- 2:42Speaker 3: every day for the last week and almost two weeks
- 2:45Speaker 3: or so, by going out on the road checking in
- 2:47Speaker 3: with Rob Reel from her sister station ninety six to
- 2:49Speaker 3: one Superstar Country KWS, who is continuing his walk his
- 2:53Speaker 3: w October if you will, from Charleston and Morgantown for
- 2:56Speaker 3: WU Children's Hospital. Sir Rob good morning.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Good morning. How are things back in the Friendly Confines
- 3:03Speaker 5: at eleven eleven Virginia Street E.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Things are good. I've got to Rich the realtor in
- 3:08Speaker 3: studio with me this morning. He was going to be
- 3:10Speaker 3: standing by next Have you seen any leads on homes
- 3:13Speaker 3: that we could possibly play a Rich the realtor sign
- 3:15Speaker 3: in front of while you're out out on the trail.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Well, I mean, if he's willing to work in the
- 3:21Speaker 5: north central part of the state, I've certainly seen some
- 3:24Speaker 5: good things. In fact, I just walked past a house
- 3:27Speaker 5: with a lovely yard and a fence and a wonderful
- 3:31Speaker 5: German shepherd completely flummeted by what I was doing. The
- 3:35Speaker 5: dog could not seem to figure out that there's there's
- 3:38Speaker 5: a human walking by. What's going on here?
- 3:40Speaker 3: So Rich, there you go.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I appreciate that I should have bought ahead and
- 3:45Speaker 1: give Robbed some of my cards. He could just pass
- 3:47Speaker 1: them out along the way on along end like a
- 3:49Speaker 1: sandwich board, like a like a walking sandwichboards.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Yeah, just stop along the way.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be passing out along the
- 3:56Speaker 5: way before this is.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Where are you? Where are you this morning?
- 3:59Speaker 6: Rob?
- 4:01Speaker 5: So I headed out of a crossed Clarksburg yesterday. So
- 4:05Speaker 5: now I'm on nineteen, I've passed fifty. I'm on my
- 4:10Speaker 5: way toward if you know, Shinston, I'm on that way.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Enterprise is the target. But I got to tell you,
- 4:17Speaker 5: with a short day yesterday, and I'm feeling pretty good,
- 4:19Speaker 5: and mother nature has been so good to me. Mountain
- 4:21Speaker 5: Mama has really been showing off. I might actually get
- 4:25Speaker 5: farther than I planned for today. And the reason that's
- 4:29Speaker 5: good news is we are well on track. Somebody knock
- 4:33Speaker 5: on some wood to show up at WV. You meta
- 4:36Speaker 5: some childrens with this giant check on Thursday, early afternoon
- 4:40Speaker 5: at this point.
- 4:40Speaker 3: But you've got this thing knocked in the head right now.
- 4:43Speaker 3: I mean you're pretty close, right, I'm.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Close enough to be a feared about it. I'm a
- 4:48Speaker 5: little scared because just about everything is going right.
- 4:51Speaker 6: I know.
- 4:52Speaker 5: When we talked yesterday, I talked about it being a
- 4:54Speaker 5: day that we built in for Murphy and Murphy struck,
- 4:59Speaker 5: but not the way I expected. I ended up having
- 5:01Speaker 5: to deal with some uh some personal non work type stuff.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Nothing bad, nobody's certain, you know, but it was just
- 5:08Speaker 5: one of those that I had to take care of
- 5:10Speaker 5: some paperwork yesterday or it was gonna be a real problem.
- 5:15Speaker 5: So you know, when when you when you, when you
- 5:18Speaker 5: give Murphy his respect, Murphy gives it back to you.
- 5:22Speaker 3: And this is Murphy's law. We're not talking about Matt Murphy.
- 5:24Speaker 3: We want to make sure people realize that not not
- 5:26Speaker 3: not not reverencing mac guitar Murphy our employee here. And
- 5:30Speaker 3: it's going to be another beautiful day. It is going
- 5:32Speaker 3: to be a little bit warmer, which got me a
- 5:34Speaker 3: little concerned about you because they did say that today
- 5:36Speaker 3: or tomorrow, uh, we could possibly set records for high temperature.
- 5:41Speaker 3: So so just be careful not to do and stay hydrated,
- 5:44Speaker 3: my friend.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Thanks to the beverage market in Zenwater, I've been able
- 5:48Speaker 5: to do exactly that, and I'm smart enough to dress
- 5:52Speaker 5: in layers. That's been very important with us having basically
- 5:56Speaker 5: winter in the morning, uh, spring by midday, summer in
- 5:59Speaker 5: the a afternoon, and then fall in the evening all
- 6:01Speaker 5: four seasons Parsley, Rosemary, Stage and time.
- 6:04Speaker 3: All together altogether and on just be careful with the
- 6:07Speaker 3: if you get really really warm, I don't we don't
- 6:09Speaker 3: get We don't want to get an indecent exposure charge
- 6:12Speaker 3: on you.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Okay, Yes, when I talk about going naked, that means
- 6:16Speaker 5: no media, That means no earbuds and no devices or
- 6:20Speaker 5: anything like that. It does not mean that I'm walking nicked.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Nobody wants that. See, he's been in West Virginia long enough,
- 6:27Speaker 3: Rich to say nicked and not naked. We appreciate that
- 6:30Speaker 3: you get n e kk. I d appreciate that. And
- 6:33Speaker 3: big shout out to the folks of Panhandle Cleaning and
- 6:35Speaker 3: Restoration because they're making this whole thing possible. Rob, be
- 6:38Speaker 3: careful out there and we'll talk again this time tomorrow morning.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Thanks my friend, Yes, sir, thank you. And a reminder,
- 6:44Speaker 3: then again, if you're not following ninety six one kws
- 6:46Speaker 3: on Facebook, make sure you do, because Rob has been
- 6:49Speaker 3: posting all kinds of not of him nicked, I promise
- 6:52Speaker 3: you that, but all kinds of pictures along the way.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And Rich, I mean, it's it's a beauty. If you
- 6:57Speaker 3: got to walk twenty miles a day, would which is
- 7:00Speaker 3: what he used to average it, it's a great time.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Because his picture has been absolutely fabulous. Man sure has. Yes,
- 7:04Speaker 3: that voice you hear is Rich, the realtor Meekes Realty Rich.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Good morning, welcome to the show. Waking up a little
- 7:09Speaker 3: happy this morning because of the Steelers win last night,
- 7:12Speaker 3: I'm sure. Yeah, that's always a good day. You never
- 7:14Speaker 3: know about that. Yeah, the wind was sealed by wvu's
- 7:18Speaker 3: Beanie Bishop with the interception on that he's starting off
- 7:21Speaker 3: really well. So all right, let's get to it. We
- 7:24Speaker 3: have you in once aboch So to talk about things
- 7:27Speaker 3: going on in the world of real estate overall. How
- 7:29Speaker 3: is the market right now?
