Fugitive Returns to Face Murder Charges | Columbus News
After a four-year manhunt that took them from Ohio to Somalia, U.S. Marshals have brought back fugitive Hanut Abdulle to face murder charges in the 2021 killing of Bryce Persang. The suspect, who fled with accomplice Tahir Said shortly after the shooting, was finally captured in May and is now back in Columbus. The victim’s mother praised law enforcement for their persistence and compassion, as the case finally moves toward justice after nine months of investigation.
