 6: Oh for sure, yeah, just not.
- 11:45Speaker 1: With us, but maybe one day to let us in.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Maybe one day to let us in.
- 11:50Speaker 6: We never really wanted to go to Canada so much,
- 11:53Speaker 6: I know.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And now and now it's it's exactly like like life
- 11:57Speaker 1: when someone's like, now we don't now you know. Now
- 11:59Speaker 1: we're all like, please let us in, Please let me
- 12:01Speaker 1: let us be in a relationship with.
- 12:02Speaker 6: You, right exactly.
- 12:05Speaker 1: The Heather, I was just looking at your IMDb and
- 12:09Speaker 1: an actor could only dream to have had the length
- 12:12Speaker 1: of a career you've had. I mean, you have I can't.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I I donald, and I can only hope that that
- 12:18Speaker 1: we have a fraction of the success you've had over
- 12:20Speaker 1: your life. Oh you already do no, no, no, you started,
- 12:24Speaker 1: you started.
- 12:25Speaker 6: I'm older than you. Well, i'm older than you. Time
- 12:27Speaker 6: to catch up.
- 12:28Speaker 1: You have, but you started very young. And now is
- 12:31Speaker 1: it true that I was just looking? What was the
- 12:34Speaker 1: was chips? Your very first job? That's what I mean?
- 12:36Speaker 7: He says, it was my first job. My first line,
- 12:39Speaker 7: Make them stop? Please, make them stops.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I remember that was good.
- 12:46Speaker 7: It was actually a group of motorcycle riders throwing a
- 12:50Speaker 7: girl up in a blanket. I don't know if it
- 12:52Speaker 7: was me or someone else, but I remember for the audition,
- 12:55Speaker 7: I was always nervous. And for the audition, I heard
- 12:58Speaker 7: the girl before me say make them so please make
- 13:01Speaker 7: them stalk.
- 13:02Speaker 6: When I'm like, oh, that's the way I'm supposed to
- 13:03Speaker 6: do it. So I copied her.
- 13:08Speaker 1: You stole her line reading I'm gonna try that.
- 13:11Speaker 6: Yes, I did.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I was.
- 13:12Speaker 6: It was very good.
- 13:13Speaker 1: So wait, why was it so these motorcycle man? I
- 13:15Speaker 1: just want to catch the scene. They have a teenage
- 13:17Speaker 1: girl in a blanket and they're throwing there's.
- 13:19Speaker 7: Two of us, and and I think, yeah, they might
- 13:23Speaker 7: be throwing the other girl up in a blanket and
- 13:25Speaker 7: there she's so terrified of these guys, and I'm screaming,
- 13:29Speaker 7: make them stop.
- 13:29Speaker 6: I don't know who I'm screaming to.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Probably probably, yeah, probably to John. I hope it was
- 13:36Speaker 1: that came to your rescue. Yeah, it's like if you're
- 13:39Speaker 1: on if you're on Chips and like your storyline didn't
- 13:42Speaker 1: involve ponch or John. I wonder that happened with us,
- 13:50Speaker 1: Like people like you know, Heather, you got to do
- 13:52Speaker 1: two episodes and you got to interact with almost everyone. Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I'd be funny if you came to do a show
- 13:58Speaker 1: that was popular and like, you know, your storyline didn't
- 14:01Speaker 1: include any of the lead carreat can you.
- 14:03Speaker 7: Imagine You're like, oh, that's well, oh, actually there was
- 14:06Speaker 7: something I did. I did The First Wives Club, and
- 14:10Speaker 7: there was a couple of scenes and there was there
- 14:13Speaker 7: was a couple of scenes that they cut out of me,
- 14:15Speaker 7: and then the only scene that I had had no lines.
- 14:18Speaker 6: And one of the.
- 14:18Speaker 7: Actors were at a funeral and he's supposed to take
- 14:21Speaker 7: his hand and touch my breast and they show that
- 14:24Speaker 7: and and he actually touched more than that. It was
- 14:27Speaker 7: kind of gross, and so I said, can you just
- 14:31Speaker 7: take my name off the credit since now I don't
- 14:33Speaker 7: have any lines or and you know, saw everyone from Afar,
- 14:36Speaker 7: so it was creditless.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So wait, you're in the First Wives Club and the
- 14:39Speaker 1: only thing that happens is a man grabs your breast.
- 14:42Speaker 7: He doesn't grab it, he actually outlines my areo low
- 14:45Speaker 7: with his finger.
- 14:46Speaker 6: I didn't say that in the script.
- 14:48Speaker 7: I was like, I'm so glad they're following his hand
- 14:51Speaker 7: down because my face, my mouth is fallen open and
- 14:53Speaker 7: I can't believe it.
- 14:54Speaker 6: And don't do it again, just one taken.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Let's go, Oh my god. Yeah, you know, I always
- 14:59Speaker 1: you know, I've never asked someone this, but it's just
- 15:02Speaker 1: it must be. It's a it's a blessing because you're
- 15:05Speaker 1: such a stunning woman and always have been a sex
- 15:07Speaker 1: I think it's safe to say you were a sex
- 15:09Speaker 1: symbol because you are you are were Okay, no, you
- 15:13Speaker 1: were in R and uh is it ever? Because Donald
- 15:17Speaker 1: and I never faced this problem. We're not sex symbols.
- 15:20Speaker 1: But I mean, did you ever feel like did you
- 15:23Speaker 1: feel like did you did you sometimes feel like guys
- 15:26Speaker 1: like I don't. I want to do the part, but
- 15:27Speaker 1: I don't want to do that that random sex scene
- 15:29Speaker 1: with that guy, Like, does that have to be in there?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Does that come up?
- 15:31Speaker 6: Well, it wasn't really. We were we were in a funeral.
- 15:34Speaker 6: We were on the benches at the church. Yes, so
- 15:37Speaker 6: it was, and so there was more to the part.
- 15:39Speaker 7: And I had built the bigger, bigger scenes, and that's
- 15:42Speaker 7: they just thought they I don't know, maybe I was
- 15:44Speaker 7: bad in it, and they went, let's just put that.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I doubt it. You're one of the viewer. You're one
- 15:48Speaker 1: of the very few people. You're one of the very people.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Then we were talking about you because you're one of
- 15:53Speaker 1: the very few people that was on two hit shows
- 15:56Speaker 1: at the same time.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Right right, that was very cool.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'll tell us about that you were doing. You were
- 16:01Speaker 1: doing Dynasty and and.
- 16:04Speaker 6: T J Hooker. I how opposite can you be?
- 16:09Speaker 7: And Dynasty I think they let me go because they
- 16:12Speaker 7: were letting someone else go, and I'm like, okay, So
- 16:14Speaker 7: then I got this other job t J Hooker, and
- 16:16Speaker 7: then they brought me back, so you know, I would
- 16:19Speaker 7: We were week here in a couple of days on Dynasty,
- 16:23Speaker 7: and it was no big deal. I wasn't the main
- 16:25Speaker 7: first character, so it's only on a few lines in
- 16:27Speaker 7: each thing.
- 16:27Speaker 6: It wasn't tough about it.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It was a big deal because that doesn't ever happen
- 16:30Speaker 1: to anybody.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Was two different networks, A two different networks.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Now it was ABC and it was they were both
- 16:36Speaker 6: spelling O that.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Yeah, Aaron Aaron Spelling sure did love Heather Locklear.
- 16:43Speaker 6: He sure did. And then he passed away. And then
- 16:45Speaker 6: I'm like, jobless.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Listen Bill, Bill Lawrence.
- 16:53Speaker 7: Lock Well, I did Spin City and I'm not sure
- 16:56Speaker 7: if he was writing on it then or not. I'm
- 16:58Speaker 7: not sure what the thing was. Maybe he left, but
- 17:01Speaker 7: I think he might have created it. Is that true
- 17:03Speaker 7: or not?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yes, he created the show, and I'm sure if he
- 17:05Speaker 1: wasn't writing that he obviously thought you.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Were very funny something.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah. But he also, you know, Bill is a very
- 17:12Speaker 1: one thing about our friend. He's very loyal and when
- 17:15Speaker 1: he likes people, he likes to work with them over
- 17:18Speaker 1: and over again. So even if he wasn't writing the
- 17:21Speaker 1: show at the time, the fact that you were on
- 17:23Speaker 1: the show means he was like, oh, you know, he's
- 17:25Speaker 1: obviously seen your work and thought, oh, she's so funny.
- 17:28Speaker 7: She's so beautiful, And well, I befriended his wife, and
- 17:31Speaker 7: so now I get Christmas cards.
- 17:34Speaker 1: That's the way in that's the way.
- 17:36Speaker 6: It's always through the wife.
- 17:39Speaker 2: What was t J.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Hooker like, because we always hear all these Shatner stories,
- 17:42Speaker 1: mostly from Star Trek, but but you knew like Shatner,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I mean, this is a long time ago.
- 17:48Speaker 6: Well, he was very intimidating to me.
- 17:51Speaker 7: And he's like, when you stop speaking, saying, you know,
- 17:53Speaker 7: like you can't think for any line. It's kind of
- 17:55Speaker 7: like on your show on Scrubs, you can't think, you
- 17:57Speaker 7: can't go hum. I mean you do, you guys do,
- 17:59Speaker 7: because then you have that bubble where you're doing something else.
- 18:02Speaker 7: But he would say, if you stop speaking and take break,
- 18:05Speaker 7: I'm gonna start. I'm going to jump in.
- 18:06Speaker 6: So I'm like la. And it was always like license
- 18:10Speaker 6: plate numbers.
- 18:10Speaker 7: I'd have to remember, oh, license plate blah blah blah
- 18:12Speaker 7: blah blah, and this and blah blah. And they'd have
- 18:14Speaker 7: different fifty different characters in one show. And so I
- 18:17Speaker 7: was just delivering the boring information and it made me
- 18:19Speaker 7: so nervous. So and he'd look at me and stare
- 18:22Speaker 7: and wait and I'd go.
- 18:25Speaker 6: And he'd jump in and that was about it.
- 18:28Speaker 2: He is, he is very intimate. He's Captain Kirk. I
- 18:30Speaker 2: can understand.
- 18:32Speaker 7: Well, I didn't ever see those shows, so he was
- 18:35Speaker 7: this William shatt.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Even at the last, even at the time, Heather, were
- 18:38Speaker 1: you curious to not to go back and see, like,
- 18:40Speaker 1: let me see what this was? This guy's thellure of Shatner.
- 18:44Speaker 6: Yes, I did. I could see the allure.
- 18:46Speaker 7: He's very charming, but he's very and he's very funny
- 18:50Speaker 7: and very dry. I ended up doing a Boston Legal
- 18:54Speaker 7: with him, and.
- 18:55Speaker 6: That was fun.
- 18:56Speaker 7: And I was a little older more it seemed closer
- 18:59Speaker 7: to his age than when I was eighteen and brand new.
- 19:04Speaker 7: But he and then I remember going, I think, I
- 19:06Speaker 7: don't maybe.
- 19:07Speaker 6: It was Nobu and I.
- 19:10Speaker 7: It was he and his wife, and we went to
- 19:13Speaker 7: some place where you throw the braws off and you
- 19:15Speaker 7: put him on the ceiling something like something similar, something similar.
