- 1:14Speaker 1: Hall of Fame.
- 1:14Speaker 3: To be perfectly honest with you, and.
- 1:16Speaker 1: You know these shows, it's me performing the voices of
- 1:19Speaker 1: the different guests. Ted Bell is one of them, and
- 1:22Speaker 1: the people who call in, they're real people thinking they're
- 1:25Speaker 1: talking to real people. Sometimes I wonder when I'm talking
- 1:28Speaker 1: to myself, am I talking.
- 1:30Speaker 3: To a real people?
- 1:31Speaker 1: That's great anyway, So tonight we have Ted Bell from
- 1:35Speaker 1: April of two thousand and five. Ted at his most
- 1:37Speaker 1: arrogant in this show as he talks about the fact
- 1:39Speaker 1: that while some people fly first class, he flies charter
- 1:43Speaker 1: jets and that really impresses women, and in particular he's
- 1:47Speaker 1: very attracted to young black women who are impressed by that.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And his white wife Marcy wouldn't mind at all.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Here's still Henry.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Stage House. Come on, everybody for tend Beverly Hills. Say
- 2:06Speaker 2: what do you do it for Brother's Day? Tell you
- 2:08Speaker 2: what you got to bring your mom down at? Ted
- 2:09Speaker 2: to Beverly Hills. Who got a lean light ham that
- 2:11Speaker 2: we're cooking up? We cook it for six straight days
- 2:14Speaker 2: and then we throw it on your table? Do you
- 2:17Speaker 2: want to be on me?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Teds of Beverly Hills sponsors this portion of the Phil
- 2:23Speaker 1: Henry Show. Ted Bell is the owner of Ted's of
- 2:25Speaker 1: Beverly Hills. And we're talking a little bit here about travel.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And I know that you were mentioning this with Craig Lincoln,
- 2:31Speaker 1: who's one of your vps over there.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I was, well, I wasn't mentioning it specifically Phil. To Craig.
- 2:37Speaker 2: We were at a party the other night for Josh Gould,
- 2:40Speaker 2: the director, and I was standing with Craig Lincoln, as
- 2:43Speaker 2: you mentioned Phil, Craig's one of our vice presidents, and
- 2:46Speaker 2: he was with a very attractive young lady and he
- 2:49Speaker 2: was she heads up a telecommunications company of some kind,
- 2:54Speaker 2: and he was talking to her about how he flies
- 2:57Speaker 2: first class, and he flies first asked to Chicago, he
- 3:00Speaker 2: goes back to some of our stores in Miami, and
- 3:05Speaker 2: I sat there sort of with my job and you know,
- 3:09Speaker 2: wondering if this is a man who works for me,
- 3:11Speaker 2: if he understands protocol. And let me tell you what
- 3:13Speaker 2: I'm talking about. A lot of people fly first class.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I'm sure there's a great many people in your audience
- 3:18Speaker 2: right now who fly first class. But that you know,
- 3:23Speaker 2: it's interesting how many people think that's the best way
- 3:26Speaker 2: to travel and that's the best accommodation. Okay, The fact is,
- 3:31Speaker 2: phil you know, thank God, and I do thank God
- 3:33Speaker 2: and my Savior and Jesus Christ for the good luck
- 3:37Speaker 2: that I've had in my life and the good fortune
- 3:40Speaker 2: I can afford because of the success I've had a business.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I fly by private charter jet. Okay, it's a very
- 3:47Speaker 2: efficient way to travel.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Well it's I don't do it myself. But you just
- 3:52Speaker 3: drive right up to the plane, right, That's exactly correct.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You you chartered the you chartered the jet. You drive
- 3:58Speaker 2: right up. And that's how I and there are a
- 4:01Speaker 2: few of us who can afford to do that. And
- 4:03Speaker 2: as I said, I thank God and I've had some
- 4:05Speaker 2: good breaks along the way in my life, and I've
- 4:06Speaker 2: been successful and so I fly by private charter jets.
- 4:10Speaker 2: So here is Craig talking to this very very attractive
- 4:14Speaker 2: young African American woman and she's very enamored of him.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Well, was he hitting on her at this party or something?
- 4:22Speaker 1: I'm sorry, was he like trying to pick her? I'm
- 4:24Speaker 1: not pick her up, but was he hitting on her?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah? He was interested. He was very interested in her,
- 4:28Speaker 2: and she looked like she was very interested in him.
- 4:31Speaker 2: And he's saying, well, I fly first class, and I'm
- 4:33Speaker 2: sort of waiting. I'm his boss, and I'm waiting for
- 4:35Speaker 2: him to say or at least to introduce me, so
- 4:38Speaker 2: I could mention to her that I fly by private
- 4:42Speaker 2: charter jet because there is a very big difference.
- 4:43Speaker 3: All right, But why did you need to tell her this?
- 4:48Speaker 2: Because he was impressing her with his I fly first
- 4:51Speaker 2: class conversation. But I fly by a private charter jet.
- 4:55Speaker 2: There's very few of us who do that.
- 4:58Speaker 3: And yeah, but he's he he's hitting on this chick.
- 5:01Speaker 3: You know you're married.
