- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry Katie and Josh one hundred and my poor daughter
- 0:05Speaker 1: went to the pool with a bunch of her friends
- 0:06Speaker 1: last week and they were at the pool for like
- 0:08Speaker 1: four hours, and bless her heart, she didn't reapply the sunscreen.
- 0:13Speaker 2: To her face. So she is a little ratish right now.
- 0:18Speaker 3: And is it just on her face too? So the
- 0:20Speaker 3: rest of you, that's what that happened to me last week.
- 0:24Speaker 3: And it was just my chest which was completely sunburned,
- 0:28Speaker 3: and the rest of me was not.
- 0:30Speaker 4: And it started to like peel you know, it's bad.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Well, it's funny because her face is just completely fried.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And we were out to lunch yesterday for Father's Day
- 0:41Speaker 1: and her little cousins were there and stuff, and they
- 0:43Speaker 1: were coloring and playing with stickers. So she thought it
- 0:45Speaker 1: would be funny to take a bunch of their stickers
- 0:48Speaker 1: and put them all over her face.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Oh No, one of which was on the very tip
- 0:51Speaker 2: of her nose, which was like the worst part.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And then she peeled the sticker off, which peeled all
- 0:57Speaker 1: the skin right off of her nose, like shiny, glistening underskin,
- 1:02Speaker 1: you know, the javange. She immediately just started crying her
- 1:07Speaker 1: eyes out, and I felt so bad for her, and
- 1:10Speaker 1: Nicole's like digging through her purse trying to find vasiline
- 1:13Speaker 1: or chapstick or something to put on it, you know,
- 1:15Speaker 1: to kind.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Of soothe it, keep the air off of it.
- 1:18Speaker 1: That we had to have a talk about, Well, maybe
- 1:20Speaker 1: when you have a sunburn, you don't put stickers all
- 1:22Speaker 1: over your face.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Exactly, and make sure you're real applying that sunscreen. Like,
- 1:26Speaker 3: they get to a certain age where they have to
- 1:27Speaker 3: do it themselves because the mom does it the first time. Right,
- 1:31Speaker 3: you're going out to play, you're venturing out. Here's your
- 1:33Speaker 3: first layer. It's your job to keep up on that.
- 1:36Speaker 2: So yeah, you have to. That's a tough lesson, which
- 1:38Speaker 2: is also some good advice.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Right now, if you've got kiddos and they're on the TikTok,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I guess there's all these TikTok influencers right now that
- 1:45Speaker 1: are out promoting dangerous anti sunscreen messaging on TikTok right now,
- 1:52Speaker 1: they're saying that you should eat certain foods instead to
- 1:56Speaker 1: help the UV rays bounce off your skin in and
- 2:00Speaker 1: not absorb them. And then they are talking about how
- 2:03Speaker 1: sunscreens here containing harmful chemicals and you have they want
- 2:07Speaker 1: you to promote like more natural alternatives, like putting beef
- 2:11Speaker 1: tallow all over your body.
- 2:13Speaker 4: So then all the neighborhood dogs they're just gonna.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Do that, and all the old men who have smoking meats.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Smell get the wrong kind of attention if you put beef.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Tallow on you.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Don't put beef tallow all over your body and go
- 2:29Speaker 1: to the pool and get gen z.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I strongly encourage you to google tan mom. See where
- 2:37Speaker 3: your efforts are going to get you in twenty years,
- 2:39Speaker 3: Like see where you going out into the sun and
- 2:41Speaker 3: begging for that tana is gonna get you.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Spray tans are your friend.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, be careful, just don't don't believe TikTok.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Don't believe TikTok ever your skin.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Can you imagine getting in the pool too, If you
- 2:54Speaker 1: have beef tallow all over you, you look like an oil.
- 2:57Speaker 2: So you will the ex valdiz there.
- 3:00Speaker 4: The rule exactly, Baby dunckle swim by.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Shout out to all the dads out there.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Hopefully you had a killer Father's Day weekend?
- 3:14Speaker 4: Yeah, what did you do?
