- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on relatables.
- 0:02Speaker 2: My last one, he's a red flag butt that tongue.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Oh really, what tongue can do that?
- 0:11Speaker 3: I reckon it could look at Colin love other Yeah, yeah, God.
- 0:33Speaker 1: All right, baddies, welcome back to week number two of
- 0:39Speaker 1: The Baddest Baddie, where we are highlighting the real engines
- 0:43Speaker 1: behind business, the women doing amazing things. We are trying
- 0:47Speaker 1: to use our platform to showcase the baddies. You guys,
- 0:51Speaker 1: We're gonna see your wins, your progress, and your growth
- 0:54Speaker 1: to inspire others and let them and their stories shine
- 0:59Speaker 1: because we don't want the achievements to go unseen.
- 1:01Speaker 2: And Jake, I'm excited, very very excited for this week.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Let's quickly give a recap what happened two weeks ago
- 1:09Speaker 2: previously on Relatables Badest Baddie.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Mister Chelsea, how.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Are you going? Welcome to the Baddest Baddie, Hey, Jake.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Business has been tough.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels like we're just pressing the same floor
- 1:24Speaker 1: button every day.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Maybe it's time we hit a new level.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but what's something actually innovative? Well, now that you talk.
- 1:36Speaker 4: About it, guys, innovative business montagne.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Obviously, we then heard from contestant number two.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Hello, speaking Taylor, It's Jake and Oddie from the Relatables.
- 1:47Speaker 1: How are you good?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 1:50Speaker 1: How are you so good? Welcome to the Baddest Baddy, Jake.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Business has been tough.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels like we're just pressing the same floor
- 2:03Speaker 1: button every day.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Maybe it's time we hit a new level.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but something actually innovative.
- 2:13Speaker 5: If you don't mind, may I intercept?
- 2:16Speaker 1: Of course?
- 2:16Speaker 4: Of course, I believe.
- 2:19Speaker 5: You're on the right path here. I believe people would strive.
- 2:22Speaker 5: We should always say yes to any opportunity we're given.
- 2:25Speaker 5: And as you said, it is tough and it can
- 2:27Speaker 5: be uncomfortable personally. At twenty I moved to a population
- 2:31Speaker 5: of eight hundred community and I knew nothing. I have
- 2:35Speaker 5: no experience. I learned everything as I went, and the
- 2:38Speaker 5: nearest city was twelve hours away. I've just said, yes,
- 2:42Speaker 5: that's all I did, and learn and adapt And sometimes
- 2:46Speaker 5: learning and adapting give you the skills. Honestly, no plan could.
- 2:50Speaker 2: All right, Jack, now we are all caught up. Before
- 2:53Speaker 2: we jump into our first caller, let's just quickly give
- 2:58Speaker 2: a little bit of a description of what she's been to.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Okay, Okay.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Her name is Grace and she is the ambassador for
- 3:04Speaker 2: New South Wales our Packer Youth, our Packers, our Packers,
- 3:10Speaker 2: which is cool. I'm intrigued to hear more.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Our packers. Okay.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Her hustle story is to raise awareness and provide hands
- 3:20Speaker 2: on experiences for our packers through workshops, camps, big guest speakers,
- 3:25Speaker 2: all whilst building a community for the youth to thrive.
- 3:29Speaker 2: And her Baddest Baddie moment was being part of the
- 3:32Speaker 2: youth program forming connections and lifelong friends, which then progressed
- 3:37Speaker 2: into becoming a mentor for the next generation to pass
- 3:40Speaker 2: on the skills she has learnt in the program. Grace,
- 3:45Speaker 2: You're a real baddie. I'm intrigued to hear her story,
- 3:48Speaker 2: so have I. Let's get some more information from her
- 3:51Speaker 2: and give her a ring.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Hello, go speaking.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Hello Grace, It's jaking Ody from the Relatables podcast. How's
- 3:56Speaker 2: it going?
- 3:57Speaker 4: Oh good? Thanks? How are you guys going really good?
- 4:00Speaker 2: Welcome to the Baddest.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Battie Oh thank you, thank you.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Are you excited to be here?
- 4:07Speaker 6: Oh?
- 4:07Speaker 4: I am so excited. I love talking about our packers
- 4:10Speaker 4: all the time.
- 4:12Speaker 2: But do you want to give a brief rundown in
- 4:14Speaker 2: your own words of basically everything the vibe, because it
- 4:18Speaker 2: seems like, yeah, pack is at the base for a
- 4:20Speaker 2: beautiful community. Is that right?
- 4:22Speaker 6: Oh?
- 4:22Speaker 5: It is it is.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I literally we are sharing out on a mob here.
- 4:26Speaker 4: But I have my best our paka bestie here that
- 4:29Speaker 4: I met through the US Group. It's such a great
- 4:33Speaker 4: so many people that we all make friends with, and
- 4:38Speaker 4: it's great especially for like real people, because you don't
- 4:41Speaker 4: make a lot of friends out where there's quite a
- 4:44Speaker 4: bit far from town. So it's a good way to
- 4:46Speaker 4: bring people in and just get off the farce. But
- 4:50Speaker 4: so the US Group, we don't just this for everyone.
- 4:53Speaker 4: So I started in Sydney and I grew up in
- 4:57Speaker 4: there and from there I've made a career. But it's
- 5:01Speaker 4: basically there's a committee of us and we run shows,
- 5:06Speaker 4: we want workshops, and our big thing coming up is
- 5:08Speaker 4: that we run an annual camp every year. So at
- 5:12Speaker 4: our camp, we have people even coming from wa and
- 5:15Speaker 4: Victoria to come. We've got special speechers, some really leaders
- 5:20Speaker 4: in the industry coming and we just have a lot
- 5:24Speaker 4: of fun things planned. But yeah, it's a great way
- 5:28Speaker 4: to teach people about our packers because Our packers are
- 5:31Speaker 4: just so much fun. Honestly, they're very unique, so we
- 5:37Speaker 4: just we're very passionate about it. So we just want
- 5:39Speaker 4: everyone to be as passionate as we are.
- 5:41Speaker 2: And what did you to our packers? Initially like coming
- 5:45Speaker 2: from a backdoor farming.
- 5:48Speaker 4: No, so I grew up in the stopln Shi actually,
- 5:52Speaker 4: but my high school had some our packers and they
- 5:56Speaker 4: came from a place that they were be involved with
- 5:59Speaker 4: the U. So I started coming to competitions with a
- 6:02Speaker 4: lot of us started from schools. But you don't have
- 6:06Speaker 4: to come from a school. You can just be an
- 6:07Speaker 4: independent person come in to compete, and then they just
- 6:11Speaker 4: kind of hook everyone in and you people join the communities.
- 6:15Speaker 4: They run shows, and it's really great because you get
- 6:19Speaker 4: to see a full circle moment because I was a
- 6:22Speaker 4: little kids doing all this. Now I'm running it, and
- 6:25Speaker 4: I see little kids that barely can touch in our factors.
- 6:30Speaker 4: They're so scared, and now they're running competitions with me.
- 6:33Speaker 4: They're doing big workshops and running all this stuff. So
- 6:37Speaker 4: it's really great to make a community, get your confidence
- 6:41Speaker 4: and stuff and have a special spot like it makes
- 6:45Speaker 4: you kind of important. So it's yeah, it's a really
- 6:48Speaker 4: great thing. I love it so much.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I'm going to say that sounds so sick.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, circol And what does your day to day look
- 6:55Speaker 2: like or maybe even a week of the activities you
- 6:58Speaker 2: do within the whole founding?
- 7:02Speaker 4: So through the youth group, we do monthly meetings to
- 7:07Speaker 4: kind of plan things and then depending well you can
- 7:11Speaker 4: you can just be there to have your contribute, or
- 7:15Speaker 4: you can just come to competitions or come to camp,
- 7:17Speaker 4: or you can get more involved. But I actually work
- 7:20Speaker 4: on an our pack of farms, so my day to
- 7:23Speaker 4: day is I look after all male packers. We're got
- 7:27Speaker 4: four days of shearing right now, so it's very very busy.
- 7:31Speaker 4: I'm literally running around the shed. But yeah, it's honestly
- 7:37Speaker 4: so much fun. I recommend anyone we've got social I
- 7:41Speaker 4: run all the social media, so we have a TikTok
- 7:43Speaker 4: and a Facebook and an Instagram page, so we put
- 7:46Speaker 4: up all the information about that for camp, for any
- 7:50Speaker 4: competitions coming up. We run lots Sydney base so they
- 7:55Speaker 4: won't be too far for a lot of people to
- 7:56Speaker 4: travel to. But I'm up in Golden I'm running Golden One.
- 8:00Speaker 2: We have some hunter so you're busy.
- 8:05Speaker 4: It keeps me entertained.
- 8:07Speaker 2: And what are all the social channels if people want
- 8:09Speaker 2: to check them out?
- 8:11Speaker 4: So they're mostly all called just our pack of youth,
- 8:15Speaker 4: our packer underscore Youth. The TikTok is just my little
- 8:19Speaker 4: fun project. Just hit four hundred followers. Pretty let's go,
- 8:26Speaker 4: oh gosh, that would be wild. But if you really
- 8:30Speaker 4: the TikTok is just for shoot our packer pitches. I
- 8:32Speaker 4: have this beautiful little career and I just keep posting
- 8:35Speaker 4: ther so so sick.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, what's it?
- 8:39Speaker 2: I want to know? What's a baby outpacker like? Is
- 8:41Speaker 2: it like the cutest thing ever? It is like a
- 8:43Speaker 2: puppy on Oh, it's so cute.