- 5:03Speaker 2: No, No, no, I very happily married Phil twenty one
- 5:05Speaker 2: years this coming August, and we've got two beautiful daughters,
- 5:08Speaker 2: Marcy and I. But no, this is a vanity thing
- 5:10Speaker 2: a man wants, especially a beautiful young black woman. You know,
- 5:15Speaker 2: it's a thing you want to impress a woman. And
- 5:19Speaker 2: I kept waiting for him to say, you know, I
- 5:22Speaker 2: fly first class, but my boss, mister Bell here is
- 5:25Speaker 2: in the head of our company, a CEO of our company.
- 5:27Speaker 2: He flies by private charter jet. But he didn't even
- 5:29Speaker 2: have the decency to do that. He didn't have the
- 5:31Speaker 2: common decency to say, I fly first class, but he
- 5:35Speaker 2: goes to the private charter jet.
- 5:37Speaker 1: But I don't understand why you needed to impress her.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I understand the vanity thing. But you're married.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I am married.
- 5:44Speaker 2: But I mentioned here that she is. She was a
- 5:47Speaker 2: young black woman. I forget her name, but she was
- 5:48Speaker 2: very beautiful, and so that's why I was trying to
- 5:53Speaker 2: impress her by the.
- 5:54Speaker 3: What does that have to do with it? The fact
- 5:57Speaker 3: that she's yeah, that she's African American.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Well, when you're married, you're married. But Caucasian women understand.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I think they understand. I'm sure that they that most
- 6:07Speaker 2: women understand who are married to white men, that white
- 6:10Speaker 2: men have and as you could say, we have an
- 6:13Speaker 2: interest in black women. And so it's it's not quite.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I don't think Marcie would see it the same way.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Well wait a minute, man, your wife if she saw
- 6:25Speaker 1: you hitting on any woman regardless of her color.
- 6:28Speaker 2: No, let me tell you. Caucasian women, and you're married
- 6:31Speaker 2: to a white woman, I am. Yes, they want you
- 6:34Speaker 2: to be loyal. Yes, they want you to absolutely be
- 6:37Speaker 2: loyal to them, but they understand. I think all white
- 6:41Speaker 2: women understand on a level that their husbands, their white
- 6:44Speaker 2: husbands have We all have an attraction to black women.
- 6:48Speaker 2: You know that as well as I do. You had
- 6:51Speaker 2: a long standing relationship with it with one, didn't you
- 6:54Speaker 2: with one? Yeah? I had.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I was with Yvonne for three years.
- 6:59Speaker 1: But I am married now Maria, who is Caucasian, as
- 7:01Speaker 1: you mentioned, and I'm not going to I'm not going
- 7:04Speaker 1: to cheat on her, is what I'd say it.
- 7:07Speaker 2: No. I I am very sure that if you expressed
- 7:13Speaker 2: to Maria the fact that as a Caucasian we have
- 7:18Speaker 2: in us something from birth, a DNA or something where
- 7:24Speaker 2: we have interest in.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Black women, your wife is not going to understand it.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Man. I don't think you. I don't think you really
- 7:32Speaker 2: quite get it. Phil. But really I didn't want to
- 7:35Speaker 2: talk about that.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Well, I see you wanted to impress this this this
- 7:39Speaker 1: lady by saying that you, yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I fly a private I fly by private charter jet.
- 7:44Speaker 2: How many people do you know that fly by private
- 7:45Speaker 2: charter jet?
- 7:47Speaker 3: You and the guy that wrote for our pilot And that's.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It, all right, two guys, right, all right? That is
- 7:54Speaker 2: a very rare thing. So that when you are at
- 7:56Speaker 2: a party and you're talking to a young lady, a
- 7:59Speaker 2: young lady you may to impress, and there's a guy
- 8:02Speaker 2: there going on and on about how he flies first class.
- 8:06Speaker 2: You know, you want to just say to him, okay,
- 8:09Speaker 2: would you shut up and tell her about me? And
- 8:12Speaker 2: he works for me? All right?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Ted Bell is with us from Ted's Beverly Hills. We're
- 8:18Speaker 1: talking about we're talking about travel. But you've got me
- 8:20Speaker 1: intrigues here about this whole idea that your wife will
- 8:24Speaker 1: understand if you cheat with I don't think.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Look, I'm not encouraging men to cheat. I'm just saying
- 8:32Speaker 2: white women, our wives understand that as men, we have
- 8:38Speaker 2: a you know, there's there's some interest there and so
- 8:42Speaker 2: I think it's natural at a party. This is all
- 8:44Speaker 2: I'm saying. It's natural at a party that if you're
- 8:45Speaker 2: talking to a beautiful young black woman who is a professional.
- 8:49Speaker 2: She's excellent in her field, and you're gonna want to
- 8:53Speaker 2: impress her. Can you tell me that when you see
- 8:57Speaker 2: an attractive young black lady you don't try to impress her.
- 9:00Speaker 3: It depends on the situation.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Man, I'm not I'm not going to do it at
- 9:02Speaker 1: the expense of my of my marriage.
