- 0:01Speaker 1: I'll call the person and.
- 0:05Speaker 2: For the first ball for the cads.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Someone who wasn't always trying on the turney soon fill
- 0:13Speaker 3: the long see the way?
- 0:20Speaker 4: All right? I don't understand, but what's going on? Everybody?
- 0:22Speaker 5: I'm the one, the only, the w O O K
- 0:25Speaker 5: I E joined here by the normal cast of myths.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Switch.
- 0:28Speaker 5: We have doctor m Sheep, who we got the draz
- 0:33Speaker 5: bar himself. Dras Boar was going, guys, Yeah, we got
- 0:38Speaker 5: the one of the only, the ewokist of ewoks.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Ewk.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Hello, keyboard community, Glad to be here, Glad to see
- 0:46Speaker 2: our audience, and special shout out to dead Sinc. And
- 0:50Speaker 2: Pretty Lips, my own teammate. It's gonna be a great night, boys.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Oh party Lips. Well yes, Pretty Lips is
- 0:59Speaker 2: on my A B R team. We'll talk about that,
- 1:01Speaker 2: got it? Oh yeah, this is a BR representing.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Represent Yeah, but it's time to pay a few bills
- 1:10Speaker 5: if you like us enough to throw us a dollar
- 1:13Speaker 5: and sometimes think that this mythical draw better dot cards
- 1:16Speaker 5: will ever show back up again?
- 1:18Speaker 2: You know, Patriot, how is that looking, Drascourt? Because I
- 1:24Speaker 2: have no ability to fix this, like not in my.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Wheel how Yeah, no, I I started from scratch right
- 1:31Speaker 4: vibe damn. So I'm trying to not write a line
- 1:36Speaker 4: of code myself and uh it's uh, you know, like
- 1:43Speaker 4: actually works now.
- 1:44Speaker 5: He's doing it the way gig makes key Forge cards.
- 1:47Speaker 5: He's trying to not write any of the cards himself.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Well, I mean to give to get Drass a little
- 1:53Speaker 2: bit of a bonus. You know, he does have some
- 1:57Speaker 2: kids and a wife that he's got to take care of.
- 1:59Speaker 2: He's got a real job, and he's running our a
- 2:01Speaker 2: br team. So you've got to fit all of this
- 2:05Speaker 2: in with vibe coding. It's tricky. Oh and he's even
- 2:10Speaker 2: showing it vibe coding.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I think you look at this just him. He just
- 2:17Speaker 5: turns on some tool and he just kind of like,
- 2:20Speaker 5: does it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Okay, boys and girls, you can't see this at home
- 2:23Speaker 2: because this is audio, but let me walk you through.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Drascourt is literally showing in the background it says wait yea.
- 2:32Speaker 5: From we changed it from yeah we don't remember weeks
- 2:35Speaker 5: ago we changed it from z score to dras care.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yeah I know right. Well he's doing all the work,
- 2:42Speaker 2: so yes, you should get name for it.
- 2:44Speaker 4: But when I don't like your guys, score is I
- 2:47Speaker 4: just use my own that's the other reason myself.
- 2:55Speaker 2: On a scale of one to ten, how often does
- 2:57Speaker 2: this happen all the time?
- 2:59Speaker 4: I mean not very hap but had I had to
- 3:01Speaker 4: not very often, but I had to fill in cards
- 3:04Speaker 4: that we hadn't gotten to yet. And then there's a
- 3:06Speaker 4: couple we changed, like I don't think we rated rage
- 3:09Speaker 4: reset high enough. Right, So there you go, but not
- 3:13Speaker 4: too many. There you go. There's a deck for you
- 3:15Speaker 4: go take that deck. Check this guy three sass, what
- 3:20Speaker 4: a monster? One hundred and three sasas well. Let's say
- 3:23Speaker 4: let's put this in.
- 3:25Speaker 2: The d to all of our audio listeners. I mean,
- 3:28Speaker 2: we are just completely off task. We are thirty seconds in.
- 3:32Speaker 2: So this is going to be a great night.
- 3:33Speaker 4: This is a welcome you know what was funny? Okay,
- 3:35Speaker 4: so you guys twenty nine on twenty nine maybe now
- 3:44Speaker 4: remember this is there's a different scale, so I think
- 3:48Speaker 4: I once it gets into the third one thirty, so
- 3:50Speaker 4: then it's good. So it's on the edge, it's on
- 3:52Speaker 4: the edge, right on the edge.
- 3:53Speaker 5: So you guys want to hear our most recent I
- 3:56Speaker 5: just love I love reading some of these sometimes, and
- 3:59Speaker 5: the only reason I ever read these is because Cole
- 4:04Speaker 5: Robbie from the other show actually actually goes in and
- 4:08Speaker 5: does a lot of the altered corner. He reads the
- 4:12Speaker 5: he reads the comments and actually answers to them, to
- 4:14Speaker 5: which I don't do anything of that for for our country.
- 4:19Speaker 4: You're welcome.
- 4:20Speaker 5: But I was poking around and he sent me a
- 4:23Speaker 5: message and he's like, here, here's here's your other show.
- 4:26Speaker 5: And somebody left to comment on one of our one
- 4:28Speaker 5: of our videos that says, this thing is impossible to
- 4:31Speaker 5: listen to, way too chaotic and not trunctured.
- 4:35Speaker 2: No, thank you, brother, I appreciate whoever that is. I
- 4:41Speaker 2: will make a donation for you.
- 4:42Speaker 4: We all have a d D here.
- 4:45Speaker 5: You can't you know, don't judge me on speak for yourself.
- 4:50Speaker 5: So Bookie has add and just talks about whatever he
- 4:53Speaker 5: wants to write whenever you want, whenever I want to.
- 4:59Speaker 5: This is all of it's true.
- 5:00Speaker 4: And before everybody gets by the way, before everybody gets
- 5:02Speaker 4: too excited about this big and there's a whole bunch
- 5:04Speaker 4: of things that don't work like it works for TV.
- 5:07Speaker 4: There's zero security. You can totally just come in and
- 5:10Speaker 4: delete the entire database. Like there's some things that that
- 5:15Speaker 4: need to be like there's a lot of work that
- 5:17Speaker 4: needs scores. But one day, if you give.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Us a dollar, Daz course says one day, it'll be
- 5:23Speaker 5: done one day.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Well, we'll get it there one day.
- 5:28Speaker 2: And my question, hold on, hold on, this is a
- 5:34Speaker 2: really important question. Yeah, will it happen before GG has
- 5:40Speaker 2: op for us?
- 5:42Speaker 4: Probably? Well, I mean they have they have real I'm
- 5:49Speaker 4: talking about week where I can go every week, yeah, before.
- 5:54Speaker 2: That, not like once once a season, once a year. Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 4: The entire data base lies. It says, it says you
- 6:07Speaker 4: can use the master Vault, but you can't. That breaks it.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Don't do that. Yeah, you can use fore you can
- 6:19Speaker 4: do these things. It's not true. It just everything crashes.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I will say this week for a br I'm going
- 6:27Speaker 2: to bounce up to that point. We go ahead, and.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Else we haven't even got the Patreon plug.
- 6:34Speaker 2: We'll get there. We'll get there. But we're talking about
- 6:38Speaker 2: Masterball and with Alliance. How many of you actually go
- 6:44Speaker 2: how many of you actually because our team was trying
- 6:46Speaker 2: to put some Alliant PV Alliance decks together, how many
- 6:49Speaker 2: of you put them together in Texa ky Forge and
- 6:53Speaker 2: then go over to Masterball If we're actually going to
- 6:55Speaker 2: use it, raise your hand. Oh yeah, that's that's all.
- 6:58Speaker 2: That's that's all the hand.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Yeah, everyone is.
- 7:02Speaker 5: And I just got to say, dead sink, you are
- 7:04Speaker 5: on fire tonight. Just thretis contents delete the entire database.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Sounds on brand rookie forge.
- 7:15Speaker 6: But.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Crashed it crowds like a brand on play style. So
- 7:27Speaker 4: we'll get there. So eventually we'll get there. But if
- 7:29Speaker 4: you give drafts car enough money, maybe it'll be out soon.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Do you welcome? Do we welcome the sheep? Hello sheep, Yeah, sheep.
- 7:40Speaker 4: And a letter of the day is tea. I don't
- 7:41Speaker 4: know why, but the letter of the day is tea.
- 7:43Speaker 4: The letter of.
- 7:44Speaker 2: The day is tu aout it being the number well,
- 7:50Speaker 2: because the count always has.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Numbers, numbers, and clearly it's been a long time since,
- 7:55Speaker 5: you know, JR has watched Sesame Street, so I had
- 7:58Speaker 5: to tell him what's what.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Hey, I'm now in second grade, so I'm back to
- 8:03Speaker 2: veryame s. So I apparently got to mote it from
- 8:08Speaker 2: fifth grade to second.
- 8:09Speaker 4: I was going to ask you the other day. I
- 8:11Speaker 4: was like, if you go from fifth to second is
- 8:13Speaker 4: that a demotion? How does that work?
- 8:15Speaker 2: It is? I know I no longer am able to
- 8:19Speaker 2: pass fifth grade. That's what it shows.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Okay, it's a problem.
- 8:23Speaker 5: But if you want to help us out, also go
- 8:25Speaker 5: to w dot gg W Energy, Clean Energy, Cocoa Boot.
- 8:30Speaker 5: I totally screwed this up. I haven't written down, but
- 8:33Speaker 5: i'm and I'm looking at and I screwed it up.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Go get your energy from w dot gg used code
- 8:37Speaker 5: draw better for ten percent off, and if you want,
- 8:42Speaker 5: we got the The new KFC shirts are up, except
- 8:45Speaker 5: for the one that we're unable to use because it
- 8:47Speaker 5: was too close to actual KFC, not that anybody actually
- 8:51Speaker 5: eats KFC anymore, but it was too close to their logo, so.
