• 1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:02,600 It's still really a big damage to me! 2 00:00:02,600 --> 00:00:12,600 Why not me? 3 00:00:12,600 --> 00:00:12,800 Oh! 4 00:00:12,800 --> 00:00:16,600 Welcome everybody! 5 00:00:16,600 --> 00:00:19,600 Welcome to this week's "To This To This To This To Row" show. 6 00:00:19,600 --> 00:00:24,600 Episode number 845 from April 23rd, 2026. 7 00:00:24,600 --> 00:00:29,300 Welcome to your WrestleMania 42 recap and review edition of S. 8 00:00:29,300 --> 00:00:31,900 R. T. U. 9 00:00:31,900 --> 00:00:37,200 I am on app and show I am Jeff Pek, joined every single week for my close-in-only Dr. 10 00:00:37,200 --> 00:00:38,200 Craig Franklin. 11 00:00:38,200 --> 00:00:43,700 Dr. Trey, it has been quite the journey for you and I both to watch WrestleMania, my friend. 12 00:00:43,700 --> 00:00:51,700 Oh, nothing comes easy in this life that we live when you're older, you're a parent, 13 00:00:51,700 --> 00:00:53,700 you have family. 14 00:00:53,700 --> 00:00:59,200 Like, sometimes the road seems pretty straightforward and you're like, "Okay, I can make this work 15 00:00:59,200 --> 00:01:01,200 and then life just throws you a bunch of curveballs." 16 00:01:01,200 --> 00:01:04,600 And you're like, "Oh, let's see how we can put this together." 17 00:01:04,600 --> 00:01:11,600 So, yeah, one person on vacation, one person dealing with wrestling and sickness 18 00:01:11,600 --> 00:01:14,100 and all the other fun things to go along with us. 19 00:01:14,100 --> 00:01:21,100 So it's been a very, very fun, what, 72, 96 hours for you and I? 20 00:01:21,100 --> 00:01:22,800 Yeah, it's been quite interesting. 21 00:01:22,800 --> 00:01:26,600 So we're obviously, we're going to be recording a couple days before it actually released. 22 00:01:26,600 --> 00:01:30,000 So we're doing it Tuesday night. 23 00:01:30,000 --> 00:01:31,800 So just to get it out there for all of you. 24 00:01:31,800 --> 00:01:38,500 But for me, Dr. Trey, I flew out for vacation on Saturday afternoon and thankfully the airline 25 00:01:38,500 --> 00:01:41,200 I flew out on had television. 26 00:01:41,200 --> 00:01:47,300 But it was literally, WrestleMania was beginning on ESPN 2 right when I was like legitimately 27 00:01:47,300 --> 00:01:48,800 getting off the plane. 28 00:01:48,800 --> 00:01:54,600 So I did not watch WrestleMania live until I got back to my hotel room and got settled 29 00:01:54,600 --> 00:01:58,060 in and I mean, you know this because you have kids, right? 30 00:01:58,060 --> 00:02:02,800 So traveling with children for someone who is so small and hopefully anybody else that's 31 00:02:02,800 --> 00:02:08,600 a parent can relate to this as well, they have so much stuff like so much stuff. 32 00:02:08,600 --> 00:02:16,240 I'm a stroller, luggage, snacks, food, whatever, right? 33 00:02:16,240 --> 00:02:20,120 And with normal people and air quotations, like you don't have to worry about that because 34 00:02:20,120 --> 00:02:21,400 they'll carry their own stuff. 35 00:02:21,400 --> 00:02:25,560 Well, I'm legitimately dealing with someone who will be turning two years old in two months 36 00:02:25,560 --> 00:02:28,640 that can't carry a damn thing other than his toys. 37 00:02:28,640 --> 00:02:35,680 So yeah, by the time we got settled in, it was about like 9.30 in our hotel room and where 38 00:02:35,680 --> 00:02:40,640 I'm on vacation is considered to be one of the most magical places on earth. 39 00:02:40,640 --> 00:02:48,960 And I found out, like within the last Friday night that I could watch WrestleMania on Disney 40 00:02:48,960 --> 00:02:51,960 Plus through my ESPN unlimited subscription. 41 00:02:51,960 --> 00:02:52,960 Did you know that at all? 42 00:02:52,960 --> 00:02:53,960 Was that that? 43 00:02:53,960 --> 00:02:54,960 No, that. 44 00:02:54,960 --> 00:02:55,960 See, I'm so old. 45 00:02:55,960 --> 00:02:58,120 Yeah, they bundle it all. 46 00:02:58,120 --> 00:02:59,360 It's a big bundle. 47 00:02:59,360 --> 00:03:03,760 Like if you have the Disney Plus thing in the US, it all, it's like progressive. 48 00:03:03,760 --> 00:03:05,080 It's like flow from a girl. 49 00:03:05,080 --> 00:03:06,080 You just bundle everything. 50 00:03:06,080 --> 00:03:10,060 So everything is bundled together, but it did cause. 51 00:03:10,060 --> 00:03:12,080 So I had Disney Plus. 52 00:03:12,080 --> 00:03:15,560 If you go back to this past summer when this whole thing came up, I can't bring this up. 53 00:03:15,560 --> 00:03:17,480 I'm like, I have Disney Plus. 54 00:03:17,480 --> 00:03:18,720 I should have made more money. 55 00:03:18,720 --> 00:03:23,440 No, it's actually like 15 bucks more for the unlimited package. 56 00:03:23,440 --> 00:03:26,640 But you get all of Disney, all of Hulu and all of ESPN. 57 00:03:26,640 --> 00:03:27,640 Yep, yep. 58 00:03:27,640 --> 00:03:30,920 And I was watching the ESPN, limited on my ESPN. 59 00:03:30,920 --> 00:03:32,520 Did not know I could watch it on Disney Plus. 60 00:03:32,520 --> 00:03:36,960 So thankfully where I'm staying on Disney Plus, I don't have to watch on my computer. 61 00:03:36,960 --> 00:03:41,640 It's on my television at this location, which is very, very good. 62 00:03:41,640 --> 00:03:48,640 And I did not get done watching WrestleMania night one until 1.30 in the morning. 63 00:03:48,640 --> 00:03:50,120 Sunday morning. 64 00:03:50,120 --> 00:03:51,600 And then had to be up very early. 65 00:03:51,600 --> 00:03:57,080 My son woke me up very early, about five hours later to kick off the day out and about enjoying 66 00:03:57,080 --> 00:03:58,320 family time. 67 00:03:58,320 --> 00:04:01,200 And then got back again, not too bad. 68 00:04:01,200 --> 00:04:03,440 Like I would say eight in the morning. 69 00:04:03,440 --> 00:04:08,800 Then I think, or next to me eight at night, we got back and then I turned on WrestleMania 70 00:04:08,800 --> 00:04:11,280 night two was watching it from behind. 71 00:04:11,280 --> 00:04:16,600 And I think I ended up going to bed at like 12.30 in the morning, like going through the 72 00:04:16,600 --> 00:04:18,160 commercials and all that stuff. 73 00:04:18,160 --> 00:04:22,880 And I was watching it so far late from when the show actually the live feed ended that the 74 00:04:22,880 --> 00:04:29,080 live feed would stop working like a halfway through on night two and like maybe like a quarter 75 00:04:29,080 --> 00:04:33,080 the way at night one where it was basically like, okay, you can't fast forward anymore. 76 00:04:33,080 --> 00:04:38,080 You need to get back out of the app and now watch the replay that we've put up for you. 77 00:04:38,080 --> 00:04:39,560 So that kind of delayed me a little bit. 78 00:04:39,560 --> 00:04:45,120 But I was able to watch both shows in their entirety by Monday morning. 79 00:04:45,120 --> 00:04:53,560 And then legitimately finished watching Monday night Raw today, Tuesday afternoon at the pool. 80 00:04:53,560 --> 00:04:56,600 Well, sitting there watching Netflix like a loser. 81 00:04:56,600 --> 00:04:58,800 Well, first off, I'm a ginger and I burn. 82 00:04:58,800 --> 00:05:03,080 Anyway, just headphones in, computer on my lap, watching the end of the Netflix episode. 83 00:05:03,080 --> 00:05:05,640 I think I watched like the first hour Monday night when we got back. 84 00:05:05,640 --> 00:05:10,680 But it's been a whirlwind and then pre-show talking to you, you've had the flu. 85 00:05:10,680 --> 00:05:14,400 So I mean, wow, what a run here for you and I both. 86 00:05:14,400 --> 00:05:18,480 Yeah, so Saturday night, I didn't get to watch any WrestleMania live because we were running 87 00:05:18,480 --> 00:05:20,280 Rocket City. 88 00:05:20,280 --> 00:05:23,000 And it's our go home show before wrestling con nine. 89 00:05:23,000 --> 00:05:25,040 So I got to be out there. 90 00:05:25,040 --> 00:05:31,520 Luckily, I had missed the previous two Rocket City shows. 91 00:05:31,520 --> 00:05:35,440 So they had to kind of find a fill in ring announcer. 92 00:05:35,440 --> 00:05:38,920 And the girl they brought in, she was, she's a Rocket City trainee. 93 00:05:38,920 --> 00:05:43,360 Her name is Ruby Red Slapper, which I really hate the name. 94 00:05:43,360 --> 00:05:47,120 But your god knows Mary Cole off does not pick out the best name sometimes. 95 00:05:47,120 --> 00:05:49,200 Okay, interesting. 96 00:05:49,200 --> 00:05:53,640 Yeah, because I, I mean, I went red snapper that that's what we're going with. 97 00:05:53,640 --> 00:05:55,760 No slapper like that's, that's horrible. 98 00:05:55,760 --> 00:05:57,600 We're going to change that at some point. 99 00:05:57,600 --> 00:06:01,640 But she's really good ex rugby or ex a roller derby girl. 100 00:06:01,640 --> 00:06:02,640 So she's tough. 101 00:06:02,640 --> 00:06:07,000 She, and she did a really good job and she was also keen on asking for advice. 102 00:06:07,000 --> 00:06:10,400 So when I get to the building, they're like, hey, we're going to split the ring announcing 103 00:06:10,400 --> 00:06:12,000 duties between you and Ruby. 104 00:06:12,000 --> 00:06:16,080 And I'm like, oh no, just let her do all the ring announcing. 105 00:06:16,080 --> 00:06:21,520 I'll just work commentary and then do my GM duties if, if needed. 106 00:06:21,520 --> 00:06:22,520 So that worked out really well. 107 00:06:22,520 --> 00:06:28,600 So me and Sammy Franklin didn't get back from Rocket City until about midnight Saturday. 108 00:06:28,600 --> 00:06:32,240 And then Sunday, which is the one day my wife and I usually have off together. 109 00:06:32,240 --> 00:06:34,800 We're like, hey, let's run into town, pick up some stuff for the house. 110 00:06:34,800 --> 00:06:39,760 And, you know, also, well, about three in the afternoon, I'm like, I don't feel right. 111 00:06:39,760 --> 00:06:41,560 I don't feel good. 112 00:06:41,560 --> 00:06:45,720 So we got back to the house and I just felt drained and I'm like, I'm just going to lay down 113 00:06:45,720 --> 00:06:47,680 and take a nap. 114 00:06:47,680 --> 00:06:51,000 And next thing I know, it just hit me like a wave. 115 00:06:51,000 --> 00:06:55,240 I was up running the bathroom every hour. 116 00:06:55,240 --> 00:06:57,960 I told Jeff like it was actually the best sleep. 117 00:06:57,960 --> 00:07:01,880 Other than having to jump up and run to the bathroom, it was the best sleep I probably had 118 00:07:01,880 --> 00:07:03,280 like five years. 119 00:07:03,280 --> 00:07:07,640 Like, it was like, and on the pillow, I'm out. 120 00:07:07,640 --> 00:07:10,800 Like you ever had those sleeves where it was so deep you wake up and you're like, man, 121 00:07:10,800 --> 00:07:11,800 is that like four hours? 122 00:07:11,800 --> 00:07:14,280 You look at the clock and you're like, it was 90 minutes. 123 00:07:14,280 --> 00:07:15,280 That was it. 124 00:07:15,280 --> 00:07:16,280 Yes. 125 00:07:16,280 --> 00:07:18,880 Like just really deep sleep right away. 126 00:07:18,880 --> 00:07:21,840 And you're just like, all right, this is weird. 127 00:07:21,840 --> 00:07:29,680 I missed all of WrestleMania because this, I was telling Jeff off air. 128 00:07:29,680 --> 00:07:36,640 I did not really wake up from all of this until 630 Monday morning because I had to think 129 00:07:36,640 --> 00:07:38,200 Sam didn't school. 130 00:07:38,200 --> 00:07:39,440 I took Sam into school. 131 00:07:39,440 --> 00:07:45,240 I canceled all my work appointments, came back to the house, went back to sleep, didn't wake 132 00:07:45,240 --> 00:07:50,400 up until 2 o'clock when it was time to go get him from school, and then have been struggling 133 00:07:50,400 --> 00:07:57,680 to catch up on everything that's happened in the last like legitimately 24 hours. 134 00:07:57,680 --> 00:07:59,440 I'm trying to catch up on everything. 135 00:07:59,440 --> 00:08:05,760 So as we review the show, I am going to, I've watched all of night one and watched Monday 136 00:08:05,760 --> 00:08:08,800 and I have not watched all of night two. 137 00:08:08,800 --> 00:08:12,720 So I will lean on Jeff for some of the reviews of the matches on this. 138 00:08:12,720 --> 00:08:18,400 I'm going to base some of myself just off common sense knowledge of the wrestling business. 139 00:08:18,400 --> 00:08:23,400 But if anybody wants my actual in-depth analysis of night two, give me a day. 140 00:08:23,400 --> 00:08:28,120 It just hit me up on the Twitter, the X, the Facebook, whatever, and I'll give you my in-depth 141 00:08:28,120 --> 00:08:29,120 analysis. 142 00:08:29,120 --> 00:08:30,440 I don't think anybody will though. 143 00:08:30,440 --> 00:08:32,240 Yeah, no, this is, it's been fun. 144 00:08:32,240 --> 00:08:33,480 This is a wild WrestleMania. 145 00:08:33,480 --> 00:08:37,400 We're on it typically, you know, Dr. Trey, you'd have a couple more days to get caught up, 146 00:08:37,400 --> 00:08:42,920 but since things are going to be wild for me on my vacation here pretty soon, I appreciate 147 00:08:42,920 --> 00:08:46,640 you taking the time out to recap everything. 148 00:08:46,640 --> 00:08:53,440 I'm going to say, I am very impressed that you took a family vacation down to Florida, 149 00:08:53,440 --> 00:08:55,240 just so you take a look to a strip club. 150 00:08:55,240 --> 00:09:01,160 I don't know where else in Florida, the magical place to visit, other than, oh, there was 151 00:09:01,160 --> 00:09:08,200 a famous strip club that Bubba the Love Sponge used to go to in Tampa, actually. 