- 0:01Speaker 1: Hold up, hold up, hol alert Alert to The Bowler
- 0:14Speaker 1: Show podcast, the first show of twenty twenty three. Simmons,
- 0:22Speaker 1: Hey beasties, it's so so lo see it. What's up? Guys? Yeah?
- 0:26Speaker 1: New Year? How would you guys? New Year? It's our
- 0:28Speaker 1: Jordan year, guys like it's I'm still tired of tell Obviously.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I was out on the streets, had some hennessy parties,
- 0:35Speaker 1: had some my wet parties. I did a private dinner
- 0:37Speaker 1: for Ti Young. I'm exhausted, a party with Glorilla and
- 0:41Speaker 1: Republic gift to her some really dope heannasy stuff. And
- 0:43Speaker 1: I slept all day. All day. The second was a
- 0:47Speaker 1: day full of sleep and recovery. And by the grace
- 0:50Speaker 1: of guy, it worked because I feel really good and
- 0:52Speaker 1: I'm excited to be back at y'all. How was it
- 0:55Speaker 1: for y'all? Good? It was good. Got stuck in the
- 0:58Speaker 1: mountain on Christmas. Uh, yeah, it was crazy. I saw
- 1:03Speaker 1: you were like a jacuzya. It was two degrees out there.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It was in Blue Ridge. Went up there with the family,
- 1:09Speaker 1: had a good time enjoying myself. Then I started suffering
- 1:12Speaker 1: in some vertigo or something. I went to the doctor
- 1:14Speaker 1: and yeah, so I'm dealing with some vertigo or whatever
- 1:17Speaker 1: the hell that ship is, so I gotta take care
- 1:19Speaker 1: of myself, Okay, Lord Jesus, we were together New Year's
- 1:24Speaker 1: Eve at Rome allowed my second part of my night.
- 1:27Speaker 1: That was nuts out sixty bottles at night. We went
- 1:30Speaker 1: crazy one time for Team A Wet Team Nacy. It
- 1:34Speaker 1: was lit. Do you guys get ready? You guys ready? Yeah?
- 1:37Speaker 1: Always all right, let's start to show off with prayers
- 1:43Speaker 1: up to tomorrow. Hamlin, Um, I don't know if you
- 1:45Speaker 1: guys saw the video. I actually saw the game. I
- 1:47Speaker 1: saw it happen live and UM, I played football in
- 1:51Speaker 1: high school, never played college or professional, but um, just
- 1:55Speaker 1: a a fan of the sport. Um, definitely prayers up
- 1:59Speaker 1: to themor That was very scary. I've never seen anything
- 2:03Speaker 1: like that live on TV before we've heard it. Um,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I've seen a NBA player. I've seen the video of
- 2:09Speaker 1: an NBA player in I believe he fell had a
- 2:12Speaker 1: heart attack. I forget the player's name, please forgive me.
- 2:15Speaker 1: But um, last night or when that happened on money
- 2:18Speaker 1: that football between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals,
- 2:23Speaker 1: that was very, very, very very scary. So when I
- 2:26Speaker 1: read the headline. What I thought immediately was the player
- 2:30Speaker 1: who got tackled was the person who fell out, right.
- 2:33Speaker 1: But then when I saw the clip, I saw that
- 2:35Speaker 1: it was he did the tackling right. So I watched
- 2:38Speaker 1: it over and over again and stood up and then
- 2:41Speaker 1: he just dropped. Like you can see it immediately, like
- 2:43Speaker 1: when he stands up, he's like fumbling, you know, he's
- 2:46Speaker 1: he's can't keep his feet, um, study on the ground
- 2:49Speaker 1: and then he just falls back. And that was really
- 2:51Speaker 1: scary to see. And he's young too, he's young years old.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So do we know what it actually is? Like what
- 2:59Speaker 1: cause then a heart attack? Right arrest? But there's no
- 3:04Speaker 1: information being told anything else at the moment. Do y'all
- 3:08Speaker 1: think it's in result to football or do you think
- 3:10Speaker 1: he made I mean, that was a very heavy hit, Um.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And again when you put that equipment on, there is
- 3:17Speaker 1: warnings on that equipment that dangerous for anyway. And it's
- 3:23Speaker 1: not just on the helmet. That was a chess blow.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Um that It was very disheartening. UM. Prayers to and
- 3:32Speaker 1: you know his mom was there, she saw it, Um,
- 3:35Speaker 1: and it was away, so they weren't in Buffalo. He
- 3:37Speaker 1: plays for the Buffalo Mills. They were in Cincinnati's mom
- 3:39Speaker 1: was there. She wrote him to the hospital. I believe
- 3:42Speaker 1: he's at the University of Cincinnati's hospital, and um, we're
- 3:46Speaker 1: just waiting like everybody else. I love how fans on
- 3:48Speaker 1: both sides of the spectrum or outside of the hospital,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you know, praying for him, wishing him to seedy recovery.