- 8:56Speaker 4: They shut that down.
- 8:56Speaker 5: But all the other ones are up, along with your
- 8:59Speaker 5: Vault to Her twenty twenty five shirt. We've still got
- 9:02Speaker 5: one Vault tour to go, so get your t shirts
- 9:06Speaker 5: over there.
- 9:07Speaker 4: The goose Ve guess is the last last or the
- 9:12Speaker 4: last few last who are like yeah, staying there like
- 9:16Speaker 4: extra time.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Madrid is coming up shortly, I believe, and you will
- 9:23Speaker 5: not be able to use PV in Madrid.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah that's a whole another DA is not.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Legal in Madrid because I guess Madrid has no PV.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Sounds good to me, did they say that or I
- 9:35Speaker 4: thought they said there was no Spanish language PV.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Well whatever, I can't remember, it doesn't matter. They're simply twitter.
- 9:42Speaker 5: As the day Europe had said that PV would not
- 9:47Speaker 5: be legal for Madrid.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Vault to her m.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Let me see if I can go find it in
- 9:54Speaker 5: my notifications. It shouldn't be too hard hopefully.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and in our wonderful discord you can actually see
- 10:03Speaker 2: Madrid where they list. So Beerforge, who is going ahead
- 10:08Speaker 2: and helping with organization, lists ARCon. So Friday is going
- 10:13Speaker 2: to be your amber Sky sealed, Saturday is ARCon, then
- 10:19Speaker 2: Saturday staggered is Alliance, and then you have on Sunday
- 10:25Speaker 2: your top eight and semi files in the finals. So
- 10:28Speaker 2: notice that even here amber Sky is sealed versus pvah,
- 10:32Speaker 2: and it says neither PV nor Masterball twenty five will
- 10:36Speaker 2: be playable at the main events. These sets haven't been
- 10:39Speaker 2: translated into the local language or sold outside of game found,
- 10:42Speaker 2: so the organizers have decided to ban them for this season.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 5: On their Twitter, it just says keyboards Prophetic Visions will
- 10:49Speaker 5: not be legal for this tournament because it has not
- 10:51Speaker 5: yet been distributed to stores and Spanish players. Ghost Galaxy
- 10:55Speaker 5: has approved the specific exception only for the Alans and
- 11:00Speaker 5: a contest I'm guessing that's Alliance and Arcan tournaments of
- 11:04Speaker 5: the Vault Tour of Spain.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I will say that our discord, honestly, all of KeyForge
- 11:10Speaker 2: discords seem to be the location to go to find information.
- 11:14Speaker 2: But there has been a lot of information posted in
- 11:17Speaker 2: our different Vault Tour channels, so definitely check it out
- 11:20Speaker 2: if you're going to one of the upcoming Vault tours.
- 11:22Speaker 2: That still remains internationally, but there's been great communication there.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, because I think Spains laugh. Is that it last?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Germany right now? Next weekend? Something?
- 11:37Speaker 4: This weekend soon?
- 11:41Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Sorry, how clueless we are when we can't go out.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so, so Germany should be in September. You have Madrid.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I'm trying to look at September nineteen twenty and twenty first,
- 11:54Speaker 2: and then Vietnam had just finished last week.
- 11:58Speaker 4: And Evansville we do, so we have a nod to
- 12:03Speaker 4: Evansville Vault Tour. Yeah, we should just put it in. Wow. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 4: I got some alerts going on plane tickets, so we'll
- 12:13Speaker 4: see what happens with the with the.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Can you make Vaulter tour sounds southern. I mean it
- 12:19Speaker 1: souls really that south, that far we can make fun.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Of the.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so what remained. Germany is September twelfth through fourteenth,
- 12:27Speaker 2: Vegas is September nineteenth through twenty first, and Spain is
- 12:30Speaker 2: also the nineteenth through twenty first. I do wish that
- 12:34Speaker 2: Evansville had a little bit easier airport to fly into,
- 12:38Speaker 2: but again, that was something that when we were looking
- 12:42Speaker 2: at Key Forge Live. You know, Milwaukee did have an
- 12:44Speaker 2: airport to fly into, but it's tricky that you can't
- 12:47Speaker 2: hit all of the items needed to run an event.
- 12:51Speaker 2: So if you're in the area, definitely swing by. It's
- 12:53Speaker 2: only it's it's it's a day's drive for us. It's
- 12:57Speaker 2: it's within driving distance from Milwaukee Chicago area.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Yeah, we're thinking about flying it into Nashville and like
- 13:06Speaker 4: checking out Nashville for a day.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Ooh, Nashville is wonderful. I would highly recommend.
- 13:12Speaker 4: I care to disagree, but we can disagree. Okay, tell
- 13:19Speaker 4: me more. Nashville's dirty, dirty sore you wow, Yeah, but
- 13:27Speaker 4: nobody's coming to visit me.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Hm. Wow, this is a great radio.
- 13:33Speaker 4: By the way, I said, Nashville, what I actually met
- 13:36Speaker 4: was Louisville. That's the culture one.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Yeah, that's definitely a totally different city. I have never
- 13:41Speaker 5: been to Louisville.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Oh, I don't know if it's that different. Maybe I
- 13:44Speaker 4: should check both out. Oh no, actually actually pulled up the.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Nashville actually has a really nice country scene. I actually
- 13:54Speaker 2: think that going ahead and listening to the music that's there. Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 2: you can yuck, that's fine, but it's different from Louisville.
- 14:09Speaker 2: What are you getting from Louisville there, Sheep, Louisville cucker. Anyway,
- 14:20Speaker 2: I will say for the last American Vault in Vegas,
- 14:23Speaker 2: there has been a lot of people who are very excited.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I'm hoping for some really good numbers because what I've
- 14:30Speaker 2: heard and what I've seen people like already booking it
- 14:33Speaker 2: should be a wonderful experience. So that's our last US tour,
- 14:37Speaker 2: and if you have not signed up, definitely go. Even
- 14:39Speaker 2: just going to the ball tours is a lot of fun.
- 14:41Speaker 4: So I mean Sheep's going and not playing.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Sheep also is qualified for Worlds, So there are a
- 14:49Speaker 2: lot of us who are not in that same boat.
- 14:52Speaker 4: You want can't get there in time to play seal?
- 14:55Speaker 2: Yes, I would take your qualification, Wookie.
- 14:58Speaker 4: I'll talk to Jeremy. I can give it away.
- 15:01Speaker 2: I don't know. That's not not non transferable.
- 15:04Speaker 4: It's non transferablendable. I can't even sell my qualification of worlds. God, nope, Gigi,
- 15:12Speaker 4: what are you doing?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I mean, you just gotta get somebody to dressed up
- 15:15Speaker 1: as the Wookie.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Yeah, we can do this. Yeah I am the Wookie.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's weird to do. It's walk around to be
- 15:26Speaker 1: an asshole and think.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Yeah, make it. Do a lot of bad takes. Yeah,
- 15:31Speaker 4: a lot of bad takes, create bad. Yep, yep of bad.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Let's talk about our Crucible class experience at locals this week.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Bos So, that's three of the four of us because
- 15:45Speaker 2: someone sheep wanted to go ahead and run Crucible Clash again,
- 15:49Speaker 2: thank you very much.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I oppose third third Tuesdays. It's just the rules, man.
- 15:56Speaker 2: But last week too. We make the rules and we
- 16:01Speaker 2: played it last well, you played it last week when
- 16:03Speaker 2: I was not.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Now we didn't. Nobody played it last week.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You guys all failed me. Anyway, why Discrucible Clash suck?
- 16:14Speaker 5: Do you want me to start counting the ways or well,
- 16:19Speaker 5: let's just start let's just start with the uh complete
- 16:23Speaker 5: and utter power level disparity between arcan powers.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Okay, talk to us about balance powers, because no, no,
- 16:36Speaker 2: what did you open, Wookie?
- 16:38Speaker 5: So I was for each ember icon, I could instead
- 16:43Speaker 5: of gaining an Amber, I was allowed to capture an.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Umber I had. Whenever I play a night, I gain
- 16:51Speaker 2: an Amber. I did not have Sanctum. I had one
- 16:55Speaker 2: card that had two copies of it. So that's right.
- 16:59Speaker 2: My whole thirty six cards had two copies. I had
- 17:02Speaker 2: two total nights. I could gain two amber. Sheep, what
- 17:06Speaker 2: did you have for your power?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Vine was instead of an amber bonus pip, I could
- 17:13Speaker 1: archive a.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Card and local car.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Whenever he called Sanctum, he just gets two Amber. So
- 17:19Speaker 2: he just calls Sanctum once. And that's the same as
- 17:22Speaker 2: my whole playthrough for a deck. But our good friend
- 17:26Speaker 2: mister Perfect goes ahead and has this sweet balance card
- 17:32Speaker 2: called Thievery. Should I read what Thievery does? During your turn?
- 17:37Speaker 2: After you discard a card from your hand, you may
- 17:42Speaker 2: purge it from your discard pile if you do steal
- 17:45Speaker 2: one amber, yep, I don't steel for a for a
- 17:57Speaker 2: change for a net of two, and I'm thinning my deck.
- 18:02Speaker 2: This is like all wins.
- 18:04Speaker 4: And basically it says, perject cards, steal one.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I'm limited to this once a time.
- 18:11Speaker 4: You get adults as many times as you have a house.
