- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Becca Tilly and Tanya Radd, an iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two-time People's Choice Award-winning podcast.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hello, everybody!
- 0:11Speaker 3: We are scrubbing in.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Happy Thursday.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Happy Thursday. I was thinking about how... Remember how we.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Were talking about the Taylor Swift decoding thing and then
- 0:23Speaker 4: it ended up being my.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Debut album or something?
- 0:27Speaker 5: But then.
- 0:29Speaker 4: That whole jargon of words that people had scrambled up.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Was about Patient Zero and Dakota Johnson and everything?
- 0:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it was North and South.
- 0:38Speaker 3: So all of that.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Just spelled out that sentence about her first album or
- 0:43Speaker 4: whatever for nothing?
- 0:46Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying?
- 0:47Speaker 5: Yeah, that is kind of random. So it spelled out
- 0:50Speaker 5: my first records we recorded on November 10th. Now, we
- 0:52Speaker 5: don't know if that still could be the case.
- 0:55Speaker 4: But how strange if that just coincidentally.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Spells that out.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Unless she's just really messing with people.
- 1:00Speaker 1: No, but there's so many things. Like, I watched a
- 1:02Speaker 1: whole thing about her coming out for Dakota's thing and
- 1:06Speaker 1: how she, like, hit Dakota's back at exactly, like, 319.
- 1:09Speaker 2: 3 plus 9.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Plus 1 is... 13 or something. And then Dakota's monologue
- 1:14Speaker 1: was exactly certain amount, like minutes. And then you add
- 1:17Speaker 1: those numbers up and it's 13.
- 1:19Speaker 4: That to me is different than these words, spelling something out.
- 1:22Speaker 3: That's very specific.
- 1:24Speaker 5: Well, it's not a coincidence. So either maybe a writer
- 1:27Speaker 5: at the Emmys, I'm sorry, was it the Emmys? Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Put that in there to mess with people. Like who knows?
- 1:32Speaker 5: There's probably an explanation somewhere, but I don't think it's
- 1:35Speaker 5: just a coincidence.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Well, we'll just have to wait till November 10th.
- 1:38Speaker 5: It's all we can do.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Crazy. Um, How are you doing on this fine day?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Doing great, you know, just enjoying the heat wave, just
- 1:48Speaker 1: riding it out.
- 1:48Speaker 4: We're almost done. We're almost done. Just stay the course.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Have you done your solo date yet?
- 1:58Speaker 1: She's so funny, that Beccatilly, you know, she's such a
- 2:01Speaker 1: little giggle puss.
- 2:03Speaker 2: A giggle puss.
- 2:04Speaker 1: No, I haven't yet, but I will do two by
- 2:06Speaker 1: the end of this week.
- 2:07Speaker 5: Oh, great.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Have you done your solo?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Of course not. Yeah.
- 2:11Speaker 1: We should do our solos at the same time, but
- 2:13Speaker 1: just do them separately.
- 2:14Speaker 3: It's not feeling very solo.
- 2:16Speaker 1: No, not the same place.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 1: It's just so that we can hold each other accountable.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I think holding each other accountable is like a huge thing.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 4: I remember when you tried to hold me accountable, like
- 2:26Speaker 4: about exercising and stuff.
- 2:28Speaker 1: That was the wrong role for me. Let me tell you.
- 2:32Speaker 3: No, you're really good at holding people accountable. I am,
- 2:34Speaker 3: but you don't receive it. I'm just not being good
- 2:35Speaker 3: at being held accountable.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Becca does not receive it well. She either goes to
- 2:39Speaker 1: you or she just.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Why that happened? Like, I don't know what my.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Because I've always been such a people pleaser and wanting
- 2:45Speaker 4: to do the right thing and do things the right way.
- 2:48Speaker 4: So I don't know where there was a switch in
- 2:49Speaker 4: my brain of being like, nah.
- 2:52Speaker 1: By the way, somebody messaged me after our date last
- 2:55Speaker 1: weekend and they were like, I don't know why this
- 2:57Speaker 1: makes me so emotional, but like you, you recently said
- 3:00Speaker 1: on the podcast, how you feel like there's distance between
- 3:02Speaker 1: you and Becca. And then she, you guys go out
- 3:04Speaker 1: on a date and she does this like dedication reel
- 3:07Speaker 1: to you. She's a real one. And I was like,
- 3:11Speaker 1: she is.
- 3:14Speaker 3: And don't forget about it.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I don't, I don't, I don't take it for granted.
- 3:18Speaker 4: I think it's just, you know what it is, is
- 3:20Speaker 4: that even though I don't like being held accountable and
- 3:23Speaker 4: I don't like being told what to do, I really
- 3:25Speaker 4: have a, I've realized how significant my friends are in
- 3:30Speaker 4: my life and how I have so much, especially my friends.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Cause everyone's like in a different, everyone's busy. Like everyone
- 3:36Speaker 4: has like partners and kids and schedules and jobs. And
- 3:41Speaker 4: it's like, I have, first of all, the freedom in
- 3:44Speaker 4: my job, I have freedom with time. I have freedom with,
- 3:49Speaker 4: you know, like my existence in life and not having kids.
- 3:56Speaker 4: And I have the, the like capacity to do things
- 3:59Speaker 4: and show up in spaces.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And I'm always like, if I don't do that, then
- 4:03Speaker 3: what's the point?
- 4:04Speaker 4: You know, like if I don't use my time towards
- 4:06Speaker 4: something that, that gives back to me.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I'm going to give you credit for that because I like,
- 4:12Speaker 1: there was a stretch of like, I had a stretch
- 4:14Speaker 1: of like four days where I had like nothing to do.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Like it was very stressful. not normal. Like I just
- 4:19Speaker 1: had like four days of nothing and no plans and
- 4:23Speaker 1: I could not motivate myself to even like go on
- 4:25Speaker 1: a walk on those days. So because you have that
- 4:28Speaker 1: freedom to your schedule, like I think because I'm so
- 4:31Speaker 1: strict on like a schedule with work and picking up
- 4:33Speaker 1: kids and dah, dah, dah, I have to stay like
- 4:37Speaker 1: motivated and kind of like go, go, go. But when
- 4:39Speaker 1: you remove all that, it's very hard to get yourself.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So the fact that you are getting yourself to this
- 4:44Speaker 1: point is an accomplishment.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Well, I was thinking, like, when Haley was in Europe,
- 4:51Speaker 3: I went over.
- 4:53Speaker 4: And I saw Allie and, like, went with them and
- 4:56Speaker 4: helped with Remy and, like, got to spend time with them.
- 4:59Speaker 4: And then Tuesday I asked Brittany what she was doing
- 5:02Speaker 4: and I went over to her house and helped with
- 5:03Speaker 4: the kids because her husband Michael was out of town.
- 5:06Speaker 3: And I was like, you just got to, you know,
- 5:08Speaker 3: if you want to see your friends in this season,
- 5:10Speaker 3: you've got to go.
- 5:11Speaker 5: You've got to show up. Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Make it happen.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Had to rearrange your date night to get time outside
- 5:17Speaker 4: of the podcast with you.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Shout out to the Valium.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Not taking it.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I was proud of myself, actually.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you have.
