2:43
Speaker 4: Want to welcome into the show now, friend of the program,
2:46
Speaker 4: Jill Scarborough from a Bright Future Learning Services located in
2:49
Speaker 4: Putnam County.
2:50
Speaker 2: Good morning, welcome to the show.
2:51
Speaker 5: Good morning, thanks for having me back.
2:53
Speaker 2: Dave, you got a big events coming up this weekend.
2:55
Speaker 5: We do we're bringing the circus to town.
2:57
Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, you're in the circle us right now when
3:00
Speaker 4: you walk into the station, but go ahead in that life.
3:03
Speaker 5: Man, is this one big circus and so we just
3:05
Speaker 5: have a good time with it.
3:06
Speaker 2: Different kind of circus, though, what will you get going on?
3:09
Speaker 6: So for our nonprofit, Right Right Futures is a therapy
3:13
Speaker 6: center that then we founded Community Autism Resources and Education
3:17
Speaker 6: Systems CARES to provide outreach and so we have our
3:22
Speaker 6: Sensory Circus this Saturday Valley Park. Registration starts at eleven.
3:27
Speaker 6: Full event run is twelve to three. That what happens
3:31
Speaker 6: is we largely take over Valley Park and make it
3:34
Speaker 6: one big sensory celebration and experience.
3:38
Speaker 4: Now, when you say that sensory circus, explain what is
3:43
Speaker 4: different about that.
3:45
Speaker 6: So, as you know CARES, we primarily serve children with
3:48
Speaker 6: autism and their families. And so if you know a
3:50
Speaker 6: little bit about autism, you've heard folks on the spectrum
3:54
Speaker 6: might experience things a little bit differently. So they might
3:57
Speaker 6: you know, be sensitive to sound, they might be or
4:00
Speaker 6: or extra extra really dig it and really get into it.
4:03
Speaker 6: And so this event is a little bit of a
4:06
Speaker 6: reverse inclusion.
4:07
Speaker 5: Model where we go, you.
4:09
Speaker 6: Know what, let's really create an immersive experience throughout the
4:14
Speaker 6: park to really stop and touch and play and experience stuff.
4:19
Speaker 6: So what happens is at the beginning at twelve o'clock,
4:22
Speaker 6: we bring in for performers from Cincinnati Circus, so we
4:25
Speaker 6: have aerialists they like, breathe fire, I don't know, it's
4:29
Speaker 6: a good time. And then after that we set up
4:32
Speaker 6: a sensory walk through the back trail section section of
4:36
Speaker 6: Valley Park, and so you'll walk through a big tunnel
4:40
Speaker 6: of you're surrounded with pinwheels, and so the intention here
4:44
Speaker 6: is like stop and check it out and take them inte.
4:48
Speaker 5: It's a little bit of mindfulness.
4:49
Speaker 6: Too, if you choose to do it that way, but
4:52
Speaker 6: is stop and pause and check out how cool it
4:55
Speaker 6: is when there's a bunch of pinwheels in a line
4:57
Speaker 6: and they're all spending at the same time. And then
4:59
Speaker 6: next go through we hang hula hoops down from trees
5:02
Speaker 6: and walk through them and spin and play. And so
5:05
Speaker 6: the whole day is about play for everybody and especially yes,
5:11
Speaker 6: our our kids and families with autism. But this event
5:13
Speaker 6: is for everyone it is not just for you know,
5:17
Speaker 6: folks on this back.
5:18
Speaker 2: How many years has this been happening.
5:20
Speaker 6: So we've been having an event similar for nine years.
5:26
Speaker 6: This is the second year that we've done it as
5:28
Speaker 6: the Sensory Circus. Like it's progressed over you know, over
5:31
Speaker 6: the year, and we really locked in last year and said, no,
5:34
Speaker 6: our goal is we really want a signature community event
5:37
Speaker 6: that is known as an event you just want to
5:39
Speaker 6: go to and it's cool and it's different, and so
5:43
Speaker 6: we didn't want to have to pick a theme every year.
5:45
Speaker 6: And we're like, no, you know, it's about autism, but
5:47
Speaker 6: also it's about community and awareness and having a good time.
5:50
Speaker 6: So we locked in we're just going to keep it
5:52
Speaker 6: the Sensory Circus. The other thing that happens is because
5:55
Speaker 6: we have such a great relationship with Ballely Park, this
5:58
Speaker 6: largely is also a public art display that we're able
6:01
Speaker 6: to leave up for a couple of weeks on the
6:04
Speaker 6: trail system these tunnels and that kind of stuff too.
6:08
Speaker 6: So it's it's there really is nothing else like it,
6:11
Speaker 6: even when I've looked, you know, maybe nationwide there's something similar,
6:14
Speaker 6: but in my limited research, I've not seen anything else.
6:19
Speaker 6: That really is designed to do this in this way.
6:23
Speaker 4: And I would imagine if that is the case, what
6:25
Speaker 4: you are saying that you're going to draw people from
6:26
Speaker 4: not just Puttingham in Kanawa County, You're going to draw
6:28
Speaker 4: people from all over the state of West Virginia maybe beyond.
6:30
Speaker 6: That's that's the goal, and that's for Cares now too.
6:34
Speaker 6: I'm so proud of how far we've come because it
6:36
Speaker 6: just started after a tragedy from a family on the
6:38
Speaker 6: wait list, you know, at right Futures, and we said, listen,
6:41
Speaker 6: we got to do something, even if it's wrong.
6:42
Speaker 5: We don't know what we're doing. We don't know we're starting,
6:44
Speaker 5: but we're doing.
6:44
Speaker 2: Some of the best ideas come from we don't know
6:46
Speaker 2: what we're doing now.
6:47
Speaker 6: I think that's where all of them come, right. You
6:49
Speaker 6: just got to be brave and go, you know what,
6:50
Speaker 6: something's got to give. We got to do it. And
6:52
Speaker 6: so next year we'll celebrate ten years of figuring it
6:54
Speaker 6: out and Cares has grown. Now we have monthly events
6:58
Speaker 6: for families between Queen Charleston and Huntington, where our primary
7:02
Speaker 6: attachment area really is the Kanau Valley, and we have
7:05
Speaker 6: funding from you know, both ends the Greater knav Valley
7:08
Speaker 6: Foundation Palatine.
7:09
Speaker 5: We right now have a Benetem grant and so our.
7:11
Speaker 6: Goal is to make systems level change and impact. And
7:15
Speaker 6: so we've got three levels of services for families. Our
7:18
Speaker 6: immediate is these monthly events where it's at least once
7:21
Speaker 6: a month. Families know they can go for free and
7:25
Speaker 6: have a place where're gonna be welcome and met with
7:27
Speaker 6: other families that are walking a similar path. And you're
7:29
Speaker 6: not going to be met with side eye and judgment.