- 9:05Speaker 2: But you are interested. There is interest there, There.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Is interest there. There's interest there because she's beautiful.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Well, I'm telling you that as white men, we have
- 9:14Speaker 2: an Let me let me tell you, I haven't feel
- 9:15Speaker 2: like I Let to tell a little story and maybe
- 9:18Speaker 2: you read about it in the in the history books.
- 9:19Speaker 2: There's a guy who the named Thomas Jefferson, and Thomas
- 9:23Speaker 2: Jefferson had a very devoted love affair with a black woman.
- 9:31Speaker 2: And Thomas Jefferson's wife got it. She understood, now, Jefferson
- 9:36Speaker 2: was married and he would get together with this black gal.
- 9:42Speaker 2: And because his wife understood that, as a white man,
- 9:47Speaker 2: he was drawn to what we sometimes refer to as
- 9:50Speaker 2: the nubi and queen or the beautiful Nubian princess or
- 9:54Speaker 2: what have you, is that it wasn't the same thing.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You're you're telling me that a white woman married to
- 10:01Speaker 1: a white man who otherwise would never want him to
- 10:05Speaker 1: cheat if he did with a black woman.
- 10:08Speaker 2: She'd get it absolutely. I don't think it surprises me
- 10:11Speaker 2: that you don't understand this.
- 10:13Speaker 1: And so anyway, you're at this party trying to impress
- 10:15Speaker 1: this girl by saying, you fly by private charter jet.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Well ahead, look at what I fly by private charter jet.
- 10:22Speaker 2: You understand that, right? Yeah, you get that?
- 10:24Speaker 3: Yes, I got that all right.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Very few people do that. So when I've got some
- 10:29Speaker 2: bag of gas like Craig Lincoln, who's a great guy
- 10:31Speaker 2: and one of my hardest working executives. But he's going
- 10:34Speaker 2: on and oh, I fly for his class, and this
- 10:37Speaker 2: young lady is very impressed, I'm thinking if she's impressed
- 10:41Speaker 2: with that.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Then she's going to be impressed hearing that you fly
- 10:45Speaker 1: a charter jet. Yes, you don't fly yourself.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Do you? No, Bill, I don't fly aways. No, No,
- 10:50Speaker 2: you have a pilot flight for you. You churn her to
- 10:52Speaker 2: a private charter okay.
- 10:55Speaker 3: So, and did you ever have the chance to talk
- 10:57Speaker 3: to this girl?
- 10:58Speaker 2: I had. Finally, I did have the opportunity. I told Craig,
- 11:01Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I'd said to Craig on Monday morning,
- 11:03Speaker 2: I had him in the office. You know, I really
- 11:05Speaker 2: reward my people well, but when they screw up, when
- 11:08Speaker 2: when people make a mistake, I let him know it
- 11:10Speaker 2: and I let him have it. Monday morning, I got about,
- 11:13Speaker 2: i'd say, an inch away from his face, and I
- 11:15Speaker 2: screamed at him. I said to him, don't you ever
- 11:22Speaker 2: do that to me again. I mean, I let him
- 11:25Speaker 2: have it with both barrels. I streamed at him and
- 11:28Speaker 2: they could hear it.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And I don't care, Well, what are you young at him?
- 11:32Speaker 5: For?
- 11:32Speaker 2: Man the protocol? He should have said, Yes, I fly
- 11:36Speaker 2: for his class. This is the CEO of our company,
- 11:38Speaker 2: my boss, Ted Beell. I'd like to introduce it to him.
- 11:41Speaker 2: He flies in a private he flies private charters. And
- 11:45Speaker 2: then I would have an opportunity to talk to this
- 11:47Speaker 2: young black woman and impress her. And I don't know
- 11:53Speaker 2: if anything would happen, but it is a natural thing.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And I think that you know the white women who
- 11:59Speaker 2: I'm sure the white women listening to you right now.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I don't know how many white women you have listening
- 12:03Speaker 2: to you, But I don't know what you're dem I
- 12:05Speaker 2: just I feel I don't know. Man.
- 12:07Speaker 1: If you ask my wife, hey, baby, you know I
- 12:10Speaker 1: really have interest in this black chick, and she's you're
- 12:12Speaker 1: telling me, she's gonna say, oh, well, in that case,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 12:16Speaker 2: On a level, yes, they do understand. Thomas Jefferson was
- 12:19Speaker 2: one of the fathers of Goat Kentry and he had
- 12:21Speaker 2: a black you know girlfriend and his wife. You never
- 12:28Speaker 2: read anything about her screaming about it, all right.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Ted Bell from Ted's Beverly Hills is with us a
- 12:35Speaker 1: couple of things actually weaving through our conversation tonight with Ted.
- 12:37Speaker 1: By the way, this hour The Phil Henry Show is
- 12:39Speaker 1: sponsored in part by Ted's of Beverly Hills. He apparently
- 12:44Speaker 1: was at a party and one of his one of
- 12:47Speaker 1: his subordinates, was talking about flying first class. Ted flies
- 12:50Speaker 1: by private charter jet, and he is trying to make
- 12:53Speaker 1: the I guess he's trying to emphasize that's way different
- 12:57Speaker 1: and much more expensive. And he wanted to let this
- 13:01Speaker 1: attractive black woman know that to impress her, because it
- 13:06Speaker 1: would impress her way more than this guy talking about
- 13:08Speaker 1: flying first class. Ted's married, and I know his wife, Marcy,
- 13:14Speaker 1: great lady. They got two daughters. I said, are you
- 13:17Speaker 1: serious when you talk you're interested in this black girl.
