June 25 – Stir Up the Gift of God
In today’s episode, Pastor Cory Barnes shares a devotion from 2 Timothy 1:6, where Paul encourages his spiritual son Timothy to “stir up the gift of God” that had been imparted to him. Writing from prison near the end of his life, Paul urges Timothy not to allow the pressures, disappointments, or responsibilities of ministry to extinguish the passion and calling God had placed within him.