7:31
Speaker 6: So if your kid has a meltdown, you're gonna be
7:32
Speaker 6: met with like yeah, same girl, me too, you know,
7:35
Speaker 6: like how can I help you? And then from there
7:37
Speaker 6: you connect with our advocate who then can you know
7:40
Speaker 6: if mom, you need to have a real conversation about man,
7:42
Speaker 6: this is really hard. I really love my kid and
7:44
Speaker 6: this is hard, Like you can have those conversations and
7:48
Speaker 6: then too, she can help you navigate the gauntlet of
7:50
Speaker 6: services like Okay, therapy services, insurance, school systems.
7:55
Speaker 5: Taylor is our advocate.
7:56
Speaker 6: She's a parent, she got two kids on the spectrum herself,
7:58
Speaker 6: so she gets it. And the work that she does
8:02
Speaker 6: now a lot of is advocating with the school systems
8:05
Speaker 6: to help the schools also get the resources they need
8:08
Speaker 6: to be able to serve your child and to make
8:10
Speaker 6: sure that their education plans are designed to meet them.
8:13
Speaker 5: So have that program and then our long term program.
8:16
Speaker 6: Again we're about systems change is if you go back
8:19
Speaker 6: to the beginning for us, this was a tragedy that
8:21
Speaker 6: happened for a family waiting to get services at right futures,
8:25
Speaker 6: which we know that less than five percent of kids
8:27
Speaker 6: in the state have access to applied behavior analysis therapy,
8:31
Speaker 6: which is the most evidence based therapy. We know we
8:34
Speaker 6: can make trajectory changing progress sometimes if we can get
8:38
Speaker 6: kids early and do quality work intensively. So again, less
8:41
Speaker 6: than five percent of kids in state have access to that,
8:43
Speaker 6: and at this point it's mostly because the lack of providers.
8:46
Speaker 6: We have functionally zero workforce training system for therapists behavior
8:51
Speaker 6: analysis therapists, and so we right now have a grant
8:54
Speaker 6: from the Beninum Foundation helping us design an apprenticeship program
8:58
Speaker 6: for our frontline technicians, and we're truly working on how
9:01
Speaker 6: do we develop the workforce.
9:03
Speaker 5: Training system in the state.
9:04
Speaker 6: And so again cares We're about, you know, right now,
9:07
Speaker 6: how can we help be a life vest and a
9:09
Speaker 6: life jacket for families that are trying to navigate and
9:11
Speaker 6: survive while we then do the decades of work that
9:15
Speaker 6: it's going to take to make a real dent in
9:17
Speaker 6: the system.
9:17
Speaker 2: We'll talking did Jill Scarborough.
9:19
Speaker 4: It's nine to seventeen of Dave Island Show on five
9:21
Speaker 4: Vitieline brownche part by Mortga to Mortgative, America's largest injury
9:24
Speaker 4: law firm. If you're injured this forthpeople dot com? Are
9:26
Speaker 4: you at liberty to discuss in a very broad sense
9:30
Speaker 4: that tragedy that led to a lot of this.
9:32
Speaker 6: And I've we have permission from the family to talk
9:35
Speaker 6: about it. I don't name them, but they they're aware
9:38
Speaker 6: and have done some video with us, and they have
9:41
Speaker 6: given permission for us to talk about it. That at
9:46
Speaker 6: Bright Futures and again every there's only about twenty ish
9:50
Speaker 6: ABA providers in the state right and we all have
9:52
Speaker 6: never ending wait lists, and so at Bright Futures, we
9:55
Speaker 6: really we recognize it's a treau situation that okay, we've got,
10:00
Speaker 6: you know, in essence, like one vial of medicine, how
10:02
Speaker 6: do you decide who gets it? And so our our
10:06
Speaker 6: weight list is not at all a traditional weightlist. It
10:08
Speaker 6: is not first come, first served that the primary thing
10:10
Speaker 6: that we attend to is parent engagement and parent involvement
10:13
Speaker 6: because this, you know, to do our program, it really
10:15
Speaker 6: is more like diet and exercise.
10:17
Speaker 5: It's not a magic pill. This is hard work.
10:19
Speaker 6: And so it's really got to be parents that are like, no,
10:21
Speaker 6: help me fish and teach me to fish. So anyway,
10:24
Speaker 6: our on our weight list, we you know, explain to
10:26
Speaker 6: families this is what it is, and then we refer
10:28
Speaker 6: them to cares and other you know, other resources. But
10:30
Speaker 6: we also encourage families to be the squeaky wheel, right
10:33
Speaker 6: so that when we have in the ability to take someone,
10:36
Speaker 6: we know like, okay, who's really what indicators do we
10:39
Speaker 6: have that if this is a family that's really going
10:40
Speaker 6: to work with us, is a really eager to learn,
10:42
Speaker 6: you know, how to best help their child. And so
10:45
Speaker 6: we say, if you want to call and check in
10:46
Speaker 6: every week, you can call and check in every week.
10:48
Speaker 5: We don't care.
10:49
Speaker 6: Whatever makes you feel better as a parent to know
10:51
Speaker 6: I'm doing everything I possibly can to help my child.
10:53
Speaker 6: And so there was a family that was in Putnam
10:57
Speaker 6: County and this mom was the fantastic mom. She was
11:01
Speaker 6: a birth to three, you know, service coordinator. She had
11:03
Speaker 6: two kids on the spectrum or one son had down
11:06
Speaker 6: syndrome and on the autism spectrum, and she had been
11:09
Speaker 6: you know, calling regularly, working with other families, helping them,
11:13
Speaker 6: and she called us. If I can't remember, it's literally
11:17
Speaker 6: the day before at least like very close in time
11:19
Speaker 6: to then her getting to her breaking point, and she
11:23
Speaker 6: shot both of her children and herself.
11:25
Speaker 2: Wow.
11:26
Speaker 6: And the one son did survive. But that tragedy shook
11:33
Speaker 6: us at Bright Futures Room, you know. And the other
11:36
Speaker 6: thing was the response from our other families that we
11:39
Speaker 6: are the ones who do have services. That their response
11:42
Speaker 6: wasn't oh my god, how can that happen? It was yeah,
11:45
Speaker 6: I get it, that could be me. And so that's
11:48
Speaker 6: when CARES were like, man, we got to do something
11:51
Speaker 6: to at least start connecting families so they're not so isolated,
11:55
Speaker 6: so they can figure out how do you navigate this
11:57
Speaker 6: what can be a really challenging situation.
12:00
Speaker 2: Wow, I know that you're very passionate about that.