- 19:21Speaker 7: I don't think it was that, but it was another
- 19:23Speaker 7: place and I was on the bar and I go,
- 19:26Speaker 7: should I take it off? And I'm thinking, he's probably going,
- 19:28Speaker 7: why are you asking me? And he said sure, and
- 19:30Speaker 7: I took it off and it's left there somewhere.
- 19:33Speaker 2: So he's like, why, why are you.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Right?
- 19:42Speaker 6: What's his name? On a Seinfeld the little guy who.
- 19:48Speaker 8: Yes.
- 19:48Speaker 6: So he is a huge.
- 19:50Speaker 7: Fan of William Shatner's And if you watch, he goes,
- 19:52Speaker 7: tell me what Shatner's like, tell me what he's like.
- 19:54Speaker 7: And I'm like, well, sometimes he's an asshole and sometimes
- 19:58Speaker 7: he's not. But he's like, oh, I got and I
- 20:00Speaker 7: didn't want to, you know, say anything there.
- 20:02Speaker 6: I mean, there's nothing wrong with Lilliam Bill.
- 20:04Speaker 7: But so you if you go back and watch, you'll
- 20:07Speaker 7: see his cadence is similar to William Shatner's.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Really, now you have to look at it differently.
- 20:16Speaker 7: Yeahs coming over exactly.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Wow, this is going to blow people's mind. So Jason
- 20:27Speaker 1: Alexander was such a big fan of William Shanner that
- 20:30Speaker 1: if you listen to his cadence, some of it is
- 20:31Speaker 1: in the spirit of that unique Shatner cadence, exactly.
- 20:37Speaker 2: With I want to meet the person.
- 20:39Speaker 4: I want to meet the person who's a fan like
- 20:41Speaker 4: like it's such a fan of like Christopher walkin and
- 20:43Speaker 4: tries to steal his cadence. That's the hardest cadence I've
- 20:46Speaker 4: ever heard in my life. That is the toughest I
- 20:48Speaker 4: feel at.
- 20:49Speaker 7: Home speaking right seeing of Wait, by the way, you
- 20:55Speaker 7: do a great Jimmy crack corn of Neil. Yes, I
- 20:59Speaker 7: had that stuck in my head.
- 21:03Speaker 6: I don't care.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Only that is the only impersonation that I can do
- 21:07Speaker 4: that's actually close to it. It's it's it's only because
- 21:12Speaker 4: when I was a kid, I used to watch you know,
- 21:14Speaker 4: Transformers and G I Joe after school on you know,
- 21:20Speaker 4: W P I X, and they would always in between
- 21:23Speaker 4: the shows that they would play a commercial for Neil
- 21:26Speaker 4: Diamond's greatest hits, and I could only get the first
- 21:31Speaker 4: few lines. I don't I've never owned a Neil Diamond record.
- 21:35Speaker 4: I've never been to a Neil Diamond concert. I've never
- 21:38Speaker 4: seen a Neil Diamond movie. All I know is that
- 21:42Speaker 4: he sang a bunch of songs and they went like,
- 21:44Speaker 4: turn on your hard light, very good, let it shine.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Wherever you go.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Around the world, come into America.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Now.
- 22:02Speaker 1: It's the only all the years I've known Himhather, it's
- 22:06Speaker 1: the only impression he does. Well.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Yeah, like they tried to get me to Aaron, I
- 22:11Speaker 4: can't do.
- 22:24Speaker 1: That's great. That's all we got now. I'm guessing Jimmy
- 22:27Speaker 1: Krackcorn is probably a public domain song. I'm guessing because
- 22:31Speaker 1: they didn't. Maybe that's why we chose it because we
- 22:34Speaker 1: didn't have to pay for it. But all the songs
- 22:37Speaker 1: in this episode, Heather, sometimes, now that these shows are
- 22:40Speaker 1: all streaming, some of the songs had to be replaced
- 22:44Speaker 1: because the contracts they signed for the original show didn't
- 22:46Speaker 1: didn't extend to streaming. So, uh, this episode I thought
- 22:50Speaker 1: really suffered because there was some good music in this
- 22:52Speaker 1: episode that is all gone. I don't know if you
- 22:55Speaker 1: guys I didn't notice it.
- 22:56Speaker 6: Yeah I did watch, but I didn't.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Well, is supposed to be and Nelly song, right, and
- 23:01Speaker 1: that was not the song.
- 23:02Speaker 2: If you want to go and take a ride.
- 23:04Speaker 1: With me, might be the man. And then wow, So
- 23:14Speaker 1: I just wanted to say that the show ends and
- 23:17Speaker 1: it's supposed to be like we're on a rooftop and
- 23:19Speaker 1: in downtown l A. And it's it's like and then
- 23:22Speaker 1: I was really I was really noticing that that song.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Whenever they replaced the song. Well, what happened was someone
- 23:28Speaker 1: that went in. I think it was Randall random.
- 23:34Speaker 6: He did spin City.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Yeah, well he he told Donald and I that he
- 23:38Speaker 1: was the one who had to oversee someone going, Hey,
- 23:41Speaker 1: we got to fill in these slots, and so I
- 23:43Speaker 1: don't know, they're not nearly as good, but I guess
- 23:45Speaker 1: if you have the DVDs, you're the only person with
- 23:48Speaker 1: the real all the real original music. But we usually I.
- 23:51Speaker 6: Think I do.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Should we get into the recap?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Let's get into the recap because we've got the hother
- 23:55Speaker 1: lockleyre here. Janeya Bachan wrote this episode very.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I mean, do you want me to do the thirty
- 24:01Speaker 2: minute recap?
- 24:02Speaker 8: Oh?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Sorrycatnutesry. I forgot Heather. We have a new thing there, Donald.
- 24:10Speaker 4: It's not new anymore, but we keep forgetting it. But
- 24:12Speaker 4: Zach keeps forgetting about it.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I love it. I know why I forget about it.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I love it.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I don't know either. Listen, it's anxiety for me. I
- 24:19Speaker 4: freaking sit down and I really think about it. And
- 24:22Speaker 4: sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. That's how it goes.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Anyway, Heather. He is going to sum up the whole
- 24:27Speaker 1: episode in thirty seconds and then together we'll go through
- 24:31Speaker 1: and really parse it all out. But now I get
- 24:33Speaker 1: to stop watch out hold on Donald's.
- 24:35Speaker 4: Okay, Listen, this might be a little bit longer than
- 24:36Speaker 4: thirty seconds, But I really.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Like it when you at least try to get thirty second.
- 24:40Speaker 4: But then I might miss out on things and stutter
- 24:42Speaker 4: over my words because I'm so nervous.
- 24:44Speaker 2: This is This is very nerve wracking. But here we go.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Get ready, your marks, get set go.
- 24:49Speaker 4: This episode's about a bunch of things, but mostly it's
- 24:52Speaker 4: about double standards. Turk and jd are fine if they
- 24:55Speaker 4: rob the hospital, but not each other. Conx hates his
- 24:58Speaker 4: hates the fact that his girlfriend had baggage, but winds
- 25:01Speaker 4: up having his own. Elliott loves the perks of having
- 25:04Speaker 4: daddy take care of everything, but longs to make her
- 25:06Speaker 4: own career decisions. This is an important episode because at
- 25:10Speaker 4: the end, all of them are moving forward in their
- 25:12Speaker 4: personal lives. Turk and Caller at the next level of
- 25:16Speaker 4: their relationship, Jordan and Cox are going to start a family,
- 25:19Speaker 4: Elliott is stepping away from her comfort zone, and the
- 25:22Speaker 4: hospital is becoming more of a backdrop, meaning this is
- 25:25Speaker 4: a sneak peak of what's to come.
- 25:27Speaker 6: Oh shit, that was amazing.
- 25:29Speaker 1: It was amazing. It was thirty nine seconds. So in
- 25:32Speaker 1: some ways you failed. But let me tell you how
- 25:34Speaker 1: you listen, let me tell you.
- 25:35Speaker 2: How I feel. I don't care. I don't care if
- 25:37Speaker 2: I feel it anymore. I don't care because it could be.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I'll do a minute one next time.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I want to give you a genuine comment.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I wan to do a minute one next time, Donald, I.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Want to give you a genuine complement. Donald, that was
- 25:51Speaker 1: no bullshit. That was a very good summary, and you
- 25:53Speaker 1: actually highlighted things that I didn't even see. I saw
- 25:57Speaker 1: what you were saying in terms of the episode being
- 26:01Speaker 1: uh being about new chapters in a sense, but I
- 26:03Speaker 1: didn't think of it in the Macrol like, oh, this
- 26:05Speaker 1: is a shift in in in the show, in that
- 26:10Speaker 1: we tease the marriage, We tease Johnny c And and
- 26:12Speaker 1: Christa getting back together.
- 26:16Speaker 2: We tease Elliott going off on her own.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Right, Elliott is separating from her parents and and and
- 26:21Speaker 1: and being financially independent.
- 26:22Speaker 4: And JD realizing he's about to be in limbo at
- 26:25Speaker 4: the end of the episode, right JD.
- 26:27Speaker 1: JD nervous about losing his best friend because Carla says
- 26:30Speaker 1: the word we about Turk and her and and He's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 26:34Speaker 1: what's happening here? Am I gonna lose my best friend.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So my point is that was very good because your
- 26:40Speaker 1: your summary was not just hey, here are the facts.
- 26:43Speaker 1: It had some insight into it. I will gladly give
- 26:46Speaker 1: up those nine seconds of failure appreciate the insight.
- 26:49Speaker 2: So that thunderus applause, Dan, thunderus applause, Dan, Dan.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I'm going to approve that. Thunderous applause. Secondly, I wonder
- 26:56Speaker 1: if we should make it so when we add these
- 26:59Speaker 1: thunder supplause sound of X if we both need to
- 27:02Speaker 1: improve it's like it's like you know in the Nuclearic
- 27:05Speaker 1: Code where they both have to turn their key.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, not my favorite part of Superman U three
- 27:11Speaker 2: with Richard Pryor in it where he's pretending he's drunk
- 27:15Speaker 2: and he has to put the keys in at the
- 27:16Speaker 2: same time and he makes he makes a little uh
- 27:20Speaker 2: not a concoction, but like a little uh levy using
- 27:22Speaker 2: another person. If you ever get the opportunity.
- 27:25Speaker 1: What about the beginning of war games? What about the
- 27:27Speaker 1: beginning of war games when they go turn your key, sir,
- 27:29Speaker 1: turn your key and he puts his gun. Oh that
- 27:32Speaker 1: was a great scene.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Love it.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Sorry, Heather. We sometimes have trouble staying.
- 27:37Speaker 6: On t that's I love it. This me things to
- 27:40Speaker 6: look for.
- 27:41Speaker 1: This podcast should be called a digression.
- 27:46Speaker 6: That's okay, it's good.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Some people I see, some people on the web were
- 27:49Speaker 1: commenting like, I really enjoy it, but they don't always
- 27:51Speaker 1: talk about the episode. I'm like, well, guys, that's the show.
- 27:53Speaker 1: This is the show.
