- 0:05Speaker 1: Get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and tick top
- 0:09Speaker 1: for raw targets four to siln every weekday on radio Recka.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Tiss tists one two.
- 0:17Speaker 3: How are you sounding? You sound fine to me?
- 0:21Speaker 2: Fells backbone, backbone.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I tell you what.
- 0:24Speaker 4: We're here at the Chasing the Fox and probably the
- 0:29Speaker 4: most bizarre set that we've ever been set up in.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I was trying to think of one other.
- 0:33Speaker 5: Well, there was that one of the where the set
- 0:35Speaker 5: up was that we told no one we were coming
- 0:36Speaker 5: down and then we did it in the bar that
- 0:39Speaker 5: was empty with one man reading.
- 0:40Speaker 2: A novel in front of us.
- 0:41Speaker 3: That's right, Yeah, that's right, I believe, yes, yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 5: But what's happened is we've We've got this amazing spot,
- 0:48Speaker 5: the Heineken silver like backdrop right behind the eighteenth tea box,
- 0:54Speaker 5: best spot in the whole house, and.
- 0:55Speaker 3: A little final hole great straight down the gap. This
- 1:00Speaker 3: is the hole that is televised on TV and ED.
- 1:04Speaker 5: I actually thought it was all of them one, just
- 1:07Speaker 5: this one and right behind with our teeing off as
- 1:09Speaker 5: a window cut.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Out where we were sitting.
- 1:10Speaker 5: We were sitting with microphones set up just watching the
- 1:13Speaker 5: whole thing. It's so windy that we are now on
- 1:16Speaker 5: a picnic table behind the setup, so we nothing, We
- 1:20Speaker 5: can see nothing, but at least the wind isn't in
- 1:22Speaker 5: our face.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it's ship.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Well, I've got to say yeah, because we played earlier today,
- 1:25Speaker 4: didn't we fellas and she has been blowing a kind
- 1:28Speaker 4: of gale most of the day. Ruined are some absolutely
- 1:32Speaker 4: sublime shots from all of us. Yeah, I mean, just
- 1:35Speaker 4: straight down the guts and then the wind caught it
- 1:38Speaker 4: and took it into the bush or into the water
- 1:41Speaker 4: or into this long grass or into the mangroves. Mangroves. Yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 4: I'm really intrigued by the shirts we were running here. Actually,
- 1:51Speaker 4: I mean, I'm running a kind of regular hoidy j
- 1:54Speaker 4: I don't even know.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I mean, it's my favorite one. It's a hearing.
- 1:58Speaker 4: I'm intrigued by your guys. Shit, they're very I don't
- 2:01Speaker 4: know how to describe them.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Well, I guess the thing is this is also sort
- 2:06Speaker 6: of doubling as our interview work party, isn't it. Yes,
- 2:09Speaker 6: that's right, So this is sort of a slightly more
- 2:11Speaker 6: this is sort of looks a little marginally unsuited.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I think it.
- 2:14Speaker 6: Actually we've probably been addressed for the golf course that
- 2:17Speaker 6: we're atkes. Yes, yes, it's a more not the sort
- 2:21Speaker 6: of thing i'd wear into work.
- 2:23Speaker 3: No at all. Normally wear you're tidy whitey and it's
- 2:27Speaker 3: not appropriate here.
- 2:28Speaker 6: So I've covered up to tidy whitey with this, with
- 2:30Speaker 6: this stripey ribbed sort of ship.
- 2:33Speaker 3: It is very ribbed, just like a mesh. It's like
- 2:38Speaker 3: a mesh.
- 2:38Speaker 5: So Jason, this is what you're seeing here is my
- 2:40Speaker 5: euro get up. Okay, So imagine me in Tuscany in
- 2:44Speaker 5: a piazza.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Which is a plaza, yes, wondering around.
- 2:48Speaker 5: It's nine pm. We just started to think about having dinner.
- 2:50Speaker 5: I've got a white thing underneath tucked into my shorts.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that's kind of weird.
- 2:53Speaker 5: And then an open sort of year like why you've
- 2:55Speaker 5: got ribbon on your yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 3: No, or mesh so you're left out there. Yeah, but
- 3:04Speaker 3: that's that. Could I wear this.
- 3:05Speaker 4: In a prza, keysy, a piazza, a pia only if
- 3:09Speaker 4: you had your your butt you have to be unbuttoned
- 3:11Speaker 4: a little bit more.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Down more chest, okay, and you'd have to have like
- 3:15Speaker 5: a gold chain or something, and you'd have to have
- 3:18Speaker 5: a glass of wine in one hand whilst talking and
- 3:20Speaker 5: moving your hands along.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not going to dart, I reckon, I reckon.