- 8:46Speaker 4: And they get these little zoomies and they bounced around
- 8:49Speaker 4: and would run around and oh and they have perfect
- 8:52Speaker 4: little cuddle slide. You can just pick them up and
- 8:54Speaker 4: snuggle them. They're amazing.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Wow.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Well okay, great, Well after all that, how are you
- 9:01Speaker 2: feeling and are you ready to compete in the Baddest
- 9:04Speaker 2: Baddy Challenge?
- 9:06Speaker 4: I am so ready. I want to promote the use group,
- 9:10Speaker 4: so I'm all in. I'm all in.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Okay, So today's challenge, as I already told you, is
- 9:16Speaker 2: to respond to a common workplace problem via email. So
- 9:22Speaker 2: when this call ends, Jake and I will email you
- 9:24Speaker 2: from our email, the one you supplied, and you've got
- 9:28Speaker 2: fifteen minutes to reply to the best of your ability
- 9:32Speaker 2: and with it. It's very broad spectrum, so you can
- 9:35Speaker 2: add in pretend it's like working in an I don't know,
- 9:38Speaker 2: an outpack of company. Yeah, but it's a very broad spectrum,
- 9:41Speaker 2: so just do your best.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Oh sounds good. I've got fifteen minutes before we start
- 9:46Speaker 4: sharing good farming boys.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Perfect, perfect, So we are going to hang up right
- 9:50Speaker 2: now and send this email through and then at the
- 9:53Speaker 2: end we're going to read your response to all the
- 9:55Speaker 2: baddies and the baddies will vote who is going through
- 9:58Speaker 2: to the next round.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Oh sounds great. I hope the baddies all have a
- 10:02Speaker 4: great day to day as well. Smile everyone, It is
- 10:06Speaker 4: important to smile.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you zero.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Okay. Baddie number two four today is Sarah Matthews. She's
- 10:22Speaker 1: the actual she's an author and author. We have a
- 10:24Speaker 1: baddie that is an author and author.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That's a cool title.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Her book is called My Mental Health Toolkit, a Recovery Guide.
- 10:31Speaker 1: All right, So before we jump into the Core with Sarah.
- 10:33Speaker 1: We have her hustle story and her Baudest Baddie moment,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and we just wanted to say her story is very
- 10:39Speaker 1: it's quite inspiring, and so we'll touch on it briefly,
- 10:41Speaker 1: but it's going to come on the on the core
- 10:44Speaker 1: with her. It'll sound very good come from her, we
- 10:45Speaker 1: think so her hustle story. I used to be extremely
- 10:49Speaker 1: unwell with my mental health and handmade a book during
- 10:52Speaker 1: that time I could refer to when I was struggling
- 10:54Speaker 1: with a lot of basic mental health skills to help
- 10:57Speaker 1: on my road to recovery. Once I was doing a
- 11:00Speaker 1: lot better, I started working with a mental health organization
- 11:03Speaker 1: and with Dame Sue Bagshaw, mental health legend in New Zealand.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Her and a few others saw my handmade book at
- 11:10Speaker 1: the presentations and suggested I publish it. So long story short,
- 11:14Speaker 1: I self published this book and sold out my first
- 11:16Speaker 1: print run of one hundred and fifty in two months.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Do another print run of one hundred and fifty and
- 11:21Speaker 1: sold that in three months. Now I have a print
- 11:23Speaker 1: run of two thousand, and I've sold about a thousand
- 11:25Speaker 1: of them in the past year or two. Where author
- 11:29Speaker 1: Whow bad is Badie moment being asked back to my
- 11:33Speaker 1: old school to speak on mental health, where I attended
- 11:36Speaker 1: as a student six years before. Schools and health services
- 11:40Speaker 1: have been buying my book my Mental Health Toolkit, A
- 11:42Speaker 1: Recovery Guard, as a tool to use with those struggling.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Beyond that, I've started studying counseling and training with the
- 11:49Speaker 1: New Zealand Beach and Indoor Handball Team PS. The Girl's
- 11:53Speaker 1: last podcast were so incredible and fully feel I need
- 11:57Speaker 1: to up my game after hearing them.
- 11:59Speaker 2: So I don't know about that, Sarah, Come on, author,
- 12:04Speaker 2: that's such a cool title. That's up like doctors author author. Alright,
- 12:13Speaker 2: let's give her a ring.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Hello, you're speaking Sarah. It's Jake and Oddie from Latables.
- 12:18Speaker 1: How are you?
- 12:20Speaker 2: Oh?
- 12:20Speaker 6: I am good, but freece?
- 12:22Speaker 1: How are you? Guys?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Very very good?
- 12:24Speaker 1: You say you're freaked.
- 12:27Speaker 6: I said, I'm good, but scres.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Oh stress stress fair enough? Fair enough? Why are you stressed?
- 12:35Speaker 6: Because I listened to the podcast, of course, but the
- 12:39Speaker 6: Girl from not the today's episode but last week.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Thanks?
- 12:43Speaker 6: What incredible?
- 12:45Speaker 1: You're incredible?
- 12:47Speaker 2: Incredible?
- 12:47Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 12:49Speaker 2: We just read your hustle story in.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Your baddest Baddy moment and wanted to say huge, congratulations, very.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Thank you, thank you.
- 12:58Speaker 1: So how has it been you said that you now
- 13:00Speaker 1: you've sold one thousand of the two thousand print run
- 13:04Speaker 1: for your book. Yeah, how's that going?
- 13:09Speaker 6: Oh yeah, it's going good. I think it just amazes
- 13:15Speaker 6: me every time that I like get a message or
- 13:17Speaker 6: someone ordering it. I'm still in the process of sitting
- 13:20Speaker 6: up a website, so I'm doing it through an organization
- 13:23Speaker 6: that I work with, And every time I get a
- 13:27Speaker 6: message being like, hey, we'd love to buy your book,
- 13:28Speaker 6: or I speaking at Evingt and I go, this book
- 13:30Speaker 6: is amazing. Can I get one? I'm just it blows
- 13:33Speaker 6: my mind. That's something that I made to help my
- 13:36Speaker 6: own mental health is now helping a whole lot of others.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, honestly, that is so so cool. So when you
- 13:43Speaker 1: get the website made, is it going to be your
- 13:46Speaker 1: own website or can we send such people to is
- 13:49Speaker 1: it the organization's website?
- 13:51Speaker 6: So it'd be I've send people at the moment just
- 13:53Speaker 6: to the organization that I work with, Collaborative Trust. It's
- 13:57Speaker 6: I run presentations through then on mental health topics. But
- 14:01Speaker 6: I've got a little less singe off my book on
- 14:03Speaker 6: there that you can order it. Otherwise, hopefully in the
- 14:06Speaker 6: next few weeks I'll get a website up and running.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So right now, best way to order the book is
- 14:11Speaker 1: through that website you just said. And it is called
- 14:14Speaker 1: My Mental Health Toolkit, a Recovery Guide. Correct.
- 14:18Speaker 6: Yes, that is correct.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Wow, very very nice. I wanted to ask too, actually,
- 14:23Speaker 2: when you were going through our hard time and writing
- 14:25Speaker 2: this book, what inspired you to take the steps? I
- 14:28Speaker 2: guess not getting too much into what was going on,
- 14:31Speaker 2: but what inspired you to take the first initial steps
- 14:34Speaker 2: to write this book and have some tips to help yourself,
- 14:37Speaker 2: which in a result has helped other people.
- 14:42Speaker 6: So actually, at that point, I was at a residential
- 14:44Speaker 6: program like a living program up in Auckland Stylum and
- 14:47Speaker 6: christ Church for Us in New Zealand for us up
- 14:50Speaker 6: in Auckland, and we were doing all of these skills
- 14:55Speaker 6: and learning all these things that could help and I
- 14:57Speaker 6: need him in one place, and part of programs that
- 15:00Speaker 6: they actually encourage people to make like a little book.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Not too many people actually did it, but I was like,
- 15:04Speaker 6: I'm going to do it because I think I've just
- 15:08Speaker 6: been going into such a circle of my mental health.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Is there going through the hospital system getting worse and
- 15:14Speaker 6: then going I need to get better and that thing's
- 15:17Speaker 6: not really working out. So I was like, what can
- 15:19Speaker 6: I do that? Really I can keep referring to yeah, which.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I guess was that which is really really good? And
- 15:26Speaker 2: what do you see the trajectory or what are your
- 15:28Speaker 2: goals for the future. Is it to release more books,
- 15:30Speaker 2: or to inspire more people or just be a supportive outlet.
- 15:34Speaker 6: I guess I just love to keep being able to
- 15:35Speaker 6: speak hope and to others that are struggling. There is
- 15:38Speaker 6: one of the key things. To get my book out there,
- 15:41Speaker 6: of course is great, but it's just to provide that
- 15:43Speaker 6: as a resource to others. I think eventually I'd love
- 15:48Speaker 6: to make more books. I'd love to like fire a
- 15:52Speaker 6: big goal, but work in with some today Emori and
- 15:57Speaker 6: their culture and link up with a Mulori host health
- 16:01Speaker 6: model which is fast and I think I'm missed up
- 16:07Speaker 6: the pronunciation a bit there, but really linked man with
- 16:12Speaker 6: like the culture of but also looking at making the
- 16:16Speaker 6: book for once more for people with ADHD or streaming
- 16:22Speaker 6: and like zooming in on like anxiety or depression key
- 16:27Speaker 6: thing since at the moment it is quite a wide
- 16:30Speaker 6: angle for anyone that's just struggling.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I think it's really good.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And the study of goals, Yeah, that's got to have
- 16:38Speaker 1: big goals. It's a great goal. And you're studying counseling
- 16:41Speaker 1: right now.
