- 0:04[SPEAKER_00]: And fueled by brass tax coffee at Sunday, October 11th.

- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: at the very last second, a cam little field goal.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: him little field goal, absolutely insane, from 57 yards away, a walk off winner and Devon Hamilton had to snap the ball in these long snapping situations all game.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: He struggled on the field goal attempt.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: The point after tries, he was doing a good job on the punch, on the punt long snaps, was struggling a little bit, getting him up there a little bit too high.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: on the field goal attempts, but he gets it in a spot where Logan Cook can go up and get it, get it down, Cam Little can nail the ball, 57 yards out, would have been good from 60 plus Cam Little and the last second of the game gives the Jaguars a 19 to 17 victory.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: We are recapping this game, we are celebrating an insane win.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: We are trying to recover from what was the most stressful Sunday morning I can remember.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: my goodness.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: I was ready.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: We're still going to talk about this stuff, but I was ready to talk about penalties, to talk about offensive clock management, to talk about game clock management, to talk about mental mistakes, physical mistakes, galore in this game, the jag wars made, self-inflicted wounds over and over and over again.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: This is the type of game
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: under a different regime, different coaching staff, different circumstances, the Jaguar is probably end up losing by double digits and look.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: Credit to them, every time they made mistakes, they kept coming back.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: They kept fighting.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: They kept with it.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: And again, they made an insane amount of mistakes.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: A 53 yard return on the last return of the game after the Eagles go up 17 to 16 with a late under 10 seconds left eight seconds left on the clock field goal by Jake Elliott They kick it to a mere Abdullah kick it away from Josh Cameron because you remember Josh Cameron returned it all the way for a touchdown that got called back on the very first play of the game
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: A mere of Dola returns at 53 yards goes down with one second left.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: Devon Hamilton has to come in as a long snapper.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Knowing that he has struggled to keep the ball down in these situations all game and credits a Logan cooking Camelittle for doing a good job throughout the game, especially Logan Cook.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: Having to go up and get the ball several times and still get the ball down for Camelittle
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Devon Hamilton has to go out there.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't a perfect snap.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: It was still a little bit high, right?
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: But it was the best one, I think you saw all day in the most important situation for Devon Hamilton.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: Cam little nails it, right down the pipe, game winner, walk off, celebration in London.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is the type of game of the Jaguar's lost,
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, it would be disheartening, but the type of game where you have, I mean, there are so many coaching points from this game.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I record these recaps right after the game ends because I don't want to have heard any of the press conferences, anything like that.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to give my opinion.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: My opinion is Liam Cohen's going to go up on that podium.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to talk about there were a lot of mistakes by the offense today.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: penalties.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: But I think he will admit he has to do a better job than he did in this game.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: It looked Liam Cohen, premier play collar, head coach, vers Big fan geo, premier defensive play collar, defensive coordinator, good on good, very talented Jack Wars offense, very talented Eagles defense.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: That is an unbelievable matchup.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: But what kind of ruined the matchup?
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: So to speak, is the Jaguars shooting themselves in the foot, over and over and over and over again.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars in this game, 13 penalties, 13 penalties for the second week in a row.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: When the Jaguars were not shooting themselves in the foot, they were moving the ball.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: They were doing good things.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: This game honestly had no business.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: being as close as it was.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I do want to give some credits to the Eagles, okay?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: They did some really good things against Jack Wars man coverage in the first half.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: On third and long, like you talk about wicks making a play, you talk about Cooper absolutely burning, buster brown.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: they made place and their defense even though I think if the Jaguar's offense does not beat themselves in this game they put up a ton of points despite the Eagles defense doing some good things despite Jalen Carter wrecking the game for a lot of the game despite you know Zack
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Despite all that, I think if the Jaguars do not commit the penalties they commit, and do not make the mental mistakes that they make on the offensive side of the ball, that the Jaguars walk away from this one with a double digit victory at the very least.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: But they did make the mistakes, and it cost them in a big way.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many mistakes to talk about.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know where to begin.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: honestly it's crazy.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Offensive line really struggled at times and past protection.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was pretty clear.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: Good game plan by the Eagles and good understanding of your opponent in the run game.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: The Jag wars have been really good running the ball, C gap and wider.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: This season they have been.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: They've been really good at getting basal to and outside the tackles.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: In this game, however, the Eagles shut that down.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: And the Jag war has had very little success running outside the tackles.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: They had to turn into a power running game a little bit.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: And they did some good things doing that, but it took a while to get that adjustment going.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: They kept kind of, and they still did some outside runs with very little success.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: But even though he only had 22 carries for 72 yards, I say only 22 carries.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: I meant only 72 yards on 22 carries, 3.3 yards for carry.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: I guarantee you he has more yards after contact than total yards in this game.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: Unbelieveable effort by BacialTune.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: Consistently breaking tackles, caring defenders, you know, the one where they ruled dead and look, another thing you can say.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: The officiating was horrible.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely a trussious in this game.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think both teams got screwed.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: throughout the game, different times by the officiating.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: But ruling basial tutons ford momentum stopped that quickly.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Late in the game, that was really disappointing when he would have picked up the first down.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Hertz having a clear clear.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: In the Inza, which would have been a safety intentional grounding through the ball 20 yards away from the closest receiver.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: That should have been a safety.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: It also could have been ruled a safety based on the fact that I believe it was Eric Garmstadt getting held.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: But never mind the officiating, right?