- 3:15Speaker 1: We went out to lazy Dog out in I guess
- 3:18Speaker 1: that would be Highland's Rancheria. Yeah, restaurant really good, had
- 3:21Speaker 1: a decent club sandwich and hung out with the fam
- 3:24Speaker 1: and uh, you know I collect those well collect I
- 3:28Speaker 1: picked up with that Cassio vintage watch that was silver,
- 3:31Speaker 1: the digital one from a dork.
- 3:34Speaker 2: My wife got me the gold one for Father's You
- 3:37Speaker 2: gotta have both.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yeah, let's tell you right now, it's hilarious rocking that
- 3:41Speaker 1: gold Cassio digital watch.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Because I wore it to lunch. I felt like, yea,
- 3:46Speaker 2: you need a gold chain to go with you.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I need a gold change chain and I need to
- 3:50Speaker 1: sell used cars or something like, Hey, I'm gonna get
- 3:52Speaker 1: you into this catilec today, babes.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I just want to know all the other dads who
- 3:56Speaker 3: noticed the watch and gave you props.
- 3:58Speaker 2: There was a lot to be Is that new? Yeah?
- 4:03Speaker 3: Come on, like, I know that watch game is a thing.
- 4:06Speaker 3: And we're talking like thousand dollars watches the hundreds at
- 4:09Speaker 3: that million dollars.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Man, I got a Cascio.
- 4:12Speaker 4: That's how you know. That's how you know you are
- 4:15Speaker 4: secure in your watch.
- 4:16Speaker 2: You know what I'm just I'm just having fun.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I just want to have fun and I want to
- 4:21Speaker 1: be silly and every time I look at that watch,
- 4:23Speaker 1: either one of them, I just smile a little bit and.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Other people smile.
- 4:27Speaker 1: It's so cheese and it's so eighties dad that I'm like,
- 4:31Speaker 1: this makes me so damn happy.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Immediately, I know, people walk up to you, even men
- 4:35Speaker 3: and women alike, and they have to say, my dad
- 4:37Speaker 3: had a watch.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Just like you know how many times somebody has said
- 4:40Speaker 2: that to me.
- 4:41Speaker 1: We went to comedy works the other night, you know,
- 4:43Speaker 1: and they make you put the phone in the bag
- 4:45Speaker 1: and they make you take your watch off. And the
- 4:47Speaker 1: guy looked at me and goes, hey, you need to
- 4:48Speaker 1: take your watch off. He goes, oh, whoa, never mind.
- 4:50Speaker 1: He's like, sorry, you got a nice fancy watch on,
- 4:55Speaker 1: and I help it. I go, no, sir, it's a cassio,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but I'll keep it on, thank you very much.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And Nicoles just sugar head, it is so good.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Is there a calculator on that thing?
- 5:05Speaker 1: No, but it's got the little you push the button,
- 5:07Speaker 1: the little light comes on and I gotta stop watch
- 5:09Speaker 1: on it cause you want to, you know, run track
- 5:11Speaker 1: or something.
- 5:12Speaker 2: What you got a race? Yeah, I gotta stop now.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Did you know I'm a.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Pretty classy dude, pretty classy dude. So anyway, I picked
- 5:20Speaker 1: up a new watch this weekend. You picked up something
- 5:22Speaker 1: a little bit better better, And I'm so happy and
- 5:25Speaker 1: so excited for you.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Now I want to tell you right now. I could
- 5:28Speaker 3: not wait to tell both of you about my new
- 5:31Speaker 3: ride because I was so excited about it. One I
- 5:34Speaker 3: got a good deal. Two it's a heck of a ride.
- 5:37Speaker 3: I mean, this thing is pretty great.
- 5:39Speaker 2: You want to do a quick backstory.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Pretty great.
- 5:41Speaker 2: You had your car, you paid it off.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Yeah, here's the thing. I paid off my car.