12:02
Speaker 4: I've interviewed several I've interviewed you several times over the
12:06
Speaker 4: years about this sort of thing.
12:07
Speaker 1: Uh.
12:08
Speaker 4: I don't know though that in the time of knowing
12:10
Speaker 4: you that I knew that whole story, because I don't
12:12
Speaker 4: think you had told me told the list origins, but
12:14
Speaker 4: that the origin story of the whole thing. Are we
12:16
Speaker 4: making any advances in this? I mean I don't know
12:19
Speaker 4: what advances are yeah, but are we I mean, obviously
12:23
Speaker 4: with the passage of time we get better at things
12:25
Speaker 4: with research and so on and so forth.
12:27
Speaker 2: Where are we now in twenty twenty six?
12:28
Speaker 6: There's right with everything, there's pros and cons and ups
12:31
Speaker 6: and downs, and you know, two steps towards, you know,
12:33
Speaker 6: two steps forward, ten steps back. So depend on which
12:37
Speaker 6: lens we look at, right, So if we look at
12:39
Speaker 6: it from a you know, an awareness lens, well, autism
12:42
Speaker 6: has certainly been in the news the last couple of years,
12:45
Speaker 6: right and taking a look at it. So in terms
12:48
Speaker 6: of you know, how many folks that it impacts, that's
12:50
Speaker 6: a positive of knowing it's.
12:51
Speaker 5: One in thirty you know, one in thirty one.
12:53
Speaker 6: You know kids on the spectrum, and so pretty much
12:56
Speaker 6: everybody now knows somebody personally that is on the spectrum.
13:00
Speaker 6: So that's progress compared to you know, but in the
13:02
Speaker 6: field twenty eight years of used to be like you
13:04
Speaker 6: didn't know it all. So we're we're aware that autism
13:08
Speaker 6: is a thing, and now the conversations around autism are
13:12
Speaker 6: quite interesting. So that's a pro anacon where we are
13:17
Speaker 6: from diagnosism in terms of making progress is there's some
13:20
Speaker 6: really cool research coming out now that use a tool
13:23
Speaker 6: to track I gays for babies that you literally can like,
13:26
Speaker 6: you know, put a video up that's a specific type
13:29
Speaker 6: of video, and then there's I gaze equipment that we'll
13:33
Speaker 6: watch and see, you know, where the child looks. And
13:36
Speaker 6: for typically developing children, they're typically looking at the people
13:40
Speaker 6: in the video and their faces and the social interactions.
13:44
Speaker 6: Folks that are kids that later on end up with
13:46
Speaker 6: an autism diagnosis, they're not looking at the people, they're
13:49
Speaker 6: looking at the things and the backgrounds and the details.
13:53
Speaker 6: And so sometimes now you can get a diagnosis like
13:57
Speaker 6: under twelve months. So that's really great, you know progress.
14:00
Speaker 6: That equipment isn't available in West Virginia, and I reached
14:03
Speaker 6: out some friends at Martial Health Network and was like, hey,
14:06
Speaker 6: can we get this equipment, And so we're having some
14:07
Speaker 6: conversations about that. So that's good that we're able to
14:10
Speaker 6: get earlier intervene or earlier diagnosis. Then the next step
14:14
Speaker 6: in the process is great, I have a diagnosis. Now
14:17
Speaker 6: what do I do and how do I access the
14:19
Speaker 6: services that can really help?
14:21
Speaker 5: And that's where we're really making snail pace progress in
14:25
Speaker 5: West Virginia.
14:26
Speaker 6: And that's why too like the work that we do
14:29
Speaker 6: in coordination with other our state level nonprofit Mountaineer Autism Project,
14:33
Speaker 6: but we have a coordinated effort.
14:35
Speaker 5: Right now.
14:35
Speaker 6: We have an awareness campaign that's just talking about applied
14:38
Speaker 6: behavior analysis and there'll be billboards going up of just
14:41
Speaker 6: because when you go to why can't we get access
14:43
Speaker 6: to services? At this point there are funding streams available
14:46
Speaker 6: which we had to work on, and now it's about
14:49
Speaker 6: well where the people that are trained to do it
14:51
Speaker 6: and trained to do it well, which is a whole
14:53
Speaker 6: different conversation is trying to do it well? I put
14:55
Speaker 6: it akin to, we know we have a nursing shortage.
14:58
Speaker 6: We know we have you know, we more social workers,
15:00
Speaker 6: we need more of all the helping professions right in
15:03
Speaker 6: West Virginia.
15:03
Speaker 5: It's you know, bottom of the list, you know, for
15:06
Speaker 5: like not enough of everything.
15:07
Speaker 6: And so for behavior analysts, we say, well, if how
15:12
Speaker 6: much of a nursing shortage would we have if nobody
15:15
Speaker 6: knew you could be a nurse and there was no
15:18
Speaker 6: system in the state that trained nurses. That's what we're
15:21
Speaker 6: dealing with behavior analysis is nobody's heard of it, like
15:23
Speaker 6: what is this thing?
15:25
Speaker 5: And recently too.
15:26
Speaker 6: Because what's happened for the behavior analysis industry is that
15:31
Speaker 6: state by state, parents led legislative efforts to say insurance
15:37
Speaker 6: must cover autism and provide medically necessary, you know, treatment
15:41
Speaker 6: for autism. And so that happened in each state only
15:44
Speaker 6: within the last let's see twenty twenty was the celebration
15:48
Speaker 6: of all fifty states past some insurance legislation. Because prior
15:52
Speaker 6: to that, if you had a kid with autism, they say,
15:54
Speaker 6: good luck, we don't pay for anything, so have fun
15:57
Speaker 6: with that family, go to school.
15:58
Speaker 5: They're supposed to provide everything.
16:00
Speaker 6: We had to pass that legislation, which then created supply
16:03
Speaker 6: and demand issue now is a refunding stream and high
16:05
Speaker 6: demand for a service, specifically behavior analysis, because that's most
16:08
Speaker 6: evidence base. But then there's no workforce training behind it.
16:11
Speaker 6: But it created a great business opportunity. So then what
16:14
Speaker 6: happens is private investors, private equity then bought up mom
16:18
Speaker 6: and pop shops throughout the country recognizing the tremendous business
16:22
Speaker 6: opportunity and so also in the news this year has
16:26
Speaker 6: been a lot of bad press about ABA and waste,
16:29
Speaker 6: fraud and abuse and some really crazy stories because the
16:33
Speaker 6: multiple things are true at the same time.
16:35
Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, appreciate the background, give us all the details.

20:00
Speaker 4: Rom'm going to join us a little bit later on
20:01
Speaker 4: the show to talk about it. Data centers are all
20:04
Speaker 4: the talk, not only here but all around the country
20:06
Speaker 4: as well.
