Many times the government run school system is doing what it was designed to do, even though test scores have been declining year after year, illiteracy is off the charts.

Classrooms are a mess chaotic, but you say the schools actually do what they're designed to do.

Wouldn't that wouldn't they be successful if they're doing what they're they were designed to do explain that please.

Yeah, thank you David and a lot of people don't understand this that's actually been my biggest challenge because everybody understands the schools are producing kids who can't read and write everybody understands that the kids are being confused at the point where they don't know what bathroom to go in, but people all think that this is a failure of the system they say it's broken we have to fix it.

And my point is no no no you don't understand why it was created when you understand why it was created and we have smoking and evidence from the creators of this machine you understand it's working really really well from their perspective because their goal was not to create well educated highly literate God fearing patriotic Americans who could sustain Christian civilization for future generations.

Their goals range from turning our kids into communist turning our kids against their family turning our kids against the Bible and the God of the Bible and so when you understand that that was the actual objective and this can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt with their own writings you understand wow it's working really really good now to be fair 10 15 20% of the kids might.

Through educating themselves on their own and paying good attention to their godly parents and listening to the pastor at church and reading the word of God on their own they might make it through so it's not 100% successful because then they'd be capturing 100% of our young people but it's incredibly successful from the perspective of dumbing down indoctrinating and sexualizing our children and that was the goal all along.

Okay let's jump to an article that's over at Freedom Project Media at Freedom Project dot com as well as Liberty Sentinel dot org and that is an honors student is suing after graduating without being able to read friends you heard that correctly despite graduating from high school with honors and being accepted to the University of Connecticut on a scholarship there's a 19 year old government school victim Alicia Ortiz cannot read or write at all.

Literally and she's not alone tell us more about this Alex I think people have a hard time believing it.

Yeah and the reality is Dave and people are shocked when they hear this at least those who can read is this is actually the norm in America we have the data the last time the federal government did a comprehensive literacy survey of American adults they found that 50% of American adults were in the bottom two categories out of five in other words they're functionally illiterate they may be able to recognize the the stop sign and understand that that means stop.

But if you give them an essay to read if you put the word of God in front of them as I hear read out of you know second Corinthians what you know no I got to run to the bathroom and that's because they can't read so the only thing that makes this young woman in Connecticut unique is that she decided to file a lawsuit she's 19 years old graduated high school with honors literally cannot read a word literally could not read the high school diploma she received and she is one of tens of millions of victims of this horrific system.

Many of them have been told that they have some disability many of them have been told that they're stupid nothing could be further from the truth the reason they're illiterate is the quackery being used in the government schools it was first exposed by the way right when it was tried out in the 1830s 1840s technically under the leadership of Horace man in Boston we've known for 170 years now that this quackery does not work if you want to teach children how to read and yet they continue to use it.

They continue to use it and they continue to mass produce illiterates so I wish this girl well if every victim of the government school system in America decides to sue the system and try to get millions of dollars America will be broke because that'll be half the country maybe more but it's good that this is shining attention on this day because people need to know what their tax dollars are paying for hundreds of thousands of dollars went into producing this illiterate it's a crime against her it's a crime against the taxpayer it's a crime against our country and people ought to be held accountable.

Now let's jump to a poll also this available at Liberty Sentinel three and four Americans dissatisfied with public education I'll read a quote and let you elaborate a little bit Alex Newman.

First of all the national assessment of education progress I hear the word progress in that I kind of you can put a LOL by that but anyway the US government standardized academic testing results show US students are getting dumber less than one in three are even proficient in any core subject the new Gallup data shows government schools ranked 29 out of 31 in public satisfaction with that.

With key areas of society like ranging from the military health care race issues the environment government schools almost at the rock bottom Alex go ahead.

The thing that really perplexes me is how there could be like 23 24% of Americans who are satisfied with this atrocity masquerading isn't it.

And my guess is probably most of them work for the system or their spouse works for the system you know they depend on the system some way and so they can't be totally honest and say yes a dumpster fire we all know it's a dumpster fire or they live under a rock somewhere haven't been exposed to the public school system in decades.

The reality is when you have 75% of Americans dissatisfied with something that they're paying a trillion dollars a year for the warning lights are blinking bright red the alarms are sounding the danger here.

Is is not that people are waking up to the scam the danger is that as people wake up from the scam the same scam artists will come up with a new scam to try to perpetuate the grift and to try to bring everybody else into the system which is what's happening right now now you've got people who are realizing what everybody's waking up system doesn't work kids are dumber than they've ever been they don't know what happened to go in I know.

Let's make the private schools and the homeschoolers do the same thing everybody's doing right so so that's the role danger there Dave and I hope people recognize if you're not dissatisfied with the public school system you are not paying attention I mean if you think one in three girls CDC data should be seriously considering suicide you must love the public school system if you think one in 10 girls seriously attempting suicide is a good metric you must love the public school system if you think those things are crazy then you should join the rest of the country and saying this is unacceptable.

Well former Arizona superintendent of public instruction Diane Douglas urged dissatisfied parents to take the plunge and remove their children from the system she's she in an interview with you she said what is shocking to me is how few make the move to get their children out parents get your children out whatever it takes the reason I'm bringing all this up and wanted to talk with Alex today on this very important topic and podcast because even President Donald Trump has been sound

downing the alarm and he he says we're ranked number one in cost per pupil but we're at the bottom when it comes to or near the bottom when it comes to reading and math so Alex people want to know sincerely Christians conservatives Republicans independence want to know is this a realistic endeavor for the Trump administration go ahead.