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: Forget the officiating.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: And also, like the Jaguar is defensively and was getting held a lot of the game.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: Beyond the officiating, the officiating would not have mattered.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: if the Jaguar has handled their business.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: So, I don't care.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: Forget the officiating.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: The game shouldn't have been close.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: You shouldn't have been in that position.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: You beat yourselves in this game.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: You come away with an incredible win to get to four and one on the season, which is huge.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: But the pre-snap execution by the offense, not the whole game, but some of the game and some big moments was atrocious.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Clock banishment.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: So why on earth, there's 42 seconds left in the game.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: The Eagles get the ball into field goal range.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: You let them run off 17 seconds and then call a timeout.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: How?
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: How is that good clock management?
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: That makes zero sense to me.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: There was bad clock management at the end of the first half as well.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: And then in my opinion, Liam Cohen looks like a genius if he ends up getting that jet sweep.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: debatial tune on 4th and 1, right?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: He does, but that is not a play call I like.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: It is 4th and 1, you have the ball first and 1 at the goal line.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: How are you not just trying to pound the rock a little bit, man?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: Give it to Trevor Lawrence, let him do it with his legs.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: He did some great things with his legs today.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I don't want to just, you know, the Jaguars win the game, so I don't want to just, like, totally bash them the whole game or the whole recap, but things deserve to be talked about.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Jaguars got lucky they won this game, and it shouldn't even have been a close game.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: They should have won the game by double digits easily.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: Um, overall, I think the defense did a good job today.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: insanely unfortunate plays, yes, like they did.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: They got way too often in the first half.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: They were giving up third and longs to a team that was without their top-wide receiver, without most of their offensive line.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's just so frustrating.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Just lack of execution at times.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter gets a passenger clearance call, butster brown gets beat down the field,
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: And then the zero blitz in the game as well, I mean, gosh, that should have been a touchdown for Don Tavy on Wix.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: Jarian Jones is flat-footed on the outside, bites on the out and then Don Tavy and Wix blows past him.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen hurts his under pressure, doesn't deliver an accurate football, but that would have been a touchdown.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: That is another play where like the Jack Wars just got lucky.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, they forced Jalen hurts to not make a very accurate pass.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: with the zero blitz, but you can not give up a wider receiver that open.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's insane.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely insane.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: And Jones made good plays too.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter made great plays in this game.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: Buster Brown made some decent plays in this game too.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: Some good plays.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of credit.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: does go around to like the whole team for making good plays and moments, but the whole team not the whole team.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of the team was way too inconsistent in this game.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the Trevor Lawrence Interception, unfortunately, I call it the Queenian Mitchell would get in their exceptional Trevor Lawrence.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I said it would happen because the Eagles would get too much pressure at times.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly what happened.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: The Jack Wars penalties did this to them, poor offensive line played did this to them.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: But they were in way too many, third and longs to not have something go wrong eventually as the pressure starts to mount.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: on one of those plays.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly what happened with the Quignan Mitchell Interception, which was an interception.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think it wasn't an interception.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the ball really moved after it hit the ground.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: Bang, bang, play, right?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: But some credit goes to the Jaguars as well.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Ventral Miller played incredibly well.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the Jaguar's defense, you know, Travis Hunter outside of the PI played really well.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the defensive front just dominated for a lot of the game, you know, Devon Hamilton gave him a game ball for, for getting that snap, but also like the way he dominated against the run.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: the way that the entire defense of line and defense of front dominating against the run, you know, ventral millers past broke, break up late in the game was great.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: Antonio Johnson coming down hill was great.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: His blitz late in the game with Trayvon Walker, them combining for that sack.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: Antonio Johnson has been a menace blitzing.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: He has made so many places of blitzer.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then he made a bunch of plays coming down hill as well too.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Trevor Lawrence made two big mistakes in this game.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: One of them was the fumble where he held onto the ball too long and did not move in the pocket.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: The first fumble, it happened Bang Bang play, it is what it is.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: The second fumble by Trevor, I thought was on Trevor.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the offensive line got beat after a while, but Trevor has to feel that pressure.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: He has to be able to maneuver the pocket better than that.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that in the interception, you know, it wasn't that bad of an interception overall.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: It was in a bad moment, a bad situation, but you have pressure bearing down on you.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: You have third and longs all game.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, that's gonna happen.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like, honestly, I feel like that was just bound to happen.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: but I thought Trevor Lawrence made so many good plays in this game too.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: So many throws that were impressive.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: Both throws to Brian Thomas Jr. in the end zone should have been caught for a touchdown.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: And Brian Thomas Jr. was not able to come up with them.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: So credit for Trevor for those throws.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: The throws to Parker Washington, and oh my gosh, Parker Washington.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: That catch, first off, that throw.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: by Trevor Lawrence and a great catch by Parker Washington.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: How about Trevor Lawrence rolling left throwing back across his body over the middle of the field, giving Britain strange, a very catchable football?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: Trevor did some really good things in this game.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's also some things you want to get back, obviously.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: But I think Trevor Lawrence played winning football for you.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: He ends up with 330 yards, two passing touchdowns.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: He also ends up with, you know, where is it?
