- 0:24Jeff Moscher joins us with the latest on the Eagles
- 0:26day one of the joint practices, and already we got
- 0:31somebody injured.
- 0:31Speaker 2: The good news is it's not an Eagles quarterback.
- 0:33Speaker 1: It's the Browns quarterback Doris Sanders has an oblique injury.
- 0:37But the good news is, Jeff Moscher he had a
- 0:39nice long conversation on the sidelines with Jillen Hurts, so
- 0:43at least got something I'd say's practice.
- 0:45Speaker 3: How you doing, Jeff, I'm good, I'm good, And you
- 0:48know that's it's interesting you bring that up. I just
- 0:50actually finished writing a story that will be up on
- 0:52Philly Voice, not so much about the conversation, but more
- 0:58about Jillen Hurts talking about it after he didn't talk
- 1:01about what he said, but just being a willing advice
- 1:05giver and someone who I think you know, I don't
- 1:10know as I wrote the story, how many other players
- 1:13can share the kind of experience of being benched in
- 1:16a National championship game, going somewhere else, becoming a second
- 1:21round pick, then having to fight your way on to
- 1:22becoming a starter, then being as successful as he has
- 1:26as in capping it off with a Super Bowl and
- 1:29a Super Bowl MVP, all within about what are we
- 1:31talked about here a seven year span since the benching.
- 1:34So it's really strikes me as if I was a
- 1:39young quarterback who likes Shador Sanders is going to have
- 1:43to fight tooth and nail for every opportunity, which he
- 1:47probably wasn't expecting going into the draft. To be honest,
- 1:51I think Jalen Hurts will be a very interesting resource.
- 1:53So good on Jalen, by the way, who said it's
- 1:56not necessarily like an obligation that he feels. It's just
- 2:01that he's true to himself. If someone's gonna come up
- 2:03and give ask for his time, he will volunteer that
- 2:08time because he's got a good story to tell.
- 2:10Speaker 1: He's also got probably some great stories about what it's
- 2:12like to have eleven different coordinators in a ten year
- 2:14period talking about your ear.
- 2:16Speaker 2: So, I mean that can always be a pun.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Be like, Yo, Shodor can tell him about how rough
- 2:21it is and be like you haven't had ten different
- 2:22coordinators in your.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Ear, Like yeah, I mean you would think.
- 2:26Speaker 3: I'm sure that didn't come up, but it'd be funny if
- 2:28it did. It would be like, let's you've got to
- 2:30crawl before you walk. So I'm like, you gotta worry
- 2:33about making a fifty three outlasting four other quarterbacks off
- 2:37the roster right now. Uh, and then you can worry
- 2:41about whether or not you're gonna have a lot of
- 2:42you know, offensive coordinators.
- 2:44Speaker 4: You know, you have to prove that you deserve a
- 2:46lot of offensive coordinators. First.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Absolutely, well, Jeff.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I thought today's joint practice, some of the details that
- 2:51came out, they were very interesting. Because your latest Inside
- 2:55the Numbers you guys did with the Inside the Bird's podcast,
- 3:00you guys talk about the cornerback position and we got
- 3:02to see a little bit jackorean Bennett on the field
- 3:04at joined practice today, and I want to give out
- 3:07the whole thing that you and Sam talked about. I
- 3:09want people to go watch it and consume it because
- 3:12those charts are absolutely fascinating that you guys got the
- 3:15breakdown there. But I did think it was interesting because
- 3:18I think you kind of got an idea of visually
- 3:22at joint practice a little bit of what you guys
- 3:25talked about with the Inside the Bird's podcast, Jeff, which
- 3:28is Jacorean Bennett. He's starting to look more and more
- 3:33like he really is the best option at that number
- 3:36two corner spot.
- 3:39Speaker 3: We'll see, we'll stay what I like about what Sam
- 3:41Finkel did on Inside the.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Data, Josh, and thanks for bringing that up, was a
- 3:45really good episode.
- 3:47Speaker 3: The charts are interesting because what he did was compare
- 3:51Jakoreyan Bennett's snap so far and how they measured up
- 3:54not only against Kille Ringos snaps from last year and
- 4:00and that Dori Jackson snaps from last year, but even
- 4:03guys like Isaiah Rodgers and I think Darius Slay was
- 4:06also on that. So you get an idea because it's
- 4:09hard to take it's hard to take Killer Ringo and
- 4:12make any kind of analytical comp because he only played
- 4:16one hundred or something snaps last year, so there's not
- 4:18a sample size. So if you give up one touchdown
- 4:21or two touchdowns, your numbers are going to be very skewed.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Because he played so few snaps.
