Transcript
- 0:57Speaker 1: Hey guys, Happy Monday. I hope everybody can hear me.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I feel a little combobulated after traveling for twice in
- 1:08Speaker 1: the last couple of weeks and got in really late
- 1:11Speaker 1: last night from California, So feeling a little just combobulated,
- 1:17Speaker 1: but that is okay. I hope everyone had an amazing weekend.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I did. Had a great time in California. Was able
- 1:28Speaker 1: to get some work stuff done and mix work, and
- 1:33Speaker 1: then also met with one of the investigators who's helping
- 1:36Speaker 1: on the Chase Lackey investigation. We got to meet in
- 1:40Speaker 1: person and do some stuff together. And then also, if
- 1:46Speaker 1: you saw on our social media, went and visited the
- 1:49Speaker 1: pack and mal place that Chase an Addison shipped product from,
- 1:55Speaker 1: so that was kind of cool to go there. Also
- 2:00Speaker 1: did a lot of wine tasting and I'm excited. I
- 2:03Speaker 1: went and grabbed this out of my suitcase real quick.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Thursday night. JT and I are live with True Crime
- 2:09Speaker 1: and Wine Time, and when I was at one of
- 2:12Speaker 1: the winery tasting rooms, I said, Hey, you know, if
- 2:18Speaker 1: y'all ever want to give us some wine and sponsor
- 2:24Speaker 1: our podcast, True Crime and Wine Time, we would be
- 2:26Speaker 1: thrilled to do that. Guess what they walked over gave
- 2:31Speaker 1: me a bottle. It's J and M Seller So it's
- 2:35Speaker 1: John and Michelle Sellers and NAPA. So I will be
- 2:39Speaker 1: drinking this on Thursday's live stream. It's a dry rose.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I have to tell you. It was a cool little
- 2:47Speaker 1: tasting room. Staff was great, everything about it was great,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and the wines were really good. Their rose was good,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and then I also had their seven young blocks, so
- 2:57Speaker 1: it was really good. So once again, thank you all
- 3:01Speaker 1: for being here. I am Terry true Crime. For those
- 3:04Speaker 1: of you that are not familiar with me and you
- 3:06Speaker 1: maybe just stumbled across this page, welcome. I am half

- 3:23Speaker 1: that we live stream here on our YouTube channel. Currently,

- 3:32Speaker 1: Crime and Wine Time, which you can find live stream
- 3:35Speaker 1: on YouTube, but then you can also find it on
- 3:38Speaker 1: the podcast apps. Then JT does Night Court, the Hey
- 3:43Speaker 1: host show, and I do I have to stop and think.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I do True Crime and Wine Time with JT. We
- 3:51Speaker 1: both do the investigation into the disappearance of Chase Lackey
- 3:55Speaker 1: and then on Mondays and Wednesdays at lunchtime like today,

- 4:04Speaker 1: a week, so be sure to subscribe to our page
- 4:06Speaker 1: so you don't miss anything. I will tell you that
- 4:09Speaker 1: this week JT will not be doing Night Court or
- 4:13Speaker 1: the hay host Show. We will live stream True Crime
- 4:17Speaker 1: and mind Time, but he is taking off the rest
- 4:19Speaker 1: of the week to handle some things, so once again,
- 4:23Speaker 1: thank you. Oh it looks like Bianca's sister is joining us.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I actually had reached out to her. We are going
- 4:33Speaker 1: to talk. I wasn't able to connect with her last
- 4:36Speaker 1: week because I was traveling, so I'm excited that she's here.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I am going to be covering Beyonca's case today, but
- 4:44Speaker 1: I will be doing a special episode just on Bianca
- 4:48Speaker 1: after I have the chance to talk with her sister. Now,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I learned about Bianca's case I have on my bracelets
- 4:57Speaker 1: at the podcast festival that JT and I went to
- 5:01Speaker 1: two weeks ago. I don't know times just kind of
- 5:04Speaker 1: all mixing in, but heard about her case and it's
- 5:08Speaker 1: very close to me. It's in San Antonio, so I
- 5:11Speaker 1: am going to share some basics that I found about
- 5:14Speaker 1: the case. Just know that we will be doing a
- 5:17Speaker 1: special episode just on Bianca.
- 5:20Speaker 2: So welcome.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I can pronounce the last name.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm assuming it's Carrasco. Normally I like to make sure
- 5:31Speaker 1: before I say it, but Bianca Carrasco. If I say
- 5:35Speaker 1: that wrong, I apologize and I promise I will get
- 5:39Speaker 1: it right next time. So welcome, Javanna. I see you're
- 5:44Speaker 1: in the chat, So everybody say hello to Javanna.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Bernie.