- 5:28Speaker 4: A weirdly high pain tolerance, but sometimes not. If you're
- 5:33Speaker 4: in your head about pain, it's not high.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's not. It's, I agree. I think I have like
- 5:42Speaker 1: a weirdly high threshold for pain. However, I think that
- 5:46Speaker 1: I have a lot of anxiety and Valium is for
- 5:49Speaker 1: your anxiety, not for pain.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Have you always had anxiety or is it new?
- 5:53Speaker 1: I think it's new. Because like all this stuff that's
- 5:56Speaker 1: going on, do you know what I mean? Like it's
- 5:58Speaker 1: very anxiety inducing. So you don't know what's happening. You
- 6:02Speaker 1: don't know. You know what I mean? Like I'm doing
- 6:03Speaker 1: all these things for the first time. Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 4: But I've always associated you with like the need of
- 6:09Speaker 4: being in control, like how you need to be in control.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 3: With everything.
- 6:14Speaker 4: And if it's not so much anxiety as it is like,
- 6:18Speaker 4: I guess anxiety over.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Not having control.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 3: It's something you don't have control over.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And you know what's so interesting? So I posted on
- 6:23Speaker 1: Instagram that I was like getting this procedure done and
- 6:25Speaker 1: debating whether to take the volume or not. And the,
- 6:29Speaker 1: difference of messages I got from some people being like,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I've gotten that procedure done before. It was the worst
- 6:34Speaker 1: pain of my entire life. Like you have to take
- 6:37Speaker 1: the pill. And then other people being like, it was
- 6:40Speaker 1: totally easy breezy. I was fine. Like you don't need
- 6:42Speaker 1: the pill. And I'm like, it just goes to show
- 6:44Speaker 1: you that everybody's experience and everything is so different. Like
- 6:48Speaker 1: you can't like go online and read reviews because you
- 6:51Speaker 1: have no idea how you're going to react to it.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean? Like it was fine
- 6:54Speaker 1: for me. It but some people say it's like the
- 7:00Speaker 1: worst thing that they've ever experienced. Like even my, the
- 7:03Speaker 1: nurse that was helping me says like, she's, she has
- 7:05Speaker 1: people like scream in the room and stuff. Like you
- 7:07Speaker 1: just have no idea.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Did she tell you that before or after?
- 7:10Speaker 5: No, after.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Whoa, that's intense.
- 7:14Speaker 1: No, definitely after. But it made me realize like everybody's
- 7:17Speaker 1: experience with everything is so different, you know? And same
- 7:20Speaker 1: with like childbirth. Some people have like easy breezy childbirth
- 7:23Speaker 1: and some people have like the most traumatic experiences ever.
- 7:26Speaker 1: So it's just like, You never know what you're going
- 7:28Speaker 1: to get.
- 7:29Speaker 3: It's so true.
- 7:29Speaker 1: So you just got to ride it out. Ride the wave.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Ride the wave and do what's best for you.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I remember someone said that lip filler was not painful
- 7:38Speaker 3: at all. I think it's so painful. It hurts me
- 7:43Speaker 3: so bad. I did it once.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'll never do it again.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Never.
- 7:46Speaker 1: No pain is worth that. Like nothing.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Not me.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I keep going back.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Really?
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's momentary.
- 7:54Speaker 4: But I always think the people who say it's not painful,
- 7:57Speaker 4: I'm like, you're a beast.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Beast.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Congrats.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 3: So, yeah. Okay, shall we do a Dear Banya?
- 8:07Speaker 5: We do have one.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:09Speaker 4: One.
- 8:09Speaker 1: It's getting bleak out there, guys.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Well, there were some issues with emails being routed to
- 8:15Speaker 5: the right places. We think Easton has solved the situation. Okay.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Anyway, this is an anonymous scrub sister who said, Hello, Tanya, Becca, Mark,
- 8:23Speaker 5: and Easton. One of my best friends, who's also a scrubber,
- 8:25Speaker 5: is starting the egg retrieval and transfer process this month
- 8:28Speaker 5: with IVF, sending her all the baby dust and prayers
- 8:31Speaker 5: that her long fertility journey ends with a very happy
- 8:33Speaker 5: ending soon. I know so many scrubbers, including our strong
- 8:36Speaker 5: and resilient Tanya, are in their TTC era, and I
- 8:39Speaker 5: thought it would be fitting to send all of our
- 8:41Speaker 5: fellow scrubbers the most positive thoughts, prayers, and baby dust,
- 8:44Speaker 5: no matter what their journey has looked like. Tanya... Sharing
- 8:47Speaker 5: her journey has made both of us, I'm also TTC,
- 8:50Speaker 5: feel so seen and can relate, sending so much love
- 8:52Speaker 5: and hope to you all. And that being said, how
- 8:54Speaker 5: can friends best support someone in this TTC journey?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Oof.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Made me emotional.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I think the thing that I've realized is, like, unless
- 9:06Speaker 1: you've experienced it, like, you really, really, really, like, can't understand. Even, like, men,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't think, can really understand, like, Robbie's in the
- 9:17Speaker 1: best partner. Like I literally couldn't ask for like anything
- 9:20Speaker 1: better from him. But I really feel like it's like
- 9:22Speaker 1: this feeling that like you can only really relate to
- 9:25Speaker 1: if you've experienced it. And I feel like sometimes people
- 9:32Speaker 1: say things to like try to be there for you.
- 9:34Speaker 1: But it's like a comment that like just stings even more.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So I've just realized like there are a few people
- 9:40Speaker 1: in my life that I can talk to about it
- 9:42Speaker 1: that like just really like listen and like don't really.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's not even about giving opinions. It's just like, you know,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I don't even know. Like just, I'm trying to think
- 9:51Speaker 1: of like a comment that I'm just like, can't you
- 9:54Speaker 1: just get drunk and have sex? You know I mean
- 9:56Speaker 1: like even that like is just like yes I know
- 10:00Speaker 1: that works for some people but like I've been killing
- 10:02Speaker 1: myself for a year you know I mean like of
- 10:04Speaker 1: course I wish I could just get drunk and have
- 10:05Speaker 1: sex like I think that a lot of people try
- 10:09Speaker 1: to like say things to make you feel better and
- 10:11Speaker 1: it just like makes you feel so much worse so
- 10:13Speaker 1: I feel like if you have a friend that's going
- 10:16Speaker 1: through it really just like listen to them and like
- 10:20Speaker 1: check in and like be there but like don't offer
- 10:23Speaker 1: an opinion don't offer advice unless they ask you your
- 10:25Speaker 1: opinion and like ask you for advice and I feel
- 10:28Speaker 1: like that's why you've been like one of the people
- 10:30Speaker 1: that I'm like really only sharing with because you just
- 10:34Speaker 1: you don't I don't know it's like I don't know
- 10:38Speaker 1: it's tough.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Well I think I I I think I even said
- 10:42Speaker 4: something on a podcast about, oh, yeah, you can just,
- 10:44Speaker 4: you know, relax and.
- 10:46Speaker 3: You know, have sex.