- 16:42Speaker 6: Yes, I am nice.
- 16:44Speaker 1: And do you do you enjoy that?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:46Speaker 6: I'm really loving it. I originally was studying psychology at
- 16:50Speaker 6: UC but just found the big organization style wasn't worth
- 16:55Speaker 6: really working for me and with my mental health, took
- 16:58Speaker 6: for meisstra off and then actually started studying at a
- 17:00Speaker 6: smaller college and I've been loving it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Well that's amazing, which is great, So you'll hand it
- 17:07Speaker 1: over to you. Okay.
- 17:08Speaker 2: So we are now onto the Baddest Baddy Challenge. How
- 17:12Speaker 2: are you feeling in regards to competing?
- 17:15Speaker 6: I yeah, good, I think Yeah, I'm locked in.
- 17:21Speaker 7: I'm really email okay, So what's going to happen is
- 17:27Speaker 7: you're actually competing against a New South Wales ourpacker youth worker.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So it is a very very different world to what
- 17:36Speaker 2: you're in. So for the challenge and the email, we've
- 17:39Speaker 2: had to go super broad spectrum. But what's going to
- 17:42Speaker 2: happen from here is we're going to hang up the call,
- 17:44Speaker 2: send you an email and you will have fifteen minutes
- 17:47Speaker 2: to respond. From there, Jake and I will read the
- 17:51Speaker 2: responses and we'll pose it to the baddies to vote
- 17:53Speaker 2: who had a better email response and have a bit
- 17:56Speaker 2: of fun with it. It's very lighthearted and do your.
- 18:02Speaker 6: Okay, thank you guys.
- 18:03Speaker 2: No worries at all. Check that inbox. We'll be emailing
- 18:06Speaker 2: you shortly. Thank you bye. Okay, baddies. You might be
- 18:13Speaker 2: wondering what we just email the two competitors, so here
- 18:17Speaker 2: it is. They had to respond to this email. The
- 18:20Speaker 2: subject draft a friendly reminder email about the lunch thief. Hi, baddie,
- 18:27Speaker 2: hope you are doing great today. I have a quick
- 18:29Speaker 2: task that i'd like your help with. Could you draft
- 18:31Speaker 2: a short company wide email that reminds everyone about not
- 18:35Speaker 2: stealing anyone's lunches. We've noticed a bit of a reoccurring
- 18:39Speaker 2: lunch thief situation in the staff lounge and we'd like
- 18:43Speaker 2: to address it with a friendly tone. Feel free to
- 18:45Speaker 2: add a touch of humor if you think it will
- 18:47Speaker 2: land well, but the main goal is this too, just
- 18:50Speaker 2: a polite nudge so everyone is a little bit more mindful.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Thanks a ton for handling this, handling this best relatables.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So fingers Crossed can delegate well and get some good responses.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Because that is not something that we could word.
- 19:07Speaker 2: We would get chatchabety to do it and hopefully the
- 19:09Speaker 2: parties don't get chat. So stay tuned to the end
- 19:13Speaker 2: of the episode because we will be reading the email responses.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Then and you guys can vote. Yep, Welcome in to
- 19:27Speaker 1: the episode. Badies couldn't we couldn't resist. We had We
- 19:30Speaker 1: had started off with a bang.
- 19:32Speaker 2: A big bang, but we're back normal episode as follows.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yes, so last week we talked about oh no, I
- 19:41Speaker 1: showed on your video of my car.
- 19:43Speaker 2: There was a lot of comments saying, Jay, get a
- 19:45Speaker 2: new car. Really, yeah, it's a it's a it's a need,
- 19:48Speaker 2: not a one. That's what I have been I have
- 19:50Speaker 2: been saying, it's become a need not a one, because
- 19:52Speaker 2: of all, you always kind of want a new car.
- 19:54Speaker 1: You do me today, How was it fine? Okay, yeah,
- 19:57Speaker 1: that was fine. It was also fine when I did
- 19:59Speaker 1: drive last week. It just was that thirty seconds of
- 20:01Speaker 1: crazy noise.
- 20:02Speaker 2: You were playing laughter all that right now? Yeah, yeah,
- 20:06Speaker 2: no work, you gotta get it.
- 20:13Speaker 1: So we said we would both go find some vehicles
- 20:19Speaker 1: and then bring them. But I want to tell you
- 20:21Speaker 1: guys a quick story about what Oddie and I did
- 20:23Speaker 1: last week. So straight away, like as soon as I like,
- 20:27Speaker 1: it's like we said, it's a need, not a one,
- 20:29Speaker 1: so the the decision has been made that I need
- 20:31Speaker 1: and to get a new car, so I'm actively looking.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Straight away, we go and we start looking, and then
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure, like day of recording that episode, Oudie
- 20:40Speaker 1: and I find some just stick ones. We find like
- 20:42Speaker 1: couple cars were sending into each other and shit, and
- 20:44Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god. I was like, what about
- 20:48Speaker 1: the segment we kind of just started. I'm gonna go
- 20:50Speaker 1: get a new cover for it even starts holy crap,
- 20:52Speaker 1: and then we were like fucking who cares whatever whatever.
- 20:55Speaker 1: So Wednesday, no, we're.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Going to be like, if you get one, we'll surprise
- 20:58Speaker 2: about it exactly.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, So Monday we recall that episode. Wednesday, its
- 21:04Speaker 1: two days later. Oddie and I throughout the last the
- 21:07Speaker 1: two days are sending each other cars back and forth.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Oddie sends me an insane one Okay, Suzuki Jimney Sierra
- 21:17Speaker 1: twenty thirteen manual Petrol one hundred and thirty seven thousand
- 21:23Speaker 1: k's on the advertisement, right, nice and low sinking bargain. Okay,
- 21:28Speaker 1: we call the bloke legend. I'm gonna give him shout at.
- 21:32Speaker 1: His name's Peter. He's actually very nice guy. Yeah, all right.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I talked to Peter on the phone.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I'm like, he it does not even photos of it
- 21:39Speaker 1: on car sales yet. He just has like a random
- 21:43Speaker 1: photo op and he just got the stats of the
- 21:44Speaker 1: car up. And I call him and he goes, yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 1: like I haven't even had a chance to get it cleaned,
- 21:48Speaker 1: you know. So we're talking back and forth and he says, look,
- 21:51Speaker 1: I'm getting it detailed tomorrow. I'm cleaning up the wheels,
- 21:56Speaker 1: and I'm getting it ozoned, which is smell. Now, he said,
- 22:01Speaker 1: the only there's only been one previous owner, and it
- 22:03Speaker 1: was an elderly woman. And so I'm thinking ticking boxes
- 22:07Speaker 1: left and right.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Every single box is being ticked.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Every single box has been ticked.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Ks one female owner who's old.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:14Speaker 2: The dream because these cars are full drives, and they're
- 22:17Speaker 2: predominantly kind of really treated badly.
- 22:21Speaker 1: They get treated poorly because people take them out on
- 22:23Speaker 1: the beach. They're taking full drive and they rough them up, ye,
- 22:25Speaker 1: because that's what you're supposed to do with it. But
- 22:26Speaker 1: when you buy one, you don't want that to have happened.
- 22:29Speaker 1: So you want to buy one that has been drivened
- 22:30Speaker 1: by an elderly woman, all the services are in check
- 22:34Speaker 1: and everything like that. And so I call him on
- 22:37Speaker 1: that phone. Goal he goes, okay, let me. He goes,
- 22:39Speaker 1: I got about ten people would just absolutly kill my
- 22:41Speaker 1: head about this thing, you know, having him got a
- 22:43Speaker 1: fully up on the cartels yet, And so I said, yeah, yeah, yeah, fair.
- 22:46Speaker 1: He goes, he's like, okay, let me think. Let me
- 22:48Speaker 1: give you a price. He's like, I'll give you thirteen
- 22:50Speaker 1: and five. You had it up for fourteen five then,
- 22:53Speaker 1: probably just trying to make him sound like he's always
- 22:55Speaker 1: going to take thirty and five. So but he says
- 22:57Speaker 1: thirty and five. I say, mate, done. He goes, if
- 22:59Speaker 1: you put a two hundred dollar a posit on it today,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I'll take I'll say it's sold, and I'll tell everyone
- 23:04Speaker 1: to bugger off.
- 23:05Speaker 2: And I say it's about two thousand dollars under market value,
- 23:09Speaker 2: maybe fifteen hundred, one hundred percent market value, So.
- 23:12Speaker 1: It's a barget, right, and I'm like, fuck it, sorry, baddies,
- 23:15Speaker 1: you're getting a new car reveal next week. Okay. So
- 23:20Speaker 1: I put the two hundred dollars deposit down. He messages
- 23:23Speaker 1: me the next day. He's like teasing me with like
- 23:26Speaker 1: saying it looks like beautiful. He's not sending me photos,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and I was like, mane, you've got to send me photos.
- 23:30Speaker 1: He sends me a few beautiful. He goes nine, am Woolengong,
- 23:35Speaker 1: see you there or something like that. He's like, he says,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I'm in Woongong Saturday. She's ready for you to take
- 23:41Speaker 1: and so I said, sweet, that's an hour and a
- 23:42Speaker 1: half from where Beth and I live. So Saturday comes,
- 23:47Speaker 1: we take the journey down. We get there. To be fair,
- 23:51Speaker 1: she looks beautiful. I meet Peter, nice guy, all right,
- 23:56Speaker 1: and he's like yeah, yeah, he's showing me things. Smells great.