- 5:48Speaker 1: That is Bianca's sister. So Bianca went missing May first
- 5:54Speaker 1: of twenty sixteen, but let me tell you a little
- 5:57Speaker 1: bit about her. She was born on July twenty five,
- 6:00Speaker 1: so yesterday was her thirty eighth birthday. The family had
- 6:05Speaker 1: an event in San Antonio this past weekend. I was
- 6:09Speaker 1: very sad that I couldn't drive up there because I
- 6:11Speaker 1: already had the trip planned to California. And we share
- 6:15Speaker 1: a birthday months since my birthdays tomorrow. Kind of cool
- 6:19Speaker 1: that Bianca and I share that. So. She was born
- 6:23Speaker 1: July twenty first, nineteen eighty six. She was from the
- 6:27Speaker 1: Odessa area.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:29Speaker 1: She married Joe Crosco when she was eighteen and he
- 6:33Speaker 1: was around twenty nine. I found some stories that said
- 6:36Speaker 1: twenty eight, some that said twenty nine, So I'm just
- 6:39Speaker 1: gonna say twenty nine.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:42Speaker 1: So they moved from Odessa to San Antonio, and according
- 6:47Speaker 1: to the family members and reports I saw online, it
- 6:51Speaker 1: said their marriage was troubled, which tells you that the
- 6:57Speaker 1: story is probably gonna get a little, as I call it, frustrating.
- 7:03Speaker 1: So on May second, Beyonca's sister filed a missing person
- 7:07Speaker 1: report after being able to contact her. She had tried
- 7:11Speaker 1: reaching out to Bianca the day before and on that day,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but when she couldn't, she called Joe Now. He told
- 7:19Speaker 1: her they had had a huge, huge fight and Beyonca left,
- 7:23Speaker 1: walked out and left her kids behind. Now, as a
- 7:27Speaker 1: mom and knowing so many moms, I'm going to tell
- 7:31Speaker 1: you that that was the first red flag for me
- 7:33Speaker 1: because most moms I know, there's a few moms out
- 7:38Speaker 1: there that I'm not sure they should be moms, but
- 7:40Speaker 1: you don't leave your kids behind. But anyway, concerned, her
- 7:44Speaker 1: sister did report her missing. Now, one of the things
- 7:48Speaker 1: that caused me to reach out to her sister was
- 7:53Speaker 1: there was so many conflicting stories on this next part
- 7:59Speaker 1: and I'm a hope being. I'm going to share what
- 8:02Speaker 1: I did is I took the stories and reports and
- 8:06Speaker 1: I took the common denominator, the one to seem to
- 8:09Speaker 1: share the fact the most is what I decided I
- 8:12Speaker 1: would use as record. But I am looking forward to
- 8:16Speaker 1: talking to her sister and debunking straightening all of this, because,
- 8:21Speaker 1: as I've told y'all, with the murder that happened in
- 8:24Speaker 1: my family, the Snapped episode was absolutely wrong. There was
- 8:29Speaker 1: so many things just reported wrong. So I do want
- 8:33Speaker 1: to just say that I took the common denominator. So
- 8:36Speaker 1: Joe claimed Bianca was having an affair, took off her
- 8:39Speaker 1: wedding ring and walked away. Now, everything I saw her
- 8:44Speaker 1: sister was an adamant that Bianca might walk away from
- 8:48Speaker 1: her husband, but she wasn't going to abandon her children.
- 8:52Speaker 1: She was a mom, loved her kids, loved being a mom,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and everything that I saw in all the articles, friends
- 9:01Speaker 1: and family described her as funny, caring, and a great mom.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So a great mom doesn't walk away from their kids.
- 9:10Speaker 1: She has three children and she worked as a registered
- 9:13Speaker 1: nurse in San Antonio. Now, Bionca left home without her
- 9:17Speaker 1: car and most of her belongings. So here's where that
- 9:23Speaker 1: other red flag comes in for me. Days before her disappearance,
- 9:27Speaker 1: she had decided to divorce Joe and plan to move
- 9:30Speaker 1: on with her children. Okay, I'm going to just tell you, guys,
- 9:36Speaker 1: in case you don't know anyone, in a domestic violence situation,
- 9:39Speaker 1: even if there hasn't been physical violence and it's all emotional,
- 9:43Speaker 1: financial abuse, that kind of thing, it is still a
- 9:47Speaker 1: very dangerous time for someone to get out of that relationship,
- 9:51Speaker 1: even if they have not shown any physical violence before.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So Joe suggested that biyonca l to be with another man,
- 10:02Speaker 1: and he didn't really seem to show concern over her disappearance.
