- 0:59Speaker 4: God explains that judgment is coming because his people they
- 1:05Speaker 4: continually refuse correction. Do you know somebody like that? Have

- 1:14Speaker 4: listen to what's good for you? Right, you don't want
- 1:17Speaker 4: to listen to wisdom, you don't want to listen to correction.
- 1:20Speaker 4: You're stubborn, hard headed. That is not a good place
- 1:24Speaker 4: to be if we're going to see why you're in
- 1:27Speaker 4: the scriptures. And he compares the nation to silver being
- 1:32Speaker 4: refined in the furnace. The problem wasn't the refiner, The
- 1:38Speaker 4: problem was the metal. Despite God's attempts to purify his people,
- 1:46Speaker 4: they continually rejecting him. And that is completely heartbreaking. So

- 4:14Speaker 4: dig into your word. We ask Father God, Oh Lord,
- 4:16Speaker 4: that you will just bless this podcast. Bless this episode.
- 4:21Speaker 4: We ask go God, that it will go out to
- 4:22Speaker 4: every ear, Oh God. We asked that you put it
- 4:26Speaker 4: in prominent places, Oh God, Lord, so every link will
- 4:29Speaker 4: be clicked, Oh God, that people will Father God, begin
- 4:32Speaker 4: to be refined and refreshed in the fire, O God,
- 4:36Speaker 4: that revival will break out, Father God, just from this
- 4:39Speaker 4: podcast alone, Lord God, Oh Lord, that people will get
- 4:43Speaker 4: the uncorrupted word of God on this platform. Father, we
- 4:51Speaker 4: asked this in Jesus' name. Hey man, all right, well
- 4:58Speaker 4: let's dive into it. I'm gonna come at you from
- 5:01Speaker 4: the new King James Jeremiah, chapter six, and we're picking
- 5:05Speaker 4: it up in verse twenty one today. Therefore, thus says
- 5:10Speaker 4: the Lord, Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people,
- 5:17Speaker 4: and the fathers and the sons together shall fall on them.
- 5:22Speaker 4: The neighbor and the friend shall perish. All right, let's
- 5:29Speaker 4: break that down. Now, here's another warning from God that
- 5:34Speaker 4: judgment will be unavoidable. Now, the people, they've been ignoring
- 5:41Speaker 4: God's warning, hoping that it'll just go away. You know,
- 5:46Speaker 4: we cannot ignore our problems. We cannot put our heads
- 5:50Speaker 4: in this sand and think that it'll take care of itself. No,
- 5:57Speaker 4: they were experiencing the consequence of their own rebellion, and
- 6:03Speaker 4: they didn't want to take keed to any other warnings. Now,
- 6:08Speaker 4: God's judgment is never arbitrary. Let me say that again.
- 6:16Speaker 4: God's judgment is never arborituary. It follows repeated opportunities for
- 6:23Speaker 4: repentance that have been rejected. God is so gracious he
- 6:29Speaker 4: gives people opportunity after opportunity. A man, God is patient,
- 6:38Speaker 4: but patience should never be mistaken for permission. God gives
- 6:46Speaker 4: people opportunities to turn back when those opportunities are continuously rejected,
- 6:54Speaker 4: consequences will arrive, consequences will be unavailable.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Another one.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Just examine our hearts in our minds. What has God
- 7:10Speaker 4: been warning us about in our own life? Has God
- 7:15Speaker 4: been telling us to turn away from sin, get away
- 7:18Speaker 4: from that relationship, stop doing those drugs, that alcohol, stop
- 7:24Speaker 4: going to those places, and do we ignore the voice
- 7:31Speaker 4: of God? Twenty two and twenty three, Thus says a Lord. Behold,
- 7:38Speaker 4: if people come, if people comes from the north country,
- 7:44Speaker 4: and a great nation will will be raised from the
- 7:49Speaker 4: furthest parts of the earth. They will lay hold on
- 7:55Speaker 4: bow and spear. They are cruel and have no mercy.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Their voice roars like the sea, and they ride on
- 8:09Speaker 4: horses as men of war set in array against you,
- 8:16Speaker 4: old daughter of Zion. Wow, look at how God described
- 8:26Speaker 4: this army that's coming against his people. And once again
- 8:32Speaker 4: he identifies the Babylonian army as the instrument of his
- 8:38Speaker 4: very own judgment. Their arrival would be terrifying to the
- 8:45Speaker 4: people of Israel. The invasion will not be stopped. There
