- 0:00Speaker 1: It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie,
- 0:03Speaker 1: and it's time right now for today's word. Breaking Free
- 0:08Speaker 1: in the Fire Daniels three twenty seven says. They saw
- 0:13Speaker 1: that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was
- 0:16Speaker 1: a hair of their heads singe. Their roles were not scorched,
- 0:20Speaker 1: and there was no smell of fire on them. And
- 0:25Speaker 1: Daniel three. Three Hebrew teenagers, Shad dried Mishek and a Betnago,
- 0:30Speaker 1: stood before King Nebukan Nazure with unshakable faith. When commanded
- 0:36Speaker 1: to bow before the golden idol, they refused, declaring that
- 0:40Speaker 1: they would worship only the living God. The king's anger
- 0:44Speaker 1: burned hotter than the furnace. He ordered them to be
- 0:47Speaker 1: thrown into bound hands and foot. They were cast into
- 0:51Speaker 1: flames that were seven times hotter than normal. But here's
- 0:57Speaker 1: the miracle. When the king looked inside, he didn't see
- 1:00Speaker 1: three men bound. He saw four men walking freely in
- 1:04Speaker 1: the fire. The ropes had been burned off, but not
- 1:07Speaker 1: a hair on their heads was singed. Not even the
- 1:11Speaker 1: smell of smoke was on them. The very fire meant
- 1:15Speaker 1: to destroy them became the fire that freed them. What
- 1:19Speaker 1: was intended to stop them, only separated them from their limitations.
- 1:24Speaker 1: They came out not weaker, but stronger. They came out
- 1:28Speaker 1: full of faith. They came out with greater confidence. They
- 1:31Speaker 1: came out with undeniable influence. See this is a picture
- 1:36Speaker 1: of how God works in our lives. Sometimes He allows
- 1:40Speaker 1: us to walk through fiery seasons, not to punish us,
- 1:43Speaker 1: but to purify us. The fire of trials can burn
- 1:46Speaker 1: away fear, in security, doubt, or unhealthy attachments. The furnace
- 1:51Speaker 1: may feel unbearable, but it's often the very place where
- 1:55Speaker 1: God sets you free from what's been holding you back.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Maybe today you're facing the fire disappointment of loss, a betrayal.
- 2:08Speaker 1: It may look like the end, but God is saying
- 2:11Speaker 1: this fire will not destroy you. It will deliver you
- 2:14Speaker 1: what the enemy meant for harm. God will use it
- 2:17Speaker 1: to lift you higher. You're coming out with greater strength,
- 2:21Speaker 1: greater faith, greater clarity about who God is and who
- 2:25Speaker 1: you are in Him. And just like those three young men,
- 2:28Speaker 1: you're not coming out smelling like smoke. You're coming out better.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Come own. Jesus Father, thank you for being with us
- 2:38Speaker 1: in the fire. Thank you that the flames of adversity
- 2:41Speaker 1: do not consume us, but it refines us. We choose
- 2:45Speaker 1: to trust that every challenge is burning off what we
- 2:47Speaker 1: don't need and preparing us for new levels of strength,
- 2:51Speaker 1: new levels of influence, and new levels of destiny. God,
- 2:54Speaker 1: we believe we're coming out better. We believe we're coming
- 2:57Speaker 1: out with greater faith and confidence in You and Jesus' name. Hey,
- 3:01Speaker 1: now that's your word for today. Take it applied to
- 3:05Speaker 1: your everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry mackew.