- 13:21Speaker 1: My wife is white, and white women understand when their husbands,
- 13:26Speaker 1: their white husbands are attracted to black women. It's something
- 13:29Speaker 1: that they get and that I got to tell you
- 13:32Speaker 1: right now. I think Maria, no matter what color of
- 13:33Speaker 1: the woman, I think she'd slip my throat for a farthing.
- 13:41Speaker 1: It's the Phil Henry Show.
- 13:43Speaker 3: The Phil Henry Show. I want to be a black
- 13:45Speaker 3: youth leader. And now more on the Phil Henry.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Showed stage house. Come on, everybody, Ted for Tend of
- 14:10Speaker 2: Beverly Hills. You know when you think baseball steak, think
- 14:13Speaker 2: no further than Ted's of Beverly Hills. We slow roasted
- 14:16Speaker 2: for four days. Use a great barbecue, Sae. Come on
- 14:19Speaker 2: down to jet in Beverly Hills.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Do you want to put on meeting you. We're talking
- 14:24Speaker 3: with Ted Bell from Ted's of Beverly Hills.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You fly Ted and you fly a lot on business correct,
- 14:29Speaker 1: absolutely yeah, and.
- 14:31Speaker 3: You you fly private charter jets.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Phil, as I said you before. Thanks thanks to my
- 14:38Speaker 2: Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes, I have made a
- 14:42Speaker 2: lot of money in my life and I owe it
- 14:44Speaker 2: all to the to the man upstairs and my wife Marcy.
- 14:47Speaker 2: And yes, I do fly private charter jets. But more
- 14:50Speaker 2: of the point I think is that I fly private
- 14:55Speaker 2: charter jets, I don't fly first class, and that means
- 14:58Speaker 2: that what the way I fly is a little bit
- 15:01Speaker 2: more luxurious, a little bit higher priced. When a guy
- 15:04Speaker 2: is standing in a party saying, oh, yeah, I fly
- 15:07Speaker 2: for his class, and he's impressing a beautiful young lady,
- 15:12Speaker 2: in this case, a beautiful young black lady, an executive
- 15:14Speaker 2: with a tail of communications firm, you know, you almost
- 15:18Speaker 2: want to put two fingers down your throat because you
- 15:21Speaker 2: want to say, well, big deal, I fly private charter jet.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Why don't you let me move in and start doing
- 15:26Speaker 2: some real hard work here, Let me do the heavy
- 15:29Speaker 2: lifting on this.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Well, you're talking about hitting on a chick man.
- 15:33Speaker 2: You are married, Yeah, I am married, and I love
- 15:37Speaker 2: my wife. What I'm trying to say to you is,
- 15:39Speaker 2: ask any white woman.
- 15:43Speaker 1: You're telling me that white women will say, oh, you're
- 15:46Speaker 1: hitting on a black or Okay, well I understand.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I'm not saying I'm big happy about it, but they
- 15:50Speaker 2: have more of an understanding that, yes, a lot of
- 15:52Speaker 2: white men are drawn to them.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Here's Denie. Hello, Janiese, you're on a Phil Henry show.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Hi.
- 15:57Speaker 6: How are you doing today?
- 15:58Speaker 3: Very good, ma'am?
- 15:59Speaker 6: All right, Well, I have a problem with what you're saying,
- 16:02Speaker 6: basically saying that US African young African American women are
- 16:07Speaker 6: only looking for that can prove a white man that
- 16:10Speaker 6: can provide for us. We're only gold diggers, we have
- 16:12Speaker 6: no education, and you're saying that we're.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Basically saying that that. Well, that would you allow me
- 16:18Speaker 2: to say what I'm saying instead of you taking an
- 16:20Speaker 2: implication from it? Now, what I'm saying. What I'm saying
- 16:24Speaker 2: is white men are drawn Are you black?
- 16:28Speaker 4: Yes?
- 16:28Speaker 2: All right, white men are drawn to you and and to.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Your people and what's your people stuff?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Will Well, what I'm saying is we are white men
- 16:38Speaker 2: find black women very attractive. Okay, that's number one why because.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Of the old thing that we're sex slaves, that were
- 16:44Speaker 6: sex savages. That's that's what the white slave master said
- 16:47Speaker 6: to us. That's in your what I.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Would do if if I were you, I would put
- 16:54Speaker 2: your library of rooms attempt to that. Can Can I
- 16:58Speaker 2: ask you a question? Man, when's the last time you
- 17:00Speaker 2: watched the ABC mini series Roots and isn't it about
- 17:03Speaker 2: time you move on? Because wait a minute.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Okay, oh my.
- 17:07Speaker 2: God, wait, I'm not talking about race. You're using racial stereotypes.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I'm follow I've never said anything about sex face.