- 27:54Speaker 2: That's the show.
- 27:55Speaker 6: The show is there, right, the show, the show is
- 27:58Speaker 6: this right.
- 27:59Speaker 2: We also have Joel and Daniel. Okay, so they talk
- 28:02Speaker 2: about things out of nowhere.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah, all right. So the first thing I laughed at
- 28:06Speaker 1: out loud was when I walk in. Karla is in
- 28:10Speaker 1: the apartment and I pick up our taxidermy dog to
- 28:14Speaker 1: hide my my tidy whities, and Donald walks in he goes,
- 28:17Speaker 1: don't use rowdy to cover up your giblets.
- 28:24Speaker 6: The dialogue is excellent.
- 28:26Speaker 4: A weird word for what, a weird word for what,
- 28:29Speaker 4: A great word for grind.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Giblets is like giblets.
- 28:34Speaker 2: It sounds like what what is it? Gizzards?
- 28:37Speaker 1: To me, like, what are giblets? What are giblets? It's
- 28:40Speaker 1: the extra it's the extra stuff you biscuits, a burning
- 28:44Speaker 1: GiB Giblets are the stuff you don't use when you
- 28:46Speaker 1: cook a turkey.
- 28:48Speaker 6: Right whatever, I don't know, I take it out. I
- 28:53Speaker 6: don't know.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Go ahead a culinary term for edible offal of a
- 28:57Speaker 3: foul that typically includes the heart, the actual gizzards, liver,
- 29:02Speaker 3: and other organs.
- 29:04Speaker 6: I know what those other ones are?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no one. No one cooks chicken penis. It
- 29:13Speaker 1: might be a delicacy.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Someone You.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Never know either. Do you like eating weird stuff? Or
- 29:21Speaker 1: are you conservative with your you know?
- 29:24Speaker 7: No, I eat like what's weird giblets?
- 29:27Speaker 1: I don't well, I'm not saying eatlets, but like to
- 29:29Speaker 1: eat like, you know, when you're out and about and
- 29:32Speaker 1: someone says, oh, try this weird food. Do you do
- 29:34Speaker 1: you do that? Because I normally don't. I'm like, no,
- 29:36Speaker 1: have you ever?
- 29:37Speaker 2: Have you ever had snails?
- 29:38Speaker 1: No, I've never had.
- 29:40Speaker 9: I have.
- 29:40Speaker 7: That's good, but no, I usually ask for someone else
- 29:43Speaker 7: to taste it first and look at their face.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Donald Donald, are you an adventurous I don't think you
- 29:51Speaker 1: get you to you like what you like?
- 29:55Speaker 4: I don't around with food, man, But you like sushi.
- 29:58Speaker 4: I do like sushi, and I like lit and texture
- 30:00Speaker 4: is a big deal for me. And if I know
- 30:02Speaker 4: what it is and then the texture is what I imagine
- 30:06Speaker 4: it would be like.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Then I have a problem with it. Like somebody was like,
- 30:10Speaker 2: do you like beef tongue? And I was like, absolutely
- 30:12Speaker 2: not no.
- 30:14Speaker 4: And it's all because when I was younger, I tried it,
- 30:16Speaker 4: and my grandmother made it and I tried it and
- 30:19Speaker 4: it tasted exactly well, it didn't taste like but it
- 30:22Speaker 4: felt in my mouth exactly what I thought a tongue
- 30:25Speaker 4: would feel like.
- 30:26Speaker 7: You can always like just check your own tongue and
- 30:30Speaker 7: it's probably.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Like that exactly what it was like chewing on my
- 30:33Speaker 2: own tongue. And I was like, I'll never ever ever
- 30:35Speaker 2: see it.
- 30:36Speaker 1: In like the deli counter. They'll be just like a
- 30:38Speaker 1: giant beef tongue. It's I don't like that.
- 30:42Speaker 6: All those butts.
- 30:43Speaker 1: People eat brains too, they eat cow brains, right.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Yeah, no, you know it's a delicacy in some places.
- 30:48Speaker 4: It's like it's like watching Indiana Jones and the Temple
- 30:50Speaker 4: of Doom Chilled monkey Brain.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yeah, as we talked about that movie Gaming Nightmares.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Yeah, this was a big episode, yeah, from me in particular.
- 31:01Speaker 4: When I look back at it now, it's even bigger.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Ken Winningham, the first Black director Scrubs has ever had yes,
- 31:09Speaker 4: uh directed this episode.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I think this is its first time directing it too.
- 31:14Speaker 1: And Ken's a very good director, and he became one
- 31:17Speaker 1: of our regulars because we love Ken Winningham.
- 31:19Speaker 4: He's gone on to direct so many shows. Yeah, he's
- 31:22Speaker 4: directed pretty much everything. He's directed pretty much everything.
- 31:25Speaker 2: But I remember thinking, I remember thinking about, oh, they
- 31:29Speaker 2: hired a brother.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Okay, so that that was good. I mean that was
- 31:33Speaker 1: that made you feel like, okay about obviously about time, guys,
- 31:38Speaker 1: it's like middle of season two. How about some people
- 31:40Speaker 1: of different minorities that are directing the show? Right, we did,
- 31:44Speaker 1: we had had a we had a woman, we'd.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Had a couple of women director already at this point.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Right maybe Gail man Cuso, I think, mm hmm yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 1: But I mean, now, now this is twenty years later,
- 31:55Speaker 1: this is still a big conversation.
- 31:56Speaker 6: Isn't that crazy?
- 31:58Speaker 4: Yeah, it's what it is, you know, you know, we've
- 32:01Speaker 4: still got to make these moves. But it's it's it's
- 32:03Speaker 4: what it is, and it's time for it's time to
- 32:05Speaker 4: change that. We've got to restart coming up soon.
- 32:09Speaker 2: So that's that's uh, that's.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Now now And again this I think in a in
- 32:14Speaker 1: a good way. There's a mandate making sure people do it. Say,
- 32:18Speaker 1: you know, the networks in the studios have really said
- 32:20Speaker 1: when I when we made our show alex Inc. They said, no,
- 32:22Speaker 1: we want you know it isn't It isn't like oh,
- 32:25Speaker 1: you guys can do whatever you want. It's like, no,
- 32:27Speaker 1: we would like a certain amount of minorities to be represented.
- 32:30Speaker 1: We'd like a certain amount of women to be represented.
- 32:32Speaker 1: And I think that that's really great and only getting better.
- 32:35Speaker 2: I agree with you one hundred. Let's go to break, guys.
- 32:38Speaker 1: We're gonna go to break and be right back with
- 32:41Speaker 1: Heather Luckier and we're I'm weeping at two fifty four
- 32:54Speaker 1: because doctor Cox, I think winked at me. And that's
- 32:57Speaker 1: how happy I am.
- 32:58Speaker 6: That is a price.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Were those real tears or did something?
- 33:04Speaker 1: No? No, I mean when I'm doing a dramatic thing,
- 33:07Speaker 1: I can get myself there, but in a comedic cart
- 33:10Speaker 1: in no way, am I just gonna start bawling?
- 33:12Speaker 2: All right? I want to ask you. I want to
- 33:13Speaker 2: ask you to do it either.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Can you do that? Can you cry on cue?
- 33:16Speaker 6: No?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Right, it's very hard.
- 33:19Speaker 4: I mean I want you to tell the garden State story, dude,
- 33:22Speaker 4: tell the story of Natalie Portman and tell the story
- 33:24Speaker 4: of you. The two different versions of crying in that movie.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Well, Natalie is very good at that. Natalie, like some
- 33:31Speaker 1: actresses I know, can sarry Chalk's another person I know
- 33:34Speaker 1: who can do this, can kind of go off in
- 33:36Speaker 1: the corner for a minute and get herself into a headplace. Yeah,
- 33:39Speaker 1: and then and then do it and cry for me
- 33:42Speaker 1: and then Garden State. She had to do that a
- 33:43Speaker 1: lot because she had some some crying moments for me.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I it actually was a blessing in disguise because when
- 33:52Speaker 1: there was a scene in in the in a bathtub
- 33:54Speaker 1: empty bathtub, were sitting and I was meant to cry,
- 33:57Speaker 1: and I there was a we shot the master shot first,
- 34:01Speaker 1: and and and and like I said, just being in
- 34:03Speaker 1: that moment and with such a good actress, and it
- 34:05Speaker 1: was so real. It genuinely happened, and I cried, and
- 34:09Speaker 1: it was a powerful moment, except that it was the
- 34:14Speaker 1: big wide master right, and and the camera wasn't gonna
- 34:17Speaker 1: see most of that. It was just sort of establishing
- 34:19Speaker 1: the room. The trick for those of you who aren't
- 34:22Speaker 1: in the entertainmentustry and doing what we do is now
- 34:24Speaker 1: you're gonna to do that over and over and over again.
- 34:26Speaker 1: You're gonna have to do it when when the medium shot,
- 34:28Speaker 1: you have to do it, when it's a close up,
- 34:29Speaker 1: you're gonna have to do it when it's over Natalie's shoulder.
- 34:31Speaker 1: And for me that was close to impossible to just
- 34:34Speaker 1: keep being able to emulate what had happened naturally in
- 34:39Speaker 1: the wide shot. But that's that's the task of a
- 34:41Speaker 1: of an actor. But for me it was but as
- 34:44Speaker 1: But I was also directing, so then I had to go, Okay,
- 34:46Speaker 1: this isn't gonna match, and you know what, maybe it's
- 34:49Speaker 1: too much. So I decided just to just on on
- 34:53Speaker 1: the spot, go if it's not happening naturally, I don't
- 34:56Speaker 1: want it to be this false. So then it became
- 34:59Speaker 1: I only shed one single tear, and then we had
- 35:02Speaker 1: a joke about her collecting it in a in a
- 35:04Speaker 1: little plastic cup. But but so that that was kind
- 35:08Speaker 1: of how I helped, because when I was directing, I
- 35:09Speaker 1: felt like, you know, if it's forced and it's false
- 35:11Speaker 1: and it's weird that I'd rather not have it even
- 35:13Speaker 1: be in the in the show, is that what you
- 35:15Speaker 1: meant to me.
- 35:16Speaker 4: The exact story I was talking about. I found that
- 35:18Speaker 4: such I found that so fascinating. It was like the
- 35:21Speaker 4: scene was supposed to be something else, and you, you know,
- 35:26Speaker 4: you blew your wad in the first you're in the burst,
- 35:33Speaker 4: and now it's and now it's time to do it again,
- 35:35Speaker 4: and it's like, all right, well, we're not going to
- 35:37Speaker 4: get that.
- 35:38Speaker 2: And you turned it.
- 35:39Speaker 4: You turned the negative into a positive. And it's actually
- 35:41Speaker 4: one of the more powerful scenes in the movie.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, thank you.
- 35:45Speaker 6: It's pretty great.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Thank you. You're go ahead.