- 10:06Speaker 1: And I'm going to just tell you right now, I
- 10:09Speaker 1: would like to think even my ex husband, my kid's dad,
- 10:14Speaker 1: that if when we were splitting up, if I would
- 10:18Speaker 1: have stormed out without the kids, because we got into
- 10:20Speaker 1: a lot of arguments, a lot of fights, I took
- 10:22Speaker 1: a lot of walks, that he would have been concerned
- 10:25Speaker 1: over my disappearance, at least from the standpoint that I'm
- 10:29Speaker 1: his children's mother. So right off the bat, I wanted
- 10:32Speaker 1: to say, Joe, that does not make you look good.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Okay, you should be.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Concerned whether you are still in love with this person
- 10:39Speaker 1: or not, over the fact that your children's mother is missing. Now,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I also saw some reports, and I think I even
- 10:48Speaker 1: went down a Reddit rabbit hole or two, that Joe,
- 10:52Speaker 1: up to her disappearance had kind of gone a little crazy.
- 10:56Speaker 1: He knew things were coming to an end in the marriage,
- 10:59Speaker 1: or that the marriage was trouble, and he was calling everybody,
- 11:02Speaker 1: talking to everybody, you want to know where she was.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Then lo and behold, she walks out and he no
- 11:08Speaker 1: longer has concern. So red flag, red flag, red flag.
- 11:14Speaker 1: So Beyonca's sister, who lived in Houston, reported her missing
- 11:18Speaker 1: to the police. Okay, they questioned why Joe hadn't followed
- 11:21Speaker 1: the report, and I'm kind of like them, why didn't he? Now,
- 11:27Speaker 1: I did find that Joe spoke to the San Antonio
- 11:30Speaker 1: police after the report was filed, admitting that he discovered
- 11:34Speaker 1: Beyonca's affair. And I found one article that said he
- 11:37Speaker 1: took all of the money from their bank account and
- 11:39Speaker 1: he confiscated her phone. So first off, you don't go
- 11:44Speaker 1: and take all the money out of the account. Okay,
- 11:47Speaker 1: that's just rude, that's just not nice. So the other thing,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you don't take her phone, right, But initially he claimed
- 11:57Speaker 1: that she took her phone, but then later he said
- 12:00Speaker 1: he had it. So that was one of the stories
- 12:03Speaker 1: that I kept seeing go back and forth. So I
- 12:05Speaker 1: am very interested to find out when I talk to
- 12:10Speaker 1: her sister about what really happened or what their understanding is,
- 12:15Speaker 1: because that is sus to me in so many ways.
- 12:20Speaker 1: And guess what, he stopped cooperating with the police.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And it's baffling. And I know I've said this. We
- 12:29Speaker 1: all think I'm a little crazy because I keep beating
- 12:32Speaker 1: this dead horse, right, but it is baffling to me
- 12:37Speaker 1: how someone can refuse to speak to the police despite
- 12:40Speaker 1: being the last known person to seeing missing individual. I
- 12:44Speaker 1: get they have the right to not incriminate theirself. I've
- 12:48Speaker 1: said this many times. I don't know how we get
- 12:50Speaker 1: around this, but we need to have a law compelling
- 12:53Speaker 1: people to answer questions. I don't know how you do it, okay,
- 12:58Speaker 1: And if we have any attorney these experts on the law,
- 13:01Speaker 1: tell me how we can fix that, because we.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Need to fix that.
- 13:06Speaker 1: If someone is the last person seen and they say yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 1: my wife and I argued and she stormed out, I've
- 13:12Speaker 1: never seen her again.
- 13:14Speaker 2: They should be compelled to talk.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Like I said, I don't know how you do it,
- 13:19Speaker 1: but there's got to be a way now. Bianca was
- 13:22Speaker 1: last seen on May first, twenty sixteen. It has been
- 13:26Speaker 1: eight years without contact with her children and her family.