- 4:25Speaker 3: But I think his Bennett's snaps last year were comparable
- 4:29at Isaiah Rodgers is. So you got to see, all right,
- 4:32when a guy plays as much as Bennett and a
- 4:34guy was pretty decent last year, like Rogers was, how
- 4:37does that compare to Bennett?
- 4:39Speaker 4: And there were some really good comps.
- 4:40Speaker 3: And to your point, it's certainly the analytics, which only
- 4:46tell a half a story, let's be fair. They certainly
- 4:49suggest that he should be in the mix with Adri
- 4:53Jackson and Killer Ringo. I don't know if they suggest
- 4:56he should definitively start, but I think what it tells
- 4:59you is that this should be a three horse race
- 5:01and then let Vic decide based on this year's evidence,
- 5:05who is playing at the best at that position.
- 5:08Speaker 1: When you think about this cornerback situation, Jeff, I think
- 5:11it's also you know, the factor that goes into it
- 5:14is Bennett is still learning Fanjo's defense, right, That's part
- 5:18of this conversation as well. And you know, when you
- 5:21we know that Fanjo has been very shall we call
- 5:25it brutally artist about you know, you're not getting on
- 5:28the field of you don't and actually know the defense.
- 5:30So you know, I'm not going to put the car
- 5:33before the horse because Bennett may be the best, but
- 5:37is he going to be up to speed for week
- 5:39one of the season.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 3: You know something Adam and I talked about on Inside
- 5:44the Birds podcast that dropped this morning is that we
- 5:47sort of get too often tied into who's the starter
- 5:51week one, who's performing the best in training camp. But
- 5:55if we learned anything from last year, it's that Vic
- 5:58is not afraid to, you know, switch things up in
- 6:02the middle of camp or in the middle of the
- 6:03season when guys have enough time and enough reps. And
- 6:06Cooper to Gene is a perfect example, right, He got
- 6:09a late start at practice, so by the time he
- 6:12got in they didn't feel he was ready, but they
- 6:15felt he was ready by week six or was it yeah,
- 6:18week six five?
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because week five.
- 6:22Speaker 3: And you saw the difference that he made as soon
- 6:24as they put him in the slot. And at the
- 6:26same time, at this time last year, right around this time,
- 6:29I think Cooper is just getting back to practice. That
- 6:32that meant Quinjon Mitchell had been playing the nickel position
- 6:36all throughout OTAs and all throughout the first two weeks
- 6:39of camp, and it almost seemed like the year was
- 6:41going to start with Quinyon in the slot and with
- 6:45Isaiah Rogers on the outside uh opposite Darius Slay because
- 6:50Isaiah Rodgers was really pulling away from Killer Ringo. But
- 6:54all of a sudden, maybe you know, two three weeks
- 6:57in the camp, Quinyon went to the outside, Isaiah Rodgers
- 7:01became a backup. They started getting Cooper to gen Reps
- 7:04at the nickel spot, and and that change for QUINNYA.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Mitchell.
- 7:07Speaker 3: He was allowed to learn the outside and figure it
- 7:10out and understand it and really thrive despite not being.
- 7:14Speaker 4: There the entire time.
- 7:16Speaker 3: So, in terms of what you're saying now, Josh, yeah,
- 7:18Jakoorian Bennett may not right now be the best option
- 7:22to start outside corner because he's learning the defense. They
- 7:25have the match carried delivered principles that he's got to
- 7:28get familiar with that are not easy. But who's to
- 7:31say by week two, Week three, week four that if
- 7:34Jakorian Bennett makes the team, he's not the starting outside corner.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Jeff Mosher joining us for from the inside the Birds

- 7:44we get your podcasts Just search inside the Birds. Jeff
- 7:47Mosher joining us for football at four here on ninety
- 7:49seven three ESPN.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Josh Annie Philliam for Mike gill on a Wednesday.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Overall, Jeff, is not just that corner spot that's in
- 7:57the conversation and the Fangio defense is all so safety
- 8:01if Angelo himself has been very honest about Hey, you
- 8:05know Sidney Brown, he was injured last year. He did
- 8:08not really know the defense last year. This is Brown's
- 8:12literally his first opportunity to learn learn the defense. And today,
- 8:15for example, Brown ran with a lot of the first team.