- 23:58Speaker 1: It smells like a new car, been clean and stuff,
- 24:01Speaker 1: and then gives me the keys. You guys, all right,
- 24:03Speaker 1: do you take it for a test drive? Best doesn't
- 24:04Speaker 1: come with me because she has dogs, so she's just
- 24:06Speaker 1: chilling out the dealership with the dogs. So I take
- 24:08Speaker 1: it for a chest drive on my own. I'm driving
- 24:11Speaker 1: first thing I noticed is when it goes into second gear,
- 24:15Speaker 1: it's a bit rattally, right. All the other gears were sweet,
- 24:18Speaker 1: but when you go into second gear and pull off
- 24:19Speaker 1: the clutch and then like rev for those who know
- 24:22Speaker 1: how to drive manual, like obviously you know what I mean,
- 24:24Speaker 1: It's like it kind of felt like the whole car
- 24:27Speaker 1: just like shook a little bit. And I was like,
- 24:29Speaker 1: that's obviously not right, but it could be fine. Yeah,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I was like willing to look past that. I was like,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I used to drive an old car like that kind
- 24:36Speaker 1: of happened. And then I'm driving and I see that
- 24:40Speaker 1: on the odometer it says two hundred thousand kilometers and
- 24:44Speaker 1: I was like what the fuck? I was like, did
- 24:46Speaker 1: this guy? My head straight away goes, did this guy
- 24:50Speaker 1: put it up for one thirty seven? Because he was
- 24:52Speaker 1: gonna like put a drill on the fucking odometer and
- 24:55Speaker 1: reel it back to one thirty seven. He's just forgotten
- 24:57Speaker 1: to do it, or has he just done something wrong?
- 24:58Speaker 1: Like has he done it on purpose? And he's trying
- 25:00Speaker 1: to get people to get here and just not give
- 25:02Speaker 1: a shit about it. And so I'm driving, I check
- 25:05Speaker 1: the I like check the the ad and I checked
- 25:08Speaker 1: the contract I signed, and so like, I signed this contract.
- 25:11Speaker 1: He says, you test drive it, you don't like it,
- 25:12Speaker 1: you get your money back. And I was like sweet.
- 25:14Speaker 1: So I checked the contract. It says it has one
- 25:15Speaker 1: hundred and thirty seven on that. It's like, what, take
- 25:18Speaker 1: it back. Talk to me about the little noise. And
- 25:20Speaker 1: then I said, mate, And then there's the case situation.
- 25:22Speaker 1: You just got t tow hundred thousand klometers and he goes, yeah,
- 25:24Speaker 1: that's what's got and that's like on the contract I
- 25:25Speaker 1: sign has had one hundred and thirty seven thousand. This
- 25:28Speaker 1: motherfucker's fucking George dropped. Yes, George on his face was
- 25:33Speaker 1: he was. I get back from test driving. He comes out,
- 25:35Speaker 1: he shakes the hand, he's happy ass. And then I
- 25:37Speaker 1: tell him that and he's somber. Oh yeah, it was
- 25:40Speaker 1: writing too. It was in full writing sign contracts and everything.
- 25:43Speaker 1: And then he goes, come me, coming me. He takes
- 25:46Speaker 1: me into his office. Okay, he takes me into his
- 25:48Speaker 1: back office and he's like, and I sit down and
- 25:51Speaker 1: he's going on and he's looking and he goes, he's
- 25:54Speaker 1: just looking. Were silent for a second. Then he goes
- 25:57Speaker 1: fuck it does say one thirty seven. I like, so
- 26:05Speaker 1: I was thinking, damn. I said, okay, look he goes.
- 26:08Speaker 1: He goes, right, he's about to call someone. They don't answer,
- 26:13Speaker 1: and then he goes he goes, all right, the best
- 26:17Speaker 1: I can do is or keep in mind, this came.
- 26:20Speaker 1: This comes with three years warranty. So he goes, best
- 26:22Speaker 1: I can do is thirteen grand, five years warranty. And
- 26:25Speaker 1: I was kind of like, oh okay. I was like,
- 26:28Speaker 1: I was like, what is a warranty cover? He's like engine, clutch, gearbox, driving,
- 26:33Speaker 1: steering things, whatever, everything basically, And I was like, I
- 26:37Speaker 1: just don't know how much I trust that though, Like
- 26:38Speaker 1: they've got to have ways of wehazling out of actually
- 26:40Speaker 1: paying for it, so it sounds too good. So and
- 26:42Speaker 1: then I was like, look, can I I said, sixty
- 26:46Speaker 1: three thousand kilometers is a lot of extra kilometers? Can
- 26:51Speaker 1: I tell you just I don't want to waste any
- 26:52Speaker 1: time genuinely what I will pay for it? And he
- 26:54Speaker 1: goes yeah, and I said nine. He goes nah, nah nah,
- 26:56Speaker 1: And I was like that's fine. I was like, well,
- 26:58Speaker 1: I'm out of here then, and so I leave it
- 27:02Speaker 1: like on good. Like he doesn't. He's not mad at me.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I'm not mad at him. I was like, I appreciate time.
- 27:05Speaker 2: He used to be mad at him.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Is that exactly the only two fair? You kind of
- 27:07Speaker 1: waste my time. And because he goes, no, I got
- 27:11Speaker 1: like six buyers that really want it, like I can't
- 27:13Speaker 1: do it for nine and I was like that's fine,
- 27:14Speaker 1: and so we leave and then he sends me a text.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I think I sent him my bank details and I
- 27:21Speaker 1: said thanks again for today, like, appreciate you. Let me
- 27:23Speaker 1: take it for a test drive. He's my details for
- 27:25Speaker 1: that deposit back and then he goes, yes, cool, I
- 27:28Speaker 1: saught that on Monday. He goes, just just one more
- 27:30Speaker 1: for you, I can do twelve five five years warranty
- 27:32Speaker 1: and I was like, I'm sorry, mate, I won't I'm
- 27:35Speaker 1: not going past ten. And then he text me and
- 27:37Speaker 1: he goes, ah, yeah cool, cool, cool cool, and I
- 27:41Speaker 1: go yeah, all good and then I nothing happens for one.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Then he texted me one more time and he goes.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Eleven five five years warranty and I and so yes,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I messaged him and I said, Peter, appreciate the offer,
- 27:52Speaker 1: but I'm going to pass.
- 27:56Speaker 2: And too fair it's only worth like with that many
- 27:58Speaker 2: k's ten ten to five. Yeah, like it's a lot
- 28:02Speaker 2: of keys to your new fair I have.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I've bought a car that had like three hundred and.
- 28:09Speaker 2: That was a total. Yeah, the engines are right now
- 28:12Speaker 2: is this is just a little chimney. Yeah.
- 28:14Speaker 1: So now Oddie and I have now actually gone to
- 28:17Speaker 1: car sales and I've brought two cars I want to
- 28:19Speaker 1: get and I have any of you brought one one? Yeah, okay, baddies,
- 28:23Speaker 1: we are going to show what route did you go?
- 28:25Speaker 1: All right, now I've completely changed. All right, this is
- 28:30Speaker 1: actually what you want, This is actually what I want want.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I'm hell bent on a Jeep Wrangler. Really, you trying
- 28:35Speaker 1: to steer me away, but I'm hell bent on a
- 28:37Speaker 1: Jeep Wrangler two door. I want the short wheelbase one.
- 28:40Speaker 2: To preface, I had a Jeep Wrangler and it was
- 28:42Speaker 2: it was sick. Was also a lot better than anything
- 28:46Speaker 2: you set me.
- 28:48Speaker 1: All Right, I went, wait, no way, I'll show you
- 28:51Speaker 1: my Okay, I'll show you mine first, and we'll show them.
- 28:55Speaker 1: So this one two thousand and nine Jep Wrangler Sport
- 28:57Speaker 1: four by four m Y zero and nine. Don't know
- 28:59Speaker 1: what that means fourteen thousand dollars one hundred and thirty
- 29:03Speaker 1: eight thousand k's diesel, Oh, diesel manual cool right check.
- 29:09Speaker 1: This's in Mona Vail, by the way, which is in Sydney.
- 29:12Speaker 1: And yeah, he's got some I don't mind that.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Let me see.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Yeah, he likes to say that he has. He wrote
- 29:16Speaker 1: in here or she wrote in here that they haven't
- 29:18Speaker 1: been on the beach.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Well, my reasoning for not saying Jake getting a jeep
- 29:23Speaker 2: is a good idea. I feel like I'm fucking the
- 29:25Speaker 2: responsible place.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Also, deep it's a cool bro is because.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Of the fuel economy. When they're petrol, they chug few fuel.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Ready, let's just pretend it's diesel, you're alright, let's just pretend.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Let's just I don't care about fuel economy though. Let's
- 29:39Speaker 1: just pretend I don't give a fuck about that, all right? Yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 1: any other reason to why as why not to get one?
- 29:45Speaker 2: They're expensive to r like like repair repair, all right, again,
- 29:48Speaker 2: one more thing, any other reasons other than that? I
- 29:52Speaker 2: like that so many the other one I don't mind.