- 35:49Speaker 6: No, no, you guys.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I was going to say that it's a it's a
- 35:51Speaker 1: good lesson for filmmakers out there. It doesn't have to
- 35:57Speaker 1: be related to tears, but about about adapting. So thing
- 36:00Speaker 1: happens and you go and I've had this happen. You know,
- 36:02Speaker 1: when you're directing something, whether it's a music video or
- 36:04Speaker 1: a giant feature film, every day something is gonna happen
- 36:07Speaker 1: where you're gonna go, Okay, that's not according to plan.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Is this a blessing in disguise? So for me, in
- 36:12Speaker 1: this example Donald's talking about, it was like being able
- 36:15Speaker 1: to cry NonStop for hours was just not gonna happen.
- 36:19Speaker 1: It just wasn't what my head wasn't in that space.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I was also directing the movie and had so much
- 36:23Speaker 1: anxiety going on, So then it was like shifting, Well,
- 36:25Speaker 1: what if it's not that. Maybe maybe balling like that
- 36:27Speaker 1: is way too much for this character. What if it's
- 36:29Speaker 1: what if? What if it's actually a joke that all
- 36:31Speaker 1: I can produce is one tier and we laugh about it.
- 36:35Speaker 1: So sometimes just going with it and coming up with
- 36:38Speaker 1: a new plan on the spot is one of the
- 36:40Speaker 1: most crucial things of being a filmmaker, but also a
- 36:45Speaker 1: lot of blessings in disguise can come out of it.
- 36:47Speaker 7: Usually when I'm in that place, the director says, don't
- 36:50Speaker 7: blow it on this master. We're it's gonna be for
- 36:53Speaker 7: a second and then we'll come in and do that.
- 36:55Speaker 7: But I do find what you said. I mean, I
- 36:59Speaker 7: don't think tears unless it's like for whatever reason is
- 37:03Speaker 7: called for. I think the real moment is when you're
- 37:05Speaker 7: in the moment, and if it comes, it comes, But
- 37:07Speaker 7: usually your face and your heart starts to happen, and
- 37:10Speaker 7: all kinds of stuff happen. It's becomes more real rather
- 37:12Speaker 7: than showing something and trying to get to show something.
- 37:16Speaker 6: It's whatever else happens.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I agree, And it never feels as good as a
- 37:19Speaker 1: pet peeve of mine when you watch so many movies
- 37:21Speaker 1: and TV shows where someone is crying but there aren't
- 37:24Speaker 1: tears coming down their face. Yeah, next time you watch
- 37:28Speaker 1: it a crying scene, notice if the person has actual
- 37:31Speaker 1: tears in their eyes, because a lot of times they're
- 37:33Speaker 1: scrunging up their face and making the noises, which is
- 37:36Speaker 1: just a huge pet peeve of mine. I would if
- 37:39Speaker 1: the moment, if it's a necessity and the project needs it.
- 37:42Speaker 1: There are there's mental things that can blow in their eyes.
- 37:45Speaker 1: There's all sorts of tricks like if it's mandatory, go
- 37:47Speaker 1: do it. Go fake it, but don't don't do the
- 37:50Speaker 1: there's no water in your eyes scrunch up face thing.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I hate that.
- 37:55Speaker 7: I feel like Jane Fonda did that on Golden Pond
- 37:58Speaker 7: or something she talked about that she had no tears
- 38:00Speaker 7: left or some.
- 38:01Speaker 6: I don't remember something like that.
- 38:02Speaker 7: But yeah, I think whatever the real moment is is
- 38:06Speaker 7: if there's not a tear, yeah, just don't fake it.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Just go.
- 38:09Speaker 7: Yeah, people have reactions about stuff and it's no tears
- 38:12Speaker 7: come out, of course.
- 38:13Speaker 1: And also sometimes even as a writer, I find myself
- 38:16Speaker 1: writing something where I'll go, you know, in the script,
- 38:19Speaker 1: all right, she hears the news and instantly breaks down crying,
- 38:23Speaker 1: and then you think, in reality, a lot of times
- 38:26Speaker 1: people that doesn't happen at all. You might cry later,
- 38:29Speaker 1: but in the moment of hearing it, you're just fucking dumbfounded.
- 38:32Speaker 1: You're sitting there like like you know what I mean?
- 38:35Speaker 1: And you have to catch yourself as I have to
- 38:37Speaker 1: catch myself as a writer going be very sparing with
- 38:40Speaker 1: with with with tears direction and yeah, of course, because
- 38:44Speaker 1: that might happen naturally, but also it can get especially
- 38:48Speaker 1: it's tricky when you're writing. I'm one of the things
- 38:49Speaker 1: I'm working on now is this is this drama, and
- 38:52Speaker 1: I have to find you have to find those moments
- 38:53Speaker 1: so it doesn't feel like, oh my god, there's all
- 38:55Speaker 1: these these tears and and how do you do that
- 38:58Speaker 1: when the stuff you're talking it is very heavy? Well,
- 39:01Speaker 1: what happens in real life? You know, we Donald and
- 39:04Speaker 1: I just had a friend. I of course I cried,
- 39:06Speaker 1: but I got to tell you a night sorry, thank you.
- 39:09Speaker 1: But nine times out of ten I was more sitting
- 39:10Speaker 1: there like this dumbfounded with my with my head in
- 39:13Speaker 1: my hands and my jaw dropped. You know, so you
- 39:15Speaker 1: got to you gotta remind yourselves about what's what's real,
- 39:17Speaker 1: what's what's really, what's what's true, what really happens.
- 39:20Speaker 7: I remember doing a scene for Dynasty. I don't think
- 39:22Speaker 7: I've ever been angry in my life, you know, in
- 39:24Speaker 7: that up to that time, and I was angry, but
- 39:29Speaker 7: I'm so angry I started crying, and uh, I think
- 39:32Speaker 7: they were like, what the beff is she doing? But
- 39:35Speaker 7: that was a real emotion for probably just for me,
- 39:38Speaker 7: you know, because being angry and that brought it about.
- 39:40Speaker 6: But I ended up there.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Did they use it? Oh? Good? See I love that stuff.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I love happy accidents, you know.
- 39:47Speaker 2: You know.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Yeah, in the in the comedy world, we are always
- 39:50Speaker 1: you know, it goes without saying you're trying to keep
- 39:51Speaker 1: those moments in. You know, we riff something we think
- 39:53Speaker 1: it's But in the drama space too, you want to
- 39:56Speaker 1: be like, oh my god, Heather got so fucking she
- 40:00Speaker 1: started crying. Eureka, that was natural, that was real, Like
- 40:04Speaker 1: keep it like that's the stuff, that's the precious things
- 40:07Speaker 1: we all stumble into, you.
- 40:08Speaker 6: Know, Yes, yeah, it's amazing what.
- 40:11Speaker 1: We started something was comedically. I can never do it comedically.
- 40:14Speaker 4: So right that Meg Ryan scene in Freaking when Harry
- 40:19Speaker 4: met Sally when he comes over and she's crying because uh,
- 40:25Speaker 4: she's gonna be thirty soon and he's like when she's
- 40:28Speaker 4: like some day and she's.
- 40:29Speaker 6: Crying, but it's there.
- 40:34Speaker 4: That's one of the best scenes ever in the history
- 40:37Speaker 4: of that scene right there.
- 40:39Speaker 1: That was your favorite comedic that's your favorite comedic crying moment.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Yeah, easily one of That is my favorite comedic crying.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Sara Chalk sarh Chalk was good at doing it for
- 40:50Speaker 1: real on this show because she had times I think
- 40:52Speaker 1: even we've talked about it where she had to be like,
- 40:56Speaker 1: you know, crying pretty much on cue, not even from
- 40:58Speaker 1: a dramatic moment, from like from like.
- 41:02Speaker 6: It's pretty hard, I think.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Analgesic, now I didn't know what what an anal
- 41:08Speaker 1: jesuck was. It's aspirin. Yeah, but we've always laughed at
- 41:12Speaker 1: this joke because your patient thinks it's anal jesic and
- 41:15Speaker 1: puts the pills in his butt.
- 41:16Speaker 2: His But.
- 41:20Speaker 6: That's so good.
- 41:22Speaker 1: That's a great joke.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Yeah, it's great it's pronounced analgesic. The pills go in
- 41:26Speaker 4: your mouth?
- 41:27Speaker 1: Sir, Yeah, no, I didn't. I didn't know what that was,
- 41:30Speaker 1: did you don Donald, you didn't know either, right, I
- 41:32Speaker 1: don't know how many people got that joke at the time.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Well, no, the joke isn't that.
- 41:37Speaker 7: The joke is actually when you tell him that it's
- 41:39Speaker 7: not on you.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Yeah, right, right, Yeah, who gives a ship?
- 41:44Speaker 1: Okay, you're right, you're right, you're right. Who cares? What
- 41:47Speaker 1: it really is? The joke is, old man, don't put
- 41:48Speaker 1: these bills in your ass anymore? Exactly that guy, I
- 41:54Speaker 1: think Donald, if I'm not mistaken, he was like a
- 41:57Speaker 1: regular go to old man we often use.
- 42:00Speaker 2: I've seen all of was he in a bunch of episodes.
- 42:02Speaker 1: I've seen him a few times be like the go
- 42:05Speaker 1: to ancient old man.
- 42:08Speaker 2: You want to ask Wiki or is this something that.
- 42:11Speaker 1: With Wiki's not going to know that And we haven't
- 42:13Speaker 1: given him his his funkle pops? Dan? Are those his
- 42:15Speaker 1: funkle pops behind you? I didn't know.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Dan has his bunkle pops right behind him.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Dan, I didn't know if you purchased those for yourself
- 42:23Speaker 1: or if they were for Scrubs Wiki guy. I acquired
- 42:26Speaker 1: them so that we could get this signed as as
- 42:28Speaker 1: as possible. Okay, Heather, you might want some of these
- 42:31Speaker 1: there we scrubbs funkle pops.
- 42:34Speaker 4: We have a Scrubs Wikipedia type page where you can
- 42:39Speaker 4: look up facts on the show. And so we got
- 42:43Speaker 4: the guy who helped curate this whole thing with a
- 42:45Speaker 4: bunch of other people, and he comes on the show
- 42:48Speaker 4: every now and then the answers questions for us. But
- 42:52Speaker 4: he's he's not really into it, Like he's kind of
- 42:54Speaker 4: into it, but he's not really into it.
- 42:55Speaker 1: So we're bribing him, bribed.
- 42:57Speaker 6: A technical advisor kind of guy.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Somewhat of a Yes, that's a that's a great way
- 43:03Speaker 2: to put it. Yeah, that's a good.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Way of saying it. He's technically advising. He's like the
- 43:07Speaker 1: keeper of the Scrubs Bible, right, Yeah.
- 43:11Speaker 4: I guess so and so we but we got to
- 43:14Speaker 4: bribe him with funko pops otherwise he doesn't do his job.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Well, what is oh show for, Heather? They're the they
- 43:21Speaker 1: kind of look like bobbleheads. They're they're a very popular thing.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Grown up action figures is what they are. Their action
- 43:26Speaker 4: figures from grown ups.
- 43:28Speaker 1: It's kind of like a it's kind of like a bobblehead,
- 43:31Speaker 1: but they don't bother. These ones don't bobble I don't think,
- 43:33Speaker 1: right Dan, these are Bible ones. Right. There are funko
- 43:37Speaker 1: pops that that that bobble We didn't get those.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Okay, that's very cool.
