- 0:33Speaker 5: What's up, America. I am Rich Valdez Valdez with an
- 0:35Speaker 5: s at Rich valdesk on all of the social media.
- 0:39Speaker 5: Welcome to This is America, seventeen blocks away from Madison
- 0:43Speaker 5: Square Garden here in New York City. Happy and blessed
- 0:47Speaker 5: to be here with you. Eight seven seven VALDESZ one
- 0:49Speaker 5: is our phone number, eight seven seven valdes one if
- 0:52Speaker 5: you want to join our late night national town hall conversation.
- 0:56Speaker 5: And I want to jump into a few different things tonight.
- 0:59Speaker 5: One of the things I want to get to is
- 1:01Speaker 5: obviously President Trump facing some challenges in the Supreme Court. Yes,
- 1:05Speaker 5: that was a big deal, right, very big deal with
- 1:08Speaker 5: the Supreme Court because obviously they're Hayten Hayten Hayten on
- 1:14Speaker 5: El Trompito, then all this magnus to forty fifth and
- 1:17Speaker 5: forty seventh president of these United States. So if you
- 1:20Speaker 5: want to weigh in on that, it's always a blessing
- 1:22Speaker 5: to speak with each and every one of you. Give
- 1:24Speaker 5: me a call. Eight seven seven Baldes one, eight seven
- 1:27Speaker 5: seven Valdes one. And you know, today we're kind of
- 1:31Speaker 5: kicking off the show with some headlines that would really
- 1:34Speaker 5: make you wonder if Washington, DC, aka the Swamp actually
- 1:39Speaker 5: has like a secret comedy writer on their payroll, because
- 1:42Speaker 5: the stuff that comes out of the swamp is bananas. Anyway,
- 1:45Speaker 5: I mean, he goes it's Friday, February twenty at twenty
- 1:47Speaker 5: twenty six. The news cycle is spinning faster than liberals
- 1:51Speaker 5: trying to explain away inflation. And there's still some of
- 1:55Speaker 5: that out there. But let's dive in, Charlly. Why well,
- 1:57Speaker 5: because if we don't laugh at this stuff, we will
- 2:00Speaker 5: end up mad, very mad, and crying into our cafecito.
- 2:04Speaker 5: You know, you know, you know how that goes. Anyway,
- 2:06Speaker 5: I want to get into a few different things. First up,
- 2:08Speaker 5: we got the Supreme Court. Now the Supreme Court. You know,
- 2:11Speaker 5: I'm no legal scholar, but it seems like they did
- 2:14Speaker 5: something political here, right, and whenever they do some political
- 2:17Speaker 5: legal well, in the name of not being political, we're
- 2:19Speaker 5: going to say that we don't want to weigh in
- 2:21Speaker 5: on this. Now they weighed in on it's saying that
- 2:23Speaker 5: some aspect of what Trump was doing was outside of
- 2:26Speaker 5: his authority, overstepping his emergency powers. Okay, So in this
- 2:30Speaker 5: six' three, decision they basically told ed trumpeto not so.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Fast but Does trump back? Down no? Way, Right he
- 2:38Speaker 5: turns around and signs a new ten percent global tariff
- 2:41Speaker 5: faster than you could say trade. War why because he's
- 2:44Speaker 5: out there calling these justices fools and they're a disgrace
- 2:47Speaker 5: and they ARE i, mean come, on EVEN i think
- 2:51Speaker 5: the conservative appointees here they jump ship on this. One
- 2:57Speaker 5: AND i don't know why they did. ON i think
- 3:00Speaker 5: they wanted to have it both, ways like they often
- 3:03Speaker 5: do in the, court or maybe there's something that they
- 3:04Speaker 5: want and they weren't. Getting but this is a big,
- 3:09Speaker 5: DEAL a big deal in the sense that you, know
- 3:13Speaker 5: It's trump losing a, battle but he's going to win the,
- 3:16Speaker 5: war right because presidents have this, authority and you, know
- 3:19Speaker 5: he put it very, clearly and we have the clip
- 3:22Speaker 5: AND i want to play it for, you But i'm
- 3:23Speaker 5: just not going to play for you. Now and he
- 3:24Speaker 5: makes it very. Clear, listen you're, SAYING i can't charge
- 3:28Speaker 5: a dollar in a, tariff BUT i can end all
- 3:32Speaker 5: commerce with the, country in effect destroying a. Country and
- 3:36Speaker 5: it makes a lot of. Sense So scotus is full of. Surprises,
- 3:40Speaker 5: ANYWAY i want to shift. GEARS i want to get
- 3:42Speaker 5: to something else that's got parents everywhere clutching their. Pearls why,
- 3:46Speaker 5: well social media. Addiction it's hitting the courtroom big. Time
- 3:49Speaker 5: we've got this landmark trial that's kicking off against the
- 3:52Speaker 5: big tech giants Like meta And, google accusing them deliberately
- 3:57Speaker 5: hooking kids on platforms to you, know mess with their mental.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Health ideal is what this case is Saying Mark zuckerberg.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Is they're leading his own defense in many. Ways right
- 4:09Speaker 5: there were his lawyers testifying saying that they didn't target
- 4:12Speaker 5: anybody under, Thirteen and ALL i could say is a
- 4:15Speaker 5: lot of kids under thirteen THAT i think are definitely.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Targeted And i'm not Saying meta is responsible for, this
- 4:21Speaker 5: But i'm saying this might be an unintended consequence of
- 4:24Speaker 5: what happens there and there's, plaintiffs you, know lining up
- 4:28Speaker 5: all over the place in order to get this thing.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Going so we're going to see how that. Goes but for,
- 4:33Speaker 5: years these companies denied that it was, happening AND i
- 4:35Speaker 5: think because they said that it wasn't, happening people became
- 4:39Speaker 5: more interested to see if there wasn't addictive. Design Now
- 4:43Speaker 5: i'm going to say, THIS i hope there's something THAT
- 4:46Speaker 5: i can do to get you addicted to my. SHOW
- 4:48Speaker 5: i would love, that, Right, so whatever it is they,
- 4:50Speaker 5: did kudos to, them. RIGHT i don't think it's there's
- 4:53Speaker 5: something wrong with trying to get your customers addicted to
- 4:55Speaker 5: what you. Do there's something wrong in trying to harm.
- 4:57Speaker 5: People AND i don't know if there's a, Harm AND
- 5:00Speaker 5: i guess that's what they're trying to, say that somehow
- 5:03Speaker 5: the social media addiction equates to a. HARM i don't.
- 5:06Speaker 5: KNOW i really don't. Know this sounds like a tough
- 5:10Speaker 5: one to. Me we have to make sure the kids are,
- 5:12Speaker 5: safe BUT i don't know that that comes at the
- 5:14Speaker 5: expense of social media. COMPANY i think parents have a
- 5:17Speaker 5: role in, this and parents have, to you, know step.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Up but maybe there's more of this THAN i. Know
- 5:21Speaker 5: About so we'll bring in some guests this week to
- 5:23Speaker 5: really talk about. It over the next few, days we're
- 5:25Speaker 5: going to talk about a lot of, things lots of different.