- 8:19Drew mccouba ran with the second team a lot at
- 8:21the joint practice today, and it started to look more
- 8:24and more Jeff like, you know, and I'm not dre up,
- 8:26but again not trying to jump too far ahead, but
- 8:29it's starting to look like that Sidney Brown might be
- 8:33getting closer to being in the driver's seat.
- 8:35Speaker 2: For that safety spot.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm far from that, you know.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I think just like we're talking about, I think that
- 8:42that as long as Andrew mccouba stays healthy and now
- 8:45has two or three weeks to re establish himself.
- 8:49Speaker 4: This is a guy that drafted in the second round.
- 8:51Speaker 3: They want him to start, and not only that, but
- 8:55it sure looks like they want Cooper to Gen to
- 8:57be the base safety, which means that and then listen,
- 9:01they play nickels eighty percent of the time, right, so
- 9:03it's still going to be Cooper to Gene in the
- 9:05slot most times, but just by him being the safety
- 9:08in base just takes some mileage off of a guy
- 9:11like Mcooba, who you know, the big concern was him
- 9:13was his size, his frame, right. I know he's put
- 9:16some weight on, but it's still not it's it's still
- 9:19a smaller frame compared to like Sidney Brown or Reblanket Chip.
- 9:23So it's defense and he thrives in it and does well.
- 9:25Makuba over the next few weeks, I think that he's
- 9:29the guy that's in the driver se because he's the
- 9:31one that they drafted around and has the versatility that
- 9:36Vic looks for. Doesn't mean Sidney Brown can't be used
- 9:39or it doesn't mean he can't win. And you know,
- 9:41there's always again the idea that maybe maybe that he's
- 9:46a nickel instead of a safety. Right, because he has
- 9:49that versatility, and then you're playing Cooper to gene More
- 9:52at safety. I mean these are I'm just not married
- 9:56right now to any one formation scheme, personnel grouping because
- 10:00of what we witnessed last year where things can change.
- 10:02Speaker 4: On a dime.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Well that it's interesting you mentioned, by the way, Yeah,
- 10:07well no, that's another formation. Yeah right, I mean obviously
- 10:13you just mentioned diming. You can about a quarters defense.
- 10:15You can have all the safeties out there, you know,
- 10:17all they're just lined up across the back of the defense.
- 10:21Speaker 3: You could certainly go play big nickel and get all
- 10:23three safeties on the field.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 10:26Speaker 1: But with that being said, so you're talking about mccob,
- 10:29I want to backtrack to that for a minute, because
- 10:31you're talking about him being so you're saying that, you
- 10:34know that video that was out there, Fangio being like
- 10:37over the mountain tops happy they drafted Mtoba, Like that
- 10:41wasn't just a coach having a moment. Like you're saying
- 10:44that a guy like Fangio and the Eagles look at
- 10:48him as like, this is going to be our starter.
- 10:51It might not be Week one, but we want this
- 10:53guy to be our starter at.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Safety or when you draft somebody in the second round,
- 10:58your your vision of that person is to eventually be
- 11:02a starter. Now, sometimes it's not right away because you
- 11:05have a like when they draft Cam Jurgens and they
- 11:08have Jason Kelcey.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Right, it just ain't happen when you draft Land and.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Dickerson, but you've already got Brandon Brooks and Isaac sam Malo.
- 11:15The only reason Dickerson played right was because both of
- 11:18those guys wound up getting.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Hurt that year. Safety is a different story.
- 11:22Speaker 3: You're not really being blocked by anybody because Sidney Brown
- 11:26is a third round pick in his third year and
- 11:27you're a second round pick as a rookie. So I
- 11:31do think Vick was very happy. It's how he's called ultimately,
- 11:33how he drafted Sidney Brown. And this is a guy who,
- 11:37again who's versatility and his experience and in college defenses
- 11:41is a fit for what Fangiel likes to do. It
- 11:44doesn't mean he's won it, it doesn't mean deep inside
- 11:47he's rooting for mccouba. I just think deep inside Vic
- 11:50knows that this is the better skill set for the
- 11:53defense he wants to run. And so if that guy
- 11:56is coming along at an acceptable pace. That guy is
- 11:59going to be the one to play.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You just mentioned the offensive line, Jeff's flip over there,
- 12:04because that's an interesting conversation. They asked Kevin Botulo this
- 12:08morning at the presser about hey, you know, no Dickerson,
- 12:11you guys are putting Brett toath out there. And I
- 12:13thought what was interesting about his answer was they didn't
- 12:17talk about toasts physical ability, his size, his strength. It
- 12:21was about his intelligence, about how he understands what his
- 12:26role is on the offensive line. I thought that was
- 12:29a very interesting distinction because on a line, Jeff, as
- 12:32you know, full of a bunch of massive human beings, right,
- 12:35a bunch of physically powerful, dominant beings like Maya Alatta
- 12:39and Lane Johnson. And when he starts Dickerson, even Tyler
- 12:43Steen in his own right, it's a big dude.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Brett told there was no like, oh yeah, he fits
- 12:47the mold.