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah, the market is still pretty strong. I mean, you know,
- 7:32Speaker 1: there's lots of things out there that are you know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: deterring buyers and you know, sellers are sitting on their homes.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It's kind of the same way they have been since COVID.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Really am I looked again this morning. We'll have like
- 7:43Speaker 1: six hundred and forty three active listings within our whole
- 7:46Speaker 1: Volleyboorg Reltors. It's eleven counties that we cover. Just for
- 7:50Speaker 1: those who have not heard this before, we used to
- 7:52Speaker 1: have carry somewhere around fifteen hundred active listings prior to COVID,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and then the inventory levels just dropped radically.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Why did the inventory levels drop because of COVID, You know.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Because prices have gone up. People were afraid During COVID,
- 8:02Speaker 1: people were afraid to move. They didn't want to get
- 8:04Speaker 1: They want people in their house with the germ. They
- 8:06Speaker 1: didn't want to go and look at houses with the
- 8:08Speaker 1: germ all that kind of stuff. And then as the
- 8:10Speaker 1: prices went up and people were trying to stay at
- 8:12Speaker 1: you know, just it got to be a vicious cycle
- 8:15Speaker 1: of seller sitting put.
- 8:18Speaker 7: So.
- 8:19Speaker 1: But you know, and we were talking to Jeff on
- 8:20Speaker 1: his way out that you know, for me, whether the
- 8:22Speaker 1: rate is you know, seven percent or whether it's four
- 8:25Speaker 1: percent or you know, hopefully gets down into the fours
- 8:27Speaker 1: again at some point. You know, the right time to
- 8:30Speaker 1: buy is really when you're ready to buy, you know,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and homes still are you know, listen, homes that are
- 8:35Speaker 1: in good shape and are ready to go. There are
- 8:36Speaker 1: still buyers out there for those homes. So when you're ready,
- 8:40Speaker 1: make it happen. Thirty year mortgage is not really the same,
- 8:45Speaker 1: you know, kind of finances that you have today, you'll
- 8:47Speaker 1: be able to refi that home. You may your plans
- 8:50Speaker 1: may change, you may sell, gain some equity. All that
- 8:52Speaker 1: stuff will happen over that long period of time. So
- 8:55Speaker 1: when you're ready, let's do it.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Talking to Rich the realtor makes realty to Dave Allen
- 8:58Speaker 3: showing five Indy Line, brightsh You and party Husband's pizza
- 9:00Speaker 3: were this month as your favorite Hustan's get a large
- 9:03Speaker 3: eighteenage Pepperoni pizza and an eight inch chocolate chip cookie
- 9:05Speaker 3: only twenty three ninety nine.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Rich.
- 9:07Speaker 3: As we head into the winter months, time change and
- 9:09Speaker 3: thinks coming up this weekend, is there a time that's
- 9:12Speaker 3: a better time. I know you said it's whenever you
- 9:14Speaker 3: want to, but you're looking at the seasons traditionally, you've
- 9:17Speaker 3: been doing this for a while. Is there a better
- 9:20Speaker 3: time to buy home? And when, statistically do more people
- 9:24Speaker 3: buy homes?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Statistically it's in the spring. There's just more sellers who
- 9:28Speaker 1: are forced into selling where they may not want to sell,
- 9:30Speaker 1: but they're you know, a job change happens and they're
- 9:33Speaker 1: trying to move, trying to find a place to get
- 9:35Speaker 1: to for the new school year, those kind of things.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So the more sellers will list, which create an opportunity
- 9:42Speaker 1: for you know, the buyers where there's just more inventory available.
- 9:45Speaker 1: So statistically it's the spring. You know, we used to
- 9:50Speaker 1: be that you would hear that, you know, during the
- 9:51Speaker 1: holiday season, in the winter months, you just don't sell
- 9:55Speaker 1: a lot of houses or whatever. But that with exception
- 9:58Speaker 1: of one of my years in real estate, November December
- 10:01Speaker 1: have been some of my busiest months. So you know, again,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I just kind of say the same thing. If you're
- 10:06Speaker 1: ready to buy, then you know, let's get it done.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But it's statistically more houses will be on the market
- 10:14Speaker 1: probably late February early March is when those sellers start
- 10:17Speaker 1: making those decisions about their summer.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Now, you know, because you're sponsor the show and every
- 10:22Speaker 3: week or every day, I you know, I have some
- 10:25Speaker 3: live copies we called into business to go over and
- 10:27Speaker 3: I've been talking about this one house located at seventy
- 10:31Speaker 3: five points at a drive in Scott Depot, fifty six
- 10:33Speaker 3: hundred square foot home, six bedrooms, two laundry rooms, full
- 10:38Speaker 3: house generated. This is this is nice home. I've seen
- 10:40Speaker 3: the pictures of it online. Man, this is a nice home.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's beautiful, and it's really about size and space.
- 10:46Speaker 1: So if you're looking, if you have the family and
- 10:48Speaker 1: you want the you want the space in your home
- 10:51Speaker 1: for you know, children or live in parents or whatever
- 10:54Speaker 1: you need.
- 10:55Speaker 3: This home has it.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's just it's got a probably well not probably, it's
- 10:59Speaker 1: got twenty three hundred square foot basement that's not included
- 11:02Speaker 1: in that fifty six hundred square feet in that basement
- 11:04Speaker 1: is just completely open to the to the exterior. It's
- 11:08Speaker 1: it's got a full gym in there with a sauna.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's it's just staggering amount of space that's there. And
- 11:14Speaker 1: it's it's ideally located right off of the thirty five
- 11:17Speaker 1: interchange and sixty four interchange in say Scott Depot in.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Putnam County, which is the place to be right now.
- 11:23Speaker 3: It is it seems like because we've seen such an
- 11:25Speaker 3: influx of people here recently. I know we talked about
- 11:29Speaker 3: with economic development, you know, with New Core. Even though
- 11:32Speaker 3: it's one county over, there's a lot of people, a
- 11:34Speaker 3: lot of people coming to Putnam County right now.
- 11:36Speaker 1: There sure are, so you know, this one gets them
- 11:38Speaker 1: on thirty five straight up there you can be you know,
- 11:40Speaker 1: you can be a New Core in less than a
- 11:41Speaker 1: half an hour from that location on points at a drive.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Aren't someone rich the today to use the term buyers representation.