- 3:55Speaker 1: But Skip Bayliss made me mad with his with his
- 3:57Speaker 1: little tweet. He pissed me off. How are they going
- 4:00Speaker 1: to not continue the game? And then he kind of
- 4:03Speaker 1: switches the script when he's like, it's so sad what
- 4:06Speaker 1: we saw happening. You didn't give a damn. People don't care.
- 4:08Speaker 1: They just want to, you know, win. It's so insensitive,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and I want to say, that's the first time I've
- 4:14Speaker 1: seen an NFL game be canceled. I've never seen an
- 4:18Speaker 1: NFL game stop. I've seen a h NFL game be
- 4:22Speaker 1: postponed due to weather, but I've never seen And then
- 4:25Speaker 1: I've I've seen some NFL games not happen because of
- 4:29Speaker 1: hurricanes and stuff like that, and then they will happened
- 4:31Speaker 1: that later day. This is the first time that a
- 4:33Speaker 1: game where something like that happened, and people walked off
- 4:36Speaker 1: and said, we're not playing why Because at that particular moment,
- 4:41Speaker 1: people realize that there are humans playing the game and
- 4:44Speaker 1: they're not warriors. It's not your favorite team, they're not
- 4:48Speaker 1: gladiators to do. These are human beings and humanized everything.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You Yeah, it was hard. It was to think about
- 4:57Speaker 1: all the players who suffered concussion is on a daily basis.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Who never you know, who get really injured. You know,
- 5:05Speaker 1: as soon as they are done playing the sport. It's
- 5:09Speaker 1: very dangerous. I think, like I said, I think football
- 5:12Speaker 1: is the most dangerous sport out there. I think overall
- 5:14Speaker 1: people are just tired of acting like they're not people,
- 5:17Speaker 1: Like we are not super human, We are normal. These
- 5:20Speaker 1: are athletes, they're regular people. And I think, you know,
- 5:24Speaker 1: you talk about concussions and stuff like how long had
- 5:26Speaker 1: that been swept under the rug? Those conversations are still
- 5:28Speaker 1: just now come into light where it's always been like
- 5:31Speaker 1: a hush, hush, keep it quiet, don't say ship type
- 5:33Speaker 1: of thing, and they're tired of it. Take care of
- 5:35Speaker 1: these people come to think about over the weekend or
- 5:38Speaker 1: actually on New Year's Eve, U G a versus Ohio State.
- 5:42Speaker 1: The kicker Mr Kick and he cost them the game.
- 5:46Speaker 1: But you gotta remember that was a human. These are
- 5:49Speaker 1: humans playing and it's just a game. And you you
- 5:54Speaker 1: remember that now when you see something like this happened
- 5:56Speaker 1: and kind of just justifies that this is just a game.
- 6:00Speaker 1: And these kids and young men get up and go
- 6:03Speaker 1: home to their families. But this one that didn't happen,
- 6:07Speaker 1: this one may not. So Um. Definitely prayers off for tomorrow, Hamlet.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And also, uh, he had a charitable organization. I believe
- 6:17Speaker 1: that was set for two thousand, five hundred dollars. That
- 6:20Speaker 1: is now over three million dollars in donations for his
- 6:23Speaker 1: charitable cause. So um, please keep donating this on his page.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Um and yeah, damn okay, hard to move on from that.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Did he welcomes new baby love Sean Combs? Can we
- 6:35Speaker 1: get some snaps for love? Fretty? I love the name,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I love the baby just popped out of nowhere to
- 6:41Speaker 1: me most of us. Yeah, we were off when um
- 6:45Speaker 1: he revealed the baby. Um, and we were off to
- 6:49Speaker 1: when Rihanna revealed her baby, which is so pressed. But
- 6:52Speaker 1: we didn't even know that he had a baby on
- 6:54Speaker 1: the way. It's a lot of things we don't know about. Love.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You know the love that he spreads across the nation interesting,
- 6:59Speaker 1: And he said, he's not one. You know, that is
- 7:02Speaker 1: what's up? Is it? Ma? I don't know. It seems
- 7:06Speaker 1: like cruche face. It doesn't seem like any of the
- 7:09Speaker 1: women are faced each other. She's not there for that time.
