  Speaker 1: But a righteous person is as brave as a lion. Ooh,

  Speaker 2: He's twenty years of my drinking career. Being able to

  Speaker 1: AA recovery because I am a recovering alcoholic. That's where

  Speaker 1: most of my problems started from drinking. And three my
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: significant other and I won't get into the details.

  Speaker 2: Of that because it is more private. And for my brother,
• 3:47
  Speaker 2: I take care of him the best that I can.
• 3:49
  Speaker 2: And five my mom. I take care of her and
• 3:52
  Speaker 2: the nursing home takes care of her.
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: Those five in particular are my main priority.
• 3:59
  Speaker 2: It's very.

  Speaker 1: Sentimental to me, it's very important, and how I've already
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: gotten so much At a verse one Obviously.

  Speaker 1: A poor person who is cruel to helpless people is

  Speaker 1: like a storm that destroys crops.

  Speaker 1: out there. It's okay to do your research and figure

  Speaker 1: out what's going on in the world, but obviously staying

  Speaker 1: in the world is the most beneficial thing to do

  Speaker 1: to keep you connected to the truth.

  Speaker 1: stands out just for you. Proverbs chapter twenty eight, Verse

  Speaker 1: four states, people who do not obey the law praise
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: wicked people, but people who obey the law.

  Speaker 2: Speak against wicked people.

  Speaker 1: Now, when we're talking about the law here, I've definitely
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: had my run ins with the law, and there's been
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: plenty of times that I have gone against God's word.
• 6:22
  Speaker 2: And that's where we're really going to dive deep in.
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: Right now, we're talking about obeying the law, the law
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: of Moses.
• 6:31
  Speaker 2: When Jesus was about to be crucified, he says, I
• 6:36
  Speaker 2: am the law of Moses.
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: Moses said that there would be someone that comes after me.
• 6:43
  Speaker 2: That is greater than I. So let's get into it deeper.

  Speaker 1: Verse five states evil people do not understand justice, but
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: people who serve the Lord understand.
• 6:59
  Speaker 2: All about it. Serving the Lord takes.

  Speaker 1: The obedience, being a obedient participant of serving Christ and

  Speaker 1: doing what is right over a consistent level of time,

  Speaker 1: being able to understand that there is so much more
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: that comes with just believing and following Christ. Trust me,

  Speaker 1: I know the difference for over fifteen to almost twenty years.

  Speaker 1: I just believed. You can't just believe, you know, And
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: being where where I am at today, even the people
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: that are closest around me one they might not believe me.
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: They don't trust me, they don't understand me. And that's okay.

  Speaker 1: I do not pay attention to that. I am doing

  Speaker 1: God's will by following his son and having the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: Were talking about the Holy Trinity, Now, okay. Evil people

  Speaker 1: do not understand justice. That's why they're in the justice system.

  Speaker 2: I was, And it does.

  Speaker 1: Not matter how good or bad my circumstances may have been.

  Speaker 1: There's been periods of time in my life that I

  Speaker 1: was living evil and not really doing what God wanted

  Speaker 1: me to do, and I had to pay at the

  Speaker 1: consequences by going to jail, going to these hospitals, and

  Speaker 1: you know, there's no family members, there's no loved ones,

  Speaker 1: there's no you know, girlfriend in these positions.

  Speaker 2: When I'm I've been through it. I've been through it.

  Speaker 1: I've been around amongst murderers, I've been around amongst some

  Speaker 1: of the most wicked people you could ever imagine.

  Speaker 1: It is better to be poor and live in an

  Speaker 1: honest way than to be a rich hypocrite. Ooh, I

  Speaker 1: can say that I used to know a rich hypocrite.

  Speaker 1: Now we're not really on great terms. We are going

  Speaker 1: definitely two different directions. Does not matter how much money

  Speaker 1: you have in your bank account, It does not matter

  Speaker 1: how much material things you have obtained. If you are

  Speaker 1: a hypocrite, if you are somebody that looks down and

  Speaker 1: belittles other people because one their situation or one or
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: two because of their money.

  Speaker 2: We're talking finances.
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: If you're talking about you know, whatever shortcomings that they have,

  Speaker 1: you know, you're just as bad as somebody that is
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: in the justice system. Let me get even deeper. Verse seven.

  Speaker 1: If you obey the law, you are a wise child.
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: But if you make friends with the greedy, with greedy people,
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: you will make your parents ashamed.
• 9:57
  Speaker 2: Verse eight.

  Speaker 1: If you make people will pay more when you lend

  Speaker 1: money to them, you may become rich. We're talking about

  Speaker 1: the interest rate, right, We're talking about when when we

  Speaker 1: God wants us to multiply, not just for children and

  Speaker 1: getting a tax return. We're talking about multiplying and being

  Speaker 1: able to use money and budget money in a better fashion.

  Speaker 1: I know that I can raise my hand that I'm
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: not that great with haven't been that great with budgeting money,
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: and I was an impulsive spender as well as an alcoholic.

  Speaker 1: But I'm here to tell you today that moving forward,

  Speaker 1: as things transpire into me continuing to put that consciousness

  Speaker 1: of Christ on each and every day, it's a choice.

  Speaker 1: I can push it away too. Here's the thing. Christ

  Speaker 1: is not going to force himself upon you. Seeking you
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: shall find, But if you are not seeking, you will
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: not find him.

  Speaker 2: It's as simple as that. Do you want me to

  Speaker 1: You're using God or like a genie in a bottle.

  Speaker 1: It's not gonna work. It's not gonna work. And I

  Speaker 1: would say something on top of that, but I won't.

  Speaker 1: We're gonna get into verse ten, and we'll probably close out. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: do evil things, your own evil trap will catch you.

  Speaker 1: Nothing wrong will receive good things. Let's go a little

  Speaker 1: deeper Verse eleven. A rich person thinks that he knows everything,

  Speaker 1: but a poor person who understands people knows what.

  Speaker 1: When we're talking financially, let's get a little deeper. Proverbs

  Speaker 1: chapter twenty eight, verse twelve states when righteous people have power,

  Speaker 1: everybody is happy. But when wicked people have power, good

  Speaker 1: people run away to hide. Oh my goodness, let's just
• 13:43