20:07
Speaker 2: Know as you know, there's a big one being planned.
20:08
Speaker 4: For Buffalo in Putnham County, a Google data center, and
20:12
Speaker 4: as we always like to do, we try to present
20:14
Speaker 4: both sides of the story because it can be a
20:16
Speaker 4: polarizing issue representing one of the groups I guess data centers,
20:19
Speaker 4: particularly this one in Buffalo. Is Michael Masteller from the
20:22
Speaker 4: group Putnam United, and he joins us this morning here
20:24
Speaker 4: in the Jerry Construction Studios.
20:25
Speaker 2: Good morning, sir, welcome to the show.
20:27
Speaker 9: Thanks for having me.
20:28
Speaker 1: TJ.
20:28
Speaker 2: Good morning, I'm Dave.
20:30
Speaker 9: Sure, good morning.
20:32
Speaker 2: What's funny is you mentioned?
20:34
Speaker 1: Teacher?
20:35
Speaker 8: Hey?
20:35
Speaker 4: What's funny is is that I because we have too
20:37
Speaker 4: many Daves in this company. We have Wilson, we have
20:41
Speaker 4: Will can stop right there with Wilson, that's one too many.
20:44
Speaker 4: We have weekly, we have Dave Jecklin. And don't feel
20:47
Speaker 4: bad because a couple of months ago, thirty eight years
20:50
Speaker 4: of radio, I referred to myself as Dave Wilson, so
20:54
Speaker 4: because I was reading something that they had coming up
20:56
Speaker 4: and I said.
20:56
Speaker 2: Well, I'm Dave Wilton. No, I'm Dave Allen.
20:58
Speaker 4: But anyway, it's perfectly perfectly. There's worse people to be
21:02
Speaker 4: compared to than TJ. Mattters, right, I mean I could
21:04
Speaker 4: be compared to Dave Wilson, for example. So so I'll
21:07
Speaker 4: take Michael Masteller is here, welcome to the show what
21:11
Speaker 4: is and we'll get specific what's your major objective? Not
21:15
Speaker 4: just you, but others that are against his data center?
21:16
Speaker 4: What's your major objection to lil thing.
21:18
Speaker 9: I've talked to a lot of people across the state
21:21
Speaker 9: where I mean every town is getting a data center.
21:24
Speaker 9: That's one thing that worries us. The main thing that
21:26
Speaker 9: worries about us is the secrecy surrounding it. I mean
21:29
Speaker 9: House Bill twenty fourteen. We're not allowed to answer questions
21:33
Speaker 9: local levels, like at the county level. The local level,
21:36
Speaker 9: they're not allowed to enforce any ordinances. They're not allowed
21:39
Speaker 9: to enforce their own laws against it. A lot of
21:43
Speaker 9: lawmakers have signed non disclosure agreements and in other places
21:46
Speaker 9: where they have gone in like this, A lot of
21:49
Speaker 9: the paperwork that has been signed where people are, you know,
21:52
Speaker 9: signing party to the data center, even the signatures are redacted.
21:58
Speaker 9: So what's with all the secrecy? Why why do they
22:00
Speaker 9: feel they need to hide all these things from us.
22:03
Speaker 4: I don't know whether you're aware that's or not, because
22:06
Speaker 4: this just happened in the last hour, and I want
22:07
Speaker 4: to surprise you with this, but I don't want to.
22:09
Speaker 4: But I didn't want to let you know that the
22:11
Speaker 4: folks behind the data center and also had a conversation
22:14
Speaker 4: with the Putnam kind of development authority. They released some information. Again,
22:17
Speaker 4: this just happened in the last hour, so I didn't
22:19
Speaker 4: want to blindside you with that, but there is some
22:21
Speaker 4: information out there available now. I think the folks that
22:24
Speaker 4: not the development authority, but the people that are putting
22:27
Speaker 4: this data center in have have put out statements. Now
22:31
Speaker 4: they've got links to their website and the Army Corps
22:33
Speaker 4: of Engineers and that and all that sort of thing.
22:35
Speaker 4: And Chris Lawrence is actually working on a story. We'll
22:37
Speaker 4: have it posted at WV mentor new's not common. I
22:40
Speaker 4: don't want to ask you about it because you probably
22:41
Speaker 4: haven't had a chance to see it, but because because
22:44
Speaker 4: it just came out, but I wanted to, you know,
22:46
Speaker 4: make you aware that, not that it not to downplay
22:48
Speaker 4: anything you're concerned about. I'm just letting there is more
22:50
Speaker 4: information coming out of there. So so you said that
22:53
Speaker 4: up till now that there's just not enough transparency, right,
22:57
Speaker 4: That's just one of the issues.
22:59
Speaker 9: Okay, what are some more Some of the other ones are.
23:01
Speaker 9: So I've done a deep dive into data centers and
23:04
Speaker 9: why there's so many of them, because if you look,
23:07
Speaker 9: I mean there's multiple data centers per state, and each
23:11
Speaker 9: data center on average runs anywhere from two to eight gigawatts.
23:16
Speaker 9: What John Amos power Plant alone puts out is just
23:19
Speaker 9: at peak peak power is three. So they're going to
23:23
Speaker 9: have to be generating their own electricity. And you hear
23:26
Speaker 9: some of them talking about using nuclear power. If it
23:29
Speaker 9: were you know, a regulated utility that wanted to put
23:33
Speaker 9: a nuclear reactor in West Virginia, I would be perfectly
23:36
Speaker 9: okay with that. But you want to put in a
23:39
Speaker 9: private company and the only thing that they worship is
23:43
Speaker 9: the bottom dollar. You can bet they're going to cut corners,
23:46
Speaker 9: and I wouldn't trust them to put a nuclear reactor
23:49
Speaker 9: anywhere in this country. So it Yeah, if we had
23:52
Speaker 9: state regulation and it was regulated as an actual utility,
23:57
Speaker 9: I would be fine with that.
23:59
Speaker 4: Do you think that maybe, and I don't want to
24:01
Speaker 4: put words in your mouth, but do you think that
24:03
Speaker 4: maybe some of the legislators that supported that particular bill
24:08
Speaker 4: that you mentioned, maybe because it happens a lot of
24:10
Speaker 4: times you're in a legislature, you know, you get a
24:12
Speaker 4: lot of bills done at you, that maybe they just
24:15
Speaker 4: saw this as this is an opportunity for jobs, this
24:18
Speaker 4: is an opportunity for whatever, and maybe didn't do a
24:20
Speaker 4: deep enough dive into it.
24:22
Speaker 2: Do you think that's possible.