- 5:28Speaker 5: TOPICS i want to talk About iran right right, now
- 5:31Speaker 5: we got THE Uss General Gerald, ford excuse, me pushing,
- 5:36Speaker 5: up pushing up On. Iran people are whispering saying that
- 5:38Speaker 5: there might be military strikes if the talks With. IRAN
- 5:42Speaker 5: i think either, Way trump is moving in On iran
- 5:44Speaker 5: because he's not going to put all his military might
- 5:46Speaker 5: out there for. Nothing SO i don't, know but he
- 5:50Speaker 5: says zero uranium enrichment period, zero get, it, Nada so
- 5:56Speaker 5: they're saying diluted levels maybe, whatever this and. THAT i
- 5:59Speaker 5: think if they art with that stuff, again there's going
- 6:01Speaker 5: to be a problem with moving right back to the
- 6:02Speaker 5: good old maximum pressure, campaign but likely that campaign on.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Steroids SO i, say pray for, peace but prepare for the. Worst,
- 6:11Speaker 5: now another. Tragedy this one's straight Up lohuta in my,
- 6:15Speaker 5: opinion another heartbreaking mass, shooting this time in Tumblr, Ridge British, Columbia.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Canada an eighteen year old trans woman born, male dropped
- 6:27Speaker 5: out of school years, ago has mental health red flags
- 6:30Speaker 5: all over the place and police going, visiting you, know
- 6:35Speaker 5: because of these red. Flags, well this, person she allegedly
- 6:39Speaker 5: killed her mom and her, stepbrother then storms out of
- 6:43Speaker 5: her old high, school taking six kids and a teacher
- 6:46Speaker 5: out before offering. Herself this comes right after the one
- 6:50Speaker 5: that we just. Had the death toll was, nine including
- 6:53Speaker 5: the shooter shooting. Herself now people, say is it? Guns
- 6:56Speaker 5: is it licenses? Ownership they're not clear yet on where
- 7:01Speaker 5: the gun came. From but the real question is what's
- 7:04Speaker 5: going on, here? Right and of course the news is
- 7:06Speaker 5: going to try and blame the, parents saying it is
- 7:09Speaker 5: the parent's fault for being libertarians or being conservatives or.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Whatever but the fact that this is happening back to
- 7:15Speaker 5: back with The Rhode island, incident and this is ugly.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Right in the last, decade you've got a growing number
- 7:22Speaker 5: of mass shooters that actually identify as trans small, number
- 7:26Speaker 5: but a growing. Number and this dark trend it has
- 7:30Speaker 5: one thing in, common mental. Illness not there leftist, ideology
- 7:36Speaker 5: AND i think we have to put the focus on.
- 7:38Speaker 5: That but the left tries to bury the mental, illness
- 7:40Speaker 5: saying that, no, no, no you can't call trans people mentally.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Ill we have to focus on gun safety and eliminating.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Guns we have to stop politicizing people's pains and really
- 7:50Speaker 5: fix the root. Cause in my, opinion that's mental. Illness,
- 7:54Speaker 5: now that happened outside of our, borders but what's happening
- 7:58Speaker 5: at the. Border in addition to, that something called grocery. Tourism,
- 8:03Speaker 5: Right canadians used to come south to The United states
- 8:06Speaker 5: for cheaper food and different. Things now It's americans that
- 8:10Speaker 5: some of them are eyeing store shelves across the. Borders
- 8:12Speaker 5: listen to. This you got eggs prices that are, down
- 8:15Speaker 5: gas is, cheaper but obviously ground beef and your electric
- 8:19Speaker 5: bill are still. Up this, hurts, right it Hurts the
- 8:22Speaker 5: pocket turned some supermarkets into luxury. Boutiques so you Got
- 8:26Speaker 5: canadians now coming up and stop coming to The United.
- 8:29Speaker 5: States you got people in The United states going To
- 8:31Speaker 5: canada trying to get a. DEAL i know they're going
- 8:32Speaker 5: to get, one but it sounds like a socialist. Nightmare,
- 8:35Speaker 5: now speaking of, Socialists Zara, mamdani he, says, Look i'm
- 8:40Speaker 5: gonna have to raise, taxes but we're getting a, snowstorm
- 8:43Speaker 5: and because we're getting a, Snowstorm i'm going to allow
- 8:48Speaker 5: you to shovel FOR i think nineteen bucks an. Hour
- 8:50Speaker 5: anybody in the city who wants to, shovel they show,
- 8:52Speaker 5: Up he gives you to shovel and. Everything here's the.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Catch you gotta HAVE. Id you can vote with THAT,
- 8:58Speaker 5: id but you can't shovel and make nineteen bucks an.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Hour SO i think that's kind of. Crazy it's the
- 9:03Speaker 5: height of hypocrisy From democrats And Zara. Mundani they're willing
- 9:08Speaker 5: to pay you nineteen bucks an. Hour mind you you
- 9:10Speaker 5: need two forms OF, id two photos and Your Social
- 9:13Speaker 5: Security card VOTER. Id, nah don't worry about. That they
- 9:18Speaker 5: say that's. Suppression right, now they're. SUPPRESSING i guess if
- 9:22Speaker 5: you don't have, idea they're suppressing the nineteen bucks an.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Hour right it's Like Jim crow all over. Again will
- 9:27Speaker 5: call It Jim snow two point. Zero, anyway we'll see
- 9:31Speaker 5: what happens with the snowstorm and all that that's expected
- 9:34Speaker 5: over the. Weekend and the idea that you don't NEED
- 9:38Speaker 5: id to, vote but you do NEED id to shovel
- 9:41Speaker 5: is quite, frankly it's crazy to.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Me it's.
- 9:44Speaker 5: Ridiculous BUT i want to give an update on SOMETHING
- 9:47Speaker 5: i talked about a while. Back That Cash BETEL fbi
- 9:49Speaker 5: director was talking. About they had caught the seven sixty
- 9:53Speaker 5: four pedophile. Cult it's pure, evil, right and a judge
- 9:57Speaker 5: recently just shut down the ringleaders request to be. Free
- 10:01Speaker 5: this satanic guy who has an eighty year sentence right
- 10:04Speaker 5: now for child. Exploitation, now this guy's staring at eighty
- 10:10Speaker 5: years in. Jail he started this cult at fifteen years,
- 10:14Speaker 5: old grooming kids on, discord talking them into harming, themselves extorting,
- 10:18Speaker 5: them even getting them to kill. Themselves he's dealt With,
- 10:21Speaker 5: nazism devil, worship all sorts of crazy. Stuff so THE
- 10:24Speaker 5: feds are cracking. Down they've arrested people in THE us and.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Abroad that's how big this network has. Got but it's
- 10:30Speaker 5: still lurking online and it's not just, abuse it's straight
- 10:33Speaker 5: up terrorism aimed at collapsing. Society so kudos to THE
- 10:37Speaker 5: doj And Cash betel for getting these monsters behind bars
- 10:42Speaker 5: and continuing to purge this poison from our, society because
- 10:46Speaker 5: this is what's Hurting america when you go after our.
- 10:48Speaker 5: Kids that's the. Future. ANYWAY a lot of, stuff, right
- 10:53Speaker 5: that's just a Typical. Iceberg we got a lot going.
- 10:55Speaker 5: ON i want to. Tease this grocery tourism. THING i
- 10:58Speaker 5: want to talk about, that and we're going to do
- 10:59Speaker 5: a more maybe not, today but in the coming. Days
- 11:03Speaker 5: we're gonna do a little section on. That we're gonna
- 11:06Speaker 5: do a segment on social media and the addiction that
- 11:11Speaker 5: they claim is. There we're gonna talk About mamdani and
- 11:13Speaker 5: his double standard on, taxes Saying i'm not going to do.
- 11:16Speaker 5: This It's Kathy. Hochel she's the one that's gonna raise
- 11:18Speaker 5: your taxes and more on the seven sixty four pedophile.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Creeps that stuff is nuts and a lot. More because
- 11:26Speaker 5: why because, you, miamigos My Familia. America you guys deserve the, truth, unfiltered, unafraid,
- 11:33Speaker 5: unapologetic just the. Truth And i'm gonna give it to
- 11:36Speaker 5: you the only WAY i know how to do. It
- 11:37Speaker 5: Plus i'm gonna take some of your. Calls eight seven
- 11:39Speaker 5: Seven valdez one is the phone. Number we're gonna break
- 11:42Speaker 5: it all. Down plus there is so much more to.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Come straight, Ahead i've got the founder of The Florida
- 11:47Speaker 5: institute For Neural, discovery, psychotherapist Doctor Vince, callahan is joining
- 11:51Speaker 5: us next to discuss his new, Book freedom to, thrive
- 11:55Speaker 5: and he's gonna explain to us what the neurobiology of
- 11:58Speaker 5: hope looks like as. Well so right, here don't go.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Anywhere I'm. Richfelds this Is.
- 12:03Speaker 3: America this Is.
- 12:21Speaker 4: America what's Up?
- 12:32Speaker 5: America welcome? Back as, Promised Doctor Vince callahan is with.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Us Doctor Vince callahan is one of my all time
- 12:39Speaker 5: favorites on this program because he's able to handle so many,
- 12:44Speaker 5: things not only, adeptly but truly with a heart of,
- 12:47Speaker 5: compassion which is you don't always see in the paraclet
- 12:50Speaker 5: counselors that are out. There Doctor vince is not only a,
- 12:54Speaker 5: practitioner but he's a scholar as, well writing numerous, books
- 12:58Speaker 5: including one that's coming up on a very interesting topic
- 13:02Speaker 5: of the neurobiology of. Hope can't wait to hear about.