- 3:23Speaker 3: That would suit me quite well.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Actually, well that kind of setup, I could do some
- 3:27Speaker 4: gold chains and the Darry I think so.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I mean, that's what you're already doing, just with a
- 3:31Speaker 2: gold chain.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And also our view. Now I've just noticed as portal loos.
- 3:37Speaker 5: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarchy,
- 3:42Speaker 5: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy tune
- 3:46Speaker 5: in days.
- 3:46Speaker 3: And four on radio. One of the most beautiful courses
- 3:50Speaker 3: you'll ever see. And we're looking at portals. That's right.
- 3:53Speaker 6: It is a bit of a bastard that this is
- 3:54Speaker 6: how it's worked out and we are we're going to
- 3:59Speaker 6: see humanity that's worse. I think as a day progresses,
- 4:02Speaker 6: there are going to be some absolutely leathered individuals to
- 4:05Speaker 6: their credit here, Unlike most events that are run in
- 4:08Speaker 6: New Zealand, there's a bar every ten meters. Yeah, there's
- 4:11Speaker 6: a thousand portaloos. Yeah, so they're having a win. They're
- 4:16Speaker 6: already in my eyes, Well up, Muggie.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Just on that front, I was actually just walking around
- 4:20Speaker 4: and a young lady came up to me and said
- 4:22Speaker 4: would you like a drink? And I went, oh, yes,
- 4:24Speaker 4: thank you, And I said what is it?
- 4:25Speaker 3: And she was like.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Vodka and cranberry or something, and I went, oh, oh no,
- 4:30Speaker 4: thanks then thanks, but you're right, I'm picking there'll be
- 4:34Speaker 4: a few, maybe sort of.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Just later on.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Perhaps there's a quite steamy there's a lot of alcohol around.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Who watched Pismatic Silver Lounge which is one of.
- 5:00Speaker 7: The maybe three tables up there, and it's sitting right
- 5:08Speaker 7: above the tea box, so you're looking straight down the
- 5:10Speaker 7: final hole here, and they've just been served with buckets
- 5:13Speaker 7: of beer and ice, and the boys are absolutely fizzing
- 5:17Speaker 7: for it.
- 5:17Speaker 6: The guy that actually won it, he is meant to
- 5:21Speaker 6: be at his own work too, he said, nap, I'm
- 5:23Speaker 6: not going to that.
- 5:25Speaker 4: From recollection, recollection, recollection.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Weren't they wasn't one of them a greenkeeper? He is?
- 5:32Speaker 6: He is a greenkeeper. The guy that one absolutely is.
- 5:36Speaker 6: Then he is absolutely frothing it. And the guy has
- 5:38Speaker 6: brought used to be a greenkeeper as well. So they
- 5:40Speaker 6: love their golf and he said he just rides around
- 5:43Speaker 6: all day and listens to our podcast How Good Far Out.
- 5:46Speaker 2: It's not good for you.
- 5:48Speaker 5: The interesting thing is the price that they've got, the seats,
- 5:51Speaker 5: they've got, the location, the cost to be in the
- 5:54Speaker 5: VIP tense further down there not as good. Also with
- 5:57Speaker 5: three people, more people, a lot more people queuing up
- 6:01Speaker 5: about five hundred bucks.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, so this.
- 6:05Speaker 5: Is like you get to watch it over the shoulder
- 6:07Speaker 5: of the people teeing off to hell good failers, sucking
- 6:13Speaker 5: awesome And for them to be able to do that
- 6:16Speaker 5: and then look over their shoulder down and we're on
- 6:17Speaker 5: a picnic table behind them.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I mean that is That's an amazing prize, isn't it.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Yeah, well, you know, as Maggie's head. I mean, I
- 6:24Speaker 4: think the set up here is really nice and already
- 6:26Speaker 4: the people are because I think it kicks off officially
- 6:28Speaker 4: at five point thirty. And I can tell you actually
- 6:31Speaker 4: on that front, there were some very nervous players knowing
- 6:37Speaker 4: that they get their golf game is going to be
- 6:39Speaker 4: televised to millions of people.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Bryce for example, Bryce.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Casey from The Rock. He I had a little chat
- 6:47Speaker 4: to him out the front. He was shitting himself.
- 6:49Speaker 7: Well.