24:23
Speaker 9: I think that's what happened because we had some of
24:24
Speaker 9: our members of our group go down to the Capitol
24:26
Speaker 9: in one of the days where the companies that are
24:29
Speaker 9: building the data center they showed up and they had this,
24:32
Speaker 9: you know, this big show that they put on and
24:35
Speaker 9: of course they're putting out the company propaganda. And our
24:38
Speaker 9: legislators that were there, they didn't ask questions, they didn't
24:41
Speaker 9: ask follow ups. They they took them at their work
24:45
Speaker 9: and they believed every single bit of it. And some
24:48
Speaker 9: of the things they were legislating seems like the bills
24:51
Speaker 9: were pretty much already written up and they just didn't
24:54
Speaker 9: know what they were pushing.
24:56
Speaker 4: What I mean, one of the things we hear about
24:58
Speaker 4: about data centers again we're talking to Michael monstell Or.
25:01
Speaker 4: One of the things we hear by data centers is
25:03
Speaker 4: that the economic impact of it. I actually interviewed someone
25:07
Speaker 4: not long ago from the education field that was talking
25:09
Speaker 4: about that and talking about the economic impact that could
25:13
Speaker 4: be for the students of a particular school to try
25:15
Speaker 4: to get them. And Lord knows, we all need to
25:17
Speaker 4: try to get people to stay in West Virginia.
25:19
Speaker 2: You know that as well as anybody does. How do
25:21
Speaker 2: you counter the ECO because they have said, you know,
25:25
Speaker 2: whether it's here, wherever, it's going to bring contracting jobs,
25:28
Speaker 2: it's going to bring all this up. What's your response
25:30
Speaker 2: to them?
25:31
Speaker 9: So in this deep dive, a lot of the data
25:33
Speaker 9: centers that have already been built. They use a lot
25:35
Speaker 9: of the same people to build these data centers, so
25:38
Speaker 9: every time they move on to a new campus, they
25:41
Speaker 9: just bring the people who are experienced.
25:42
Speaker 2: People that are specializing in that field.
25:45
Speaker 9: Okay, and then so once the construction jobs are gone,
25:48
Speaker 9: even the Colossus data center, a lot of the big
25:51
Speaker 9: data centers that are bigger than the ones that are
25:53
Speaker 9: going to in West Virginia, they end up with maybe
25:55
Speaker 9: twenty employees or fewer. So I don't know where they're
26:00
Speaker 9: getting this number that there's going to be hundreds of jobs.
26:03
Speaker 9: Our own governor on TV couldn't even guarantee that any
26:06
Speaker 9: percent of these jobs we're going to go to West
26:08
Speaker 9: Virginians once the you know, the permanent jobs, and so
26:12
Speaker 9: the economic benefit is going to be far outweighed by
26:17
Speaker 9: the electricity usage that they're going to use. Is going
26:20
Speaker 9: to drive our utility costs up. That's already happened in Virginia.
26:24
Speaker 9: Dominion Energy they released a report where in data center
26:28
Speaker 9: alley per data center, about fourteen to thirty dollars per
26:32
Speaker 9: month per data center is about how much these person's
26:34
Speaker 9: building up. And so yeah, they're they're getting deals cut
26:38
Speaker 9: on their rates when you know when they use electricity
26:42
Speaker 9: and then that gets passed on to us.
26:44
Speaker 4: Talking to Michael Mosteller again, it is twenty six minutes
26:46
Speaker 4: away from ten to Dave Island showing five India Line
26:49
Speaker 4: Brighteteed parted by a Husband's Pizza This month get a
26:51

Speaker 4: twenty three bucks behind your nearest Hustins for dining delivery
26:57
Speaker 4: pickup a husbands Pizza dot com. Now I keep throwing
26:59
Speaker 4: out the Devil's advocate things for you because I.
27:01
Speaker 8: Know that you're equipped for it. What would you say
27:04
Speaker 8: to those who say, look, we're all guilty. Present company
27:07
Speaker 8: included and one of the things we've heard as well,
27:10
Speaker 8: if you don't, you don't, if you don't like this
27:12
Speaker 8: sort of thing that, don't use Google, don't use your iPhone,
27:15
Speaker 8: don't use chat, GPT, don't use any of these things.
27:18
Speaker 2: That you would say?
27:18
Speaker 9: What I would say that there's two different types of data. Okay,
27:21
Speaker 9: there's the storage type, which is what most of what
27:24
Speaker 9: we use uses is the storage type of data center.
27:27
Speaker 9: And that's a passive type of data center. They just
27:30
Speaker 9: store information. They don't need all this energy for processing.
27:34
Speaker 9: What's going in in mass are these computing data centers
27:39
Speaker 9: where they take video card after a video card, after
27:42
Speaker 9: a video card, because they they compute quicker and they
27:45
Speaker 9: compute more information, and they just stack them in banks
27:49
Speaker 9: upon on top of each other. And so those are
27:53
Speaker 9: the computing data centers, and they they're the ones that
27:57
Speaker 9: use all this extra energy rather than a orage data center.
28:01
Speaker 9: So yeah, there are two entirely different types of data centers.
28:04
Speaker 4: What I know, and you're a Putnam County guy, and
28:07
Speaker 4: I know that we've I've actually interviewed on this show
28:10
Speaker 4: and on Midday and on talk Line at other shows
28:12
Speaker 4: folks that are neighbors in the area of Buffalo where
28:15
Speaker 4: this thing is proposed to go in. If you had
28:17
Speaker 4: any conversations with them, and what are their concerns?
28:19
Speaker 9: Oh yeah, yeah, they I know quite a few people
28:22
Speaker 9: who live right up against the property where it's going in.
28:25
Speaker 9: And one thing that's happened and all the information I'm
28:28
Speaker 9: giving you, it's already happened at other data centers across
28:31
Speaker 9: the United States where they've gone in, and it's the
28:33
Speaker 9: AI data centers. But these people are worried that their
28:37
Speaker 9: property values are going down. One already. Has they tried
28:40
Speaker 9: to sell their property. It was worth about two hundred
28:42
Speaker 9: thousand dollars. They're down to eighty thousand. They can't sell,
28:46
Speaker 9: and so they're worried about the sound levels, the audible sound.
28:50
Speaker 9: They're worried about the infrasound levels, which is below our
28:54
Speaker 9: level of hearing. But the amplitude is as if you
28:57
Speaker 9: were standing next to a jet a jet airplane that
29:00
Speaker 9: was getting ready to take off, and it has physiological
29:03
Speaker 9: effects on the body. It causes stress, anxiety, heart disease,
29:07
Speaker 9: and I mean there's there's many other.
29:10
Speaker 2: Sympols that that's not the CDC. Okay, okay, I was
29:14
Speaker 2: gonna say it causedant thing.
