- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: You know, the Bible says this is the day that He has made, and we shall rejoice and be glad in it.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: And the Bible also says His mercies are new every morning.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: We know not of them.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: And it's a beautiful day that Jesus has given us.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: And I want to get straight into the Word of God today.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: And I want to tell you that I want to throw some words at you this morning which will which will resound with you.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: It will have a meaning with you.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: You will understand these words and you will relate to them.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Because these are words that are associated with feelings or emotions on this planet.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I said you'll relate to it is at some point of time all of us would have experienced these feelings.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: Some of you are young, some of you are older.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: And depending on the years that you've had on this planet, you would have gone through a lot of emotions.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: And that's why, as I said, when I throw some of these words at you, you will relate to them because you would have experienced them.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: I surely have.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure you have too.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: So stick with me this morning because while I talk about these words, I also will come to the crux of this beautiful day and this beautiful word that God has given for us.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: So there's joy, which we all know of.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: There's peace.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: As I said, emotions.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: And as I go through these words, I realize that I have experienced all of these on my life on this planet: joy, peace, laughter, love, sadness, fear, loneliness.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I left hatred for last is uh I believe it's gone out of my system, and praise God for that.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And God has a large part to play in that, but it's also an emotion which I think at some point of time I have gone through.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: And today I want to tell you while we are on this topic, that as I'm talking about these emotions, these let's call them feelings, strong words, I want to tell you that Jesus is familiar with these emotions.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: And you'll say, No, that's that's not how it is.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: He was a son of God, he is the son of God.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: He he didn't go through these emotions.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: I want to tell you something, and don't have any other thoughts about it.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Jesus came on this planet as a human being, there was a reason for it, but that's not uh what I want to get into today.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: I want to tell you that uh what I want to get into today.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: I want to tell you that he came down on this planet as a human being, and he knows exactly how you and I feel while we are on this planet because he has felt the same.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: And as I said, this this beautiful day, as I go deeper into this word, don't take my word for it, take the word of God.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: So, as I said, he knows exactly how you feel in all your situations.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: He came down on this planet as a human being, he knows how you feel because he's been there and he's experienced them all.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: And I'll give you a few examples this morning.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: I actually have a short word this morning, but I know it's for each and every one of us this day.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: And I keep saying the word morning, but I will start with the love and compassion.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: I want to tell you Jesus is the epitome of love.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: He's it starts with him and it ends with him.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: And wherever Jesus went, the Bible keeps saying he had compassion on the people, he had compassion on the people, he had compassion on the widow, he had compassion on the man, he had compassion on the blind man, he had compassion on the leper.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: The Bible constantly uses the word compassion.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: And Jesus would stop in his path and heal people, he would stop in his path and change his plans to heal someone because of the compassion he had.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: So wonderful Jesus.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: When the people followed him, he had compassion on them and he wanted to feed them when they were in the middle of nowhere.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: And he told his disciples twice over, that's uh recorded in the Bible, twice over, in fact, saying that feed them, feed these people.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: He had compassion on them, the Bible says, and he wanted to feed them.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: And just to prove his compassion, also picked multiplication and fed them.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Multiplying loaves and fish, just so that the people who are following him would be fed.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Then I'll go into the next one: death and loss.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: You know, death is a loss of a person, and loss is just loss, and you'll say, Jesus doesn't know these things.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you two aspects of this.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Number one, you know, there's the shortest verse in the Bible that says Jesus wept.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: It's in John 11, 35, Jesus wept.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: And let me give you a background to that.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Jesus had a friend on this planet, his name was Lazarus.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: And when Lazarus died, the Bible says he dies, he was unwell, he was suffering from something, and Jesus is in another place.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: And the Bible says that Lazarus dies.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: And when he dies, Jesus feels for him, and the Bible says he wept.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: So I want to tell you today, Jesus is acquainted with loss, he's acquainted with death.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: And if you think the word loss doesn't mean something to Jesus, let me tell you something.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: He healed people, and those same people turned their back on him.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: So he knows loss.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: He feels loss, he felt loss, he knows what it is.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: And I want to tell you this morning, be assured that Jesus knows your loss too.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: He feels your pain because he has gone through it.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Then let me tell you about being alone or being dejected.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: You think Jesus didn't know what it's like to be alone?