- 11:49Speaker 3: What exactly does that mean? Buyer's representation?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yah, So this has kind of been in the national
- 11:53Speaker 1: news and I'm glad you brought it up. It just
- 11:55Speaker 1: kind of you know, first of all, everyone should know
- 11:57Speaker 1: that for the consumer, the National Association of Realtors opened
- 12:02Speaker 1: up a website. It's just facts dot Realtor, and it
- 12:05Speaker 1: is real Tour, not real a tour. There's no such
- 12:08Speaker 1: a in there, but real Tour. But you can go
- 12:10Speaker 1: all the consumers can go to that website. Now you
- 12:12Speaker 1: don't have to be a member and find all sorts
- 12:14Speaker 1: of consumer information about you know, how it impacts sellers,
- 12:17Speaker 1: how it impacts buyers.
- 12:20Speaker 3: The National or.
- 12:23Speaker 1: The class action lawsuit had us start August the seventeenth.
- 12:26Speaker 1: We started with we're not allowed to go into houses.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Now.
- 12:29Speaker 1: There's a couple of changes that were mandatory, and I
- 12:31Speaker 1: think probably the first thing to say is that all
- 12:34Speaker 1: commission and everything in real estate is always negotiable, and
- 12:39Speaker 1: it has been negotiable, it always will be negotiable. So
- 12:43Speaker 1: they wanted the buyers to have a representation agreement in
- 12:47Speaker 1: writing kind of outlining our fiduciary responsibilities to them. And
- 12:52Speaker 1: our fee structure, you know, and then sellers, if they
- 12:55Speaker 1: will still agreeable to pay that commission to the buyer's side,
- 12:59Speaker 1: then that's great. If not, then the buyer will have
- 13:01Speaker 1: to pay that side of it. We always try negotiate
- 13:04Speaker 1: that with all parties, whether that's buyer seller, but we
- 13:08Speaker 1: have to have that buyer's representation signed prior to any
- 13:11Speaker 1: you know, the term is when we're working with the buyer,
- 13:15Speaker 1: and that certainly starts with before we show a house.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So we're not allowed to enter a house even virtually,
- 13:20Speaker 1: we can't go into a house and show the house
- 13:22Speaker 1: without that buyer's representation in place. So I would just
- 13:26Speaker 1: encourage people. I'm certainly willing to answer this questions directly.
- 13:29Speaker 1: You can call or text me anytime, but also the
- 13:32Speaker 1: website of facts dot Realtor will help explain those things
- 13:35Speaker 1: to the detail. You can read about the lawsuit and
- 13:38Speaker 1: understand your rights. Keep in mind everything is always negotiable
- 13:43Speaker 1: in real estate, and that includes the commission.
- 13:45Speaker 3: And before you let you go into one of the
- 13:47Speaker 3: remind folks that you also do commercial properties as well,
- 13:49Speaker 3: not just residential. For sure, Yeah, for sure.
- 13:51Speaker 1: On the hunt now for a couple of national things,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and you know certainly have local commercial activity going with
- 13:58Speaker 1: a with a local nonprofit group.
- 14:00Speaker 3: For sure you're gonna give us any hints, is what
- 14:01Speaker 3: it is. I'm not okay, I just just thought i'd
- 14:04Speaker 3: throw it out there. Where can people get ahold of you?
- 14:06Speaker 6: Rich?

- 18:02Speaker 12: That's that's an old joke from the last time I
- 18:03Speaker 12: was here.
- 18:04Speaker 3: That's an old joke from last time he were here,
- 18:06Speaker 3: mister cole Off. Uh so, uh, how's the campaign been
- 18:09Speaker 3: so far?
- 18:09Speaker 12: Well, I mean, for me, it's been it's been great.
- 18:12Speaker 12: I've talked to tons of people and knocked on a
- 18:14Speaker 12: bunch of doors, been to a bunch of meetings, and
- 18:17Speaker 12: I have stayed Dave, I've stayed positive throughout this whole campaign.
- 18:21Speaker 12: I've heard you talk I think you have a couple
- 18:24Speaker 12: of folks running for kind of commission on next week,
- 18:26Speaker 12: and I've heard on your show a couple of times
- 18:28Speaker 12: you said that you know, in your perception, that's been
- 18:30Speaker 12: a clean campaign, which is what I've run. And you
- 18:34Speaker 12: can anyone out there can fact check me right now.
- 18:36Speaker 12: My social media is all positive, my website is all positive. Uh,
- 18:42Speaker 12: you know you're not going to see any negative attack
- 18:45Speaker 12: ads from me. But one of the reasons I'm on
- 18:48Speaker 12: here today, Dave, is because that is not the kind
- 18:51Speaker 12: of campaign that my opponent is running. I've tried to
- 18:55Speaker 12: stay away from that as best I can, And there
- 18:57Speaker 12: are multiple reasons. One is I just don't think people
- 18:59Speaker 12: like it, especially at the local level. National politics, we
- 19:02Speaker 12: can't resolve those issues here locally. I think to make
- 19:05Speaker 12: things positive, we've got to build from the ground up.
- 19:08Speaker 12: We have to see compromise and realize that we're all
- 19:10Speaker 12: friends and neighbors here. You know, this isn't Donald Trump
- 19:13Speaker 12: from Florida and Kamala Harrison California and neverthe two shall meet.
- 19:16Speaker 12: I mean, we all live and work in the same place.
- 19:18Speaker 12: So one of the things I always try to do
- 19:20Speaker 12: is I try to get along with everybody, whether you
- 19:22Speaker 12: vote from me or not, whether we agree on issues
- 19:24Speaker 12: or not. I use an example all the time. No
- 19:26Speaker 12: one I love more in the world than my wife, Dave,
- 19:28Speaker 12: but she and I don't always agree. We've got a
- 19:30Speaker 12: compromise on issues as well, and as voters and representatives.
- 19:34Speaker 12: We have to do that as well. For four straight
- 19:37Speaker 12: weeks now, Dave, four straight weeks, my opponent has run
- 19:41Speaker 12: a hyper negative campaign against me. She doesn't talk about
- 19:45Speaker 12: her own platform or ideas. I know the reason why.
- 19:48Speaker 12: But the last time I was on your show, it
- 19:50Speaker 12: was at your request to discuss the stay at White
- 19:52Speaker 12: press release that she signed off on, which was a
- 19:56Speaker 12: just a really strange in my opinion, you know, really
- 19:58Speaker 12: negative strange press relie.
- 20:01Speaker 3: So I came on.
- 20:01Speaker 12: That was the very first time that I talked about her.
- 20:04Speaker 12: I haven't brought her up since I haven't done one
- 20:06Speaker 12: negative attack out on her.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Zero.