152 00:09:08,200 --> 00:09:12,240 But I mean, Hogan's Beach Shop, I mean, that might be another place you could take him to, 153 00:09:12,240 --> 00:09:15,280 that be magical, but I don't know which one you wish, which route you took. 154 00:09:15,280 --> 00:09:21,040 I mean, Atlanta, you know, the magic, what was the thing they just like canceled? 155 00:09:21,040 --> 00:09:22,040 Magic City, there's this thing. 156 00:09:22,040 --> 00:09:23,040 Magic City, yeah. 157 00:09:23,040 --> 00:09:24,520 This is called Magic City, yeah. 158 00:09:24,520 --> 00:09:28,000 That's right, the Atlanta Hawks wanted to do like a Magic City night and they like canceled 159 00:09:28,000 --> 00:09:29,800 it on the NBA. 160 00:09:29,800 --> 00:09:34,400 By the way, that is actually the nickname of Birmingham is the Magic City. 161 00:09:34,400 --> 00:09:36,440 Wow, hey, you know what? 162 00:09:36,440 --> 00:09:37,440 Run with it, brother. 163 00:09:37,440 --> 00:09:38,440 Right? 164 00:09:38,440 --> 00:09:39,440 Run with it. 165 00:09:39,440 --> 00:09:44,000 Just saying, like what I first moved down here, I heard that was like, do they not know what 166 00:09:44,000 --> 00:09:46,240 Magic City's link to? 167 00:09:46,240 --> 00:09:47,560 Like, okay, cool. 168 00:09:47,560 --> 00:09:48,560 Let's roll with that. 169 00:09:48,560 --> 00:09:49,560 That's fine. 170 00:09:49,560 --> 00:09:54,560 I'm in a place where I pretty sure I've told the store on the show before where WrestleMania 171 00:09:54,560 --> 00:09:56,800 was in town. 172 00:09:56,800 --> 00:09:57,800 And we came in. 173 00:09:57,800 --> 00:10:01,640 Like, I said on the show, I think on last week, I can't always tell if sometimes what's on 174 00:10:01,640 --> 00:10:02,640 air off air. 175 00:10:02,640 --> 00:10:05,520 But anyway, I used to always plan my vacation. 176 00:10:05,520 --> 00:10:11,120 I did say this on air around like right after a couple of weeks after WrestleMania, I would 177 00:10:11,120 --> 00:10:16,240 never ever come in like around WrestleMania weekend because just wanted to watch WrestleMania 178 00:10:16,240 --> 00:10:18,880 and we'll go to fake, it's just funny how it always worked out. 179 00:10:18,880 --> 00:10:27,400 So we flew in like the day after WrestleMania one year and it was in town and I just saw the 180 00:10:27,400 --> 00:10:32,720 wrestling fans leaving when I was coming to the airport and we were walking around this huge 181 00:10:32,720 --> 00:10:35,240 theme park in the United States. 182 00:10:35,240 --> 00:10:38,080 And I just said to my wife, I was like, I just feel like we're going to run into a wrestler 183 00:10:38,080 --> 00:10:45,640 and like no shit, like 10 seconds later, Kevin Owens walks by me. 184 00:10:45,640 --> 00:10:48,320 And he's in like an old T-shirt and like, definitely shorts on. 185 00:10:48,320 --> 00:10:50,080 I'm like, holy fuck, it's Kevin Owens. 186 00:10:50,080 --> 00:10:52,520 And my wife's like, how the hell would you know he was here? 187 00:10:52,520 --> 00:10:54,080 Would you see it online or something? 188 00:10:54,080 --> 00:10:56,360 I was like, no, I just said that out loud. 189 00:10:56,360 --> 00:11:00,080 And here it was and people were like, following around us with his family and I told the story 190 00:11:00,080 --> 00:11:02,240 before I was like, I'm not going to bother this guy. 191 00:11:02,240 --> 00:11:05,080 And this seems like something that you may have missed this Dr. Trayv. 192 00:11:05,080 --> 00:11:08,880 But this is sounds like something that wrestling fans should have been doing in Las Vegas. 193 00:11:08,880 --> 00:11:12,000 To begin with, have you seen the CM Punk photo yet with the fan? 194 00:11:12,000 --> 00:11:13,000 Slapping the phone out? 195 00:11:13,000 --> 00:11:14,320 Okay, yeah. 196 00:11:14,320 --> 00:11:17,920 And then I think the fan thinks he's like in a storyline because he's like, I want an 197 00:11:17,920 --> 00:11:21,600 apology from CM Punk and it's like, you know, so like these people are human beings. 198 00:11:21,600 --> 00:11:25,560 Like if the roles were reversed and you're like hugging a friend or a family member, would 199 00:11:25,560 --> 00:11:28,720 you want like someone to be put in a camera in your face? 200 00:11:28,720 --> 00:11:32,280 And there's a lot of stories coming out right now after the punk situation about how like 201 00:11:32,280 --> 00:11:36,520 fans were, you know, really bothering the wrestlers and stuff like that. 202 00:11:36,520 --> 00:11:40,120 I saw a video of like Randy Orton being mobbed and I think he took like one picture with a 203 00:11:40,120 --> 00:11:44,640 little kid and everybody was forming him with signing the funcos and autographs and take 204 00:11:44,640 --> 00:11:46,320 a picture and stuff like that. 205 00:11:46,320 --> 00:11:48,120 And the wrestlers came out. 206 00:11:48,120 --> 00:11:51,720 I think Dr. McAter had a tweet before we were going on air that I saw where he was like 207 00:11:51,720 --> 00:11:55,080 thanking everybody who paid their hard earned money for WWE World and did the photo ops 208 00:11:55,080 --> 00:12:01,400 in the autograph sessions and I know not for everyone that that is like an easy thing to pay 209 00:12:01,400 --> 00:12:07,120 for and I've seen the prices for a lot of the events and it's like absurd how much photos 210 00:12:07,120 --> 00:12:11,240 and autographs are right now and it's like that for a lot of these conventions. 211 00:12:11,240 --> 00:12:15,560 And if you could legitimately can't afford it and stuff like that, I totally understand. 212 00:12:15,560 --> 00:12:18,880 You know, and you're using that money towards the very expensive tickets. 213 00:12:18,880 --> 00:12:19,880 Totally get that. 214 00:12:19,880 --> 00:12:27,080 The thing is like this is something I've always noticed or always felt even you know as long 215 00:12:27,080 --> 00:12:31,200 as I guess you know people are saying like decent human beings and stuff like that but whenever 216 00:12:31,200 --> 00:12:35,840 I've seen wrestlers or famous people athletes out I don't bother them because they are their 217 00:12:35,840 --> 00:12:40,440 human beings like Kevin Owens this time I'm talking about where I ran into him at a major 218 00:12:40,440 --> 00:12:43,680 theme park in the United States like he was with his family and he doesn't get a lot of 219 00:12:43,680 --> 00:12:48,240 time like that and it was funny because stupid me like I tweeted him like hey I just saw 220 00:12:48,240 --> 00:12:52,040 you know Kevin Owens didn't want to say "Pothermer" and stuff like that and he legitimately 221 00:12:52,040 --> 00:12:55,520 responded back and he's like if you see me please stop and say hi and I was like wow I can't 222 00:12:55,520 --> 00:12:58,200 believe that that he would do that. 223 00:12:58,200 --> 00:13:01,440 So I thought that was pretty cool but like the whole Las Vegas thing Dr. Trey like really 224 00:13:01,440 --> 00:13:07,560 irks me like I know there's things that there was not a lot of security and it's just odd 225 00:13:07,560 --> 00:13:10,840 really really odd stuff but I mean WWE should have learned their lesson it's not like they 226 00:13:10,840 --> 00:13:14,840 just didn't have freaking WrestleMania or the pre-ear prior. 227 00:13:14,840 --> 00:13:19,280 Yeah I mean and I've always been like I remember that day that you saw Kevin Owens because 228 00:13:19,280 --> 00:13:23,480 I think you texted me like I within like one of your 30 minutes of that happening you're 229 00:13:23,480 --> 00:13:28,880 like oh my god I just ran into Kevin Owens at this magical kingdom. 230 00:13:28,880 --> 00:13:33,200 Not don't want to give your location away but yeah like I remember texting me and you and 231 00:13:33,200 --> 00:13:39,400 I have always kind of been the same way like if we see somebody famous out and about and 232 00:13:39,400 --> 00:13:43,360 maybe it's because you and I both grew up on the like the you know on M&M and it's like 233 00:13:43,360 --> 00:13:48,320 there are songs you know M&M put out there but like you know if you see me out with me 234 00:13:48,320 --> 00:13:53,000 and my daughter don't bother me and like that's how I've always felt like if I was a celebrity 235 00:13:53,000 --> 00:13:57,000 and I'm trying to maintain a semblance of normal life and I take my kid out somewhere 236 00:13:57,000 --> 00:14:02,720 in public I don't want to be mobbed by the crowd and in the stuff in Las Vegas like if 237 00:14:02,720 --> 00:14:07,920 people are in their hotel that's basically their house and for people who live on the 238 00:14:07,920 --> 00:14:13,280 road like I did for so many years like that is your home away from work and then you 239 00:14:13,280 --> 00:14:19,980 don't want to be bothered with a lot of stuff like you know Jeff might be the best financial 240 00:14:19,980 --> 00:14:26,880 analyst in the world but when he goes to take his kids out to to eat he doesn't need 241 00:14:26,880 --> 00:14:32,880 35 people coming up to masking him for stock tips you know it's like no like leave it leave 242 00:14:32,880 --> 00:14:38,760 work at work and leave like leave your fandom in the confines of where your fandom resides 243 00:14:38,760 --> 00:14:44,880 I mean Jeff's when the if Jeff saw Jordan or what's that guy's name the love the quarterback 244 00:14:44,880 --> 00:14:45,880 the Packers. 245 00:14:45,880 --> 00:14:46,880 Yeah. 246 00:14:46,880 --> 00:14:47,880 Yeah. 247 00:14:47,880 --> 00:14:51,920 If Jeff saw Jordan love out and about he won't be like oh my god can I get a picture can 248 00:14:51,920 --> 00:14:55,680 you sign this please Jeff you like hey man big fan thanks for all you need for the Packers 249 00:14:55,680 --> 00:15:01,040 right that's all you got to do you don't need not everything needs to be mon of you know 250 00:15:01,040 --> 00:15:06,280 quantified and money by getting an autograph or something sometimes just the experience 251 00:15:06,280 --> 00:15:12,360 alone I've told the story on air years and years ago like I grew up for probably 30 minutes 252 00:15:12,360 --> 00:15:17,360 from Matt and Jeff Hardy we we had friends in the same circles this is before I got into 253 00:15:17,360 --> 00:15:23,960 the wrestling biz I was the dumbass that actually one night at a Walmart when I was 23 years 254 00:15:23,960 --> 00:15:29,240 old ran into Matt Hardy and Lita and I saw them in same thing I was like man I don't want 255 00:15:29,240 --> 00:15:33,480 a bother I don't want a bother I'm I saw a couple people walk up to mask and for an autograph 256 00:15:33,480 --> 00:15:41,040 and this is like a team extreme had just started right and I just like hey big fan hope to 257 00:15:41,040 --> 00:15:44,920 see in the ring one day and that was because I was actually playing and going to Shawn Michaels 258 00:15:44,920 --> 00:15:50,280 wrestling school and that was it and then I ran into him this was like eight years later 259 00:15:50,280 --> 00:15:55,040 I ran into him in airport the wife and I were flying through Baltimore head of summer 260 00:15:55,040 --> 00:15:59,520 him and Shannon Moore were flying in other direction and I saw them and my wife was like 261 00:15:59,520 --> 00:16:02,680 why don't you go say hi to them you've met them before you've met them a few times I'm 262 00:16:02,680 --> 00:16:07,560 like we're in airport I'm not bothering some dude in airport he's just hoping his luggage 263 00:16:07,560 --> 00:16:12,320 gets to where he's going I don't need me to add to his stress about like hey man remember 264 00:16:12,320 --> 00:16:17,520 me from eight years ago running into you in that Walmart in fabled North Carolina I don't 265 00:16:17,520 --> 00:16:22,640 I don't want to put that on somebody's plate so you know just usually the best approach 266 00:16:22,640 --> 00:16:28,320 is just no approach is how I've always taken it like if if it's meant to happen your time 267 00:16:28,320 --> 00:16:32,960 will happen to actually form a relationship with them if it's not meant to happen it's not 268 00:16:32,960 --> 00:16:38,400 meant to happen yeah it's it's just the whole thing is crazy the stuff that went on in Vegas 269 00:16:38,400 --> 00:16:42,680 the stories that you're hearing right now and it's just pretty awful but anyway I think 270 00:16:42,680 --> 00:16:47,320 it's time Dr. Tray let's get into it let's recap or review WrestleMania 42 this past Saturday 271 00:16:47,320 --> 00:16:52,240 and Sunday from a Legion stadium in Las Vegas Nevada let's start with night one Dr. Tray 272 00:16:52,240 --> 00:16:57,880 the Usos and LA night to feed in Logan Paul Austin Thierry and I show speed I had team vision 273 00:16:57,880 --> 00:17:03,960 and I show speed you had the Usos and LA night decent match I show speed should a lot of athleticism 274 00:17:03,960 --> 00:17:13,040 I did I'm not surprised that I didn't that we didn't see I show speed like basically getting 275 00:17:13,040 --> 00:17:17,560 the ass hand his assing at to him from the vision at some point like I'm kind of upset that 276 00:17:17,560 --> 00:17:21,320 I missed that as a possibility