- 13:32Speaker 1: So guys, think about this. Her three children eight years.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Mom's birthday was yesterday and they didn't get to celebrate
- 13:40Speaker 1: with their mom because she's missing. And there has been
- 13:44Speaker 1: numerous tips that have come in, but none that have
- 13:47Speaker 1: led to concrete information about her disappearance. Okay, and her
- 13:51Speaker 1: family and friends remain dedicated to finding answers, and as
- 13:57Speaker 1: I mentioned, they recently celebrated her thirty eighth birthday at
- 14:01Speaker 1: friisen Han Park and guys, to me, that just reaffirms
- 14:06Speaker 1: their love and determination. And as we say in Chase's case,
- 14:10Speaker 1: somebody knows something and they want answers. And I hope
- 14:17Speaker 1: all of you will share Beyonca's missing pursing flyer. It's
- 14:21Speaker 1: on our True Crime and Wine Time facebook page. It's
- 14:23Speaker 1: also on my Tarry True Crime Facebook page. Share it,
- 14:27Speaker 1: get it out there. I mean, guys, it's July. It's
- 14:30Speaker 1: hot in Texas. It's her birthday month, it's my birthday month.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Let's put the pressure on show or whoever is involved. Okay,
- 14:40Speaker 1: let's get it out there and use the hashtag finding
- 14:44Speaker 1: Bianca like what's on the bracelet, and if you have
- 14:48Speaker 1: any information regarding her disappearance, you can call crime Stoppers
- 14:52Speaker 1: at two one zero two two four seven eight six seven.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And I'm also going to ask if you want more
- 14:59Speaker 1: information about Bianca, follow the Facebook page help Us Find
- 15:03Speaker 1: Answers for Bianca crossco like it, follow it because, like
- 15:08Speaker 1: I said, we're going to do a special episode on her.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Several podcasts have already done amazing episodes about Bianca's case.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I have listened to them this weekend. I'm going to
- 15:21Speaker 1: ask you go out and listen to them. There's Crime
- 15:26Speaker 1: with Holly, then they were Gone, Crime Lines.
- 15:30Speaker 2: And the Murder Diaries.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So I am going to ask y'all go out listen
- 15:35Speaker 1: to these episodes, share the missing persons, go join the
- 15:41Speaker 1: family group. Let's put the pressure. It's Jali. Let's make
- 15:45Speaker 1: it hot as hell on these people, because, as I've said,
- 15:49Speaker 1: an alienship did not fly into Texas being down a
- 15:54Speaker 1: little invisible ray and pick somebody up and there's no answers.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Somebody knows something, nobody just disappears. We don't have aliens
- 16:04Speaker 1: that beam down and shoot you up into a ship.
- 16:07Speaker 1: So let's do that. And I'm going to say, be
- 16:11Speaker 1: sure to subscribe to our channel because we will have
- 16:13Speaker 1: an episode dedicated just to Bianca after I get the
- 16:18Speaker 1: chance to talk with her sister. Maybe we'll even get
- 16:21Speaker 1: her to come on. We'll have to see. So next,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I want to tell you about another case that haunts
- 16:30Speaker 1: me as well. The thing that I find so similar
- 16:36Speaker 1: about Bianca's case and Christopher's, and I think in a
- 16:40Speaker 1: lot of cases, it's not a stranger reduction. It is
- 16:44Speaker 1: somebody that knows the person or the family. And that
- 16:49Speaker 1: makes it even more heartbreaking to me, especially when it's
- 16:54Speaker 1: people who supposedly care about somebody in the family or
- 16:57Speaker 1: even that person, and it just it haunts me, you know,
- 17:03Speaker 1: to think of that Christopher. And I'm going to tell y'all,
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm going to try to say this name correctly. I
- 17:09Speaker 1: have me reached out to Christopher's family as well, a
- 17:12Speaker 1: beta abe Yta, a beta Christopher. Hopefully I'm saying it right.
- 17:19Speaker 1: If not, we know, I will come back and correct myself.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Christopher was born November twenty eighth, nineteen eighty five, in
- 17:26Speaker 1: Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the youngest of seven children
- 17:30Speaker 1: in the family. They were known for having close knit
- 17:34Speaker 1: bond and strong community kais and the family was very
- 17:38Speaker 1: excited about the newest addition to their house household. And
- 17:43Speaker 1: it was so amazing to read the story about how
- 17:46Speaker 1: they all showered Christopher with love and attention and older
- 17:51Speaker 1: siblings wanted to feed him take care of him. I
- 17:55Speaker 1: can only imagine for me if I had an older brother,
- 18:00Speaker 1: or my mom had a younger child and I got
- 18:03Speaker 1: to play with it and be like a little surrogate
- 18:05Speaker 1: mom or treat it like a baby doll. Would have
- 18:07Speaker 1: been so cool. But unfortunately, the tranquility of that household
- 18:14Speaker 1: was shattered the morning of July fifteenth, nineteen eighty six.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And guys, yes, I am aware. I picked two cases
- 18:23Speaker 1: that have ties to July. I decided it's my birthday month.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I wanted to have July ties. So he went missing.