- 29:53Speaker 2: That's better than the other.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah, jeeing, it's actually good a That's why I haven't
- 29:57Speaker 1: sent them to you. That's why. Here I'll show you
- 29:59Speaker 1: this one. This one's actually pretty sick well blow market price,
- 30:02Speaker 1: but it needs something fixed. Twenty eighteen Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
- 30:06Speaker 1: twenty eighteen manual, one hundred and twenty four thousand K's
- 30:09Speaker 1: SUV petrol alright, twelve thousand dollars. Now the guy is
- 30:14Speaker 1: saying he needs a quick sale due to that's yeh see,
- 30:21Speaker 1: it is a little sus but it does say the
- 30:23Speaker 1: radiator needs replacing, and it says, but I've chosen upgrade
- 30:26Speaker 1: to a seven set car. Need a quick sale radiator
- 30:30Speaker 1: eight hundred bucks.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yeah, twelve k for twenty eighteen plus installation at wey
- 30:34Speaker 2: twelve hundred. I did my radio before, radiator before I
- 30:37Speaker 2: sold it. Twenty eighteen is fucking new twenty eighteen. That's
- 30:42Speaker 2: really susp Yeah, that's the same as mine. H three
- 30:46Speaker 2: point six liter petrol's huge powerful though. Yeah, eleven point
- 30:52Speaker 2: eight liters per one hundred kilometers. That's fucking shit. Interesting.
- 30:57Speaker 2: I like the other one better. It's like it better
- 31:00Speaker 2: because I like Sure, I think that's too sus to me.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Something's wrong with that. I that's like at the end,
- 31:05Speaker 2: we like the other one. Oh, the other one, I
- 31:06Speaker 2: can diesel way better. Well, my my, we'll go on
- 31:10Speaker 2: to mine and then we can leave it up to
- 31:12Speaker 2: the batty. Because the other thing is you could go
- 31:13Speaker 2: really wise. I didn't bring anything boring.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Okay, good because you could have want boring.
- 31:17Speaker 2: But you could go like a fucking Vatarazuki Vitara Corolla,
- 31:22Speaker 2: like twelve thousand dollars, like one hundred thousand k's no issue,
- 31:25Speaker 2: servicing is half the price. Or let me text you this.
- 31:28Speaker 1: About yeah ship, Okay, I'm excited.
- 31:30Speaker 2: This is halfway between. You're going to appreciate it. But
- 31:33Speaker 2: the baddies might think it's giving redneck, But okay, I.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Reckon you will appreciate it.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I've texted it too.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Best was barely on board with the Iszuki that I
- 31:43Speaker 1: testedro barely really yeah, purely for the fact where she's like,
- 31:47Speaker 1: you're gonna go spend all this money on it, like
- 31:48Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars on a car and it's barely bigger
- 31:52Speaker 1: than the one you have.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Now, well, this one's not bigger, but it's cool.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Oh my days, you're insane.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Four by four Brother goes on the Beach and nineteen
- 32:05Speaker 2: eighty eight Suzuki Brumny, no super rub Brumby super Brumby. Sorry,
- 32:09Speaker 2: it's got Suzuki stuck in my head.
- 32:12Speaker 1: One hundred and fifty four thousand kilometers.
- 32:14Speaker 2: This is just an example of the car. You might
- 32:16Speaker 2: have to look a bit better.
- 32:17Speaker 1: All right, let's let it's in the pass range. Let's
- 32:19Speaker 1: go and have a look. All right, so we've got.
- 32:20Speaker 2: See it's halfway between super cool but also super redneck.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I've always wanted a Brumby.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I reckon I'll get one eventually as a novelty car.
- 32:29Speaker 1: But how cool is it?
- 32:31Speaker 2: Dogs in the back?
- 32:33Speaker 1: Oh it's clean too, dude.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I think what we do here is leave it up
- 32:39Speaker 2: to the baddies. Oh not you.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I reckon, we go? Should Jake go sensible? Wait a second?
- 32:46Speaker 1: Wait a second, wait a second? What I buy? I
- 32:51Speaker 1: will be driving on the freeway a bit only for
- 32:54Speaker 1: a little while. Is that BRUMBI gonna be good? And
- 32:58Speaker 1: also then I have to drive it to Queens.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think that's fine.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I can tell you I think Beth would say. I
- 33:06Speaker 1: think Beth would give me a fucking ultimatum front one
- 33:08Speaker 1: of that.
- 33:09Speaker 2: But where I was going with that is that was
- 33:11Speaker 2: just an example, it's a novelty car. Yeah, the Jeeps
- 33:13Speaker 2: novelty car. The Suzuki is a novelty car in a sense.
- 33:17Speaker 1: They're not quite not novelty, Jeep sexy honestly, But where
- 33:21Speaker 1: I was.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Going with it is, I reckon we leave it up
- 33:22Speaker 2: to the batties right now. And they comment, they commented,
- 33:24Speaker 2: last episode, should Jake go sensible and we look at
- 33:28Speaker 2: some newer cars, Yeah, a little bit or novelty. And
- 33:32Speaker 2: in that novelty is anything like.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Like cool, cool sexy. Beth's dad gave me the best

- 33:58Speaker 1: You're right.
- 33:59Speaker 2: He's been looking at your he and I gets and

- 34:13Speaker 2: every day of the week for your price point, for
- 34:17Speaker 2: your price point. If you had twenty twenty five thousand dollars,
- 34:19Speaker 2: I'd say a Jeep. But I think of value like
- 34:21Speaker 2: value for money. I okon Suzuki is more reliable and
- 34:24Speaker 2: cheaper run. So it's up to you, man, But let's
- 34:27Speaker 2: leave it to the baddies, and we'll come back next
- 34:29Speaker 2: week with your actual game plan and where you're going

- 34:32Speaker 2: you buy. Yeah, okay, And obviously they don't have fun say,
- 34:37Speaker 2: but I want their input.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I want their input too. Please, baddies, please vote for
- 34:41Speaker 1: the one I want, you know, the one I want
- 34:42Speaker 1: the short Weell wear silver jep.
- 34:43Speaker 2: It's sensible, cool comment that. Yeah, alright, baddies, I want
- 34:55Speaker 2: to say welcome back too. Things that aren't just for boys?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Week four?
- 35:01Speaker 2: Alrighty, I want to kick things off with a bang.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Things that aren't just for boys. Bossing a parallel park
- 35:11Speaker 2: O facts.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Can I confess something? Yeah, I confess Beth. I'm gonna
- 35:18Speaker 1: say it's because she has a very modern vehicle. But
- 35:24Speaker 1: is I'm gonna Let let's just say I'm a five
- 35:26Speaker 1: out of ten on like the parallel park scale best,
- 35:30Speaker 1: like a solid nine eight. Really, Beth, Beth would prefer
- 35:35Speaker 1: to parallel park. I'm not even kidding. Then to go
- 35:38Speaker 1: in forwards when you can, I'm actually not even It's insane.
- 35:42Speaker 1: She got taught by a driving instructor, like this crazy
- 35:45Speaker 1: way to be fair using cameras, but still like this
- 35:48Speaker 1: fucking crazy technique and this far every time, not a
- 35:52Speaker 1: scratch on the rims, speechless. We'll be in my car
- 35:58Speaker 1: the guests, Yeah, and we'll I passed one and I

- 36:19Speaker 2: Yeah, take it while I come Inie.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I never heard that, but I'll leave that with you. Okay,
- 36:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna go number two four things that I'm just
- 36:31Speaker 1: for boys m and you guess what I'm thinking mental
- 36:37Speaker 1: mental to mental unagi.
- 36:38Speaker 2: I should be able to get this and he drinks
- 36:42Speaker 2: correct Bro.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Those things they're so weird with the advertising. It's also
- 36:48Speaker 1: like dark and Marcho and all the ingredients on the back.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I wouldn't even be able to tell you what any
- 36:55Speaker 1: of them are. Yeah, it's pretty wild e. That's why
- 36:57Speaker 1: Marissa created perfect ted Healthy Energy. She didn't even have
- 37:01Speaker 1: us in mind when making them. And side note the slap,
- 37:05Speaker 1: Yeah they do slap. Did you know that they're actually
- 37:07Speaker 1: made with marcher and all natural ingredients? This apple raspberry hits.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Really I'm more of a juicy peach man myself. But
- 37:16Speaker 2: where do you get yours from? Odie?
- 37:19Speaker 1: You know Mcole's guy. So am I baddies? Time for
- 37:29Speaker 1: ig question? This week's question is he's a red flag.
- 37:34Speaker 1: But we asked you to finish this sentence and you
- 37:38Speaker 1: certainly did. Now we got a little bit of something
- 37:41Speaker 1: juicy foru. This coming Thursday, we are going to be
- 37:45Speaker 1: having on Patreon he's a green flag. But all right,
- 37:51Speaker 1: we have.

- 38:35Speaker 1: Baddi's love you. Okay, he's a red flag, but daddy,
- 38:39Speaker 1: I love him. Daddy, I love him. You can't give
- 38:43Speaker 1: it up.
- 38:45Speaker 2: That is hard, true.
- 38:47Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, once you fall in love with
- 38:49Speaker 1: someone and then you realize a red flag, you can't.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I was even going to say, when he becomes that
- 38:53Speaker 2: daddy category, it's hard not to love him anymore when
- 38:57Speaker 2: you put him in there. Okay, well he's a red flag,
- 39:02Speaker 2: but I finish every single time.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, look, I don't blame you.
- 39:10Speaker 2: I don't blame you at all, and that's rare.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so we've been told I do not blame you.
- 39:20Speaker 1: He's a red flag, but his his biceps are too big.
- 39:25Speaker 1: I can't see the flag.
- 39:29Speaker 2: That must be nice. Biceps back, I'm thinking about it
- 39:33Speaker 2: forearm veins. How big is big enough.
- 39:37Speaker 1: For like biceps?
- 39:39Speaker 2: Yeah? And what a girls like? Do I like the
- 39:42Speaker 2: lean look or because if you're holding a bit of
- 39:44Speaker 2: fat and it's around the stomach, you don't see it.
- 39:46Speaker 2: A shirt on the biceps look way bigger than they are.
