- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I need you to think about 2028 for a moment.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I know we're closing out 2025, but this is important if you're a business owner or an entrepreneur or somebody that's trying to rank online.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Right now we still live in a Google-dominated world, but that's changing fast.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And it's a tectonic plate shift for all of us in the demand generation.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: And by 2028, the majority of Answer Engine traffic is predicted to come not from Google, but ChatGPT.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Maybe that's a little bit self-interested by them, but we're seeing that things are definitely changing.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Google has been the undisputed traffic overlord of the past 20 years.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: It's no longer number one, just asn't a threat.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: It's the biggest opportunity yet.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Because traditional educational content is being siphoned away.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: AI overviews are often having click-through rates and keeping people on Google.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: That's exactly why we at my AI agency pivoted our entire focus to answer engine optimization or AEO.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: To win in this new era, you have to understand two things about how the AI thinks query, fan out, and memory.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: These are the both of these things, are these.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: When someone asks a question, the AI breaks into highly specific sub-questions, like bars in Los Angeles that don't charge$22 for a martini.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: And then it synthesizes the answers.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: The response is also incredibly personalized based on the user's history and files, which we saw a little bit as you're logged in from your particular Google account doing a search on Google.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Now it's really going to be specific.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: This means our content strategy must change fundamentally.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Stop publishing the ultimate guide to everything.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: We need to create laser-focused pieces that answer the exact specific question your buyer is asking.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: For every one 101 guide you used to write, you now need to create 10 laser-focused pieces.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Once you have those questions, which you find by mining keyword tools, social platforms, using things like Reddit and sales calls, you must structure the page for what is essentially a lazy reader.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: We implement these tactics every day on sites like Santa Clarita Artificial Intelligence.com.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Check out that blog and you'll see.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: I want you to remember these three crucial technical tactics.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Number one, put the answer first.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: The very first sentence of your page must completely and clearly answer the user's primary question for quick validation.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I like to use a TLDR.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Too long didn't read.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Number two, add structure up the wazoo.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Answer engines read in passages or chunks to avoid walls of text.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Use bullets, tables, and super explicit headers so the AI can easily lift the content from the page.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Number three, and most importantly, you need to tie every point back to the product.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: If you simply give the answer engine great educational content, you're making it smarter without reinforcing why they should recommend you.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Include a product reference in every or every other paragraph.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Building authority through mentions, the final pillar is authority, and here the rules have completely changed.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Answer engines don't care primarily about backlinks, they care about mentions.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: We need to gain positive brand shout-outs on the websites that AI is already citing in its answers.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: This means leveraging social proof and review platforms because AI loves user-generated content or UGC.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: The goal of my agency is that when AI models look around to decide what to recommend, they keep bumping into our brand in authoritative, high-context mentions.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: If you can only pick one place to start, focus on identifying the AI citations that you can influence.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: The results of embracing AEO are dramatic.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: We've seen that demand generated through this focus has gone up nearly 1,500 to 2,000%.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: And that's for Santa Clarita Artificial Intelligence.com.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: This is why traffic is so valuable because buyers who use AI arrive at vendor websites far more informed with greater conviction and convert at more than three times the traditional rate.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: The strategy you execute today on your site or looking at Santa Clarita Artificial Intelligence.com will determine whether your business is winning as we get closer to 2028.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Now, as far as looking at these different AI models, people are saying, well, Google's going to lose.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: OpenAI is going to win.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of guessing as to who's going to be in the lead, not even mentioning Grok or Meta.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: Everybody is pushing fast towards this final goal of moving into artificial superintelligence.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: The problem is once we get there, it's not going to be very long before we see a major shift in the world and the way that it works.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: But until we get to that point, everybody's still trying to find their sea legs, if you will.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: So when you start to publish content, the next time you're going to write a blog post or an article or even a social media update, the things that I tell my clients is you really want to start getting into the QA and answering questions.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Now it used to be a good SEO blog post was going to include questions and answers.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: You were going to be solving somebody's problem when you're writing the content.