- 7:14Speaker 1: She's there for a good time. Listen. Ain't nothing wrong
- 7:16Speaker 1: with how these people choose to express love. They're all
- 7:18Speaker 1: good with it. They have a good time. Hell, Nick
- 7:21Speaker 1: Canna just welcomed his twelve baby. Yeah, you know, they
- 7:24Speaker 1: know what's going on. But I didn't know he's spun
- 7:26Speaker 1: the block a couple of times too. I didn't know
- 7:28Speaker 1: that it was a couple of the mothers of his
- 7:32Speaker 1: kids that have two. He has three kids with Abby
- 7:35Speaker 1: out in l A, the twins and then the latest daughter, Beautiful,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and then he has this child with Yeah, I didn't
- 7:43Speaker 1: know he's fun to block even though he has he
- 7:46Speaker 1: has twelve. I didn't know that some of them were done.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I think it's only four or five. Baby Mama's right.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But like he said, those are his friends, so like
- 7:58Speaker 1: when he was down, and you know, they conford him
- 8:01Speaker 1: in a different way. Hey man, we're just saying and
- 8:05Speaker 1: the same goes for Diddy, Like he said, when he
- 8:07Speaker 1: had his kids, they were his friends. Shout out to friends, love,
- 8:13Speaker 1: speaking of love, I don't know if this is love
- 8:15Speaker 1: or the trail thoughts of the wise Sale case, because
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's some people signing plead deals and becoming free. What
- 8:24Speaker 1: do you think about that? Uh? I don't know. I
- 8:27Speaker 1: think the court is still open. I don't know if
- 8:30Speaker 1: these things were orchestrated or if these things were betrail.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I am very confused at what's going on. And um,
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's very uh because I do believe that certain people
- 8:44Speaker 1: have to testify in court. Um, they do have an
- 8:47Speaker 1: amendment right to say that they complete the fifth correct
- 8:50Speaker 1: and then they all so people are going to testify.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm scared. I'm nervous. I can't wait to see it.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'm anxious, I am all of the of I ain't
- 9:01Speaker 1: gonna lie to you. I can't wait. I'm scared for him.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I'm scared he's gonna get a minimum of twenty or
- 9:07Speaker 1: he gonna get life. That's what it looked like it's
- 9:09Speaker 1: gonna be right now. And I am scared for this man. Yes,
- 9:13Speaker 1: what okay? But my question is what does it mean
- 9:15Speaker 1: for everyone? That's pleaing out what they just free. They
- 9:20Speaker 1: probation for a very long time, so they can't even
- 9:22Speaker 1: sneeze inappropriately, or they're going back or if they go
- 9:26Speaker 1: to correct me if I'm wrong. I am not a lawyer.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Please do not quote me. But I do believe part
- 9:32Speaker 1: of the law is when they plea out, if they
- 9:36Speaker 1: lie about something that they plead out on, they go
- 9:39Speaker 1: to jail. That part I do believe is correct. So
- 9:42Speaker 1: if they do testify, if that happens, and we shall see.
- 9:48Speaker 1: What do you think about Gonna? I don't know. I mean,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I still shouldn't have been arrested to be getting or
- 9:54Speaker 1: at least held for that long. Um, it doesn't really
- 9:57Speaker 1: seem like they had much on him. I don't know
- 10:00Speaker 1: Gunna's case seems when reading the sheet, I believe he
- 10:03Speaker 1: didn't have anything on him. Didn't really have anything on Gunna.