- 12:47Speaker 1: It was no, no, no, this guy's got the intelligence
- 12:50and knowledge know what to do if we ask him
- 12:52to do it.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yes, this is a really interesting one, Josh. I know
- 12:58that we all abide by in Stellton. We trust Mantra
- 13:02and that's fine. I mean, and this could be another
- 13:06This would be an even bigger.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Stelton surprise in Makai Beckton. At least Makai Beckton was a.
- 13:10Speaker 3: First round pick and my massive human being and needed
- 13:14to get his weight and conditioning under control, which he
- 13:16did and that helped him, you know, stay healthy. But
- 13:19it wasn't a sort of question about whether or not
- 13:21he's an NFL player. Brett Toath is in his seventh year,
- 13:27and I get that he's somewhat.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Of the teacher's pett he's always back.
- 13:30Speaker 3: But he's only played like a handful of NFL games
- 13:33in seven years.
- 13:35Speaker 4: And meanwhile, you got Matt Pryor right.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Who's played a whole lot more of NFL games and
- 13:40has played a whole lot of positions, left guard, right guard.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Left tackle, right tackle.
- 13:44Speaker 3: You got Darien Kinard, a guy they kept last year
- 13:47on the fifty three who could play.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Guard and tackle and they like I know they like him.
- 13:54Part of me wonders, is this a little bit of
- 13:56a song and.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Dance right now going on with Brett Toatha left guard
- 14:00and eventually you'll see either Canard or Prior settle in there.
- 14:04Or is Jeff Stoutlin really thinking that Brett Toath will
- 14:08not only make this fifty three, but be the starting
- 14:11left guard on the season opener if Dickerson isn't back,
- 14:15or the first guy off the bench a left guard.
- 14:17If Dickerson, you know, hobbles off or anyone hobbles off,
- 14:21I'm struggling with it. Josh, you know, we all should
- 14:26give Jeff Stoutlin the benefit of the doubt this one, though,
- 14:29unlike Beckton, I got to kind of squint to see it.
- 14:31I really think that their best their best grouping based
- 14:36on just experience, and I guess the eye test would
- 14:39be to put Tyler Stein at left guard because he
- 14:42had to play there a bunch of times last year,
- 14:44coming in right, and then play either Prior or Canard
- 14:47at right guard because that's where those guys are more
- 14:49comfortable in their careers on the right side, and that's
- 14:52where they've been all throughout camp.
- 14:55Speaker 4: But right now with Brett Toath the left guard until we.
- 14:58Speaker 3: See otherwise, it would not surprise me if that changed
- 15:05pretty soon, maybe even after the second preseason game, if
- 15:09not before this Saturday's preseason game.
- 15:12Speaker 4: But if not, let's talk about this next week.
- 15:14Speaker 3: I mean, if Brett Toath is still the left guard
- 15:16at this time next week, I think it's worthy of
- 15:18a discussion that we'll have about what he brings from
- 15:21an intelligence standpoint and experience standpoint, because right now I'm
- 15:26just a little skeptical.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I think we should all be skeptical. I mean you
- 15:29mentioned Matt Pryor, Like.
- 15:31Speaker 1: That's a guy who's got a plethora of experience compared
- 15:34to Toath. I just the whole thing always perplexed me about,
- 15:38like the whole why do they love Brett Toast so much?
- 15:40Like you men didn't these the teacher's pet. It's like,
- 15:43what what don't I and everybody know about Brett Toath?
- 15:46Like I don't get it at all.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean Matt Pryor, Josh has played ninety two
- 15:52games and started thirty nine of them. And the one
- 15:56thing I felt just watching camp practices Josh, I thought
- 16:00he looked a little in better shape than his first
- 16:02time around with the Eagles, looked a little stronger, And
- 16:05you know, he had a really good seal block on
- 16:08that thirty eight yard will Shipley run. I know, Tyler
- 16:10Steen gets a lot of credit because the linebacker's flowing downhill.