because I do think they probably want I show speed to look 277 00:17:21,320 --> 00:17:28,640 more like a a baby face than a heel the Logan Paul punch to speed was was pretty bad as was 278 00:17:28,640 --> 00:17:35,800 the one D to Logan Paul though the splash line show speed was good this to me screamed like 279 00:17:35,800 --> 00:17:41,600 WrestleMania celebrity match I did not have any good vibes bad vibes is just like this 280 00:17:41,600 --> 00:17:47,240 is like a typical let's get a celebrity in their WrestleMania match for me I will say 281 00:17:47,240 --> 00:17:53,760 and I don't know this also goes into like the pre-Russell Mania speech by the guy that did the 282 00:17:53,760 --> 00:18:00,000 little verbal run up I'm like I don't know who this guy is and then I show speed I did not 283 00:18:00,000 --> 00:18:06,920 know he was Sammy knows who I show speed is he was excited to see I show smooth in the WWE ring 284 00:18:06,920 --> 00:18:13,640 so that was one match I had to sit down with him and watch and he's a much more likable person 285 00:18:13,640 --> 00:18:17,920 than Logan Paul if you remember Logan Paul came on the scene he wanted to be a baby face 286 00:18:17,920 --> 00:18:22,960 they're like new people are going to hate you I show speeds in different kind of guy people 287 00:18:22,960 --> 00:18:27,560 want to like him so I kind of like where the storyline went with that we're like hey 288 00:18:27,560 --> 00:18:32,120 let's make him a bit let's align with Logan Paul and get some some notoriety if you turn 289 00:18:32,120 --> 00:18:37,280 to baby face we can use them down the line and maybe a Logan Paul I show speed match that 290 00:18:37,280 --> 00:18:45,280 will draw viewerships so I didn't hate it it was very very black luster of a match to 291 00:18:45,280 --> 00:18:51,120 say the least I mean that that might have been the worst one D slash 3d I have ever seen 292 00:18:51,120 --> 00:18:59,880 anybody ever throw like Jimmy Uso completely missed his catch on that one it was it was 293 00:18:59,880 --> 00:19:03,800 okay for a starter match it was exactly what I thought it was let's just get the crowd 294 00:19:03,800 --> 00:19:09,040 excited let's get him amped up let's give him something they can cheer about and make sure 295 00:19:09,040 --> 00:19:12,840 it gets out without getting hurt yeah I think a lot of these guys with the exception of 296 00:19:12,840 --> 00:19:19,560 I show speed is there better for WrestleMania match but it is what it was and there you go 297 00:19:19,560 --> 00:19:25,280 Usos and LA Knight win on WrestleMania Saturday kick off the show Jacob fought two defeats 298 00:19:25,280 --> 00:19:29,280 through McAterna on Sanctuary match you and I both had Jacob fought two in this one I thought 299 00:19:29,280 --> 00:19:34,120 was an enjoyable match hard hitting I'm all for giving thought to the ball and let him 300 00:19:34,120 --> 00:19:38,840 run with it after WrestleMania which is something we saw at the end of Monday Night Raw this 301 00:19:38,840 --> 00:19:45,480 was enjoyable it's it was a good build good feud I felt like both guys got got the wrong 302 00:19:45,480 --> 00:19:49,600 end of the stick basically when it came to the WrestleMania build I would have been fine 303 00:19:49,600 --> 00:19:55,040 with them being involved in the World Heavyweight Championship match with Randy Orton or just 304 00:19:55,040 --> 00:20:00,720 don't have them like intertwined with that storyline for the last like three months but I was happy 305 00:20:00,720 --> 00:20:03,520 for both guys getting this opportunity to join the match I just tried as Jacob fought 306 00:20:03,520 --> 00:20:05,020 two defeats through McAterna. 307 00:20:05,020 --> 00:20:09,600 Yeah this match actually I was like okay this is actually pretty good and this is how 308 00:20:09,600 --> 00:20:15,640 we're going to run WrestleMania I got high expectations for it I love the call back to 309 00:20:15,640 --> 00:20:22,760 the toolbox from McAterna and Ponkin Hell himself I love that they basically alluded to 310 00:20:22,760 --> 00:20:31,160 that guitar having PTSD from that toolbox I thought it was really hard hitting really it 311 00:20:31,160 --> 00:20:33,840 was one of those matches where like I'm watching this match going man these guys are going 312 00:20:33,840 --> 00:20:39,200 really really hard for this to be kind of the pre-show match which makes me also think 313 00:20:39,200 --> 00:20:44,520 that hey maybe Drew is taking some time off to finish filming the Highlander and we won't 314 00:20:44,520 --> 00:20:48,400 see him for a while maybe that's why he went so hard in this match but it was a really 315 00:20:48,400 --> 00:20:53,320 really damn good hard hitting enjoyable match with some you know kind of cool spots or the 316 00:20:53,320 --> 00:20:58,600 double jump moonsault through a table is pretty cool claymores like just overall I mean 317 00:20:58,600 --> 00:21:02,960 Jacob how to pop and drew up for that Samoan drop is pretty impressive like overall like 318 00:21:02,960 --> 00:21:08,400 I was really really impressed by how hard these guys went for being the match to kind of 319 00:21:08,400 --> 00:21:10,800 kick off WrestleMania. 320 00:21:10,800 --> 00:21:15,040 Next match here is Paige and Bri Bella to feed me irresistible forces shortflitter and 321 00:21:15,040 --> 00:21:18,880 likes to bless and Bailey and Lyra Valkyrie to win the WWE women's tag team. 322 00:21:18,880 --> 00:21:23,520 Championship I had Bailey and Lyra Dr. Trey trailflitter and Alexa Bliss. 323 00:21:23,520 --> 00:21:29,600 First off the page news was like leaks two three days before WrestleMania I actually like 324 00:21:29,600 --> 00:21:34,440 accidentally stumbled upon it to one of like the main sources I go to was like this is 325 00:21:34,440 --> 00:21:38,840 like they put out a tweet and it was like spoiler alert for WrestleMania don't like read 326 00:21:38,840 --> 00:21:43,280 if you don't want to see further and like right at the end of the freaking tweet was 327 00:21:43,280 --> 00:21:47,860 a photo of Paige and then like a tweet from like Mike Johnson or something that was like 328 00:21:47,860 --> 00:21:51,640 Paige is expected to be back with the WWE will be forming this week and I'm like that's 329 00:21:51,640 --> 00:21:56,880 not a spoiler like you warned me and then you literally put it in the tweet so it ruined 330 00:21:56,880 --> 00:22:01,120 it for me I saw something something today where Bri Bella was like upset on their podcasts 331 00:22:01,120 --> 00:22:06,720 that that news was leaked out as well and rightfully so that everybody I beat a lot of people 332 00:22:06,720 --> 00:22:13,240 knew that was coming and if it was if it was secretive and held back from actually being 333 00:22:13,240 --> 00:22:18,880 released I think you would have a similar reaction to when the hearties returned was at WrestleMania 334 00:22:18,880 --> 00:22:25,440 34 which was or 33 WrestleMania 33 that was such a great organic reaction when the hearties 335 00:22:25,440 --> 00:22:30,200 returned to WWE and I think it would have been a very similar reaction there with that 336 00:22:30,200 --> 00:22:35,160 said Paige did not miss a beat and Dr. Trey I don't know about you but I actually think 337 00:22:35,160 --> 00:22:40,920 she looked better in the ring this past Saturday then most of the times that I can remember 338 00:22:40,920 --> 00:22:46,760 her in AEW recently like I'm so happy for her she seems very very happy to be back in WWE 339 00:22:46,760 --> 00:22:51,600 despite the run in AEW where she returned in ring she feels at home she got medically 340 00:22:51,600 --> 00:22:56,000 clear she looked incredible in the ring I hope that her in-ring career is a little bit 341 00:22:56,000 --> 00:23:02,000 longer than it was in AEW you didn't really utilize her all that much or that was like 342 00:23:02,000 --> 00:23:05,920 very sporadic and when she would wrestle so I don't know if there was still issues lingering 343 00:23:05,920 --> 00:23:10,520 with her neck maybe tag team wrestling can certainly prevent that but I'd love to see 344 00:23:10,520 --> 00:23:17,800 Paige have another good couple singles runs if she's healthy enough to do so but I thought 345 00:23:17,800 --> 00:23:21,760 for me like the biggest takeaway Dr. Trey was that Paige looked so much better in the ring 346 00:23:21,760 --> 00:23:28,000 than I remember her being pretty recently when she was back in AEW I think it's also telling 347 00:23:28,000 --> 00:23:33,680 that a she's younger than half the women in that match like she's only I think I saw 348 00:23:33,680 --> 00:23:41,000 her before she's only 33 like that's crazy that's crazy to me like I mean she's it seems 349 00:23:41,000 --> 00:23:44,920 like she's been around forever like I remember you and I talking about that NXT Championship 350 00:23:44,920 --> 00:23:49,080 match with her and Emma and I'm like that just seems like forever ago and she's still only 351 00:23:49,080 --> 00:23:57,920 33 like she's I mean she's in Jeff's age range to you know for somebody to date but yeah 352 00:23:57,920 --> 00:24:04,360 she looked fantastic in the ring and once again they put her in a match outside of last legend 353 00:24:04,360 --> 00:24:08,840 she's had run-ins with everybody in them maybe maybe maybe not but she knows Charlotte she 354 00:24:08,840 --> 00:24:14,440 knows Alexa she knows Bailey like these are all people that she kind of knows and can kind 355 00:24:14,440 --> 00:24:19,680 of feed off of any you can kind of see that and how they put the match together like she 356 00:24:19,680 --> 00:24:22,960 didn't have a lot of interactions with last legend she didn't have a lot of interactions 357 00:24:22,960 --> 00:24:29,480 with Lyra it was mostly Charlotte Alexa and Bailey in that match so I really liked the way 358 00:24:29,480 --> 00:24:34,960 they put that together she looked fantastic and then also makes me like she looked here's 359 00:24:34,960 --> 00:24:40,240 the creative thing Jeff she once again looked it was presented like a bigger star coming 360 00:24:40,240 --> 00:24:47,520 back to WWE then she outside maybe her debut in AEW that she ever did in AEW like she just 361 00:24:47,520 --> 00:24:52,880 looked the part she sound like she moved like the park like they just know how to present 362 00:24:52,880 --> 00:25:01,160 people a little bit better in WWE than AEW at times so hey super happy for I wish I had read 363 00:25:01,160 --> 00:25:05,360 that sport because if you go back to last week I said if the bellas weren't in the match 364 00:25:05,360 --> 00:25:09,280 I was picking Alexa and Charlotte and they weren't the match I was picking the bellas 365 00:25:09,280 --> 00:25:13,960 damn it if I had known pages in the match I would have picked Paige and Bri yeah I think 366 00:25:13,960 --> 00:25:20,720 I saw that spoiler after we recorded last week so it was very late when it came out and it 367 00:25:20,720 --> 00:25:24,240 was disappointing but I was still very happy and she looked fantastic in the ranks so Paige 368 00:25:24,240 --> 00:25:30,400 and Bri Bella are your new WWE women's tie team champions next matchers Becky Lynch defeated 369 00:25:30,400 --> 00:25:34,120 in AJ Lee to win the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship we both had Becky Lynch in this 370 00:25:34,120 --> 00:25:38,880 one it's funny I just look at my notes put like immediately after the match and I was watching 371 00:25:38,880 --> 00:25:43,920 the match I was like man that felt really quick and then I look online and now this is 372 00:25:43,920 --> 00:25:49,200 going to be a theme for me Dr. Dre and it was it was eight minutes and 15 seconds it was 373 00:25:49,200 --> 00:25:53,400 shorter than the women's tag team match that was the match prior the men's six men match 374 00:25:53,400 --> 00:25:58,200 was seven minutes but this I was like man that felt really quick like is AJ Lee injured 375 00:25:58,200 --> 00:26:03,400 as Becky Lynch injured the finish to me had opened the door for round three if WWE wants 376 00:26:03,400 --> 00:26:09,000 to go that route I did like their elimination chamber match a lot more I'm getting the vibe 377 00:26:09,000 --> 00:26:13,440 that AJ Lee will not be on television for a little bit of time I don't think that there's 378 00:26:13,440 --> 00:26:18,560 some sort of follow up at backlash in a couple weeks but how I could be wrong but yet to 379 00:26:18,560 --> 00:26:22,600 me the biggest takeaway Dr. Dre was that this match just felt quick and the elimination 380 00:26:22,600 --> 00:26:26,120 chamber match was above and beyond better than what I saw WrestleMania Saturday and that 381 00:26:26,120 --> 00:26:30,880 is absolutely no knock on Becky Lynch and AJ Lee if they had more time it would have been 382 00:26:30,880 --> 00:26:34,960 in the same avenue for me they were just put on a good match and I was like oh damn I 383 00:26:34,960 --> 00:26:39,880 want more what the hell is this all about so Becky Lynch once again you're three time 384 00:26:39,880 --> 00:26:46,320 WWE women's intercom little champion yeah I for the short as the match was I enjoyed 385 00:26:46,320 --> 00:26:53,760 the match now was it is good some of the