- 10:47Speaker 4: And it's like, I think I didn't realize, I think
- 10:50Speaker 4: someone posted on like the Facebook group of me coming
- 10:54Speaker 4: across like dismissive or like insensitive. And I think it
- 10:59Speaker 4: put things into perspective that it's something that I think,
- 11:03Speaker 4: and I've shared with you, like, I'm like, if I
- 11:05Speaker 4: ever say anything that comes across insensitive or dismissive, like,
- 11:09Speaker 4: please tell me because... I feel so far removed from
- 11:12Speaker 4: what you're going through. And you were like, yeah, it's
- 11:16Speaker 4: not something you can get unless you're going through it.
- 11:19Speaker 4: But I also want to be able to be a
- 11:21Speaker 4: good friend and not say things that make it worse
- 11:24Speaker 4: or make it feel heavier.
- 11:26Speaker 1: No, but I remember that because I remember seeing all
- 11:28Speaker 1: that stuff on the Facebook group. And so I was like,
- 11:30Speaker 1: what was it in that podcast? And I think that
- 11:32Speaker 1: it was like, I think I was saying something about
- 11:35Speaker 1: I don't remember exactly, but I got my period or something.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It was like, I was having like a down day
- 11:39Speaker 1: and it was like one of those days or it
- 11:40Speaker 1: was when you came back from seeing Jojo, her baby
- 11:43Speaker 1: and like talking about Brady's first birth. It was like
- 11:45Speaker 1: a lot of baby talk from you. And I think
- 11:47Speaker 1: that people were just like, how could she like, that
- 11:50Speaker 1: was like a really weird, like dynamic. But I'm also like,
- 11:54Speaker 1: that's a season of life that I'm in too. Like
- 11:56Speaker 1: I can't go on social media without somebody in my life,
- 11:59Speaker 1: literally making a pregnancy announcement. Like it's crazy. So it's like,
- 12:04Speaker 1: it's not on you. You have no idea. That's like,
- 12:07Speaker 1: this is your life and that's, it's my life too.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Do you know what I mean?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Like we're just sharing our lives. I don't, and I
- 12:12Speaker 1: never took it as like insensitive or like anything from
- 12:16Speaker 1: you because you, you, there's no way you would be
- 12:18Speaker 1: able to understand. Do you know what I mean? So
- 12:20Speaker 1: it was like, I never took it as you being
- 12:22Speaker 1: dismissive or anything because I just think you're just being yourself.
- 12:27Speaker 1: And I think it's really hard. Yeah. Well, I also,
- 12:30Speaker 1: and that's why I was so hesitant to just like
- 12:32Speaker 1: talk about it because I also feel like it is
- 12:34Speaker 1: so sensitive people listening. Like they might not want, they
- 12:38Speaker 1: might just want a podcast to just like laugh and
- 12:41Speaker 1: like escape from it. Do you know what I mean?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Like that's how it is for me too. Like I
- 12:43Speaker 1: don't want to sit here and talk about all the
- 12:45Speaker 1: shit I'm going through for an hour.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Do you know what I mean?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Cause I want to like escape. And so it's just
- 12:49Speaker 1: like tough, like finding that middle ground.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I was talking to Haley about it and I was like, I'm,
- 12:54Speaker 4: I feel like I'm having, I have a hard time
- 12:57Speaker 4: sometimes knowing if I'm being a good friend to you
- 12:58Speaker 4: or saying the right thing. And She's like, but you
- 13:01Speaker 4: know how to be a good friend to Tanya. Like,
- 13:03Speaker 4: what are the things that make Tanya happy? And so
- 13:05Speaker 4: that's why I was like, oh my gosh, like I
- 13:07Speaker 4: do know what makes Tanya happy. Like, so we should
- 13:10Speaker 4: go get dinner together or I answer her FaceTime calls
- 13:13Speaker 4: and talk to her. You know, it's like, even though
- 13:16Speaker 4: I might not, I don't know if there is a
- 13:18Speaker 4: right thing to say other than just being there and listening.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I think it's like showing up for your friends in
- 13:22Speaker 4: ways that without it needing to be about what you're
- 13:27Speaker 4: going through, but just like showing up how you would
- 13:29Speaker 4: always show up.
- 13:31Speaker 3: And I also think that I was going to.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Ask you too, because, well, specifically for the answering this question,
- 13:38Speaker 4: but you were like saying like, check in on them.
- 13:41Speaker 4: But it's like, if you're having a break from not
- 13:43Speaker 4: thinking about it, I never want to check in and
- 13:46Speaker 4: then put your mind on it again.
- 13:47Speaker 1: So like, I know, I know. It's like, yeah, sometimes
- 13:51Speaker 1: it's tough because you're just like, You're dealing with something
- 13:54Speaker 1: and then you get asked about it and then you
- 13:56Speaker 1: have to relive it. You know what I mean?
- 13:57Speaker 3: So it is.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It's crazy. It's so crazy.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:03Speaker 4: But I would say the way you can show up
- 14:06Speaker 4: for your friend is by being their friend in every
- 14:08Speaker 4: other season of life that you know how to be
- 14:10Speaker 4: their friend. And just being more of a listener and
- 14:13Speaker 4: not giving advice unless you're asked to give an opinion.
- 14:18Speaker 1: But I do ask you for your advice because I
- 14:20Speaker 1: do value your opinion because I do feel like you're so...
- 14:24Speaker 1: neutral about things, um, where I feel like everybody has
- 14:29Speaker 1: like such a strong opinion, like either way. Um, yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: it's tough.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Well, I love you. You're doing great. Highs and lows.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Oh man.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I will say for all intensive purposes, um, I'm not
- 14:49Speaker 1: like always sad. I'm not like, I haven't been sad
- 14:53Speaker 1: all year. I have moments where I get like sad
- 14:56Speaker 1: and emotional, but I think also my baseline is like
- 14:59Speaker 1: so grateful for my life and what I have. And,
- 15:03Speaker 1: and I do have a lot of joy in my life.
- 15:05Speaker 1: So I'm not just like depressed.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I've seen you and talked to you multiple times last week.
- 15:10Speaker 4: And this is the first time I've seen you cry.
- 15:11Speaker 4: So it's not like every time.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Like every time I talk about it, I'm not crying.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Like I, I think I'm like on a pretty, um,
- 15:22Speaker 1: I'm pretty okay. But I do think that I'm also
- 15:27Speaker 1: rare in that sense. I do think that a lot
- 15:29Speaker 1: of people that are on this journey can feel very
- 15:31Speaker 1: like defeated and deflated. And like, I've just gone down
- 15:36Speaker 1: so many rabbit holes of like reading things and like
- 15:39Speaker 1: people that have to quit their jobs because they want
- 15:41Speaker 1: to focus all their energy on trying to conceive. And like,
- 15:44Speaker 1: it's crazy. So yeah, it's crazy. But it's just a blip.
- 15:52Speaker 3: It's a blip and it's also, you.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Know, everyone is on their own journey and navigating it
- 16:01Speaker 4: in a way that works for them.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 4: So that was a really nice email, anonymous scrub sister.
- 16:11Speaker 4: And we're sending you all the baby dust prayers and
- 16:14Speaker 4: positive thoughts.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Definitely.
- 16:17Speaker 3: All right, we're going to get into some games.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Mark, can we do, before Family Feud, can we do
- 16:22Speaker 1: the 10 thing?