- 17:15Speaker 6: If a white woman, would you excuse your white wife
- 17:18Speaker 6: for getting with a black man because she knows that
- 17:21Speaker 6: her black that black man Dingo can provide for her?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Great question, Ted, can what do you think? Ted?
- 17:27Speaker 6: Well, no, if my wife by her sexuate.
- 17:30Speaker 2: That's different. No, that's different. Let me tell you what
- 17:32Speaker 2: I'll tell I'll tell you what's different when a white
- 17:34Speaker 2: man sees a white woman with a black man. You
- 17:37Speaker 2: want to I gotta tell you want to go get
- 17:39Speaker 2: a baseball bet?
- 17:40Speaker 3: Because wait a minute, man, wait a second.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You're saying that a white guy is attracted almost genetically,
- 17:47Speaker 1: almost you said biochemically to black women. But if you
- 17:50Speaker 1: saw a white woman try to a black guy, you
- 17:51Speaker 1: want to get a baseball bat?
- 17:53Speaker 2: You don't want Look, you're getting me into a whole
- 17:56Speaker 2: area that I didn't want to talk. I'm talking about. Geniez.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Is that's your name? Yes, Jennez. I fly by private
- 18:02Speaker 2: chartered jets.
- 18:03Speaker 6: I could care less that you fly by private jet
- 18:06Speaker 6: that does not do anything for me. Come talk to
- 18:08Speaker 6: me about some history. Come talk to me about something
- 18:11Speaker 6: with intellect.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Well care, let me talk about history. Let me talk
- 18:14Speaker 2: about history. The father of Verkatry Davis Jefferson.
- 18:22Speaker 6: With him. She had no choice. She was a black
- 18:27Speaker 6: plave master.
- 18:29Speaker 2: His wife said she was property.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a very good point that Deenie is making.
- 18:33Speaker 2: People say white wives field there's no threat when their
- 18:37Speaker 2: husbands are hitting on a black woman.
- 18:41Speaker 6: Stupid then, because any woman who accepts her man to
- 18:46Speaker 6: her man she is cheating on her has no self esteem.
- 18:51Speaker 2: But I'm saying, it doesn't matter.
- 18:52Speaker 6: If she's white or black, or Mexican or Filipino. If
- 18:56Speaker 6: you're if you're cheating with another woman, you're cheating with
- 18:59Speaker 6: another woman.
- 19:00Speaker 2: You're right, You're I'm not going to deny anything you're saying.
- 19:03Speaker 2: But and my wife would say that, but she would
- 19:07Speaker 2: be less inclined to file.
- 19:08Speaker 3: For divorce if if you were hitting on a on
- 19:11Speaker 3: a black woman.
- 19:14Speaker 2: She would be less than clased.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Hey, I got to ask to call her to turn
- 19:16Speaker 3: a radio down if you wouldn't mind, man, because it does.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm saying, Jenez, a black man with a white woman,
- 19:23Speaker 2: that's you can't. There's a lot of reasons why you
- 19:25Speaker 2: don't want to do that. I can tell you I
- 19:29Speaker 2: saw and I'm not a racist. I am not a racist.
- 19:32Speaker 2: There's not a racist bone in my body. But I
- 19:35Speaker 2: saw an interracial couple going across the street over here
- 19:37Speaker 2: on Santa Monica the other day, and it was a
- 19:39Speaker 2: black man and a white woman, and I felt myself
- 19:41Speaker 2: gunning the car in their direction, and I said, what
- 19:44Speaker 2: are you talk You're going to run them down.
- 19:46Speaker 6: It's just so wait a minute. So basically, I just
- 19:50Speaker 6: want to you're saying there's a double standard there. You're
- 19:54Speaker 6: saying that I'm exactly saying.
- 19:58Speaker 2: You didn't hear me when I said I fly by
- 19:59Speaker 2: private yet yes she.
- 20:00Speaker 6: Did, you can private jet.
- 20:02Speaker 7: What does it matter?
- 20:04Speaker 6: Is that going to affect our relationship if we had one?
- 20:07Speaker 2: No, yes it would, because you would travel in comfort
- 20:09Speaker 2: and style.
- 20:11Speaker 7: A lady, comfort and style. You would not matter the
- 20:16Speaker 7: way is what matters to me if you're a white
- 20:19Speaker 7: man quote unquote trying to get with me, is that
- 20:22Speaker 7: how you treat me as a lady.
- 20:24Speaker 6: And it doesn't matter if you fly me across country
- 20:26Speaker 6: and a jet?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Are we draw?
- 20:28Speaker 6: Can you talk to me can you treat me with
- 20:30Speaker 6: respect when I get a bit, when I come home
- 20:32Speaker 6: from work? If my bath water ran for me, does
- 20:37Speaker 6: not matter if you fly a private jet.
- 20:40Speaker 2: If you're with me, you don't you ever have to
- 20:42Speaker 2: work again as long as you're living. I don't care.
- 20:44Speaker 2: You know what?