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: Three carries for 25 yards.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: Thought those were big for the Jaguars offense as well.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington, six for 124 and two touchdowns.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Britain strange got very close to scoring two touchdowns.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: Tackled at the one twice I believe.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: Seven catches on eight targets.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Did have a drop, which you can't have.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: You can't have that drop.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: But eight targets, seven catches 68 yards for Britain's strange.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: You'll take that all day.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Cameron obviously a great effort by him today.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: He caught three passes for 43 yards.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Also was a great return by him.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, they ended up being penalties and crazy first play of the game, BTJ, and...
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah Trotter Jr. both end up getting ejected.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: There's those penalties after the play.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's the penalties during the play by both teams.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that was absolutely crazy.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: Jacobi Myers, when he was targeted, did his work, did a good job, Nate Borkacher contributing.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: I loved, loved the play call, where Travis Hunter,
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: got his only catch of the day for a first down for nine yards.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: You have Travis Hunter and Britain strange on the offensive right side and you motion Britain strange out to be the outside receiver and you get Travis Hunter lined up on Nolan Smith.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: That was like
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: chef's kiff's type stuff right there.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: There was a lot of stuff that was not chef's kiff's stuff right like in the game But that one was one that it really stood out to me.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: It was just like, oh, this is brilliant Okay, now you have Travis Hunter lined up on Nolan Smith hit him.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: Nolan Smith's a good player.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: He should not be covering Travis Hunter and cover drape so Ooh, what a freaking game man I thought Eric Arm said was firing off the ball well
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Trayvon was playing well.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: Thought Josh Hines Island did a lot of good things.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar has held the Eagles to 1.2 yards per carry.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, Jalen Hurts made some big plays down the field, right?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: But he had to throw the ball 40 times and only got 220 yards.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's defense overall, yes, they made some mistakes.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they gave up the one big horrible third and ten for 62 yards and a touchdown.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: But they did the job overall in this game, in my opinion.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's against a team that you should do your job against.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: But they did their job.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's offense was the reason that this game was as close as it was.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: The mistakes by the Jaguar's offense was the reason this game was as close as it was.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: When you talk about BTJ not being able to come up with either of those touchdown catches, you talk about the clock management, you talk about the pre-snap operation at times.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, this was a road game for the Jaguar's.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: It absolutely was.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: It was a road game for the Jaguars, supposed to be a home game on the schedule.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: There were way more Eagles fans.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: It was loud during that game when the Jaguars were on offense.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: My goodness.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: They come away with a victory.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: They're four and one.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't think you could come away with a win and have more coaching points.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: Because even though I've given the Jaguars defense credit for doing their job,
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: still a ton of coaching points in that.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: Offence, you have got to clean up the pre-snap operation.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: You have got, and look, the Eagles have a great defensive one.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: They do.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: They have a great defensive coordinator.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: They have one of the premier game records in the league in Jalen Carter.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: But you've got to perform better on the offensive one.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: And Ants on Harrison goes down.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: That is, or he was questionable return.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what ends up happening there.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: Ross Madison went down with a shoulder injury.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: That obviously is an impact on the game, but like that shouldn't have ended up mattering in a game like this because the Jaguar should have been ahead to where it wasn't a big deal.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, Devon ends up getting a decent enough snap off for Camlittle to nail the ball.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: 57 yards, paider, feel-go-good, Jaguar's walk away, last second, end of game, final play, 1917 walk off, feel-go.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: How about it?
- 20:07[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