29:15
Speaker 9: Yeah, pro CDC.
29:16
Speaker 2: So what is next, Michael? And in this discussion, what's next?
29:20
Speaker 9: So we are if we can't just completely, you know,
29:25
Speaker 9: eliminate the data centers or some of them that are
29:27
Speaker 9: wanting to come to town, we want them to be
29:29
Speaker 9: good neighbors. So we would like to see them put
29:32
Speaker 9: in soundproofing. We want to see them put in things
29:37
Speaker 9: that will dampen the vibrations on the infrasound because that
29:40
Speaker 9: travels past any type of soundproofing you try to put in.
29:45
Speaker 9: We want to see less energy usage and if they
29:49
Speaker 9: create their own energy. I heard another state talking about this,
29:53
Speaker 9: I think it was in Oklahoma, where say they have
29:55
Speaker 9: a tornado, they're going to use their their power generation
30:00
Speaker 9: to feedback into the community until they can get their
30:02
Speaker 9: power generation back online. So we want them to be
30:04
Speaker 9: good neighbors if they're going to be here, But we
30:07
Speaker 9: have seen zero evidence of that in the places they've
30:10
Speaker 9: already gone in.
30:11
Speaker 4: Well, and I know there's been public meetings and people
30:13
Speaker 4: spoken to the Putnam County Commission and another county is
30:16
Speaker 4: around the state, I mean, and I know the Commission
30:19
Speaker 4: has in their open policy, you know, open for whatever
30:23
Speaker 4: public comment period.
30:24
Speaker 2: I guess has allowed that.
30:26
Speaker 4: Are there any other discussions about this plan as far
30:28
Speaker 4: as you know.
30:30
Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, we have a group of you mentioned it earlier,
30:32
Speaker 9: Putnam United. So we're going to meet. We meet every
30:35
Speaker 9: other Thursday. We're going to be meeting this Thursday. This
30:38
Speaker 9: is going to be at the Mount Union Church on
30:41
Speaker 9: Plantation Road at six thirty pm. Anybody who wants to
30:44
Speaker 9: come and maybe sit in and listen. Anybody who wants
30:47
Speaker 9: to come and participate, Anyone who wants to join the group,
30:50
Speaker 9: you're more than welcome to we'd be glad to have you.
30:54
Speaker 4: We had a text here, Michael, if you don't mind,
30:56
Speaker 4: somebody wanted to know. Let me see if I can
30:59
Speaker 4: find it here. What information is collected by data centers.
31:02
Speaker 9: Pretty much everything. I mean, you have made a data
31:05
Speaker 9: that when you go and browse websites on your phone.
31:09
Speaker 9: And this is on the storage side. Okay, so on
31:11
Speaker 9: the storage side, everything that you browse. You know, you've
31:14
Speaker 9: heard stories of people say, hey, you know, I think
31:17
Speaker 9: I need to get a new litter box, and next
31:18
Speaker 9: thing you know, there's litter box ads on there. We're
31:22
Speaker 9: the product. We are the product. So they're collecting as
31:25
Speaker 9: much information on us as they possibly can so that
31:28
Speaker 9: they can either sell the data or so that they
31:31
Speaker 9: can market things to us. Now that's on the storage side.
31:35
Speaker 9: On the computing side, they are wanting to put out
31:39
Speaker 9: generative AI chatbots. They're wanting to a stated goal is
31:44
Speaker 9: to replace the work as much of the workforce as
31:48
Speaker 9: they can and automate it. And so that you know,
31:51
Speaker 9: there's there's no demand for what they've already built, Like,
31:55
Speaker 9: the demand isn't there. And what has happened is throughout
32:00
Speaker 9: the two thousands and the twenty tens. You know, they
32:03
Speaker 9: wowed the investors that kept the investor cash coming and
32:06
Speaker 9: so the cash was free. And then you know, mid
32:09
Speaker 9: twenty tens, the investors they started or the products started
32:13
Speaker 9: getting stale, so the investors said, look, you've got to
32:15
Speaker 9: give something new, and that's when they started pushing AI.
32:18
Speaker 9: And it wasn't ready yet, but they packed it into
32:22
Speaker 9: every aspect of their products that they could. They fired
32:24
Speaker 9: AI ethicists who said it's not ready. They said, they
32:28
Speaker 9: just jammed it into everything they possibly could. Adam Conover
32:31
Speaker 9: does a really good video exposing AI. It'll never be sentient.
32:35
Speaker 9: It doesn't even know we're here. All it does is
32:37
Speaker 9: predict what word is most likely to come next, and
32:40
Speaker 9: it uses every information on the internet as training data.
32:44
Speaker 9: So it will take information from the Mayo Clinic and
32:47
Speaker 9: it'll also take some post from some idiot on Reddit
32:51
Speaker 9: and it'll give it equal weight and in predicting, and
32:54
Speaker 9: a lot of times it's wrong. AI is wrong. So
32:57
Speaker 9: if you go to Google or something and you start something,
33:01
Speaker 9: look at the AI results and then go and actually
33:03
Speaker 9: look at the websites below it, and you'll see just
33:06
Speaker 9: how wrong it can often be all.
33:07
Speaker 2: Right, do you have information about your particular group?
33:09
Speaker 4: I know you're with Putnam United, is or like your
33:11
Speaker 4: website social media anything like them?
33:13
Speaker 9: Yes, the website I believe is Putnam United dot Com.
33:18
Speaker 9: We're still pretty new with getting that out. I got you,
33:21
Speaker 9: but the best, the best way to get to know
33:24
Speaker 9: us is to just join us and at that next
33:27
Speaker 9: meeting at the Mountain Union Church on Plantation Road.
33:31
Speaker 4: All right, Michael Masteller, I appreciate you being here. All right,

Speaker 12: During the inspection of our old unit. Their technician discovered
35:07
Speaker 12: a crack in the heat exchanger that was slowly leaking
35:09

Speaker 2: We are back seventeen away from ten.
36:07
Speaker 4: The state's biggest online auction is going on this week
36:09
Speaker 4: wv Bargains dot Com at one hundreds of items. I
36:12
Speaker 4: mean as much as fifty percent off and more. It's

36:16
Speaker 4: Text said to someone who has had their simcard hacked
36:19
Speaker 4: on their phone and their cards skimmed at a gas pump,
36:21
Speaker 4: I do not want cash lists or a digitized society.