- 20:45Speaker 6: You know how many white women or black women that
- 20:48Speaker 6: don't have to work because their husbands are rich, but
- 20:51Speaker 6: they treat them like crap. It does not matter.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I can assure you. You can ask my wife. I
- 20:56Speaker 2: would never.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Treat Are you talking about cheating on your wife?
- 20:59Speaker 2: Ted?
- 20:59Speaker 3: Yes or no?
- 21:00Speaker 6: No?
- 21:00Speaker 2: I'm not okay?
- 21:01Speaker 3: So what why would you hit on a black woman?
- 21:04Speaker 2: I'm not going to divorce my wife. I'm simply saying
- 21:07Speaker 2: that Genie and I. If if Jennie and I had
- 21:09Speaker 2: a relationship, she would fly in style.
- 21:12Speaker 6: I would talk on I'd be your mistress.
- 21:15Speaker 7: I'd be your black secret.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Right. You know, you keep bringing up the race thing,
- 21:19Speaker 2: will turn it up. I brought it up on.
- 21:26Speaker 3: The world famous Phil Henry Show. The Phil Henry Show is.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Back table free. And then you can tigulate Offen here
- 21:46Speaker 2: for tend Beverly Hills Mother's days right around the corner.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Why not bring mom to Ted to Beverly Hills. We'll
- 21:51Speaker 2: have a beautiful carnation flower for her and all she
- 21:54Speaker 2: can drink.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Do you want to put on me?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Ted Bell from Ted's Beverly Hills. This is an interesting
- 22:06Speaker 1: conversation we're having here. We're weaving a couple of paths. Now,
- 22:08Speaker 1: the last lady that we talked to, Ted took great
- 22:10Speaker 1: exception to you stereotyping black women as having been, you know,
- 22:14Speaker 1: being really impressive.
- 22:15Speaker 2: No, Phil, I'm not stereotyping. Here's what she didn't get,
- 22:17Speaker 2: and she wouldn't let me get a word in because
- 22:19Speaker 2: I think Franklin, I think is one of the more
- 22:21Speaker 2: attractive things about the African American women. They're very opinionated women.
- 22:26Speaker 2: You don't, you don't you don't necessarily dominate the conversation
- 22:30Speaker 2: with him, But I would say, this is more simply
- 22:33Speaker 2: about putting your best foot forward for any woman, And
- 22:39Speaker 2: when you have the ability to put your best foot forward,
- 22:43Speaker 2: why not do that? And so I stepped into the
- 22:46Speaker 2: middle of her conversation with Craig Lincoln. I said, oh,
- 22:48Speaker 2: and by the way, I fly in a private charter jet.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Thanks a lot, Craig. Why don't you get me a drink.
- 22:54Speaker 2: You know, I don't need for him to be beaten
- 22:57Speaker 2: my time with this, you know, and yes she was black.
- 23:02Speaker 1: This hall started, man, when you said, you fly a
- 23:04Speaker 1: private charter jet and that would be very impressive to
- 23:07Speaker 1: a woman.
- 23:07Speaker 3: I said, well you're married, and you began.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Saying I am here and I love Marcy.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Okay, fine, But.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Then you said, well, you know, with black chicks, it's
- 23:14Speaker 1: different white women.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Your white wife will understand.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I think on a level, white women do understand. And
- 23:20Speaker 2: I think on a level if you if you are
- 23:22Speaker 2: a white wife, if you're a man and you have
- 23:25Speaker 2: a black girlfriend and your white wife finds out, I
- 23:29Speaker 2: think you're going to be pleasantly surprised.
- 23:33Speaker 3: What do you mean by that?
- 23:34Speaker 2: I mean I don't think that you know, what's the
- 23:36Speaker 2: old stereoty, you know, what's the old image show she's
- 23:38Speaker 2: gonna come screaming into the room like some white witch
- 23:42Speaker 2: with a shotgun, ready to blow both of them off.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Well, you know, if you're saying that she won't kill me,
- 23:52Speaker 1: she'll just divorce me. That's not what I call pleasant.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Here is sue Sue go ahead. You're on the Phil
- 23:57Speaker 1: Henry Show with Ted Bell.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Sir, I am a white woman, married and I work
- 24:02Speaker 4: at a five star, five diamond hotel. And when you
- 24:06Speaker 4: said many people about private jets, half of our guests
- 24:09Speaker 4: that arrive arrive in on private jets. And it's not
- 24:12Speaker 4: impressive at all. What I'm not going to mention what.
- 24:16Speaker 4: It's a five star, five diamond hotel in Florida. And
- 24:19Speaker 4: for you to say for one minute that a white
- 24:23Speaker 4: woman would understand that their husband was okay with them
- 24:27Speaker 4: flirting with a black woman, that's absolutely absurd. I don't
- 24:31Speaker 4: know why you would have to say such a thing.
- 24:33Speaker 4: It's absolutely white child.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I can't have you guys talking over each other.
- 24:40Speaker 4: You want to say, let me.
- 24:44Speaker 2: You know, you don't get done. I'm the guest that I.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Was going to make was I want to send it?
- 24:49Speaker 2: Are you married?
- 24:50Speaker 4: Yes? I am. I'm married. You doubt it?