other matches no and I saw this come up online 386 00:26:53,760 --> 00:26:57,920 today when I was catching up and people complaining about the match times and things like this 387 00:26:57,920 --> 00:27:04,080 and in my response is so you're setting up a show and you have time allotments for each 388 00:27:04,080 --> 00:27:09,280 match think about how big these entrances were how long some of these entrances took and 389 00:27:09,280 --> 00:27:14,280 it's like that does cut into the amount of ring time you guess if you want a big entrance 390 00:27:14,280 --> 00:27:18,700 you're going to lose some time from the in ring stuff and you know Becky had a live band 391 00:27:18,700 --> 00:27:24,800 AJ had a bunch of little AJ's which I think that's a thing by the way do not get many versions 392 00:27:24,800 --> 00:27:29,040 of yourself at WrestleMania it never goes well I think almost every time I see somebody 393 00:27:29,040 --> 00:27:33,600 get multiple versions of themselves out there they always end up losing but yeah like 394 00:27:33,600 --> 00:27:37,880 it I think when you're sitting as show up you're going okay we got 15 minutes for this 395 00:27:37,880 --> 00:27:42,720 match but seven minutes is tied up in entrances you're going to get eight matches for your 396 00:27:42,720 --> 00:27:48,400 in ring stuff so this is kind of goes along with that whole they they're shifting sometimes 397 00:27:48,400 --> 00:27:54,400 WrestleMania from being an athletic endeavor to being a spectacle and the entrances and 398 00:27:54,400 --> 00:28:01,720 I saw this the entire show the entrances were just way too much and put into the quality 399 00:28:01,720 --> 00:28:07,000 of the ring time like I said for seven or for eight minutes they got the job done I mean 400 00:28:07,000 --> 00:28:10,640 you still told the story of Becky and AJ you still told the story of Becky tapping out 401 00:28:10,640 --> 00:28:15,640 the black widow you still got in the Becky Jessica car stuff you got everything crammed 402 00:28:15,640 --> 00:28:22,160 into it it just didn't feel as stretched out as most of what like just to have for probably 403 00:28:22,160 --> 00:28:27,360 the blow off match to a feud yeah this is going to be something that pops up again here 404 00:28:27,360 --> 00:28:31,800 in just a match or then not this match but the following match for sure is something 405 00:28:31,800 --> 00:28:37,000 and it was it was an odd theme and a little bit of profits here I mean I had some vibes 406 00:28:37,000 --> 00:28:41,240 while I was watching both these shows that I was like man do I feel this like is my other 407 00:28:41,240 --> 00:28:45,640 one notice this and I'm not as much online anymore but then I saw and heard aerial 408 00:28:45,640 --> 00:28:50,360 halani almost say nearly something identical to me we'll talk about here in just just a few 409 00:28:50,360 --> 00:28:54,640 minutes or so once we get through the recap with that said next match here is Gunther defeating 410 00:28:54,640 --> 00:28:58,600 Seth wrongs we both had Gunther in this one to me this match slipped up to the hype I love 411 00:28:58,600 --> 00:29:02,440 the energy I love the hard hitting that both men brought I would love to see these two guys 412 00:29:02,440 --> 00:29:06,080 battle out again but that's not happening got there's going in a different direction clearly 413 00:29:06,080 --> 00:29:10,720 it looks like LA night and Seth wrongs is back with Braun Breaker here because Braun Breaker 414 00:29:10,720 --> 00:29:15,200 which we predicted here on last week's show made his return took out Seth wrongs during 415 00:29:15,200 --> 00:29:19,960 the match and then took it out after the match as well which was such a very cool visual 416 00:29:19,960 --> 00:29:25,440 but unfortunately I can't believe I'm saying this because Seth Freakin wrongs legitimately 417 00:29:25,440 --> 00:29:30,520 slight little botch because Seth I guess I mean rightfully so did not want to get completely 418 00:29:30,520 --> 00:29:35,680 destroyed by Braun Breaker and took that spear just a little bit more lighter than I would 419 00:29:35,680 --> 00:29:39,840 be used to but anyway I mean Gunther and Seth wrongs they when they plan this match they 420 00:29:39,840 --> 00:29:42,760 must have just been like we have got to bring it we're going to be hard hitting and we're 421 00:29:42,760 --> 00:29:47,240 going to be physical and that's out fell and the energy was there and it was a lot of fun 422 00:29:47,240 --> 00:29:53,080 if the if the build to this prior to had some juice behind it I would love that a lot 423 00:29:53,080 --> 00:29:59,120 more again my biggest thing was like god damn they're not going to wrestle again immediately 424 00:29:59,120 --> 00:30:04,120 it's certainly not a backlash in Tampa and potentially anytime soon following this and 425 00:30:04,120 --> 00:30:07,860 I just wanted to see more of it because it was so much fun I really enjoyed this match 426 00:30:07,860 --> 00:30:12,520 Dr. Trace got through to feed Seth wrongs yeah I mean when you look at this match the one 427 00:30:12,520 --> 00:30:17,760 thing that you know is okay yes this match was fantastic but what they didn't have is 428 00:30:17,760 --> 00:30:22,680 big extravagant entrances it was the normal Gunther entrance a pretty normal Seth 429 00:30:22,680 --> 00:30:29,240 wrongs interest and they got much more match times and tell the match like I is a little 430 00:30:29,240 --> 00:30:33,440 supporting that this is kind of a one-off match because they're obviously going in different 431 00:30:33,440 --> 00:30:38,800 directions but man from from Bell to Bell from the start of that match with that T-Rex 432 00:30:38,800 --> 00:30:44,320 drop kick into the power bomb boom and then just the entire match itself is almost a hundred 433 00:30:44,320 --> 00:30:50,480 miles an hour even interchanging sleeper holds and countering that stuff like they kind 434 00:30:50,480 --> 00:30:55,760 of knew they had to bring it and they completely brought it and you know you mentioned the 435 00:30:55,760 --> 00:31:00,520 the Bronburgers for that that first one he took up against the the security railing there 436 00:31:00,520 --> 00:31:06,240 that one was pretty solid the second one when bronze coming down the ramp and you know 437 00:31:06,240 --> 00:31:10,600 he almost went you know like he did a few months ago with I came or I came or with that 438 00:31:10,600 --> 00:31:15,960 was but he came down full speed you got to remember when you're it's 23 miles an hour 439 00:31:15,960 --> 00:31:22,040 in the ring it's probably faster when you're running downhill down the ramp so he might be approaching 440 00:31:22,040 --> 00:31:29,240 25 26 miles an hour so I don't mind it Seth kind of O'Ladym being the first match back in 441 00:31:29,240 --> 00:31:36,160 the ring six months like you don't want to take that full-on impact but yeah it's it's I think 442 00:31:36,160 --> 00:31:41,120 Michael Cole said it that was the first time in they've only wrestled once in seven years 443 00:31:41,120 --> 00:31:47,240 and I don't remember that match from seven years ago but yeah like I want to see more of this 444 00:31:47,240 --> 00:31:52,200 because I didn't know I knew these both these guys are really good I didn't know how good 445 00:31:52,200 --> 00:31:57,520 this match would be but yeah this is very similar like those Brock Lesnar Daniel Bryan matches 446 00:31:57,520 --> 00:32:04,200 Brock Lesnar AJ Styles matches where the opposites really do mesh well together so sign me 447 00:32:04,200 --> 00:32:09,200 up for more Seth Rons and Gunther when we circle back to this for next year's WrestleMania 448 00:32:09,200 --> 00:32:14,880 yeah I mean Gunther and Seth Rons are some of the best so it's like it's no shock at all that 449 00:32:14,880 --> 00:32:20,120 these guys could pick it up with one another and put on a show with very little build whatsoever 450 00:32:20,120 --> 00:32:23,600 and the match that you're that they kept bringing up I actually like during the show like when 451 00:32:23,600 --> 00:32:28,120 they held these two guys wrestle and I looked online and it was an episode before the pandemic 452 00:32:28,120 --> 00:32:33,240 they were doing Ron London and Gunther showed up as the NXT UK champion and took on Seth 453 00:32:33,240 --> 00:32:37,280 Rons and the match that ended up being like a DQ and I was like I I vaguely remember this 454 00:32:37,280 --> 00:32:44,280 now but yeah it was great it was phenomenal match and obviously one of the best of the 455 00:32:44,280 --> 00:32:48,800 night so Gunther defeating Seth Rons and now Paul him and owes him some sort of big favor 456 00:32:48,800 --> 00:32:54,040 which I have some theories about that which we'll get to here in just a little bit the next 457 00:32:54,040 --> 00:32:59,920 match was Liv Morgan defeating Seth Valkyrie to win the women's world championship you and 458 00:32:59,920 --> 00:33:06,680 I both had Liv Morgan in this one talk to try insanely another insanely quick women's 459 00:33:06,680 --> 00:33:11,800 match at WrestleMania felt like it was old school women's matches at WrestleMania it felt like 460 00:33:11,800 --> 00:33:15,760 something and this is like another common theme for me I wrote down this felt like something 461 00:33:15,760 --> 00:33:20,800 I would see on raw rather than WrestleMania went back on Wikipedia and the number that they 462 00:33:20,800 --> 00:33:25,680 have down is that this was a six minute and 51 second match all I could think of some 463 00:33:25,680 --> 00:33:31,080 order to AJ Lee and Becky Lynch which we've heard no reports about this post-Russellmania 464 00:33:31,080 --> 00:33:35,800 we actually have had reports about this post-Russellmania it just felt to me that like Liv 465 00:33:35,800 --> 00:33:40,360 Morgan and Seth Valkyrie were hurt that something was off of our court has barely wrestled 466 00:33:40,360 --> 00:33:45,240 since December like that last raw where she like rolled her ankle I think it's like Rock 467 00:33:45,240 --> 00:33:49,440 Hellrod Regus was one of the last times that I remember her wrestling and that's what the 468 00:33:49,440 --> 00:33:53,240 reports were that was that both women were banged up they did not want them to go long and 469 00:33:53,240 --> 00:33:57,440 that's why the match was so damn short and it was like it's just it sucked because I love 470 00:33:57,440 --> 00:34:01,000 watching Liv Morgan the ring I love watching Seth Valkyrie on the ring and I just felt 471 00:34:01,000 --> 00:34:05,800 like these two styles which were going to be a lot of fun to watch and it did not happen 472 00:34:05,800 --> 00:34:09,440 as we had hoped hopefully they could continue to you feel that it feels like they are going 473 00:34:09,440 --> 00:34:15,280 to be continuing that feud because they left things going on raw this past Monday yeah just 474 00:34:15,280 --> 00:34:20,040 really quick doctor try six minutes and 51 seconds for a women's world championship match 475 00:34:20,040 --> 00:34:24,480 at WrestleMania and during the Triple H creative error it was it was a big let down I got 476 00:34:24,480 --> 00:34:30,000 to be honest and I felt like a Vince match but then again like how long how long was 477 00:34:30,000 --> 00:34:36,400 Liv's dance number just like that damn song got caught in my head dude so you're running 478 00:34:36,400 --> 00:34:40,400 around talking about trouble trouble bad advice or whatever that yeah trouble trouble I 479 00:34:40,400 --> 00:34:44,880 mean it's just in my head and now we'll be again and the crazy thing about that whole thing 480 00:34:44,880 --> 00:34:50,080 was I thought because of that Stephanie would have a bigger entrance and and she didn't 481 00:34:50,080 --> 00:34:54,480 get one it was kind of the same normal entrance I'm like damn kind of thought Stephanie 482 00:34:54,480 --> 00:34:58,160 would either like right out on a dragon or something I don't know like Ellie and I got 483 00:34:58,160 --> 00:35:04,200 a truck Dan housing got the Dan housing mobile on raw like you that's definitely might get 484 00:35:04,200 --> 00:35:09,160 a dragon or something who knows but the match was really sure I kind of felt like and 485 00:35:09,160 --> 00:35:13,160 you probably could point Stephanie's barely wrestled since December the only other match I 486 00:35:13,160 --> 00:35:18,400 can really think of was that was it like a street fight with Raquel that she had back 487 00:35:18,400 --> 00:35:22,880 in like February I think it was to start setting all this stuff up when we thought that 488 00:35:22,880 --> 00:35:28,080 you know live and Raquel might be having issues but yeah she's barely wrestled so I feel 489 00:35:28,080 --> 00:35:32,240 like they're just like hey let's get through WrestleMania and then we'll give you some 490 00:35:32,240 --> 00:35:38,440 time off type situations but a very very short match for two of your bigger I mean they 491 00:35:38,440 --> 00:35:43,120 literally called like Michael calls that these are two of the biggest stars of men's division 492 00:35:43,120 --> 00:35:48,000 and they get six minutes but then again if you add in lens lens dancer and by the way that 493 00:35:48,000 --> 00:35:53,520 was the