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: You think Jesus doesn't know what it's like to be dejected?
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: And as I said, while I go through these emotions, these are things that all of us at some point of time have experienced at some time in our life on this planet.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, when Jesus was at the Garden of Gethsemane, that's the time just before the people are about to come and take him and put him on a cross.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: Do you know that he's he's um he's with his disciples, he's taken his loyals with him and he asked them to wait while I go deeper into the garden and pray.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And I want you to picture this because I started with being alone and being dejected, and at the time when Jesus was at his lowest, I believe this was the lowest of the times that Jesus had, and I know some of you can experience Jesus right now.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: At the time of his lowest, he didn't have anyone with him.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: In fact, he came back out and he told his disciples, could you not even be with me for an hour?
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: That's all he asked.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: If he could have some company for an hour, keep lookout for an hour, is what he says.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: And they fall asleep because it's an odd hour of the day.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: And he comes back and he says, Couldn't you be with me for an hour?
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: Just an hour, that's all I ask.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: So he knows what it's like to be alone.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: And if that's not enough, let me tell you something else.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: When Jesus was on that cross, I want to tell you one of the most heart-hitting words that ever came out of his mouth.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: The words of Jesus when he was hanging on the cross from the book of Matthew, the 27th chapter.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: So yeah, he knows what it's like to be alone.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: He knows what it's like to be dejected.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Some of you can feel a tremendous presence of Jesus and you should enjoy it.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: I want to tell you, Jesus is also acquainted with stress.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: In Luke 22, 44.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: The book of Luke, the 22nd chapter, the 44th verse.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: The Bible says that he was praying.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: This is the same time when he's gone to the Garden of Gethsemane.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: He's praying there, and the Bible says that he was in anger, uh agony.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And he was praying fervently, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling down upon the ground.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: I want to tell you that that's one of the hardest forms of stress.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: You know, it's documented in medical journals that some people can hit a level of stress where their capillaries burst and comes through their pores as because it has to escape the body.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: So, yes, Jesus is well acquainted with stress.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: He knew what he was about to take on, he knew that he was going to climb on that cross.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: And it was too much for him.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: And his sweat turns into blood, the Bible says.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Something that you've done in your life or some situation or the other where people tag you because it's a human thing, only humans can do these things.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: You know, people calling you a useless person.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: And maybe some of you have experienced it.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Maybe you you know getting ridiculed all the time is something that is an example of it.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: Maybe even getting degraded by people by be called called some really bad names.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: But let me tell you something.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: Jesus has gone through that.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: He was called names.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: He was mocked.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: And if you think you have been ridiculed, has anyone ever spat on you?
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: Has anyone ever taken a crown of thorns and put it onto your head?
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: They beat him with a reed.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: They gave him lashes.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: They beat him, they pushed him around, they called him names, they spat on him.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: And then they led him to a cross.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: So you see.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: I've just picked a hand few.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: A handful of them, I'm sorry.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: I've just picked a few to give you an example this morning.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: But I want you to understand that Jesus knows all our feelings.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: He has experienced these feelings when he was on this planet.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: And I have no doubt about it this beautiful morning, this beautiful day.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Have no doubt about it.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: If you think you are going through something, don't think that he doesn't know what it is.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: But as I said, I will reach the crux of the matter.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: And I'll start with telling you that you know there are these certain emotions that all of us have gone through, some of these words that you will resonate with.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: And now I've given you the examples of Jesus experiencing these very same feelings while he's on this planet.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And I want to tell you this morning, I want to give you a key, a master key.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: And I'm throwing these words back out there again.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: And I know we've all felt this at some time in our life, and some situations or the other, stress, being dejected, being called names, having lost your peace, being alone.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Having lost our joy and our laughter, probably at some time, even without love, or chasing a different kind of love which we didn't get.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: Feeling sad, being in fear.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, there are two things that Jesus would not know is fear and hatred.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: He fears nothing, he feared nothing.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: And he hated nothing.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: There's no way Jesus could ever know that emotion.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: But this beautiful day, I told you I have a secret.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: And as I said, while all of us have experienced these emotions sometime or the other, and so has Jesus.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: So has He.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: He's gone through all these emotions, just you, as just as you and I have.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: And for all of you who have felt it and maybe even feeling it right now, some form of something.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: This is his promise to you.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: This beautiful day from the book of Hebrews, 13th chapter, the fifth verse.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: The book of Hebrews, the 13th chapter, the fifth verse.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Whatever timeline you hear this word, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, hallelujah.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: No matter what emotion you go through on this planet, no matter all these, and believe me, there's just a handful of words that I threw at you.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: There are so many other emotions that you could go through on this planet, and I'm sure you have also.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: So have I.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: I just not put them in this list here because of the time that we have.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: But Jesus' promise to you and me this beautiful day is that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: And this is for someone else this morning.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: It goes into the next verse which says, The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: What will man do to me?
