Thailand just dropped a major deportation playbook — signed by the Prime Minister — that spells out exactly when and how foreigners can be kicked out. If you’re convicted of serious crimes like illegal entry or jail time of five years or more, Thai authorities now have 50 days to notify the Interior Ministry before your release, giving them time to decide if you should be deported — and possibly banned from ever returning. Plus, other countries can request your transfer for humanitarian reasons, but they must foot all costs and you must agree in writing — and it’s gotta happen within 30 days…
