- 0:00Speaker 1: He's mister New York Mark Simone on wr Hey, we'll
- 0:06Speaker 1: take some calls. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 0:09Speaker 1: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 0:13Speaker 1: zero seven ten. Let's go to Peter in Jersey City. Peter,
- 0:17Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I'm good, Mark, thanks for taking the call. Just two things.
- 0:23Speaker 2: First of all, go back to the beginning. And we
- 0:27Speaker 2: all know that President Trump exaggeration. You know he always
- 0:32Speaker 2: does that. But they did not finish what they started.
- 0:36Speaker 1: What are we talking about. Give us a clue as
- 0:38Speaker 1: to what you're talking to?
- 0:39Speaker 3: War?
- 0:39Speaker 1: The war, the war, Well, let's not finish yet.
- 0:41Speaker 2: It did not finish it.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I know it's not finish yet. It's in the middle.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Well, but the dealing with disease minds.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yes, we know that. I think the idea here is
- 0:52Speaker 1: he'd like to negotiate a settlement and you could finish it.
- 0:56Speaker 1: You could just go wipe everybody out. That's not tough
- 0:59Speaker 1: for our military to do. I think he wants to
- 1:01Speaker 1: get a settlement, make a deal, and not have to
- 1:04Speaker 1: kill everybody and anybody and wipe everything out. Also, you
- 1:08Speaker 1: got to remember, you could take out all their oil facilities.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You could take out carg Island. You could take out everything,
- 1:13Speaker 1: but then it'll be years before they can produce oil again,
- 1:16Speaker 1: So that would keep the price of oil high for
- 1:18Speaker 1: a long time. So they'd like to do this the nicest,
- 1:21Speaker 1: easiest way. But if you have to, you can go
- 1:24Speaker 1: back in. You could wipe out everybody. You could finish
- 1:26Speaker 1: the job whenever you want. You could finish it, but
- 1:29Speaker 1: I think you'd rather do it through a deal. Let's
- 1:31Speaker 1: go to Jim in New Jersey. Jim, how you doing?
- 1:35Speaker 3: Mark? I was listening to two morons on TV last night,
- 1:38Speaker 3: Stephen A. Smith and Chris Cuomo, and Stephen A. Smith
- 1:42Speaker 3: was talking about how Trump cost the Knicks the game
- 1:44Speaker 3: and he's going to cost him the series and how
- 1:47Speaker 3: those poor people couldn't have their block party because the
- 1:50Speaker 3: Knicks having won in the titles is nineteen seventy three
- 1:53Speaker 3: when they won in seven games with my man Will
- 1:56Speaker 3: Clyde Fraser was Steven Smith in nineteen seventy three Knicks
- 2:00Speaker 3: one in five games in Los Angeles. Because I remember
- 2:03Speaker 3: watching the game till one in the morning, Mark. It
- 2:05Speaker 3: was Jill Russell and Keith Jackson doing the game on ABC.
- 2:09Speaker 3: The game started ten o'clock our time. So for all
- 2:12Speaker 3: the money, this clown makes Mark Stephen A. Smith the
- 2:15Speaker 3: gay nineteen seventy three, the Knicks won in five games,
- 2:18Speaker 3: not seven.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Well you can make me. Stephen A. Smith A nice guy,
- 2:24Speaker 1: not too bright. He's not the brightest guy in the world.
- 2:26Speaker 1: But he's colorful. He's got a lot of energy, he's animated.
- 2:30Speaker 1: He's good on TV. You know, he's one of those
- 2:33Speaker 1: guys you just want to keep watching. He's got a
- 2:35Speaker 1: lot of personality.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I think he got mixed up Mark, the Knicks won
- 2:38Speaker 4: it in seventy I understand that's that doesn't mean every
- 2:42Speaker 4: if you talk for ten million hours on the air,
- 2:44Speaker 4: you're going to make a mistake somewhere in there.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well I've done it. Everybody's done it. Everybody's done that. Yeah. No,
- 2:51Speaker 1: every so often you say something that you got your
- 2:53Speaker 1: fact wrong or so it happens. But again, he's a
- 2:57Speaker 1: he's a great personality, Steven A. Smith, but not the
- 3:01Speaker 1: brightest guy in the world. Well, let's go to Kevin
- 3:04Speaker 1: in New Jersey. Kevin, how you doing? Are you good?