- 24:54Speaker 2: Yes, I do doubt it. And I'll tell.
- 24:55Speaker 4: You what you know it's I'm married and I'm actually
- 24:58Speaker 4: nine months pregnant.
- 25:00Speaker 2: That doesn't mean you're married.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Two and a half year.
- 25:02Speaker 4: Old that doesn't be married. And for what And my
- 25:05Speaker 4: my husband has never ever, ever even looked out a
- 25:09Speaker 4: black woman. He has black woman over a white woman.
- 25:14Speaker 4: He looks, I mean, he teases, he looks at all
- 25:16Speaker 4: amuzings women are beautiful.
- 25:18Speaker 2: White men think that black women are beautiful, and that
- 25:21Speaker 2: is not impressive. Well, she doesn't want to listen to
- 25:23Speaker 2: the truth. That's why she does.
- 25:25Speaker 4: You're not listening to me.
- 25:26Speaker 2: You're jealous because all white men enjoy looking at black women. Yeah,
- 25:30Speaker 2: and you you don't know what men do when you're
- 25:33Speaker 2: not around.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Sad is that I unfortunately, there's a lot of racism
- 25:36Speaker 4: in this world. And whether you're blessed and and and
- 25:41Speaker 4: it's sad because I know I've heard a lot of
- 25:43Speaker 4: men talk about, you know, racially about black women, which
- 25:46Speaker 4: I think is disgusting for you.
- 25:47Speaker 2: So for you to canaprize and sha, men are attracted
- 25:51Speaker 2: to black women, but you hear them talking about it
- 25:53Speaker 2: all the time. So, and the just because you work
- 25:56Speaker 2: at some converted fleabag in South Beach doesn't mean it's
- 26:00Speaker 2: five star, Thank you, bra, it's not South Beach.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Turn off the commercial. Hey, I don't want to hear
- 26:05Speaker 3: the commercial.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yes, turn it off, Come on, you know, just because
- 26:12Speaker 2: you work at some converted fleabag former shooting gallery in
- 26:17Speaker 2: South Beach that you now call a five diamond doesn't
- 26:20Speaker 2: mean you know anything about mandingo? Do you want to
- 26:25Speaker 2: put on meat in?
- 26:26Speaker 1: You don't plut commercials in the middle.
- 26:29Speaker 3: We weren't breaking, No, we were not breaking.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Phil, forgive me. I thought that it was on the word.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'll point to you when I want the commercial. Here
- 26:39Speaker 1: is Wendy. Go ahead, Wendy, you're on the Phil Henry Show.
- 26:42Speaker 5: I just wanted to say that the only woman that
- 26:45Speaker 5: you should be trying to obsess is your wife.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Well, it may be true, and I do try to
- 26:50Speaker 2: impress my wife.
- 26:50Speaker 5: You couldn't be worried about other women.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Black women have a particular attraction. Okay, See Phil, here's
- 26:56Speaker 2: the thing. You can't talk to a white woman about this.
- 26:58Speaker 2: It's not gonna admit it. Secondly, drives crazy knowing that men,
- 27:01Speaker 2: white men are on a very base level attracted to
- 27:04Speaker 2: black women. But this wasn't about black women.
- 27:06Speaker 5: This is a saying women this.
- 27:08Speaker 2: It happened to be a black woman I was talking
- 27:10Speaker 2: to at the party, That's all I'm saying.
- 27:12Speaker 5: Well, you should have had your wife at the party
- 27:15Speaker 5: with you. She was, well, it was she standing next
- 27:18Speaker 5: to you when you were trying to impress another woman.
- 27:20Speaker 2: No she wasn't.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Well, if she was, I don't.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Thanks for listening, very happy, Thanks for thanks for listening.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Selective listener. Well, you know, yeah, it's true.
- 27:28Speaker 5: You know, you know you want to be at a
- 27:30Speaker 5: radio station, on a radio other people's opinion, Then don't.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Be on done, don't listen to what Wendy has to say.
- 27:38Speaker 2: All right, I'm listening.
- 27:39Speaker 5: And if you have to impress someone by material things
- 27:42Speaker 5: you keep saying about your private jets, women like that.
- 27:46Speaker 5: You know what else?
- 27:46Speaker 6: Women like?
- 27:47Speaker 5: They like men with personality as walking in that area.
- 27:51Speaker 2: So wait a minute. All I said to her was
- 27:53Speaker 2: I fly in a private Look.
- 27:55Speaker 5: I don't trying to impress her by that.
- 27:57Speaker 2: How old are you? I'm twenty six, all right, twenty six?
- 28:00Speaker 2: All right? Do you have a boyfriend?
- 28:01Speaker 5: I have a husband.
- 28:02Speaker 2: All right. Well, let's let's pretend you're black and you're
- 28:06Speaker 2: at a party and I say to you, and I
- 28:08Speaker 2: don't know what your name would be, you know, Janiel
- 28:11Speaker 2: or something, and I'd say, I have.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Will you come on?
- 28:14Speaker 2: Well, no, I'm just trying to say to the lady,
- 28:16Speaker 2: I fly by private charter jet. So the husband of yours,
- 28:20Speaker 2: who's got to go back to the machine shop tomorrow.
