- 0:00SPEAKER_00: If you don't believe in miracles, let's see what happens in the next 15 minutes.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: If you're not a regular here, you know that uh it takes me 15 minutes just to introduce the message, a little less preach the whole thing.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: So uh if you would take out your copy of God's word and join me in the Gospel of Luke this morning, Luke chapter 24.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be on page 950 in the Pewack Bible.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: If you don't own a Bible, we want you to use that one today, and that's our gift to you.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: We want you to have a Bible that you can use.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Page 950, Luke chapter 24.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: We're turning to Luke today because in this chapter we answer the question of why we do missions.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Why do we have a Go conference?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Why do we make such a big deal out of it?
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: We find the primary mission of the church in Luke chapter 24.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: We recognize that we are a local church, but we are part of a global body of believers that God has tasked with taking his gospel to the ends of the earth.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: God has sent Christ to accomplish salvation, and he sends the church to announce that salvation.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: These are two truths that work together in God's redemptive plan.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: What Christ accomplished, we announce.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: And so we turn to Luke chapter 24 this morning to see Jesus giving the mission mandate to his church.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Just to set the context very quickly as we look at this, the disciples of Jesus at the point of Luke chapter 24 are in an emotional upheaval.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: They have been on an emotional roller coaster ride.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: When they came into Jerusalem on Friday of Passion Week to shouts of Hosanna, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, they were not expecting that week to end with Jesus dying a gruesome death on a cross.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: They expected the one he, they thought was going to be the Messiah to establish his kingdom, but now he has been arrested by his religious leaders and he has been brutally executed by the Romans.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Their hearts are sunk.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Add on top of that, that now there are reports that three days after the crucifixion, his grave is empty, his body is not there, and people are reporting to have seen him alive.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: They don't know what to think.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: They want to believe it, but they cannot force themselves to do so.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Two of the disciples are leaving Jerusalem distraught.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: They're heading to a place called Emmaus, and there Jesus appears to them on that road, but he disguises himself so that they do not recognize him.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: And he asks them what is going on, and they tell him, Have you not been in Jerusalem?
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Do you not know what's going on?
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: The one we thought the Messiah has been killed, and now they are saying that he has been raised from the dead.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Jesus spent that evening with them.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: He stopped in an inn and they ate bread.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: They broke bread and ate dinner together, and at that moment they recognized who he was.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: And Jesus then from that point took them through the Old Testament.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: He revealed to them how Jesus had been shown through all the books of the Old Testament.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: These two disciples were now so on fire, they immediately turned around and ran back to Jerusalem to tell the rest of the disciples that they had experienced Christ resurrected, that he was alive.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: And when they get to them, they find the rest of the disciples in a room, a locked room, because the rest of the disciples are fearful for their lives.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: They think what happened to Jesus is about to happen to them.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: That is the context for this passage.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Ordinarily I have a stand in honor of God's word, but just for time's sake this remote this morning, let's all acknowledge what we read right now are not my words or the words of men.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: These are God's words to us for our lives.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Luke chapter 24, beginning in verse 36.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: While they were telling these things, Jesus himself stood in their midst, but they were startled and frightened, and thought that they were seeing a spirit.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: And he said to them, Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself, touch me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet, and while they were still could not believe it, because of their joy and amazement, he said to them, Have you anything here to eat?