- 20:08Speaker 12: All my mailers are about me, my platform, and my family,
- 20:11Speaker 12: my ideas. All my social media has stayed positive. I
- 20:15Speaker 12: keep it pretty lighthearted when I can. I joke on
- 20:16Speaker 12: there when I can, just to try to bring people
- 20:18Speaker 12: together and unify them. My opponent sends out negative mailers
- 20:22Speaker 12: about me every single week over the past month, and
- 20:25Speaker 12: she's now running negative TV commercials about me. And this
- 20:28Speaker 12: is one aside from knowing that voters don't like this, Dave. Again,
- 20:33Speaker 12: we live here together, and you know, this woman and
- 20:35Speaker 12: I don't hang out together, but we know each other.
- 20:38Speaker 12: She has a kid who lives here, a teenager. I
- 20:42Speaker 12: have kids, I got one in college, but I have
- 20:44Speaker 12: two teenagers. You still live here. For the past two weeks,
- 20:47Speaker 12: my kids have come home and told me that they
- 20:49Speaker 12: have seen negative ads about me, where they do things
- 20:51Speaker 12: like they photoshop you and make you look terrible in
- 20:54Speaker 12: a picture, Like they'll pick out like a where you're
- 20:56Speaker 12: on a TV interview and they'll they'll make us your
- 20:58Speaker 12: face looks bad where they freeze the frame and you
- 21:00Speaker 12: look bad, and they'll make it granny and black and white,
- 21:03Speaker 12: and then they'll put up negative comments about you on
- 21:05Speaker 12: the ad, and my kids have seen those. Just last night,
- 21:08Speaker 12: my kids friends, a couple of them texted my kids
- 21:11Speaker 12: and said, hey, I saw a commercial about your dad
- 21:13Speaker 12: on TV, saying that he was a terrible person, just
- 21:15Speaker 12: kind of joking about it among themselves. But it's still
- 21:17Speaker 12: not the kind of thing you want to see. And
- 21:20Speaker 12: I've stayed away from that again, recognizing that this woman
- 21:22Speaker 12: and her wife and their child live here in this community,
- 21:24Speaker 12: and I don't want to be negative towards them and
- 21:26Speaker 12: upset her family, who I also know. But that's not
- 21:29Speaker 12: been her attack. So my focus is always to try
- 21:32Speaker 12: to talk about jobs need economy, talk about education, talk
- 21:36Speaker 12: about infrastructure, because I know, Dave, that those are the
- 21:38Speaker 12: issues that matter most to voters. That is what they
- 21:41Speaker 12: want us to focus on as representatives. They want us
- 21:43Speaker 12: to seek positive change for them and their families on
- 21:47Speaker 12: those issues. And far and away the number one issue
- 21:50Speaker 12: for voters at jobs need economy. We already know that
- 21:52Speaker 12: from common sense, but I've also polled it myself because
- 21:55Speaker 12: I want to make sure that I accurately represent my district,
- 21:58Speaker 12: and jobs need Economy leads. That leads all the issues.
- 22:01Speaker 12: It's not even close close second. So that's what I
- 22:04Speaker 12: have talked about. I just want to preface what I'm
- 22:07Speaker 12: about to say next because I want your listeners to
- 22:10Speaker 12: know that that is what I've done ever since day
- 22:12Speaker 12: one when I started this campaign. It's what I focused
- 22:14Speaker 12: on the legislature. But at some point you've got to
- 22:17Speaker 12: respond to the negativity, and so my opponent has gone
- 22:21Speaker 12: hyper negative on me. She's accused me of things that
- 22:24Speaker 12: are just.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Flat out not true.
- 22:27Speaker 12: And the reason why she has to attack me, Dave,
- 22:29Speaker 12: is because she can't talk about her own ideas. It's
- 22:31Speaker 12: my understanding. She'll be on here later this week. So
- 22:33Speaker 12: I'm going to talk a little bit about her platform
- 22:36Speaker 12: or the people who support her, and then if she
- 22:38Speaker 12: wants to discuss that herself, she can.
- 22:40Speaker 5: So.
- 22:41Speaker 12: One of the groups that endorse my opponent is a
- 22:44Speaker 12: It is an openly socialist political organization. Again, I've never
- 22:47Speaker 12: brought this up, and I wouldn't have. I would have
- 22:49Speaker 12: never talked about my opponent if she hadn't been doing
- 22:51Speaker 12: this for a straight month on me. But I've got
- 22:53Speaker 12: to do a compare and contrast now because at some point,
- 22:56Speaker 12: I think voters expect you to respond, and you got
- 22:58Speaker 12: to fight back and defend yourself at some point. So
- 23:01Speaker 12: I focus on jobs in an economy. She's been endorsed
- 23:04Speaker 12: by an extremist socialist organization, and she put that endorsement
- 23:08Speaker 12: up several months ago on her social media, but she
- 23:10Speaker 12: never puts it on her direct mailers. I don't see
- 23:12Speaker 12: her putting that on her TV commercials. She knows that
- 23:14Speaker 12: the voters in this district do not support that, and
- 23:17Speaker 12: you can't campaign on that, so she chooses to attack
- 23:21Speaker 12: me instead in a personal way. These have been personal attacks.
- 23:25Speaker 13: You know.
- 23:26Speaker 12: She has a radical agenda on just about every issue
- 23:30Speaker 12: that you can think of if you look at her
- 23:33Speaker 12: public filings for her political donations, Dave, this is all public.
- 23:37Speaker 12: You can look at mine, you can look at hers.
- 23:40Speaker 12: My donations, Dave, close to approaching ninety percent. It's well
- 23:46Speaker 12: into the eighties. Close to ninety percent of my donations
- 23:49Speaker 12: come either from in the district or definitely within the
- 23:51Speaker 12: state of West Virginia. You've got some like I've got
- 23:53Speaker 12: some friends I went to school with who donated to
- 23:55Speaker 12: me from out of state. And there's some business organizations
- 23:57Speaker 12: and some labor organizations too that donated to me out
- 23:59Speaker 12: of state. But those are the exception to the rule.
- 24:02Speaker 12: Close to ninety percent of my donations are in district
- 24:04Speaker 12: or in state. The overwhelming majority of my opponent's donations,
- 24:09Speaker 12: somewhere around sixty five plus percent, are not only not
- 24:13Speaker 12: from our district where we live, Dave, they're not even
- 24:15Speaker 12: from West Virginia. So one question I think my opponent
- 24:19Speaker 12: should want to answer, since she's taken this money and
- 24:22Speaker 12: she seeks it, is why have the majority of her
- 24:25Speaker 12: donors donated to her not only not from where we live,
- 24:29Speaker 12: but outside of West Virginia. And the answer is, I'll
- 24:32Speaker 12: answer the question for her is because she is a
- 24:34Speaker 12: radical activist, and the activists have to raise money from
- 24:37Speaker 12: somewhere else than where we live because locals do not
- 24:42Speaker 12: just the average everyday voter in our district does not
- 24:44Speaker 12: support her position, especially on economic issues, because she's been
- 24:48Speaker 12: endorsed by an openly socialist organizations, So she gets to
- 24:51Speaker 12: get those activist dollars from somewhere else. So that's the
- 24:55Speaker 12: first thing I will bring up, is that, you know,
- 24:57Speaker 12: why is it that an activist client is so interested
- 25:01Speaker 12: in seeing her get elected and trying to pick off
- 25:04Speaker 12: just a local legislative seat in the state of West Virginia.