- 13:05Speaker 5: That we'll talk about that in the second. Segment but right,
- 13:07Speaker 5: NOW i want to talk about something that's been digging at,
- 13:10Speaker 5: me and that is family. Separation people that, say you,
- 13:14Speaker 5: KNOW i don't want to talk to my parents, ANYMORE
- 13:16Speaker 5: i don't like my brother, ANYMORE i don't like my
- 13:18Speaker 5: family anymore because of whatever it could because Of. Trump
- 13:21Speaker 5: that's the latest, one but it could be. Whatever you,
- 13:23Speaker 5: know my parents didn't raise me, right they didn't teach me,
- 13:26Speaker 5: This they didn't teach me. That whatever the reason, is
- 13:28Speaker 5: people seem to be cutting off their parents left and.
- 13:30Speaker 5: RIGHT i want to get to the bottom of that
- 13:32Speaker 5: with Doctor Vince. Callahan he's also got a book on
- 13:35Speaker 5: menopause coming out In, march for men to learn how
- 13:38Speaker 5: to navigate, it for the women in their, lives and
- 13:41Speaker 5: for women to understand it all that much more, Effectively
- 13:44Speaker 5: Doctor Vince, Callahan, welcome, Sir.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Thank you so much for having. ME i love your
- 13:48Speaker 2: show AND i just appreciate being on with.
- 13:49Speaker 5: You oh you, bet Thank you're very kind and Doctor.
- 13:53Speaker 5: VINCE i talked about this two months ago or six
- 13:56Speaker 5: weeks ago on the Podcast we WERE i was scrolling
- 13:59Speaker 5: through instace gram AS i do for my show, prep
- 14:02Speaker 5: AND i saw this very interesting video From Oprah, winfrey
- 14:07Speaker 5: of all, people and she had a number of psychotherapists on.
- 14:11Speaker 5: That we're talking about the importance or non importance of
- 14:17Speaker 5: tossing your family to the, side getting rid of your
- 14:20Speaker 5: loved ones if you don't like, them blaming them for,
- 14:23Speaker 5: something and there were three different takes on, it and
- 14:26Speaker 5: it was just fascinating to me that people were actually
- 14:29Speaker 5: going no contact on their. Family Doctor Vince, WELL i.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Can speak to this personally BECAUSE i have a son
- 14:38Speaker 2: who is almost, forty and about eight years, ago he
- 14:41Speaker 2: decided he didn't want me to be his dad any.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Longer and we didn't have an, argument we didn't have a.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Fight there was nothing THAT i knew of relationally. Wrong
- 14:50Speaker 2: he just made that. Decision and it's heartbreaking when that,
- 14:55Speaker 2: happens because you just you don't know what to. Do
- 14:58Speaker 2: and you, Know i've heard the sides of, well sometimes
- 15:02Speaker 2: if the parent is mentally, ill it's a good thing
- 15:05Speaker 2: to distinguish yourself and pull away because you don't want
- 15:09Speaker 2: that mental illness in your. Life, Well i'm not mentally,
- 15:12Speaker 2: ill SO i don't know where that logic would come,
- 15:15Speaker 2: from but just the fact that people are are it's
- 15:18Speaker 2: a trend where people are, saying, WELL i don't want
- 15:20Speaker 2: to be part of my family BECAUSE i want to
- 15:22Speaker 2: live my own life and develop my own. Truth and
- 15:25Speaker 2: that's just not good for. Us because we are made for.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Relationships we are made to be relational, people and we're
- 15:33Speaker 2: made to connect and we're made to go through stroubles.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Together that's what makes us a. Family it is doing
- 15:40Speaker 2: the good things and doing the bad things together and
- 15:44Speaker 2: working through those. Issues SO i remember a study that
- 15:49Speaker 2: was done with two groups of, chickens AND i use
- 15:53Speaker 2: this in my family work WHEN i talk to. Families
- 15:56Speaker 2: someone decided that they wanted to crack the shells of
- 16:00Speaker 2: chicks baby chicks so that they wouldn't have to struggle
- 16:04Speaker 2: to get out of the. Egg and then the other
- 16:06Speaker 2: group they didn't do anything with and ninety six percent
- 16:09Speaker 2: of the, chicks the baby chicks where they crack the,
- 16:13Speaker 2: shell the babies. Died. Wow one hundred percent of the
- 16:17Speaker 2: chicks that had to struggle to get through birth process all.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Lived and they formulated that people need a struggle in
- 16:25Speaker 2: life to achieve. Life and when you give everything to
- 16:29Speaker 2: your kids and when there's no struggle whatsoever and it's,
- 16:32Speaker 2: disconnected they usually have higher divorce, rate higher a drug addiction,
- 16:37Speaker 2: rate broken, Relationships their life just doesn't. Work they can't
- 16:42Speaker 2: get it together because there's not that struggle within that. Family.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Wow, well you, know as a follow up to what
- 16:50Speaker 5: you were just talking, about talking about your your own
- 16:52Speaker 5: son that's going to be forty years, old doing this
- 16:55Speaker 5: very thing to You is this an example of of
- 17:01Speaker 5: the struggle you're talking, about? Right is this an exactble
- 17:04Speaker 5: of going? Through?
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yes, well it's more productive in our lives when we
- 17:11Speaker 2: stay in the, moment so to, speak and we work
- 17:14Speaker 2: through those, struggles because when we, don't we just get,
- 17:17Speaker 2: Spoiled we get, entitled you, know BECAUSE i shouldn't have
- 17:21Speaker 2: to do that AND i don't deserve this AND i
- 17:24Speaker 2: shouldn't have to go through that. Process. Me, oh woe is,
- 17:28Speaker 2: me that's, Right and it's all about, me, me, me
- 17:30Speaker 2: instead of. Us and we're made to be us. People
- 17:35Speaker 2: we're not made to be a me. Society and we
- 17:38Speaker 2: see in our society what's happening with a followless. Society
- 17:41Speaker 2: we see people out there doing some really stupid things
- 17:44Speaker 2: because there's nobody telling them this is wrong and you
- 17:47Speaker 2: shouldn't be doing.
- 17:48Speaker 5: It Doctor Vince callahan the author of many. Books he
- 17:52Speaker 5: is the founder of fi N D, florida The Florida
- 17:56Speaker 5: institute for Neuro. Discovery make sure you check them out,
- 17:59Speaker 5: online give them a fuck as. Well and Doctor, vince
- 18:04Speaker 5: this is a fascinating premise to. Me AND i didn't
- 18:07Speaker 5: know ahead of time that you had your own experience
- 18:10Speaker 5: with your own son like, That AND i could tell
- 18:12Speaker 5: YOU i had an argument with my daughter not that long,
- 18:14Speaker 5: ago and it was a similar. TOPIC i was, saying
- 18:18Speaker 5: life is so much better when you're in cruise, control
- 18:21Speaker 5: when the struggle is, gone and she was arguing, adamantly,
- 18:24Speaker 5: no you need the. Struggle this struggle is so. Important
- 18:28Speaker 5: AND i was, saying for what IF i could guide
- 18:31Speaker 5: you and tell you and help save you some of
- 18:33Speaker 5: the time and some of the scrapes THAT i had
- 18:36Speaker 5: to get on my, knee how does that not help?
- 18:39Speaker 5: You and, honestly at the, moment during the, MOMENT i,
- 18:42Speaker 5: thought Maybe i'm just being hard, headed and you, know
- 18:46Speaker 5: she's being hard, headed and we're just being stubborn, together
- 18:49Speaker 5: and that likely was. True but there was, also you,
- 18:53Speaker 5: know a time of reflection afterwards WHERE i, said you,
- 18:55Speaker 5: know there is a value and, struggle BECAUSE i had
- 18:58Speaker 5: a whole bunch of it coming, up and that's WHERE
- 19:00Speaker 5: i learned so much of the grit THAT i have
- 19:02Speaker 5: it's because of the, struggle and if you don't have,
- 19:05Speaker 5: it then you're kind of robbing your. Kid like you
- 19:07Speaker 5: talked about, earlier of those skills or the baby chicks
- 19:11Speaker 5: with the cracks you know the pre cracked. Shell it
- 19:14Speaker 5: puts you at a.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Disadvantage, absolutely and you're not to side with your, daughter
- 19:19Speaker 2: but she's right because she's, saying we need the struggles
- 19:23Speaker 2: to be who we. Are and look at, you look
- 19:27Speaker 2: at the success that you, have and look at where
- 19:29Speaker 2: you are in, life and you wouldn't be there if
- 19:32Speaker 2: you didn't struggle and fight to get. There one of
- 19:37Speaker 2: the greatest lessons my. Father he didn't teach me a
- 19:39Speaker 2: lot of, lessons but one of the greatest ones he
- 19:42Speaker 2: taught me was WHEN i went to. COLLEGE i had
- 19:45Speaker 2: earned enough money to pay for my first semester AND
- 19:47Speaker 2: i paid for my own. College but during that, SEMESTER
- 19:50Speaker 2: i got a letter from my dad and mom and
- 19:53Speaker 2: there was a check for twenty five dollars and the letter,
- 19:55Speaker 2: said congratulations on being in college or the first of the.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Family we can't help you stay in, college so if
- 20:03Speaker 2: you need a bus ticket, home here's the twenty five
- 20:06Speaker 2: dollars to get you, home or you can find a
- 20:08Speaker 2: way to stay in. COLLEGE i went to the financial laid.
