A local indie film, “The Pinsetter,” is being shot right inside Boutwell’s Bowling in Concord, capturing the gritty, nostalgic story of a candlepin alley owner fighting to keep his business alive from 1994 to 2004. Filmmaker Carson Lund, inspired by the closure of his childhood haunt Leda Lanes, found the perfect retro vibe at Boutwell’s — even restoring parts of it with salvaged pieces.