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: But now you have to do it much more specifically.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Now, of course, if you're a real estate agent out there and you're looking at the Zillow combining forces with open AI, you think maybe that's it, you're done in that realm and you need to move on to something else.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: That's not the case.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Zillow is powerful and Zillow's gonna have a lot of AI stuff, but Zillow isn't going to be everywhere you're going to be in your voice.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Zillow might dial it up and be perfect for everybody, but in essence, everybody that's on Zillow isn't going to be perfect for people that are in the market looking to buy or sell something.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Maybe your brand will be.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: So that's why you need to at least make an effort to start to publish content that's going to fall into these AEO or these answer engine optimized formats.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: There's ways you can look for things like what people are searching for.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: I know that there's keyword research.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: You can look at Webmaster tools, you can use some keyword identifiers out there.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Lots of different sites still offer that.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: And that's important for now to gather the necessary keywords that you should be focusing on.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: And I only say that because right now we just don't have the data from these large, large language models that we can research and find out how people are using them to search.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: But within short order, if they make that data available for the public, which maybe they won't because data's money, they might hold on to it, not share it with any other large language models, period.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: So they might actually hold it, keep it proprietary because they haven't yet started to really monetize the results that they're giving.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: And that's going to change the game yet again.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Like Google at the very beginning was a very simple just go search yourself type engine.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: But after a while, you start to see ads pop up, sponsored results pop up.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: And now when you go to Google and you're searching for insurance or a locksmith or a real estate agent, you have a ton of sponsored content published at the site before you actually get to the organic stuff.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: AI is now just reframe that yet again because now it's looking for answers.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: And when it publicizes results, when you're asking about a certain query, it's not just based on the way everybody's searching, it's based on the way you are searching.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: What is your interaction like?
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: What is your personality like?
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: What questions are you answering or asking on the different social media platforms?
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: It actually is going to produce content specifically for you.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: And if you're a business owner, you need to capture your fair share of the market by answering questions specifically for your clients.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Example, if you live in, let's say, the Santa Clarita Valley where I happen to live.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: In the Santa Clarita Valley, it consists of about six cities.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: You can throw Acton and Aqua Dulce into that as well.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: But the typical cities out here, usually talked about, are Castella, Canyon Country, New Hall, Sauga, Stevenson Ranch, and Valencia, generally accepted as being Santa Clarita.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: It's like Los Angeles, consists of different cities Chatsworth, Northridge, Porter Ranch, Silmar, North Hills, you get the gist.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: So these are different areas or different cities within cities.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: If you address a letter in Santa Clarita but use the correct zip code, the letter will make it where it needs to go.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: It's not necessary to mention the exact city, depending.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Los Angeles, the same thing.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: If you address a package to be sent to a property in Chatsworth, you can use that particular zip code and label it Los Angeles, not Chatsworth, and eventually the letter will probably get to where it needs to be going.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: So that's specific, that's more niche instead of saying a Los Angeles realtor, Los Angeles real estate for sale, maybe Chatsworth might be better.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Maybe Chatsworth and then give a particular geographical boundary would be better.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: The same thing if you're operating a local business.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: You want to work in those questions.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: Somebody living in Canyon Country, you own a pizza shop and they're asking for where can I buy pizza at 10:30 at night with anchovies where would be the best place to go?
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: You should have content wrapped around that if that's how people are searching for that particular piece of content.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: You can use all of those things when you're writing content to bring more people to your business, also to enable artificial intelligence to find your business a lot easier than it might if, in fact, you didn't put that together.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: Because trust me, we're right at the beginning of this.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: There's so much more to offer, so much more to happen, and realistically, so much more to learn.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: A lot changes every single day in this world.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor with Honor at Santa Clarita Artificial Intelligence.com.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: Again, niche, right?
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: I offer AI services to everywhere else too, but for one of my advertisings, for one of my modes and models, I have that.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: The main system is honorelevate.com.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: So I have then branched out and become more niche in my advertising and marketing of my AI agency to help local businesses get beyond, well, get beyond where they are.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor with Honor.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: Thanks for watching.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: Share with a friend.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: Take care.