- 20:12Speaker 2: OFFICE i found a way to clean toilets and do
- 20:14Speaker 2: work and stay in school and pay for my own. School,
- 20:19Speaker 2: now at the TIME i was so. Angry but you know,
- 20:22Speaker 2: WHAT i look back and that was probably one of
- 20:24Speaker 2: the greatest struggles in my.
- 20:25Speaker 5: Life, yeah now you have a doctorate degree or a
- 20:29Speaker 5: big Famous siller.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Practitioner, yes, Yes AND i was a kid in high
- 20:36Speaker 2: school that you wouldn't think would ever make it to
- 20:38Speaker 2: the doctoral. Level but you, Know god has a plan
- 20:41Speaker 2: and it's pretty cool when you get. There it's like
- 20:44Speaker 2: getting a gold medal in The. Olympics you, struggle and
- 20:46Speaker 2: you struggle and you, struggle then you finally get. There
- 20:49Speaker 2: and So i'm grateful for the education THAT i do.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Have, yeah amen to, THAT i, mean he goes. Again
- 20:55Speaker 5: we're on with Doctor Vince callahan and he's got a
- 20:58Speaker 5: book coming out on. Menopause talk to us about this
- 21:02Speaker 5: book on. Menopause what's it called and what inspired you
- 21:06Speaker 5: to write a book about? Menopause And i'm just going
- 21:07Speaker 5: to preface this with SAYING i once worked for a
- 21:11Speaker 5: private school that did medical training and the head of
- 21:15Speaker 5: the medical assisting, department Doctor epstein was his, NAME a nice.
- 21:21Speaker 5: GUY i remember him explaining once about menopause to me
- 21:27Speaker 5: and explaining that he, said you, know in his, practice he,
- 21:31Speaker 5: said if a woman comes in and tells me that
- 21:32Speaker 5: she's going through menopause and the. Symptoms he, said you,
- 21:36Speaker 5: know there are many of those symptoms that literally clinically mimic, depression,
- 21:44Speaker 5: anxiety mental. Illness he, said it's not something where you
- 21:49Speaker 5: can just, go, oh it's just a bunch of hot.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Flashes he, said it's a lot more than. That it's
- 21:53Speaker 5: a pretty complicated. Thing then you got to do it
- 21:55Speaker 5: as a serious. Thing and that was WHEN i learned
- 21:58Speaker 5: that it wasn't just when are freaking out BECAUSE i
- 22:01Speaker 5: was a young man AND i was just, oh they
- 22:02Speaker 5: were having a bad, day and they got it's beyond.
- 22:05Speaker 5: That so that's my rudimentary understanding of. It talk to
- 22:09Speaker 5: me about you know why you decided to write this.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Book, WELL i wrote the first book is you know
- 22:15Speaker 2: we've talked about on your radio, Show freedom To, change
- 22:19Speaker 2: understanding and reshaping the stressed. Brain that's my, Pet. PEEVE
- 22:23Speaker 2: i love talking about stress in the. Brain but the
- 22:26Speaker 2: second book came about a doctor friend of. Mine approachman
- 22:29Speaker 2: said we need to WRITE i need to write a,
- 22:31Speaker 2: book BUT i need you to do it BECAUSE i
- 22:32Speaker 2: love how you. Write and SO i started digging into the. Whole,
- 22:36Speaker 2: oh thank. YOU i started digging into the subject of
- 22:40Speaker 2: menopause found out that only five percent of doctors are
- 22:44Speaker 2: actually trained in how to treat women who are in
- 22:47Speaker 2: perimenopause or. Menopause i've also learned the importance of estrogen
- 22:52Speaker 2: depletion and how hormone replacement therapy can change a woman's life.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Totally but WHAT i really found out was that men
- 23:00Speaker 2: don't have a clue how to navigate this with their
- 23:04Speaker 2: wives or their spouses or. Partners they don't know what
- 23:08Speaker 2: to do when the mental health symptoms show, up and
- 23:11Speaker 2: that's related to estra the. Depletion so the book is
- 23:14Speaker 2: Called freedom To Thrive Navigating Menopause. Journey it'll be out
- 23:19Speaker 2: By Kendall Hunt publishers in Mid, march and then IF
- 23:23Speaker 2: i don't if you don't, Mind i'll promote the third,
- 23:25Speaker 2: book Which i'm really excited. About this one's coming out
- 23:29Speaker 2: in the. Fall it's CALLED I have A tricycle and
- 23:32Speaker 2: it's on the neurobiology of. Hope and SO i wanted
- 23:35Speaker 2: to write a book of what happens in your brain
- 23:37Speaker 2: when you're actually feeling. Hope and this came about by
- 23:41Speaker 2: my little. Granddaughter we bought her a, tricycle and she
- 23:44Speaker 2: was writing it through our house and we would ask,
- 23:47Speaker 2: her do you need something to eat or something, drink
- 23:49Speaker 2: and she'd, SAY i have a. TRICYCLE i have a.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Tricycle so we adopted the fact that when you've got
- 23:54Speaker 2: something positive happening in your, life we call, IT i
- 23:57Speaker 2: have a. Tricycle and so That urobology Of hope is
- 24:01Speaker 2: going to be a really great, book motivational book to
- 24:04Speaker 2: help people really understand why they need hope and why
- 24:07Speaker 2: they need to release forgiveness to people that have hurt.
- 24:11Speaker 5: Them let's pause right, there BECAUSE i want to dig
- 24:14Speaker 5: into forgiveness and hope and all that stuff BECAUSE i
- 24:17Speaker 5: think these are the things that are the crux of
- 24:20Speaker 5: so many people's. Problems and There i'm going to say,
- 24:24Speaker 5: simple not easy to deal, with but simple. Nature SO i, mean,
- 24:28Speaker 5: guys we're coming right back with Doctor Vince. Callahan he's
- 24:31Speaker 5: the founder of The Florida institute For Neural. Discovery he's
- 24:35Speaker 5: the author of two upcoming books this. YEAR i have A,
- 24:38Speaker 5: tricycle which is a book on the neurobiology of, hope
- 24:41Speaker 5: and this book Called freedom To. Thrive And i'm looking
- 24:46Speaker 5: forward to both of. THEM i don't THINK i have
- 24:49Speaker 5: to navigate too much menopause right. Now but you got
- 24:52Speaker 5: to have that stuff in your hip pocket for when
- 24:54Speaker 5: it goes around, right keep it locked right. Here It's
- 24:56Speaker 5: Rich valdez coming right.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Back this Is. America this Is.
- 25:13Speaker 2: America the forty Fifth President Donald trump thinks it's an
- 25:17Speaker 2: honor to speak With Rich.
- 25:19Speaker 5: Valdez the honor is all.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yours conservative talk with a dash of.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Sofrito now Here's Rich, valdez.
- 25:34Speaker 5: All Right, forbida welcome. Back It's Rich valdez keeping your company.
- 25:37Speaker 5: Tonight And i've got one of my favorites with. Us
- 25:40Speaker 5: Doctor Vince callahan is with. Us Doctor Vince callahan is
- 25:43Speaker 5: the author of an upcoming book CALLED I have A.
- 25:46Speaker 5: Tricycle and in the previous, segment he told us a
- 25:49Speaker 5: little bit about his granddaughter and how not a worry
- 25:52Speaker 5: in the world because she had a tricycle AND i love.