Well there's a lot to say there and first I shout out to my sister in Christ Diane Douglas she was the superintendent of all the public schools in Arizona up until about 2020 I believe is when she no longer was serving in that position but she held basically every position in the leadership of the government school system in Arizona that one could hold she was on the school board president of the school board all the way up to the pinnacle of the government school bureaucracy in Arizona a superintendent of the entire system and she came to talk I gave.

2019 I was on speaking to her exposing the government school system and we talked afterward and I just I so enjoyed talking with her she's like you know what you're right like I thought God put me in this position to help me fix the system and and I'm realizing now that God put me in the system to realize it couldn't be fixed and to tell people it's time to abandon the sinking ship.

So she was kind enough actually to write the forward to to my book and she'll give you an insiders perspective on this system and why it cannot be redeemed so people can get a copy that she's a wonderful wonderful lady she now serves on our advisory board for public school exit switching over to your question Dave about the Trump administration.

You know I'll start by saying it's a baby step in the right direction that we're now talking about getting the federal government out of education talking about shutting down the Department of Education.

But I would caution people not to get too enthusiastic just yet if you look at what is being proposed and I don't want to be the bearer of bad news I'm not just trying to be a contrarian to be a contrarian but if you look at what's being discussed in Washington DC.

It's not what people assume it is when they hear dismantle the Department of Education let's go to Linda McMahon's testimony.

Interest and confirmation hearings she said hey we're going to put this function that probably better over at Health and Human Services this function would probably be better at the Department of Interior this will be better at labor.

So what we're talking about here is restructuring the federal involvement in education yes they'll shut down the bureaucracy.

But unless and until we repeal at least five key statutes that were passed by Congress that authorize this federal meddling in the school system shutting down the Department of Education is really not going to move the ball very far down the field in a good direction because again we're just redistributing these functions the mandates will be there the money will continue to be there.

And so we have a long way to go and you know I hope people don't just here we're shutting down the Department of Education okay we can go back to sleep send your kids to public school absolutely not.

But let's talk about professional forecasters predicting the Exodus from government schools that will accelerate dramatically in the years ahead here's what I see a couple problems with that first of all fear of the unknown people hesitant to homeschool also the media and here's what I mean by that it's in the article parents don't get accurate or truthful information I believe the media has been complicit because they're on the left they support all things government education and big government.

They don't get info about the dangers of their local government schools they certainly don't hear that in the news very often if they do at all falsely believing that the schools aren't as bad as what some on the right like the Alex Newman's and the Glenn backs and the conservatives and the Christians are saying they are your thoughts Alex and then we've got to take a break.

Yeah it's a very significant problem is you have a widespread understanding that the system is rotten to the core but my local brainwash camp is not that bad because it's Sally works there and folks you got to get yourself out of that idea we have a national and really an international indoctrination system now your local school board might control a little bit about the salaries that the teachers are paid but what is being taught in there is being decided in Washington DC it's being decided in Paris at UNESCO headquarters it's being decided in New York where the big textbook publishers are so we have to

the department has made tremendous progress pairing back what it considers unnecessary projects before McMahon was even confirmed by the Senate the department issued a press release announcing that it had terminated over $600 million in grants to institutions and nonprofits that were using taxpayer funds to train teachers and education agencies on divisive ideologies and then it talks about CRT and DEI

so there's there was the battle was already being kind of prepped I guess to to handle this this big problem so your thoughts on that and maybe how incrementally is this going to help you just go ahead.

Well again there's so much to say on this day when I think at this point all those things that we're talking about are good right I mean of course it's good to shut down unconstitutional federal funding for crazy training for crazy programs for crazy teachers everybody with any sense to be able to see that but this is like trying to stick your finger in the die and hope that the whole thing is not a measure going to blow it's like an avalanche coming towards you taking a spoon to protect yourself you know it's it's a torrent and it's going to wash you away your spoon is going to be totally and utterly useless when it comes to dealing with this.

So we need to take a more holistic approach here and you know to go to project 25 I know a trump disavowed it on the campaign trail but a lot of project twenty five people are working in his administration and a lot of them came from his administration and you know full disclosure I know a lot of those guys a lot of them are great people well intention love them.

But if you look at the education section it talks about what we're seeing right now it proposes for example the Department of Education reorganization or restructuring act that would do exactly what I said scatter all these functions to different bureaucracies.

That is not going to be the kind of victory people are looking for and look I'm going to go a step further Dave and I know people are going to get mad at me for saying this but I just need to call it like I see it.

I don't think getting as much as I support the idea and it should happen I don't think getting rid of the Department of Education is going to be this panacea to save the public school system.

I think we need to look at the education system as a hydra that is devouring children as using all these tentacles to devour little kids helpless little kids whose parents naively trusted them with the system.

And you could chop off the Department of Education tentacle you could chop off the NEA tentacle you could chop off the UNESCO tentacle you could chop off any of these tentacles even multiple of these tentacles and it wouldn't fix the problem that's got plenty of other tentacles it'll keep devouring your kids and if you know anything about a hydra it'll grow back those tentacles anyway might be a rebranded tentacle but what we have here.

It's a system that comes from a poison seed and if you don't believe me go to the Bible Bible says judge something by its fruit what is the fruit of the system well it's cleared for all the seed so little tweaks on a bad system are not going to solve this problem we need to think much much bigger.

It's so important that you said that and that you're taking this approach Alex because I believe it's important we might hear some good things about their intentions for a long time republican presidents have tried or at least they made promises and maybe a few have tried to even get in there but to talk about dismantling or restructuring.

and we live below the federal poverty line for years and here's we got six kids right and I certainly don't make a lot of money

doing journalism and education but that's okay there's no sacrifice that's too big for my children

and on that point of well my tax dollars are already going down the rat hole so I might as well send my kids to me what

in there and it does give us some hope but like Alex said first of all we've got to make sure

is to make sure our children Christian children are taking care of and protected and by sending them