- 16:13Speaker 4: And Steen pivots to block him out.
- 16:16Speaker 3: But the edge defender is Miles Murphy, a first round pick,
- 16:19and prior had him so walled off that it helped
- 16:22create that really big canyon so that when the linebacker
- 16:26is blocked and the edges blocked, Shipley had you know,
- 16:29the Amazon River to go run through there or the
- 16:32Autobot Highway.
- 16:33Speaker 4: It was just a enormous amount of space.
- 16:35Speaker 3: And that was part of to me, a continuation of
- 16:38Matt Pryor really looking like an improved lineman this time around.
- 16:42So that's where the whole make it make sense thing
- 16:45comes to me, because this is a guy who's getting better,
- 16:48started a ton of games, and you're.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Playing Brett toe to thet left guard. So you know,
- 16:52we'll see.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Like I said, I think this is worthy of a
- 16:54little bit of skepticism, and then we'll see a week
- 16:59from now if things are are not different or changed,
- 17:01and we'll have a discussion about Brett toathmore.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I called them one.
- 17:05Speaker 1: If I let Jeff Buscher go here on Football at
- 17:07four powered by the Inside the Birds Podcast, Jeff, the
- 17:11Eagles be the announcement just before you popped on with
- 17:14us that going into the Eagles Hall of Fame will
- 17:18be a guy that you're familiar with, Malcolm Jenkins. I
- 17:21just wanted to get your thoughts on Malcolm getting the
- 17:24nod for the Eagles Hall of Fame, a guy that
- 17:26you've covered for many years in your professional career.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 3: And I think what you're alluding to, and maybe some
- 17:33people don't even realize, is that I started off my
- 17:36sports writing career at a small paper in Central Jersey
- 17:39called The Courier News, one of the Gannett papers in
- 17:41New Jersey, and one of our high schools that we
- 17:45covered was Piscataway High School. And the years I covered
- 17:49Piscataway High School, they had three NFL first round picks
- 17:54on their team and they won four straight sectional champion
- 17:57we call them state champions, are really sectional titles.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Malcolm was one of those three. The others were Kyle Wilson.
- 18:03Speaker 3: The cornerback from Boise State went to the Jets, and
- 18:06Anthony Davis, the offensive tackle who played for the forty
- 18:09nine ers.
- 18:09Speaker 4: So clearly, Malcolm was an amazing player.
- 18:13Speaker 3: He was an amazing human being, really smart, head on
- 18:16his shoulders, talked to him a decent amount of times
- 18:19all the way back in high school. Had a good career,
- 18:21with the Saints, then came to the Eagles, And the
- 18:24one thing I want to impart on people that they
- 18:25may have forgotten is that when Malcolm Jenkins got to
- 18:28the Eagles in was it twenty sixteen, I want to
- 18:33say two thousand, yeah, form Starry fourteen fourteen, they already
- 18:38had an established player who was a veteran leader on defense.
- 18:43His name was Demiko Ryans Mufasa, and Tamiko got hurt
- 18:46again that year, right, and that's that's I think his
- 18:51achilles tear that he had with the Eagles, which he
- 18:53had had previously in his career, I think with the Texans.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Texans.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but either way, that forced Malcolm into a very unfamiliar,
- 19:02well I would say, atypical role, which is becoming a
- 19:05leader on a team that you're really new to. Of course,
- 19:07he was a good player, It's not like he was
- 19:09an eleven time Pro Bowl player at that point, but
- 19:12he naturally took over leadership in that locker room despite
- 19:16the fact that he was a relatively new player.
- 19:19Speaker 4: I mean, I think he endured to a lot of
- 19:21folks in.
- 19:23Speaker 3: That time, where you know, the Eagles signed to Marco
- 19:25Murray from the Cowboys and Murray was really not practicing
- 19:29very much at at training camp, and Malcolm went and
- 19:33grabbed a folding chair one day. And this is the
- 19:36twenty fifteen right, so this is malcolm second year in
- 19:38Eagles and he puts the folding chair right.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Out on the field.
- 19:41Speaker 3: It's a little bit of a joke, like, you know,
- 19:43take a seat, but also a little bit of a
- 19:45message like you're a former cowboy, You're an Eagle now, Like,
- 19:49don't act like a spoiled, entitled former cowboy.