- 39:48Speaker 1: It's pretty juicy. Yeah, they do less definition though, I
- 39:51Speaker 1: feel like, think about the definition.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Well, they say the dadbod even though it's not a
- 39:55Speaker 2: dad bod, and they just prefer to be.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Able to wrap an arm around. But then they're they're
- 39:59Speaker 1: like hand feels small. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Also, what's the
- 40:07Speaker 1: verdict on tight shirts? Like do they want to see
- 40:10Speaker 1: a sleeve tight or do they want to see a
- 40:12Speaker 1: sleeve with a bit of slack? Well, I think if
- 40:15Speaker 1: you're big enough you can wear you can wear a
- 40:17Speaker 1: blue shirt and you can see the tight biceps. But
- 40:21Speaker 1: is that what is that something they would like?
- 40:23Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 40:25Speaker 2: God, I reckon I'd be a bicep man if I
- 40:28Speaker 2: was a girl.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I would be a bicep girl too.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I can appreciate him now, I can certainly appreciate a
- 40:36Speaker 1: good bicep.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Yeah, they're hard to grow. Yeah, okay, he's a red flag,
- 40:43Speaker 2: but he was my first.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that must be hard.
- 40:51Speaker 2: I feel like we were both set me in that situation.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, one hundred. Wow. Relatable. He's a red flag,
- 41:00Speaker 1: but I can fix him.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Oh no, you can't go. You can't fix him.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I have another good one like that. He's a red flag,
- 41:08Speaker 1: but I'm colorblind, so it looks green to me.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Bro I'm realizing on Love Island they're all colorblind day.
- 41:18Speaker 2: There isn't I suppose no. I would even say there's
- 41:20Speaker 2: not one oven Connor, Yeah, there's not one full green flag.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Connor is the only green flag. Yeah, the only honest,
- 41:31Speaker 1: earnest and genuine. Well is a bell. But just the men,
- 41:36Speaker 1: Connor Mick the other day. We'll talk about later.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Actually the girls are out of the men's league. Okay, yeah,
- 41:43Speaker 2: this one must be relatable. He's a red flag, but
- 41:46Speaker 2: he's hiding eight inches.
- 41:50Speaker 1: The word hiding, so fitting have to be hiding it.
- 41:55Speaker 2: He's a growing show.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Oh is that what that means?
- 41:57Speaker 2: He's a grow to show it. Also, hiding him could
- 41:59Speaker 2: just be in his pants.
- 42:00Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna say. It's like if you
- 42:01Speaker 1: have an eight inch penis, you have to hide it.
- 42:03Speaker 1: But hiding it could mean like it's small when it's soft,
- 42:06Speaker 1: but when it's big. Yeah, he's hiding eight inches. Eight
- 42:09Speaker 1: inches is actually two big? That's not real, can't be
- 42:13Speaker 1: Yeah no, she means thick as this can she means five?
- 42:17Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 42:17Speaker 1: Yeah, she's thinking eight centimeters. Yeah, girl, I'll get your
- 42:21Speaker 1: metric systems confusing, will give you that he's a red flag.
- 42:29Speaker 1: But I'm at the gym and ovulating.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Gym crushes do go Harday, there's something about like for
- 42:37Speaker 2: some reason, like I remember when I was single, seeing
- 42:39Speaker 2: the same person over and over again, you start to
- 42:42Speaker 2: build in your head.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Like are you meant to be together?
- 42:44Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 42:45Speaker 1: What's for the same sketch?
- 42:46Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 42:47Speaker 1: You get there on a day where you go in
- 42:48Speaker 1: twelve hours like you usually go like let's say ten
- 42:51Speaker 1: am or something. One day you just got five pm.
- 42:54Speaker 1: They're there. Yeah, we have the same schedule. What else
- 42:57Speaker 1: do we have in copy? Yeah?
- 43:00Speaker 2: Okay, this one he's a red flag but he doesn't
- 43:04Speaker 2: live with his mom. Wow.
- 43:07Speaker 1: The bar is low, Oh my god, the bar low. Wow,
- 43:14Speaker 1: you're lucky you're not a red flag.
- 43:15Speaker 2: I guess, yeah, maybe you are. I don't know. Maybe
- 43:18Speaker 2: in Cassie's colored line, if you have a good relationship
- 43:21Speaker 2: with your mum and it's not smothering, it's not.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Ah, he's a he's a red flag, but he's the
- 43:32Speaker 1: most powerful high lord in Printhian's history.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I had one he's a red flag, but he's fictional,
- 43:37Speaker 2: so who cares.
- 43:38Speaker 1: He's a red flag, but he has a large wingspan.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Oh, I feel like the wingspan is the equivalent of
- 43:45Speaker 2: having eight inches.
- 43:46Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and really that's how they measure and asuals.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Wingspan is pretty large, apparent.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Lou, I know, I'd like to see he's a red flag,
- 43:56Speaker 2: but his pecks make me forget it.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Oh, not much chat about girls being a peck like
- 44:03Speaker 1: peck girl, it's always biceps. The girls like a peck
- 44:08Speaker 1: they must.
- 44:10Speaker 2: But also is it like competition?
- 44:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I could be.
- 44:16Speaker 2: I wish I was in competition. I got bad genetics.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I remember when I was a kid and I discovered
- 44:22Speaker 1: like what I think. I was watching the Journey to
- 44:26Speaker 1: the Center of the Earth. Good movie, but it was
- 44:29Speaker 1: the second one. Oh, so it was just called like
- 44:32Speaker 1: Journey to the Something Island. Maybe with The Rock.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 44:37Speaker 1: So The Rock is now dating what's his name? He
- 44:43Speaker 1: plays Peter Malark in Hunger Games. Josh Hutchison. Oh yeah,
- 44:46Speaker 1: he's He's playing Josh Hutchinson's stepdad. And for some reason
- 44:50Speaker 1: they have to go to this journey on a rental
- 44:51Speaker 1: random Aislem, Magical Island or whatever, and there's a girl
- 44:54Speaker 1: there that they're trapped with, and Josh Hutchinson obviously has
- 44:56Speaker 1: a big crush on her, and the Rocks like, you
- 44:59Speaker 1: know how I go, your mum did the peckl Yeah,
- 45:02Speaker 1: I remember the peck flex and he's like doing these
- 45:04Speaker 1: like peck flexes, and I was like, holy shit, Like
- 45:06Speaker 1: what is he doing? That looks sick. Bro. He's like,
- 45:08Speaker 1: throw a blue Beard at it, Go throw a berry
- 45:10Speaker 1: at it. He throws one, pops it off his peck
- 45:13Speaker 1: right back at Josh Hutcheson's face. Bro, And I was like,
- 45:15Speaker 1: I was like, I remember so vividly being a kid
- 45:20Speaker 1: taking off my shirt in the mirror and just full
- 45:23Speaker 1: concentration trying to like flex my pecks.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Nothing happened. I could do one, but it's also like
- 45:28Speaker 2: the top of my shoulder and I can't do the other.
- 45:30Speaker 1: I can't do it still is it?
- 45:33Speaker 2: But I also don't think it has that effect at all.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Steroids. Yeah, okay, this is my last one. He's a
- 45:44Speaker 1: red flag, but lucky. Red is my favorite color.
- 45:47Speaker 2: I feel like it is at certain point, at certain
- 45:51Speaker 2: points in different people's lives, red is what they need.
- 45:54Speaker 2: I think red is what they want.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Red is what they.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Maybe need, is good they desire because you need to
- 46:03Speaker 2: go through a couple of reds to realize the greens
- 46:05Speaker 2: are green because the grass is always green, and eight
- 46:08Speaker 2: inches only last too long, like so long, and also
- 46:12Speaker 2: the novelty of eight inches must wear off pretty quick. Yeah, yea, yeah,
- 46:15Speaker 2: we'll keep real. Yeah, like, come on, my last one,
- 46:19Speaker 2: he's a red flag. But that tongue, really a tongue
- 46:26Speaker 2: can do that. I reckon it could look at Kyle
- 46:30Speaker 2: and love other Yeah.
- 46:32Speaker 8: Yeah, God, oh god, I've been I've come up with
- 46:43Speaker 8: a new insult for Beth.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Insult, and there could just be an insult for anyone.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I suppose anyone does anything. Maybe they do something. Lately
- 46:52Speaker 1: I've been saying to Beth, I'm like, that's giving Kai.
- 46:58Speaker 2: A stab in the heartday and yeah it hurts, Yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 2: it does.

- 47:30Speaker 1: to do is go to Patreon. Sign up five dollars
- 47:33Speaker 1: a month and a lot less in there. Agreed, Now
- 47:39Speaker 1: let me let me go. I am twenty four and
- 47:42Speaker 1: about to be involved in another ex's wedding. For more information.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Two years ago, I was a bride'smaid in my ex
- 47:51Speaker 1: of three years wedding. He ended up marrying what he
- 47:55Speaker 1: ended up marrying my best friend. This year, my other
- 48:00Speaker 1: ex got engaged. We have been broken up for two years,
- 48:04Speaker 1: but are in no way on talking terms. I am, however,
- 48:09Speaker 1: good friends with his fiance, who I introduced him to
- 48:14Speaker 1: while we were still dating. She recently asked me to
- 48:17Speaker 1: help make food for their wedding. I am now sorry.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I am at a point where I just have no
- 48:24Speaker 1: feelings towards the situation, even though I know it sucks.
- 48:27Speaker 1: I guess my dilemma is should I go forward? With
- 48:30Speaker 1: helping with the wedding, even though I have had a
- 48:32Speaker 1: lot of feelings of bitterness. For context, we all go
- 48:36Speaker 1: to the same church in the Midwest, which means all
- 48:39Speaker 1: of them got married at twenty one or twenty two.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I would also not consider either of them the one
- 48:44Speaker 1: that got away. I did break up with them for
- 48:46Speaker 1: a reason. It still hurts, though.