- 43:43Speaker 1: So if your daughter is truly a fan of Donald Beason,
- 43:48Speaker 1: I know it's from Uptown Girls, but you could get
- 43:49Speaker 1: her a Donald Faison Funko pop.
- 43:52Speaker 6: You know her boyfriend would be destroyed.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Okay for him break right up.
- 44:02Speaker 2: That would be the coolest thing ever. I could walk
- 44:04Speaker 2: around and say that I broke them up.
- 44:07Speaker 7: The craziest thing is be if my daughter wore that
- 44:09Speaker 7: dress behind you, oh my.
- 44:11Speaker 2: God, she might like it.
- 44:13Speaker 4: Well, my wife would probably break up with men up.
- 44:19Speaker 1: I like that. So there's this pressure, as we understand it,
- 44:23Speaker 1: for for women young doctors to go into become ob
- 44:27Speaker 1: g y ms because they make a lot of money,
- 44:30Speaker 1: I guess. So we have this thing where the Guano
- 44:34Speaker 1: girls are are coming after. That was funny, and then
- 44:37Speaker 1: Jad goes in his fantasy and they're having a pillow
- 44:40Speaker 1: fight and they start making out and then he gets interrupted.
- 44:43Speaker 1: So he never gets to see any of the fun sex, right,
- 44:46Speaker 1: And then he tries to go back into the fantasy,
- 44:49Speaker 1: and she says, I'm very glad that we experimented with
- 44:52Speaker 1: each other, but I'll never do it again. That, Yeah,
- 44:56Speaker 1: he's missed the whole dreamy fantasy.
- 44:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I love the at that Uh that when uh
- 45:04Speaker 4: Heather and Cox are walking through the hallway and she's
- 45:07Speaker 4: saying hi to all the other doctors and everything like that,
- 45:10Speaker 4: he thinks she's just flirting and she's like, no, no, no,
- 45:13Speaker 4: I slept with them, right.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I hea Heather unabashedly the characters. Like he was like, thinks, oh,
- 45:22Speaker 1: you're bribing them because you're selling pharmaceuticals. She's like, no, no,
- 45:24Speaker 1: I just slept with them. That her though, she was like, no,
- 45:28Speaker 1: you get to fuck around like it. I bug around.
- 45:30Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, and that's my motto too.
- 45:33Speaker 4: I think that's I think that's everybody. I think we're
- 45:36Speaker 4: starting to gear into that being everybody's motto now, Like
- 45:39Speaker 4: that shouldn't be any stead Like that's what I was saying.
- 45:41Speaker 2: This show is such about.
- 45:42Speaker 4: It's this episode in particular is about double standards, you.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Know what I mean?
- 45:46Speaker 4: And how to and how we and how we tackle
- 45:48Speaker 4: double standards. This dude's so bent out of shape, uh
- 45:52Speaker 4: that you slept with guys at the hospital, but he's
- 45:55Speaker 4: got a pregnant lady, yeah in his back pocket and
- 45:59Speaker 4: what I mean.
- 46:00Speaker 2: And it's like, yep, come on now, you can't. You can't.
- 46:02Speaker 6: What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Exactly right, exactly, Heather, did you have fun working with
- 46:08Speaker 1: our with our pal, the legendary Johnny c McGinley, Because
- 46:11Speaker 1: it looks like you guys had great chemistry.
- 46:13Speaker 7: He was so much fun and everybody talks so fast
- 46:17Speaker 7: on that show.
- 46:17Speaker 6: I was like, oh my god, here I am. Well,
- 46:19Speaker 6: I shot, but no.
- 46:21Speaker 7: I had a great time with him. And yeah, he
- 46:24Speaker 7: was very, very fun. I really adored him.
- 46:26Speaker 2: You guys had such good chemistry together. He thanks Yanks.
- 46:30Speaker 1: You did, you had a good You had a good Bansward.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I'm sure Johnny c was excited when Bill was like, oh,
- 46:34Speaker 1: in your love interest for the week is Heather Locklear.
- 46:39Speaker 6: I don't think so. Really fun.
- 46:44Speaker 2: John c McGinley was single at this moment too.
- 46:46Speaker 4: He was like, yeah, he did the Ralph Hamme.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Heather we were talking about and then the episode before
- 46:55Speaker 1: this one, because you're in that one too, about these
- 46:58Speaker 1: pharmaceutical reps who were all attractive women and they flirt
- 47:02Speaker 1: with the doctors. Did you know about this lunch? Yeah?
- 47:04Speaker 1: Did you know about it?
- 47:06Speaker 6: I did know about it.
- 47:08Speaker 7: They were like, oh, yeah, they take all the doctors
- 47:10Speaker 7: to lunch and they flirt with them and give them
- 47:12Speaker 7: all them you know, And yeah I did. I was
- 47:14Speaker 7: very well aware. But my favorite line was aintal leakage.
- 47:18Speaker 7: And the thing I got to say, I loved saying anal.
- 47:22Speaker 6: I think I might.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Be a good ringtone. That could be a good ringtone. Guys,
- 47:26Speaker 1: another one, another one one, Heather lockleyer saying anal leakage
- 47:32Speaker 1: could be your notification.
- 47:39Speaker 6: But yeah, so that but I did. I was aware
- 47:41Speaker 6: of that.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Yeah, because we were talking about in the last episode
- 47:44Speaker 1: how it was such a thing where they they hired,
- 47:47Speaker 1: they recruit these beautiful women who who doctors are going
- 47:50Speaker 1: to flirt with and go to dinner and drinks with
- 47:52Speaker 1: and uh and and we kept this going, you know,
- 47:54Speaker 1: you bring all this swag to the hospital and the mug. Actually,
- 47:57Speaker 1: if you see there's an earlier scene in this where
- 47:58Speaker 1: I'm holding coffee out of a plo Max's mug. That's
- 48:02Speaker 1: the that's the Oh my gosh. And then I think
- 48:04Speaker 1: Donald didn't we keep it going for like a lot.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Many shows up in the hospital.
- 48:09Speaker 1: There was always plow mak stuff all around because of
- 48:12Speaker 1: all your all the swag you left stayed around for years.
- 48:16Speaker 7: Now here's something I wonder. You know, they always say
- 48:18Speaker 7: beautiful women doing that, But are there beautiful men doing it?
- 48:22Speaker 7: Because there's female doctors.
- 48:23Speaker 1: That's a very good question. I think there are. I think.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I'm sure I had a handsome friend. I had a
- 48:28Speaker 1: handsome friend from high school who became one of those guys.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I definitely think they're they lean to being good looking
- 48:35Speaker 1: people because I don't know, I think, I think again.
- 48:39Speaker 1: I just remember knowing about this twenty over twenty years
- 48:43Speaker 1: ago because I knew girls who did it, and they
- 48:46Speaker 1: were all very pretty and they and they would tell
- 48:48Speaker 1: me they were like, you won't believe how fucked up
- 48:49Speaker 1: this is, like, people don't know, people don't I remember
- 48:51Speaker 1: a girl from my from my high school telling me,
- 48:54Speaker 1: you don't. You can't believe the data we have on
- 48:56Speaker 1: these doctors, like the ship we know, we know, we
- 48:59Speaker 1: know when they're prescribing it. What else they're prescribing If
- 49:01Speaker 1: they're not prescribing that, how many How it's compared to
- 49:04Speaker 1: last month when we gave them a big incentive that trip.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Look how much the graft showed, how much they prescribed
- 49:11Speaker 1: it more And I just can't remember. I remember being like,
- 49:13Speaker 1: this is so fucked up, and then I thought it
- 49:15Speaker 1: would be like I thought it'd be like discovered and over.
- 49:18Speaker 1: It's like Paola back in the day of the radio
- 49:19Speaker 1: station days, and no, it's still going on. It's still
- 49:23Speaker 1: going on today, Like aren't.
- 49:24Speaker 7: The doctors aware that this is happening?
- 49:26Speaker 1: And there, Yeah, the want they want the golf trip
- 49:30Speaker 1: and the pretty woman.
- 49:31Speaker 4: I'm sure I would love to go play golf with
- 49:33Speaker 4: the pharmaceutical rep. Get me out of the hospital for
- 49:36Speaker 4: four hours.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Personally, Yeah, and sometimes it's like a golfer treat. All
- 49:41Speaker 1: you have to do is go like watch the Plomox
- 49:43Speaker 1: video and then you're like on a golfer treat, right, Yeah, yeah, Donald,
- 49:49Speaker 1: we have to let Heather lockleyer go because we only
- 49:51Speaker 1: asked her, Yes, listen, we only we only recruited a
- 49:56Speaker 1: legend for an hour, and we can't we can't keep it.
- 49:59Speaker 6: You're funny, you guys funny, but how do.
- 50:00Speaker 1: We really want to take you? Because we we were
- 50:05Speaker 1: both genuinely nervous. So I'm sorry if we spoke fast
- 50:08Speaker 1: and nervously.
- 50:09Speaker 7: No, no, me too, So I'm right with you. It's
- 50:13Speaker 7: a pleasure.
- 50:14Speaker 4: But it was such a big deal to have you
- 50:16Speaker 4: on the show when when uh this, I remember when
- 50:19Speaker 4: it happened and they were like, we got head a
- 50:21Speaker 4: Lockliyer and me being like, holy ship, hell did we
- 50:24Speaker 4: get head.
- 50:24Speaker 6: Of locklier because you had a good show?
- 50:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well, thank you very much.
- 50:28Speaker 4: But it was such a it was it was such
- 50:31Speaker 4: an amazing moment, amazing moment to have you on the
- 50:34Speaker 4: show and then still having an end also because we
- 50:37Speaker 4: had spent the summer together doing Uptown Girl.
- 50:39Speaker 6: Yeah right, that was crazy. It was really nice.
- 50:41Speaker 7: And you know what, it was such a joy for
- 50:43Speaker 7: me to do because it was so different from what
- 50:45Speaker 7: I was doing. And the writing is excellent, the show
- 50:48Speaker 7: is great, and you guys are great and et cetera,
- 50:51Speaker 7: et cetera.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Well, thank you, Heather. We really.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Good to see you. Take care. Do we have a call?
- 51:01Speaker 1: We do? We do have a caller? Are you gonna
- 51:05Speaker 1: take them right away? We have to go to break.
- 51:06Speaker 1: What do we do?
- 51:07Speaker 2: I think we should go to break.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Let's just talk for one second about Heather Lockview. I
- 51:10Speaker 1: have to have been I was very nervous. I spoke fast.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I apologize to the audience. You have to understand. I
- 51:16Speaker 1: had such a crush on her as a as a
- 51:18Speaker 1: young person, and uh, I was tongue tied. Donald, I
- 51:23Speaker 1: was tongue tied.
- 51:24Speaker 2: You did great. You know what.
- 51:25Speaker 4: I I sensed that you were a little nervous.
- 51:27Speaker 6: I was.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Talking like that, but.
