• 0:01
Speaker 1: Governor Moore and Maryland Sina bill that is ending the
• 0:05
Speaker 1: law enforcement cooperation with ICE.
• 0:07
Speaker 2: Well, first of all, it's another despicable action by Governor
• 0:10
Speaker 2: Wes Moore. Why would you prevent your state and local
• 0:13
Speaker 2: law enforcement from cooperating with federal law enforcement. So the President,
• 0:17
Speaker 2: of course, continues to always stand on the side of
• 0:19
Speaker 2: law enforcement. And this is another just horrible and frankly
• 0:23
Speaker 2: political action taken by Governor Wes Moore, and unfortunately the
• 0:27
Speaker 2: people of his state are going to read the.
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: Consequences of it.
• 0:31
Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:34
Speaker 1: Good Thursday morning. Nice to have you with us on
• 0:36
Speaker 1: the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got two big
• 0:39
Speaker 1: stories for you. Grandma comes to the White House, a
• 0:43
Speaker 1: DC resident who lost her grandson to violence, praises Donald
• 0:48
Speaker 1: Trump and says she loves him and to get off
• 0:51
Speaker 1: his back because he's keeping Washington, d C. Safe. It
• 0:56
Speaker 1: was a touching moment and it's a story you will
• 0:58
Speaker 1: not hear in the mainstream media, and we'll have it
• 1:00
Speaker 1: for you in just a second. Also, in a big report,
• 1:05
Speaker 1: the FBI Director Cashpttel is now saying the FBI has
• 1:10
Speaker 1: uncovered antifa's funding sources and some of the money may
• 1:15
Speaker 1: be coming from overseas that as well. It's the forty
• 1:20
Speaker 1: seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 1:22
  Speaker 3: Story number one.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: There was a really sincere and touching moment at the
• 1:27
Speaker 1: White House that many of you will never ever hear
• 1:30
Speaker 1: about because the media doesn't want you to know that
• 1:33
Speaker 1: Donald Trump is actually winning and doing what he said
• 1:36
Speaker 1: he was going to do about keeping people safe. A Washington,
• 1:40
Speaker 1: DC grandmother who lost her grandson in twenty seventeen due
• 1:44
Speaker 1: to violence in the city, came to the White House
• 1:47
Speaker 1: to praise Donald Trump, stating that one thing she liked
• 1:50
Speaker 1: about him was that he keeps it real, just like grandma.
• 1:55
Speaker 1: During a Black History Month reception on Wednesday, Trump spoke
• 1:59
Speaker 1: about how now, prior to his administration's cracking down on
• 2:02
Speaker 1: crime in the nation's capital, the district of Columbia was
• 2:06
Speaker 1: a crime capital and a horror show. Trump then introduced
• 2:11
Speaker 1: DC's new favorite grandmother, Miss Cook, a lifelong Washington resident
• 2:16
Speaker 1: who tragically lost her grandson to violence in twenty seventeen. Quote,
• 2:21
Speaker 1: we can't provide opportunity for the next generation if we
• 2:25
Speaker 1: do not also have a thing called law and order.
• 2:28
Speaker 1: We need law and order. Trump said, you know, Washington,
• 2:31
Speaker 1: d C. Is amazing. It was a crime capital. It
• 2:35
Speaker 1: was a horror show a year ago. It was really dangerous,
• 2:39
Speaker 1: and now it's one of the safetest cities anywhere in
• 2:41
Speaker 1: the country. Trump went on to introduce the grandmother, and
• 2:45
Speaker 1: prior to speaking, Cook asked him for a hug. I
• 2:49
Speaker 1: want you to listen to this incredible moment of where
• 2:52
Speaker 1: policy becomes real to the American people. Come on, you
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: can thank you.
• 3:06
  Speaker 3: I like her.
• 3:08
Speaker 4: I like him too. One thing I like about him
• 3:11
Speaker 4: he keeps it real, just like grandma. I appreciate that
• 3:16
Speaker 4: because I can trust him because he tells exactly how
• 3:18
Speaker 4: you feel and what he thinks. Thank God for this President.
• 3:26
Speaker 4: I am feeled my cup brothers over because he allowed
• 3:32
Speaker 4: his constituents, his people to come to my house to
• 3:35
Speaker 4: interview me to talk about the murder of my grandson.