36:25
Speaker 4: Well that happen with these data centers. Text says, data
36:28
Speaker 4: centers are the expansion of the surveillance state. Tomorrow, we
36:32
Speaker 4: are going to collect some snacks here as we team
36:35
Speaker 4: of the Union Mission of the Charleston Dirty Birds present
36:37
Speaker 4: the annual Dropper Snacks of It on our parking lot
36:39
Speaker 4: eleven eleven Virginius three D's and Charleston seven Angel, six PA,
36:43
Speaker 4: six pm. The event is the brainchild of Rob Reel,
36:47
Speaker 4: the Manchild, the brainchild.
36:48
Speaker 8: Of doesn't one need a brain in order to hatch
36:51
Speaker 8: a brainchild?
36:52
Speaker 4: The manchild Rob Reel of our sister stations, Superstar Country
36:54
Speaker 4: ninety six one KWSNY joins us. Now, welcome to the show,
36:57
Speaker 4: my friend, Good morning.
36:58
Speaker 8: The award winning Drop your Snacks, that's right, that's honored
37:02
Speaker 8: by the West Virginia Broadcasters Association. I keep saying that
37:05
Speaker 8: the Community Impact Award, that's the one that means the most.
37:10
Speaker 8: That's the important one. And we've been honored two years
37:13
Speaker 8: in a row for helping our friends and neighbors with
37:15
Speaker 8: things like Drop your Snacks, presented by the Charleston Dirty Birds,
37:18
Speaker 8: also built by Aston Construction. If you are familiar with
37:22
Speaker 8: our drop events, the details are the same. They are
37:25
Speaker 8: very simple. We always try to do these on a Thursday.
37:27
Speaker 8: We always do these here at our lot eleven eleven
37:31
Speaker 8: Virginia Street East. If you're coming from the freeway, get
37:33
Speaker 8: off at Leon Sullivan. It'll take you right to us.
37:36
Speaker 8: We always do seven in the morning until six in
37:38
Speaker 8: the evening. We always team up with Union Mission. We
37:40
Speaker 8: make those things the same because we all have so
37:44
Speaker 8: much mental traffic. We have so many things we're trying
37:47
Speaker 8: to do and trying to remember that if now that
37:50
Speaker 8: we've got this beaten into people, now, all we have
37:53
Speaker 8: to say is what we need this time around, and
37:56
Speaker 8: this time around we need non perishable food for kids
38:01
Speaker 8: in need, hungry West Virginia kids this summer.
38:03
Speaker 4: Let me be eve an example of some of the
38:05
Speaker 4: things here. You can add to it if you want.
38:07
Speaker 4: We're talking about granola bars, protein bars, individually wrapped crackers, goldfish, crackers, pretzels, popcorn,
38:15
Speaker 4: fruit snacks, apple sauce, raisins, and dried fruit, breakfasted items, beef, jerky,
38:22
Speaker 4: mixed nuts, just to name a few. Nonperishable type stuff. Yeah,
38:26
Speaker 4: that doesn't have to I mean it's simple stuff. Stuff
38:29
Speaker 4: that can be stuffed into a backpack or can be
38:31
Speaker 4: stuffed into a bag and whatever. It doesn't have to
38:33
Speaker 4: be refrigerated immediately refrigerated after opening or things of that name.
38:36
Speaker 8: Shelf Stable is really important. And because it's summer and
38:40
Speaker 8: because this stuff is going to get turned around more
38:43
Speaker 8: quickly maybe than you might think. You can even include
38:46
Speaker 8: things like prepackaged doughnuts because those are going to be
38:49
Speaker 8: shelf stable for a while. You can see the best
38:52
Speaker 8: buy dates on those. One of the things I'm going
38:55
Speaker 8: to do today is make a run to my favorite
38:58
Speaker 8: box store. And I'm a little low on groceries at
39:03
Speaker 8: the real estate myself. So for everything I'm getting for myself,
39:06
Speaker 8: I'm getting one more and I'm just getting a whole
39:09
Speaker 8: bunch of other things on the list. The Recovering Missus
39:12
Speaker 8: Reel as I kindly call max wife is a junior
39:16
Speaker 8: high teacher and so she keeps me informed of what
39:20
Speaker 8: the kids are really into. I know that the hot chips,
39:24
Speaker 8: things like takis and the flaming hot Cheetos and those
39:26
Speaker 8: sorts of things are really popular with the kids. We
39:29
Speaker 8: want to get stuff that they're gonna eat, because well
39:32
Speaker 8: they need to. But you don't want that four year
39:36
Speaker 8: old can of veg all that is not gonna work.
39:39
Speaker 8: Save that for radio people, We'll take anything it's free.
39:45
Speaker 2: So school is out.
39:46
Speaker 4: I know it is in Kanaw County last week in
39:48
Speaker 4: Putnam County. I think it comes to this week. If
39:50
Speaker 4: it's not out where you're listening to us, it will
39:52
Speaker 4: be out soon. And the bottom line is is and
39:54
Speaker 4: there are lots of great groups out there that try
39:56
Speaker 4: to help. But the bottom line is a lot of
39:58
Speaker 4: these kids rob when that's final. School bell sounds at
40:01
Speaker 4: three o'clock on a Friday on the final day, and
40:04
Speaker 4: they don't They don't get back in session until middle
40:07
Speaker 4: to the end of August.
40:08
Speaker 2: A lot of them don't have access to food.
40:12
Speaker 8: Two thirds of West Virginia kids are doing free or
40:14
Speaker 8: reduced cost meals at school, and many of those kids,
40:19
Speaker 8: many of them, when school was letting out on Friday,
40:23
Speaker 8: had remarkably little to eat until breakfast service again come Monday.
40:29
Speaker 8: Now that school's going to be out for several weeks,
40:31
Speaker 8: that gap has to be filled. And yes, there are
40:35
Speaker 8: economic and policy issues, and if you want to be
40:39
Speaker 8: mad about that, I encourage you to do so. After
40:41
Speaker 8: you loop through our parking lot, go another mile from
40:44
Speaker 8: us down Virginia Street to that sparkly, glittery golden dome,
40:47
Speaker 8: shake your fist and shout on mad as hell, and
40:49
Speaker 8: I'm not going to take it anymore. There are people
40:51
Speaker 8: who can make those changes. We are just trying to
40:55
Speaker 8: feed kids. That's all we're trying to do. We're not
40:58
Speaker 8: making some sort of statement. We're not on one side
41:01
Speaker 8: or the other. In fact, if you go through this
41:03
Speaker 8: building and you run a pole, I think you will
41:04
Speaker 8: find just about every political stripe, including some non political
41:08
Speaker 8: stripes in the building. And that's okay too, And that's yes, yes,
41:11
Speaker 8: that's that's that's part of our freedom for which I served.
41:15
Speaker 8: But I am pound the table. Let's feed kids because
41:20
Speaker 8: kids have no control over whether or not they're poor
41:23
Speaker 8: and food insecure.