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: What can man do to me?
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah, amen.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: Whatever has happened and whatever maybe for some of you is happening.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: I just want to tell you the promise of the most high, though he was alone, because while he was on that cross and he was absolutely alone, his disciples had deserted him.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: Peter is most loyal before the before the crow happened three times.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: He already deserted him and he ran away.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: His disciples were nowhere in the picture because they would be prosecuted.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: He was alone on that cross.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: And he turns around and says, My father, why have you forsaken me?
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: What's left?
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: But yet, that beautiful father of yours is telling you this morning, I will never leave him or forsake you.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: He knows what it is, and which is why he will never do it to you.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Some of you can feel a tremendous presence of Jesus, and you should absolutely enjoy this beautiful day because it's specifically for you.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: Understand this morning that no matter what you're going through, no matter what you think, no matter what you feel, no matter what people have told you, no matter who was with you at that time when it happened, no matter if there was no one around, remember Jesus is always with you.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: And as I said, for those of you who need it, because there is someone who needs it, the Lord is your helper.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: You will not be afraid of anything, because man can do nothing to you.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: And this is another scripture that I needed to put out there because, as I believe, it's for someone here this morning.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: It's from the book of John, the 16th chapter, the 33rd verse.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: John the 16th chapter, the 33rd verse.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: And Jesus has said this, and you hear it is for you this morning.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: These things I have spoken to you, that in me you have peace.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: I told you, peace was one of the words that I put in there.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: I want to tell you, these words came way before the scripture came to me.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: But hallelujah.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: That in me you may have peace in the world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: I have overcome the world.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, hallelujah.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: Jesus has overcome everything.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: He has overcome everything, everything is under his feet.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And that's why Hebrews 13:6 says, The Lord is my God.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: What is man going to do to me?
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: Everything is in the spiritual world under Jesus' feet.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: These things I have spoken to you, that in me you will have peace.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Only in Jesus you will have peace.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Only in Jesus will you have a companion who is always there with you, who will never leave you nor forsake you, beautiful father.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: In the world you will have tribulation.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: He's telling you in me this morning there will be things that come.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: It's never going to be that.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, I take my word back, but it's just the word of God.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: In the world, you will have tribulation, but you need to be of good cure.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: You need to stand and look at your problem and be of good cure because Jesus has overcome the world.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: That situation for you has already been overcome.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: You are more, you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: And you can go back to your history books and look at any conqueror that you want, who was written down as the most famous conqueror ever.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: You are more than that in Christ Jesus.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: You are more than that in Christ Jesus.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Thank you for this beautiful time.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: I thank you for your beautiful word.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: I thank you, Lord, for your double-edged sword.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: That does not go back until it has achieved what it has been set out for.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: I thank you, Lord, this beautiful morning.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: That you are more than a conqueror.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: That we are more than conquerors in you, Father.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: I thank you that everything is at your feet because you have overcome the world.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: And with you, we are more than conquerors and we shall overcome everything.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Jesus, for your promise to us.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: First of all, thank you, Jesus, that you were obedient to that cross for us, that you were obedient to death on that cross, that you were obedient to a curse that you took up for us.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: And today, Lord, aligned with your word, you will never leave us nor forsake us.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: And I thank you for that, Lord.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: You will never leave us nor forsake us.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: And you are our helper, Lord.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: No matter what, we shall not be afraid.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Because man can do nothing to us.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: With you by our side.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful time.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you for this beautiful presence that people can feel.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Jesus.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' name I pray.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: Amen.