- 51:31Speaker 4: I sensed it, and so I tried to throw you
- 51:33Speaker 4: into a comfort zone and just have you talk about
- 51:36Speaker 4: you know, uh, Garden State.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that was good.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Good Alley you yeah, yeah, you got me.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I see what you did. You're a good co host,
- 51:43Speaker 1: you said. Zach's rambling nonsense. Why don't I steer him
- 51:47Speaker 1: to some subject he likes to discuss directing films?
- 51:51Speaker 2: Right exactly?
- 51:52Speaker 1: I see, God, you're good.
- 51:53Speaker 2: It's just because I love you, fucking hell.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I love you. I want to shiny dome.
- 51:58Speaker 2: And on that note, we'll be right back.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Mm hmm.
- 52:06Speaker 1: How about Sarah calling a vagina a bajinga I had?
- 52:09Speaker 1: Is this something that.
- 52:11Speaker 2: It goes on forever it goes.
- 52:12Speaker 1: No, But I'm saying, like, did they make this up
- 52:15Speaker 1: the Scrubs writers? Because what that? I never heard of
- 52:17Speaker 1: Vagina called a bajinga before.
- 52:18Speaker 4: I've heard it called so many things that it has
- 52:21Speaker 4: to somebody somewhere has to call it a bagenga, like
- 52:24Speaker 4: I've heard nanny.
- 52:26Speaker 1: My key key vertical, smile.
- 52:28Speaker 4: My right, my my, my new new my she she yeah,
- 52:33Speaker 4: my bajenga, budget, my Vagina, my bird, my birdginer, Yeah, Myagina, Yeah, Vagina.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Like Joe Joel Joel or any Joel or any of
- 52:55Speaker 1: those nicknames from Vagina. I don't know, we'll have to
- 52:57Speaker 1: google it.
- 52:59Speaker 2: I've never heard of, I've never heard. It's crazy that
- 53:07Speaker 2: you got to kind of put it like a different like,
- 53:09Speaker 2: I don't know where this accident would come from, but
- 53:11Speaker 2: it's sort of like a groul, my giant giant, too much.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Vagni too much, too much? Another another one.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Another one.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Oh, that's a fun game to play make up nonsense
- 53:30Speaker 1: terms for Vagina. I'm glad we played.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Well, you know we are well.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Listen, Bijingo is bajingo. That's that becomes Sarah's term for vagina.
- 53:39Speaker 2: It's her go to. It's her go to. Let's bring
- 53:42Speaker 2: it our.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Guest, Okay, but don't mention any of the vagina terms
- 53:45Speaker 1: around the guest.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Dude, I'm done. I'm done with it.
- 53:49Speaker 4: Be appropriate, Hey, Hilly and Shelly, who's Shelley.
- 53:59Speaker 9: Shelley is my mom. So the last time I used this,
- 54:03Speaker 9: we were playing categories with my boyfriend who's in England.
- 54:07Speaker 9: But the day to you, oh.
- 54:11Speaker 1: You, She took audience members, She took a sip of
- 54:15Speaker 1: a of what looks like an apple teen.
- 54:17Speaker 2: It looks like an apple teeny. I don't think it's
- 54:19Speaker 2: just wearing water.
- 54:20Speaker 1: She's wearing a Han Solo tang top. Donald.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Yeah, she knows the way to my heart.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Yes she does.
- 54:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna say something. I'm gonna say something real quick. Yeah,
- 54:30Speaker 4: go ahead, Helly, you might just be the best guest
- 54:32Speaker 4: we've ever had ever.
- 54:33Speaker 1: She's wearing that shirt. Can you tell Donald where to
- 54:36Speaker 1: get that shirt? Haley? Please?
- 54:37Speaker 2: Got it?
- 54:37Speaker 9: Forever twenty one?
- 54:38Speaker 1: Like Donald, that's.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Not gonna be Donald.
- 54:42Speaker 1: Do shop in Forever twenty one, Donald's Forever forty six.
- 54:45Speaker 4: You know, I thought Forever twenty one was the store
- 54:47Speaker 4: that you went to when you were twenty one.
- 54:49Speaker 9: I thought that too, but I was not twenty one
- 54:52Speaker 9: when I bought.
- 54:53Speaker 1: It, so I thought Forever twenty one meant that you
- 54:55Speaker 1: wanted to look like a twenty one year old.
- 54:57Speaker 4: That's not what it means that everything under everything is
- 55:00Speaker 4: twenty one dollars an under or something.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, Joelle, is that true?
- 55:05Speaker 6: I think there's things for over.
- 55:07Speaker 2: It's it. Listen, I will see this.
- 55:08Speaker 6: You can buy three dollars.
- 55:10Speaker 9: Items were more expensive, but.
- 55:13Speaker 2: Yeah, like it, but you can divide it and at
- 55:16Speaker 2: the end you get twenty one, right, something like that.
- 55:20Speaker 1: This is oh my god, this is a mind blowing
- 55:22Speaker 1: moment for me, because I up to this moment thought
- 55:25Speaker 1: the whole concept was, let's say you're a little bit older,
- 55:27Speaker 1: but you miss feeling like a little hip. You can
- 55:30Speaker 1: go to Forever twenty one and you're gonna look forever
- 55:33Speaker 1: twenty one.
- 55:34Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, no, it's it's it's you got
- 55:36Speaker 4: a couple of You got a couple of twenty ones
- 55:39Speaker 4: in your pocket, five dollars in your pocket, you can
- 55:46Speaker 4: get five outfits from Forever twenty one.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Okay, I did that math quick. That was quick.
- 55:51Speaker 1: That's relatively good. Where are you calling from, Hayley.
- 55:54Speaker 9: I'm in Solo, Dad, California, at my mom's right now.
- 56:00Speaker 9: So this is where I've been all locked down.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Where is Sola, Dad? Where is Sola Dad? I don't
- 56:04Speaker 1: know where that is.
- 56:05Speaker 9: So it's near. It's about half an hour south on
- 56:07Speaker 9: the one O one of of Monterey. Okay, okay, So
- 56:11Speaker 9: it's there's nothing here, there's nothing.
- 56:14Speaker 1: What do you have to do?
- 56:16Speaker 2: You didn't do?
- 56:17Speaker 1: What do you do in Solo Dad?
- 56:19Speaker 9: Haley? Right now? I bide my time until I get
- 56:24Speaker 9: to go back to the UK.
- 56:26Speaker 4: So that's where your boyfriend is, And that's where your
- 56:29Speaker 4: boyfriend is. You want to you want to get back
- 56:31Speaker 4: to him?
- 56:33Speaker 6: I do, yes, do you?
- 56:34Speaker 1: Haley? You can go. You can go to the UK, Haley.
- 56:36Speaker 1: You just have to quarantine for two weeks on your own.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:40Speaker 9: Yeah, Well we're doing a visa right now.
- 56:43Speaker 1: So we're working on that. Oh I see and and
- 56:46Speaker 1: and are you Are you content to be a transplant
- 56:50Speaker 1: and live there full time with your with your boyfriend?
- 56:53Speaker 9: Yeah, I'd love to be transplanted into that country, so
- 56:56Speaker 9: stick me there.
- 56:57Speaker 2: I do love the UK, we love it.
- 57:00Speaker 1: We love it too. I'm gonna be uh Yeah, I'm
- 57:02Speaker 1: gonna be transplanting there myself.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Wait what, Yeah, you're gonna live in the UK.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Well, for part I'm I'm I'm dating a British woman
- 57:12Speaker 1: and part time I will be I'm spending I'm sure
- 57:15Speaker 1: a percentage of my life there. Don't get upset. I'm
- 57:19Speaker 1: not moving there, Donald, I'm just saying that if if,
- 57:21Speaker 1: if I'm if one Haley can attest if one is
- 57:24Speaker 1: in a relationship with an English person, you have to
- 57:27Speaker 1: You have to go there sometimes, and it's a delightful
- 57:29Speaker 1: place to go. Hey, listen, they could be from a
- 57:31Speaker 1: country you don't want to visit. Hailey and I are
- 57:35Speaker 1: lucky that it's a country we both.
- 57:36Speaker 9: Love and the food is not as bad as everyone
- 57:39Speaker 9: says it is.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Oh, the food's wonderful. You can give me. You can
- 57:42Speaker 1: give me mushy peas any day of the monk.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Oh, my god, Do I like the bangers in Mash?
- 57:46Speaker 2: You like the bangers in Mash?
- 57:47Speaker 9: I don't really eat pork, so I eat the mash
- 57:50Speaker 9: but not the bangers.
- 57:52Speaker 1: I don't understand why we don't have mushy peas in
- 57:54Speaker 1: this country.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Because it's as good.
- 57:58Speaker 1: You can you can use my pool when I'm gone.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Okay, cool, I'm going to miss you.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Haley doesn't have to hear about this. We can negotiate
- 58:07Speaker 1: that off.
- 58:07Speaker 2: That's all right, It's fine.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Just make sure all my rafts stay inflated.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Right anyway, Haley.
- 58:16Speaker 1: Do you have a question for us? Please? Please?
- 58:18Speaker 6: I do.
- 58:18Speaker 9: I had it on a piece of paper and I
- 58:20Speaker 9: left it in the other room.
- 58:21Speaker 2: But go get it you Okay.
- 58:25Speaker 9: So this is my fruit Cups, Yeah, which is probably
- 58:29Speaker 9: my favorite episode and I don't really know why. It's
- 58:32Speaker 9: just my favorite episode. It's the one I probably quote
- 58:35Speaker 9: the most, you know, like the day to users walks away, right,
- 58:40Speaker 9: and I love the music the first scene. Whenever I
- 58:43Speaker 9: used to where I worked, I want occasionally had to
- 58:46Speaker 9: take you know, a toilet paper roll or two from work,
- 58:49Speaker 9: and that occasionally be like or you steal stuff and
- 58:52Speaker 9: take it.
- 58:52Speaker 6: Back to work, take it back home.
- 58:56Speaker 9: But I feel like it's a pivotal point for all
- 58:59Speaker 9: the characters, like Doctor Cox gets back together with Jordan
- 59:03Speaker 9: JD and Turk kind of both realized that, you know,
- 59:06Speaker 9: Turk's relationship with Carla is really solidifying in this and
- 59:09Speaker 9: Elliot stands up to her dad. So I was kind
- 59:11Speaker 9: of wondering at what point in the series did you
- 59:14Speaker 9: think that your characters matured the most, or whether it
- 59:17Speaker 9: was how you played them or how it was written.
- 59:20Speaker 1: All right, Haley, look at Donald's smug face say the
- 59:24Speaker 1: same thing. Yes he No, he totally agrees with you.
- 59:27Speaker 1: He gave his thirty second summary and touched on everything
- 59:30Speaker 1: that you just said. And that's why he's got that
- 59:32Speaker 1: shit eating grin on his face.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Why did they call it a shit hitting grin?
- 59:39Speaker 6: You would be grinned when you were eating shit, would you.
- 59:41Speaker 4: I would not be smiling if I had to stick
- 59:43Speaker 4: doodoo in my mouth. That would be like it would
- 59:47Speaker 4: be like, it would be I get it. So it's
- 59:49Speaker 4: not really a shit eating grin. It's the face you
- 59:51Speaker 4: make where you're like, oh god, it's growth and it
- 59:55Speaker 4: looks like a smile, but really what it is?