- 8:51Speaker 4: will be no remedy for this. God often used nations
- 8:57Speaker 4: as instruments of this plan throughout Israel's history. If you
- 9:04Speaker 4: read the Book of judges. You will see this pattern
- 9:06Speaker 4: time and time again. Now, the Babylonians were part of
- 9:11Speaker 4: God's prophetic plan, right, It was prophetic that God will
- 9:18Speaker 4: use this nation. Now, sometimes God allows difficult circumstances to
- 9:23Speaker 4: get our attention, not because he hates us, but because
- 9:29Speaker 4: He loves us enough to confront what is destroying our lives. Amen,
- 9:39Speaker 4: all right, twenty five and twenty six, we have heard
- 9:45Speaker 4: the report of it. Our hands grow feeble, Anguish has
- 9:51Speaker 4: taken hold of us, pain as of a woman in labor.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Do not go out into the field, nor walk by
- 10:01Speaker 4: the way, because the sword of the enemy, fear is
- 10:06Speaker 4: on every side, Old daughter of my people, dressed in
- 10:12Speaker 4: sackle off and roll about in ashes, make mourning as
- 10:19Speaker 4: for mourning as for an only son. Most bitter limitations
- 10:28Speaker 4: for the plunderer will suddenly come upon you. Wow, let's
- 10:36Speaker 4: break that down. Now. The people finally began to understand
- 10:41Speaker 4: the seriousness of the coming judgment. They're finally getting ready.
- 10:47Speaker 4: They're finally getting it. Then fear and mourning spread throughout
- 10:54Speaker 4: the land. So check this out. The false prophets or
- 11:00Speaker 4: prophesying all this time that they would have peace, and
- 11:05Speaker 4: that they don't have to fear judgment. Now they understand
- 11:09Speaker 4: judgment is coming. Many people ignore God's warning until consequences
- 11:19Speaker 4: become unavoidable, at the point now where they cannot avoid
- 11:28Speaker 4: what's gonna happen to them. Now, family, don't wait for
- 11:33Speaker 4: disaster before turning too God. You know that's just some
- 11:37Speaker 4: wisdom right there. Let me give y'all some wisdom. Do
- 11:40Speaker 4: not wait for disaster before you try to turn to God.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Don't wait for the crisis to show up. Don't wait
- 11:51Speaker 4: until everything else falls apart. God is calling people to
- 11:59Speaker 4: rep pentance even right now. You can get it right
- 12:03Speaker 4: before the judgment hits. We can get right. We know
- 12:09Speaker 4: what's coming upon the United States of America. We know
- 12:15Speaker 4: what is going to come up on our land if
- 12:17Speaker 4: the United States does not turn. Now's the time to repent.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Now's the time to turn to God. Don't wait until
- 12:29Speaker 4: it's too late. Amen, alright, Verse twenty seven. I have
- 12:38Speaker 4: set you as an assure and a fortress among my people,
- 12:49Speaker 4: that you might know and test their way. Now you're
- 12:55Speaker 4: speaking to Jeremiah right here. God tells Jeremiah that that
- 13:00Speaker 4: he has been appointed to elevate the spiritual condition of
- 13:05Speaker 4: the people like a metal expert testing silver and gold.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Jeremiah would reveal what was truly inside the nation he
- 13:27Speaker 4: is examining, and he is evaluating the spiritual condition of Israel. Now,
- 13:39Speaker 4: God's profits expose spiritual reality rather than merely speaking popular messages.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 13:48Speaker 4: The prophets are to expose what's going on spiritually. The
- 13:58Speaker 4: prophets are supposed to be the watch right, They're supposed
- 14:02Speaker 4: to sound the alarm. God's word functions the same way today.
- 14:10Speaker 4: The Bible reveals what's truly in our hearts. That's why
- 14:16Speaker 4: we got to continuously staying in the word of God.
- 14:22Speaker 4: The Bible exposes motives, attitudes, and hidden sin in our lives.
- 14:30Speaker 4: And many nine. They are all stubborn rebels, walking as slanderers.
- 14:42Speaker 4: They are bronze and iron. They are all corruptors. The
- 14:50Speaker 4: bellows blow fiercely, the lead is consumed by the fire.
- 15:00Speaker 4: The smelter refines in vain, for the wicked are not