- 6:49Speaker 5: The issue with that because Bryce is a he grew
- 6:52Speaker 5: up playing golf like he's a good golfer. But and
- 6:55Speaker 5: the thing that he's done incorrectly is think that anyone's expecting.
- 7:00Speaker 2: We don't like.
- 7:01Speaker 5: I would get more joy out of seeing Jeremy Wells, Diehindwood.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And Bryce Casey all sliced it into the crowd. That's
- 7:06Speaker 2: what I want to see.
- 7:07Speaker 5: And if one of them just so happens to get
- 7:09Speaker 5: it anywhere vaguely near the green, great.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Or smack it, you know, because I remember one famous
- 7:15Speaker 4: video of this and it was with John care We
- 7:16Speaker 4: talked about it the other day where he was driving
- 7:19Speaker 4: and he smacked it straight into the crowd. Yes, and
- 7:22Speaker 4: at full tap too. I was surprised to learn actually
- 7:25Speaker 4: that he'd had a hole in one in this this.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Competition are of that is pretty amazing actually, And he
- 7:30Speaker 6: had to and that really set the Chasing the Fox
- 7:33Speaker 6: on fire.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Having it was his first year of a hole in one. Wow.
- 7:36Speaker 6: The big problem that you've gotten an event like this
- 7:39Speaker 6: is there's thousands of people and he had to shout
- 7:42Speaker 6: the clubhouse as his tradition when we get a hole
- 7:44Speaker 6: in one, and it cost him tens of thousands of.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Dollars, we'll be honest afford it. Yeah, if anyone's going
- 7:51Speaker 5: to do it.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Tell you how much sympathy I've got from Yeah, zap.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Jase, if you had a hole in one, you're probably
- 7:57Speaker 5: the only other person that could afford.
- 7:58Speaker 4: It, right, Yeah, probably probably everyone that's here today. Actually,
- 8:02Speaker 4: to be honest with you.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Exactly money going around this joint.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Yes, well, that's what I was saying.
- 8:06Speaker 5: It is a bit like It's obviously great, but it's
- 8:08Speaker 5: a weird vibe, especially the after parties and things, because
- 8:11Speaker 5: you've got the who's who have like important, well known people, yes,
- 8:14Speaker 5: and then you've got the who's who are very wealthy
- 8:16Speaker 5: people who hate to be there.
- 8:18Speaker 2: That's right, It's a really weird vibe.
- 8:20Speaker 5: And so to be honest, I'm probably gonna have as
- 8:23Speaker 5: many free beers as i can watch the event and
- 8:25Speaker 5: probably not hang around for the after party, going.
- 8:27Speaker 6: Well, well, yeah, I've never been to this thing before,
- 8:30Speaker 6: but that sounds like about what I'll be doing.
- 8:32Speaker 2: To be honest.
- 8:33Speaker 5: To be fair, I did stay for about an hour
- 8:35Speaker 5: and a half last time, right, and it was sweet
- 8:36Speaker 5: and you find you know, you find a few people
- 8:38Speaker 5: that you have a young too. But yeah, it just
- 8:40Speaker 5: gets a bit weird when it's all the big names
- 8:42Speaker 5: and the rich people hanging out here.
- 8:45Speaker 4: I've got a bit of a headache as soon as
- 8:47Speaker 4: we've done them up.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I've got one too. It's the breeze and the glare.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I think it was super tight hat on my.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I like that you're sticking to the hat though you
- 8:58Speaker 2: were sticking to the hair.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Well.
- 8:59Speaker 6: I took it off, but then now I'm getting blasts
- 9:01Speaker 6: in the face with the I don't want people out
- 9:03Speaker 6: there the thing we're not grateful. Yet another example of
- 9:07Speaker 6: the Big Show getting an opportunity to do something that
- 9:09Speaker 6: people very really get to do, and so I am
- 9:12Speaker 6: very very grateful.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Fucking listen to that word though, man.
- 9:15Speaker 6: I've listened to the fat Beats. I think PAGs is
- 9:17Speaker 6: on the DJ set because there's nine songs playing at once.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Well, listen, fellas. That's that's enough for the podcast outro
- 9:23Speaker 2: the music.
- 9:24Speaker 3: You guys, Yeah, we love you man, I love you.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Oh we love you man, love you, Man, love you,
- 9:33Speaker 4: Thanks man.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Big Show four or seven weekdays Radio heard
- 9:37Speaker 3: Big Are Wheeze For Funck's sake,