- 59:57Speaker 1: Joel, Joel, are you looking that up for us? You
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: need to know the origin of shit eating grin?
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: What the anyway?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Anyway? So Donald, your best to answer that because you
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you've already spoken about this person.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I think this is the episode where now when we
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: were filming it, No, I did not realize this because
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: none of us knew where the show was going to
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: go at this point, but you're absolutely right. Every story
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: that's told in this in this episode goes to the end,
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: each and every one of these stories. Elliott standing up
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: to her dad, this becomes her on her own and
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: having to make decisions on her own, and we see
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: how crazy life is for her when she has to
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: do that, right, She's a hectic person. Jude, Carla, and
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Turk go on to get married and have kids. Cox
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: and Jordan gone to have more children. Every one of
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: these stores and JD's in limbo for the rest of
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: the season up until the last.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And for Limbo, that could be the name of the show.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Forever in Limbo, JD season up until season eight.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: You are forever in limbo. You are the dude who
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: has no idea. We don't know where you're gonna go.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: But at this point, if you were to look back
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: after doing the whole show, this would be the episode
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: my fruit Cups where you're like, this is where they
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: gave us a taste of what was to come.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I didn't see that, to be honest, I
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I was just kind of in more of a micro
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: viewing of it, laughing at the jokes. There was some.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: There's some ones like you keep saying thedet badeta you sir,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the mention of bajingo.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: There's some.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: There's a few classic sort of moments in here.
- 1:01:37Speaker 9: Beginning when she's like, you look pretty.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: Right, canal jes the pills go in your mind an Jesick.
- 1:01:45Speaker 9: And you're Neil Diamond impersonation.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Right to Jimmy with Jimmy.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: It's the first appearance of the Volvo. I believe Donald,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: do you know that? Don't don't ruin it, Haley, because
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you probably know Donald. Do you know the name of
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: the brown Volvo? No Malik.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: We named the Volvo Malik. I named my Vovo Malik.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Yeah wow, and then you named.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: You It might be my Vovo.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: I don't know why did you name your brown Vobo Malik.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I have a feeling. I have a feeling.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: I think named the car.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Because I definitely I definitely named my scooter Sasha.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Yeah, sure, you know.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Never I I post a picture of me on on
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: anything too wheelds, people are like, is that new, Sasha?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I like, post a picture of my motorcycle and like,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Sasha got an upgrade.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: There was that time that you brought me that scooter
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: and it was gray.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: He didn't even wear it. He didn't even drive it once.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: I did drive it around.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Honest, you're gonna lie it.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Oh? You named it Sasha Gray. Yeah, and then you
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: turn it back. Well, let's tell the audience the true
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: story of this, because it really it was hurtful to me.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: No, I had to. Here's the thing.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: No, be honest.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: I'm gonna be one hundred percent honest. So for my birthday,
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: Zach buys me a scooter, a great scooter. I named
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: her Sasha Gray.
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: That cousin of.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: Sure, sure, sure, let's keep let's keep Hailey innocent of
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: any absolutaughty knowledge, all right, guess right. And the problem
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: with it was, though, is that you had to have
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: a motorcycle license to drive it. It wasn't one of
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: those things where you could just it wasn't a scooter
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: that was slow enough that you could ride around on
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: it and not have to have a license. So if
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: I would have got pulled over, they automatically would have
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: been like, let me see your license. I'd be like,
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: I don't have a license, and then they confiscate Sasha Gray.
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: And then I never see her again.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: All right now, from my point of view, Haley, imagine
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you're my really good friend and it's a big birthday.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I think it was a meaningful, important birthday, and I
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: was like, I want to do some than like baller
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: for you. I'm gonna like, I know what I'm gonna do.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna ring your doorbell, Hailey, and when you come outside,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: there's gonna be a brand new, beautiful, expensive, shiny scooter
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: there for you.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: It was one of the best birthday presents.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: And then and then and then for years and years
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: and years, I'd be like, do you ever use the
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: good And he'd be like, oh, my motorcycle license, my
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: motor And I'd be like, oh, okay, well you're gonna
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: get that, right, you can get that. Just go take
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the test real quick. And he'd be like, oh, yeh yeah,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: the battery is dead now. I yeah. There was always
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: a reason. There was always a real.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: That scooter around my neighborhood quite a few times.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Bullshit, Hailey, you know what. I finally did you want
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: to go get Casey? I reclaimed that ship, Hailey. I
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: was like, I'm taking her.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Back, requote that ship. That ship was straight up out
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: of a jay Z saw.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I rolled up. I rolled up and took it
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: back out of protest.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: They repold your vehicle. Everything was all good just a
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: week ago. That's what you did. You recode the vehicle.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I took Sasha Gray away from you.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: You did, and it hurt my feelings.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I understand. Anyway, Sorry, we had to air that
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: in front of you, Hayley. Do you have another question
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: for Donald Faison or Donald or I guess.
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: I have a funny story that relates to Zach what
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: you were talking about a few episodes ago with the
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: Temple of Doom. Yeah, I have a funny I can
- 1:05:21Speaker 9: ask my question or I can relate another silly story.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: We've answered story and if it's and if it's not funny,
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: well you can edit it out.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Yeah, well we edited out everything. No One.
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: So when I was.
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: Maybe about eight nine ten, I noticed that or ten
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: in between there, I don't really remember you were.
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: It was an.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Adolescent right about it got it ahead.
- 1:05:45Speaker 9: But I had noticed that there was something kind of
- 1:05:48Speaker 9: growing on my throat area, and I went up to
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: my dad, who's a doctor, and I was like, Dad,
- 1:05:53Speaker 9: look I have an Adam's apple. Because I was a child,
- 1:05:55Speaker 9: I didn't know that that was not a girl thing
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: to have, right.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: Well, that's not normal.
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: So we went to go get it checked out and
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: I had to get something removed that was growing on
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: my vocal cords, and it was as a child, surgery
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: is kind of scary. So after we had done the
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: surgery and I was staying overnight, my dad was like, oh,
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: we have some movies that are at the hospital here,
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: we'll watch this one. It was Indiana Jones Temple of Doo.
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: And right when it gets to the part, you know,
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: and he's ripping.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Out the heart, shocked.
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: I just immediately started bawling and yeah, that's exactly when
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: mom came the next day. He's like, yeah, she had
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: this really bad reaction to the movie. And she's like, well,
- 1:06:35Speaker 9: of course she did.
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: They were ripping out somebody's heart.
- 1:06:39Speaker 9: And I don't think I watched it for at least
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: another ten years. And then I watched it again and
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: I was like, this isn't that bad.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: I know, but Haley, I know, but Haley, Haley and
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I were scarred by this film. Our parents made bad choices.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: How can you be upset at that movie?
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: I had a whole Birthday an Indiana Jones later, not
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: Temple of Doom, the first one mainly grait is it
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: a lost Arks?
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Just as scary when they opened The Ark of the
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: Covenant and it makes the dude's face melt.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: No, I had no problem with that. The something about
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: there was something about there's a.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: Man that screams like a blood curdling scream.
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: He's like.
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: Screams like that. I backed up from the mic. You're welcome,
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: You're welcome, You welcome, America, America, UK, Germany, Italy, Australia,
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: you listen, Australia, You're welcome.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Another one, another one, listen. A lot of people are asking.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: I don't mean to cut you up, but a lot
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: of people are asking me, and this is I feel
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: we need to explain this.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: We didn't make up another one.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I didn't. I just still thought everyone would
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: know the pop culture thing of another.
- 1:07:48Speaker 9: No.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: DJ Khaled, Yes, DJ Khalid, Khalid Khalid? Isn't it college depends?
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: You know?
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Some people say Khalid, some people say cold.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Damn, you're a DJ. What is it? Well, there's there's Khalid,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the artists who may talk. And then I thought it
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: was DJ Khalid with it more.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Like Kalid too, Yeah, okay, J Khalid.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: DJ Khaled when he drops his latest tracks, he will
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: in the spirit of Puffy back in the day goingheahead ahead.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Or can't stop, won't stop?
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Yeah. His his thing is another one like here's another
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: hit song for you guys.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: He has another one? Is that? And then there's major
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: key and then there's wa the best.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Major key means what if the song isn't a major key.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: I don't know what major key is. That's a question
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: to ask h scrubs wiki.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Now we're gonna go to Now we're gonna go to
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: no imagine, imagine, we have, we have, we have, asked
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: DJ Khaled, and now we're gonna go to ask DJ Khaled.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: By major key.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Another one, Joel, did you ever find out what hit
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: eating grin was about?
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a couple of story you want to hear.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Yeah please sure?
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: So my favorite one comes from rb Smith. He's from
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: the UCSD Astrophysics program, and this is off with the
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: San Diego reader dot com. He says the original form
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: of this phrase was grinning like a possum eating shit,
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: which was occasionally euphemized to grinning like a possum eating
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: pumpkin seeds. To those of us fortunate enough to have
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: observed this, teeth together, lips apart, smile on the face
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: of the aforementioned arestupio munching on the aforementioned pachological delicacy.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: He's smart.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: The expression conjures up a very explicit and not infrequently
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: very apropro image. So that's part of it.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Did he say scatological delicacy? Yes, those are not two
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: words I've ever heard together.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: It was not fun to say.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: That's the name on my band. I So, so it's
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: referring to an animal who's eating shit and has a
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: big smile on his face because the animal likes eating shit.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Why, it's not really shit, it's actually pumpkin No.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: No, no, no, that's like a clean version. Yeah. When
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: if you're saying it in front of a kid, you're like, oh,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: he's like you're eating.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Pumpkins. He's looking at pumpkin seed eating grin on his face.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna start saying pumpkin seed eating grin instead
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: of shit eating grin. Haley, we like you so much.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: We're gonna end with one more question from.
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: You, all right, if so I don't know if you
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: guys remember, because I know you guys have been saying
- 1:10:22Speaker 9: that you don't remember some of the episodes. But if
- 1:10:25Speaker 9: there was one line that another character had that you
- 1:10:28Speaker 9: wish you could have had to say, what do you remember?
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Which one?
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: It was?
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Good question?
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: Hmmmmmmmmmmm No. I like in your indo, in your that's.
- 1:10:46Speaker 9: I say that a lot as well.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: I say that a lot.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I think i'd take sometimes when I'm banging this mattress,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I I pretend I'm banging that one.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Todd said that.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Todd says, I also like Nil's line. My the Good
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Lord didn't bless my wife with other pointer pointer and
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: thumb pinky nie French nine French is very popular, you
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: know for.
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: Kid you know, uh, I want to be the one
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: inside of you.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: I thought that was very funny too, But I said
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: that you.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Said that, so you didn't really answer, You're the only
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: man who's ever been inside of me.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: WHOA, I just took out his appendix.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: There's no need to clarify, Okay, Sorry, Hayley, thank you
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: so much for coming on. Good luck getting to be
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: with your your fella in the in the United Kingdom.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Perhaps perhaps I'll see you over there after we've both
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: the quarantined.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: And most likely you won't.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Give me. This is called pleasantries. Donald, I will wave
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: to you. I will keep on the train.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: It's not a train, it's called the tube.