- 18:17Speaker 2: So the first time I played mister Purvy, I got
- 18:20Speaker 2: destroyed and we had so much time that we said,
- 18:23Speaker 2: let's put all of the ARCon powers, meaning both of ours,
- 18:27Speaker 2: out and we can both use them. Now, his deck
- 18:30Speaker 2: was still tailored to have discarded, had discard pips, and
- 18:35Speaker 2: it had cards like Plummet that you could go ahead
- 18:37Speaker 2: and discard your hand in and still gain the benefit. However,
- 18:43Speaker 2: it was a lot closer in the second game when
- 18:45Speaker 2: all of these powers were shared between us, but when
- 18:49Speaker 2: it was just what he could do versus mine, they're
- 18:52Speaker 2: not even close. Like these are twistedly different. One is
- 19:00Speaker 2: an S tier or an A tier, and one I'm
- 19:03Speaker 2: not even classifying it as an F tier. It's so
- 19:05Speaker 2: low it does not even exist. Like the idea, the
- 19:09Speaker 2: idea of only having two nights in a deck, why
- 19:14Speaker 2: why is that even a card? How are those comparable?
- 19:18Speaker 1: They're not comfortable. Nobody ever said they're going to be comparable.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I mean, so it's very clear now that we've had
- 19:28Speaker 1: this garbage that this set is really meant to be
- 19:31Speaker 1: the new Menagerie, which it's not about being balanced, it's
- 19:35Speaker 1: about making crazy things happen, which it does. And then
- 19:39Speaker 1: you also get hasts as raptors because well they're they
- 19:48Speaker 1: they in this design, they confuse good and fun and
- 19:54Speaker 1: what can be interesting, and we'll just yeah, like if one,
- 19:58Speaker 1: if one person might, I get they're willing to throw
- 20:01Speaker 1: it in.
- 20:01Speaker 4: It wasn't this set suffer? And maybe I'm wrong.
- 20:05Speaker 2: It was called the Sealed.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Sets Analysis for sealed like to be played.
- 20:13Speaker 4: I don't think they understand why. I don't think they
- 20:16Speaker 4: understand number one, like this whole like, oh, kitchen table play.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I don't think this happens in KeyForge. I just I'm
- 20:25Speaker 4: convinced nobody is sitting down at their kitchen table and
- 20:28Speaker 4: playing some KeyForge. I just don't think they're just buying
- 20:33Speaker 4: AOA displays for sixteen dollars and doing it right.
- 20:38Speaker 5: That that would make sense. But nobody's buying PV or CC.
- 20:43Speaker 5: And I guess a lot of the other fear for
- 20:47Speaker 5: a lot of us was this is going to become
- 20:49Speaker 5: the thing we have to play for sealed events. I
- 20:53Speaker 5: really hope it's not.
- 20:55Speaker 1: No, I don't think so, now now that I've experienced,
- 20:59Speaker 1: I don't think it would ever be.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I really hope not.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I'm not even convinced they're going to end up adding
- 21:05Speaker 1: it to the t RG for us, honestly. I mean
- 21:09Speaker 1: they said they will, so I'm sure it will.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Yeah, ARCon power is turned off, but yeah, flicks.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Will probably imagine. But the short answer is, I don't.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I don't think that it should be put in TRG.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Like I like the cards that are there. I think
- 21:26Speaker 2: it's the set is fine to be able to play,
- 21:29Speaker 2: but the ARCon cards are the disparity is.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Hards are going to have. They're not going for that
- 21:36Speaker 1: to play an ARCon.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I understand, but there has to be a minimum. We
- 21:41Speaker 2: have access to the algorithm in order to adjust for
- 21:45Speaker 2: what decks we're creating, and when you only have one
- 21:48Speaker 2: card or two cards in a whole deck, that is
- 21:52Speaker 2: not it's not even enjoyable, Like why would we program
- 21:56Speaker 2: it that way? If I'm looking Debt is talking about
- 22:02Speaker 2: Cat Merrill who opened a Friendly Humans Enter Play and
- 22:04Speaker 2: the deck had one human. Why is there not a
- 22:07Speaker 2: minimum of here's ten humans. I just I don't understand that.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Well, here's another two from Ketzer. After a player chooses
- 22:17Speaker 5: Saurian as their active house, exalt each non dinosaur creature
- 22:23Speaker 5: or including your own, and then each friendly artifact gained action.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Game two archive of this card and those aren't he right?
- 22:39Speaker 5: But like, okay, so you get that power good, Well
- 22:43Speaker 5: you get okay, so this I don't know if this.
- 22:46Speaker 5: So you get this commanding presence, which is the Saurian one.
- 22:49Speaker 5: But then don't get Saurian.
- 22:52Speaker 2: No, I don't even care. Looking at thievery, I can
- 23:00Speaker 2: go ahead and purge a whole house. That's my poor house.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Favory is off the charts. What what the fought?
- 23:08Speaker 6: Like?
- 23:09Speaker 2: I will pay your donation there because it is. It's
- 23:12Speaker 2: so bad.
- 23:14Speaker 1: It literally there's an other arc on power where every
- 23:20Speaker 1: turn you just have to purge a card from your
- 23:22Speaker 1: own discard and it does nothing except in your deck.
- 23:25Speaker 1: And that card was fine, but I.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I'm literally on a turn, I'm just gonna purge five
- 23:33Speaker 2: cards than my deck and steal five from you. That's
- 23:36Speaker 2: a delta of ten off of that, and my deck
- 23:40Speaker 2: becomes more efficient. When we played the second game between
- 23:43Speaker 2: perfect and myself, I was at nine cards, and one
- 23:47Speaker 2: of those conveniently was redline rotation. So guess what. I
- 23:53Speaker 2: purge everything except for the one or two cards that
- 23:56Speaker 2: I actually want to play, and then I thin my deck.
- 24:00Speaker 2: See what was your strategy to go against this, because
- 24:03Speaker 2: it almost worked until it doesn't because of a stupid plummet. Uh.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I put all my creatures out and every amber
- 24:12Speaker 1: was just used as an archive. And then the theory
- 24:16Speaker 1: was build up a big enough archimer board that I
- 24:19Speaker 1: can reap or whatever. I did have a key sheet, like,
- 24:23Speaker 1: make enough amber that even when he comes back and
- 24:25Speaker 1: steals five, it doesn't matter. But you know, like it's
- 24:31Speaker 1: hard to make no amber sometimes.
- 24:36Speaker 5: So well, it defeats so magic. I believe learned this
- 24:41Speaker 5: lesson a long time ago. Right, people like to play
- 24:44Speaker 5: their cards, use their cards.
- 24:47Speaker 1: There would be a blue player, So don't talk to
- 24:50Speaker 1: us about letting people live their cards.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Number one, you're not wrong. But my question is they
- 24:58Speaker 5: keep releasing these and the store owners don't know any better,
- 25:04Speaker 5: and they keep talking about how hard it is to
- 25:07Speaker 5: get key Forge into stores, But then you keep releasing
- 25:13Speaker 5: this dog water.
- 25:16Speaker 2: That you're stuck, that the store.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Is going to be stuck with.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I mean, like an improvement.
- 25:26Speaker 4: You just want me to.
- 25:27Speaker 5: I mean I was trying to. I was trying to
- 25:28Speaker 5: clean it up for Ewok's state. You keep releasing this
- 25:31Speaker 5: dog shit right that the store is gonna.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Be stuck with that.
- 25:35Speaker 5: They cannot move, they cannot sell key Forge players don't
- 25:40Speaker 5: want it, and then eventually what's gonna happen is it's
- 25:45Speaker 5: gonna hit the discount then and then somebody's gonna be like,
- 25:47Speaker 5: key Forge, what's that? And buy it and then think
- 25:49Speaker 5: that this is how key Forge is and then be
- 25:55Speaker 5: thoroughly disappointed when they come to find out that ARCon
- 25:57Speaker 5: cards really don't have powers because there's just there's nothing
- 26:02Speaker 5: saying anything about anything going on.
- 26:05Speaker 2: So what I'm hearing is having two to three sets.
- 26:08Speaker 5: A year, releasing extra sets nobody cares and or wants it,
- 26:16Speaker 5: but having them didn't need mmm, we didn't need talk
- 26:21Speaker 5: Like Talk should have been a whole nother set, Like
- 26:23Speaker 5: if you were going to do talk, like instead of
- 26:27Speaker 5: Draconian measures or instead of ember Skies or instead of
- 26:33Speaker 5: what the prophetic visions like, Talk should have been a
- 26:37Speaker 5: set fully flesh out the idea. Because there's we released
- 26:42Speaker 5: so many damn sets and we're gonna talk about it
- 26:45Speaker 5: here in a little bit. But we release so many
- 26:47Speaker 5: damn sets that the set that is actually the set
- 26:51Speaker 5: people are gonna play with. This is how we end
- 26:53Speaker 5: up with a Trink's creed. This is how we end
- 26:55Speaker 5: up with busted cards because we're working on four sets
- 26:59Speaker 5: for this year. That's three of them nobody wants and
- 27:04Speaker 5: are not even going to be legally viable. So and
- 27:08Speaker 5: then we're just we we gotta deal the players are
- 27:12Speaker 5: the ones got to deal.
- 27:13Speaker 4: With the dog water? Go ahead, what's your question? Here's
- 27:16Speaker 4: a question. So we know that the next campaign's coming,
- 27:20Speaker 4: do we have any idea? Yeah, there is no knowing
- 27:26Speaker 4: another's additional set. Nope, not a clue because they don't share.
- 27:34Speaker 4: If they don't, it'll be code A plus. It could
- 27:40Speaker 4: be fun, but they shouldn't do it. Uh is what's
- 27:45Speaker 4: in like cod plus is what we call what we
- 27:47Speaker 4: now call vault Master. Yeah, basically, so I think I
- 27:53Speaker 4: don't even ship. I totally forgot about that even vault Master, right,
- 27:58Speaker 4: and the thing.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Like a Remax such a big deal.