- 15:08Speaker 4: drawn off. All right, let's see what what is he
- 15:13Speaker 4: talking about here? See, God uses this image of metal,
- 15:21Speaker 4: and we know that metal has to be refined. Right,
- 15:27Speaker 4: there's a refinement process when you're working with metal. Normally,
- 15:33Speaker 4: impurities rise to the surface and once they rise to
- 15:39Speaker 4: the surface, you can remove them. But Juter refused to
- 15:44Speaker 4: be purified. They refuse the purification process. That is what
- 15:51Speaker 4: the Word of God does in our hearts and our lives. Beloved,
- 15:55Speaker 4: That's what Gordon to Church does, That's what fellowship does,
- 15:59Speaker 4: That's what this podcast does when you meet us here
- 16:03Speaker 4: every day at eleven. It's a refining process, so the
- 16:07Speaker 4: impurities can come to the surface and then be removed.
- 16:12Speaker 4: That's why we need to confess and forsake our sinful
- 16:17Speaker 4: habits and our sinful deeds. The refining process produces change,
- 16:28Speaker 4: but for this nation at this time, it didn't produce
- 16:32Speaker 4: any change. Trials are often God's refining process. The goal
- 16:42Speaker 4: is transformation. The tragedy was that Judah experienced correction without repentance.
- 16:50Speaker 4: That was the whole tragedy. They did not turn. Now.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Family hardship can either soften us or harden us. Some
- 17:02Speaker 4: people grow closer to God during trials, others grow bitter.
- 17:09Speaker 4: The difference is how we respond to God's work in
- 17:13Speaker 4: our lives. That's why we need to repent on a
- 17:18Speaker 4: daily basis. Amen Verse thirty. People will call them rejected
- 17:30Speaker 4: silver because the Lord has rejected them. Wow, rejected silver.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Now that's the title of this episode. Let's break this down. Now,
- 17:45Speaker 4: this is a conclusion of God's refining illustration. Right here,
- 17:50Speaker 4: this silver remain impure. The people refused correction. Now, as
- 17:59Speaker 4: a result, they became known as rejected silver. God did
- 18:08Speaker 4: everything necessary to call this people backed, to call us
- 18:13Speaker 4: people back. The rejection came because they continually refused him.
- 18:22Speaker 4: They refuse him consistently. It became a pattern in their lives.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Now this verse should challenge every believer today. This verse
- 18:35Speaker 4: should challenge you, and it should challenge me. God desires
- 18:38Speaker 4: to refine us, to shape us, to transform us. He
- 18:46Speaker 4: wants to make us pure. But the question is will
- 18:51Speaker 4: we cooperate with his work? That's the question of the podcast,
- 18:58Speaker 4: that's the question of the day. Or will we resist it.
- 19:07Speaker 4: God is not looking for perfection. He is looking for surrender.
- 19:14Speaker 4: God is looking for a surrendered heart. A man, Will
- 19:21Speaker 4: you surrender every area of your personality, every area of
- 19:26Speaker 4: your thought life, every area of your emotions, every area
- 19:30Speaker 4: of your speech. Will you surrender and submit and give
- 19:39Speaker 4: God your whole heart? That is what he wants, that
- 19:44Speaker 4: is what he desires, and that is the question for today.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Let's take a break.
- 19:53Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 19:56Speaker 5: is the Hiss Hop radio show.

- 20:02Speaker 3: ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus.

- 20:39Speaker 3: Could a God before it worsen?

- 21:02Speaker 3: stricken back lamity, as if that's.
- 21:03Speaker 2: How it had to be. That's one way.
- 21:05Speaker 3: The other way is if you just remember your creator
- 21:07Speaker 3: and your young day's no bump bake and say that
- 21:09Speaker 3: you're gonna be at church on Sunday. Forget about what
- 21:12Speaker 3: you heard. It's only one way, because someday life gonna

- 21:48Speaker 6: any beasts they want to see me on they all
- 21:50Speaker 6: call little Homie. Put your beanie on. I know that
- 21:53Speaker 6: dirty devil really won't see me, gunk. I put my
- 21:55Speaker 6: life a bitness music. You're gonna need these songs. I