- 10:07Speaker 1: But the ug what it sounds like for our It
- 10:13Speaker 1: sounds a little to see a clip of looking at
- 10:16Speaker 1: somebody crazy when yeah, he was like damn, damn for real,
- 10:21Speaker 1: for real, Hey, I mean it's gotta suck, though, That's
- 10:24Speaker 1: gotta suck, bro to see all your partners. All right,
- 10:29Speaker 1: let's be real now, Okay, the whole street code of
- 10:32Speaker 1: like don't sit, snitch and all this stuff, Like, honestly,
- 10:36Speaker 1: when people are face put yourself in that situation. That
- 10:40Speaker 1: part I hear you, but listen, they do, they'd be
- 10:43Speaker 1: in the situations and then when the situation gets real,
- 10:46Speaker 1: they showed their real ass and they do what they
- 10:48Speaker 1: gotta do to get home to their families. Do all
- 10:52Speaker 1: your dirt by you're lonesome. Because if someone says all
- 10:55Speaker 1: you gotta do is you're going to jail, someone says
- 11:00Speaker 1: all we gotta do is y'all going to jail. Can
- 11:02Speaker 1: we talk about the street code, like, like where did
- 11:04Speaker 1: it come from? Why do we find so hard to
- 11:06Speaker 1: stand stand by it? Like if you're innocent, why why
- 11:11Speaker 1: take the heat for someone else? Like I didn't. Some
- 11:13Speaker 1: of these guys are not interested. Let's let's get out
- 11:17Speaker 1: of thugs. Case in general, the street code of don't stick,
- 11:21Speaker 1: don't snitch, like like for instance, little Kim, she didn't
- 11:23Speaker 1: snitch and she did her bid and she came back.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Why is there so much honor in that? Is where
- 11:28Speaker 1: I'm lost that like I believe, Okay, So I'm not
- 11:32Speaker 1: trying to speak for the streets because I from the
- 11:35Speaker 1: first thing, from the streets, I do want to praise
- 11:39Speaker 1: the people who kept me out of the streets. They
- 11:40Speaker 1: were in the streets stone any street activity. I do
- 11:45Speaker 1: praise the people that were that train needs not to
- 11:49Speaker 1: be in the streets because they saw something in me
- 11:51Speaker 1: that was like, you know, you don't want to do
- 11:52Speaker 1: this anyway. I said that to say, if you're gonna
- 11:55Speaker 1: get into that lifestyle, I believe it's a lifestyle code
- 11:58Speaker 1: of ethics. I don't know, but all I know is
- 12:01Speaker 1: if you decide to partake in that lifestyle, you have
- 12:04Speaker 1: to also deal with the repercussions that come with that lifestyle.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And that part of it is not telling you know.
- 12:11Speaker 1: They changed the game with the rico tones. That means
- 12:14Speaker 1: if one person do something and you associated with that person,
- 12:19Speaker 1: that they arrest everyone under that imprint. It's literally awful
- 12:24Speaker 1: to get the person that they need. They're gonna hit
- 12:27Speaker 1: everybody with the same amount of time and then eventually
- 12:30Speaker 1: it's going to crumble. I mean, and as we say,
- 12:33Speaker 1: you know, speak on the street codes and and and
- 12:36Speaker 1: stuff like that. I mean, the Rico was made kind
- 12:39Speaker 1: of for the mafia because they would not break colde
- 12:43Speaker 1: in the mafia, like you don't never tell, you die
- 12:46Speaker 1: even before you tell. And that's how you got out
- 12:48Speaker 1: of situations like that by not telling. You think if
- 12:52Speaker 1: no one would have said absolutely anything in thugs case,
- 12:56Speaker 1: that all of this would have gone away. Maybe possibly, yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 1: potentially imagine if no one said anything and they were like,
- 13:07Speaker 1: you know what, man, ain't nobody giving up the no
- 13:09Speaker 1: let this man go. We're speaking of the streets. I
- 13:12Speaker 1: have a curved about question of the day. This one
- 13:15Speaker 1: comes from Waka Fla. Well, God bless you right, you
- 13:20Speaker 1: have to change you with you have to be wrong.
- 13:22Speaker 1: So in other words, once you sin to a certain level,
- 13:25Speaker 1: you got to leave that long you can't go back
- 13:27Speaker 1: to the street. And I don't don't you know, I
- 13:30Speaker 1: all respect? Why would I roll that to somebody that
- 13:32Speaker 1: ain't one break? Why I roll dice with somebody who
- 13:35Speaker 1: not in my tax breaking? That's a bar. I'm trying
- 13:38Speaker 1: to articulate late discorrectly. You know, as you elevate, you know,
- 13:43Speaker 1: for some reason, we tend to always say, you know,
- 13:45Speaker 1: then you gotta pull some people like with you. But
- 13:49Speaker 1: and I think sometimes it's I'm speaking on African American
- 13:52Speaker 1: man we we elevate a little bit, and we're expected
- 13:56Speaker 1: to do so much when we don't even know how to.
- 13:59Speaker 1: We don't even know financial literacy, we don't know how
- 14:02Speaker 1: our credit works, we don't know how to support ourselves.
- 14:06Speaker 1: But then as soon as we get a little bit
- 14:08Speaker 1: of money, we're helping so many people to a point
- 14:11Speaker 1: where it's gonna make us broke. And then when we're broke,
- 14:13Speaker 1: it's like, damn, they got why are you broke? I
- 14:16Speaker 1: was just trying to And we don't have the right tools,
- 14:19Speaker 1: we don't have the right knowledge, we don't have the
- 14:21Speaker 1: right information to do so. And one thing I've learned
- 14:26Speaker 1: over time is I see other cultures teaching financial literacy
- 14:30Speaker 1: at such a young age to a point where I've
- 14:33Speaker 1: seen fifteen year old other and other cultures have businesses,
- 14:38Speaker 1: have literacy to a point where they understand their credit.