ugliest dude dancing with her I have ever seen in the backup dancer I just kept 494 00:35:53,520 --> 00:35:57,880 looking like he looks like the guy who be giving my transmission a tune up and he's out here 495 00:35:57,880 --> 00:36:02,560 grinding on live Morgan like life is so unfair at times but with her entrance I mean that 496 00:36:02,560 --> 00:36:06,960 was probably 12 minutes if you give the full entrance time for that because that was a very 497 00:36:06,960 --> 00:36:11,680 long dance number the only I love that you just keep calling a dance number like that is 498 00:36:11,680 --> 00:36:16,400 just showing our age it's like no there's chairs involved Jeff I mean this is not like 499 00:36:16,400 --> 00:36:21,760 this is a choreographed dance routine like more than anything else it was actually the same dance 500 00:36:21,760 --> 00:36:26,400 number that's in the video which means she only knows three moves she's like the the John 501 00:36:26,400 --> 00:36:30,400 scene of dance I gotta admit I do love that you're pointing out because this was not like one of 502 00:36:30,400 --> 00:36:35,840 my takeaways like the entrances for a lot of these things were so damn long and it's like am I 503 00:36:35,840 --> 00:36:40,800 paying a watch for its wrestling entrance like just imagine a promotion that just was wrestling 504 00:36:40,800 --> 00:36:45,760 entrances and that's it and like over as the best entrance like that's who wins the match that's 505 00:36:45,760 --> 00:36:51,440 kind of what it felt like a WrestleMania um this past weekend I I had like a bunch of of negatives 506 00:36:51,440 --> 00:36:57,040 down and I did not put down like the wrestling entrance is because my mind was like so blown on 507 00:36:57,040 --> 00:37:03,200 WrestleMania Saturday that like AJ Lee and Becky Lynch had a less than 10 minute match uh live 508 00:37:03,200 --> 00:37:08,960 Morgan and Stephanie Valkour almost at like a five minute match at tops I'm like what the hell 509 00:37:08,960 --> 00:37:13,600 is going on here and I definitely have some theories on this entire thing and if you think about that 510 00:37:13,600 --> 00:37:20,880 like the the the run time of the show was about normal so so so you have to kind of feel I even 511 00:37:20,880 --> 00:37:25,840 figured out the time had to go somewhere so from everything I saw it was like under three hours 512 00:37:25,840 --> 00:37:33,600 and 30 minutes um was like the actual runtime on the replays that are being put up on on ESPN 513 00:37:33,600 --> 00:37:39,040 limited right now it's like three hours and like 60 minutes that so they've cut out the all the 18 514 00:37:39,040 --> 00:37:42,880 minutes of commercials that they put in there for whatever reason and like legitimately we'll say 515 00:37:42,880 --> 00:37:47,040 like WrestleMania 42 is on a commercial break like why is this taking up three minutes now 516 00:37:47,040 --> 00:37:54,240 uh four minutes actually and that's for WrestleMania that's pretty short to me like I felt like 517 00:37:54,240 --> 00:37:58,240 WrestleMania was about a four hour show each time and I'm not counting commercials in this 518 00:37:58,240 --> 00:38:05,120 well I just know from from my and you can test this like from our personal WrestleMania experiences 519 00:38:05,120 --> 00:38:10,960 the the show is usually about seven to eight hours long Dr. Troy WrestleMania 35 in MetLife 520 00:38:10,960 --> 00:38:20,480 I sat down on my couch at 4445 in the afternoon I did not get up until 12 30 am Monday morning 521 00:38:20,480 --> 00:38:27,120 and that was the last single day WrestleMania ever um yeah so I think it was the process 522 00:38:27,120 --> 00:38:35,120 we got to 30 what I'm trying to do I'm at there what WrestleMania we are now 42 42 42 42 523 00:38:35,120 --> 00:38:46,000 we're on 42 so 34 was the one I went to we got to our seats at roughly four o'clock for 30-ish 524 00:38:46,000 --> 00:38:51,440 and then we walked out uh at 11 30 and I don't know how long Brock and around the winter night so 525 00:38:51,440 --> 00:38:55,120 I have listen we're gonna jump on to this right now we'll we'll cover Cody and Randy just 526 00:38:55,120 --> 00:38:58,320 second but just as we're talking about it and then we're shorter matches as well and there's 527 00:38:58,320 --> 00:39:02,080 the theme of this where I wrote down a lot of matches were like this would be something I would 528 00:39:02,080 --> 00:39:06,000 say on Ron smack down and people are like well of course it's you're getting the WWE superstars 529 00:39:06,000 --> 00:39:10,800 but hopefully the other fans that and and you yourself Dr. Troy like understand the perspective is 530 00:39:10,800 --> 00:39:15,600 is that this is fucking WrestleMania like these matches need to be pretty decently long telegood 531 00:39:15,600 --> 00:39:20,640 story and this is the time where you want to see all the superstars men and women tag teams really 532 00:39:20,640 --> 00:39:25,360 bring it and I and I hate to do that when it comes to the superstars because they put it so much 533 00:39:25,360 --> 00:39:29,920 time and effort and so great whether and ring is but it just felt like they were cut a lot of time 534 00:39:30,480 --> 00:39:37,440 and usually WWE when they do their PLE is like back lash will probably be about a 4 or 5 match PLE 535 00:39:37,440 --> 00:39:42,960 and those matches will probably get a good 15 to 25 minutes depending on the you know what they want 536 00:39:42,960 --> 00:39:51,040 to you know put across there so you had seven matches 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 matches on Saturday 6 on Sunday 537 00:39:51,040 --> 00:39:57,600 and it just felt rushed like that they had not done that in a long time and you look at these 538 00:39:57,600 --> 00:40:03,280 match numbers 7 minutes for the first match 8 minutes for the tag women's tag match 8 15 for 539 00:40:03,280 --> 00:40:08,720 the inner count of match 6 51 for the women's match it's like what the hell like if you're going to 540 00:40:08,720 --> 00:40:14,000 give me 7 or 6 matches for WrestleMania I have no problem if you're going to exceed over 4 hours 541 00:40:14,000 --> 00:40:18,320 and I get it's 2 nights and if you're like no that's going to tire out the fans then guess what 542 00:40:18,320 --> 00:40:22,320 you got to have the less of these cards you're going to have to give me 5 matches on Saturday 5 matches 543 00:40:22,320 --> 00:40:28,080 on Sunday and make a count and you can make WrestleMania Sunday and and we're off to WrestleMania just 544 00:40:28,080 --> 00:40:33,680 as special and you're putting free matches on there listen if you're going to do this 6 to 7 PM 545 00:40:33,680 --> 00:40:37,600 and I know you keep referring it to the pre show but it's actually the live show it's like 546 00:40:37,600 --> 00:40:43,040 WrestleMania it's airing live on ESPN and ESPN 2 for free this weekend if you're going to put those 547 00:40:43,040 --> 00:40:48,800 matches for free if you're going to put 4 WrestleMania matches 4 of the 15 matches are going to air 548 00:40:48,800 --> 00:40:53,120 for free on ESPN and ESPN 2 to give people to go to unlimited then then you're going to have to put 549 00:40:53,120 --> 00:40:58,000 some matches on Friday on Smackdown or the Raw after WrestleMania because one of my biggest 550 00:40:58,000 --> 00:41:05,120 gripes about Smackdown leading into WrestleMania is there's a ton of promos there's a ton of vignettes 551 00:41:05,120 --> 00:41:10,640 and I get why they're doing it but you know what start making that card loaded up with some matches 552 00:41:10,640 --> 00:41:14,720 that barely missed WrestleMania and that would be a lot better to me because I don't want to see 553 00:41:14,720 --> 00:41:19,680 a WrestleMania again where it's like a seven minutes women's championship match that's ridiculous 554 00:41:19,680 --> 00:41:25,840 you know it's either that or you let the show go for over four hours of in-ring time total because 555 00:41:25,840 --> 00:41:32,000 that was bullshit yeah no and I agree like some of these matches and some of it especially like 556 00:41:32,000 --> 00:41:36,480 I mean the intensity that live in Stephanie had leading into it like I know we talked about 557 00:41:36,480 --> 00:41:42,720 the buildup was kind of hit and missed but when they were at it they were violent I mean you talk 558 00:41:42,720 --> 00:41:47,280 about some of these other matches it's like no that that women's tears that that for a match was 559 00:41:47,280 --> 00:41:52,720 announced that all every single team would have a competitor in the match I was like this match is 560 00:41:52,720 --> 00:41:57,600 going short because you got four people at a time in the ring it's going to go short there's no reason 561 00:41:57,600 --> 00:42:03,840 for it to stretch out like it's a double as sore where you get people like me that are older it's 562 00:42:03,840 --> 00:42:09,440 like we watch an a w show and it runs eight hours we're like fuck I'm exhausted but then you split 563 00:42:09,440 --> 00:42:13,920 a show like this you're like man that's only three and a half hours I'm good to go another hour and a half 564 00:42:13,920 --> 00:42:19,760 like I think if you're the whole purpose of splitting Russell Manie was not to tire the crowd out 565 00:42:19,760 --> 00:42:24,640 so you can go four and a half five hours and if you're given away two of the matches for free 566 00:42:24,640 --> 00:42:31,680 that means your die hard fans are the ones tuning in to watch the rest of the show because we're the 567 00:42:31,680 --> 00:42:36,480 ones spending the money so give us a little more in-ring action I mean that that was my biggest complaint 568 00:42:36,480 --> 00:42:42,240 at the night was like man somebody's matches are so short but dear god the ring entrances were 569 00:42:42,240 --> 00:42:49,120 almost as long as the damn matches were so like it's a weird era we're living in right now where I 570 00:42:49,120 --> 00:42:56,240 think tko is trying to find the balance between what the die hard fans want and what the casual fans 571 00:42:56,240 --> 00:43:01,920 want and I think most people once they get down to learning about the product just once he you know 572 00:43:01,920 --> 00:43:07,600 give me a story and give me some good in-ring action I don't need all the fiat tricks to go into it 573 00:43:07,600 --> 00:43:13,280 I don't want to realize why I stopped watching UFC was I started getting too theatrical and their 574 00:43:13,280 --> 00:43:18,160 entrances I'm like no I just want you to grow man go the ring and beat the hell out of each other 575 00:43:18,160 --> 00:43:22,640 wrestling I know what I'm getting I just want a little bit of a story give me a reason why these 576 00:43:22,640 --> 00:43:29,040 guys are fighting other than just a shiny gold prize and then let them go do what they do best like 577 00:43:29,040 --> 00:43:35,840 I don't think anybody out here thinks that wrestlers are the best thespians in the world so I don't need 578 00:43:35,840 --> 00:43:40,960 a choreographed dance number I don't need you know somebody driving out on a truck I don't need 579 00:43:40,960 --> 00:43:45,760 all the theatrics sometimes just give me what I paid for I spent all year waiting for the biggest 580 00:43:45,760 --> 00:43:50,800 wrestling show of the year give me a little more wrestling I'll be fine with that and we'll just 581 00:43:50,800 --> 00:43:55,280 get into this now since we're like rolling on the entire thing because I saw ariho aani break it 582 00:43:55,280 --> 00:43:59,600 down and he said and I had this feeling and then I was like alright so I feel a little bit valid saying 583 00:43:59,600 --> 00:44:04,080 this now or I was the only person he's like it just didn't feel like WrestleMania to me I'm sitting 584 00:44:04,080 --> 00:44:08,640 there on the couch into Saturday and Sunday and Sunday and Monday in the hotel room where I'm 585 00:44:08,640 --> 00:44:13,040 staying right now doing the show and I was just like man WrestleMania it did not feel like WrestleMania 586 00:44:13,040 --> 00:44:18,560 the grade that I'll give Saturday is is way less than what I'll give Sunday I thought Sunday was 587 00:44:18,560 --> 00:44:22,720 a better show we'll break that all down here obviously shortly but it just did not feel like 588 00:44:22,720 --> 00:44:27,440 WrestleMania to me just felt like another PLA felt like another show and I was let down by that especially 589 00:44:27,440 --> 00:44:35,120 for the fact that 38 39 40 were really good 41 last year was was good as well I think it was a sort of 590 00:44:35,120 --> 00:44:40,880 show of the year I'd be surprised if if WrestleMania 42 hits a show of the event of the year when we do 591 00:44:40,880 --> 00:44:45,120 the end of the year at this point because it just it did not feel like WrestleMania and now I'm concerned 592 00:44:45,120 --> 00:44:49,920 about next year in Saudi Arabia where we just came off the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia and that 593 00:44:49,920 --> 00:44:55,360 was a huge let down I mean WWE has not been putting out really good PLAs right now and I don't know 594 00:44:55,360 --> 00:45:00,320 what's going on like creative team is just