- 28:22Speaker 5: He doesn't work at a machine shop. And you know what,
- 28:24Speaker 5: if I was a black woman, white woman, Chinese, the
- 28:28Speaker 5: fact that you drive a private jet would mean I
- 28:31Speaker 5: don't drive it.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Someone else flies buy it for you.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Hes absolutely, of.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Course it does. You would be impressed.
- 28:38Speaker 5: No, I would not. No, I would not know if
- 28:41Speaker 5: you if you know what all women think, if you.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I know what white women think. If you're so classic, obviously,
- 28:47Speaker 2: I'll tell you one thing I know about you right
- 28:49Speaker 2: now by the echo on the phone. You're calling from
- 28:51Speaker 2: a bathroom. What are you afraid of? Toilet?
- 28:53Speaker 6: Room?
- 28:53Speaker 2: You're hiding in a toilet? What are you afraid of? Oh?
- 28:55Speaker 5: Yeah, you have you don't you don't want.
- 28:59Speaker 2: People to know your opinion? You're hiding in a toilet.
- 29:02Speaker 5: No, I'm amazing room. I'm right in my living room.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Is your living room tiled?
- 29:08Speaker 5: Is it?
- 29:08Speaker 2: What do you have tile and a drain in the
- 29:10Speaker 2: floor of your living room? You know, Hey, Wendy, that's
- 29:14Speaker 2: called a bathroom.
- 29:15Speaker 5: Let me let me explain this to you. Obviously, the
- 29:19Speaker 5: only way you can impress a woman is by material things,
- 29:22Speaker 5: because your personality I'm.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Married twenty one years and I have two lovely daughters.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I worship the ground they walk on, saying, when you're
- 29:31Speaker 2: at a party and you see a black woman, it's
- 29:34Speaker 2: natural for a white man to want to go up
- 29:36Speaker 2: to her, impress her, and she puts her beautiful black
- 29:39Speaker 2: booty down on the leather seats of my private jet.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Okay, man, see there's the racial stereotype. What is the
- 29:45Speaker 1: black booty line?
- 29:47Speaker 2: I just want to say to Wendy. If the room's
- 29:49Speaker 2: tiled and there's a toilet in it.
- 29:52Speaker 5: At you answer me this, Would you rather your daughters
- 29:55Speaker 5: be with someone who had a private jet or with
- 29:59Speaker 5: or be married to someone who treated them with respect,
- 30:04Speaker 5: gave them their attention?
- 30:05Speaker 2: I'm sorry, say that again.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Would you rather your daughters? You say you have two daughters.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Would you rather your daughters be married to someone who
- 30:12Speaker 5: treated them with respect and devoted themselves body, mind and soul,
- 30:17Speaker 5: or someone who had money and could fly them in
- 30:20Speaker 5: a jet? Which would you prefer for your daughters?
- 30:23Speaker 2: If? I I'm sorry, if I was married to.
- 30:26Speaker 5: No, I said, if your daughters were married, if.
- 30:28Speaker 2: You could put your question into a shorter sentence, saged, well, okay,
- 30:33Speaker 2: if my daughters were.
- 30:34Speaker 5: Married, would you rather have them be with someone who
- 30:37Speaker 5: treated them with respect? Understand that I yes, and who
- 30:41Speaker 5: devoted their attention in every way? Or would you rather
- 30:47Speaker 5: them be married to someone who was too worried about
- 30:50Speaker 5: impressing other women? Which would you for your daughters?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Now I'm confused.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Well, she's asking you, Ted, would you rather your daughters
- 30:59Speaker 1: be with a man who respected them or a man
- 31:02Speaker 1: who provided them with material goods?
- 31:04Speaker 2: Oh?
- 31:06Speaker 3: Your daughters?
- 31:07Speaker 2: No, who's the guy you're talking about? Well, I don't
- 31:11Speaker 2: understand what she's talking about.
- 31:13Speaker 1: She's talking about what you've been talking about. Man, you're
- 31:16Speaker 1: talking to chicks about how.
- 31:17Speaker 2: You Oh wait a minute. Craig Lincoln is standing there talking.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Let's say it was Wendy. He's standing there. He says,
- 31:23Speaker 2: I fly first class. Well I came in and I said,
- 31:25Speaker 2: go get me a drink. I said, guess what, I
- 31:27Speaker 2: fly private charter jets. That killed his buzz and I
- 31:32Speaker 2: stepped in. I moved in. I said, hey, have I
- 31:34Speaker 2: given me a place at the trough here? Huh? You
- 31:37Speaker 2: know I want to eat? Move over where the big
- 31:38Speaker 2: dog craps.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Well, you're married that you should be thinking about your
- 31:42Speaker 5: wife and your wife.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Only all right, thank you very much, Wendy that you're
- 31:45Speaker 3: very patient.
- 31:46Speaker 2: And Rory, Who am I talking to?
- 31:48Speaker 3: Wendy?
- 31:50Speaker 2: Where?
- 31:52Speaker 3: What a moron?
- 31:54Speaker 2: Oh mister, I just canceled my advertising for your show.