- 14:41Speaker 1: They're building their credit. By the time, where I didn't
- 14:44Speaker 1: understand my credits, I was like thirty. I didn't know
- 14:46Speaker 1: it was important. I didn't care. I didn't care because
- 14:50Speaker 1: I wasn't told. You know what I'm saying, like, no
- 14:52Speaker 1: disrespect to my parents. Like my parents, my dad did
- 14:55Speaker 1: the best he could. My mom did the best she could,
- 14:57Speaker 1: But I didn't know any type of financial literacy until
- 15:00Speaker 1: was I was at least twenty nine, and I was
- 15:03Speaker 1: at a disadvantage that point. I was at a five
- 15:05Speaker 1: thirty something. I didn't know that I can get a
- 15:08Speaker 1: nice car with good credit, don't have to put no
- 15:11Speaker 1: money down. I'm always hustling and trying to come up
- 15:14Speaker 1: with a down payment. Like, I didn't know any of that. You.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I didn't know about shell companies. I didn't know about
- 15:18Speaker 1: getting the business credit card and putting all cutting some
- 15:21Speaker 1: debt on that ship. I don't got I don't got
- 15:23Speaker 1: no debt on my name. Everything is under Ferris and LC.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't know any of that ship.
- 15:29Speaker 1: So if we don't know, how do you elevate, Well,
- 15:33Speaker 1: you elevate by spreading information. So I think I think
- 15:37Speaker 1: the future is right for people that look like me, um,
- 15:42Speaker 1: because we have to spread the information as much as possible.
- 15:44Speaker 1: But what Waka Flocker is saying, Um, yeah, man, you
- 15:49Speaker 1: can't really be jeopardizing your safety when you elevate, because
- 15:54Speaker 1: when you elevate, bro like, you have people depending on you.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Look at young thugs he was employing at least a
- 16:00Speaker 1: hundred people. I'm not talking about the gang, gang, gang
- 16:03Speaker 1: ship whatever. He was employing other people, legitimate businesses. He
- 16:08Speaker 1: was employing people. He's in jail now. Those people now
- 16:11Speaker 1: have to find other type of jobs. So you can't
- 16:13Speaker 1: necessarily put yourself in those spaces when you're making money
- 16:17Speaker 1: like that. Well, what was the actual cardball question? Yeah?
- 16:20Speaker 1: What was the question? Yeah, So I was gonna ask,
- 16:26Speaker 1: do you agree with that? Do you agree that you know,
- 16:29Speaker 1: once you make it to a certain level, you shouldn't
- 16:32Speaker 1: be in the hood. No more um to build on
- 16:34Speaker 1: for our statement. I think it's it's hard to get
- 16:36Speaker 1: away from certain habits, right, Like we grow up a
- 16:38Speaker 1: certain way, you enjoy rolling dice, you still have some
- 16:43Speaker 1: like minded things with certain people, and maybe you feel
- 16:45Speaker 1: like the only people that relate to those things are
- 16:48Speaker 1: the people from the hood that you come from. I
- 16:50Speaker 1: can understand that, But what I don't understand is you're
- 16:53Speaker 1: not looking at the bigger picture. I don't understand you
- 16:57Speaker 1: trying to dissect I rolle with these people because we
- 17:01Speaker 1: like to shoot dice. Yeah, they also like to kill
- 17:03Speaker 1: people like and and and you know that too. They
- 17:06Speaker 1: also like to ride people and you know that too.
- 17:08Speaker 1: There's too much that you know to just be stuck
- 17:12Speaker 1: on the part of to just be stuck on the
- 17:14Speaker 1: fun part. Oh, it's fun being in the hood at
- 17:16Speaker 1: three am. It's fun going to the this type of
- 17:18Speaker 1: strip club or hanging out with these types of people.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It's fun. What about the parts of it that aren't fun?
- 17:23Speaker 1: I feel like that those things should be on the
- 17:25Speaker 1: forefront of your mind because of your new responsibility. Is
- 17:28Speaker 1: your new success, Like, I don't think it's smart that
- 17:31Speaker 1: people try to negate the dangers of it because they
- 17:35Speaker 1: just want to have fun. That's where I think people
- 17:37Speaker 1: get messed up at and it's unfortunate pegging back on
- 17:40Speaker 1: both of you. You have something to lose now, wait
- 17:43Speaker 1: more than you have before. And those people don't facts.