- 25:54Speaker 5: THAT i wish life for that simple and it ought
- 25:57Speaker 5: to be. Right let's break it. Down you granddaughter inspires
- 26:01Speaker 5: you because she has a, tricycle and there's hope in
- 26:04Speaker 5: all things because she's got this. Tricycle how does that
- 26:07Speaker 5: turn into a book that is going to appeal to the,
- 26:10Speaker 5: masses people that are dealing with family, separation people that
- 26:13Speaker 5: are dealing with all sorts of drama in their.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Lives Doctor, Vince, well the biggest thing THAT i see
- 26:18Speaker 2: in working with patients is that they carry unforgiveness in their,
- 26:21Speaker 2: life which turns into, bitterness which turns into health. Issues
- 26:26Speaker 2: they're all. Connected and SO i wanted to write a
- 26:30Speaker 2: book on hope and what happens in your brain when
- 26:34Speaker 2: you get, hope because there is a process in your
- 26:37Speaker 2: brain that's unleashed when you have. Hope and the good
- 26:41Speaker 2: news is that forgiveness let me give me go back
- 26:45Speaker 2: for a. Second stress is or bitterness or unforgiveness is
- 26:50Speaker 2: just like stress in your. Brain, okay so it's an.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Attack it's an enemy effect that it has on.
- 26:55Speaker 2: It it's the same. Effect so bitterness and unforgiveness have
- 26:59Speaker 2: the same effect in your. Brain is stress on your,
- 27:02Speaker 2: brain which change the size and function of the brain
- 27:04Speaker 2: and all those kind of things we've talked. About but
- 27:07Speaker 2: when you have, forgiveness you actually release dopamine in the,
- 27:10Speaker 2: brain which makes you feel. Good and people don't understand
- 27:14Speaker 2: because most people don't forgive somebody because they think it
- 27:18Speaker 2: doesn't hold them. Accountable IF i forgive you for hurting,
- 27:22Speaker 2: me that lets you off the, hook and SO i
- 27:25Speaker 2: don't want to do. That so Then i'm going to
- 27:27Speaker 2: harbor that unforgiveness in my, life not realizing what it's
- 27:31Speaker 2: doing to. Me SO i just wanted to write a
- 27:32Speaker 2: book on really what happens when you have hope and
- 27:36Speaker 2: why it's okay to walk in forgiveness and choose grace
- 27:40Speaker 2: on a daily basis so that your brain is functioning
- 27:44Speaker 2: at an optimal, level.
- 27:46Speaker 5: You, know Doctor. VINCE i, recently given the shifting nature
- 27:50Speaker 5: of my work and my, Availability i've joined the men's
- 27:54Speaker 5: fellowship at my, church which meets at, night And i've
- 27:57Speaker 5: been wanting to do, this but because of my radio,
- 27:59Speaker 5: schedule it was very. Difficult it's been a. Blessing and
- 28:01Speaker 5: one of the things we were talking about the other
- 28:02Speaker 5: day was, how for too long and for too many,
- 28:05Speaker 5: people people tend to hold on to resentment and hold
- 28:09Speaker 5: on to, unorgiveness like the analogy drinking the poison hoping
- 28:13Speaker 5: that the other person will, die. RIGHT i think that's
- 28:15Speaker 5: one of the most apt ways of putting, it because
- 28:18Speaker 5: it truly is something that hurts you and the. Forgiveness
- 28:21Speaker 5: part of it is something that truly only helps you
- 28:24Speaker 5: and it sets you. Free it's got nothing to do
- 28:26Speaker 5: with the other. Person it's about you living, well you
- 28:29Speaker 5: not getting, sick you not getting, cancer and all these
- 28:31Speaker 5: other ailments THAT i have seen many studies that say
- 28:34Speaker 5: they're linked to unforgiveness and other types of things like.
- 28:36Speaker 5: That SO i tell us a little bit about that
- 28:39Speaker 5: and why people misconstrue. That is it just this accountability,
- 28:42Speaker 5: thing or is their pride to it or is it?
- 28:44Speaker 5: Ego what are your?
- 28:45Speaker 2: Thoughts, well the worst traumas are the ones that people
- 28:51Speaker 2: try to. FORGET i can't tell you how many TIMES
- 28:54Speaker 2: i work with patients and, SAY i don't even remember
- 28:56Speaker 2: my childhood because there's memory blanks because the trauma was
- 29:00Speaker 2: so severe they don't know what to do with. It
- 29:03Speaker 2: but not everybody's in that. Category some people just have
- 29:06Speaker 2: everyday things that happen to them that they just hold on,
- 29:09Speaker 2: to or they have a. LOSS i have a friend
- 29:12Speaker 2: right now who lost three friends last. Week two they,
- 29:16Speaker 2: died and he was mad At god for a, Minute
- 29:19Speaker 2: why did you take my? Friends? Yeah and that's if
- 29:23Speaker 2: you don't let that go, back can begin to eat at,
- 29:26Speaker 2: you and like you, said it relates to health issues
- 29:29Speaker 2: and all those kind of. Things bitterness is equal to
- 29:33Speaker 2: stress and stress.
- 29:35Speaker 5: Kills bitterness is equal to stress and stress. Kills this
- 29:41Speaker 5: is why we bring Doctor Vince callahan, on folks for those, moments,
- 29:44Speaker 5: right those those tattooable. Moments bitterness is equal to. Stress
- 29:48Speaker 5: that would make a great. TATTOO i might get that. Somewhere,
- 29:50Speaker 5: yeah there you, Go there you. GO i have to
- 29:52Speaker 5: credit you somewhere on. That now we talk about the
- 29:56Speaker 5: neurobiology of hope in the. Book let's talk about how
- 30:00Speaker 5: hope wires the, brain or how it runs through the
- 30:04Speaker 5: wiring of the.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Brain so you have forty neurotransmitters that operate in your,
- 30:10Speaker 2: body and one of them is. Cortical that's the stress.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Hormone that is what happens when you feel.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Attacked so one that makes you, fat, too, right.
- 30:21Speaker 2: That's the one that makes it fat because you eat
- 30:22Speaker 2: all the carbs because you're stress. Eating, yeah because you
- 30:25Speaker 2: need the sugar for. Survival and so when stress comes
- 30:29Speaker 2: at your, brain it changes size and. Function, well guess
- 30:32Speaker 2: what when you're in bitterness and, unforgiveness if it's equal to,
- 30:36Speaker 2: stress which the research shows that it. Is now you're
- 30:39Speaker 2: changing the size and function of your, brain and you're
- 30:42Speaker 2: keeping cortsal in your brain all the, time and it's
- 30:45Speaker 2: dumping that. Cordsal so it's changing a whole. Life but
- 30:48Speaker 2: when you, forgive when you have hope in your, life
- 30:52Speaker 2: the one chemical that you do release is. Dopamine here's
- 30:56Speaker 2: the cool. Part dopamine can't live with Cortical you can't
- 30:59Speaker 2: have both of those in your brain at the same.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Time now cortsos in your it's an. Antidote cortersol's in your, body,
- 31:06Speaker 2: yes but you don't have that spite that you have during.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Stress and so you have this release of, dopamine which
- 31:14Speaker 2: gives you a sense of relief and you feel better
- 31:19Speaker 2: and now you're not dwelling on what happened to. You
- 31:22Speaker 2: you find freedom in the, neurotransmitters which changes your. Behavior
- 31:27Speaker 2: when your transmitters, change your behavior. Changes it's impossible for
- 31:33Speaker 2: it not to. Fascinating so it is. Fascinating it's. Simple
- 31:38Speaker 2: it takes fifteen seconds to release dopamine in your. Brain
- 31:42Speaker 2: it takes six seconds to peak, oxytocin which is what
- 31:46Speaker 2: happens when you get a hug or you connect with.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Somebody it takes fifteen minutes for cortersol to, peak it
- 31:52Speaker 2: takes three hours for it to go. Away who wants
- 31:55Speaker 2: to live that? Way so The neurobiology Of hope is
- 31:59Speaker 2: about very simply changing what's going on in your brain
- 32:03Speaker 2: and letting the natural dopamine an oxytocin be what you're
- 32:07Speaker 2: addicted to instead of addicted to.