• 3:41
Speaker 4: It seemed like nobody cared. I'm an advocate for murder.
• 3:45
Speaker 4: I marched, I rallied. I pulled out other families in
• 3:49
Speaker 4: the district of Columbia that had murders and did not
• 3:52
Speaker 4: have answers. Woo, we ain't marshall We rally and nobody
• 3:58
Speaker 4: heard me. Democrats get mad at me until this Republican
• 4:04
Speaker 4: seeing his consistuency, his people out there to interview me
• 4:08
Speaker 4: in my home. Have you ever heard of a thing?
• 4:11
Speaker 4: Then they invited me twice before Congress to testify for
• 4:16
Speaker 4: the beautiful bill that's gonna change crime in the district.
• 4:21
Speaker 4: If you kill somebody, okay, you take a life, you
• 4:26
Speaker 4: do life, just that simple. If you do a hossh crime,
• 4:32
Speaker 4: you do housh time, just that simple. And if we
• 4:36
Speaker 4: need national Guard, and which we did years ago.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: He brought it on.
• 4:45
Speaker 4: I love him. I don't want to hear nothing you
• 4:47
Speaker 4: got to say about the racist stuff. And don't be
• 4:50
Speaker 4: looking at me on the news, hate knowing me because
• 4:53
Speaker 4: I'm standing up for somebody that deserves me.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: Stay up, going, get off the man's back.
• 4:57
Speaker 4: Let him do his job.
• 4:59
Speaker 5: He's doing the right place.
• 5:00
Speaker 4: Buckball farm it and grandma said it.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: You will never hear that. And from the mainstream media
• 5:26
Speaker 1: that moment celebrating black history and a grandmother who lost
• 5:30
Speaker 1: her grandson praising President Trump for what he's doing to
• 5:33
Speaker 1: protect the African American community Washington.
• 5:36
  Speaker 4: D C.
• 5:37
Speaker 1: Is not on the nightly news. Why because it's just
• 5:42
Speaker 1: too dangerous. It's too much truth and reality about the
• 5:46
Speaker 1: situation and Donald Trump yet again putting all Americans first
• 5:51
Speaker 1: and their safety, even if they're in a liberal city
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: like Washington, d C.
• 5:56
Speaker 3: Now story number two, Cash Mattel.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: The FBI director, now coming out and saying that the
• 6:02
Speaker 1: FBI has uncovered ANTIFA funding sources and a major breaking
• 6:07
Speaker 1: news event. Now, let me remind you of where we
• 6:11
Speaker 1: were about four months ago when Cash Bttel was talking
• 6:14
Speaker 1: at the White House. When Cash Bttel was talking at
• 6:17
Speaker 1: the White House was President Trump, and this is what
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: he said.
• 6:21
Speaker 5: What we are doing at the FBI is simple. It
• 6:23
Speaker 5: does not require rocket science. We are following the money.
• 6:27
Speaker 5: Money never lies, and that's what it's going to take
• 6:30
Speaker 5: to bring down this network of organized criminal thugs, gang bangers,
• 6:36
Speaker 5: and yes, domestic terrorists because that's what they are. They
• 6:39
Speaker 5: are harming everyday citizens in every single one of our communities.
• 6:42
Speaker 5: And the folks you see here on the right and left,
• 6:44
Speaker 5: there's some of the bravest men and women we have today.
• 6:46
Speaker 5: They're reporting the stories lifetime because the mainstream media won't
• 6:49
Speaker 5: cover it. They're putting their lives on the line. They're
• 6:51
Speaker 5: standing up for the flag. The least we can do
• 6:54
Speaker 5: is stand up for them, So you have my thanks.