- 28:04Speaker 5: Yeah right, But it's like it's another set that you're
- 28:07Speaker 5: taking design time. Like, as far as I'm aware this
- 28:10Speaker 5: is a Remember how small of a team we have?
- 28:14Speaker 5: Remember remember so like we keep talking about this small team,
- 28:17Speaker 5: but we have these huge ambitions to do all this stuff.
- 28:20Speaker 5: But you have this small team. So instead of releasing
- 28:23Speaker 5: eight sets a year, or four sets a year, or
- 28:26Speaker 5: five sets a year, how about you released two sets
- 28:29Speaker 5: a year and then vault master and then make them
- 28:33Speaker 5: good and balance so we don't have to deal with Like,
- 28:37Speaker 5: it is very clear to me. And I don't know
- 28:40Speaker 5: if anybody's ever said this, and I don't know if
- 28:42Speaker 5: anybody's ever really honestly looked at it, But like Trnk's
- 28:45Speaker 5: creed was supposed to say friendly and they just forgot
- 28:50Speaker 5: like it was supposed.
- 28:51Speaker 2: To rata and fix it.
- 28:54Speaker 4: But a rata is such a it's such a terrible choice.
- 29:00Speaker 2: KeyForge it is, but letting it sit out there right now?
- 29:06Speaker 2: But how do I fix that?
- 29:07Speaker 4: We get erata that, But how do I fix that?
- 29:09Speaker 6: What do I do?
- 29:11Speaker 2: Do I we need to pay attention before we actually publish,
- 29:14Speaker 2: But do.
- 29:15Speaker 5: I make new game pieces then for the errata, and
- 29:19Speaker 5: then I'll make players get the game their ratied game piece.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Honestly, if you have your kitchen table, players and they
- 29:26Speaker 2: want to play, they play however they want. But for
- 29:28Speaker 2: our Vault Tour, for our people who are in competitive play,
- 29:33Speaker 2: have it as a replacement card because it's going in
- 29:35Speaker 2: a sleeve. It can't do something. Stop, we can't do
- 29:40Speaker 2: replacement cards. Remember, it is impossible to do replacement cards
- 29:44Speaker 2: with the way we print things as impossible to do
- 29:46Speaker 2: a replacement card.
- 29:47Speaker 4: You can't do it. Period of a story done. Can't
- 29:49Speaker 4: do it. Okay, I'm just saying I am not disagreeing
- 29:55Speaker 4: with you in one in one little bit iota whatsoever.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Because they can to do it, they choose not to
- 30:01Speaker 4: do it. Right, you can one hundred percent print out
- 30:04Speaker 4: one hundred of these one cards and allow people to
- 30:07Speaker 4: because it is going into a sleeve and it does
- 30:10Speaker 4: not matter. But it's just like, for whatever reason, CTP
- 30:15Speaker 4: can't wrap his head around breaking out the deck and
- 30:18Speaker 4: having one or two cards that you could have foiled
- 30:21Speaker 4: or alternate arts or whatever the case, and it's just
- 30:23Speaker 4: too difficult for them. So there, so when we've come
- 30:27Speaker 4: to the real or at least I've come to the
- 30:28Speaker 4: realization that whenever anything's too difficult for gg they just
- 30:32Speaker 4: don't do it.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Many many business is yeah, many businesses fallow that same model.
- 30:38Speaker 2: My question is, is there a separation between our kitchen
- 30:42Speaker 2: table players and our volte tour are are our competitive players?
- 30:46Speaker 2: And the short answer is yes. I think there's a
- 30:49Speaker 2: delineation that needs to be more clear and established that
- 30:53Speaker 2: it's okay to have your kitchen table players have trains
- 30:56Speaker 2: creed as it is. You mess it up, great, we
- 30:59Speaker 2: know what it is. But for the competitive players who
- 31:01Speaker 2: take this game in a very different light, go ahead
- 31:04Speaker 2: and put out the promo. Replace it, and that's what's
- 31:07Speaker 2: in your rules that Trenk's creed is going to say
- 31:10Speaker 2: friendly and it's still a good card, but it's not
- 31:13Speaker 2: ridiculously broken as it is, and so those are things
- 31:17Speaker 2: that can be done. But right now, I think the
- 31:19Speaker 2: separation between it being a beer and pretzels game around
- 31:23Speaker 2: the table and a competitive card game, that's where I
- 31:27Speaker 2: see CTP and the GG staff really struggling to separate out.
- 31:31Speaker 2: And that's what I would challenge is that break them out.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Have no issue with that. The people who are at
- 31:37Speaker 2: kitchen table frankly aren't reading your TRG and have no
- 31:39Speaker 2: idea about these rules updates that are there. But for
- 31:43Speaker 2: those of us who are following it competitively. Make it
- 31:45Speaker 2: so that it is a more balanced game. And if
- 31:49Speaker 2: you mess up because you're still sending out so many sets, great,
- 31:51Speaker 2: enjoy it, but move on.
- 31:56Speaker 5: I think the problem now is don't we have one
- 31:58Speaker 5: of each of these cards that's just completely busted and
- 32:01Speaker 5: not fun to play against it? Each house you got
- 32:04Speaker 5: Trenk's creator is one. I'm pretty sure you got one
- 32:08Speaker 5: in each house.
- 32:11Speaker 1: For TV.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I don't necessarily recommend rage reset m there's nothing that
- 32:21Speaker 1: anybody cares about.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Yes, don't just look at the atrocity in this atrocities Yeah, yeah, well,
- 32:30Speaker 2: atrocity is easy to deal with.
- 32:31Speaker 4: You just don't want a lot of that. That's wait, what.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Tell me, what what is your response for atrocity?
- 32:40Speaker 5: Don't reprint? Scud them, don't reprint. It's reprint right, it's
- 32:46Speaker 5: already in This is where what I talked about earlier,
- 32:50Speaker 5: like instead of releasing one hundred sets or seven sets
- 32:54Speaker 5: a year, that only two of them are really what's
- 32:59Speaker 5: driving your buy in this and here I'll even talk
- 33:01Speaker 5: to the financial side. Only two of these sets are
- 33:03Speaker 5: driving your bottom line, So stop wasting money on sets
- 33:11Speaker 5: that nobody cares about nobody wants and and focus your
- 33:15Speaker 5: cash on delivering a solid, good product, on the two
- 33:19Speaker 5: sets that are going to make a difference to the
- 33:21Speaker 5: players who are spending money to come to your vault tours,
- 33:25Speaker 5: who are spending money to come to KFC.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I think, I think this is all those places where
- 33:31Speaker 1: you're just wrong.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Oh feel free tell me more.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Because if those sets didn't move enough product to justify
- 33:41Speaker 1: making them, they wouldn't, which means people are buying them.
- 33:46Speaker 2: But do we do we have a community that feels
- 33:49Speaker 2: obligated to buy each of these sets, Well, they're interested.
- 33:53Speaker 4: You know, a lot of coming out in game founds.
- 33:58Speaker 4: I will it this time? That's the instant question. These sets.
- 34:02Speaker 4: These sets aren't coming out as standalones. They do eventually,
- 34:08Speaker 4: but originally based they're not. They're not coming out as
- 34:12Speaker 4: standalone sets. C C was a game found what it was,
- 34:16Speaker 4: special tier or whatever, right, So.
- 34:21Speaker 1: It was for the stores and so, and it's been consistent.
- 34:24Speaker 1: They keep making bonus sets, and but I think they're
- 34:29Speaker 1: determined it's worth it.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Like what, But I think they've determined that it's worth
- 34:34Speaker 2: it because we keep buying them. And I can't disagree
- 34:37Speaker 2: with that.
- 34:38Speaker 4: But the problem is as a gamer, game found go down.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I do see that as well.
- 34:45Speaker 1: But you we've gone through this. You are trying to
- 34:49Speaker 1: say it's because.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Of A or B.
- 34:51Speaker 5: And I'm not trying to say I'm not trying right,
- 34:56Speaker 5: because we don't know. Everything on this show is a
- 34:59Speaker 5: speculation because we don't get any information about these type
- 35:03Speaker 5: of things, and then when we're asked, we get you know,
- 35:06Speaker 5: like following knife analogies and just bad bad answers.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Right, So.
- 35:14Speaker 2: You're that. But I will say that as games go
- 35:18Speaker 2: ahead and age, you will have individual players leave, and
- 35:22Speaker 2: we have seen that consistently that our player base continues
- 35:26Speaker 2: to decrease. Now we do have new players coming in,
- 35:30Speaker 2: but it's not at the same rate that we have
- 35:31Speaker 2: people who are leaving. And that's just part of any game.
- 35:35Speaker 5: But you also haven't given the opportunity. I mean, you've
- 35:39Speaker 5: kind of set the precedent that, yeah, we're going to
- 35:41Speaker 5: get at least one additional set per year. Right, that's
- 35:47Speaker 5: a set that may or may not be legal, right,
- 35:51Speaker 5: And maybe I'm gonna guess that's why they feel like,
- 35:54Speaker 5: well we have to the only one where I don't know,
- 35:57Speaker 5: we got Menagerie in woe didn't we Menagerie wasn't well yeah,
- 36:04Speaker 5: and then but the big thing about whoa too was like, oh,
- 36:07Speaker 5: well that was a whole saving key forge. And then
- 36:09Speaker 5: did you get what was in with grim reminders?
- 36:14Speaker 4: What was the next way?
- 36:15Speaker 2: Hold on?
- 36:15Speaker 4: Hold hold?
- 36:16Speaker 5: Wasn't it unchained? It was unchained? Then Menagerie. You're right,
- 36:20Speaker 5: you're right, you got unchained with well, Menagerie came out
- 36:23Speaker 5: with grim reminders. But again, hey, seep, how many boxes
- 36:29Speaker 5: of unchained slash Menagerie do you have in your basement?