- 25:06Speaker 12: They can't win the governor's mansion, they can't win a
- 25:08Speaker 12: US senator's race. So the activists are trying to win
- 25:11Speaker 12: some of these local races, including mine, and she's their candidate.
- 25:16Speaker 12: One of it's based upon her platform, and you know,
- 25:18Speaker 12: part of her platform, for example, Dave, is she openly
- 25:22Speaker 12: advocates for the concept of equity. Now, equity is different
- 25:25Speaker 12: than equality. I am one thousand percent. It's not a
- 25:29Speaker 12: real number, but I'm still one thousand percent in favor
- 25:31Speaker 12: of equality. My job as a lawyer, I actually represent
- 25:35Speaker 12: people who've had their equal rights violated. That's part of
- 25:38Speaker 12: what I do. I live this. I don't just say it,
- 25:40Speaker 12: I live it. So I'm a thousand percent for equality.
- 25:42Speaker 12: That means everybody gets a fair shot. That's the way
- 25:45Speaker 12: our country should work. That's the way our states should work,
- 25:48Speaker 12: and our districts should work. Equity is different. She's for
- 25:51Speaker 12: the concept of equity, which is toxic. Equity means you
- 25:54Speaker 12: actually don't take a person as you find them and
- 25:57Speaker 12: judge them individually based upon their merit. You actually pick
- 26:00Speaker 12: people who have historically said they've been marginalized somehow. You
- 26:04Speaker 12: pick another group of people, and you take the other group,
- 26:07Speaker 12: you take something away from them, and you give it
- 26:09Speaker 12: to the person who says that their group has somehow
- 26:11Speaker 12: been marginalized. And of course we know people who have
- 26:13Speaker 12: been marginalized in this country. That's true in the past.
- 26:15Speaker 12: That's not in debate. But the answer to that past
- 26:19Speaker 12: issue is not to take things from people today. And
- 26:22Speaker 12: for example, say that if you are someone who wasn't
- 26:25Speaker 12: marginalized one hundred years ago, you know, allegedly, or your
- 26:28Speaker 12: family wasn't someone people you never even met, that we're
- 26:31Speaker 12: there for going to take from you and give to
- 26:33Speaker 12: someone else. To make up for that past sin. Basically,
- 26:36Speaker 12: that's equity, it's toxic, and she's openly for that platform,
- 26:40Speaker 12: which most voters that you overwhelm me, majority of voters
- 26:42Speaker 12: in this district are not for that. Again, I wouldn't
- 26:44Speaker 12: have brought this up if she had not been attacking
- 26:47Speaker 12: me for four straight weeks now. So I'm completely against
- 26:50Speaker 12: that part of her platform, just like the voters of
- 26:53Speaker 12: this district are, which is why she has to seek
- 26:54Speaker 12: out of state activist dollars. One of the issues she's
- 26:58Speaker 12: also discussed, Dave, and keep saying this over and over again,
- 27:01Speaker 12: is she is saying that I'm in favor of banning books,
- 27:05Speaker 12: and that's all over her negative attack ads. So I've
- 27:08Speaker 12: brought some excerpts today, Dave, that I'm going to show
- 27:11Speaker 12: you from a couple of the books that were discussed
- 27:13Speaker 12: during this paston legislative session. And I want folks to
- 27:16Speaker 12: know one hundred percent that I never, not once ever
- 27:21Speaker 12: said we should ban any book whatsoever. This discussion we
- 27:24Speaker 12: had in the legislature on this issue was only about
- 27:27Speaker 12: whether some of these materials should be in school libraries
- 27:31Speaker 12: or the children's section of public libraries. I was always
- 27:34Speaker 12: in favor of people wanted these things. If you want
- 27:36Speaker 12: to buy them. I never opposed that not one book
- 27:39Speaker 12: was going to be illegal. You can get them off
- 27:40Speaker 12: Amazon or a bookstore. They could still be in the
- 27:42Speaker 12: adult section of the public library. The only discussion was
- 27:45Speaker 12: whether these things should be in the children's section or
- 27:47Speaker 12: a school library. So I'm going to slide across the
- 27:49Speaker 12: table to you, Dave, while we're sitting here, excerpts from
- 27:52Speaker 12: a couple books, and these were in These were public
- 27:55Speaker 12: hearings we had at the legislature, so these were publicly
- 27:58Speaker 12: disclosed documents. We had evidence, cheery hearing with witnesses. These
- 28:01Speaker 12: are the materials that my opponent is saying that I'm
- 28:03Speaker 12: trying to ban from West Virginia, which I'm not never
- 28:07Speaker 12: said you should ban them. I just said these aren't
- 28:09Speaker 12: appropriate for children. So I'm going to hand you a
- 28:12Speaker 12: couple of these, Okay, So I'm gonna let you look
- 28:16Speaker 12: at those.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I wish we were on TV at this point, but
- 28:18Speaker 3: we will be in a few months. We'll go ahead.
- 28:19Speaker 12: I don't think well, I'll tell you we couldn't show
- 28:21Speaker 12: these on TV. No, you're right, okay, so listen, I'm
- 28:24Speaker 12: not asking you to take sides here, all right, but
- 28:26Speaker 12: you give your opinion on issues all the time.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I mean, what I'm seeing, h a delegate, is obviously
- 28:31Speaker 3: very sexually explicit material. I mean it's cartoony. I mean
- 28:36Speaker 3: it's uh, it's it's graphic. It's it's graphic graphic, so
- 28:39Speaker 3: to speak. Yeah, this is this is not this is
- 28:41Speaker 3: not good stuff.
- 28:42Speaker 12: Okay, So you are a very moderate guy. You're not
- 28:44Speaker 12: a Trump guy. You've said that openly. You seem to
- 28:48Speaker 12: be pretty moderate, middle of the road guy from what
- 28:50Speaker 12: I can tell. So what I just gave you, Dave,
- 28:54Speaker 12: those are direct examples of what we had our discussion
- 28:58Speaker 12: on during the legislative session. All Right, the Charleston Gazette
- 29:02Speaker 12: tell me if I'm right roun wrong, Charleston Gazette can
- 29:04Speaker 12: not publish that in the front page of the page. Now,
- 29:07Speaker 12: our local TV stations three, eight, and thirteen, they couldn't
- 29:09Speaker 12: broadcast those, could they.