- 32:09Speaker 5: Unforgiveness outstanding. Folks, again check out Doctor Vince callahan's website
- 32:15Speaker 5: F i N d DASH fl dot, org find fl
- 32:20Speaker 5: dot Org Florida institute For Neural, discovery or you can
- 32:23Speaker 5: check out Doctor vince dot. Com he's got an amazing,
- 32:26Speaker 5: website lots of wonderful books and Doctor. VINCE i love
- 32:31Speaker 5: the premise of the, Book The neurobiology Of hope and
- 32:36Speaker 5: how that works, out and the notion OF i have a, tricycle,
- 32:40Speaker 5: right and it's these it's these, again these, things these
- 32:44Speaker 5: tattooable moments right THAT i think will really take with
- 32:48Speaker 5: us through. Life sometimes you can read a lot of,
- 32:51Speaker 5: scripture you can read a lot of, books you can
- 32:52Speaker 5: read a lot of. Everything but every now and again
- 32:54Speaker 5: you hear that good, quote that good saying that really
- 32:57Speaker 5: sticks with, you that you're able to apply in life
- 33:00Speaker 5: or use when. Necessary AND i think these are some
- 33:04Speaker 5: of those. Things, RIGHT i Doubt i'll ever forget the
- 33:07Speaker 5: SAYING i have a. Tricycle, Right i'm pretty Sure i'll
- 33:09Speaker 5: say it a few times myself and people won't know
- 33:11Speaker 5: What i'm talking about unless they know what we're talking.
- 33:13Speaker 5: About and it's these things THAT i think make a.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Difference so in keeping with with, that that line of,
- 33:22Speaker 5: inquiry of that line of, thinking what's your advice for
- 33:27Speaker 5: for somebody that, says you, know back to topic. One
- 33:31Speaker 5: they a young woman and her. Mom let's say it
- 33:36Speaker 5: was a single. Mom they grew. Up they were like
- 33:39Speaker 5: sisters because the life gave. Them but now that you
- 33:43Speaker 5: know they live and they're big and they're, adulting they're
- 33:47Speaker 5: at each other's. Throats they don't get. Along the, relationship
- 33:50Speaker 5: the mother daughter relationship they're realizing it was never, there,
- 33:54Speaker 5: Right or the father's son relationship that was never. There
- 33:56Speaker 5: dad was in jail and now he's back and he
- 33:58Speaker 5: wants to have a. Relationship these estranged, families AND i
- 34:02Speaker 5: see so many of. THEM i feel like this is,
- 34:08Speaker 5: epidemic is the Word i'm going to. Use i'm seeing
- 34:10Speaker 5: it more now Than i've ever seen it. Before there
- 34:13Speaker 5: was always, People, oh we haven't seen so and so
- 34:15Speaker 5: NOW i feel like every family has a black, sheep
- 34:17Speaker 5: every family has a person in the. Family it's, like,
- 34:20Speaker 5: oh they're not our family. Anymore they divorced, us they
- 34:23Speaker 5: cut us. Off how do we apply the principles of
- 34:27Speaker 5: having a tricycle or even having the freedom to thrive
- 34:33Speaker 5: in this family estrangement.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Situation, WELL i think it bawls down to having the
- 34:39Speaker 2: conversation that you've been. Avoiding and in that, CONVERSATION i,
- 34:44Speaker 2: mean man up or you, know you're both. Adults let's
- 34:47Speaker 2: figure out how to at least have a. Conversation and
- 34:50Speaker 2: in that, conversation there's two very simple questions to, ask
- 34:54Speaker 2: what's the issue and what do you? Need AND i
- 34:58Speaker 2: think the parent should take that role to simply say
- 35:02Speaker 2: to their, child their adult, child, look you know. WHAT
- 35:05Speaker 2: i love. YOU i know that you've decided to be
- 35:09Speaker 2: a strange for, me BUT i would really love to
- 35:11Speaker 2: figure out how to recreate this. Connection So i'm going
- 35:14Speaker 2: to ask you very, simply what's the? Issue what DID i?
- 35:17Speaker 2: Do what's the? Issue what do we need to? Resolve
- 35:21Speaker 2: and then when you talk about that a little. Bit
- 35:23Speaker 2: then the next question, is, well what do you need from?
- 35:26Speaker 2: Me what do you need to make this relationship? Work
- 35:29Speaker 2: and listen to what that adult child. Says don't defend,
- 35:33Speaker 2: it don't push it, away don't say, no that's not,
- 35:36Speaker 2: real that's not, right it's in your own weird. Thinking
- 35:39Speaker 2: don't do any of that. Stuff just simply ask what
- 35:41Speaker 2: do you need and then listen to their heart for
- 35:44Speaker 2: what they. Need and that's the beginning of.
- 35:46Speaker 5: Healing you, know Doctor Vince. Callahan As i'm listening to,
- 35:49Speaker 5: You i'm super thankful that you. KNOW i argue with
- 35:53Speaker 5: my kids Because i'm a pretty passionate. Guy but we
- 35:56Speaker 5: have a good relationship and they take my calls and
- 35:58Speaker 5: we still. Talk BUT i know that that's not the
- 36:02Speaker 5: case for a lot of, people AND i know that
- 36:06Speaker 5: that's got a weigh on, people, people especially people who
- 36:08Speaker 5: like their.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Kids.
- 36:09Speaker 5: RIGHT i know there's some people out there who don't
- 36:10Speaker 5: like the.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Kids.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Right they might love, them but they're not always well like.
- 36:13Speaker 5: THEM i love my, KIDS i love hanging out with,
- 36:15Speaker 5: THEM i love being around. Them but these two, QUESTIONS
- 36:20Speaker 5: i think they're game. Changers, right you, know what is
- 36:26Speaker 5: the issue and what do you need BECAUSE i think
- 36:29Speaker 5: oftentimes these are deep rooted. Things right When i've talked
- 36:33Speaker 5: to people who tell me they don't talk to their.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Parents and the REASON i guess this comes to me
- 36:37Speaker 5: is Because i've been without parents Since i'm thirty nine years,
- 36:41Speaker 5: old and So i'm that guy that's like a traffic.
- 36:44Speaker 5: Cop you, know if you start bad mouthing your parents
- 36:46Speaker 5: and my, presence you're quickly going to get a lecture from,
- 36:49Speaker 5: me a loving. One But i'm going to tell you
- 36:51Speaker 5: about why you need to make good with your family
- 36:54Speaker 5: BECAUSE i don't have parents THAT i can fight with.
- 36:56Speaker 5: Anymore and you, know AND i tell, them let me
- 37:00Speaker 5: treasure your time with, them it goes away, quick blah blah.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Blah so when we get into these, things they're, like,
- 37:06Speaker 5: oh but you don't know what my parents, did or
- 37:07Speaker 5: you don't know you know what my mom did or
- 37:09Speaker 5: what my dad did or. Whatever and WHEN i start
- 37:11Speaker 5: to hear those things being in my, shoes it's very
- 37:14Speaker 5: easy for me to always almost write off what they're
- 37:16Speaker 5: saying Because i'm just, like how bad could it? Be
- 37:20Speaker 5: RIGHT i don't have them. ANYMORE i would love to
- 37:22Speaker 5: fight with my parents right, now, Absolutely SO i realize
- 37:28Speaker 5: that sometimes Maybe i'm not being understanding. Enough but some
- 37:31Speaker 5: of the things That i'm, told they didn't prepare them
- 37:36Speaker 5: well for. Life the egg scenario where were talking about
- 37:40Speaker 5: the chicks in the. Shells they felt like they gave
- 37:42Speaker 5: them too much and now they're losers and they're, LIKE
- 37:44Speaker 5: i don't know how to survive in life because they
- 37:46Speaker 5: didn't let me develop that grit over. Protection same, THING
- 37:50Speaker 5: i didn't develop street smarts because they sheltered my, life sibling.