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: And they gave him a piece of fish, and he took it and ate it before them.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Now he said to them, These are my words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all the things which are written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and he said to them, Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: You are witnesses of these things, and behold, I am sending you forth the promise of my Father upon you, but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Father, open our hearts and our minds to your word today.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Thank you for the mission mandate that you give the church, that you send us with purpose and you send us with power.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Help us to see that in your word and help us put it into a lie into practice in our lives today.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: We pray in Jesus' name.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: I've been told that last words are intended to be lasting words, that the last words people say tend to be the most important things that they say.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: The last words that they're going to share with somebody, they want it to be meaningful.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: And as we come to Luke chapter 24, we find the last words that Jesus tells his disciples before he ascends into heaven.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: We could also turn to Matthew chapter 28 and find the same conversation.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Jesus is about to give his disciples the mission mandate.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: This is why I have called you.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: This is why we have spent so much time together.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: This is why I've trained you and taught you.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: This is what you are to do now that I am to be gone.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: And so, first of all, we see a setting of the scene.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Mark tells us that while they were telling these things in the first verse there, verse 36, these things that they were telling refers to the two men from the road to Emmaus.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: They have come back to Jerusalem and said, we have seen Jesus alive.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: He has revealed himself to us.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: And then I think they began to explain the scriptures.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: He took us to Genesis and showed us the Messiah in Genesis.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: He took us to the book of Leviticus and showed us the Messiah in the book of Leviticus.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: They began to explain these things to the rest of the disciples.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure there was debate amongst the disciples.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Are you sure it was Jesus?
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Was it just somebody that looked like Jesus?
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Is it possible that Jesus is alive?
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: And while they are doing this, Jesus appears suddenly before them.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: John chapter 20 tells us that they are in a room with the door locked.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: So Jesus didn't knock on the door and come through.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: He didn't climb through a window.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: He just suddenly appeared in the room.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: One moment he wasn't there, the next moment he was there.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: And when he showed up, he was in his glorified, resurrected, eternal body.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: And when they saw him, the response wasn't, oh great, Jesus is alive.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: We knew it the whole time.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: The response is they are frightened.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: They are startled.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: They are scared to death.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: In fact, Jesus has to say peace, shalom, a common greeting, but in this case, it was more than a common greeting.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: It was necessary because I imagine these men were ducking behind tables and hiding behind curtains because they thought they had seen a ghost.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: They were startled.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Verse 34 says, hey, Jesus is alive.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: He's appeared to us in Simon Peter.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: Verse 37, they're frightened when Jesus shows up.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: How do you go from that, confident he's alive, to startled in verse 37?
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Because you don't expect him to show up.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: I can do this in my own house.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Darlene and I share a house together.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: I can walk into our bedroom and scare her to death.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: She will jump out of her skin.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: And I have to remind her, I live here too, honey.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: She doesn't expect to see me.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: That is what is happening here.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: The disciples were not expecting to see him.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: And Jesus says, Why are you troubled?
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: I've told you all of these things.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: Why are your hearts troubled?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: And then we serve an amazing Savior.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: He gives us exactly what we need.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: He gives us the evidence we need.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: He says, Here are my hands.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Look at my feet.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: There is his resurrected body, still with the scars from the crucifixion.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: This tells us this is not a spiritual body.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: He says, I'm not an uh a spirit floating around out here.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: This is my body.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: Here, come look.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: And they were still amazed.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: He says they were amazed.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: It was too good to believe.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: And so he said, Anybody got anything to eat?
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And they brought him some fish, and he ate the fish in front of him.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: What an amazing savior we have that gives us the evidence that we need.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: And he does not chastise his disciples and say, How can you not believe in the resurrection?
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: He simply gives them the evidence that they needed.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: You know, often I find myself in this situation because intellectually I can believe in the resurrection.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: Intellectually, I can believe in the difference it makes in my life.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: But when I sit in the doctor's office and I wait for the test results, is the resurrection as real to me in that moment as it is when I'm standing here?
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Is my faith as real when I'm at Thrive Camp with 400 other students from all around the country as it is when I'm walking the hallways of my high school?
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Is it just an intellectual thing that I say I believe in this, or has it truly become real?
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Has it become experiential?