- 29:10Speaker 2: No.
- 29:11Speaker 12: And in fact, there have been some media sites nationally
- 29:14Speaker 12: because these books have caused controversy in other places that
- 29:16Speaker 12: have published these excerpts, but they always censored them. They
- 29:19Speaker 12: blur out what's on those pages. This is what I'm
- 29:21Speaker 12: looking at here, delegate is not censored, right right, Well,
- 29:23Speaker 12: that's what I gave you. I gave you the actual
- 29:26Speaker 12: excerpts from the books that we looked at and we
- 29:28Speaker 12: had hearings on these, Dave. And again, I never said
- 29:31Speaker 12: that any of these should be banned. I just said
- 29:33Speaker 12: these don't belong in the children's section. One of those
- 29:35Speaker 12: excerpts I gave you from one of the books. You
- 29:37Speaker 12: don't have time to read all this, and let me
- 29:39Speaker 12: tell you this, we can't even read the words on
- 29:42Speaker 12: there over the air on some of that stuff. And
- 29:46Speaker 12: one of those books gives instructions to children, because these
- 29:49Speaker 12: are called young adult books, which the Library Association says
- 29:52Speaker 12: young adult is down to age twelve, but once you
- 29:55Speaker 12: get to age twelve, that goes in the children's section
- 29:57Speaker 12: of a library, school or public. One of those books, Dave,
- 30:01Speaker 12: it's right there in front of you, gives instructions to
- 30:04Speaker 12: children on how to search the internet for hardcore pornography
- 30:08Speaker 12: without your parents knowing about it, and how to keep
- 30:11Speaker 12: it to yourself. It tells you to look up certain
- 30:14Speaker 12: pornographic websites for advice on how to find things that
- 30:17Speaker 12: you might enjoy online as a child. So again, Dave,
- 30:21Speaker 12: I'm not a prude, buddy. If you're an adult and
- 30:24Speaker 12: you're consenting and no one's getting hurt, you do whatever
- 30:26Speaker 12: you want. I'm pretty libertarian on that when you're grown up,
- 30:30Speaker 12: this belongs nowhere within the school library or a public
- 30:34Speaker 12: library and the children's section. I never said to ban
- 30:36Speaker 12: a single book. So when my opponent says that I'm
- 30:39Speaker 12: wrong when I say that shouldn't mean the children's section
- 30:42Speaker 12: of our school libraries or public libraries on Thursday, I
- 30:46Speaker 12: want her to defend herself and say why she believes
- 30:50Speaker 12: that belongs in front of other people's children. Now she
- 30:53Speaker 12: wants to buy it and show it to her child,
- 30:55Speaker 12: that's her business.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:56Speaker 12: Again, I'm not banning that and never wanted to. I
- 30:58Speaker 12: didn't try to ban anything, and it was never banned anyway.
- 31:01Speaker 12: I just said this shouldn't be in front of someone
- 31:03Speaker 12: else's children without their knowledge and consent first, because what
- 31:06Speaker 12: was happening was we had reports from people who brought
- 31:08Speaker 12: this to us. Again, Dave, I wanted to focus on
- 31:10Speaker 12: jobs and the economy, but when you have constituents who
- 31:12Speaker 12: come to the legislature and say, Delegate, this is in
- 31:15Speaker 12: my child's school library. Am I supposed to know you're
- 31:18Speaker 12: saying this is actually in this This was verified to
- 31:22Speaker 12: have been in public libraries and school libraries in state
- 31:25Speaker 12: of Wasutria. I'm not saying all one hundred percent, but
- 31:27Speaker 12: it wasn't some ok I'm not going to name the
- 31:28Speaker 12: cities right now, right but we had someone from the
- 31:31Speaker 12: State Library Association who testified under oath, Dave, this is
- 31:34Speaker 12: not me making this stuff up. Someone testified under oath
- 31:38Speaker 12: that this was age appropriate for public libraries in the
- 31:42Speaker 12: children's section. Okay, I'm not saying these books you are
- 31:45Speaker 12: in every library, but they are that we have found
- 31:47Speaker 12: them in some. And when your constituents come to you,
- 31:50Speaker 12: and they didn't come to me like, this wasn't my bill.
- 31:52Speaker 12: This is someone else who proposed this, but I had
- 31:54Speaker 12: to vote on it because I'm there. But when they
- 31:56Speaker 12: come to you and say this is in our libraries
- 31:58Speaker 12: and we can't get any help locally, will you help us?
- 32:01Speaker 12: You can't blow these people off. As much as I
- 32:03Speaker 12: want to focus on taxes and jobs and infrastructure and
- 32:06Speaker 12: sewer and water and recruiting businesses, when your constituents come
- 32:09Speaker 12: to you can't say sorry, I don't have time for
- 32:12Speaker 12: you on this. If your child sees this, that's not
- 32:14Speaker 12: my problem.
- 32:15Speaker 3: You have to respond.
- 32:16Speaker 12: So I want my opponent on Thursday when she comes
- 32:18Speaker 12: in to explain why she thinks that that graphic sexual
- 32:21Speaker 12: material which the Charleston Gazette couldn't publish and three eight
- 32:24Speaker 12: and thirteen here locally couldn't put on their TV stations.
- 32:27Speaker 3: If you can't put it in the news.
- 32:29Speaker 12: Day or on TV or on the fromt page of paper,
- 32:31Speaker 12: why is she advocating the children should see these things? Okay,
- 32:34Speaker 12: so that's number one.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Okay, we just try to wrap it up here, Delegate.
- 32:37Speaker 12: Yeah, so it's just she damn just telling you, buddy.
- 32:41Speaker 12: And then we have a school choice issue she talks
- 32:43Speaker 12: about all the time. I am for public schools and
- 32:47Speaker 12: I'm for school choice. Both I advocated for increasing Funny
- 32:50Speaker 12: for both of those things. All three of my kids
- 32:51Speaker 12: are publicly schooled. She exercises school choice. So on Thursday
- 32:55Speaker 12: she can explain why she chooses to send her own child,
- 32:58Speaker 12: which is I have no problem with this, it's hertual
- 33:00Speaker 12: out of district to a different school. She exercises school choice.
- 33:04Speaker 12: He criticizes me for advocating for school choice. Which most
- 33:06Speaker 12: people in this state are for because education is not
- 33:09Speaker 12: one size fits all. All three of my kids go
- 33:11Speaker 12: in district to their public school, but I think other
- 33:13Speaker 12: people should have options. That's all I say. So, Dave,
- 33:15Speaker 12: let me just finish. Okay, we need to come together.