- 48:49Speaker 2: That's good that you're the one who broke up with them.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Tricky situation.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Girl, fucking' know. Oh wow, both of those exes shot
- 48:59Speaker 1: you in the art?
- 49:01Speaker 2: Yeah, what the hell's with that? So you broke up
- 49:03Speaker 2: with them, and then they're like, oh, what's the closest
- 49:04Speaker 2: thing I can go stick my will again?
- 49:06Speaker 1: Fuck? But yeah, i'd say, and they're to blame. That's
- 49:09Speaker 1: not your friends too.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Yeah, your friends because they respect that that's your ex.
- 49:13Speaker 2: That's when you know they're a shit friends. I wouldn't go, Yeah,
- 49:16Speaker 2: fuck that dude.
- 49:17Speaker 1: They give love a bad name, bad juju.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Yeah, the fact that they're getting with your ex at all.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Is there an acceptable amount of time where you can
- 49:27Speaker 2: get with your friends X? I say no, always off limits?
- 49:31Speaker 1: I always I think I say off limits too.
- 49:33Speaker 2: And also, you should be talking shit about your ex
- 49:35Speaker 2: to your friends of why you broke up with them?
- 49:37Speaker 2: Why would they want that?
- 49:38Speaker 1: It's fucking insane that your first one you went to,
- 49:41Speaker 1: right where'd you go?
- 49:42Speaker 5: Is like.
- 49:45Speaker 1: You're a very understanding person, Like your best friend ends
- 49:50Speaker 1: up with your ex boyfriend and then she still says,
- 49:53Speaker 1: can you be a bride'smaid?
- 49:55Speaker 2: Yeah? The nerve on that girl a I would have ruined.
- 50:00Speaker 1: They're weady.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Also, yeah, do you have enough friends to not talk
- 50:02Speaker 2: to them anymore?
- 50:03Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, what's this situation? What's what's all this about? Like?
- 50:05Speaker 1: How small is your community?
- 50:06Speaker 2: She said, the in the Midwest? What does that mean?
- 50:10Speaker 1: The Midwest is a pretty broad area, Like the Midwest
- 50:13Speaker 1: is obviously America, because I love to talk about like Midwest,
- 50:17Speaker 1: so our South like that. We don't really we just
- 50:21Speaker 1: say states here. Yeah, I say, be the bigger person
- 50:24Speaker 1: and go or don't go?
- 50:27Speaker 2: Is that being the bigger person if you put yourself
- 50:29Speaker 2: first and don't rs VP and don't.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Go at all, it's been the biggest person for yourself.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Just insane to me that they're even asking the light
- 50:37Speaker 1: I mean to be okay, I don't know.
- 50:38Speaker 2: I guess it's like maybe they think you don't care.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Maybe they think you don't care, and for all we know,
- 50:44Speaker 1: she's given blessings.
- 50:46Speaker 2: And also it's kind of like, haha, you know he's
- 50:49Speaker 2: a shipman and they're marrying.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Like tough thing about this. So let me think about this.
- 50:57Speaker 1: If you just so happened to strike something up with
- 51:03Speaker 1: one of my exes, wait, no it's not. Actually no
- 51:06Speaker 1: one of them was was her best friend. So like,
- 51:09Speaker 1: here's the thing, is like I.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Couldn't look you in the eye.
- 51:12Speaker 1: No, I know, I know, I know. Let's just say
- 51:13Speaker 1: you could.
- 51:14Speaker 2: All right, guys who.
- 51:19Speaker 1: So let's just say you could. Like I actually don't
- 51:22Speaker 1: think I would want to not go to your wedding
- 51:24Speaker 1: because of that, because I am over the ex in question,
- 51:29Speaker 1: even though let's say didn't end great.
- 51:32Speaker 2: I think it's crazy. Is it different for girls? Because
- 51:34Speaker 2: like say, for some reason your ex hit your ex
- 51:40Speaker 2: hit me up, and I went on a couple of
- 51:42Speaker 2: dates and we were about to get down and nearly
- 51:43Speaker 2: just died. Yeah, we were about to get down and dirty.
- 51:48Speaker 2: I would think of you. Yeah, I would be like
- 51:52Speaker 2: fuck Jake spy here, and I feel like I don't.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Want to do this.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:56Speaker 1: All there's like there's like, there's one cent that I
- 52:00Speaker 1: need to say to you to get you out of
- 52:02Speaker 1: that relationship. When you when you come clean and tell
- 52:05Speaker 1: me like, this is how fucking bad men are, right,
- 52:08Speaker 1: it's our stupid Menna. You give my ex you come,
- 52:12Speaker 1: you work up the coach to tell me and you
- 52:14Speaker 1: I just want to let you know, like, I just
- 52:15Speaker 1: want to be honest and stuff. I really like x
- 52:17Speaker 1: y ZB and I go, ah, so you like sloppy seconds.
- 52:21Speaker 1: That's the only thing I have to say for it
- 52:23Speaker 1: to be ruined.
- 52:25Speaker 2: It would be ruined, and I would I'm the tup
- 52:27Speaker 2: of person already protested that. Yeah, that wouldn't be looking
- 52:30Speaker 2: for that.
- 52:31Speaker 1: We said, don't go fuck that. Okay.
- 52:36Speaker 2: My dilemma how to get over someone you thought was
- 52:40Speaker 2: your end game? Hey, Jake and Oddie. Two weeks ago,
- 52:45Speaker 2: my relationship of three point five years ended. I got
- 52:49Speaker 2: broken up with and had no idea it was coming.
- 52:54Speaker 2: There were no warning signs. He was still telling me
- 52:57Speaker 2: how much he loved me every single day until he
- 53:00Speaker 2: called me in brackets. We were doing long distance when
- 53:03Speaker 2: he did it and said he doesn't see a future
- 53:06Speaker 2: with me and doesn't see himself having.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Kids with me. So he's done.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Fuck, that's cut throat out.
- 53:12Speaker 1: It's fucking heavy.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Yeah, now that my quote, rose colored glasses are off.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I know it wasn't the best relationship ever, and I
- 53:21Speaker 2: did deserve to be treated better. But I'm twenty one
- 53:24Speaker 2: and he was my first everything. Oh and I don't
- 53:28Speaker 2: even know what to do. We talked about our future
- 53:31Speaker 2: together all the time, and now I'm just alone. To
- 53:34Speaker 2: make matters worse. We're family friends, so I'll still see
- 53:37Speaker 2: his family a lot. Any tips or tricks on how
- 53:40Speaker 2: to get over someone and heal from this, Thanks so much,
- 53:43Speaker 2: love you boys.
- 53:44Speaker 1: At This is going to make me feel amazing saying this,
- 53:47Speaker 1: but I've never actually been able to say this about
- 53:49Speaker 1: any situation. But girl, you just had the rug completely
- 53:54Speaker 1: pulled out from underneath you.
- 53:56Speaker 2: You have.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, sorry to make myself feel good about your
- 54:00Speaker 1: bad situation, but you've given me the I got to
- 54:02Speaker 1: say a saying.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Is it called a phrase drug pulled? Is that the
- 54:05Speaker 2: saying you got?
- 54:06Speaker 1: You've been rug pulled? But like rug pulling is like
- 54:08Speaker 1: a crypto turn.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Okay, don't take that.
- 54:11Speaker 1: The famous people will go here's my crypto. Buy it.
- 54:14Speaker 1: People buy it, and they sell all of theirs just
- 54:17Speaker 1: get profits and then the coin plummets and it's illegal.
- 54:19Speaker 2: And they rug pulled because no one saw it coming,
- 54:21Speaker 2: which is exactly rug pulled.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Rug pulled crypto boys. Oh should be.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Creaty my check my crypto. No, no, let's help this, baddie.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay, break up. So no, genuinely though, you've
- 54:32Speaker 1: had like this plan that you've seen for your life
- 54:34Speaker 1: with someone and it has been just taken, taken without
- 54:38Speaker 1: any you, You have no say, and so you are
- 54:41Speaker 1: probably spiraling fair very difficult.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Wow, I think, Yeah, what you're going through is really
- 54:48Speaker 2: really hard, and it's so hard when all you've ever
- 54:50Speaker 2: known for the past three and a half years is
- 54:52Speaker 2: talking to this guy. Now he's just not there, and
- 54:54Speaker 2: like it's all your brain consumes, and when it's gone
- 54:57Speaker 2: your brain it's kind of like an addiction in a sense.
- 54:58Speaker 2: It's all your brain can think about all day, every day.
- 55:01Speaker 2: When you're a free second, you're like, oh, oh, or
- 55:05Speaker 2: and I guess we've talked about it, but before it's cliche.
- 55:08Speaker 2: But time does heal all And it's very very cliche,
- 55:12Speaker 2: and you'll probably like shut up, I know, yeah, but
- 55:16Speaker 2: one day it will all just click, and those thoughts
- 55:19Speaker 2: that you're always having about him, You'll last twelve hours,
- 55:22Speaker 2: You'll last a day without thinking about it, you'll last
- 55:24Speaker 2: two days about thinking about it. It'll get to a
- 55:26Speaker 2: week and you're like, fuck, I don't think about him
- 55:28Speaker 2: for a whole week. Yeah, and then it slowly snowballs
- 55:31Speaker 2: into a month and then two months and you're like wow,
- 55:34Speaker 2: and it's your healing journey and everyone's different and you
- 55:36Speaker 2: can distract yourself, you can get under other people, you
- 55:39Speaker 2: can start going to the gym, you can concentrate on things,
- 55:41Speaker 2: and everyone's healing journey is different. But I think it's cliche,
- 55:46Speaker 2: but it works. Time heals all. You're not going to
- 55:48Speaker 2: get over a three and night. Jake said it before
- 55:50Speaker 2: half the time you're with him is how long it
- 55:51Speaker 2: will take to get over them.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good little rule of thumb that I
- 55:55Speaker 1: just have seen it once and then being like actually
- 55:57Speaker 1: thinking back, like it did take me. I had a
- 56:00Speaker 1: three year relationship that ended in a way where I
- 56:03Speaker 1: was like broken hearted, and it took me a fucking
- 56:05Speaker 1: year and a half to be one hundred percent sweet.