- 37:55Speaker 5: Rivalry they were always doing for my, sister or my
- 37:58Speaker 5: sister was a drug, addict or my brother was special,
- 38:02Speaker 5: needs and some sort of. Jealousy these seem like the right,
- 38:07Speaker 5: questions BUT i don't know that they're willing to take
- 38:10Speaker 5: debait give us more context on getting to the issue
- 38:15Speaker 5: and asking them what they.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Need, WELL i think you, know first of, All i'm
- 38:20Speaker 2: going to tell you to go to a neutral, setting
- 38:22Speaker 2: because if you go somewhere in public to sit, down
- 38:25Speaker 2: you're going to argue, Less you're going to raise your voice.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Less so kind of get to let's go to a,
- 38:29Speaker 2: Restaurant let's let's tell a. Conversation right, witnesses absolutely, Absolutely
- 38:35Speaker 2: But i'm a big fan. Of AND i use this
- 38:38Speaker 2: with couples AND i use it with. Families everything breaks
- 38:42Speaker 2: down into two simple. Things there is an issue and
- 38:45Speaker 2: there's a. Need okay those. Two when you solve those two,
- 38:49Speaker 2: things you solved it. All and the one thing that
- 38:53Speaker 2: parents typically do when they start trying to have this
- 38:56Speaker 2: conversation with their adult child is if they get defensive
- 39:00Speaker 2: of well are you SAYING i wasn't a good? Parent
- 39:03Speaker 2: are you saying THAT i didn't do? Right and so
- 39:05Speaker 2: they get that defensive wall, up and now the, child you,
- 39:10Speaker 2: know we'll call a, child but the adult child seize
- 39:13Speaker 2: those walls AND i, say, well just forget. It it's.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Over i'm not going to take the. Time so one
- 39:17Speaker 2: of the things THAT i try and train my parents
- 39:20Speaker 2: to do is, look don't take this. Personally, yeah don't
- 39:25Speaker 2: look at what you didn't. Do focus on what you're
- 39:29Speaker 2: trying to restore in the, relationship, okay because restoration is
- 39:34Speaker 2: more important than rehashing the. Past the past is. Over
- 39:40Speaker 2: the past is. Over it. Happened you did what you,
- 39:43Speaker 2: did they did what they. Did it's. Over but now
- 39:46Speaker 2: let's put a pin in. It and the left of
- 39:49Speaker 2: the pen is the past and the right of the
- 39:50Speaker 2: pin is the. Future let's focus on the. Future what's
- 39:54Speaker 2: the issue and what's the, need and let's work to
- 39:56Speaker 2: resolve that and let the walls come down and let's
- 40:00Speaker 2: defensiveness goalway and just figure out how to talk heart to.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Heart the emotional connection is so important in a. Family
- 40:10Speaker 2: learn to connect the hearts together and get rid of
- 40:14Speaker 2: your own issues before you go into that conversation with
- 40:17Speaker 2: that adult.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Child excellent, Advice Doctor Vince. Callahan you are a, gentleman a,
- 40:23Speaker 5: scholar and a. Patriot let everybody know where to find.
- 40:27Speaker 5: You where they go to get these. Books is there
- 40:29Speaker 5: a pre order? Website what do they got to? Do
- 40:32Speaker 5: let them.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Know, Well i'm going to be talking with a publisher
- 40:35Speaker 2: about a pre order website and that'll be getting ready
- 40:38Speaker 2: to set. Up LIKE i, said book number two will
- 40:41Speaker 2: be out in Mid. March it'll be In barnes And
- 40:43Speaker 2: noble And amazon and all those kind of. Things The
- 40:46Speaker 2: tricycle book will come out early, fall late, summer and
- 40:50Speaker 2: before then we'll have a website set up where you
- 40:53Speaker 2: can go to and put something out there for the
- 40:55Speaker 2: folks to start doing. It and when we get, closer
- 40:58Speaker 2: maybe you AND i can do another show and say
- 41:00Speaker 2: here it is and here we're ready to. Go they
- 41:03Speaker 2: can always reach me at Doctor vincecalahan dot. Com that's
- 41:06Speaker 2: our clinical. Website so we really have two websites right.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Now one's Doctor vincecalahan dot, com which is if they
- 41:14Speaker 2: want me or to book me to speak or to
- 41:17Speaker 2: book an appointment with. Me that's how that's set. Up
- 41:20Speaker 2: and then The Fine florida dot com is the educational
- 41:23Speaker 2: website where we've got the. Books both websites have the
- 41:27Speaker 2: first book on them you can get and we'll start
- 41:30Speaker 2: doing pre orders on the others here pretty.

- 42:38Speaker 5: now what's interesting about this is, This i've got one of.

- 43:05Speaker 5: One Edit trumpeto, right in true gangster, fashion we're gonna
- 43:09Speaker 5: get to some Ed trumpito AND i had some final
- 43:11Speaker 5: thoughts on what we were talking about with Doctor Vince.
- 43:13Speaker 5: Callahan Doctor vince is explaining the you, know what's going
- 43:18Speaker 5: on with family, estrangement how he himself had an estrangement,
- 43:21Speaker 5: issue it still does with his own. Son this is
- 43:25Speaker 5: something that all to offense happening to. Families all Across.
- 43:28Speaker 5: America people are breaking up with their, families AND i
- 43:31Speaker 5: think it's. WILD i think it's. WRONG i don't think
- 43:33Speaker 5: it's something we should be. Doing and this is WHY
- 43:35Speaker 5: i talk about these. Things BUT i wanted to point
- 43:40Speaker 5: out THAT i believe there's a lot of, hype there's
- 43:43Speaker 5: a lot of. Propaganda there's a lot of stuff THAT
- 43:47Speaker 5: i feel shouldn't be, happening but is. Happening and WHAT
- 43:50Speaker 5: i mean by, that, well some people say it's like
- 43:54Speaker 5: a psychological, operation like information. Warfare, right kids versus, parents
- 44:03Speaker 5: men versus, women real versus. Fake when it comes to
- 44:06Speaker 5: the news, Facts we're gonna have a civil. War every
- 44:10Speaker 5: last video you see people are crying about a civil.
- 44:13Speaker 5: War we're gonna have a civil. War this is, happening that's.
- 44:15Speaker 5: Happening all sorts of things are. Happening but, meanwhile you
- 44:19Speaker 5: go to a, concert you go to the, bank you go,
- 44:22Speaker 5: anywhere you, go local, bar, wherever a. Restaurant people aren't
- 44:26Speaker 5: really killing, themselves are. They nobody was fighting with each.
- 44:29Speaker 5: Other everything was. Fine there was no beef in these.
- 44:32Speaker 5: Streets so what's the big. DEAL i think people are
- 44:34Speaker 5: trying to make it look like things are worse than they.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Are AND i know this because for years, now for several,
- 44:40Speaker 5: years Because i've never Heard i've always been an observe of.
- 44:42Speaker 5: Politics i've been seeing this stuff go down for a long,
- 44:45Speaker 5: time And i've never heard people's, All we're gonna have
- 44:46Speaker 5: a civil. War, Now that's WHAT i hear all the.
- 44:48Speaker 5: Time people just keep talking about it's gonna get to a.
- 44:51Speaker 5: POINT i don't know how much. Longer what do you,
- 44:53Speaker 5: mean you don't know how?
- 44:54Speaker 3: Long?
- 44:54Speaker 5: Wait, magically one day you're gonna wake up and, go, hey,
- 44:56Speaker 5: honey where you gonna. Work, Num i'm just gonna, go,
- 44:59Speaker 5: shoot who does? That don't do. That nobody's calling for
- 45:04Speaker 5: anybody to do. That And i'm not saying these things can.
- 45:06Speaker 5: Happen i'm saying that our enemies are desperate for those
- 45:09Speaker 5: things to. Happen it's very evident within the. Movements, right
- 45:13Speaker 5: you've got The Bernie, SANDERS aoc crowd that's versus The
- 45:18Speaker 5: pelosi on the other side of the, aisle within their,
- 45:21Speaker 5: ranks Within democrats on The republican, side there's also beef
- 45:25Speaker 5: in these. Streets, right there's a, rift there's differences of,
- 45:27Speaker 5: opinion SO i say all of that to, say don't
- 45:30Speaker 5: believe all the. Hype, right people have hype over a
- 45:33Speaker 5: lot of different. Things we don't need to believe all the.
- 45:36Speaker 5: Hype what we do need to do is stay focused
- 45:38Speaker 5: on what's going to benefit.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Us.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Right making sure that kids and parents aren't splitting, up
- 45:43Speaker 5: to make sure that men and women aren't at each other's,
- 45:46Speaker 5: necks at least not in a bad. Way, right making
- 45:49Speaker 5: sure that real and fake we have to agree on.
- 45:52Speaker 5: Something we can't sit here and really just make stuff
- 45:54Speaker 5: up as we go along and subscribe to every last
- 45:59Speaker 5: fear that's on the. Internet at some point we've got
- 46:02Speaker 5: to say, that you, KNOW i think that's, fake that's,
- 46:03Speaker 5: phony it's. Fraud i'm not messing with. That these are
- 46:06Speaker 5: the things THAT i think we need to. Do it's
- 46:08Speaker 5: important that we do it because if we don't do,
- 46:10Speaker 5: it we're. Screwed we're falling right into the trap whomever
- 46:14Speaker 5: these enemies. Are, Right, clearly it's not our friends that
- 46:17Speaker 5: are trying to divide and conquer us from. Within Abraham
- 46:19Speaker 5: lincoln and his UH i see him. Address he said
- 46:23Speaker 5: That america wouldn't fall from foreign, Enemy america would fall from.