- 36:34Speaker 1: I have one box of unchained?
- 36:37Speaker 4: You have no Menagerie in your basement.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I bet I have a deck or two, but I
- 36:43Speaker 1: might not even have that. Actually I don't.
- 36:45Speaker 4: All right, ewa, how much you got in your basement?
- 36:49Speaker 2: There's one box of unchained?
- 36:52Speaker 4: And that is it?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Because I did not do the same. I think I
- 36:55Speaker 2: have a deck of Menagerie.
- 36:57Speaker 4: I think you got well. You both did smaller pledges
- 36:59Speaker 4: on the second one.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Do not well, No, we learned from unchain that, you know,
- 37:03Speaker 1: I the non tournament legal sets, right, so you can
- 37:08Speaker 1: learn they have quit doing that, But which is.
- 37:15Speaker 2: As tournament legal?
- 37:16Speaker 1: Other people in this community by tons of the broken sets,
- 37:21Speaker 1: even though they're bad, right, even though we say they're
- 37:23Speaker 1: bad for the game because they're broken, the real top
- 37:27Speaker 1: competitive players buy a lot of that stuff trying to
- 37:31Speaker 1: get the broken ship. They're gonna play it.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Yep, that's true.
- 37:37Speaker 5: So so okay, so a lot of top competitive players
- 37:40Speaker 5: are buying it trying to get the broken ship. How
- 37:42Speaker 5: many MMM decks have made it into doing anything since
- 37:46Speaker 5: its release?
- 37:47Speaker 1: What does it matter? Every MM deck I bought, I
- 37:50Speaker 1: sold right, like MM sold great.
- 37:55Speaker 2: I would like to see the comparison of how many.
- 38:00Speaker 1: If it's tournament quality, if it all sells.
- 38:05Speaker 2: But you're in.
- 38:08Speaker 4: This because I.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Because I sold everything I got, not tons, but I
- 38:14Speaker 1: sold it might our well, no, we sold everything we
- 38:18Speaker 1: even had at our store.
- 38:20Speaker 2: So my question, my question is what is the interest
- 38:24Speaker 2: level for M M M versus sets that are competitive
- 38:29Speaker 2: like PV. So when you open up PV, is it
- 38:34Speaker 2: that you're just selling through your set or you have
- 38:36Speaker 2: people who are interested in buying more and you know,
- 38:39Speaker 2: repeat customers.
- 38:45Speaker 4: I think that was a question for you sheep, all right.
- 38:50Speaker 5: Not falling with the question is he's asking like, so
- 38:53Speaker 5: you're selling your original base investment, but then are you
- 38:56Speaker 5: having people coming back for more?
- 39:01Speaker 1: Not really, But like, unless I push people to buy PV,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I don't sell any of that either. Like, I'm not
- 39:09Speaker 1: not that big of a retailer.
- 39:11Speaker 6: I'm not right.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I would disagree in that. Even within the PV PV
- 39:18Speaker 2: because it's competitiveness, I've seen people reach out and say,
- 39:21Speaker 2: I will take I'll take a box, I'll take a box.
- 39:23Speaker 2: And the same was happening when GR was so hot.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Because GR was competitive, you had more competitive players. Again,
- 39:30Speaker 2: that's the type of players that we have for the
- 39:32Speaker 2: teams and for the demographic that we're we're pulling in.
- 39:36Speaker 1: We're looking, but we also are only looking at our demographic,
- 39:39Speaker 1: which is not necessarily meaningful to the larger scale. Because
- 39:49Speaker 1: even at the VAUL tour, there were lots of people
- 39:51Speaker 1: they talk about they like they like the MM style sets,
- 39:55Speaker 1: even though they're not competitive. They like playing stuff that
- 39:59Speaker 1: we all say is no good.
- 40:02Speaker 2: I think that there's a difference people like playing the key.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Rack and stuff and want to buy decks to get that.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I think there's a difference between playing and enjoying it
- 40:13Speaker 2: versus it being something that I'm going to open to
- 40:16Speaker 2: play competitively. Those are two separate components. Like I grabbed
- 40:22Speaker 2: a number of MMM decks hoping to get some new gigantics.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I was looking forward to that. It was something to
- 40:27Speaker 2: chase after. But it doesn't mean like I quickly saw
- 40:31Speaker 2: that that was not going to be competitive. But I
- 40:34Speaker 2: am more interested in opening GR decks or now PV decks,
- 40:39Speaker 2: grabbing another box of that. Not because it's fun to play,
- 40:43Speaker 2: which is one area, but because it has a higher
- 40:47Speaker 2: probability of pulling something that's competitive that I can go
- 40:52Speaker 2: ahead and take to a.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Event. See.
- 40:59Speaker 5: The other thing I'm going to say here is when
- 41:01Speaker 5: it comes down to it, right, we don't we've always
- 41:05Speaker 5: given like an extra set with each thing. You don't
- 41:09Speaker 5: know what happens when you offer something different. Well we
- 41:14Speaker 5: have Again, it's just we don't know. There's no base,
- 41:18Speaker 5: there's no statistics. We don't know if they went, hey,
- 41:21Speaker 5: we're going to offer tokens or I mean, that's just
- 41:28Speaker 5: what I don't have a good example right now. Give
- 41:30Speaker 5: me a little bit and I can think of something,
- 41:32Speaker 5: but I don't have a good replacement for it. But
- 41:35Speaker 5: if you were to say, hey, we're gonna give you
- 41:37Speaker 5: these special X y Z, you don't know if that
- 41:41Speaker 5: would sell more or sell less. And I understand, like, well,
- 41:45Speaker 5: we know we have this quantity given X y Z,
- 41:50Speaker 5: so we're just gonna keep doing it. So, I mean,
- 41:55Speaker 5: you don't know, is the short and skinny, and you
- 41:59Speaker 5: don't know whether you're never helping it right, You don't
- 42:01Speaker 5: know what you don't know, and you don't know what
- 42:03Speaker 5: if you don't try. But like there's no like I
- 42:07Speaker 5: just think like if you were to say it's going
- 42:09Speaker 5: to be a two set a year or even a
- 42:11Speaker 5: three set a year cycle, I think that's more than fine.
- 42:17Speaker 5: But just the the you can't keep using the excuse
- 42:20Speaker 5: of we're a small team and then just try to
- 42:24Speaker 5: pump out as many sets as every other CCG don't work.
- 42:29Speaker 5: It don't work like that. So if you're such a
- 42:31Speaker 5: small team, how are you pumping out all these sets?
- 42:35Speaker 2: And that?
- 42:36Speaker 5: And the short and skinny of the answer is we
- 42:40Speaker 5: release badly balanced product. But that's my two cents. Sheep,
- 42:51Speaker 5: where are we at and this whole thing we've just
- 42:54Speaker 5: blown through? Oh we're still on the intro. We were
- 43:01Speaker 5: gonna go through V here I.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Did we start talking about CC? I do have my
- 43:05Speaker 4: CC store tournament this Sunday, We're gonna do a three
- 43:11Speaker 4: deck sealed true sealed. I'm thinking that. I think what
- 43:16Speaker 4: I'm gonna do is gonna offer folks to vote, like,
- 43:19Speaker 4: do you want to be able to use an ARCon
- 43:22Speaker 4: power from any of the three decks so that you
- 43:26Speaker 4: know it's not just the absolute railroad. I'm thinking about
- 43:30Speaker 4: offering that. I will offer that to folks or just
- 43:34Speaker 4: turn them off because the decks are fine without the
- 43:36Speaker 4: ARCon powers.
- 43:38Speaker 2: You can or you can have the same ARCon power
- 43:43Speaker 2: or both players, so just put them in between. And
- 43:50Speaker 2: what that does is it opens it up that you
- 43:52Speaker 2: can use either one. Decks are still tailored towards one
- 43:57Speaker 2: or the other. There's an advantage, but at least if
- 44:00Speaker 2: you have an absolutely broken arc on power, you can
- 44:03Speaker 2: choose to play it, and then it's a more competitive game.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Like the ones that are already two sided, they just
- 44:09Speaker 1: don't change. There's two sided, so be it.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that is what it is. But things that are
- 44:15Speaker 2: like you play Sanctum and you don't have Sanctum. Okay,
- 44:18Speaker 2: that's a total bummer. There's nothing more I can really
- 44:21Speaker 2: do about it. But at least it's out there in
- 44:23Speaker 2: the middle I could technically call sanctum. I'm just not
- 44:27Speaker 2: doing anything outside of gaining the two amber.
- 44:29Speaker 4: You can't go bad. But if it's not on your
- 44:30Speaker 4: identity card, it's bad.
- 44:35Speaker 2: But I don't I don't know what else to do
- 44:37Speaker 2: outside of that throwing out the ARCon powers that you
- 44:41Speaker 2: can choose your like one of the three. It's okay,
- 44:44Speaker 2: But the discrepancy between the ark On powers is so
- 44:51Speaker 2: it's so wide that it actually is not a fun
- 44:54Speaker 2: sealed set to play. I think the actual CC set
- 44:57Speaker 2: as a whole, the cards that are there, there's some
- 44:59Speaker 2: unique cards, and I think those cards without the ark
- 45:02Speaker 2: On powers is a fun set to play. But touting
- 45:06Speaker 2: it as a balance sealed set and this is what
- 45:09Speaker 2: we're supposed to be playing, I disagree with that. I
- 45:11Speaker 2: don't think that that's the option that I see for KeyForge.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I don't think our.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Balance nothing has been balanced.
- 45:19Speaker 2: We can even argue on that, but balance balance has
- 45:23Speaker 2: been lacking, to say the least.