- 16:23Speaker 5: Yeah, you got it.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Okay, and we'll be right back.
- 16:28Speaker 2: We're back. We're back.
- 16:47Speaker 5: I have 10 things here, 10 categories.
- 16:50Speaker 1: If there's anything that's going to snap me out of
- 16:51Speaker 1: my crying is games.
- 16:53Speaker 5: You only did four last week before you said the
- 16:56Speaker 5: same thing.
- 16:56Speaker 1: That's so sad.
- 16:57Speaker 5: The goal is to not say the same thing. Does
- 16:59Speaker 5: everyone make sure you don't have it in front of you?
- 17:01Speaker 5: I don't.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I'm just going to throw it.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Yeah, good.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I just have my Dear Banya email.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Here we go. I'll say the category. I'll give you
- 17:08Speaker 5: three seconds. You blurt out the same thing. You have
- 17:10Speaker 5: to blurt something out. By the way, if you don't
- 17:12Speaker 5: blurt anything out, game's over.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Here we go. Do not say the same thing. A
- 17:18Speaker 5: room in the house. Three, two, one.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Dining.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Soda. Three, two, one.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Mountain Dew.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Oh, that was close.
- 17:28Speaker 5: Sitcom. Three, two, one.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Seinfeld.
- 17:30Speaker 5: I've never watched Seinfeld in my life. But dangerous choices there.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Reality show. Three, two, one.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Bachelor.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Board game. Three, two, one.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Twinopoly.
- 17:44Speaker 5: Oh, I had the same one twice. Sorry. I'll fix that.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Breakfast food. Three, two, one.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Bacon.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Sausage.
- 17:53Speaker 3: That was really close. They're all too aligned.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Fast food. Three, two, one.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Burger King.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Is that fast food?
- 18:02Speaker 3: That's so.
- 18:03Speaker 5: Cracker Barrel is really not fast food. I'm not sure
- 18:06Speaker 5: what the rules say about that necessarily.
- 18:08Speaker 3: That can be a debate.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Well, you could have picked one that you know is
- 18:12Speaker 5: fast food. In and out.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Audible. Moving on.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Hair color. Three, two, one.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Brunette.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Season. Three, two, one. Summer. And finally, side of a coin. Three, two, one.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Tails. Tails. Wow.
- 18:38Speaker 1: We had 50-50 on that last one.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Well, that's why I put it last.
- 18:43Speaker 3: But you know what?
- 18:44Speaker 1: What?
- 18:44Speaker 3: I think the scrubbers are going to fight that Cracker Barrel.
- 18:47Speaker 5: I think so. I think Cracker Barrel cost you.
- 18:49Speaker 3: It might be. It might be.
- 18:50Speaker 2: How would I know what Cracker Barrel is? I've never
- 18:54Speaker 2: been to one.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Don't say that. But Becca was.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Talking about it the other day.
- 18:57Speaker 5: I remember it. It was three days ago. I remember
- 18:59Speaker 5: it clearly.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Well, can you come up with 10 more?
- 19:04Speaker 5: We'll play again later.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Later?
- 19:05Speaker 2: No.
- 19:05Speaker 5: Next week.
- 19:06Speaker 3: The pitch, the tone is so high.
- 19:09Speaker 5: If Charlie Puth were here, he could tell us exactly
- 19:11Speaker 5: what that note is.
- 19:12Speaker 4: We almost did it. I think Chipotle, we could have
- 19:15Speaker 4: gotten away with fast food.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll give you that one.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I think Cracker Barrel's a full sit-down restaurant.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Full service restaurant. I'll give you counter service.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Well, give us one more.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Come on.
- 19:25Speaker 5: No, I'm sorry. It's a failure. I'm sorry. We're going
- 19:27Speaker 5: to do it again next week.
- 19:28Speaker 3: But like, Almost so impressive.
- 19:31Speaker 5: I mean, really good. Yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Cracker Barrel's crazy, though. It was on top of my mind.
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's what I go with, what's on the top of
- 19:40Speaker 1: my mind.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Well, that's a good strategy.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I blame you, Mark.
- 19:47Speaker 3: When all else fails, blame Mark.
- 19:50Speaker 5: All right, you want to play the feud?
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yes!
- 19:52Speaker 5: All right, here we go. Playing the feud. All right,
- 19:56Speaker 5: so everyone knows how this game is played. Everybody has
- 19:59Speaker 5: a question. Becca and Tanya buzz in and try to
- 20:02Speaker 5: name the most popular answer. Then they get control of
- 20:04Speaker 5: the board. They get three strikes. For this first one,
- 20:07Speaker 5: I pulled from Ranker. I like to do one that's
- 20:10Speaker 5: specific to you guys, not just a generic family food question.
- 20:14Speaker 5: So I pulled this off of Ranker, and I gave
- 20:15Speaker 5: you the top 12. So there's a lot here. And
- 20:18Speaker 5: you can use that as part of your strategy if
- 20:19Speaker 5: you'd like. Here we go. Our first question, top 12
- 20:22Speaker 5: answers on the board. Here we go. What is, the
- 20:26Speaker 5: Ranker people were asked, what is the greatest romantic comedy
- 20:29Speaker 5: of all time?
- 20:30Speaker 2: Tanya.
- 20:30Speaker 5: Tanya.
- 20:32Speaker 1: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
- 20:33Speaker 5: That is number eight. Seven will beat it. Becca?
- 20:38Speaker 3: I'm going to say When Harry Met Sally.
- 20:40Speaker 5: When Harry Met Sally is number nine.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Oh, dang.
- 20:43Speaker 3: I've never even seen that. I just thought maybe it'd
- 20:45Speaker 3: be up there.
- 20:45Speaker 5: That's a good answer. Tanya controls the board. What do
- 20:47Speaker 5: you think, Tanya? Play or pass?
- 20:48Speaker 1: I'm going to play.
- 20:49Speaker 5: How many do I have to get? You have to
- 20:50Speaker 5: get ten more.
- 20:51Speaker 3: You can do it.
- 20:52Speaker 5: It's a lot.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Come on. You can do this.
- 20:56Speaker 1: The Notebook.
- 20:57Speaker 5: The Notebook? Oh, boy. Not on there.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 21:00Speaker 5: It's not a rom-com. Yeah, it's not really a comedy.
- 21:03Speaker 2: At all.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Say it again. It's a drama.
- 21:05Speaker 5: Romantic comedy. Romantic comedy of all time.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. Well, that would have been nice to
- 21:09Speaker 1: have been made clear.
- 21:10Speaker 5: It was. It was very clear. Again, it's my fault.
- 21:13Speaker 1: The Wedding Planner.
- 21:14Speaker 5: The Wedding Planner. I'm sorry. That's your second strike. Sorry.
- 21:19Speaker 4: No.
- 21:20Speaker 3: That's crazy. That is criminal.
- 21:23Speaker 5: Take it up with Rancor.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Monster-in-law?
- 21:27Speaker 5: Oh, my God. That's a real Hail Mary. No, that's
- 21:31Speaker 5: not on the list. All right, so, Becca, that's your
- 21:33Speaker 5: three strikes. You have ten to choose from here, and
- 21:35Speaker 5: you get the first question if you get any of
- 21:37Speaker 5: these ten.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Pretty Woman?