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: There are trains.
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: The Tube is only in London.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Yeah, Donald, don't listen, don't.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Isn't the UK.
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: I'm in Newcastle. So I'm in like the north north
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: of London.
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: Oh oh sweet Ritzy, that's not.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: London. Is London? Is the hood? If you ask me.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Love tonight on Donald talks about different neighborhoods of London.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: All right, bye, Hailey, thank you so much, Thank you
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: so much.
- 1:12:30Speaker 9: Thank you guys.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Take care Hailey.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: Hi, I want to saw Lisa Marie Presley in London really, yeah,
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: like at a show.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: She did a show. It was like my buddy was
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: like Lisa Marie Presley's performing.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: First of all, I'm glad we're all finally alone now,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: because I feel like we had to be great for
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Heather and then we had to host Hailey, who was delightful.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: But sometimes you just want to just curl up on
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: the couch with your friends and just shoot ship. You know. No,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I totally agree yeah, so let's just let's relax. I'm
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: gonna on the top button of my pants and just
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna kick my shoes off. Let's pack a bowl.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Unlet's just fucking relax now. No more house guests, no
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: more visitors. Okay, just let's get feedle on the couch
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: and watch alone.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: Now Donald Show ladies in general.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, it's not we got more to do.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Don't Krystal Waters back on Krista Miller's back looking gorgeous
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and pregnant and pregnant?
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Is that William in her belly?
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: That must be will in her belly?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Yes, that's amazing.
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: When I told Casey that, she was like, holy cow,
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: it was this was that long ago? Because William is
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: a what is he a senior in high school?
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: Now school?
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: And he dunked, He can dunk, and.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: He plays basketball and he got the game.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys are seeing him in this episode in
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: uter row and now he dunks.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: If you want to see him do it, you can
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: go to Bill Lawrence's.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Yeah Bill Lawrence on him. On Bill Lawrence's V Doozer
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: v Doozer's Instagram, you can see his son dunk. How
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: about at ten thirteen when I go I told her
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: you smoked the angel.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that was improved. That wasn't something really, that was improvd.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: I remember it was something else originally, and uh, that
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: was funny.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: I remember laughing so hard when you said that too,
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: And I remember thinking, that'll never make this Suffence, that'll
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: never make the show.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Because we weren't allowed to talk about weed back then.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: It was so scandalous. Now, I want to know you
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: something you're you're I read on scrubs Wiki that your
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Brady Bunch trivia here is wrong.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: I don't know nothing about I listen. I don't know
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: nothing about the Brady Bunch in the first place, so
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: I don't.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Okay, well, tur Turk, Turk is quite wrong here, and
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: I'll tell you why.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: I can't back it up, though, because I don't know
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: shit about the Brady Bunch.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I'm just telling you so you know if it ever
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: comes up again in your life. When Turk tries to
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: prove his knowledge of the Brady Bunch by describing a
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: exactly which episode JD is referring to, he's incorrect. He
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: claims the episode quote Marcia gets creamed end quote was
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: in by the way you could never name a show
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: that today was in seasons was in season five, episode three,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: while it was actually episode seven that season. So somebody
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: fucked up.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: We can blame who wrote j Who wrote this?
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Janey, you fucked up? Okay, and you're a Northwestern grad.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I expected more from you.
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: I really got a hand it to Christoph in this episode,
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: you know, making fun of herself and you know, making
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: fun of the fact that she's pregnant and being so vulnerable.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: She did such a great job. And the scene in
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: the bathroom where she's crying, you.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Know, and uh, it felt very raw and real.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it did, you know. And I remember when my
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: wife was pregnant and there were days where she didn't
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: necessarily feel like, you know, she was the sexiest person
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: on the planet. And I remember just thinking, while she's
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: so beautiful, she's so beautiful, and I feel like that's
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: what Cox was going through in this episode, you know,
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: regardless of him dating have the lockleiest character and everything
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: like that. There's something special about when you see somebody
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: who you love and they're carrying your baby inside of
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: them that you just think that the most beautiful human
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: on the planet. Like I just remember looking at Casey
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: and being like, holy shit, she's so beautiful. And she'd
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: be like, I got three chins, and I'd be like,
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: I don't give a shit, you could have twenty chins.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: You look so beautiful. I love all three of them, right,
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: you know what I mean?
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Well, I bet you know christ is a really good actress.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: But I also bet that you know, she was legit pregnant,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: and I'm sure that she could call upon those feelings
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: when she's sitting on the bathroom floor feeling, you know,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: undesired by doctor Cox. I thought that was a really
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: nice scene between the two of them.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was a good fake out too.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that was clever how they had to do that.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: So Johnny c grabs two things of whiskey. Heather's on
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: the couch. By the time he comes around, it's been
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: changed to Krista and she's like, you know, I can't
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: drink that, right. He's like, yeah, they're both for me.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, this We've said it a couple of times,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: but this is one of the greatest lines in Scrubs history.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: In this episode thirteen oh nine, I have one of
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: those French things that shoots water up my butt the
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: day the day to use.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Her whoever, I said, but day that was very clever.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Heather has a line that's funny when she disses Krista
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: and she says, anywhere anybody looks, they'll see thats fucked up.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: And how about when I scare you in the angulance
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: and you scream? That was funny.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: Yeah, and yeah, I was gonna say, dude, such a
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: good scene.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Man. That's one of those moments.
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: You know, you we've worked together for a really long time,
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: and you have and I've seen I feel like I've
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: seen most of your tricks. You've developed some new tricks
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: that I haven't seen in the last ten years because
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: you've gone on to work on other things and everything
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: like that. But this is one of those Well, this
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: is one of the first times where we had done
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: a season of Scrubs together already and I hadn't seen
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: you play this this this side before where it was
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: like you were you were thinking, you're really thinking about
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: it in the scene and it disturbs you, but it
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: doesn't disturb you to where you're like kind of fucked
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: up about it. But it's like, holy shit, life's changing
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: for us. And I had never seen you play that before.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: And I remember watching this because I watched.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: It like two two hours ago and thinking, if I
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: remember correctly, I remember Zach not knowing how he wanted
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: to play this scene, and we worked on this on
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: his side for a bit and this is what he
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: came up with and it works so well, dude, it works.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: It's like it's it's one.
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: Of those moments where you know you're in awe of
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: the moment as an actor, but you're also you want
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: to keep it grounded, like so she said, she said,
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: you said we no, she said we you know.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: What I mean.
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: And that could have been played so many other ways.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: It could have been underplayed, but you played it very thoughtfully,
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: and I thought that was so amazing.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you for saying that. You know, it's
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: on this show, it was always you and I so
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: easily went into the silly stuff, right because that's just
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: that's who we are and that came naturally to us.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: But then there's always these great moments in the scene.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Is one of them where we have this sort of
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: heart to heart where we would have to shift our
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: brains a bit and be like no, no, no, go out
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: of broad silliness and like drop in and be just
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: totally real and straight with one another. And I think
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: that's one of the things that made this show special
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: to a lot of people because because it had it
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: had the ability to do that, It had the ability
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: to drop in and be real.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and and and.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: That's I mean, obviously that's the reason why we ran
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: for so long. But that's such a special thing man
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: to to for me now, to go back and look
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: at the things that we did in our past and
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: the things that you know, it's a lot like what
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: this episode is about, you know, just to look at,
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: you know, moments that we had back in the day
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: and really appreciating them. You know, I miss the camaraderie
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: that we had. I don't think i'll ever in my
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: life experience what we experienced when we were making this
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: show again. And you know, you search for it and
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: you try to create it with other people and sometimes
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: you even fake it.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: But you know, we were also young, but we were
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: also young. And I mean, first of all, yeah, of course,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: nine year runs on a show with great people is
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: not something that happens multiple times in a lifetime necessarily,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: but also we were young and so wide eyed and
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: so so excited and really savoring it. I think, And
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: now you know, you have a family, you know, we
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: all have grown up, we've got other things going on.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I don't even know that we would. I don't even
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: know if it's recreatable in a new environment, you know
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I I I can't imagine myself spend like I
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: can't imagine myself spending the amount of time that we've
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: spent together with someone else, now, you know, other than
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: my wife.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: And the hours too, man. I also don't want to
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: work that hard.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: I don't mind working those hours.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I love I love working. I love working. But when
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: I look at this show and how much how we were,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: we were just non existent.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: Well, you worked a lot about there were times where
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: you just didn't do, but.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: I just didn't leave. There were times where I thought
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: about sleeping in that fucking hospital.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: Yeah no, not me, But.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I never did listen. The rooftop that ends this show.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Wasn't it downtown La?
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: I don't know. I would like to believe that it was.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: It could have been Joe's.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: No it wasn't. It was a cold, a fancy rooftop,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: and I believe it we went down town l A
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: for it, and then but Scrubbs Wiki is saying that
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: it was at U c l A. And I think
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: it might be wrong. And they're saying it's the.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: Roof of give and we gonna get this too freaking funkos.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Man, No, listen, he deserves funkos for the services he's
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: already performed.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: They're given us false. False, It's false though, man. That
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: definitely where at U c l A was that.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: He says old Wiki or it's not just him, him
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: and his thousand minions, say Cole Coble commons, but that
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: would be Westwood and that's not Westwood. In the end
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: of the show, right.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: Dan, you want to ask Bill? Do you think Bill
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: would remember Bill?
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Now, let's ask DJ Collin DJ Khaled at the end
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: of this episode, what what building are we on? I
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: believe it was downtown. Some are saying it's a U
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: c l A property, which is Westwood? Uh, what are
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: your thoughts on this?
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: Zach may your key? I got nothing.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I don't. I really honestly don't even have a DJ
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Khalid impersonation in my repertoire.
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: If you watch Scrubs on Hulu, they play a DJ
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: Khalid commercial about him brush somebody brushing their teeth and
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: DJ Khaled's like circular emotions.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: Do another one? What if I have another one?
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: What if I do Dj Khalid? But as a as
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: a as a impersonation that I'm good at. So you
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: just have to you the audience will just have to
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: pretend this is how he talks. Go ahead, he talks
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: like Aaron Neville.
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: Another I don't remember where you got shot that scene,
- 1:23:44Speaker 8: but I don't think it was you don't see it
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: was downtown Hella.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: That's how DJ Khaled talks. Some one liken.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: Oh oh man, right now?
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: Did Aaron Nevill die?
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: I don't know. But he's rolling over?
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Why is he rolling over his grave? He's alive?
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: Well that's something Charles Barkley says.
- 1:24:11Speaker 9: Ok.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: DJ Khaled is Aaron Neville dead? No, he's very much alive.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: We should probably end this show.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: Great show listeners, We love you. Why is the janitor
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: stealing a computer?
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: He goes the whole the whole episode. He's trying to
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: figure out who's stealing all.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Of these I think the reveal is that he's the
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: one stealing everything out of the hospital.
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: Right well, no, he didn't steal the drugs and he
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: definitely didn't steal the pudding pops because we did the pudding.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Because we did right. Hey, guys, we had a great
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: time with you today.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: Yes, sorry for anything that went.
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: We want to thank Kava Locklear for being on the show.
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: I want to thank Joel and Daniel.