- 33:18Speaker 12: This negativity is terrible. It helps no one. These cultural
- 33:22Speaker 12: wedge issues that she is the one bringing up don't
- 33:24Speaker 12: solve people's real world problems on a daily basis.
- 33:27Speaker 3: I want to go back.
- 33:28Speaker 12: To the capital help people with positive economic issues, focus
- 33:32Speaker 12: on jobs and economy. That's my goal. I represent the
- 33:35Speaker 12: interests of this district. My opponent does not. She's funded
- 33:38Speaker 12: by out of state activists. I'm funded by the people
- 33:41Speaker 12: who live and work here, and I'm going to do
- 33:43Speaker 12: the best job every single day to fight for your interests.
- 33:45Speaker 3: And that's who I am. I appreciate you, Jbacres, appreciate
- 33:49Speaker 3: you being there back after this and the Voice of
- 33:50Speaker 3: Charleston WCCHS.

- 34:01Speaker 14: Hi, I am Sally Robinson. You'r Kenaw County Assessor. The
- 34:05Speaker 14: assessor should have experience, knowledge and dedication to perform the
- 34:08Speaker 14: duties required by West Virginia state law. Our office has
- 34:12Speaker 14: been incomplied since I was elected twelve years ago. You
- 34:15Speaker 14: gave me your vote of confidence in twenty twelve, twenty sixteen,
- 34:18Speaker 14: and twenty twenty. I am asking for your vote one
- 34:21Speaker 14: more time on November fifth. Thank you for your trust
- 34:25Speaker 14: and support.
- 34:26Speaker 15: Paid for by committee to re elect Sally Robinson Assessor.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Sick of negative headlines coming out of the Capitol and
- 34:33Speaker 4: around West Virginia, think the government should just work.
- 34:36Speaker 7: I'm Kayla Young, and as your delegate, I focused on
- 34:38Speaker 7: putting money back in your pockets through tax cuts, fixing childcare,
- 34:42Speaker 7: protecting our kids from abuse and neglect, and just making
- 34:44Speaker 7: sure that everyone's getting along by working hard for you
- 34:46Speaker 7: instead of culture wars that make your life worse, not
- 34:49Speaker 7: any better. Like you, I know we still have some
- 34:51Speaker 7: work to do.
- 34:52Speaker 4: This November vote Kayla Young for House of Delegates to
- 34:55Speaker 4: make West Virginia the best it can be and to
- 34:57Speaker 4: make government more boring. Paid for by Kayleeong Virginia.

- 36:22Speaker 3: Do you have several texts to get to and you
- 36:24Speaker 3: know I'll get to them as best I can. But
- 36:25Speaker 3: let me Welcome to the show now, Senator Joe Manchin,
- 36:28Speaker 3: Senator Mansion, good morning, Welcome to the show.
- 36:31Speaker 6: Hey body, how you doing, Dave?
- 36:32Speaker 3: I'm doing fine. I want to talk about this event
- 36:34Speaker 3: that you're taking part in, the Night Dannuel Ride for
- 36:36Speaker 3: Fallen Service Heroes to benefit gold Star families here in
- 36:39Speaker 3: the Mountain State. Pretty big event and pretty important, sir.
- 36:43Speaker 6: It's our ninth one, Dave. We do it, try to
- 36:45Speaker 6: do it every year. We missed on COVID, but other
- 36:47Speaker 6: than that, we do it. All the proceeds go to
- 36:50Speaker 6: helping these gold Star families who have lost a loved
- 36:53Speaker 6: one while serving our country. It's the least that we
- 36:56Speaker 6: can do, and it's the showing our appreciation. But so
- 36:59Speaker 6: many people that's sacrifice, losing a loved one serving their country,
- 37:03Speaker 6: and then sometimes they have some challenges that they need
- 37:06Speaker 6: help with. And we've been doing this and we enjoy
- 37:09Speaker 6: doing it. And we have riders from all over the
- 37:11Speaker 6: state that come in and it's just going to be
- 37:13Speaker 6: a great thing. We do it Thursday morning. We'll be
- 37:17Speaker 6: gathering at the gold Star Monument the Capitol anywhere around
- 37:21Speaker 6: ten nine thirty ten ten thirty. We'll start to ride
- 37:24Speaker 6: at eleven o'clock. We'll ride then to the Veterans of
- 37:28Speaker 6: Oil Arch in Huntington and we'll end with a little
- 37:31Speaker 6: picnic there in a little ceremony. But it's a wonderful
- 37:34Speaker 6: way to really show our appreciation and gratitude for all
- 37:37Speaker 6: those who have sacrificed for all of us.
- 37:40Speaker 3: And I know you love to ride, Senator, but this
- 37:42Speaker 3: is a great time because mother nature has really been
- 37:45Speaker 3: showing off this autumn.
- 37:46Speaker 6: Oh boy, oh boy, Dave, she's really treated us right.
- 37:50Speaker 6: We've written all kinds of weather. But we're going to
- 37:53Speaker 6: have a great day Thursday morning. I think Thursday evening
- 37:56Speaker 6: you might have a little rain moving, but we'll be
- 37:57Speaker 6: done by then. But it'll be a wonderful time to
- 37:59Speaker 6: get together with all of our friends and Motorscocal writers
- 38:02Speaker 6: are the best of the best. They come from all
- 38:04Speaker 6: over but basically most of them and a lot of
- 38:07Speaker 6: them are veterans themselves, and they know the sacrifices have
- 38:10Speaker 6: been made. They've made them and they continue to give back.
- 38:14Speaker 6: But it's just a wonderful time. And our sponsors have
- 38:17Speaker 6: been great. Every year helps so many people, you'd be surprising.
- 38:21Speaker 6: It's just a great way to say thank you and
- 38:23Speaker 6: our appreciation and also note for the sacrifices that they've made.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Sound like you're a little under the weather, there, you ok? Senator?
- 38:32Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I'm good. You know I got I got
- 38:35Speaker 6: kind of stopped up. I feel great. I just got
- 38:37Speaker 6: this congestion, David, and.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Just the time of year away.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Working on it, won't it won't slow me up.
- 38:44Speaker 3: I'll be riding, I have no doubt. Dave, Dave Allan
- 38:47Speaker 3: and five Any line brought to you part by Morgan
- 38:49Speaker 3: to Morgan. If you're injured hired Morgan to Morgan, America's
- 38:51Speaker 3: largest injury law firm. So people want to get involved
- 38:54Speaker 3: with the ride, Senator, I'll post some information on my
- 38:57Speaker 3: social media immediately after the show. But what do they
- 38:59Speaker 3: need to do?