- 21:39Speaker 5: Pretty Woman's number seven. Very nice. There you go. And
- 21:41Speaker 5: Becca takes the first question. So, to review, here they are,
- 21:44Speaker 5: because you're going to have some issues with some of these,
- 21:46Speaker 5: and that's fine.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:47Speaker 5: But, you know, the goal is to get as many
- 21:48Speaker 5: as you could. Number one, ten things I hate about you.
- 21:50Speaker 3: That's fine. Wait, what?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Oh, she won that? Yeah.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Because I just had to guess one higher than the
- 21:57Speaker 4: one you guessed.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Number two is The Princess Bride, which I don't know.
- 22:01Speaker 5: I question that being included. But number three, Clueless, which again,
- 22:05Speaker 5: I don't think of that as a romantic comedy necessarily.
- 22:08Speaker 1: The Notebook didn't make it?
- 22:09Speaker 3: Well, that's not a comedy. There's no two different genres.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Number four, Legally Blonde.
- 22:17Speaker 1: These are not a rom.
- 22:19Speaker 5: How about The Proposal?
- 22:21Speaker 3: Yes. Great romantic comedy.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Princess Diaries?
- 22:23Speaker 1: No.
- 22:24Speaker 2: No.
- 22:25Speaker 5: How about While You Were Sleeping? That's a good one.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I've never seen it.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you should watch that.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Sandra Bullock, you'd like that one. You've Got Mail, that's
- 22:32Speaker 5: a classic.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Classic.
- 22:33Speaker 5: And Sleepless in Seattle. And really the reason I went
- 22:35Speaker 5: to 12 is because I felt some of those top
- 22:36Speaker 5: ones were not going to be guests, so I gave
- 22:38Speaker 5: you a couple that I thought might be. Anyway, that's
- 22:40Speaker 5: a point for Becca.
- 22:41Speaker 3: I was going to do Sleepless in Seattle.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I wasn't going to do any of those.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Well, Wedding Planner should be on the list for sure.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Question number two. Top eight answers on the board. Here's
- 22:52Speaker 5: the question. Name an occasion for which you might wear
- 22:56Speaker 5: your lucky underwear.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Becca.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Becca.
- 23:02Speaker 3: First date.
- 23:02Speaker 5: First date is the number one answer. You may play
- 23:05Speaker 5: or pass. Pass. Interesting strategy. Tanya, we go to you.
- 23:09Speaker 5: There are seven up here. An occasion for which you
- 23:11Speaker 5: might wear your lucky underwear.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Game day.
- 23:14Speaker 5: A sporting event is up there.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Very nice. That's number four.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Buying a lottery ticket.
- 23:22Speaker 5: I'm going to give you gambling. Gambling is up there
- 23:25Speaker 5: at number three. So that's a little bit of a stretch,
- 23:27Speaker 5: but I'll take it.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to the gyno.
- 23:33Speaker 5: It's not up there. I'm sorry.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to my wedding.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Wedding night is up there. Very nice. Good job. Okay.
- 23:47Speaker 5: You're on a roll here. You have four of the eight.
- 23:49Speaker 5: You're halfway home. Four more. One strike, you got two
- 23:52Speaker 5: to burn.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to a concert.
- 23:57Speaker 5: I'm sorry, no. That's the second strike. One more strike.
- 24:00Speaker 5: By the way, I think all of these are legitimate answers,
- 24:03Speaker 5: as opposed to the last question. I think you'll agree.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Where are you going to wear your lucky underwear? The
- 24:07Speaker 5: number two answer is still up there, as well as six, seven,
- 24:09Speaker 5: and eight.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to a job audition,
- 24:14Speaker 1: job interview.
- 24:15Speaker 5: Job interview is the number two answer. Very nice. Here
- 24:19Speaker 5: we go. Three more.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I'm going to wear my lucky underwear to my.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Three seconds.
- 24:32Speaker 3: To my in-laws.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Oh, in-laws.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Okay. No, that is not up there. All right, Becca,
- 24:41Speaker 5: you can steal, but it's the bottom three. So it's
- 24:43Speaker 5: a tough guess here. You got three up there. What
- 24:45Speaker 5: do you think? For a commanding lead in this game.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Okay, so if I'm wearing my lucky underwear, I would
- 24:52Speaker 4: say like on a flight, on a plane.
- 24:56Speaker 5: I'm sorry, no. Tanya takes that one. Here are the
- 24:58Speaker 5: final three. Your anniversary.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Oh.
- 25:02Speaker 5: Valentine's Day. Oh, duh. And an exam, like a final
- 25:07Speaker 5: exam in school. Never. Never would do that?
- 25:09Speaker 1: Never would do that.
- 25:09Speaker 5: That's for luck. Lucky underwear. All right. No, that was
- 25:12Speaker 5: not rancor.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Oh.
- 25:16Speaker 2: All right.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Question number three. This is anyone's game. Here we go.
- 25:21Speaker 5: Buzz in with your name. Top six answers on the board.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Here's the question. For the months of October. Name something
- 25:28Speaker 5: that might make you suspect your new house is haunted.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Becca.
- 25:33Speaker 5: Becca Tilly.
- 25:36Speaker 3: I would say weird sounds.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Noises and voices is the number one answer. Very nice.
- 25:41Speaker 5: But keep that in mind. Noises and voices are taken.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Don't guess voices. Would you like to play or pass, Becca?
- 25:46Speaker 3: I'm going to pass.
- 25:47Speaker 5: I'm going to pass that one over to Tanya. You
- 25:49Speaker 5: got five answers up there. Three strikes. What do you think, Tanya?
- 25:53Speaker 5: What would make you think your house is haunted? Ghosts.
- 25:55Speaker 5: Ghosts is the number five answer. Very nice.
- 25:57Speaker 3: That's all I got.
- 25:59Speaker 5: Keep it going. You can do this. Shadows. Shadows is
- 26:04Speaker 5: not up there. Nope. That's one strike.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Cold air.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Cold air is a very good guess. It is not
- 26:10Speaker 5: on there. No. Two strikes.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Cold air is a very good guess.
- 26:14Speaker 4: It is.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Thank you, Mark.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Um, flickering lights.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Flickering lights is number three. Very good. That is up there.
- 26:21Speaker 1: If I were the weekend, I would say flashing lights.
- 26:23Speaker 5: Uh-huh. Sure. Isn't that Kanye? Yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Uh, okay. Um, what would make me think my house
- 26:36Speaker 1: is haunted? Um, Tombstone's in my backyard.
- 26:40Speaker 5: No, I'm sorry. That's not it. And that is your
- 26:42Speaker 5: third strike. We go over to Becca. You may steal
- 26:45Speaker 5: number two, number four, number six are up there. All
- 26:47Speaker 5: you need is one of them. Oh, I have one.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Oh.
- 26:51Speaker 5: Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm. See, the idea is you're supposed to be ready
- 26:56Speaker 5: for this, because while Tanya was guessing, you had yours ready.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Mine was flickering.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Lights, and she guessed it. I'm sorry. Here we go.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Three seconds. I need an answer.
- 27:03Speaker 3: I'm going to say electricity going in and out.