- 5:46Speaker 3: After seven years of paying this car, I finally paid
- 5:49Speaker 3: it off, and I was so excited about it. And then,
- 5:51Speaker 3: as cars do when you pay them off, six weeks later,
- 5:54Speaker 3: it took a total crap and.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Was absolutely worthless. And oh, it like broke my heart.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I know.
- 6:00Speaker 4: I told you guys, I'm been in like a low
- 6:02Speaker 4: key depression.
- 6:03Speaker 2: You were devastated, y like no other.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yes, well, because again, like you take your car away
- 6:09Speaker 3: and it just is immediately like just you're aware of
- 6:13Speaker 3: how like a step back you are.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You can't go anywhere, you can't do anything. She was
- 6:18Speaker 1: hopping in with Josh on you. It was so annoying,
- 6:21Speaker 1: my friend.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Was letting me use her vehicle for a minute. It
- 6:24Speaker 4: was annoying.
- 6:24Speaker 3: No, I can say like, I completely agree, like when
- 6:27Speaker 3: you are at the mercy of other people when it
- 6:29Speaker 3: comes to.
- 6:30Speaker 4: A vehicle, like, it's tough. It's tough on everyone evolved.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The best part of my week is we're going to
- 6:35Speaker 1: go do one of our pizza drops. Yeah, listeners, and
- 6:37Speaker 1: Katie's like, I'm writing with you, Jar and I just
- 6:39Speaker 1: to go no.
- 6:39Speaker 4: No, you're not.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I'll see you there.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Not only that, You're like, no, I don't want to hear.
- 6:44Speaker 2: You talk the whole Time's exactly what I said.
- 6:46Speaker 1: It's like, you will not shut up for forty five
- 6:48Speaker 1: minutes store location.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I'm not writing.
- 6:49Speaker 4: You said. All you're gonna do is and you did
- 6:52Speaker 4: the hand.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I can't do it.
- 6:55Speaker 4: That's all you're going to do. And I was like,
- 6:57Speaker 4: that's fair.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Immediately I go off up to me Jos.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Josh is so much nicer. Josh was like, yeah, we'll talk, Josh.
- 7:05Speaker 1: It's well documented on this show that Josh cannot say
- 7:08Speaker 1: no anything.
- 7:09Speaker 2: He cannot say no.
- 7:10Speaker 4: So I appreciate that about you.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Well, of course you do. And Jeremy guess what she
- 7:15Speaker 2: talked the whole time time. I don't want to run
- 7:18Speaker 2: into oncoming traffics.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I did this for everybody, Okay, but you got a
- 7:22Speaker 1: call I did, and again it's just such.
- 7:24Speaker 3: A nice for you day experience and just the whole
- 7:27Speaker 3: process of it.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Because I was looking around.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I didn't I didn't want to put myself in something
- 7:33Speaker 3: that in a couple months and I'm having to deal
- 7:35Speaker 3: with the same thing.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Right, So I got a heck of a deal.
- 7:39Speaker 3: It's an older ride, which I'm fine with because here's
- 7:42Speaker 3: the thing is, I got it from a guy who
- 7:45Speaker 3: lived up in the mountains. Actually his daughter was when
- 7:48Speaker 3: he gave it to me. He has passed away. But
- 7:51Speaker 3: so that's kind of how Noana haunted. But that's kind
- 7:53Speaker 3: of how I got the vehicle, right. It was an
- 7:55Speaker 3: old man who lived in the mountains and all he
- 7:58Speaker 3: did was drive.
- 7:59Speaker 2: To church the way did do it?
- 8:00Speaker 5: This car, which is seen the nineteen hundred's mind nineteen hundred,
- 8:05Speaker 5: it's a nineteen hundreds ride, is completely pristine. Yeah, watch
- 8:12Speaker 5: out here, she comes all four cylinders.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah, what could go wrong? What could go wrong?
- 8:20Speaker 1: No, but it hasn't had an oil change since ninety four.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It has been kept up the entire Like this man
- 8:27Speaker 3: has a log of every oil change he's gotten.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I love what I do entire he's ever rotated.
- 8:34Speaker 3: This man has kept a log of everything he's done with.