- 18:31Speaker 1: So when Christopher's mother, Bernice, woke up, she discovered their
- 18:36Speaker 1: seven month old son was missing from his crib. I mean, guys,
- 18:40Speaker 1: think of the panic that would set in when you
- 18:44Speaker 1: realize your child's not in their crib, okay, and that
- 18:48Speaker 1: your child vanished during the night. The window in the
- 18:52Speaker 1: bedroom was found slightly open, leading them to believe that
- 18:56Speaker 1: someone had entered the house and taken the infant out.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I read a couple of reports. There's a huge Reddit
- 19:04Speaker 1: rabbit holes on this case, but some said doors were
- 19:09Speaker 1: also open. People didn't leave, you know, they didn't lock
- 19:12Speaker 1: doors as much back then. A child was going to
- 19:14Speaker 1: be coming home that was older, so the door was
- 19:17Speaker 1: left unlocked. So I saw a lot of that going
- 19:20Speaker 1: back and forth. But the common denominator saw was that
- 19:24Speaker 1: the window was open. Now, the Colorado Springs Police Department
- 19:29Speaker 1: was immediately called, and from everything I read, they jumped
- 19:33Speaker 1: in and started investigating. Officers and volunteers searched the neighborhood
- 19:38Speaker 1: hoping to find any clue that would lead them to Christopher.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I mean, seven months old. He didn't get up and
- 19:45Speaker 1: just walk out. Okay, Now, I know my brother. I
- 19:49Speaker 1: don't know how old he was, but I know he
- 19:50Speaker 1: got out of his crib once before. He was walking,
- 19:53Speaker 1: so probably nine ten months, I'm not sure, but even crawling,
- 19:58Speaker 1: he couldn't go far, right.
- 20:01Speaker 2: So.
- 20:03Speaker 1: They kept looking, and the community rallied around the family
- 20:06Speaker 1: offering support and assistance. They were like, hey, what can
- 20:11Speaker 1: we do to help? Everybody jumped in and guys, the
- 20:16Speaker 1: police interviewed neighbors, friends, family members. It seems like they
- 20:22Speaker 1: went around and they were interviewing everyone. Okay, and I
- 20:27Speaker 1: love that. Now, despite the extensive efforts, there were no
- 20:32Speaker 1: significant leads in this case. Now, the lack of evidence
- 20:36Speaker 1: and witnesses make this case even me more perplexing because
- 20:41Speaker 1: the possibility of a stranger abduction, which I have to
- 20:45Speaker 1: tell y'all, is terrifying to think that someone is watching
- 20:48Speaker 1: you and comes and takes your child. I agree that
- 20:54Speaker 1: seems very unlikely, but Chris's family has never given up hope.
- 21:01Speaker 1: They have continued to work tiresly to keep Christopher's case
- 21:05Speaker 1: in the public. His story has been featured on various
- 21:09Speaker 1: news programs, true crime shows. I mean, it has brought
- 21:13Speaker 1: in interest in tips all across the country, but as
- 21:19Speaker 1: of today, Christopher has not been brought home. Now, I
- 21:25Speaker 1: need to tell you that Bernice and her husband Gil
- 21:30Speaker 1: had been separated. Bernice had accused her husband of having
- 21:35Speaker 1: an affair and they had separated, but they got back together.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Gil stayed at the house and the next morning is
- 21:48Speaker 1: when Christopher went missing. Okay, that's heartbreaking. Now. The family
- 21:54Speaker 1: felt that Emma Bradshaw, which is the woman that Gil
- 22:01Speaker 1: was suspected of having an affair with, saw some articles
- 22:04Speaker 1: that said, yes, they for sure had an affair, some
- 22:06Speaker 1: said it was suspected. I even saw some that said
- 22:09Speaker 1: they continued the affair for years.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I wasn't in the bedroom with them, so I'm going
- 22:15Speaker 1: to say they alleged that they were having an affair.