- 27:06Speaker 5: I'm sorry. No, Tanya takes that one. Is Black Cat
- 27:09Speaker 5: one of them? No, that's not up there. Objects moving
- 27:11Speaker 5: by themselves.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Well, okay.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Is that not noises and voices?
- 27:15Speaker 5: No, it's neither of those things.
- 27:16Speaker 1: That's objects moving by themselves.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Doors opening and closing.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 5: And weird odors.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Oh.
- 27:22Speaker 1: That could be a cold breeze.
- 27:24Speaker 5: No, it's not. But hey, Tanya's got two. Becca's got one. Tanya,
- 27:29Speaker 5: you can win the whole thing.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's what it sounds like.
- 27:32Speaker 5: If you get this one. Question number four. Name something
- 27:36Speaker 5: that grows faster than you want it to. Tanya. Tanya.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Ear hair.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Hair is the number one answer.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Pure hair.
- 27:43Speaker 5: But also keep in mind that this encompasses all body hair.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Okay, that's crazy because I was about to go to nipple.
- 27:50Speaker 3: I was about to go all over the body.
- 27:53Speaker 2: You're going niche. Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Toe.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Nope.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Hair is taken. Damn.
- 27:57Speaker 3: How many are there?
- 27:58Speaker 5: Six answers. Five more to go.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Repeat the question one more time.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Name something that grows faster than you want it to. Tanya,
- 28:04Speaker 5: you can play or pass here.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I'm going to play. Okay.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Weeds.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Weeds is the number two answer. Very good.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Lawn.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Weeds.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Repeat the question one more time.
- 28:12Speaker 5: Name something that grows faster than you want it to.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Nails.
- 28:16Speaker 5: Your nails are the number five answer. Very nice. Four more.
- 28:19Speaker 1: One more time.
- 28:20Speaker 5: Name something that grows faster than you want it to. Children.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Children is number three. Look at you go. You're on
- 28:26Speaker 5: a roll. You have all three strikes left.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I can feel it. I can taste it.
- 28:30Speaker 5: Two more answers up there. Three strikes.
- 28:33Speaker 1: It's helping me when you repeat it.
- 28:35Speaker 5: One more time. Name something that grows faster than you
- 28:37Speaker 5: want it to.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Dogs?
- 28:46Speaker 5: Sorry, no. Not up there.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I know.
- 28:51Speaker 1: I would say eyebrows, but that's hair.
- 28:52Speaker 5: That was body hair, yes. In fact, they specifically had
- 28:55Speaker 5: unibrow as hair slash unibrow.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Wow.
- 28:59Speaker 5: Okay.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Grows faster than you want it to.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Here, let's try this. Name something that grows faster than
- 29:04Speaker 5: you want it to.
- 29:09Speaker 4: Moss.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Oh, I'm sorry. No, that's two strikes. You got to
- 29:13Speaker 5: get this one or Becca has a chance to steal.
- 29:15Speaker 5: So be ready over there.
- 29:16Speaker 3: No, I know, but I got nothing.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Faster than you. El Nino?
- 29:21Speaker 5: No, it's not any kind of a weather event.
- 29:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Here we go, Becca. For the steal and to stay
- 29:26Speaker 5: in this game. If you do not get one of
- 29:28Speaker 5: these final answers, Tanya is your winner.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Of Family Feud. You might be.
- 29:32Speaker 5: A winner today. Here we go.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Mold?
- 29:33Speaker 3: No, let me give it.
- 29:34Speaker 5: To you again. Name something that grows faster than you
- 29:37Speaker 5: want it to.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Mold.
- 29:38Speaker 5: Your answer is mold. If mold is up there, we
- 29:41Speaker 5: play a fifth and deciding question. If mold is not
- 29:45Speaker 5: up there, Tanya is your champion.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Show me mold! Tanya wins!
- 29:55Speaker 1: I'd like to thank myself and myself.
- 30:00Speaker 5: I have to say the last two are tough.
- 30:02Speaker 3: What are they?
- 30:03Speaker 5: Your waistline.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I was going to say your body.
- 30:05Speaker 5: That would have worked, huh? That would have worked. Debt
- 30:08Speaker 5: or expenses? I'm shocked Moss wasn't on there. Those aren't
- 30:13Speaker 5: bad answers, but it's thinking outside the box a bit.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Good job, Tanya.
- 30:16Speaker 5: Good job, Tanya. You are the champion.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Weekend feeling absolutely on top.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Unbreakable.
- 30:24Speaker 5: Unbreakable. Unstoppable. Yeah.
- 30:26Speaker 4: All right.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Do you want to go for 200 points and $ 20, 000? Yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 5: we have to.
- 30:30Speaker 3: We did so bad last time.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Who needs to leave? I guess Tanya leaves the room.
- 30:33Speaker 3: No, I think I have to leave.
- 30:34Speaker 5: Okay, then you leave the room because Tanya's the champion.
- 30:36Speaker 5: She'll go first.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I did so bad last time.
- 30:39Speaker 5: Also, don't forget, we have to talk about the Grey's
- 30:41Speaker 5: Anatomy pilot in this episode of Scrubbing In. All right.
- 30:47Speaker 5: Waiting for that big old soundproof door to shut. Here
- 30:50Speaker 5: we go. Tanya, you have 20 seconds on the clock.
- 30:52Speaker 5: I don't have Easton here, so I'm going to use
- 30:54Speaker 5: my handy dandy iPhone timer.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:57Speaker 5: Here we go. Let's go. Going for 20 seconds on
- 31:01Speaker 5: the clock, please. Thank you. That's minutes. That would not
- 31:04Speaker 5: be good.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Ding.
- 31:04Speaker 5: 20 seconds starting now.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 31:08Speaker 5: When I finish the first question. Name something you find
- 31:10Speaker 5: in a breakfast buffet. Eggs. Name a common candy bar component. Chocolate.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Name a type of insurance.
- 31:19Speaker 1: House.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Other than letters, something people get in the mail.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Invites. Invitations.
- 31:26Speaker 5: Name something that has to be licked.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Envelope.
- 31:29Speaker 5: All right. Thank you. Plenty of time left on the clock.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Woo-hoo! That felt good.
- 31:33Speaker 5: There it is right there.
- 31:34Speaker 3: That felt strong.
- 31:35Speaker 5: All right, let's see how you did here. Before you
- 31:38Speaker 5: go get her, don't go get her yet.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Sorry, sorry, sorry.
- 31:40Speaker 5: We asked, name something you find in a breakfast buffet.
- 31:42Speaker 5: You said eggs. Eggs was the number one answer.
- 31:46Speaker 1: 25.
- 31:47Speaker 5: 25 points for eggs. Name a common candy bar component
- 31:50Speaker 5: or ingredient. You said chocolate. That is the number one answer.
- 31:55Speaker 2: 36.
- 31:55Speaker 5: Name a type of insurance. You said homeowner's insurance. That
- 32:00Speaker 5: gives you 10 points. Other than letters, name something you
- 32:03Speaker 5: get in the mail. You said invitations, and that gets
- 32:06Speaker 5: you nothing.
- 32:07Speaker 1: What?
- 32:09Speaker 5: Name something that has to be licked. You said an envelope.