- 8:37Speaker 2: That's a good car.
- 8:38Speaker 4: It is a fabulous.
- 8:40Speaker 2: That's a good that's a good sign.
- 8:41Speaker 3: It only has thirty eight thousand miles from the nineteen hundreds.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Did I even manage.
- 8:49Speaker 2: What I know? Tell me it's a pet cruiser.
- 8:55Speaker 4: No, it's not a b easy cruiser.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Okay, you don't have to say what.
- 8:57Speaker 4: No, I'm not going to say what it is, but
- 8:59Speaker 4: I am just like it has.
- 9:01Speaker 2: The crank win corvette actually, and it does not.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Even have cruise control.
- 9:06Speaker 2: It's that old Oh my god.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Doesn't even tell me.
- 9:09Speaker 3: You know, when you look at the gas meter and
- 9:11Speaker 3: it tells you what side the gas tanks on with
- 9:14Speaker 3: that little arrow, I didn't even have that.
- 9:17Speaker 2: You don't need that.
- 9:18Speaker 4: I love it. I love everything about it. It's my
- 9:21Speaker 4: favorite thing. It is so minimal, and.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I tell you what there is now the government can
- 9:26Speaker 1: track you as easily.
- 9:26Speaker 3: There's just some pressure being take off when not everything's
- 9:29Speaker 3: digital when you get into it, like I'm not kidding.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Everywhere I look, it's digital at work on my phone
- 9:36Speaker 4: at home. So like the fact that this is just
- 9:39Speaker 4: back down to the base the basics that I am
- 9:43Speaker 4: loving it.
- 9:44Speaker 2: So your left arm is going to be so you.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Have no idea.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You just see yourself rolling up to a taco bell
- 9:52Speaker 1: and being like, hold on, let me roll down my window.
- 9:55Speaker 4: You have a cup holder, no cup holders. It's amazing.
- 10:03Speaker 4: I love it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I thought for sure the video I saw on our Instagram, yeah,
- 10:08Speaker 1: Jeremy Katy Josh on Instagram of somebody out at coors
- 10:11Speaker 1: Field over the weekend, I was like, oh, Josh is
- 10:13Speaker 1: out there?
- 10:13Speaker 2: How it was you?
- 10:16Speaker 3: You?
- 10:16Speaker 4: The Rockies? I love the Rockies course field. You know,
- 10:21Speaker 4: it's funny.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It was Father's Day, so it was an absolutely packed field,
- 10:25Speaker 3: Like corse Field was so busy yesterday, and it was
- 10:29Speaker 3: nice to see cors.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Field like that.
- 10:31Speaker 3: You know.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it was your video, it really was.
- 10:34Speaker 4: And so I had such a good time.
- 10:36Speaker 3: I mean, the Rockies did lose, but they had a
- 10:38Speaker 3: nice little rally at the end where you know, they
- 10:40Speaker 3: got people excited, looked like they might have a little
- 10:42Speaker 3: bit of a comeback.
- 10:44Speaker 4: So it was a great day out at the ballpark.
- 10:46Speaker 4: It was perfect weather.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I wanted to tell you a nice little fun win
- 10:52Speaker 3: I found out at Corsefield was the popcorn bucket. There
- 10:56Speaker 3: is a popcorn bucket that you can buy for fourteen
- 10:59Speaker 3: dollars out there, and you can bring it back in
- 11:01Speaker 3: for every game and get it refilled for free.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Nu huh.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Yes. And not only do you get it refilled for free,
- 11:07Speaker 4: they give you a big long bag of popcorn. It's
- 11:10Speaker 4: like this big uh huh, and they just hand it
- 11:12Speaker 4: to you.
- 11:13Speaker 3: So the bucket, you can fill it like three times
- 11:16Speaker 3: while you're sitting out at the game.