- 22:19Speaker 1: But they also felt that Emma took Christopher motivated by
- 22:26Speaker 1: a vendetta because if Gil told her, hey it's over,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I'm going back to my wife and my kids could
- 22:33Speaker 1: spin her spinning.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Now. I found a lot of.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Stories that Emma had issues before with some mental instability,
- 22:44Speaker 1: as far as people breaking up with her, her breaking
- 22:47Speaker 1: into their house, her stalking them, her doing Bunny Boiler stuff. Okay,
- 22:53Speaker 1: just can't help but think of I forget what the
- 22:56Speaker 1: character's name is, but Bunny Boiler lay. So they suspected
- 23:03Speaker 1: she had something again it now, Bernice dedicated her life
- 23:06Speaker 1: to fighting her son guys. She passed away in twenty
- 23:10Speaker 1: seventeen without ever knowing what happened to her Christopher, who
- 23:15Speaker 1: is seven months old. Okay, guys, that is heartbreaking. She
- 23:24Speaker 1: died and think of all of the night she went
- 23:27Speaker 1: to bed not knowing where her son is or what
- 23:31Speaker 1: happened to him. And she died without knowing. I mean,
- 23:36Speaker 1: they said she never stopped looking. Her and Gil continued
- 23:42Speaker 1: to look for their son. Now, Gil had also dedicated
- 23:45Speaker 1: his life defining Christopher, and he was an advocate for
- 23:49Speaker 1: other missing children and their families. He passed away in
- 23:53Speaker 1: August of twenty twenty. So, guys, two parents left this
- 23:59Speaker 1: beautiful earth not knowing what happened to their son. Okay,
- 24:06Speaker 1: I mean, I can't imagine. And there's some other things
- 24:14Speaker 1: that I find frustrating about this case that I will
- 24:18Speaker 1: tell you.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Now, the disappearance of Christopher remains one of Colorado's most
- 24:23Speaker 1: haunting mystery.
- 24:24Speaker 2: The case is still open.
- 24:26Speaker 1: And the Colorado Springs Police Department continues to say that
- 24:30Speaker 1: they are seeking any information that might lead to answers.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Interestingly enough, I found many articles that talked about Colorado
- 24:40Speaker 1: Springs police destroying much of the case evidence. And Guys,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I can't help but say What in the hell why
- 24:50Speaker 1: would you destroy evidence in a missing person case? So
- 24:54Speaker 1: it's a seven month old child who disappeared from their crib. Yeah,
- 25:01Speaker 1: how did you destroy evidence? How? Guys, this next thing
- 25:09Speaker 1: is going to send you over the edge like it
- 25:12Speaker 1: did me. And I'm going to try very hard to
- 25:15Speaker 1: keep my colorful language in check.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I then read about the mayor of Colorado Springs mayor
- 25:21Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen who grabbed one of Christopher's sister shoulders
- 25:26Speaker 1: after they had an event and firmly placed his hand
- 25:30Speaker 1: on her shoulder. His arm extended and grabbed his other
- 25:36Speaker 1: sister's shoulder firmly with this other extended art pushed them together. Okay,
- 25:41Speaker 1: it was quick. They didn't have time to react, you know.
- 25:43Speaker 1: He just grabbed them both, pulled them together, is what
- 25:45Speaker 1: I'm visualizing. He then leaned in and angrily said, and
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm going to quote what I found. Let me tell
- 25:54Speaker 1: you something. It's time for you to give and then
- 25:59Speaker 1: they stopped him and said, are you about to say
- 26:03Speaker 1: give up?
- 26:05Speaker 2: Really? Are you kidding me? Right now? Okay?
- 26:09Speaker 1: He then said, let me rephrase that it's time to
- 26:13Speaker 1: come to the realization his case may never be solved.
- 26:18Speaker 1: He kept his hold on them firm, and they said
- 26:21Speaker 1: it was uncomfortable and unsettling. Guys, that is a form
- 26:25Speaker 1: of intimidation in my opinion. I mean, please tell me
- 26:31Speaker 1: that I'm dreaming, because why would anyone say this to
- 26:35Speaker 1: a family member. And you're in a political arena, you're
- 26:41Speaker 1: the mayor.
- 26:43Speaker 2: What the hell?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Because I have to tell you they are better than me,
- 26:51Speaker 1: because I would have gotten arrested because I would have
- 26:53Speaker 1: slapped him across the face. Okay, let me be honest.