- 17:47Speaker 1: They're in the same spot you left them at. And
- 17:49Speaker 1: I mean, there needs to be a lot more consideration
- 17:53Speaker 1: for for things like that. Um, take off, did not
- 17:56Speaker 1: have to did not have to die. He didn't have
- 17:59Speaker 1: to die. Um. I mean, it's unfortunately. Even look at
- 18:01Speaker 1: Nipsey Hustle. You know the times that he was in
- 18:04Speaker 1: the hood, he was doing God's work, is his life
- 18:08Speaker 1: was still taken away and in a gruesome, cruel type
- 18:11Speaker 1: of way. So you just have to understand that just
- 18:13Speaker 1: because you make more money now or your blessings are different,
- 18:17Speaker 1: that does not mean that these people who are still
- 18:19Speaker 1: in this hood mentality living in the hood, are going
- 18:22Speaker 1: to respect you anymore. You're just another lick. You're just
- 18:25Speaker 1: another lick. I think it's very poor what you said
- 18:27Speaker 1: that people should take away. Just think about you, know
- 18:32Speaker 1: you you you want to have fun, but just also
- 18:34Speaker 1: remember it's not fun for everybody, especially when bad things happen.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And another side to that man side, and it's a
- 18:44Speaker 1: dangerous like they remember when you was down here, broke
- 18:48Speaker 1: with them, and now you want to pull up in
- 18:50Speaker 1: your nice car and your and your jewelry, and oh
- 18:53Speaker 1: you want to try to play me from my money.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Like people don't feel good about themselves, let alone want
- 18:58Speaker 1: somebody who they used to see as an equal has
- 19:01Speaker 1: surpassed them in their minds, like, nah, it ain't safe,
- 19:05Speaker 1: it's not safe, stay away. And how many stories do
- 19:08Speaker 1: we have to hear over and over and over and
- 19:11Speaker 1: over again for you to realize that same hood. It
- 19:15Speaker 1: might be a different hood, but it's the same ship.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Wherever you go in their hometown all the time, and
- 19:22Speaker 1: I think, you know, it's just like you know, thinking
- 19:24Speaker 1: about like a CARDI view, you know, sometimes gets angry
- 19:27Speaker 1: or or you know, feeds into the haters and they
- 19:31Speaker 1: want her to pull up to the hood and she
- 19:33Speaker 1: actually goes. I feel like, you know, you don't. You
- 19:37Speaker 1: don't got nothing to prove to these people, not at all,
- 19:39Speaker 1: not at all. You passed that baby Grammys money respect.
- 19:45Speaker 1: You're having meetings with with millionaires and billionaires like you're
- 19:48Speaker 1: in a different league. You don't have nothing to prove
- 19:51Speaker 1: to nobody who don't got nothing to lose. Back with
- 19:56Speaker 1: more of the Baller Alert yall it loves. The minute
- 20:04Speaker 1: I met you, baby, I knew I wanted to manage
- 20:07Speaker 1: or the love of money. It's love versus money. They said,
- 20:13Speaker 1: you can't put a price tag on love. I love
- 20:17Speaker 1: on the ball or Alert show back with the Brother
- 20:20Speaker 1: Alert Show Happy New Year three And they kicked it
- 20:23Speaker 1: off just like this, we gotta love versus money. Come on, yo,
- 20:26Speaker 1: Gotti and Angela sings, Yeah, I've been waiting on this.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I've been waiting on this couple. It's official. That's the reveal.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I thought I was late. They scrubbed their Instagrams and
- 20:37Speaker 1: just put each other on there. I like you. So
- 20:39Speaker 1: that was the reveal. I'm not tripping, Okay. I saw
- 20:43Speaker 1: it and I thought it was just maybe a photo shoot.
- 20:45Speaker 1: That was the certified stamp. I feel like stamp, he said.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Guy said, I ain't had this questions high school. I
- 20:51Speaker 1: ain't had a questions high school. Said in her story,
- 20:55Speaker 1: this is the happiest I've ever been. How long had
- 20:57Speaker 1: they been together? How? When? When did actually happened? Was
- 21:00Speaker 1: the first date? I think that he bought your girl Gradfield.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I think I think YO got He's been softening the
- 21:06Speaker 1: palette for a little minute. You've been telling her. I
- 21:10Speaker 1: think she probably thought it was some bullshit. I would
- 21:12Speaker 1: have to. I just followed Angela Simmons. I gotta crush
- 21:16Speaker 1: on Angela. That was a long time ago. He really
- 21:21Speaker 1: manifested this relationship and I can think about it if
- 21:26Speaker 1: you're Angela Simmons, Like, for think about it, if you're
- 21:28Speaker 1: Angela Simmons, A rapper says he has a crush on you.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Are you really taking it seriously? Like are you really
- 21:33Speaker 1: going to be like, oh, let me initially probably know,
- 21:37Speaker 1: probably know, but Ron daughter now like come ont Okay.