- 46:27Speaker 5: WITHIN i Think lincoln was. Right we're going to be
- 46:31Speaker 5: undone by our own. Undoing people are going to trick
- 46:34Speaker 5: us into into into uh into The Civil. WAR i
- 46:37Speaker 5: think it's the craziest thing. Ever they want to to
- 46:42Speaker 5: subvert our our. System they want to demoralize our. People
- 46:47Speaker 5: they want to make sure that we're at each other's
- 46:49Speaker 5: throats so that we can't stand each. Other and it's
- 46:52Speaker 5: it's getting.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Good.
- 46:53Speaker 5: Right you got this race versus that, race this gender
- 46:56Speaker 5: versus that. Gender it's ultimately.
- 47:03Speaker 3: What we make of.
- 47:04Speaker 5: It and sometimes you just got to call out out
- 47:08Speaker 5: for what it.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Is.
- 47:09Speaker 5: Right look at some of the, news for example, Today
- 47:11Speaker 5: i'm looking at some of the news today AND i
- 47:13Speaker 5: see Ed trump betos at. All this magnets the, fifth
- 47:16Speaker 5: forty seventh president of These United, states Ed President DONALD. J.
- 47:20Speaker 5: TRUMP i see the headlines about. Him trump loses In Supreme.
- 47:24Speaker 5: Court trump This trump That trump, defiantly he Goes trump defiantly.
- 47:29Speaker 5: Nothing trump is within his, power within his rights as
- 47:32Speaker 5: president of The United, states saying you know, What, look
- 47:34Speaker 5: you guys said that this part of THE iepa tariffs
- 47:39Speaker 5: are outside of bounds for his role as. President he,
- 47:43Speaker 5: says no. Problem i'm gonna go to the ones that are, inbound,
- 47:46Speaker 5: right that are within the scope of his. Presidency, sure
- 47:49Speaker 5: and he does a ten percent global. Tariff you might
- 47:52Speaker 5: think that's. Retaliation, no that's he's trying to keep things
- 47:55Speaker 5: fair and. Balanced. Right he likes his money that's coming
- 47:57Speaker 5: in almost two hundred billion. Dollars and now they've pretty
- 48:01Speaker 5: much made it clear that, well they've made it clear
- 48:04Speaker 5: insomuch as saying nothing about. It they didn't, say, hey
- 48:07Speaker 5: you could keep this, money you could give the money,
- 48:09Speaker 5: away the money has to go back to the, people
- 48:11Speaker 5: none of. That so you get to assume that the
- 48:15Speaker 5: money's in your purview and you're going to do what
- 48:17Speaker 5: you need to. Do at LEAST i think that's the
- 48:19Speaker 5: assumption they're going to, use and SOMEONE i would use
- 48:21Speaker 5: IF i have money THEN i generated AND i was
- 48:24Speaker 5: expecting to give back to The american people in terms
- 48:26Speaker 5: of a tariff. REBATE i think that's going to. Continue
- 48:30Speaker 5: so kudos to AT, trmpito and hopefully that happens sooner
- 48:33Speaker 5: rather than. Later but ULTIMATELY i brought this up BECAUSE
- 48:37Speaker 5: i wanted you to hear what he had to. Say
- 48:39Speaker 5: he took about a minute and a half to explain his,
- 48:42Speaker 5: position AND i think it's worth listening to check this
- 48:45Speaker 5: out in.
- 48:47Speaker 6: Actuality, why WHILE i am sure that they did not
- 48:51Speaker 6: mean to do, so The Supreme court's decision today made
- 48:55Speaker 6: a president's ability to both regulate trade and impose tariffs
- 48:59Speaker 6: more power powerful and more crystal, clear rather than. LESS
- 49:04Speaker 6: i don't think they meant.
- 49:05Speaker 2: That i'm sure they.
- 49:06Speaker 6: Didn't it's terrible and to think that The democrats who
- 49:14Speaker 6: oppose this only because they want to go the opposite.
- 49:16Speaker 4: Way they'd like.
- 49:17Speaker 2: To pack the.
- 49:18Speaker 6: Court they want to put on twenty one. People they
- 49:20Speaker 6: want to pack the, court pack The Supreme. Court maybe
- 49:23Speaker 6: they should do. It maybe they would be better off
- 49:26Speaker 6: if they did. It they want to pack the. Court
- 49:29Speaker 6: they want to do anything to hurt our. Country there
- 49:33Speaker 6: will no longer be any doubt and the income coming
- 49:36Speaker 6: in and the protection of our companies and country will
- 49:40Speaker 6: actually increase because of this. DECISION i don't think The
- 49:45Speaker 6: court meant, that but that's the way it is based
- 49:48Speaker 6: on longstanding law and hundreds of, victories and even AS
- 49:52Speaker 6: i was pointed out, before even thousands of victories over the.
- 49:56Speaker 6: Years to the, contrary The Supreme court did not overrull.
- 50:00Speaker 6: Tariffs they merely overruled a particularly use OF aepa tariffs
- 50:07Speaker 6: and essentially as to use to get a. FEE i
- 50:10Speaker 6: can do ANYTHING i want WITH aepa, ANYTHING i just.
- 50:14Speaker 7: Can't charge anybody for. IT i can, LICENSE i just
- 50:18Speaker 7: can't charge. Them it's, Ridiculous but it's okay because we
- 50:21Speaker 7: have other, ways numerous other.
- 50:24Speaker 6: Ways the ability to, block, embargo, restrict, license or impose
- 50:31Speaker 6: any other condition on a foreign country's ability to conduct
- 50:36Speaker 6: trade with The United states UNDER aepa has been fully
- 50:41Speaker 6: confirmed by this. Decision so now there's no, doubt because you,
- 50:45Speaker 6: know there were a lot of questions about tariffs because
- 50:48Speaker 6: no president was smart enough to use them to protect
- 50:50Speaker 6: our country.
- 50:51Speaker 5: From, now that wasn't. Everything he had a little bit
- 50:55Speaker 5: more to say when he talked about doubling down on
- 50:57Speaker 5: these tariffs once he was done responding to The Supreme,
- 51:00Speaker 5: court he, said and guess, What i'm allowed to give
- 51:04Speaker 5: these ten percent tariffs, globally And i'm gonna do that.
- 51:06Speaker 5: Too check this, out.
- 51:11Speaker 6: Which have also been confirmed and are fully allowed therefore effective.
- 51:18Speaker 6: Immediately all national security tariffs Under section two thirty two
- 51:23Speaker 6: and Existing section three oh one. Tariffs they're, Existing they're
- 51:27Speaker 6: there remain in, place fully in, place and in full
- 51:34Speaker 6: force and. Effect TODAY i will sign in order to
- 51:37Speaker 6: impose a ten percent global tariff Under section one twenty.
- 51:41Speaker 6: Two over and above are normal tariffs already being. Charged
- 51:46Speaker 6: and we're also initiating Several section three oh one and
- 51:50Speaker 6: other investigations to protect our country from unfair trading practices
- 51:56Speaker 6: of other countries and.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Companies so few people do it Like Ed trumpito does,
- 52:03Speaker 5: Right he knows how to do. IT i think he's
- 52:04Speaker 5: one of the best negotiators out. There and, again this
- 52:06Speaker 5: isn't The trump hour on the. Show this is just
- 52:10Speaker 5: me calling it like it, is telling you the, facts
- 52:12Speaker 5: trying to separate the. FICTION i Think trump didn't. Lose
- 52:16Speaker 5: he might have taken AN l on one, battle but
- 52:19Speaker 5: he's gonna win this, war and, ULTIMATELY i think the
- 52:23Speaker 5: win is for The american. People, NOW i always, say
- 52:27Speaker 5: we've got to be What reagan called us to be.
- 52:32Speaker 5: Right reagan called us to be informed. Patriots how do
- 52:35Speaker 5: we be? INFORMED i think we got to read, something know,
- 52:37Speaker 5: something watch, something share, Stuff share this if you like with.