- 3:10Speaker 5: There's a miss more. There's a game show that comes
- 3:14Speaker 5: on at night. There's six celebrities and what's nice about
- 3:18Speaker 5: it when when a question comes.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Are you're talking about that at midnight on site channel two CBS. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 3:25Speaker 1: that's the new Byron Allen Show.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Yeah. And thing I like about it is that when
- 3:31Speaker 5: I asked a question, older celebrities give out nice jokes
- 3:35Speaker 5: and they're very smart. I'll tell you something. If you
- 3:38Speaker 5: could have one of those celebrities on your show, it'll
- 3:42Speaker 5: be very good, very good.
- 3:44Speaker 1: All right, Well, maybe maybe you should leave the programming
- 3:47Speaker 1: to us.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Right, I like how you work.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. You didn't notice it's
- 3:55Speaker 1: a good show. It's a very good show. Byron Allen
- 3:57Speaker 1: produces it. You didn't notice it. They just out and
- 3:59Speaker 1: out copied Hollywood Squares.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Well, no, not real. I know that they're I know
- 4:06Speaker 5: that they're.
- 4:08Speaker 1: All right now, it's fascinating. Can get away with that?
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's it's it's a cheap version of Hollywood Squares Byron
- 4:13Speaker 1: Allen just copied Hollywood Squares and the same thing. Although
- 4:18Speaker 1: it's cheaper, it's a much cheaper version. Instead of nine celebrities,
- 4:21Speaker 1: it's six celebrities. Instead of a huge, huge audience, it's
- 4:24Speaker 1: a small audience. And it's the same it's Hollywood Squares.
- 4:28Speaker 1: They ask a question and then first the celebrity gives
- 4:32Speaker 1: a very funny answer that the writers gave him, and
- 4:35Speaker 1: then after everybody laughs and he's done, then he gives
- 4:37Speaker 1: a real answer. It's Hollywood Squares, but it's very well done.
- 4:40Speaker 1: It's on UH CBS instead of Colbert, they've replaced it
- 4:44Speaker 1: with two Byron Allen shows. He has the whole hour.
- 4:47Speaker 1: First half hour is UH Comics Unleashed. It's a bunch
- 4:52Speaker 1: of commit It's just like Guttfeld. It's four comedians and
- 4:55Speaker 1: chairs and they're discussing topics. The only difference is no politics,
- 4:59Speaker 1: no politics. Uh. And then the second half hour is
- 5:02Speaker 1: the game show. That's a total copy of Hollywood Squares,
- 5:05Speaker 1: but it's very good. Let's go to John and Queen's John.
- 5:08Speaker 1: How you doing?
- 5:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I'd like to ask you about that. The basketball game.
- 5:14Speaker 6: I don't think we spare one that. I don't know
- 5:18Speaker 6: what his name. The tall guy on.
- 5:20Speaker 1: The on Texas the Spurs, what's his name wimbley? Yeah?
- 5:26Speaker 6: Yeah, the tour guy pushed what's his name? On the fraud?
- 5:30Speaker 6: I don't think that's spare Well.
- 5:32Speaker 1: It's basketball, you know, I mean, anything can happen. Now,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you're not the only one. Even the coaches complaining about
- 5:38Speaker 1: the referees. Uh, yeah, that that gets seven foot four guy.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I mean sometimes he jumps up there and he's above
- 5:45Speaker 1: the basket. He just drops it into the basket. But
- 5:47Speaker 1: he did. There was some pushing and shoving, and they're
- 5:50Speaker 1: complaining about their refs.
- 5:51Speaker 7: Maybe we fouled that many times, but they fouled too,
- 5:55Speaker 7: and it's not shown at the end of the day
- 5:57Speaker 7: on this box score.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Yeah. So a lot of people think what went wrong
- 6:03Speaker 1: Monday night wasn't Trump being there. Maybe it was Mam
- 6:06Speaker 1: Donnie being there, but no, it was the referees. They
- 6:09Speaker 1: kept calling fouls on the Knicks, but not on the Spurs.
- 6:12Speaker 7: I never thought I'd be in the NBA Finals and
- 6:17Speaker 7: see a team get twenty four free throw attempts in
- 6:23Speaker 7: the second half to none of the team's eight. There
- 6:26Speaker 7: were opportunities for fouls to be called.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good point. Twenty four free throws. Yeah, okay,
- 6:34Speaker 1: well that can change the outcome of a game. That's
- 6:37Speaker 1: I think what really happened there. Hey, when we come back,
- 6:40Speaker 1: we'll talk to the brilliant columnist Liz Peak. Lots of
- 6:43Speaker 1: stuff they'll talk to her about next. And don't forget,
- 6:45Speaker 1: we'll get to Scott Pelly, the most pompous man ever,
- 6:50Speaker 1: coming up a little later on, But first let's get
- 6:53Speaker 1: all the latest news on seven to ten wor