- 21:41Speaker 1: So to my answer, they're both in there. I think
- 21:44Speaker 1: your guy is there for the love for show. I
- 21:46Speaker 1: think Angela Simmons is in there because, you know, as
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yo Gotti, and she likes him. I don't think she
- 21:52Speaker 1: likes him likes him. I think he likes her more
- 21:54Speaker 1: than she likes him. I didn't know they were together.
- 21:57Speaker 1: But if I can tap back into my days to
- 21:59Speaker 1: the pair swore last month, if I could tap back
- 22:02Speaker 1: into my days, were like, you know, where the hood
- 22:05Speaker 1: guys were on me. I was like, oh, so impressed
- 22:07Speaker 1: by it because it was like, you know, hood guys
- 22:08Speaker 1: always love a good girl. They always love a good girl.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So I was I feel like that might be that dynamic.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You know, he's a street savvy guy. He's also super
- 22:18Speaker 1: business savvy, career, very paid, very paid. You know, it's
- 22:23Speaker 1: cool they need to settle down. Possibly he you know,
- 22:25Speaker 1: he definitely drank, doesn't smoke, he works out. He's looking
- 22:30Speaker 1: for a queen to the I I like it. I
- 22:37Speaker 1: think they are both there for the love. I think
- 22:40Speaker 1: if it was any other case, I think Angelo would
- 22:42Speaker 1: have taken advantage years ago. I really think that maybe
- 22:45Speaker 1: he was doing his due diligence and like trying to
- 22:48Speaker 1: get to nowhere, showing her a different side of of himself.
- 22:51Speaker 1: And they're together now, but I want to know how long?
- 22:54Speaker 1: How long you've been together to make a New Year's
- 22:56Speaker 1: announcement like that. Outfits have a man chase you for
- 23:01Speaker 1: that long three or four months. I think they've been
- 23:04Speaker 1: age three to four months. It's got two careers, yourself
- 23:17Speaker 1: selling myself. You know what it is, you know what
- 23:19Speaker 1: it is. Okay, when we come back podcast Fellas shout
- 23:33Speaker 1: out Suit gold Slid immediately we'll be right back with
- 23:36Speaker 1: more of the Baller Alert Show. It is time for
- 23:42Speaker 1: baller mail. Dear ball Alert, My lady and I just
- 23:47Speaker 1: got back together after a recent break up for about
- 23:49Speaker 1: four months. After getting back together, we both put it
- 23:53Speaker 1: all on the table before deciding to take the relationship
- 23:55Speaker 1: seriously moving forward. I slept with someone and she slept
- 23:59Speaker 1: with on win in our four month break. The person
- 24:02Speaker 1: I slept with was a one night thing and only
- 24:04Speaker 1: happened once. The person she slept with was an X
- 24:07Speaker 1: and they slept together repeatedly. I'm having a hard time
- 24:11Speaker 1: getting over that because it was an ex. What do
- 24:14Speaker 1: you guys think I think you need to get over it,
- 24:17Speaker 1: Just get over it. Sex or sex you over here,
- 24:19Speaker 1: adding adding body counts. She just recycled, it's okay, what's
- 24:23Speaker 1: wrong with it? Get over if you if you're all
- 24:25Speaker 1: are gonna get back together, you have to let it go,
- 24:27Speaker 1: no matter who it was, how many times y'all were
- 24:31Speaker 1: on a break and y'all have decided to get back
- 24:33Speaker 1: together for your own sanity, let it go. M same. Well, brother,
- 24:39Speaker 1: what she did was the ultimate no. No, you had
- 24:42Speaker 1: the highlight reel go off in your head. Okay, she
- 24:45Speaker 1: says she had sex with her ex multiple time. You
- 24:47Speaker 1: started thinking about when she was giving him filatio and
- 24:50Speaker 1: he was putting his mouth on her. You know all
- 24:52Speaker 1: that happened, brother, and you decided to take a bad
- 24:54Speaker 1: kiss in the mouth, and that's what you want to
- 24:56Speaker 1: go ahead, but you can't complain if you decide to
- 24:59Speaker 1: be with them. Just delete the highlight reel of her
- 25:02Speaker 1: and her ex going back and forth. If the X,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I think the ex is probably bother you because maybe
- 25:07Speaker 1: he is in proximity to you. So if that's gonna
- 25:10Speaker 1: be a problem, my brother, do not get in back.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Do not get back in this relationship. If you can't
- 25:16Speaker 1: handle the fact that she went back and got a
- 25:19Speaker 1: salad tossed. So I'm telling me, Bro, do not get
- 25:23Speaker 1: back in this relationship if you can't handle her getting
- 25:27Speaker 1: her box eight and tow up from the floor up
- 25:29Speaker 1: from the X. Because you know they had passionate sex.