- 19:52Speaker 4: We do it differently around here.
- 19:54Speaker 3: And I think that that definitely caught some more teammates attention,
- 19:58and it was just sort of the the acclamation of
- 20:00him becoming a culture changer for the Eagles, a trans
- 20:04a franchise transformer for the Eagles, and obviously a Super
- 20:08Bowl cheat Eagles who was a big part of their
- 20:10ability to lose Carson Wentz go to Nick Falls and
- 20:14still maintain a high standard and win.
- 20:16Speaker 2: It all absolutely.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And you know, I remember, you know, Malcolm was also
- 20:22the guy who was the rallying cry it's not forgetting
- 20:24twenty seventeen. You know, when Carson Wentz went down, and
- 20:27he was the guy who you know, started they you know,
- 20:30we're all we got, were all we need mantra, and
- 20:33that was a big part of their run because you
- 20:35could argue, if it was for the leadership on the
- 20:37twenty seventeen to that team could have easily fallen apart.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Jeff, Yeah, they could have that, you know.
- 20:43Speaker 3: And again, so he's had to step into leadership roles
- 20:46of different varieties. At that point, he was already established one,
- 20:49but he had to be the louder voice, the voice
- 20:52of reason. I've spoken to a lot of people from
- 20:56that team, and you know, despite what they said publicly,
- 21:00inside that they were crumbling when Carson went down, and
- 21:03a lot of them thought that the dream was dead.
- 21:05And maybe Malcolm did inside you know, only he could
- 21:08answer that, but he certainly didn't act like it, he
- 21:10didn't speak like it, and he helped lead that team.
- 21:13I will always remember Malcolm, I think it was in
- 21:15the post super Bowl press conference or maybe the day
- 21:18after or whatever, saying he knew the Eagles were gonna
- 21:20win the Super Bowl when the Patriots came running out
- 21:23of the tunnel to crazy train and the Eagles came
- 21:25out to dreams and nightmares.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Just to heal it, love.
- 21:32Speaker 1: It Jeff before I let you go more more of
- 21:35a little bit of a fun one.
- 21:37Speaker 2: So I got to ask you this. So, uh, there
- 21:40was a picture caught of two.
- 21:42Speaker 1: People at practice at the joint practice today, and I
- 21:46gotta know from you, what do you think is being
- 21:48said between Howie Roseman the Eagles GM and the owner
- 21:52of the Browns, Jimmy Haslam in this in this skitter
- 21:55course at practice, and we talk about people from completely
- 21:59different worlds having a conversation here.
- 22:02Speaker 3: All right, I'm gonna caption this, all right, this will
- 22:04win the caption of the day. It is from how
- 22:07we quote Jimmy having five quarterbacks does not make you
- 22:11a quarterback factory.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's so true. See my my joke
- 22:22earlier was, uh, we had we had any mcberry who
- 22:26covers the Browns in the last hour. And my joke
- 22:29was that you know, you know, Miles Garrett asked for
- 22:31two Super Bowl winning quarterbacks and you gave him Joe
- 22:34Flacco and Kenny Pickett, like good one.
- 22:37Speaker 4: That's not bad either, That's not give me.
- 22:40Speaker 3: The comment is Jimmy saying, hey, we have more super
- 22:42Bowl winning quarterbacks than you do.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Got two.
- 22:49Speaker 2: By the way, both Super Bowl winning quarterbacks from South Jersey.
- 22:51Speaker 4: By the way, that is correct. That is correct. Wait,
- 22:55how many South Jersey quarterbacks were in.
- 22:57Speaker 3: This practice because you gotta throw mccon McCord in there
- 23:00as well.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he was in the practice too. Three.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Yeah, unbelievable. What's that South Jersey represents.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yeah, South Jersey representative joint practice today for better, for better,
- 23:13for worse.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Todd Campbell in there. It makes it a lot better too,
- 23:16So that's good.
- 23:17Speaker 2: That's definitely an upgrade as well. He's Jeff Moscher at
- 23:20Jeff P.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Mosher on the Twitter x platform, Inside the Birds, Inside
- 23:25the Birds podcast, and of course Philly Voice when you
- 23:28catch all of his coverage of the Eagle well over there, Jeff,
- 23:31great stuff today.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Appreciate you jumping on. We'll talk soon, all right, brother,
- 23:34Thanks for you good