• 6:56
Speaker 5: I read more of your stories than I do theirs,
• 6:58
Speaker 5: because you guys are putting out the truth and we
• 7:00
Speaker 5: deserve a country where you are protected as equally as
• 7:03
Speaker 5: they are. We in this FBI will go after with
• 7:06
Speaker 5: the criminals with the vengeance. We will not rest until
• 7:09
Speaker 5: we find every single seed, money, donor, organization and funding
• 7:14
Speaker 5: mechanism that we have. And I want to echo the
• 7:16
Speaker 5: Secretary's comments on Scott Besssett, who's allowing us to map
• 7:20
Speaker 5: out these networks through their financial criminal activities which has
• 7:24
Speaker 5: been going on for decades. And I would like to
• 7:26
Speaker 5: remind the American public they built this disease temple of
• 7:29
Speaker 5: corruption over decades and in eight short months, mister President,
• 7:33
Speaker 5: you have crippled their foundation because of your leadership here,
• 7:37
Speaker 5: because of the Inner Agency, because of people like Deputy
• 7:39
Speaker 5: Attorney General Blanche, and because of Attorney General Pam Bondi's
• 7:42
Speaker 5: fearless leadership to go after criminals wherever they are. They
• 7:45
Speaker 5: will not be able to hide. They were able to
• 7:47
Speaker 5: hide and conspire with prior administrations, and we are exposing
• 7:50
Speaker 5: their corruption from within and we will go to every
• 7:53
Speaker 5: single city in this country under Operation Summer Heat and
• 7:56
Speaker 5: the other operations we are doing at the FBI to
• 7:58
Speaker 5: bring these criminals to just as we will arrest every
• 8:01
Speaker 5: single one of them from whatever percha sit in, private
• 8:04
Speaker 5: or public. No matter how your goal or your ambition is,
• 8:07
Speaker 5: it will be crushed by the Constitution because the American
• 8:10
Speaker 5: people deserve law and order, and that's what we're going
• 8:12
  Speaker 5: to give you.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: You listen to Cashptel there, and he made it very
• 8:16
Speaker 1: clear we're going to go after the funders. The FBI
• 8:19
Speaker 1: will follow the funds to dismantle Antifa operations. So fast
• 8:25
Speaker 1: forward just four and a half months later and the
• 8:28
Speaker 1: FBI director is saying now that investigators have uncovered what
• 8:33
Speaker 1: he described as major funding streams tied to Antifa. The
• 8:37
Speaker 1: revelation signal possible new enforcement actions as the Bureau is
• 8:41
Speaker 1: intensifying their scrutiny of left wing violence. According to the
• 8:45
Speaker 1: report coming out from The Washington Examiner. Cashptel, also speaking
• 8:51
Speaker 1: on the Dan by Gino Show, said the FBI under
• 8:54
Speaker 1: President Donald Trump, has been conducting a financial investigation and
• 8:59
Speaker 1: how demonstrates linked to the loosely organized far left movement
• 9:04
Speaker 1: are really supported here's part of that interview. There's been
• 9:08
Speaker 1: actual action to take down and dismantle this entire ring
• 9:11
  Speaker 1: of people.
• 9:12
Speaker 5: You're right, we set out to actually activate intelligence based operations.
• 9:18
Speaker 5: This includes Antifa and dan You know this. How many
• 9:20
Speaker 5: people were arrested related to prayer Land. We're over two
• 9:23
Speaker 5: dozen federal arrests. We're in the middle of federal trial
• 9:27
Speaker 5: in five of those defendants. This week again in Texas,
• 9:30
Speaker 5: nineteen people have been convicted for acts of violence related
• 9:34
Speaker 5: to Antifa. It's in the indictment. You don't got to
• 9:37
Speaker 5: believe me or you. Everybody can go read the public indictment.
• 9:40
Speaker 5: And it didn't just happen there. It happened in Copcity
• 9:42
Speaker 5: in Georgia, where we had to go rearrest everybody because
• 9:45
Speaker 5: the state authorities couldn't get their act together to produce
• 9:48
Speaker 5: the enough information to take that to trial. So we did.
• 9:52
Speaker 5: And it's not a creation or manufacturing of information.
• 9:56
  Speaker 3: It exists.
• 9:58
Speaker 5: It's just a willingness that you and I and this
• 10:00
Speaker 5: building's new leadership took to say, we're gonna look at
• 10:03
Speaker 5: the facts that exist. We're not gonna try to make
• 10:05
Speaker 5: up facts that don't so we can serve a political
• 10:07
Speaker 5: narrative and wait till you and I know you know this,
• 10:09
Speaker 5: but wait till you see what's coming in the next
• 10:12
Speaker 5: month or two on the funding streams related to this.