- 26:57Speaker 1: It would have just been a gut reaction and I
- 27:00Speaker 1: would have regretted it later, I'm sure. But you don't
- 27:05Speaker 1: say that to somebody, Okay, you don't. And just like
- 27:11Speaker 1: someone said about Chase's case, and they made a comment,
- 27:16Speaker 1: they were like, you know, maybe they just need to
- 27:20Speaker 1: realize they're not going to know the answer and move on.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And I'm here to tell you I'm not related to Chase,
- 27:25Speaker 1: but I feel like I know him very well because
- 27:27Speaker 1: of his family, and I go to bed wondering where
- 27:31Speaker 1: he is. And now that I've started covering other missing
- 27:34Speaker 1: persons cases, I go to bed wondering. Now their family
- 27:39Speaker 1: gets up and goes forward each day. Now do you
- 27:44Speaker 1: take this thing that has happened in your life, missing
- 27:48Speaker 1: a child, I left one, a spouse, a sister or brother.
- 27:52Speaker 1: How do you take it and set it aside and
- 27:54Speaker 1: still try to go on with life and someone look
- 27:59Speaker 1: you in the eye and tell you that maybe you
- 28:01Speaker 1: should just give up and move on because you don't stop. Okay,
- 28:10Speaker 1: there is no closure, you don't know. So that kind
- 28:15Speaker 1: of pushed me over the edge, guys, because I cannot
- 28:19Speaker 1: imagine having my baby kidnapped, me spending the rest of
- 28:24Speaker 1: my time on Earth looking and wondering is he okay?
- 28:30Speaker 1: Did maybe somebody take him who wanted a child and
- 28:34Speaker 1: is living a good life? You know? Research in this
- 28:37Speaker 1: case made me think of Zephanie, who I interviewed and
- 28:41Speaker 1: covered way early on in the podcast, who was kidnapped
- 28:45Speaker 1: as an infant and was found by the family when
- 28:49Speaker 1: she was a teen. I can't help but hope that
- 28:54Speaker 1: somebody took Christopher because they wanted a child, and that
- 28:57Speaker 1: he has a good life. I know I probably live
- 29:04Speaker 1: in I don't call it a fantasy world, but I
- 29:06Speaker 1: call it hope because without hope, I would be a
- 29:09Speaker 1: basket case in everyday life.
- 29:12Speaker 2: So I can't imagine if I.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Would survive that, And I pray that my family and
- 29:20Speaker 1: friends would help keep me going, because if something like
- 29:23Speaker 1: that happened to me, I don't know if I could.
- 29:26Speaker 1: And I think that the fact that his siblings are
- 29:29Speaker 1: still carrying on the search is awesome. They are keeping
- 29:35Speaker 1: his story alive, and it shows me families do not
- 29:40Speaker 1: just move on and forget their loved ones. Okay, they
- 29:44Speaker 1: don't have closure. They don't get to say goodbye, You're
- 29:50Speaker 1: in heaven and bury them. They have to wonder do
- 29:54Speaker 1: they have food, do they have shelter? Is somebody holding them?
- 29:59Speaker 1: Are they All of these horrific things that I know
- 30:03Speaker 1: go through my mind, I imagine goes through theirs, and
- 30:09Speaker 1: I think there's a hole that lives in their heart
- 30:12Speaker 1: until they get answers. And they deserve those answers. Every
- 30:17Speaker 1: family of someone missing deserves to get those answers before
- 30:21Speaker 1: they leave this earth. And like I said, I've decided
- 30:24Speaker 1: I'm going to choose hope and hope that Christopher was
- 30:27Speaker 1: taken by someone who wanted a baby, and that he's
- 30:30Speaker 1: being raised in a loving family, and that genetic testing
- 30:34Speaker 1: will one day bring him back to his family.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Now I'm not going to.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Get into all of this because I found so many
- 30:43Speaker 1: confusing things about about it. But Emma Bradshaw Steed one
- 30:49Speaker 1: of the family members, saying that by putting her name
- 30:53Speaker 1: out there that they readed her life, she lost her job, YadA, YadA, YadA,
- 31:02Speaker 1: asked for a lot of bunny.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I couldn't.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I've found one article that said, yes, she got one
- 31:08Speaker 1: case or one piece of the case proven. Everything else
- 31:13Speaker 1: was dismissed. The rumors and stuff I found on Reddit
- 31:16Speaker 1: said that the sister meld a letter to her job
- 31:20Speaker 1: and told him about her Can't do that. You'll get
- 31:23Speaker 1: in trouble for that. But she was a person of interest,
- 31:28Speaker 1: and my understanding is didn't overly cooperate with the police either.
- 31:33Speaker 1: So you can follow Chris's story on his Facebook page.