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: This whole conversation is encouraging to me for this.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: These men who are hiding behind curtains and ducting behind tables and are frightened for Jesus, these are the men that Jesus called.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: These are the men that Jesus trained and loved.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: These are the men that in a few short months would turn the world upside down with the gospel.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: These fearful little saints, once they understood the resurrection was real, once it became experienced for them, and once they were empowered by the Holy Spirit, nothing would stop them.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: And oftentimes my faith is fearful until I'm reminded that the resurrection is real.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: It has transformed my life, and God has empowered me with the Holy Spirit to do exactly what he called the disciples to do.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: We see the scene set, and then we see that the disciples are sent in verses 44 through 49.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: Jesus said, These words have spoken to you before I left.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: And he explained to them from the Old Testament and the New Testament.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: He talks about the books of Moses and of the prophets and of the Psalms.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: That just is a simple way of talking about the entire Old Testament.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: And he says, Before I left, I explained these things to you.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: You know, right now we don't understand all the things that are biblical.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: We don't understand all the things that are spiritual.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: Paul says in 1 Corinthians 13, we see as through a mirror dimly.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: But there's coming a day when we will understand everything clearly.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: When we stand before God in heaven, we will understand the questions that we have, and the ones that we don't will have all eternity to get the right answers for.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: We will see things clearly.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: God gives these disciples a foretaste of that right here.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: He began to open their eyes, verse 45 says, so that they could understand the scriptures.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: He did the same thing for the two on the road to Emmaus in verse 27.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: He began to explain the scriptures to them because these people had already admitted, you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: These people had already said, You are the one we've been waiting for, but they had a partial understanding of who the Christ was.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: Their understanding was biblical, but it was only partially biblical.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: They understood that Jesus was going to come, the Messiah was going to come, he was going to deliver his people, and he was going to establish a kingdom.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: They understood that, but they had a limited understanding of what that meant.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: They thought that Jesus was going to come and he was going to establish an earthly kingdom, a greater earthly kingdom, and establish all things.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: But Jesus had a greater mission than that, and he takes them to the scriptures and he opens their eyes so that they begin to see that Jesus was sent for a greater purpose than just a greater human kingdom.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And he begins to explain to them what that purpose was.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: He says, here is why Christ was sent.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Just very quickly, verse 46.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead on the third day.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: This is a stumbling block for the disciples.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: This is a stumbling block for the Jewish nation.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Why on earth would the Messiah suffer?
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: Why on earth would the one who God has sent be crucified?
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: Why would that happen?
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: And Jesus opened their eyes to understand what they previously could not understand, that Jesus was sent with the purpose of suffering to take away the wrath of God against the sins of mankind.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Luke 19, 10, the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which is lost.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: They had a limited understanding of the Messiah, and God opened their hearts and opened their minds to understand why Christ had come.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Hebrews chapter 9, verse 26 says he appeared to do away with sin by sacrificing himself.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: 1 John chapter 3, verse 8 says that Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Jesus was sent with a purpose, and it wasn't to build a greater earthly kingdom for man, it was to die in the place of sinners to make us right with a holy God to create an eternal kingdom.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Jesus came with a purpose, and Jesus came with power.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: When he came to accomplish that purpose, God did not send him by himself.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: He sent him with his power.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Jesus was God in the flesh.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: He demonstrated his authority over demons.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: He demonstrated his authority over creation.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: John chapter 10, Jesus says, All authority has been given to me.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: I've been given the authority to lay down my life, and I've been given the authority to raise my life back up.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Ephesians chapter 1, Paul prays for the church, and he says, I pray that you would begin to comprehend the very power of God that is displayed in raising his son back from the dead.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: Here's all I want you to hear in this Jesus came with a purpose, and that purpose was to die for the sins of lost men and women, to make them right with a holy God.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: And he did so in the power of God.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: How do we know?
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: Because three days after he was crucified, he resurrected from the dead, having defeated sin and having defeated death.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: In John chapter 20, Jesus tells his disciples this just as the Father sent me, I'm sending you.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: Why do we do missions?
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Why do we have a missions conference?
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Why do we partner with people here in our city and in our state and in our nation and around the world?