• 10:15
Speaker 5: You and I had launched a serious investigation. We had said,
• 10:19
Speaker 5: these organizations don't operate alone, don't operate in silence. They
• 10:24
Speaker 5: operate with the heavy, heavy stream of funding. And we
• 10:27
Speaker 5: started looking into it and guess what, Dan, we found them.
• 10:30
Speaker 1: We found them now. To be clear, Patel did not
• 10:34
Speaker 1: identify specific donors, organizations, or financial mechanisms, but said more
• 10:40
Speaker 1: details could emerge in the coming months as the investigation continues.
• 10:45
Speaker 1: The FBI director said agents are examining whether funding has
• 10:49
Speaker 1: flowed through US based nonprofit groups. Let me say that again,
• 10:54
Speaker 1: weather funding has flowed through US based nonprofit group, meaning
• 11:00
Speaker 1: some of this money could actually be coming from overseas.
• 11:04
Speaker 1: There's also some groups that have tax exempt status as
• 11:08
Speaker 1: well as possible foreign sources. He emphasized that investigators are
• 11:13
Speaker 1: focused on tracing financial support tied to acts of violence
• 11:17
Speaker 1: specifically and not constitutionally protected protest activity. Go back to
• 11:24
Speaker 1: what Cashptel said, money doesn't lie, describing the effort as
• 11:29
Speaker 1: a strategy to follow the money to determine who may
• 11:32
Speaker 1: be underwriting unlawful conduct. Patel also pointed to prosecutions the
• 11:38
Speaker 1: Bureau has already brought that, he said, we're connected to
• 11:41
Speaker 1: Antifa related violence, including federal arrests and convictions tied to
• 11:47
Speaker 1: protest incidents in multiple states now under his leadership. He
• 11:53
Speaker 1: referenced that ongoing federal trial involving nine defendants in Texas.
• 11:57
Speaker 1: They're accused of ambushing and attempting to murder ice personnel
• 12:01
Speaker 1: on July the fourth of last year. Patel also cited
• 12:05
Speaker 1: a case from twenty twenty three in Georgia surrounding the
• 12:09
Speaker 1: proposed Atlanta public safety training facility known as cop City.
• 12:15
Speaker 1: The director said the FBI has elevated the issue internally
• 12:19
Speaker 1: by creating what he described as a dedicated program focused
• 12:24
Speaker 1: on identifying financial backers of protests related violence. Tracking Antifa
• 12:30
Speaker 1: has become so important that the Bureau, he sad, establish
• 12:33
Speaker 1: additional resources to investigate the funding behind such activity. Antifa
• 12:39
Speaker 1: has long been described by participants and many analysts as
• 12:44
Speaker 1: a decentralized movement rather than a formal organization, a distinction
• 12:49
Speaker 1: that has complicated past law enforcement efforts. They did this
• 12:54
Speaker 1: on purpose. Why because it's hard to pursue conspiracy style cases.
• 12:58
Speaker 1: Patel points to antifa's organizational structures, including conferences and a
• 13:04
Speaker 1: national network for local chapters. Bongino also criticized past FBI
• 13:09
Speaker 1: leadership under Democratic President Barack Obama and Joe Biden for
• 13:15
Speaker 1: describing Antifa, as they said, an idea quote unquote. It's
• 13:20
Speaker 1: not an idea when actual action follows the idea. In
• 13:25
Speaker 1: September of twenty five, Trump also signed that executive order
• 13:29
Speaker 1: declaring Antifa a domestic terrorist organization after first raising the
• 13:35
Speaker 1: idea during his first term. Patel said the FBI's current
• 13:39
Speaker 1: approach relies solely on intelligence and financial investigations, similar to
• 13:45
Speaker 1: those used in other counter terrorism probes. He did not
• 13:49
Speaker 1: announce new charges tied specifically to the alleged funding networks,
• 13:53
Speaker 1: but clearly there's a lot more of this story coming
• 13:56
Speaker 1: very soon. And it also goes back to what was
• 13:59
Speaker 1: said five months ago. Go at the White House. Donald
• 14:01
Speaker 1: Trump had a clear mandate on this issue, and cash
• 14:05
Speaker 1: for Tell and Dan Bongino made sure to pay off
• 14:08
Speaker 1: on that mandate, so the American people got exactly what
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: they voted for.