- 32:12Speaker 5: That gets you nine points for a grand total of 1934.
- 32:17Speaker 5: That is 70 points.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Out of 200?
- 32:19Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. You want to try to get half. You
- 32:22Speaker 5: came up a little short on that. We're going to
- 32:23Speaker 5: try to get 200 with Becca. Let's see how she does.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 32:27Speaker 5: I am shook. Come on back in.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I'm actually shook.
- 32:31Speaker 5: I thought I'd... She did okay. She got 70. 70
- 32:35Speaker 5: is not terrible, not great.
- 32:37Speaker 2: No, but I did amazing. I got two of the
- 32:39Speaker 2: number one answers.
- 32:40Speaker 5: Well, let's see how Becker does. She needs to get
- 32:41Speaker 5: 130 points.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yes, which I'm shook by.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I know, and that's happened to me, and I'm nervous.
- 32:47Speaker 3: My brain's not firing off today.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Here we go. I'll put 25 seconds on the clock
- 32:51Speaker 5: this time.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Okay.
- 32:52Speaker 5: Let's see how we do. I'll ask you the same
- 32:55Speaker 5: question to ask Tanya. You may not duplicate your answer.
- 32:57Speaker 5: If you do hear this, I'll say try again. You
- 32:58Speaker 5: find me another answer, okay? Here we go. Name something
- 33:01Speaker 5: you find in a breakfast buffet.
- 33:04Speaker 4: Fruit.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Name a common candy bar ingredient.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Peanuts.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Name a type of insurance.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Car.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Excellent.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Other than letters, name something people get in the mail.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Bills.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Excellent.
- 33:21Speaker 5: Name something that has to be licked.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Sucker.
- 33:26Speaker 5: Lollipop. All right. There we go. Plenty of time. There's
- 33:28Speaker 5: the time right there. All right, here we go.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I feel strong about these.
- 33:32Speaker 5: Name something you find at a breakfast buffet. You said fruit.
- 33:36Speaker 5: Our survey said two. Yeah, fruit was crazy. Eggs was
- 33:41Speaker 5: the number one answer. Which I got. Actually, number two
- 33:44Speaker 5: is melon, but I'm giving you fruit on that one.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Name a common candy bar component. You said peanuts. Our
- 33:50Speaker 5: survey said 22. Okay, not bad. We're over, no, we're
- 33:54Speaker 5: at 96. Name a type of insurance. You said car.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Our survey said number one answer, 28 points. We're at 124.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Other than letters, something people get in the mail. You
- 34:09Speaker 5: said bills. And our survey said 17. That puts you
- 34:15Speaker 5: at 141. Junk mail was the number one answer.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Oh, my.
- 34:18Speaker 1: People are so negative.
- 34:19Speaker 5: Junk mail. Name something that has to be licked. You
- 34:24Speaker 5: said lollipop or sucker. That was the number one answer.
- 34:28Speaker 5: But you need 59 points for $ 20, 000. Our survey said 33.
- 34:33Speaker 5: I'm sorry. We come up short again.
- 34:39Speaker 2: $ 174.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Wait, what did you get zero on?
- 34:42Speaker 5: She said invitations you get in the mail. Yeah, it
- 34:45Speaker 5: wasn't on there. That was it. That was her only zero. Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 3: That's okay. We got closer than last week.
- 34:50Speaker 1: And then I said house insurance, which was low on there.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And then I said lick an envelope.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I was going to say envelope.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 5: It's low.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Number one.
- 35:00Speaker 3: All right.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Well.
- 35:00Speaker 5: All right. Good times, Tony.
- 35:01Speaker 3: We'll try again next time.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Congrats on the win.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 35:04Speaker 5: Your recap of the Grey's Pilot.
- 35:06Speaker 3: When we come back?
- 35:07Speaker 1: Next, yes.
- 35:24Speaker 4: We're back.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Wow.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that was beautiful.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Okay, so we are re-watching Grey's Anatomy from the beginning.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Are we going to do this every week, you think?
- 35:36Speaker 3: It's hard to say.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Do we want to? Let's start there.
- 35:40Speaker 3: We'll get the reviews if people like it or not. Oh, okay.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Fair.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Facts. They might be like, we don't care, which is fine.
- 35:47Speaker 3: What were your initial thoughts?
- 35:48Speaker 4: Because you said you got an opinion that you had
- 35:52Speaker 4: never gotten before.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Yes. So I watched it with Robbie because I'm like
- 35:57Speaker 1: trying to get him sucked in. He was not excited
- 36:00Speaker 1: about it. But whatever. Besides the point. I was watching
- 36:03Speaker 1: the episode and I found myself having PTSD from my surgery.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Like I was watching it feeling way more anxious during
- 36:14Speaker 1: like the surgery scenes. Then I've never felt anything like
- 36:18Speaker 1: that watching Grey's Anatomy. And I was like.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Felt more sensitive.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Very sensitive about it.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Might not be good to do this.
- 36:27Speaker 1: My surgery was nothing compared to like the girl with
- 36:29Speaker 1: the brain surgery. And then the guy had like a heart.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I mean, these were like very intense surgeries. Mine was
- 36:34Speaker 1: like very not that. But I found myself getting very
- 36:38Speaker 1: anxious during those scenes.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Well, pay attention to that feeling because this is not
- 36:42Speaker 3: something we have to do. We don't need to. It
- 36:44Speaker 3: wasn't like.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I watched the whole thing. Yeah, but it gets way.
- 36:47Speaker 3: More intense as the show goes on.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Does it, though? Yeah.
- 36:51Speaker 5: It does?
- 36:51Speaker 4: But I will say I forgot how they jump so
- 36:54Speaker 4: right into the surgical storylines and everything.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Because in my mind, I always thought.
- 37:00Speaker 4: They were just setting up who the interns were and
- 37:02Speaker 4: them getting there and Meredith being... you know, medical royalty
- 37:07Speaker 4: and them talking about her mom being Ellis and how
- 37:09Speaker 4: that reveal is at the end.
- 37:11Speaker 3: But I forgot that.
- 37:11Speaker 4: It opens up with Derek and Meredith waking up after
- 37:15Speaker 4: having a one night stand.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it was good.
- 37:17Speaker 4: And he pursued her from day one. As soon as
- 37:19Speaker 4: he saw her, he was like, I want, I want
- 37:23Speaker 4: to you.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Do you know what part made me sad though?
- 37:26Speaker 2: What?
- 37:27Speaker 1: You know how like Christina and Meredith say, Meredith says, hey,
- 37:30Speaker 1: do you want to team up to work on this
- 37:32Speaker 1: case together? If we get it, the surgery is all yours.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I don't want it. Right. And then when Derek gives
- 37:38Speaker 1: her the scrub in and she just takes it, I
- 37:41Speaker 1: wish she would have said, no, we made an agreement.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Christina would like she I wish she would have like
- 37:46Speaker 1: said something there.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's a very I think we see
- 37:50Speaker 3: that because.
- 37:53Speaker 4: We're not in that environment, but I think in a
- 37:55Speaker 4: surgical environment with the, your head boss, basically saying like,
- 38:01Speaker 4: I'm choosing you for you to be like, actually, no,
- 38:04Speaker 4: I made a pact with my new best friend that
- 38:07Speaker 4: I'm not going to take the surgery is not realistic.