- 56:08Speaker 1: And you probably don't hear that because it sounds like
- 56:10Speaker 1: a long time, which it is a year and a
- 56:12Speaker 1: half's long time for you. It might be a year
- 56:14Speaker 1: and a half, could be a year, could be fucking
- 56:15Speaker 1: six months. You don't know. Everyone is different. A good
- 56:17Speaker 1: rule of thumb is about a year and a half.
- 56:19Speaker 1: But I would say I'm trying to think, like from
- 56:22Speaker 1: past experience, I would say the best thing you can
- 56:25Speaker 1: do is start to try new things so you can
- 56:32Speaker 1: still do the things you like to do. But a
- 56:34Speaker 1: lot of the time, the things you enjoy doing are
- 56:36Speaker 1: going to remind you of said person.
- 56:37Speaker 2: I remember when I broke up with my ex. Her car.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Whenever I saw it, I was like, fuck you yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 56:43Speaker 2: her exact cars. She had a whole an Astra. Yeah.
- 56:45Speaker 2: I was like, fuck you, dude.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Same for me, same exact thing. You see that type
- 56:51Speaker 1: of car and you're like, fuck off, fuck off. But
- 56:55Speaker 1: so yeah, I would say, like, try new things you enjoys,
- 57:00Speaker 1: not to trial some stuff. And usually once you can
- 57:03Speaker 1: try something that takes your mind off the thing, that's
- 57:06Speaker 1: when you start to have those moments where it's like,
- 57:08Speaker 1: been ten minutes, we haven't thought about them, and then
- 57:10Speaker 1: you and then and then you're like, oh wow, it's
- 57:11Speaker 1: been ten minutes and then you think about them, you're like,
- 57:13Speaker 1: fuck off, but still that ten minutes and.
- 57:16Speaker 2: We like step.
- 57:17Speaker 1: It is a step.
- 57:17Speaker 2: We always like to have a glass full perspective. And
- 57:20Speaker 2: I guess although it's very hard, it's an opportunity for
- 57:24Speaker 2: you to find out more about yourself. You're twenty one,
- 57:27Speaker 2: you're a badie. You got so much gun for you,
- 57:30Speaker 2: and you've got so much free time and brain power
- 57:33Speaker 2: that isn't going into this relationship now to focus on
- 57:36Speaker 2: yourself and focus on your goals and just do whatever
- 57:39Speaker 2: the fuck you want without anyone in your back, in
- 57:41Speaker 2: the back of your mind.
- 57:42Speaker 5: Yeah I did.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I was just like thinking back, like, fuck, you feel
- 57:46Speaker 1: so helpless. Yeah, you do. I fully forgot how helpless
- 57:49Speaker 1: you feel because thinking like right now, obviously I'm I
- 57:53Speaker 1: mean a like a healthy relationship and I'm nowhere like
- 57:57Speaker 1: I was heartbroken many years ago now, but I'm just
- 58:00Speaker 1: remembering how helpless you feel.
- 58:02Speaker 2: I feel like repetitions and routine helped me. Yeah.
- 58:05Speaker 1: One thing I was just gonna say was for me,
- 58:10Speaker 1: some I like broke down. What a heartbreak is like.
- 58:14Speaker 1: It's like you're grieving someone and you're grieving someone that's
- 58:18Speaker 1: still alive, and this person is like chosen not to
- 58:20Speaker 1: be with you anymore. So it like kind of sucks.
- 58:23Speaker 1: We're not kind of sucks. It sucks.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Ah.
- 58:26Speaker 1: And I just remember like sleep was the biggest thing.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Getting to sleep was pretty shit, but then once you
- 58:33Speaker 1: got to sleep, you were asleep. The worst fucking thing
- 58:37Speaker 1: in the world was waking up. And because sleep is
- 58:42Speaker 1: the escape, so when you wake up straight away, you're
- 58:44Speaker 1: thinking about him again and you're anxious as and so
- 58:49Speaker 1: I remember the first time I slept from like I
- 58:52Speaker 1: don't know, whenever I went to bed all the way
- 58:54Speaker 1: through the morning, I was like, oh my god, progress
- 58:58Speaker 1: because I would wake up at like too and piss,
- 59:02Speaker 1: but then be awake until like four because I was
- 59:06Speaker 1: just you just feel so helpless, Like what the fuck
- 59:08Speaker 1: am I dueling? So girl, fuck I feel you.
- 59:14Speaker 2: I think the only advice that you actually want to.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Hear is you've got this.
- 59:19Speaker 2: You've got this.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Yeah if this dude, oh you know, like the way
- 59:22Speaker 1: he'd said where he broke up with you sounds like
- 59:24Speaker 1: obviously very harsh.
- 59:26Speaker 2: I feel like you don't need to say that. I
- 59:27Speaker 2: don't see I don't know.
- 59:28Speaker 1: At the same time, it's like, like, what else do
- 59:29Speaker 1: you say like that? I feel like that was just
- 59:31Speaker 1: kind of mean.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like you just say I don't see
- 59:34Speaker 2: a future with you anymore.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Was that too mean to I don't know. At the
- 59:36Speaker 1: same time, it's you know, you want people to be honest.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but I feel like the baby's thing. You can
- 59:41Speaker 2: just be left out, ignorance is blissed.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Yeah, true, it's kind of it does seem harsh. But
- 59:46Speaker 1: what's a good way to break up with someone?
- 59:48Speaker 2: I think just I've been thinking I don't see a
- 59:51Speaker 2: future with you. I think covers everything. It does, Yeah,
- 59:54Speaker 2: rather than putting it on yourself and saying I need
- 59:56Speaker 2: time to focus on myself.
- 59:57Speaker 1: But boom, and he's and he's also like, you could
- 59:59Speaker 1: say I I just don't see a future with you anymore,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: and then you're right like that that full stop everything
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: is said with that one sentence, because what he's done
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: is I don't see the future with you. And then
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: he goes, yeah, I don't see marriage with you, I
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: don't see.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Kids with you.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: It's like he's rubbed it in. It's like, okay, come on, yeah,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I know what future me.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm bleeding out and you just fucking stabbed me
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: a couple of times. Yeah, shank, twist, twist again. Jeezus
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: bad is to finish the episode. As we mentioned, we
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: have their email responses to reiterate. I will read the
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: email we sent them and we'll get to Grace in
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Sarah's responses. I got a little bit of a brief
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: before and they did good.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: The subject was draft a friendly reminder email about the
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: lunch thief. We said, Hi, Baddie, hope you're doing great today.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I have a quick task that I would like your
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: help with. Could you draft a short company wilde email
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: that reminds everyone about not stealing anyone's lunches. We've noticed
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: a bit of a reoccurring lunch thief situation in the
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: staff lounge and we'd like to address it with a
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: friendly tone. Feel free to add a touch of humor
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: if you think it will land well, but the main
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: goal is just a polite node so everyone is a
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: bit more mindful. Thanks a ton for handling this, and
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: I have Grace who was working with the our packers. Yes, hey,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: or I would just like to address the rumor of
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: the lunch thief at our youth shows. I don't want
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: to be sharing my greasy dagwood dog with you, and
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: you wouldn't want to share it with me. Let alone
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: cootie sharing a cold lemonade at a hot summer's show.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: If you keep stealing food, I will be putting food
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: covered in our packer spit in the lunch room. Smiley face,
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: vomit emoji. Kind regards. Grace, Vice President, New South Wales Youth,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: our packer youth.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Let's go, I like that.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: That's intimidating. I don't know what dagwood is dagwood dog.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I'm sure some sort of like cot dog or something.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I don't know. Go Grace, Okay, God, Sarah, Okay, all right,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: we all remember Sarah, I assure. She says, Hey, team,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I'd love to bring to everyone's attention the recent problem
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: plaguing this workplace. Some would call the sandwich stealer. Sorry.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Some would call them the sandwich steeler, others the lunch
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: box bandit. However, I will be naming them the downright
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: disgraceful lunchtime destroyer, as someone who spends each morning holding
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: out for their midnight for their mid day snack. The
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: fact we have been having thefts of our workplace lunches
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: is disappointing. Please can we stop with the lunch thefts.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I'm happy to provide some easy meat, I prep suggestions
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to those who may be lacking on time, but I
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: will not continue to unwillingly provide my lunch on behalf
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: of the other staff also losing their lunches. We would
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: greatly appreciate this behavior. To spot this behavior to stop.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Despite the jokes, it really isn't funny to lose a lunch.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Kind regards Sarah Matthews, a lost lunch victim. Oh at
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: the end.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Day, Oh, I don't know how I feel about it.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: I don't know. Baddies, it's up to you. Okay, So baddies,
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: you know what to do. Comment Grace or Sarah below
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: to see who's moving on to the finale, and baddies,
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: there's no comments or baddies sign off today because this
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: episode's been a little bit different. Let us know if
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: you loved it, please, but we love you.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Stay bad