- 39:00Speaker 6: They just show up, just show up, show up, this
- 39:02Speaker 6: is up, just shure up. There's no charge, no cost
- 39:06Speaker 6: at all. We always passed the hat to help because
- 39:08Speaker 6: people feel like they want to get more than just
- 39:10Speaker 6: being there, and that's fine too, but we just want
- 39:13Speaker 6: them to participate. We're riding basically for all the sacrifice
- 39:17Speaker 6: has been made for all of us, and this is
- 39:19Speaker 6: a way to give back to So it's just going
- 39:22Speaker 6: to be a great time. Every year we get a
- 39:24Speaker 6: couple hundred motorcycles show up. We'd like to see that
- 39:26Speaker 6: many again this year. Coming up Thursday, ask a great
- 39:29Speaker 6: time to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather. Like
- 39:32Speaker 6: you said, the Good Lord has bussed us, so let's
- 39:34Speaker 6: enjoy it.
- 39:35Speaker 3: I know you're on a very tight schedule. I just
- 39:37Speaker 3: want to ask you one other question away from this.
- 39:39Speaker 3: We are one week away from the election. Of course,
- 39:42Speaker 3: early voting is already underway in West Virginia. The clerks
- 39:45Speaker 3: tell us that that we've seen record numbers already. Your thoughts,
- 39:50Speaker 3: because a lot of people are concerned that whomever loses
- 39:54Speaker 3: the election, that it may not go pretty afterwards. Your
- 39:56Speaker 3: thoughts on that.
- 39:57Speaker 6: Before we let you go, sir, I would just say this,
- 40:00Speaker 6: we have always as the United States of Americans, and
- 40:03Speaker 6: as Americans, we've always protected and stood for our country.
- 40:08Speaker 6: I believe there'll be a lot of disappointed people either way,
- 40:11Speaker 6: whatever happens. But the bottom line is we are the
- 40:15Speaker 6: United States of America. We can't allow this to be
- 40:17Speaker 6: the divided states. We must come together. We always have.
- 40:21Speaker 6: We've lived, this country has survived some of the most
- 40:25Speaker 6: greatest challenges that any country could ever have, and we're
- 40:29Speaker 6: still standing. It's still an experiment being governed by ourselves,
- 40:33Speaker 6: electing who we want to represent us and making sure
- 40:36Speaker 6: they answer to us and not the political parties or
- 40:39Speaker 6: not the special interest groups. That's the most important thing.
- 40:42Speaker 6: And the only way you can do that is to
- 40:44Speaker 6: go vote day. Get involved. Don't stand back and curse
- 40:48Speaker 6: the darkness.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Get involved, all right, Senator Manchin, we wish you the
- 40:53Speaker 3: best of luck on the ride on Thursdays. So the
- 40:55Speaker 3: way that looks good. If there's any rain, looks like
- 40:57Speaker 3: it's going to be closer to trick or treat time,
- 40:59Speaker 3: you'll be wrapped up by that. Good luck. It's a
- 41:01Speaker 3: great cause. Glad to help you promote it, sir, Thanks a.
- 41:03Speaker 6: Lot, absolutely, thank you all for always being done. We
- 41:06Speaker 6: appreciate it so much. Love to see you Thursday. Please
- 41:09Speaker 6: show up and enjoy yourself. All right, we'll enjoy having.

- 43:57Speaker 3: opponent is a radical from the activist class. With politics,
- 44:00Speaker 3: she plays around the extreme edges that most people can't

- 44:11Speaker 3: text says they would eventually talking about that. I'm presuming
- 44:14Speaker 3: the kids in school they would eventually figure it out

- 44:19Speaker 3: nothing like what the mailer I got painted him as
- 44:22Speaker 3: the son of Satan. I have not seen these mailers,
- 44:26Speaker 3: of course, I don't live in Kanaw County in that district.
- 44:28Speaker 3: I would hope that they didn't spend their money to

- 49:38Speaker 3: The law says you cannot wear any sort of campaign
- 49:42Speaker 3: material into the polling place. Sorry, Texas says, going back

- 50:04Speaker 3: things around here. And it's gonna be Thursday. That's kind
- 50:07Speaker 3: of tentative. I talked to one of her folks earlier.
- 50:09Speaker 3: They reached out to me. It's tentatively scheduled for Thursday.

- 50:49Speaker 3: that lady that wore political attire was wearing red, white
- 50:52Speaker 3: and blue, you know America's colors. Well, according to the Texter,
- 50:55Speaker 3: it was not. It was campaign's here. Red white, blue
- 51:00Speaker 3: does not constitute campaign material, Okay, Texas. I voted last
- 51:09Speaker 3: Friday voter registration. Witness a woman where a Harris Wall's
- 51:13Speaker 3: hat into the polling place to vote. I told her
- 51:15Speaker 3: it was against the law, but she said, I'll take
- 51:17Speaker 3: it off if they tell me to. I mentioned her
- 51:20Speaker 3: hat to several workers, but they didn't ask to take
- 51:23Speaker 3: it off until she was getting ready to put her
- 51:24Speaker 3: ballot in the machine at the end. Well, again, that lady,
- 51:28Speaker 3: that particular person was breaking the law. It's very simple.
- 51:32Speaker 3: You cannot wear any sort of campaign material into a
- 51:36Speaker 3: polling place. You also can't take your You can't have
- 51:39Speaker 3: your phone out either, so just know that.
- 51:43Speaker 6: All right.
- 51:44Speaker 3: So I want to close. Well, I'll tell you what
- 51:47Speaker 3: I'm doing. How about I just read some text because
- 51:49Speaker 3: I can get to my thoughts on another time. I'm
- 51:51Speaker 3: more interested in what you have to say. Text says
- 51:53Speaker 3: if this person jumped the line at voters Registration office,
- 51:56Speaker 3: wouldn't the office employees have detained her? Well, I mean
- 51:59Speaker 3: they should have. I don't know about detained. They should
- 52:03Speaker 3: have stopped her. But I mean again, I'm only basing this.
- 52:07Speaker 3: I wasn't there. I was only based on what the
- 52:10Speaker 3: texture to the show said, and it said it has
- 52:13Speaker 3: been reported. That's what the texture said. I'm presuming that
- 52:16Speaker 3: this person means it was texted or reported. I should
- 52:18Speaker 3: say to the Secretary of State's Office, Texans, Dave going
- 52:22Speaker 3: to be must listen when you have body on the show.
- 52:25Speaker 3: Should be interesting to see how he does with the
- 52:28Speaker 3: South Hills libs. If you're talking about Linda Boddy, that's