- 11:17Speaker 2: So my friend idea.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yeah, she actually has this bucket and she's like, let's
- 11:21Speaker 3: go get my free refill And I was like, what
- 11:23Speaker 3: do you mean free refill? Like you just get to
- 11:25Speaker 3: bring it. She's like, yeah, there's a certain stand you
- 11:26Speaker 3: have to go to once you buy this bucket. She's like,
- 11:28Speaker 3: I bought this bucket four seasons ago and it has
- 11:31Speaker 3: saved me so much money. So you can go get
- 11:33Speaker 3: this refillable bucket at cours Field and you can save
- 11:36Speaker 3: a whole lot of money.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Is the line a mile long thoseporns? No, it's not.
- 11:40Speaker 3: It's really comparable. And here's the thing I did some
- 11:43Speaker 3: digging about Corsfield. You can do a lot of things
- 11:45Speaker 3: to save some money.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Out there at the ballpark.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Did you know you can bring in an entire spaghetti
- 11:50Speaker 3: dinner for you and your family and they'll be.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Okay with it in a hip pack or something you can.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Bring provided the food is packed in individual portions and
- 11:59Speaker 3: carried in soft sided containers or bags measuring sixteen inches
- 12:03Speaker 3: or sixteen by eight inches or smaller. You can bring
- 12:06Speaker 3: pretty much whatever you want into that ballpark.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Are you imagine how crazy the zipy?
- 12:12Speaker 3: I have seen people post videos of eating spaghetti in
- 12:15Speaker 3: the ballpark and I didn't realize what it was until I.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Saw this story.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I was like, now this is our how funny? We
- 12:22Speaker 3: were like, what else can we bring? Should we bring
- 12:23Speaker 3: some ramen up in here?
- 12:25Speaker 2: Like?
- 12:25Speaker 3: What could we bring that would make a lot? You know,
- 12:28Speaker 3: like people would get to looking at you like a
- 12:33Speaker 3: chicken and mashed me exactly.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Just of asparagus.
- 12:38Speaker 4: An entire spread right there.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Corrs Field with it, They're absolutely fine.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Had no idea, but it.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Was definitely a fabulous time out at the ballpark.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Weather great weather, and again Father's Day. You know, it
- 12:50Speaker 3: was hard for me yesterday Father's Day being my dad
- 12:52Speaker 3: passed quite a few years back here, but yesterday I
- 12:56Speaker 3: saw a lot of signs from him, and that made
- 12:57Speaker 3: me feel so good, like signs because my dad was
- 13:00Speaker 3: a huge Spider Man fan, like a huge Spider Man fan,
- 13:03Speaker 3: like he thought he was Spider Man for a minute there.
- 13:06Speaker 4: But he There was a little kid sitting in front
- 13:09Speaker 4: of me.
- 13:09Speaker 2: What I keep talking.
- 13:11Speaker 3: There was a little boy sitting in front of me,
- 13:13Speaker 3: completely decked out in Rockies gear except for his hat
- 13:17Speaker 3: was a Spider Man and he like turned around and
- 13:20Speaker 3: smiled at me, and I was.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Like, oh, you know, did you call him dad? The
- 13:23Speaker 2: rest I did make it weird?
- 13:25Speaker 4: Did not make it weird, Dad.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Then next to me, across the aisle, there was a
- 13:29Speaker 3: little girl and she was so dressed in pink, I
- 13:33Speaker 3: mean the most pink I've ever seen on a kid,
- 13:35Speaker 3: but her shoes, everything but her shoes, and she was
- 13:39Speaker 3: rocking red Spider Man shoes and I did I know,
- 13:43Speaker 3: And so those to me, I was like, oh, happy Fathers.
- 13:48Speaker 4: So it was a nice little smile I put on
- 13:50Speaker 4: my face as well.
- 13:50Speaker 2: That's sweet.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Really, you brought it yesterday. It was a great time
- 13:54Speaker 3: at the ballpark. And I hope everybody had fun go wrong,
- 14:02Speaker 3: Go rockies.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Me. I wish you'd called the little girl dad, Daddy, Daddy.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Dad.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Don't turn around, kids, don't turn around. Crazy lady behind us,
- 14:17Speaker 2: don't un