- 25:32Speaker 1: That's just what happens. Bro. He wouldn't puposed to be
- 25:35Speaker 1: doing that. She wouldn't be doing that. They decided to
- 25:37Speaker 1: do some adult things and you couldn't handle it. You've
- 25:40Speaker 1: grown ass man, Deal with it or don't be with her.
- 25:46Speaker 1: In the discussion for the pep talking, who we got
- 25:55Speaker 1: but the pep talk Today, I want to do something
- 25:56Speaker 1: a little different. It's Jordan. Give want to hear any
- 26:01Speaker 1: goals you have. You know a lot of people this
- 26:03Speaker 1: year I've noticed aren't doing resolutions, but they're setting goals.
- 26:06Speaker 1: So I just you know, I want to hear from
- 26:09Speaker 1: you all goals you may have. I like the O C.
- 26:11Speaker 1: T Um so I realized that setting a goals list
- 26:15Speaker 1: for me in this phase of my life is not beneficial.
- 26:19Speaker 1: My one resolution is to grow and fix my relationship
- 26:23Speaker 1: with God. I feel like anything that I could possibly
- 26:25Speaker 1: think of will fall underneath my relationship with God. I
- 26:29Speaker 1: can sit here and say, oh, I want to do
- 26:30Speaker 1: this professionally, and I want to do I want to
- 26:32Speaker 1: work out and all this stuff, but I feel that
- 26:34Speaker 1: if I don't have the relationship that I want with
- 26:37Speaker 1: the higher powers, and all those things will just be
- 26:39Speaker 1: things on the list. They're not going to be things
- 26:41Speaker 1: that I'm actually working towards or achieving. So my only
- 26:44Speaker 1: resolution this year is to fix my relationship with the
- 26:47Speaker 1: higher Power. That's that's all I'm focusing on. Everything else
- 26:50Speaker 1: will follow. Yeah. Uh, that's interesting to said that, because
- 26:54Speaker 1: I was gonna mind is along the same lines, um,
- 26:56Speaker 1: was to be a little bit more about me, uh,
- 27:00Speaker 1: spiritually and health wise. I've been neglecting my body and
- 27:07Speaker 1: my inner self because I've been accomplishing a lot of things.
- 27:10Speaker 1: And it's dope to accomplish things. And you know us,
- 27:13Speaker 1: we're entrepreneurs, serial entrepreneurs. We will accomplish something and then
- 27:17Speaker 1: be like, all right, cool, what's next, um, And I
- 27:20Speaker 1: don't want to do that this year, UM, because I've
- 27:22Speaker 1: been accomplishing so much. I want to accomplish getting to
- 27:26Speaker 1: know my spirituality and you know, being more there for
- 27:30Speaker 1: my kids and my wife and my taking care of
- 27:33Speaker 1: my health because um it's been slowing me down a
- 27:37Speaker 1: little bit, my health. And I'm starting to get as
- 27:40Speaker 1: I'm getting older and I'm almost forty, not forty yet
- 27:43Speaker 1: before you this year, but I'm getting there, and I'm
- 27:46Speaker 1: starting to pay attention to things not going wrong, but
- 27:49Speaker 1: things are starting to need repairs. And you know, I
- 27:52Speaker 1: got to go to the doctor for this CHOLESTERO. Gott
- 27:54Speaker 1: watched my cholestero. I gott watch what I eat. All
- 27:56Speaker 1: types of ship like that. So I definitely want to
- 27:58Speaker 1: focus more on that and upen other people too. So UM,
- 28:02Speaker 1: I want to do that as much as possible. So
- 28:04Speaker 1: that's my only goal, really work and focus on that. Okay.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Uh For myself, I'm just gonna carry over what I've
- 28:13Speaker 1: been you know doing two. I was shaking very spiritually,
- 28:17Speaker 1: uh last year, so I really focused in on my
- 28:22Speaker 1: body and spirit just strenthening all three, and UM, I'm
- 28:25Speaker 1: going to continue that. In man, everybody's getting right with them.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Two three, uh seven seven is the number of completion,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and uh, you know what you started, you shall complete.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I love this for us guys, and I love it