- 38:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:11Speaker 1: She said like that was Christina's whole intensive purposes to,
- 38:16Speaker 1: to partner with Meredith. She said, I, if we get it,
- 38:19Speaker 1: I get.
- 38:19Speaker 3: To scrub in.
- 38:20Speaker 4: I know, but I don't think Meredith had the authority
- 38:22Speaker 4: to make that decision, to make that promise.
- 38:25Speaker 1: But she didn't even try.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Well.
- 38:27Speaker 1: That's where she lost me.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know what? They worked through it, as
- 38:30Speaker 3: we know.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Barely.
- 38:31Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 38:33Speaker 1: That little scene where she's like, this is where we say.
- 38:35Speaker 3: No, but they become best... I'm saying eventually they become
- 38:37Speaker 3: best friends.
- 38:38Speaker 4: But I think it was just kind of a hard
- 38:39Speaker 4: lesson of being like, the loyalty is nigh in these
- 38:44Speaker 4: cutthroat days of being an intern.
- 38:46Speaker 3: And I also, when George.
- 38:49Speaker 4: I get so much anxiety from George because he's just
- 38:51Speaker 4: anxious and not.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Great at the beginning. Like I'd be so nervous if
- 38:58Speaker 3: he walked in to do my surgery.
- 39:00Speaker 1: That's another thing I was thinking about. Like I was like,
- 39:03Speaker 1: oh my gosh, if George O'Malley was one of the
- 39:05Speaker 1: surgeons that was working on me, I would have not
- 39:09Speaker 1: been okay.
- 39:10Speaker 4: I just, it made me miss it so much. It
- 39:13Speaker 4: made me just miss what Grey's was. And I understand
- 39:16Speaker 4: that after however many, 22 seasons, you can't keep the
- 39:20Speaker 4: magic of something. But I was like, gosh, this show, every,
- 39:25Speaker 4: like Meredith going to work and seeing Derek after they
- 39:28Speaker 4: had just slept together and realizing he's her superior and
- 39:30Speaker 4: then the whole time they're talking about Ellis Gray and
- 39:33Speaker 4: Meredith being like having the advantage and all these things
- 39:36Speaker 4: happening that certainly make it look like she has an
- 39:39Speaker 4: advantage and then at the end seeing that her mom
- 39:42Speaker 4: is in a home so good it was so good
- 39:45Speaker 4: but yeah I I'm down to keep watching it I
- 39:48Speaker 4: I I love it. And I can see Haley said
- 39:52Speaker 4: she actually used to watch it on the early season.
- 39:54Speaker 4: So I don't think it'll be. I got to get
- 39:57Speaker 4: her off the reality TV train.
- 39:59Speaker 1: It's tough to get off the reality TV train. Let
- 40:01Speaker 1: me tell you, there's two seasons of Traders back to back.
- 40:05Speaker 1: There's USA going and there's a UK version that's about
- 40:08Speaker 1: to hit the US of A.
- 40:10Speaker 3: It's so much.
- 40:13Speaker 4: So, yeah, we can continue to do that if we want.
- 40:14Speaker 4: But what do you think the special forces is? Are
- 40:18Speaker 4: you watching it?
- 40:19Speaker 1: I think so. Ruby, well, a bunch.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Of people went home. Spoiler alert. So many people went home,
- 40:26Speaker 3: and that one football player who didn't want to poop
- 40:28Speaker 3: in front of everybody, I'm like, come on.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Literally, same. I was like, this man doesn't want to
- 40:33Speaker 1: poop in front of people, so he leaves. Yeah. He's
- 40:37Speaker 1: a football player.
- 40:38Speaker 3: And even if that was just the excuse, what a
- 40:40Speaker 3: horrible excuse.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Somebody wrote in our Facebook group, though, to give us
- 40:43Speaker 1: like a little bit of like intel on the show.
- 40:47Speaker 1: And apparently they give you the money up front to
- 40:50Speaker 1: be on the show. So you get the same amount
- 40:52Speaker 1: if you last two hours or 21 days.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Oh, so it's totally based off of your celebrity, though.
- 40:59Speaker 5: No, it's.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Yeah, because it ranges from $ 100, 000 to $ 500, 000.
- 41:02Speaker 1: But you get what you get just for being on
- 41:04Speaker 1: the show. So it's a true character.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Do you know what I mean?
- 41:08Speaker 1: Because you're going to get... Hello? You can just go
- 41:12Speaker 1: collect your paycheck and then leave after two hours and
- 41:15Speaker 1: be like, goodbye or you can have that like character
- 41:19Speaker 1: and like want to see it through you.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Know yeah the grit of completing it the grit i
- 41:23Speaker 4: know i'd.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Be out after i think i could last five hours.
- 41:26Speaker 4: I think you undersell yourself so much in this situation
- 41:30Speaker 4: i think you could i think you can make it
- 41:32Speaker 4: to the end robbie.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Agreed with me because of the uti situation He was like,
- 41:37Speaker 1: you would need to be changing your pants every hour
- 41:40Speaker 1: on that show.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Do you think I could do it?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Yeah, 100%.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Haley thinks the sleep thing would.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Yeah, sleeping in a room with all those people and
- 41:51Speaker 1: like they're snoring and noises. But don't you like to
- 41:56Speaker 1: fall asleep to sound? Don't you put like a noise
- 41:57Speaker 1: machine on?
- 41:58Speaker 3: Not someone rattling and snoring.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I think you'd get used to it.
- 42:03Speaker 3: I don't know. I'd do it. I'd do it just
- 42:07Speaker 3: to see for, like, the challenge, but.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Please, somebody from Special Forces, cast Becca Tilly on the
- 42:13Speaker 1: next season, because I do think you would make it
- 42:15Speaker 1: to the end. Out of sheer tenacity.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I imagine that takes over, but I also
- 42:21Speaker 4: think when your body's pushed to, like, a physical limit,
- 42:24Speaker 4: there is... If you're not mentally strong and don't have
- 42:27Speaker 4: that mentality of, like, I'm going to get through this,
- 42:29Speaker 4: I think the physical part will make you just go,
- 42:32Speaker 4: I can't.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:33Speaker 4: Like Oliver Hudson was just standing there like projectile vomiting
- 42:37Speaker 4: because they said don't bend over.
- 42:39Speaker 3: I was like, that's so scary.
- 42:42Speaker 5: So scary.
- 42:42Speaker 4: And I also feel like I'd get the giggles trying
- 42:44Speaker 4: to be serious in front of the staff and it would.
- 42:46Speaker 5: Just be bad.
- 42:46Speaker 3: I don't think you would get the giggles.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I think you would like lock in.
- 42:48Speaker 3: I don't know. But anyways, stay tuned for that if
- 42:53Speaker 3: it ever happens.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I would do it with you if they let me
- 42:56Speaker 1: change my underwear.
- 42:58Speaker 4: You just have to do it. Like as soon as
- 43:01Speaker 4: you get back, go into your little Toilet.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Toilet.
- 43:04Speaker 4: But anyways, that's all for now.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Don't worry, though.
- 43:11Speaker 1: We'll be back next week.