not firing like they used to and I know there's a lot 595 00:45:00,320 --> 00:45:05,920 of about TKO and creative and they're inf you know they're influenced on it and putting these 596 00:45:05,920 --> 00:45:10,400 celebrities and all that stuff it just it didn't feel like WrestleMania to me at the end of the 597 00:45:10,400 --> 00:45:14,240 weekend after I when both shows were over I was like man that did not feel like a WrestleMania 598 00:45:15,440 --> 00:45:23,040 WrestleMania should be matches that have a lot of personal personal then dead as the set oh like 599 00:45:23,040 --> 00:45:28,480 you're building all year to have these big payoff matches at WrestleMania and so night one 600 00:45:28,480 --> 00:45:34,720 seven matches three of them were like three of them maybe four if you know two women's matches 601 00:45:34,720 --> 00:45:43,600 fought two of McIntyre, Codian and Randy four of the seven matches felt like they could have a 602 00:45:43,600 --> 00:45:47,760 personal issue to get resolved at WrestleMania those matches should have had the most time 603 00:45:47,760 --> 00:45:54,560 two of them had a decent amount of time two of them had none like that like that makes no sense to 604 00:45:54,560 --> 00:45:59,760 me like that should be what you're building towards is hey these big payoff mama's he's big 605 00:45:59,760 --> 00:46:04,880 oh my god we've been investing all this time in the storyline boom here's the big payoff and 606 00:46:04,880 --> 00:46:10,720 instead we're getting like hey here's a big storyline you get five minutes yeah here's a big 607 00:46:10,720 --> 00:46:17,520 storyline you've had three matches leading up to the one here you get six minutes like it just didn't 608 00:46:17,520 --> 00:46:23,520 it didn't feel wrestle maniac quality to me it felt like it felt like crown jewel Saudi Arabia 609 00:46:23,520 --> 00:46:30,160 quality to me yeah it was it was a show that just was not both nights just it felt weird it really did so 610 00:46:30,160 --> 00:46:34,320 let's get into the next match here because I think this will just kind of carry on throughout you 611 00:46:34,320 --> 00:46:38,320 had Cody Rhodes defeating Randy or to retain the Undisputed WWE championship doctor trainer both had 612 00:46:38,320 --> 00:46:45,120 Randy or in this one it did feel like that the McAfee angle appears to be scrapped they removed him 613 00:46:45,120 --> 00:46:49,440 from ringside at the start I felt that was the right move and then you had Randy or hitting the 614 00:46:49,440 --> 00:46:54,720 RKO on Pat McAfee when he came out to be the referee where this storyline goes from here will be 615 00:46:54,720 --> 00:47:00,080 really intriguing Cody wants again capitalizing on a mistake to win a match that's a weird way for 616 00:47:00,080 --> 00:47:05,760 your type top baby face to get a victory like it's a very healish thing to do and he always seems to 617 00:47:05,760 --> 00:47:12,560 capitalize on on when the heels like mess up which has been his calling card it appears I don't know 618 00:47:12,560 --> 00:47:17,440 if it was the people are saying it was a punch and they're saying that was the punt like Cody Rhodes's 619 00:47:17,440 --> 00:47:22,480 eye injury which you saw on Monday's Raw was was after the fact was really gnarly if you haven't 620 00:47:22,480 --> 00:47:27,600 seen the video yet Dr. Trey of like him with the eye after the match like it is insane and then 621 00:47:27,600 --> 00:47:32,000 there's actually a part where like when Randy orn closes that night where he's holding the title 622 00:47:32,000 --> 00:47:38,800 up to carry the storyline forward again I guess off camera he's like kneeling down like kind of 623 00:47:38,800 --> 00:47:42,400 sell it a little bit but you could see he's talking to Cody Rhodes to see how he's doing. 624 00:47:42,400 --> 00:47:46,880 Every hit was just a gnarly gnarly thing this was a great match I enjoyed the match 625 00:47:46,880 --> 00:47:52,160 Cody Rhodes a feeling Randy orn to pertain the industry WWE championship and it appears the Pat 626 00:47:52,160 --> 00:47:58,160 McAfee angle has completely been scrapped at this point. Yeah and that's well you say that but then 627 00:47:58,160 --> 00:48:04,560 we had the jelly roll getting involved earlier so I mean it may not be Pat and Randy I don't know if 628 00:48:04,560 --> 00:48:10,560 Pat will ever totally be gone and honestly I don't want Pat McAfee totally gone from WWE because I do 629 00:48:10,560 --> 00:48:19,440 enjoy his presence I just don't like where they inserted him in this storyline. If you told me to watch 630 00:48:19,440 --> 00:48:24,800 this match not knowing who the good guy was and who the bad guy was I would have loved this match 631 00:48:25,520 --> 00:48:32,480 but you're telling me Randy Orons being this maniacal you know psychological killer in 632 00:48:32,480 --> 00:48:39,600 Cody's like the white meat baby face champion and Cody controlled the tempo Cody controlled the match 633 00:48:39,600 --> 00:48:45,200 Cody was the one going after the injury which is usually what a heel does so the match actually 634 00:48:45,200 --> 00:48:50,160 kind of played out in reverse roles in a lot of ways like Randy kind of after that opening sequence 635 00:48:50,160 --> 00:48:55,440 Randy kind of felt like the underdog for Moses match and that's typically not what the way you want 636 00:48:55,440 --> 00:49:01,200 to put a match together for your heel and baby face on the surface I love the match I didn't like 637 00:49:01,200 --> 00:49:06,320 how it was structured though so overall I thought it was a really enjoyable match I just didn't like 638 00:49:06,320 --> 00:49:12,720 the structure of it I did love the punt at the end what I did like is normally when Randy punt 639 00:49:12,720 --> 00:49:19,680 somebody we don't see them for a while and we saw Cody two days later. That's true. So that I'm 640 00:49:19,680 --> 00:49:26,080 not really happy with because you're not selling how impactful that puck was because Randy hasn't 641 00:49:26,080 --> 00:49:33,600 done that in so long because it ended so many legends careers but Cody can come back in two days 642 00:49:33,600 --> 00:49:39,760 and seem somewhat okay other than his eye looking jacked up. Yeah there was a lot of stuff about 643 00:49:39,760 --> 00:49:43,680 this injury there that I can see was a concussion protocol there was discussions that he may have 644 00:49:43,680 --> 00:49:47,360 to be like relinquish the title he's going to be out for some time if the orbital fracture 645 00:49:47,360 --> 00:49:52,160 if there was an orbital fracture so it least seems like he's dodged a bullet but I'm with you usually 646 00:49:52,160 --> 00:49:58,240 the punt you sell it for a while and he did not do his meet and greets the next day for WWE world 647 00:49:58,240 --> 00:50:03,120 on Sunday and otherwise I didn't see what his eye looked like so I was like oh man they really 648 00:50:03,120 --> 00:50:07,760 sell this angle then you saw like after the fact from people at rings I was like holy shit like 649 00:50:07,760 --> 00:50:13,920 that's really not only nasty so hopefully Cody's okay I agree they should have kept him off 650 00:50:13,920 --> 00:50:18,480 television for a little bit longer even to to plant those seeds with CM Punk on Raw on this past Monday 651 00:50:18,480 --> 00:50:24,000 but they got Cody Rhodes defeats Randy or to retain the WWE Undisputed Championship. 652 00:50:24,000 --> 00:50:29,360 People have a prediction record from WrestleMania Saturday I went 4-3 Doctor Trude went 5 and 2 653 00:50:29,360 --> 00:50:36,080 my event rating I gave it a 3.6 out of 5 and my match of the night was Gunther versus Seth 654 00:50:36,080 --> 00:50:43,760 Ron's Doctor Try. You were nice to me I gave it a 3.4 and my match of the night was Gunther and Seth 655 00:50:43,760 --> 00:50:50,320 Ron's also. Yeah I think 3.4 is very fair as well I think mine I did a little bit more because I enjoyed 656 00:50:50,320 --> 00:50:56,000 Cody and Randy and I really enjoyed Gunther and Seth Ron so there you go WrestleMania 42 Saturday 657 00:50:56,000 --> 00:51:00,240 in the books let's jump over to Sunday you at Oba Femme defeating Brock Lesnar to kick off the 658 00:51:00,240 --> 00:51:05,840 show we both at Oba Femme in this one very fun entertaining match that delivered hard hitting 659 00:51:05,840 --> 00:51:10,080 physical everything that you kind of really hoped for for these two guys and this was less than 5 660 00:51:10,080 --> 00:51:14,640 minutes so if you think we're sounding hypocritical this is what you kind of expect to see from 661 00:51:14,640 --> 00:51:20,320 a Brock Lesnar Oba Femme match I did not expect these guys especially on ESPN to be going for 15 662 00:51:20,320 --> 00:51:25,280 minutes long the thing that did shock me was obviously what everybody's talking about Brock Lesnar 663 00:51:25,280 --> 00:51:30,240 leaving his gloves and boots in the ring basically shedding the beast character smiling 664 00:51:30,240 --> 00:51:35,440 thanking the fans the the humanistic side of Brock Lesnar coming out which I thought was 665 00:51:35,440 --> 00:51:41,120 very telling from a character development standpoint obviously a lot of people talking about here 666 00:51:41,120 --> 00:51:46,800 as you and I record this such a tray is the beast legitimately done there are folks saying that 667 00:51:46,800 --> 00:51:52,000 they expected that he would be done come Summerslam and Minneapolis that would make a ton of sense 668 00:51:52,000 --> 00:51:57,120 I felt like he had two matches in him one being the Zobo Femme match the last one being the the 669 00:51:57,120 --> 00:52:04,640 Gunther match I still feel like the favor that got Paul Heman's gonna oh Gunther will be a match 670 00:52:04,640 --> 00:52:10,880 with Brock Lesnar his retirement match in Minneapolis Minnesota at Summerslam I don't think Brock Lesnar 671 00:52:10,880 --> 00:52:15,360 is Russell the last match but who knows maybe WWE actually tried covering this up if they're saying 672 00:52:15,360 --> 00:52:19,920 that this is someone to the whole Seth Rollins storyline where nobody is really saying anything 673 00:52:19,920 --> 00:52:26,240 and I'm glad they're not but really good match fun phenomenal Oba Femme is the next big thing it 674 00:52:26,240 --> 00:52:32,880 was a torch passing moment I can't imagine that Oba Femme is not the world giveaway champion might 675 00:52:32,880 --> 00:52:36,720 end of this year really enjoy this one not to trade Oba Femme defeating Brock Lesnar. 676 00:52:36,720 --> 00:52:42,080 I mean you say that but you and I how many times in the United States Brea why should we the WWE champion 677 00:52:42,080 --> 00:52:49,680 and you didn't come to fruition for a very very long time despite the the the wishes of a lot of 678 00:52:49,680 --> 00:52:54,720 wrestling fans like no this match is exactly what supposed to be this was your I don't say typical 679 00:52:54,720 --> 00:52:59,120 Brock Lesnar match but it was like hey it was we're gonna play the biggest hits we're gonna hit 680 00:52:59,120 --> 00:53:04,240 the big high spots and we're gonna hit hard and go home from there I like this match because not 681 00:53:04,240 --> 00:53:10,640 just because of the match itself and the in the passing of the torch but also like Brock supposedly 682 00:53:10,640 --> 00:53:17,440 from what I'm reading in everything I'm hearing Brock has hand picked Oba and to take over and maybe 683 00:53:17,440 --> 00:53:24,800 it may be crazy to say it's it may be because of his love of shot putting because you know Brock's 684 00:53:24,800 --> 00:53:31,760 daughter is yeah is a shot putter so he knows what goes into it here's Oba coming up you know from 685 00:53:31,760 --> 00:53:37,120 from my backyard University of Alabama SEC shot putting champion he knows the physical nature that 686 00:53:37,120 --> 00:53:43,200 goes into it he sees how this guy's progressed he's one of the most likable you know well-mannered 687 00:53:43,200 --> 00:53:50,080 people in for a young guy in pro wrestling I mean this is kind of the what we heard about Brock 688 00:53:50,080 --> 00:53:55,120 coming in from the University of Minnesota so I and if Paul Heyman's telling Brock hey this is the 689 00:53:55,120 --> 00:54:00,880 right guy to pass the torch to I don't think that Brock would steer clear of that and then to line 690 00:54:00,880 --> 00:54:06,480 up Summerslam being in Minneapolis where the you know right outside where the University of Minnesota 691 00:54:06,480 --> 00:54:13,280 is for that to be Brock Swanson if that's the direction they go makes a ton of sense also so like 692 00:54:13,280 --> 00:54:19,040 this has set the stage for you know Gunther caching in that favor a few months where he attacks Paul 693 00:54:19,040 --> 00:54:26,240 Heyman and Brock has to come make the save for his long time friend and has to come out of semi-retirement 694 00:54:26,240 --> 00:54:31,520 to fight this one last fight and then Gunther finally retires him so it makes it's kind of sets the 695 00:54:31,520 --> 00:54:36,320 stage for all the things that we're kind of looking forward to yeah I think well plenty of time to 696 00:54:36,320 --> 00:54:43,840 really talk