- 45:27Speaker 4: All right, let's go into Vault Tour Vietnam. Everybody, Well, yeah, so.
- 45:35Speaker 2: ABR is going well. I'll put out a quick shout
- 45:39Speaker 2: for October tenth, Evansville, Indiana. Go check out Midwest Charity.
- 45:43Speaker 2: We went ahead and said a little bit about it,
- 45:46Speaker 2: but just it's a really good cause, a lot of fun,
- 45:49Speaker 2: and I hope to be there myself. So all right,
- 45:53Speaker 2: onto Vietnam.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Wait are you going?
- 45:56Speaker 2: I'm trying, man, I'm really trying. I think that the
- 45:59Speaker 2: time is there. Evansville. It's a long drive, but it's
- 46:02Speaker 2: not out of the question, and it's always fun to
- 46:07Speaker 2: be able to ride if we can get a couple
- 46:09Speaker 2: of people. No, Evansville, Indiana.
- 46:12Speaker 4: Indiana, Indiana. Why do I think Indianapolis.
- 46:19Speaker 5: Through Indianapolis together, I say you will? Yeah, all right,
- 46:23Speaker 5: fault tour Vietnam, Vietnam.
- 46:27Speaker 2: So it happened, Yeah, it happened last week.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Yep. Should we go through? Uh Riku's kind of highlights
- 46:37Speaker 4: his quick analysis.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Do you want to hear?
- 46:40Speaker 4: I think there's interesting stuff in there.
- 46:42Speaker 5: So you had thirty seven players, I believe in Arkhan
- 46:48Speaker 5: thirty one, three Sealed, thirty one, Arkan twenty five Alliance.
- 46:53Speaker 5: Now mind you, everybody, those were held on three separate days,
- 46:58Speaker 5: so every player was able to play in all three events.
- 47:04Speaker 5: Interesting fun fact. Out of the thirty one decks in Arkhan,
- 47:07Speaker 5: sixteen of them were PV eight were ember Sky's five
- 47:12Speaker 5: GR one Whoe one talk. Fun fact, I didn't know
- 47:16Speaker 5: Vietnam has no talk. This is one from Hong Kong.
- 47:20Speaker 5: So Vietnam has no time. Why didn't Vietnam get talk?
- 47:25Speaker 2: Well again, distribution of decks in the world gets delayed
- 47:30Speaker 2: and you have to go ahead and go through translations. Okay,
- 47:34Speaker 2: there are lots of different reasons for why it hasn't
- 47:37Speaker 2: made it there yet.
- 47:39Speaker 5: All right, so Vietnam has never been a meta with diversity.
- 47:44Speaker 5: But uh, five GR three of them were from Korea.
- 47:48Speaker 5: Korea only released amber Sky's recently.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Keep that in mind. Amber sky Is was just released
- 47:57Speaker 2: in Korea. Well, we're in PV and it has been
- 48:01Speaker 2: overtaking like the world. That is crazy to see the
- 48:05Speaker 2: difference in just how distribution impacts a game.
- 48:11Speaker 5: One is Gee, which is a World Championship World Champ
- 48:15Speaker 5: deck from twenty twenty four.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Yep, that's Bamboo who went ahead and piloted that.
- 48:20Speaker 4: Yep.
- 48:20Speaker 5: So outside of very specific top decks, gr is out
- 48:24Speaker 5: of the race. Top houses were Logos with eighteen discs
- 48:28Speaker 5: was seventeen and Geist started with ten.
- 48:31Speaker 2: All right, now, pause there, look at that piece that
- 48:36Speaker 2: there're sixteen PV decks, eight Amber skies, five GR. But
- 48:42Speaker 2: really GR has knee the World Champ deck and then
- 48:48Speaker 2: not much else. No, I mean people were screaming for
- 48:53Speaker 2: GR to like go away, and it was it was
- 48:57Speaker 2: having so many issues and now it's not even like
- 49:03Speaker 2: it did take the it did take the vault surprise.
- 49:05Speaker 5: I mean, let's be honest with you right now, with
- 49:07Speaker 5: PV in in rotation GR, it looks like a fully
- 49:10Speaker 5: balanced set.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's that's wrong.
- 49:16Speaker 4: But yes, tell me I'm wrong, sheep.
- 49:20Speaker 1: An, You're wrong, Okay, thanks, It's just that very the
- 49:30Speaker 1: keys that beat it up in in uh the sect right,
- 49:38Speaker 1: like the fact that what what was the strongest archiving
- 49:42Speaker 1: in that got taken away?
- 49:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I will say that this still surprised me that
- 49:50Speaker 2: there's only one Woe deck, and I know Talk really
- 49:55Speaker 2: just was. It wasn't in Vietnam, so it didn't provide
- 50:00Speaker 2: a large pool of decks that was coming from Hong Kong.
- 50:03Speaker 2: But Woe and Talk with token spam really really can
- 50:08Speaker 2: push issues p V struggles against board and so seeing
- 50:15Speaker 2: those two sets at such a low amount, I think
- 50:17Speaker 2: that's going.
- 50:18Speaker 4: To be your popular Star Alliance suite.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Eh, a star alliance there, You're not going to be.
- 50:32Speaker 4: Yes, it is going to be a struggle.
- 50:36Speaker 2: So that is one individual card, and yes it is.
- 50:44Speaker 2: It is strategic Fate recommends strategic is strategic. Go ahead
- 50:50Speaker 2: and read what strategic.
- 50:51Speaker 4: Strategic tip over the top card of your deck. Whatever
- 50:55Speaker 4: it is. You can't play types of that card.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Correct, So that could be an action, it could be
- 51:02Speaker 2: a creature, or it could be an artifactoring the now.
- 51:07Speaker 4: Yes, life for it is also in set.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Now I will I will go ahead and say, I
- 51:14Speaker 2: don't know about the three of you guys, but looking
- 51:17Speaker 2: at Starlinks, Starlines has some ridiculous fates. There's no question
- 51:21Speaker 2: about their cars.
- 51:23Speaker 4: It's got.
- 51:25Speaker 2: It has it has the leader that but but a
- 51:33Speaker 2: lot of the cards in that house are poopoo, man,
- 51:37Speaker 2: they are they.
- 51:37Speaker 4: Have the cards themselves are poopo. But they have the
- 51:40Speaker 4: best fates.
- 51:43Speaker 5: So when you're looking at like, how do I just
- 51:46Speaker 5: yun this card underneath the how do I just get
- 51:48Speaker 5: rid of this house? Hey, so I think too to
- 51:53Speaker 5: uh two prophecy cards to just tuck them under weird.
- 51:58Speaker 2: That's two. I still think that it is problematic.
- 52:02Speaker 4: I do see that Star War two is more than enough.
- 52:06Speaker 5: If you're having two pop off, even once a turn,
- 52:11Speaker 5: you're getting one of your fate, one of your prophecies
- 52:14Speaker 5: to pop off. I think two is more than enough
- 52:16Speaker 5: to consider those archives that you're not allowed, that your
- 52:19Speaker 5: opponent is not allowed to touch.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Right now, we will see we've got a couple more
- 52:28Speaker 2: of all tours coming up. So I will say that
- 52:31Speaker 2: for Vietnam, you had PV that actually did take it.
- 52:35Speaker 2: That was knee again, which is the World Champ deck.
- 52:39Speaker 2: And part of that falls with when we look at
- 52:42Speaker 2: what were the top.
- 52:43Speaker 4: Cards top cards. Sorry, yeah, I'm not doing my job.
- 52:50Speaker 4: Top cards starting out with sixteen in here somewhere.
- 52:57Speaker 5: I don't know what just happened there. I think a
- 52:58Speaker 5: small spent on the rug two sixteen in here somewheres.
- 53:03Speaker 5: I mean it says rock that is a rick.
- 53:06Speaker 2: Look at how you had thirty one ARCon decks and
- 53:10Speaker 2: there were sixteen in here somewheres.
- 53:14Speaker 4: Yeah that is over half.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy. And roor Chris's self had.
- 53:22Speaker 5: Well it's over here. It's over that because in here
- 53:24Speaker 5: summer was only in gr and number skies. I don't
- 53:28Speaker 5: believe it's in pv AM. I wrong, Yeah, yeah, it's
- 53:29Speaker 5: not in PV.
- 53:31Speaker 4: You're correct, so there's no Guystone m PVV. Right. Yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 4: so thirteen thirteen decks between aver Skys and gr.
- 53:40Speaker 5: So each one had at least while and it says
- 53:43Speaker 5: here your crystal itself had foreign deck, So.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Yeah, multiples is real good.
- 53:51Speaker 5: Reideration was number two with fourteen. Uh, Scorpion had eleven.
- 53:58Speaker 5: I have a feeling that just deals with because diss
- 54:01Speaker 5: I don't know what Scorpion does off top of head.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Is the when he reaps, he does two damage to
- 54:08Speaker 1: enemy creature for each disc neighbor of his.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Okay, but it should be a it should be a
- 54:13Speaker 2: common disc card if I'm correct.
- 54:15Speaker 4: Scorpion is a it just getting to be there. Yeah,
- 54:21Speaker 4: it happened to be there. Traumatic Echo had ten.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Busted card people may be choosing to use.
- 54:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that is a busted card. Junk Restoration ten another
- 54:34Speaker 4: busted card, Predatory Lending nine, Sheep's favorite card Urchin nine
- 54:44Speaker 4: pandit Culver had eight, out Flank had eight, and Broken
- 54:49Speaker 4: Intent had eight. So outside of all the top houses
- 54:55Speaker 4: Sanctum cards appeared, the most top rare was Trenk's Creed Yep,
- 55:05Speaker 4: no surprise, not a one I'm not surprised. So actually,
- 55:11Speaker 4: so let's let's look at so what would be interesting.