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Because Jesus said, Just as the Father sent me, I am sending you.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: And these two truths go hand in hand.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Jesus came to accomplish salvation, and the church is sent to announce that salvation.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: This is God's plan for the redemption of the world.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: What Jesus accomplished, we announce.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: And so he tells them, verse 47, there's an and right in the middle of the sentence.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Jesus died for the forgiveness of sins.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Verse 47, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: You are witnesses of these things.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Jesus says, Here's your mandate, church.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Here's what you're supposed to be doing.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: Go proclaim the forgiveness of sin through repentance.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Church, we do a lot of things.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: We'll do a lot of good things.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: We worship together, we serve together, we preach, we teach, we pray together, we sing together.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: All of those are good things.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: They are not the mission of the church.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: All of those things are means to an end.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: The end is the proclamation of the gospel to the nations.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: We gather together and we preach and we sing and we courage and we pray and we worship all to get us so that we are prepared to do what God has called us to do.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: The scriptures teach us how to worship.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: They teach us how to pray.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: They teach us how to serve one another.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: They teach us how to obey.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: But all of those things are done so that we might accomplish the purpose that God has for us, which is to proclaim the forgiveness of sin through the repentance of people.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: He's called us to do all of these things.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: That is the main thing.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: The church has a message, but that message is not a social message.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: That message is not a political message.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: That message is not an educational message.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: That message is not a reform message.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: That message is the gospel message.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: What answers all of the other problems, what answers political problems and economic problems and social problems and educational problems is the gospel.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: Lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: And so we partner with all of these different partners because they are speaking the gospel into situations.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: They are speaking the gospel so that lives will be transformed for the kingdom of God.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: But God doesn't just send us with a purpose, He sends us with power.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: And He says, I want you to go to the city, and when you get there, you wait until you will receive the promise of the Father that will clothe you with power.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Don't do this on your own.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: In fact, you can't do this on your own.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: What I call you to do, I empower you to do.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: And I'm going to give you the promise of the Holy Spirit, the promise of God.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: In Matthew chapter 28, the Great Commission says, All authority has been given to me, Jesus said.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I've commanded you.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: You're not doing this alone.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: I am going with you.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: And as soon as he said that, he says, Here's what I want you to do: don't do anything.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I've just given you your mission.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: Go win the world for Jesus Christ.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: Go announce the gospel to everywhere, but don't go yet.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Go wait.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: And they went back to Jerusalem and they waited.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: And in Acts chapter 2, on the day of Pentecost, that promised power from God fell from the sky, and the Holy Spirit fell upon the church and empowered them and indwelled them.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: And these same disciples who were hiding in a room because they were fearful of death were out on the streets proclaiming the gospel because they knew the resurrection was real and because they knew they had been empowered by the Holy Spirit.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: Church, we will never accomplish the mission God has for us if we do not embrace that the resurrection is real and it changes and transforms our lives, and when we allow the Holy Spirit to empower us to do what He's called us to do.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: Because Christ suffered, we have the message.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Because Christ forgives sins, we need to go tell our neighbors and the nations.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: And because the Holy Spirit empowers us, we can do far beyond anything we could ever ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Forever and ever.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: The only other question we have is, God, where are you sending me?
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: That's the question that should be on each one of our hearts this morning.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: God, you called me.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: You sent Jesus Christ to die for me.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: He resurrected from the grave.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: He's taken the penalty for my sin.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: He's transformed my life.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: I've repented my sin.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: I've trusted in him.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: He's transformed my life.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: And now he's turned to me and says, It's your turn.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: It's your turn to go.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: It's not a request.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: Christ's follower, it's not a request.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: Jesus is not saying, I wish you would do this.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: It's a commandment from Jesus Christ.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: He commands us to go.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: This is what we do with our lives.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: The question is, where will I go?
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: Will I go across the street?
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Will I go to the desk?
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: My friend's sitting at work with me.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: Will I walk over to the mission fair in the gym today?
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: And will I walk up to the ministry partners and say, tell me about what God's doing in your ministry?
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Maybe he has a place for me there.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: The only question we have left to answer this morning in Go Conference is God, where are you sending me?
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: It might be on a mission trip.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: It might be across the street.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: It might be across town.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: But God's sending you.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: Where is he sending you?