about the career of Brock Lesnar soon I'm I'm just not ready to be like yay it's 697 00:54:43,840 --> 00:54:48,320 definitely retired because I'm with the doctor I don't think we've seen his last match so Oba Brock 698 00:54:48,320 --> 00:54:53,040 ton of fun next match here Penta defeating Dragon League Javon Evans Rusev JD McDonough 699 00:54:53,040 --> 00:54:56,720 and Remisterio in a latter match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship but you and I 700 00:54:56,720 --> 00:55:01,600 both had Javon Evans in this one they went with Penta retaining which is something you really see 701 00:55:01,600 --> 00:55:06,240 in a latter match nowadays especially one with multi people in it entertaining match that you 702 00:55:06,240 --> 00:55:13,120 expect from all six men I think Penta is poised for a big 2026 and hopefully he can continue riding 703 00:55:13,120 --> 00:55:17,920 this momentum the fans are behind and they really enjoy him and maybe the the Intercontinental 704 00:55:17,920 --> 00:55:21,840 Championship is like a really good lane for him right now because I just don't see him on the upper 705 00:55:21,840 --> 00:55:27,360 card especially with the likes of Oba family Roman Reigns Gunther LA Knight Seth Rounds Braun 706 00:55:27,360 --> 00:55:32,640 Breaker kind of vying that on the raw brand right now fun match Penta retain softer try 707 00:55:32,640 --> 00:55:38,800 yeah and and Kermit for wrong you got do we get the old school Ray Mysterio entrance with him 708 00:55:38,800 --> 00:55:45,280 actually popping out of the stage if we did yeah yes so who's that jumping out the sky apparently 709 00:55:45,280 --> 00:55:51,360 everybody in this match other than Rusev and Rusev took a pretty big fall he did fall from the sky 710 00:55:51,360 --> 00:55:58,080 I just don't think he's a jumper but yeah it's kind of I don't want to say passay for you know 711 00:55:58,080 --> 00:56:03,200 an intercontinental title latter match but everybody got their big moments in everybody looked like 712 00:56:03,200 --> 00:56:10,480 they had a shot and Penta once again like apparently if you're colorful and you have a catchphrase 713 00:56:11,520 --> 00:56:17,920 W will push you whether that's Penta Danhausen you know that's why Ray Phoenix is struggling because 714 00:56:17,920 --> 00:56:23,120 nobody's clamoring to see Ray Phoenix again on a microphone I 715 00:56:23,120 --> 00:56:33,440 in WWE on the main side of it is his promo skills which he is improving at but that's why he goes 716 00:56:33,440 --> 00:56:38,080 to triple A he can kind of promo in Spanish and everybody just eats that stuff up so like he's that 717 00:56:38,080 --> 00:56:43,680 perfect maybe balanced guy to kind of ride that middle ground we're like hey we need a B plus guy to 718 00:56:43,680 --> 00:56:50,960 fill in at a at a at a you know middle of the road you know paper you a PLE hey throw Penta in the 719 00:56:50,960 --> 00:56:56,800 mix let's see if we can you know jumpstart the Southern California Hispanic culture crowd and like 720 00:56:56,800 --> 00:57:02,080 put Penta in a match with Roman Reigns like see how the by-rate handle it he might be one of those 721 00:57:02,080 --> 00:57:07,280 guys you kind of do the test runs with like they do with Ray and Eddie years and years ago to kind 722 00:57:07,280 --> 00:57:12,800 of see if there is you know an appetite for a Hispanic guy to be on top of the card so 723 00:57:12,800 --> 00:57:20,160 he's definitely got a marketable look so I mean I don't see why they couldn't potentially some point 724 00:57:20,160 --> 00:57:26,080 move him into that upper card mix but right now he's in the right lane to be in next match 725 00:57:26,080 --> 00:57:30,000 year's trick Williams defeating Sammy's aim to win the WWE United States championship I had 726 00:57:30,000 --> 00:57:34,480 Sammy Dutt trade trick trick has really come a long way and his end-ring work is catching up to 727 00:57:34,480 --> 00:57:40,480 his personality something that I've really talked about since his time on the WWE NXT roster to now 728 00:57:40,480 --> 00:57:45,200 you have to give him props I mean his end-ring stuff is catching up this is to me is though the 729 00:57:45,200 --> 00:57:49,120 match itself was another it was seven minutes and seven seconds this felt like something I could 730 00:57:49,120 --> 00:57:55,040 see on Smackdown actually United States championship matches on Smackdown get longer time I really 731 00:57:55,040 --> 00:58:02,400 wanted to see more I truly did and we need to get the like crazy double turn I expected to be fully 732 00:58:02,400 --> 00:58:07,600 turned by Friday which I don't want to see Sammy's aim as a heel but I'm still the same guy that 733 00:58:07,600 --> 00:58:12,800 doesn't want to see Randall on his heel right now either so anyway it was fine it was fine for 734 00:58:12,800 --> 00:58:17,680 what it was seven minutes seven seconds trick Williams feet Sammy's aim to win the WWE United States championship 735 00:58:17,680 --> 00:58:24,480 I told some of the air night I don't want to see Sammy as a heel I don't really want to 736 00:58:24,480 --> 00:58:30,800 get Randy as a heel but if you give me Randy Sammy and Kevin all together I don't care if they're 737 00:58:30,800 --> 00:58:35,760 his or baby face I'll eat that up and I think even Sarah now you can hear from the crowd the crowd 738 00:58:35,760 --> 00:58:41,360 doesn't want to boo Randy Orton but we just love to see evil Randy Orton I like crazy Sammy I like 739 00:58:41,360 --> 00:58:48,240 psych you know Sammy I like I still like conspiracy theory Sammy so if that's a route they go I'm fine 740 00:58:48,240 --> 00:58:54,800 with that I do like that you know that was always our knock on trick Williams for years in NXT was like 741 00:58:55,680 --> 00:59:02,640 he's got the personality he's got the look his injuries got to catch up it's getting there I'm still 742 00:59:02,640 --> 00:59:08,720 not a huge fan of the trick shot as a finisher but it's he's got to they got to learn how to book it 743 00:59:08,720 --> 00:59:15,280 in the right way for it to really come off as being effective and for Sammy to go from two years ago 744 00:59:15,280 --> 00:59:20,320 I think him and Gunther went almost 30 minutes of WrestleMania and this year he gets seven so 745 00:59:20,320 --> 00:59:24,080 there you go that's that kind of shows you the difference between WrestleMania now WrestleMania 746 00:59:24,080 --> 00:59:29,120 even just two years ago next match here is the demon Finn Balor defeating down in a Mysterio in a 747 00:59:29,120 --> 00:59:33,280 Street Fighter you and I both have the demon win this one the presentation is one of the best and 748 00:59:33,280 --> 00:59:38,880 hopefully we get to see more of him looks like Finn Balor's completely gone retro retro even as 749 00:59:38,880 --> 00:59:43,200 the way he was performing on on Ron Monday was like old-school Finn Balor out there 750 00:59:43,200 --> 00:59:50,400 Dom did get more offense and on the demon than I expected but again it wasn't like an insanely 751 00:59:50,400 --> 00:59:56,800 crazy match or anything like that this is I don't know just it was fine it was fine for what it was 752 00:59:56,800 --> 01:00:05,760 the demon defeats Dom yeah I'm struggling with what the judgment day isn't like I mean it wasn't 753 01:00:05,760 --> 01:00:12,160 a squash match and this is one of the things we're like hey if you would give me a three-minute 754 01:00:12,160 --> 01:00:18,240 squash match and that could have added a few minutes to Sammy and Trick you know or some other 755 01:00:18,240 --> 01:00:22,000 match on the card I've been fine with it I think everybody was kind of expecting a very very quick 756 01:00:22,000 --> 01:00:27,360 match it wasn't super quick but like you could have just done the squash and been fine with it just 757 01:00:27,360 --> 01:00:32,960 played off as like Dom has no idea how to handle a demon much like Chad Gable had to go learn 758 01:00:32,960 --> 01:00:38,800 about luchadors Dom has to go figure out to beat demons you could have done a storyline like that 759 01:00:38,800 --> 01:00:42,160 and given you know Trick and Sammy and extra three or four minutes and we would have been a little 760 01:00:42,160 --> 01:00:50,640 bit happier but the presentation of the demon and everything goes into that is great I like the way 761 01:00:50,640 --> 01:00:57,120 you refer to his Finn Balor going retro like I like that as well I mean because this is a guy who 762 01:00:57,120 --> 01:01:03,040 was presented as a former world champion and for the better part of the last six years been mid-car 763 01:01:03,040 --> 01:01:07,760 I mean he's had multiple world title shots but they never he never felt like he was a real threat 764 01:01:07,760 --> 01:01:13,840 to win and maybe if we go back to that old school Finn Balor we can get him back towards the top of 765 01:01:13,840 --> 01:01:18,240 the car because I think he's still one of the best in-ring performers in the world today and kind 766 01:01:18,240 --> 01:01:23,040 of deserves his flowers whenever he can get him I think that's the thing is I just did not have any 767 01:01:23,040 --> 01:01:26,720 way that Dom is serious winning this match like the minute they announced the demon would be there 768 01:01:26,720 --> 01:01:32,080 it's like okay well Dom's not winning so because almost like a squash match at that point but Dom 769 01:01:32,080 --> 01:01:36,400 got a lot got a lot of offense in more than we've probably seen with the demon and sometimes so the 770 01:01:36,400 --> 01:01:42,080 demon defeats Dom's Terry on a street fight next match here Rea Ripley defeating Jade Cargill to win 771 01:01:42,080 --> 01:01:47,600 the WWE Women's Championship I had Rea Dr. Trae and Jade Cargill I did love the finishing sequence 772 01:01:47,600 --> 01:01:53,680 for the reverse of Jade it into Rip Died I thought both women had some pretty good chemistry in the 773 01:01:53,680 --> 01:01:58,160 ring and I have a feeling now with Rea officially making the move we were just back down that we get 774 01:01:58,160 --> 01:02:03,840 to see more of this on Friday nights which should be really good it was a very enjoyable match I'm 775 01:02:03,840 --> 01:02:08,560 interested to hear what Dr. Trae thought about Adam well you haven't seen this yet Adam Weetzman 776 01:02:08,560 --> 01:02:13,120 becoming the guest commentator for this match a guy who basically paid to sit ringside next to 777 01:02:13,120 --> 01:02:16,960 Wade Barrett and Michael Klaude can't wait to hear those thoughts when you eventually get to see 778 01:02:16,960 --> 01:02:22,240 this but Rea Ripley defeating Jade Cargill fun match WWE Women's Champion once again Rea Ripley 779 01:02:22,240 --> 01:02:33,760 who is an Adam what or what is an Adam Weetzman so it's um way to you somebody paid on location 780 01:02:33,760 --> 01:02:41,360 to sit at the commentary but for the match yeah and his name is Adam random random random person 781 01:02:41,360 --> 01:02:49,360 like no no background on this thing at all none at all Adam Adam Weetzman he is um you know he has a 782 01:02:49,360 --> 01:02:56,400 Wikipedia page he does he's an American entrepreneur he's the owner and chief executive officer 783 01:02:56,400 --> 01:03:01,440 officer of upstate shredding Weetzman Recycling a scrap metal processing company had headed quarter 784 01:03:01,440 --> 01:03:12,560 in Oswigo uh a Wago New York he is also involved in crypto and back in let me see here so he set 785 01:03:12,560 --> 01:03:19,200 ringside and he served like a couple months in jail in the early 2000s because why the hell not 786 01:03:19,200 --> 01:03:25,680 um yeah I forget the problem in York I mean doesn't everybody you live in Jeff you live out there 787 01:03:25,680 --> 01:03:30,320 isn't everybody in New York has been at least a year in federal prison about that yeah we all kind of 788 01:03:30,320 --> 01:03:38,000 do our time when you're born you just kind of do it so yeah okay like I'm looking at the news reports 789 01:03:38,000 --> 01:03:42,960 on this it's like Central New York's Adam Weetzman makes surprise appearance you're asking me 790 01:03:42,960 --> 01:03:48,400 it's a surprise because nobody knows who the f*ck he is there you go that's the surprise I have 791 01:03:48,400 --> 01:03:52,880 figured out though that now I can go to Rockets City and be like hey Barry we can just have fans 792 01:03:52,880 --> 01:03:56,800 like have a fan give you like 500 bucks that you sit next to me on the commentary table if you 793 01:03:56,800 --> 01:04:04,400 want to make some extra money at the shows um I mean that is I'm glad I haven't watched that because 794 01:04:04,400 --> 01:04:11,040 I probably would have thrown something at its TV um but for Jade in for for one I'm like I am 795 01:04:11,040 --> 01:04:16,000 relying on you for some of the reviews on these matches so for you to say Ria and Jade and Jade 796 01:04:16,000 --> 01:04:22,480 didn't look horrible at WrestleMania that's a huge compliment because we've critiqued Jade in 797 01:04:22,480 --> 01:04:29,120 ring ability for a long time and Ria is not the best in ring performer she's good but she's not I 798 01:04:29,120 --> 01:04:34,480 mean she's not one of those oh Ria can wrestle a broomstick and make it look good that's not Ria 799 01:04:34,480 --> 01:04:39,360 that's Becky that's Bailey that's there's a different level to that so for those two to go out 800 01:04:39,360 --> 01:04:45,280 there and have a good enjoyable match and have a sequence towards the finish where Jeff goes that 801 01:04:45,280 --> 01:04:51,760 was really good I'm gonna give it to props I do like the fact and we we address this a couple 802 01:04:51,760 --> 01:04:59,120 weeks ago that does Ria go to smack down if she wins permanently I do like that they you brought 803 01:04:59,120 --> 01:05:04,480 that up they addressed it on Monday night the storyline makes sense I'm also excited because that 804 01:05:04,480 --> 01:05:09,680 means Damien and Ria are on the same show and I always like when those two are together for some 805 01:05:09,680 --> 01:05:14,720 reason I mean they are like best friends so having those two in the same show you can do stuff with 806 01:05:14,720 --> 01:05:22,560 that down the line as well it also kind of takes out the log jam that is Monday night raw because you 807 01:05:22,560 --> 01:05:29,520 had so many I mean you look at that roster right now like there's a lot of big name women in this 808 01:05:29,520 --> 01:05:36,320 division right now and moving Ria to smack down kind of takes a plug out and kind of lets the talent 809 01:05:36,320 --> 01:05:41,200 kind of flow through because we just saw you know Saul Ruka we've seen Roxanne Perez hasn't done 810 01:05:41,200 --> 01:05:46,960 anything in like six months there's a lot of talent and moving Ria to smack down where I kind of feel 811 01:05:46,960 --> 01:05:53,120 like the talent has been lacking on that side makes a ton of sense so I like the moves here and you've 812 01:05:53,120 --> 01:05:59,280 got me really interested to go back and just watch this match to hear what this person says during the 813 01:05:59,280 --> 01:06:05,440 match I don't spoil or he says absolutely nothing and he just sits there so it's it's crazy it was very 814 01:06:05,440 --> 01:06:11,760 wild thing which is kind of on par with this is a billionaire yeah yeah you know that he's a billionaire 815 01:06:11,760 --> 01:06:16,480 I did I run up a lot on this guy more than I ever thought I would have but about Friday of last week 816 01:06:16,480 --> 01:06:23,600 and finally the last match year Roman Reigns defeats CM Punk to win the World of Weight Championship 817 01:06:23,600 --> 01:06:30,640 Dutre and I both had CM Punk in this one this match was great heck of a match the finish was really 818 01:06:30,640 --> 01:06:35,600 good it kind of leaned into the whole CM Punk as old narrative that I that Roman Reigns was pushing 819 01:06:35,600 --> 01:06:41,360 where he was basically exhausted and couldn't keep up anymore the build of this match had its ups 820 01:06:41,360 --> 01:06:49,280 and downs I think was mostly good and the match itself was very good it was a really good match 821 01:06:49,280 --> 01:06:57,040 it's on par with probably I think it may be the best match of the entire weekend so spoiler 822 01:06:57,040 --> 01:07:03,360 the load of my match of the night it does feel like Roman versus Oba is coming at some point there's 823 01:07:03,360 --> 01:07:07,840 rumblings at Roman versus Gunther's coming at some point what we learned in this past Monday's 824 01:07:07,840 --> 01:07:16,800 edition of Raw is that Roman versus Jacob Fattu is coming as early as early May for backlash 825 01:07:16,800 --> 01:07:22,560 in Tampa which is a surprise because Jacob Fattu is performing on Smackdown Punk is heading in 826 01:07:22,560 --> 01:07:28,800 direction potentially with Cody Rhodes here pretty soon so yeah I just love this match doctor again 827 01:07:28,800 --> 01:07:33,520 I know you haven't seen yet highly recommended can't for wait for you to check it out but Roman Reigns 828 01:07:33,520 --> 01:07:39,120 defeating CM Punk integrate match to win the World of Weight Championship you don't want to think 829 01:07:39,120 --> 01:07:45,920 I love about wrestling Jeff is its unpredictability so the two main event matches you and I both got 830 01:07:45,920 --> 01:07:51,680 wrong yeah we both got the main event matches wrong Jeff we don't know what the F we're talking about 831 01:07:51,680 --> 01:07:58,400 so I was like feet again to watch some of the stuff from Monday night and the promo is leading to us 832 01:07:58,400 --> 01:08:05,440 I did not doubt this match would deliver because I mean Punk still even you know in his old age 833 01:08:05,440 --> 01:08:11,280 which I take that the grain of salt because he's I think a year younger than me and Romans no 834 01:08:11,280 --> 01:08:17,360 spring chicken I mean he's a well seasoned chicken at this point I knew they would deliver because 835 01:08:17,360 --> 01:08:22,560 there's a level of pride that goes into being a performer WrestleMania and I knew these two would 836 01:08:22,560 --> 01:08:29,680 deliver one hell of a match it is surprising in a sense that we're going the direction of Roman on top 837 01:08:29,680 --> 01:08:37,760 given his schedule and availability where Punk seems to be more the workhorse but hey AJ lost 838 01:08:37,760 --> 01:08:42,800 Punk loses they can take a little bit of a break a little bit of a refresher because Punk has been 839 01:08:42,800 --> 01:08:47,840 grinding really really hard the last six months since he had to ascend to the top of the car because 840 01:08:47,840 --> 01:08:53,520 of injuries to Seth and everything else so I totally get it I get why they make them move 841 01:08:53,520 --> 01:09:00,400 Roman is box office it isn't where that we live in a world now where it's Roman Cody Rhea and live 842 01:09:00,400 --> 01:09:06,160 sometimes no matter how things how much things change some things remain the same and we always kind 843 01:09:06,160 --> 01:09:11,760 of go back to the ones we can always count on that is very very true so pay-per-view prediction records 844 01:09:11,760 --> 01:09:15,440 for WrestleMania Sunday I went three and three Dr. Tray went three and three we come out of this 845 01:09:15,440 --> 01:09:27,360 both of us 12 and nine here in 2026 you said I was one ahead of you on night one yeah I was one ahead 846 01:09:27,360 --> 01:09:34,800 of you prior to that oh so overall yeah I might be playing for Russell Maid we tied I'm like I beat 847 01:09:34,800 --> 01:09:40,000 you by one on a Russell Maid no no no overall overall for the year okay 12 and nine no no no 848 01:09:40,000 --> 01:09:44,080 four and three on Saturday I went you went five and two I went four and three on Saturday and then 849 01:09:44,080 --> 01:09:49,440 both of us going three and three on Sunday um Dr. Tray know you haven't seen Sunday yet so do you want 850 01:09:49,440 --> 01:09:55,520 to hold off on your rating and match of the night now I mean like I'm leaning into your reviews 851 01:09:55,520 --> 01:10:02,000 here okay I'll go first I I I'm from everything I've read everything I've seen night two I'll give it 852 01:10:02,000 --> 01:10:07,680 a four I look from the build up everybody every's tell me if it now if I watch it and it's not a 853 01:10:07,680 --> 01:10:12,080 four I will come back and recamp my vote and lower it but I'm going to solid 4.0 for night two 854 01:10:12,080 --> 01:10:17,280 and uh pumpkin rains will be my match of the night and if it's not I will recant and change my 855 01:10:17,280 --> 01:10:21,920 fix next week so it's funny you said it for you gave it a four I went 4.1 and I gave reins and 856 01:10:21,920 --> 01:10:28,080 punk my match of the night as well so there you go full WrestleMania recap interview I think the last 857 01:10:28,080 --> 01:10:32,960 thing that will bring up here Dr. Tray and when we touched upon a not too long ago is just really 858 01:10:32,960 --> 01:10:38,800 the vibe of WrestleMania 42 overall did not feel like WrestleMania it felt like another PLE 859 01:10:38,800 --> 01:10:44,240 and I hope the WWE out TKO takes a step back heading to WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia where 860 01:10:44,240 --> 01:10:50,240 I don't know how many like fans are going to travel over there I mean it may just be filled with a lot 861 01:10:50,240 --> 01:10:55,600 of folks that are living in Saudi Arabia which is fine what we saw with Royal Rumble not that great 862 01:10:55,600 --> 01:11:00,240 at all um I don't know if we're going to get a normal WrestleMania crowd like we typically see 863 01:11:00,240 --> 01:11:08,240 here in the United States um a year from now and I think WWE and TKO need to go and do whatever they 864 01:11:08,240 --> 01:11:13,920 can to make sure that WrestleMania 43 delivers I think whatever they've done recently creatively 865 01:11:13,920 --> 01:11:20,240 whatever they've done with TKO getting involved uh it needs to stop they need to get back to that 866 01:11:20,240 --> 01:11:29,200 was it 2022 to 2025-ish run creatively that they were going on because they just it just feels 867 01:11:29,200 --> 01:11:37,120 exhausting it's um it was just a very weird WrestleMania weekend and that's because like 38-39-40 868 01:11:37,120 --> 01:11:43,680 was so good 41 was good not in that same like trilogy that I'll call it now and just 42 overall 869 01:11:43,680 --> 01:11:49,360 just was not not up to par with other WrestleMania and that's the biggest thing for me is it just was 870 01:11:49,360 --> 01:11:54,400 not up to snubbed for what we typically see from WrestleMania and um I think that's my biggest 871 01:11:54,400 --> 01:11:58,960 takeaway Dr. Tray as I really hope WWE and TKO kind of learned from this past weekend are listening 872 01:11:58,960 --> 01:12:03,600 to what fans are saying and they get back to making WrestleMania feel like WrestleMania that's 873 01:12:03,600 --> 01:12:11,440 that's to me is like the biggest takeaway overall yeah I think WrestleMania from from everything I've 874 01:12:11,440 --> 01:12:19,920 watched and read about it it felt shotgun in a sense it felt the matches felt rushed uh the 875 01:12:19,920 --> 01:12:24,080 matches that you should feel like you should get a little more time didn't give as much you made 876 01:12:24,080 --> 01:12:30,160 event matches got good time but you know live in Stephanie getting a few minutes I mean AJ and 877 01:12:30,160 --> 01:12:34,080 Becky only getting a few minutes I mean he's just some of your top people and you're only giving a 878 01:12:34,080 --> 01:12:40,320 small window to showcase her talents I will say the one one solid takeaway of having out of this is 879 01:12:40,320 --> 01:12:45,760 you got Oba family getting a huge win over Brock Lesnar you got Trick Williams winning the US title 880 01:12:45,760 --> 01:12:50,960 you know Braun Breaker had a big moment Gunther who's established but once again Gunther's 881 01:12:50,960 --> 01:12:57,120 beating Seth Rollins you are starting to see some of the younger crop of talent matriculate through 882 01:12:57,120 --> 01:13:03,280 the system towards the top of the card we also saw him flex a talent coming in you know Monday night 883 01:13:03,280 --> 01:13:10,480 we got Joe Henry making his raw debut next Monday night so some of the younger talent or you know 884 01:13:10,480 --> 01:13:15,040 people we've seen in XC are kind of moving up to system which also means that we're gonna see some 885 01:13:15,040 --> 01:13:20,320 people getting fired here soon that's just the nature of the beast usually post-Restyl Manu we 886 01:13:20,320 --> 01:13:28,080 see some cuts and TKO is a non is a it was a profit based business so I wouldn't doubt that we're 887 01:13:28,080 --> 01:13:32,880 gonna see some cuts coming up soon but you know some of the people that we're clamoring for are 888 01:13:32,880 --> 01:13:37,520 starting to get a light shined on them I mean we saw Saul Rooka getting a big Saul Rooka you and I 889 01:13:37,520 --> 01:13:41,360 have been talking about for two years on the show she's getting in there with with Liv Morgan 890 01:13:41,360 --> 01:13:47,360 Monday night I mean we're seeing that crop of talent starts to rise up through the system and 891 01:13:47,360 --> 01:13:52,240 it creates some more you know kind of dream match scenarios down the line I mean we oba Femme and 892 01:13:52,240 --> 01:13:56,480 Roman raises here we're talking about Jacob and Roman I mean these are some matches that you and I 893 01:13:56,480 --> 01:14:01,600 have been wanting to see for a couple years now and these could actually come to light in the very 894 01:14:01,600 --> 01:14:06,080 near future and Roman came out I think after the show on the post show stuff saying that he is going 895 01:14:06,080 --> 01:14:11,280 to be around full time for the summer so big things coming so maybe this is just kind of a 896 01:14:11,280 --> 01:14:17,520 resonating it's more of a launch point than the kudra of the storylines that we've typically seen 897 01:14:17,520 --> 01:14:22,000 and hopefully you can carry over to russimane 43 because it's just you know the vibe just did not 898 01:14:22,000 --> 01:14:27,200 feel like russimane like we typically see with that being said let's close up shop on this week's 899