41:24
Speaker 4: And again, this event is going to be tomorrow, seven
41:26
Speaker 4: am till six pm on our parking lot eleven eleven
41:29
Speaker 4: for Genius Red's here in Charleston. All of our stations
41:31
Speaker 4: will be out there and well, this is one of
41:33
Speaker 4: those all hands on deck. So you're going to see
41:35
Speaker 4: Rob Reel, You're gonna see Steve Animal, You're gonna see
41:37
Speaker 4: Shockley myself, Dale Cooper, you know the people that Stephen,
41:42
Speaker 4: Jenny Woodie, people that you know from the air. But
41:45
Speaker 4: it's also going to be our sales weasel of people.
41:48
Speaker 4: It's also going to be folks from the engineering department.
41:50
Speaker 4: It's going to be folks from the office and things
41:52
Speaker 4: of that nature, people that you may not necessarily know,
41:54
Speaker 4: because that's how much we all believe in this project.
41:57
Speaker 8: You know, we we're not just mouthing it when we
41:58
Speaker 8: say w VRC ME cares about our community and we're
42:01
Speaker 8: proud to live here too. I've worked for so many
42:04
Speaker 8: other companies in so many other places, and we really
42:08
Speaker 8: mean it when we talk about helping our friends and neighbors.
42:11
Speaker 8: It's easy to put up a website or to you know,
42:14
Speaker 8: to mention a phone number or you know, especially if
42:18
Speaker 8: you're doing your radio show from places like Atlanta or
42:21
Speaker 8: Los Angeles or San Antonio. We are all here in Charleston,
42:27
Speaker 8: in West Virginia, rolling up our sleeves doing the work
42:30
Speaker 8: because West Virginians take care of West Virginia.
42:32
Speaker 4: A big shout out to Union Mission. Jason and the
42:34
Speaker 4: folks will be here with us tomorrow and you can
42:36
Speaker 4: go to their website.
42:37
Speaker 8: We feed people dot com and there is a drop
42:41
Speaker 8: down you can earmark wherever you want your safe, secure
42:45
Speaker 8: credit or debit card donation to go. Drop your snacks
42:48
Speaker 8: will be one of those choices. So even if you
42:51
Speaker 8: can't make it tomorrow, Oh I'm not gonna be able
42:53
Speaker 8: to get away, go on over to we feed people
42:55
Speaker 8: dot com and a little click at a click, and
42:58
Speaker 8: you can drop your snack virtually.
43:01
Speaker 4: And you can drop off items anytime between seven am
43:04
Speaker 4: and six pm. You don't even have to get it
43:06
Speaker 4: out of your car. It's a cool thing about it.
43:08
Speaker 4: Pull onto our parking lot. We will have people out
43:10
Speaker 4: there at least at any given time, there's at least
43:12
Speaker 4: three to four sometimes more people out there. And it's
43:15
Speaker 4: going to be a beautiful day to Mars. It's gonna
43:16
Speaker 4: be a little bit warm, but it beats being in
43:18
Speaker 4: rain and thunderstorms. So we'll all be out there. I'll
43:21
Speaker 4: be out there at various points throughout the day, but
43:23
Speaker 4: others will be out there pretty much all day collecting
43:26
Speaker 4: these items. And look, folks, it doesn't matter if you
43:29
Speaker 4: bring us two or three bags of pretzels, or you
43:32
Speaker 4: go do as Rob said, your local giant box store
43:35
Speaker 4: and you bring back.
43:36
Speaker 8: A truckload of pretzels. It was named my band in college,
43:39
Speaker 8: by the way, truckload of press. Rus load of press.
43:41
Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll take it. I mean, it doesn't matter how
43:45
Speaker 4: big how small we're there for. Every drop in the
43:48
Speaker 4: bucket starts to add up. And as I've told the
43:52
Speaker 4: upreal early birds, if you're not hearing my voice on
43:54
Speaker 4: the radio at that given moment, I will be out
43:57
Speaker 4: on the parking lot.
43:58
Speaker 8: I'm the guy who starts with this.
44:00
Speaker 2: That up.
44:01
Speaker 8: I'm the first one out there. I'm the last one
44:03
Speaker 8: off the parking lot. It's kind of a tradition now
44:05
Speaker 8: with our drop events that I do a video as
44:07
Speaker 8: the last one on the parking lot. This is obviously
44:11
Speaker 8: something that's very important to me, but it touches every
44:14
Speaker 8: single West Virginian. So we want to see you tomorrow.
44:19
Speaker 8: Don't have to get out of that nice, comfortable, air
44:21
Speaker 8: conditioned vehicle.
44:22
Speaker 2: We do all the work.
44:23
Speaker 4: Jason Quintreil from Union Mission is going to join us,
44:25
Speaker 4: I think on the show tomorrow. You guys, we'll start
44:28
Speaker 4: this show tomorrow by checking in with you in the
44:29
Speaker 4: parking lot, or maybe have a come in and rest a.
44:33
Speaker 8: Little bit air conditioning.
44:34
Speaker 4: Yeah, well, it may not be bad at nine o'clock
44:36
Speaker 4: in the morning. It might be at four o'clock in
44:38
Speaker 4: the afternoon. So it's a great opportunity for you to
44:42
Speaker 4: come by and hang out with us a little bit
44:44
Speaker 4: and we might have some swag out there or something.
44:47
Speaker 2: From time to time we've been known to do that.
44:48
Speaker 8: We've been known to sneak some stuff out there, a
44:51
Speaker 8: little extra something in the envelope to make it worth
44:54
Speaker 8: your while.
44:55
Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, seven al six to PN tomorrow and
44:57
Speaker 4: our parking not eleven eleven Virginia Street East and Charles
44:59
Speaker 4: to bring your stuff. Rob Reel up reel early, Superstar
45:03
Speaker 4: Country ninety six to one KWS. Appreciate you being here.
45:05
Speaker 4: We'll see you tomorrow.
45:06
Speaker 1: Man.
45:06
Speaker 8: Thank you sir.
45:07
Speaker 4: It is nine and fifty three. I want to pass
45:09
Speaker 4: along a traffic note to you. I sixty four is
45:13
Speaker 4: backed up eastbound from fifty eight, a exit which is
45:16
Speaker 4: the Virginia treat accent all the way back to Dunbar.
45:18
Speaker 4: I understand that would make sense why I haven't seen TJ.
45:21
Speaker 4: Meadows in the building today. Maybe that's why. So hey,
45:25
Speaker 4: maybe I'll finally get my wish and I.
45:27
Speaker 2: Will get to be on talk line with Dave Wilson.
45:29
Speaker 2: All right, So, TJ.
45:31
