  Tuesday morning everybody and it's not a happy Tuesday

  morning. These days are are not good

  lately. It's very hard to be happy when

  you have the Greg Biffle plane wreck and lost so many, so many

  people. And then Denny Hamlin's mom and

  dad, Dennis Hamlin, lost his life.

  Denny's mother, Mary Lou is fighting for her life in the
• 0:38
  hospital. They had a horrible fire that
• 0:45
  literally burnt that home all the way down.
• 0:50
  And once again, we're in a situation where everybody's
• 0:53
  going to say what happened, why did this fire happened?
• 0:59
  I think that's secondary right now.
• 1:03
  My guess is it's cold temperatures outside.
• 1:06
  And you know, it's it's a tough time right now.

  And there's no telling what happened.

  There'll be time for that later to find out why the fire

  happened. But my prayers to Mary Lou right

  now, fighting for her life. I can only imagine the pain

  she's in. I feel really bad for Denny

  Hamlin and his wife Jordan. The children, I'm sure they're
• 1:38
  used to being with grandma and grandpa and knowing that the
• 1:41
  whole family, everybody, they're all going through this.

  I was thinking last night about the tragedies, the the enormous
• 1:52
  amount of tragedies in NASCAR. Now we are a big family.

  You know, I look back and I think of Davey Allison dying in

  the helicopter. I think of Alan Kwiki wrecking
• 2:10
  in that airplane. I think of the complete Hendrick
• 2:16
  family wrecking on their way to Martinsville.

  Biffle, Greg Biffle and all those, those other people on
• 2:27
  board that plane and and now so close in succession.

  So this is a very strange time. I don't remember a time like

  this in a long time where it just won't stop.

  Not sure what's going on. I just think we're in a we're in
• 2:51
  a bad time right now. I feel like, you know, after the
• 2:55
  race season was over. I mean, this is the way I feel.

  This is this is the way I feel. I feel like once, you know, once

  Kyle Larson won the championship at Phoenix, it feels like

  everything is just, you know, been rough.

  I'm ready for it all then I can tell you that I, I'm ready for

  it all in just a really tough time right now.

  So my prayers to everybody and everything.

  Just a really bad time. OK, shake it off.

  Tough times complete different subject now.

  Really excited, really happy on this other side of life now.

  That's what we got to do. We got to my daughters, said

  daughters that is coming up pretty soon.

  It it'll come up when the new year comes in, it will be the

  first Kenny conversation with our three daughters.

  Everybody wants to know from my children what what the NASCAR

  life was like. So our three daughters for the

  first time ever, what is it like through the eyes of our

  daughters in NASCAR? So look for that.

  But my daughters said to me during the conversation, they

  said, dad, you are the best at compartmentalizing.

  I told my daughters. I said compartmentalizing my

  brain is my defense mechanism. If you don't, you know, if you

  don't, if you don't compartmentalize it, it means
• 4:53
  like over here is a sad space, you know, with Craig Biffle,
• 4:58
  plane wreck, Denny Hamlin's, you know, losing Dennis's father

  that that's right here. Then over here is, you know, my

  other life and over here, I mean, I, I got so much on my
• 5:12
  mind right now. You know, we got so many things
• 5:17
  coming up. You know, I'm going to the Chili
• 5:20
  Bowl in the middle of January. I'm going to race, I'm going to
• 5:24
  race the dirt car for Nick Hoffman January 27th, 28th, 29th
• 5:30
  in Volusia. Kim and I are are going to
• 5:34
  winter in Yellowstone. February 9th, you know, then we
• 5:42
  start trackside live again. That's going to be another
• 5:45
  announcement. I'm going to Europe in March.

  So this is what I mean. You know, when when my daughter
• 5:54
  say, dad, you can, you can go compartmentalize.
• 5:58
  You can't have when when you lose a life, you can't, you

  cannot. I now I feel so bad for Denny

  and Jordan and the children that's going to take up their
• 6:12
  whole space. But for somebody like me on the
• 6:15
  sidelines, I got to be able to live life.

  So I am excited that Mark Martin is going to have the Mark Martin
• 6:28
  Archive show, mark the Mark Martin show on the Kenny Wallace

  media platform. We we announced that yesterday.

  And I like what Mark Martin said.

  Now I do want to explain is, you know, it all started and Mark

  says it. If you go over there and listen

  to him, Mark did a 30 minute show with Charlie Marlow.

  He says, you know, I got a lot to say and you know, we got a

  book coming out and it just seemed like the time was right.

  So I'm super excited for Mark Martin and Matt Martin, his son

  to have his own show on the Kenny Wallace platform.

  Mark's going to do his own deal over there on our platform and

  I'm super excited for him and I want to hear what he has to say.

  Rick Mast will be on standby when Mark and Matt can't do it

  and they're busy, but I'm excited to hear what he has to

  say. So they'll be more about that

  and they're going to sharp start their show in the in the in the

  new year, just like everybody else.