- 55:15Speaker 4: Let me pull it up.
- 55:16Speaker 1: So if we go to the first our kind of
- 55:19Speaker 1: event where Trunk's screed was in the cop.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean there's only been one other where
- 55:28Speaker 4: it was really available. I guess two, right for I
- 55:31Speaker 4: guess Paris right. But all right, so if we look,
- 55:36Speaker 4: if we look at reiteration, I'm pretty sure we gave
- 55:38Speaker 4: that a five. Right, let's sit here, reiteration. I yeah,
- 55:42Speaker 4: I think we if we did it, which should be
- 55:45Speaker 4: a five, reiteration, we gave a five, although Wookie gave
- 55:50Speaker 4: it a six, but I reiteration real good. I really
- 55:54Speaker 4: like reiteration. So scorpion we should have rated well because
- 56:00Speaker 4: house Pip. But what we actually do.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Well.
- 56:05Speaker 4: We gave it a three, but Drascore and Sheep tried
- 56:09Speaker 4: to give it a four. What you tried to give
- 56:10Speaker 4: it a two? Scorpion, scorpion, scorpions, so three three? Traumatic
- 56:19Speaker 4: echo that one? That one we gave high at least
- 56:22Speaker 4: a five. If I hope I spelled that, I'm just
- 56:29Speaker 4: spell echo, we give it a five. Okay, okay, all right,
- 56:37Speaker 4: so these are all good cards. Junk restoration. Right, that
- 56:39Speaker 4: was that's definitely still up there. Five fee predatory lending.
- 56:46Speaker 4: I don't think we did shadow that. We haven't done
- 56:47Speaker 4: that one yet.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Predator. We haven't done predatory lending.
- 56:51Speaker 4: Real good though, which was that.
- 56:58Speaker 1: You damaged everything?
- 57:00Speaker 4: No, you got to pay your opponent a number every
- 57:06Speaker 4: time you play a card. Now, let me see is
- 57:12Speaker 4: it predatory We could just look this up. Isn't the
- 57:14Speaker 4: one where you have to pay your opponent for each
- 57:16Speaker 4: shadows they have or something? No, guys, guess what predatory
- 57:21Speaker 4: lending is an action? It's a shadows action with an
- 57:24Speaker 4: amber pit. Play exalt in and rage an enemy creature
- 57:28Speaker 4: or fate. Pay your opponent one for each enemy shadows creature.
- 57:32Speaker 4: There you go say, we'll get there, eventually, I can
- 57:36Speaker 4: do this. We'll figure we'll figure out what that is.
- 57:40Speaker 2: M Well, we can actually give you that feedback right away.
- 57:46Speaker 4: The Urchin's car bandit culver that one. We haven't done
- 57:52Speaker 4: shadows yet.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Yeah, we haven't done shadows, but sheep, how do you
- 57:55Speaker 2: feel about urchin.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Medium oker card these days?
- 58:01Speaker 2: It really is. I I know that it shows up
- 58:04Speaker 2: as a common Yes, steel is there and you have
- 58:07Speaker 2: a delta of too. But the short answer is it
- 58:09Speaker 2: becomes a liability with abilities like Tryin' screed to throw
- 58:13Speaker 2: Amber onto little Urchin. There are times that yes, you
- 58:18Speaker 2: want to play Urchin, and there are times where you're
- 58:20Speaker 2: just like, Nope, I'm going to discard this.
- 58:22Speaker 5: Well, it depends on what they have on their board,
- 58:24Speaker 5: right like it depends on what's in there art Creature
- 58:27Speaker 5: on the board.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Nine times out of ten.
- 58:30Speaker 2: It depends on what their ARCon deck actually shows and
- 58:35Speaker 2: what they're what what their their route to victory is.
- 58:39Speaker 2: So being able to look at an ARCon read it
- 58:41Speaker 2: is important. But Urchin, I think just falls similar to
- 58:44Speaker 2: Scorpion it being a common card in dis or in
- 58:48Speaker 2: this case shadows.
- 58:55Speaker 4: Is what does broken intent do? Is it a Saurian card?
- 59:00Speaker 4: H that's the one where you you know that's a
- 59:02Speaker 4: Sanctum card. That's the onehere you'd either purge an action
- 59:06Speaker 4: or or each card player discard their archives and there's
- 59:10Speaker 4: an album an action. So this impact on gr is
- 59:16Speaker 4: pretty brutal when each player discards their archives. Now there's
- 59:19Speaker 4: no Amber gains, so it's still, in my opinion, a
- 59:24Speaker 4: choice where I'm gonna throw my cards in my archives
- 59:27Speaker 4: and if you have it, great, I'll discard them. If not,
- 59:30Speaker 4: I'm going to go out and play them. But I
- 59:34Speaker 4: think most players outside of gr are looking at the
- 59:37Speaker 4: purge in action card in a discard pile. I don't
- 59:43Speaker 4: know I wrote down three, but this was the episode
- 59:45Speaker 4: I wasn't on my I was on my phone for
- 59:47Speaker 4: so I don't know what you guys said for broken intent. Yeah,
- 59:52Speaker 4: he walks into four. He was the only one to
- 59:53Speaker 4: put in. I don't remember when I gave it.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I stand by my four. Yeah, I think that
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: it really I mean, I like the dual choice cards
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: where he gets flexibility. I think that dis purging an
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: action card is really critical. But so I put it
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: above the standard three. But I don't think that it's
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: absolutely game breaking. I think four is appropriate.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Well for would mean it's good, Yes, it is good. Yeah,
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: that's not bad. I was just saying three is the
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: middle of the road, and four.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: We have.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: I have to have Sheep's little little handy dandy advice
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: counter in front of me.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: I will argue that Bandit Culver has actually grown on
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: me the more that I've played PV especially Oh yeah.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Bandon Culver is a semi witch level status.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: The problem is yeah, the problem all right.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: So Bandi Culver says, after you discard a Shadows card,
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: it's the first time you've discarded a Shadows card. That
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: turned steel that one. So you're thinking Burnish Nicols, he's garbage.
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: That's that's a negative one for burnish.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: I'm just thinking to give your opponent of artifact one.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: That's uh Bondsman, yeah, Bondsman, yeah, yeah, No, Bannon Culver
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: is very good. Yeah, and es Actually if you have
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: multiple in multiples, he gets dumber, correct you.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it is enhanced with the shadows pip, so that
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: pip is going elsewhere, but with it being common, and
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: you can end up with two or three. I can
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: discard one Shadows card and steal based on how many
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Bannon Culvers I have. So yeah, it's real good in
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: that manner. I like that.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: M big fan Bannon Culver. He is a semi witch
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: level status. So then it see, well, these are all commons,
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: aren't they. Reiteration is common, I hs is uncommon. In here,
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: in here, somewhere is common.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: It should be okay. Reiteration is common. Scorpion common, traumatic
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: echo I do not believe is common. It is common.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: Never mind, I lied to myself. Junk is common.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Yeah, these are all common, so never mind a common Yeah,
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: I was surprised in like, no cover fires, No, but
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: cover fire is uncommon.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: So far good cover fire real good?
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I thought the last common. Yeah, hoodwinks there common.
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: But but limit one, right, Yeah, somehow we figured out
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: that we we can limit one hoodwink but not a
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: lot of other things. But you know, it's only because
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: Wookie's favorite houses shadows and Luke would be don't get along.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: I mean, dude, it's still busted. It's not that busted. Uh,
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: yes it is.
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: It ain't that busted really, as opposed to Trenk's Creed.
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: Hoodwinked is busted.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: I mean it's not.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: I mean, IFK's Creed is, uh, your justification does not. Yeah,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: it does not make it right. We talked again about
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: the six point scaling going well above it.
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I just you know what I've I've got
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: a counter on my wall. It's uh, it's one of
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: those ones that you know it's digital.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: Trenk's Creed just actually gained another three points. It's at
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: twenty seven right now. In our in the in the
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: in the in the dress score.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Okay, here here's my question. Would you rather have cover
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: fire play your opponent loses half of their amber, rounding
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: down steal one or would you rather have hoodwinked? But
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: there's well, you can have aultiple cover fire or you
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: can have just the one hoodwink. That's what's there.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Well, what's the question I can have?
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: I'm yeah, like, oh, but rare rarity and how many
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: you can have a dack matters? Okay, one to one? Yes,
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: hoodwink is definitely the win over cover fire? Does it
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: still stay true if you have two? So would you
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: rather have two cover fires or hoodwink or one hoodwink?
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: I'd rather have two cover fires probably, but but that
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: that's a little tough one though, that's right. I probably
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: would have too because right now, right now, my applonent
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: has to have thirteen or no, they gonna have fourteen
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: number before I can make them lose half and steal
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: one anything else, I'm taking them off. Key, Yeah, I
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: do say that.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: For Riku, I thought it was interesting. Out of the
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: sixteen p T B deck, so meaning just over fifty
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: percent six of those head trains screen. Now, notice Sanctum
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: does not show up as any of the commons showing
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: up repeatedly.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: But we had to even make it broken intent?
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it had broken intent.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: But if you know what I'm saying, did say what
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: did sanct even make a top eight? Let me I'm
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: an hold on. Oh yeah, cage see one trading training
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: three one three, yes, three times three of the eight. Okay,
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: that means there were three trinks creeds. I didn't go through.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: I didn't go through everything. I didn't go through every deck.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: We should we talking about these decks?
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: We can multiple Yes you can again, yes you can. Yes,
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: there were three drinks, right, never mind the second place,
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: that deck definitely has a s trinks creed.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Yeah, three of the top three of the top eight
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: had it.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: So all right, so we've got here in the top eight,
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: I see one, two, three, four, five, six, uh six
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: PV an amber skies and a gr which maybe are
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: for the Yeah, yeah, it's in the show nutes. Okay,
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: look at the notes. I'm on our kind Arcado, the
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: original one. But I'll pop it in the in this
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: chat here for for our friends who are in the audience.
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: So there's there's a link. You can get it there too.
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: So at least according to Sas. We got a we
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: got a one O eight, one O three, one O two,
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: one hundred ninety nine, ninety eighty nine and eighty six.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: I don't know. But for for PV that doesn't mean much.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: So but for the high SaaS one, I see what
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: do I see here? We've got dis logo Sarian, uh,
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: Cudi Gras double and Furnace. We've got some a bunch
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: of dudes in logos, so logos bored and uh. And
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: then in.
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: Sarian it's got some good. It's got some good logo students, right,
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: wormholes not bad. Stable Dan ain't good.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: Unstable Dale, he's very good. Fate that is a creature.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Yeah he's okay, Yeah.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: He's all right. But we've got and de Gras right,
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: So those.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Are darns Emtristarns who definitely needs to die z y
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: x Italia at a chat. So all those needs, all
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: those need to die.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: You put emeritis darn as a witch status.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: I mean if you don't kill it, eventually it will
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: get out of hand, yes.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: But it is not something that if I see on
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: the board I feel I must kill the next turn, well,
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: we I will see it not and give it a
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: two of the how many got?
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: What is ameredist? What's the fact?
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: So after reap archive the top two cards of your deck,
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: he needs to die. Gotta die.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Interestingly, that seems low.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I mean that that does seem low. That seems to
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: be at least a three. I still feel that Digitalia
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: is more of a problem for me than America's start.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Really, DIGITALI is the one that is easiest to deal with.
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: It is it is?
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just saying for some reason, I always
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: see them in groupings and that I guess Captain Shaw
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: is the other one at three power elusive. That's kind
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: of a pain. But oh on the if I see emeritis, darn,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: I'm not really super worried.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's pretty good. We might underrated it. We
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: said it was two that might be undervalued. The Yeah,
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: what did we give solo solo? We gave it a four,
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: all right, because solo can be pretty dumb. Yeah, that
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: did I give it? I'm I'm I don't know, go
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: back to the spreadsheet. But I don't know if we
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: can give it more than four. But I've played against
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: a Turn one solo and it basically dominates the game.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: So yeah, the yeah, the and importantly so the prophecies
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: are decent. Right, It's got overreach. That's pretty good, early bird,
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: pretty good. Heads they win is fine, Cards will Tell
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: is not good. But it is a one four on
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: the dress score scale. Yes, so yeah, so that one,
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: I mean that one looks solid to me. It doesn't
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: jump off the page, but uh, it looks solid. It's
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: got C. I guess that is that is a thing
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: that a lot of the TV doesn't have.
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: It.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: Also, it's got that it's a tectonic shift, right, as
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: well as the other things we mentioned. So so maybe
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: that maybe that's C carried it quite a bit. All right.
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: The next one is it's one of three SaaS. It's
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: got Trink's Creed Q period something something, Trenk's Creed yep
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: shrinks Creed shrinks Creed. Yeah, Triple Trade blows. That's kind
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: of weird. It's a double is also terrible. So yeah,
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: triple Trade bowls isn't bad.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Well, you guys are going based on sass here versus
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: what finished first and second?
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: Correct?
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Well?
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: What finished? Well?
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: What I mean this was gee right, which we know about.
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: Still don't understand how that's an eighty nine SaaS deck.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: But but second was van Chi, which is a PV
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: deck that a hundred SaaS.
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: Van Che hundred sasas Yephrenk's creed. So I needed to know.
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: And it's got the gopher, but what part do you need? Yeah,
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: the gopher, we only rated it two. It's the gopher
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: is not good, but it's I mean, come on, so
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: this got a one thirty two on the dress score.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: So and she.
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's got it can purge small creatures, it's got
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: to cover fire, gone pear shape. It's fine that you
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: skipped ahead.
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: Okay, yeah we're on the second second place deck.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Yeah, what took second? And that could just be the matchups.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: But I will say the prophecies stood out here. Outlook
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: not so good. Overreach good cards will never will tell no.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: And then the end is nine no, so outlook it
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: not so good.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Board whites are very prevalent and arcan.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: That was greedy reprisal and sack of coins on there.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: There is not much wipe on that PV.
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: No, it doesn't have many boarder wipes, but it's got
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: a thunk.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Doing two damage to an enemy creature.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: Destroy an exhausted creature. Which we've seen because when you
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: play creatures, it comes in exhausted, so it can yok
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: them out.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: But that's not what the prophecies say. So outlook not
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: so good after your opponents choose an active house and
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: then overreach after an enemy creature is used to reap.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: So yes, you could reap and then it would go away,
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: but you're going to hit one creature that is not
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: super strong in my opinion.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: Yeah, this I don't know. It looks fine, but it
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: doesn't look amazing to me.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: I mean it has big stats for Amber can control
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: at twenty.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Thot Trenk's creed, why are what's all you need to know? Well,
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: that's true. One card c Yeah, I would say one
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: one card can make an entire dock worth playing.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: I disagree about that. I think it makes it more
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: interesting to play, but it does not make it playable.
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: I mean, the logos isn't bad. I mean, the logos
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: isn't bad. Right, it's perfectly fine Duck superb duc rage reset,
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: double reassembly, Chad to Italius, darn hazards ERP. I mean
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: it's got so it's got a little bit of speed
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: to find that Trenk's creed to do what you need
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: to do. I just think, I mean, and it's got
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: all the small creatures, so you know, like play your
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: big creature. That's cool. I'm just I'm going to Trink's
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: creed it and it's got a Sir Juan, which Sir
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: Juan ain't that bad, and it's it's got and it's
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: got enough of that stall bs that you can just stall, stall, stall,
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: stall till you hit the big trinks and then you
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: got to deal with it.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: So I agree with that.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: That's that's what we saw. I don't know if it
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: necessarily even needs its fates.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Well, you can benevolent charity in order to capture and
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: Sanctum you have bring low to go ahead and bring
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: down you have Sir Wand.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: Well you have enough from hand. I don't know if
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: you need your fan. I don't know if a lot
- 1:15:33Speaker 5: to see if I don't know if you see a
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: lot of these fates being used except to tuck cards
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: that you're not interested in, like Customs Office, right, most
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: of these cards you just want to play. I mean,
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: rage Rey said, is probably the only one that you're like, yep,
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: I want this to come out as a fate and
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: I mean overreach is probably your best because yep, they
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: get to read. But then you hit the ragery set.
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: So I mean a smart player is going to play
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: all their cards, then rage rees and then do it
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: if they know it. That's the only way I see
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: really because yeah, and then the cards will tell and
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: end the end.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Is nigh, is not me? Yeah, the prophecies are okay, I.
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: Mean, but again, I don't know if this deck needs
- 1:16:25Speaker 5: I don't know if it needs its fates to be
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: a good deck. Yeah, I mean, is just fighting on
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: its own. Urchin's just fighting on its own. Portocilla doesn't
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: have a fate. I mean, Chummy is not a bad fate,
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: but Jummy is good.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: I like need it.
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: Customs Office is a dead card, I guess unless you're
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: playing against a lot of artifacts.
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: But artcts this set, no, there isn't. Well, but ember
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: Skys has a bucket of them. Sure, but which is
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: a little iron facts in the top eight one, two, three, four, five,
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: There's there's five in in the six TV decks and
- 1:17:18Speaker 4: then the amber Skies has four and that Remember you
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: have a whole field you need to get through.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: So yes, that amber Sky's ton did take top four,
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: and Kai the PV took top four, So those are
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: your other two decks. So amber Skies did show up
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: in the top four.
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: Yep, I still really enjoy amber Skies. Hey, I think
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: it's a ton of fun.
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Nobody talked about the fact that, you know, Riku's wife
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: is winning all the vault tours in Vietnam.
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: It's pretty good. Nobody's talking about that the world.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: It would be good.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: What do you want to say about that?
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: Saying seems a little fishy?
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: That good? That good that good players with good decks
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: are winning.
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: Seems little fishy man who has all the decks in
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: the Vietnam is winning?
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: That's all them sounds fishy? Uh can you just play
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: along this?
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Uh? It's not.
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: Yeah, the Korean TV decks A one thirty five that's
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: pretty strong in the in the DRYAZ score. And then
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: this last one here.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: One two sass shows to.
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: Which ninety sas No, the ninety sass was the one
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: that's got the big score. What does what does gee have? Uh?
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: So do we have anything for that in our draft score?
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: I can only rate PV decks right now.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: I told you.
- 1:19:13Speaker 7: This is this is like this is a limiting to
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: you know, firing and people are like, bring the dest
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: Star to to my town, or like no, no, no,
- 1:19:23Speaker 7: you got to bring your on Calamari cruiser over here.
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: So I can do you got it?
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: I understand now. Oh but if you would like it
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: to work one day, make sure you go over to Patreon.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: Right now. All we could offer you is live streams
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: of jazz core vibe coding it. That's right. So it's
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: just him listening to Tool and talking to Chatchip a
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: lot of electronic music. Actually, oh sorry, electronic music not Tool. Yeah.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: No, Uh can I say that redemption turned up in
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: pev for this. There's a deck with redemption in boys.
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: I don't know how that is. Oh yeah, I love
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: that you're failings Vietnam mistakes happen. Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: The redemption is a total of twenty seven. So that's
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: not a very high score for for the Z score.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: Oh okay, I was gonna say, there's whole bunch of
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: ones in here, because it's a night.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: It's a nineteen sas.
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: So sad sas Yeah I was seventeen, but yeah, either way,