- 31:38Speaker 1: His Facebook page is a Christopher he Beta and they
- 31:43Speaker 1: have a time progressed photo on there. I'm also going
- 31:47Speaker 1: to ask you to share his missing person fire that
- 31:51Speaker 1: is also on True Crime and Wine Time's page and
- 31:55Speaker 1: on my Terry True Crime page. Now, if you have
- 31:58Speaker 1: any information regarding the s appearance of Christopher, please contact
- 32:02Speaker 1: the Colorado Springs Police Department at seven point nine four
- 32:06Speaker 1: four four seven thousand, because guys, every tip, I mean,
- 32:11Speaker 1: no matter how small it is, could be the key
- 32:14Speaker 1: to solving this case in any other missing person case.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I will also say, since we know the Colorado Springs
- 32:22Speaker 1: Police Department has destroyed evidence, make sure you write down
- 32:25Speaker 1: the time and date when you call in your tips,
- 32:28Speaker 1: so that when they say they didn't get any tips,
- 32:31Speaker 1: you have proof that you did. Now, I wanted to
- 32:35Speaker 1: end today telling you about some of the amazing people
- 32:39Speaker 1: I met at the True Crime Podcast Festival with JT
- 32:42Speaker 1: and Denver. There were so many wonderful people there and
- 32:46Speaker 1: they truly made my cup run a boat over. I mean,
- 32:51Speaker 1: meeting family members who are there to share their journey
- 32:55Speaker 1: was awesome, but they were also there to offer their
- 32:57Speaker 1: support to other families, which to me, it was just magical.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I can't think of another word for it.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I will forever be grateful to all of the families
- 33:11Speaker 1: and advocates who took time out to talk with me
- 33:13Speaker 1: and share their stories, and all of those that were
- 33:17Speaker 1: interested in hearing about our special investigation into the disappearance
- 33:22Speaker 1: of Chase Lackey.
- 33:24Speaker 2: They've offered support.
- 33:26Speaker 1: I have so many phone calls and stack of things
- 33:29Speaker 1: to follow up on with people from there, and I
- 33:34Speaker 1: met so many family members with missing person cases that
- 33:39Speaker 1: I will be covering some more of them that I
- 33:41Speaker 1: heard about at the podcast festival, And what I want
- 33:44Speaker 1: to say to those family members that I met, keep
- 33:49Speaker 1: doing what you're doing, because I get how you can't
- 33:53Speaker 1: just move on. I do not personally know or have
- 33:58Speaker 1: a family member of someone that I intimately no missing.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I do feel like I know Chase in so many
- 34:04Speaker 1: ways after working on his investigation a year and a
- 34:07Speaker 1: half that if I.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Cry about it and I go to sleep missing.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Him, what must it be like for his family members
- 34:16Speaker 1: and loved ones who knew him?
- 34:18Speaker 2: Okay?
- 34:19Speaker 1: And that makes me think about all of the other families.
- 34:21Speaker 1: So guys, keep doing what you're doing. And if anyone
- 34:26Speaker 1: has a missing person case that they want us to cover,
- 34:29Speaker 1: you can email us at our podcast email truecrimeanwind Time
- 34:33Speaker 1: at gmail dot com, or you can go to our
- 34:35Speaker 1: website and there is a contact form you can do
- 34:38Speaker 1: information there, or you can send us dms on any
- 34:42Speaker 1: of our social media platforms. So we would be happy
- 34:47Speaker 1: to share your stories. And I wish I had the
- 34:51Speaker 1: time to investigate and help every family find their individuals.
- 34:55Speaker 1: One day, maybe I'll have that ability, but until then,
- 35:00Speaker 1: we can all advocate for these families by sharing the
- 35:04Speaker 1: missing poster and the information. I also put on our
- 35:08Speaker 1: True Crime and Mind Time page an article about how
- 35:12Speaker 1: to know when the missing person post you're seeing is
- 35:16Speaker 1: a scam. There are people, most of them in other countries,
- 35:21Speaker 1: that are taking pictures and making scam flyers for missing
- 35:27Speaker 1: person cases, and when you share it, they have hackers
- 35:30Speaker 1: hacking into your account trying to get your information. So
- 35:34Speaker 1: I will tell you before we share anything on True
- 35:36Speaker 1: Crime and Mind Time, we go out and verify that
- 35:40Speaker 1: it is an active case, the person is missing, and
- 35:44Speaker 1: that the phone number is correct for where to call
- 35:47Speaker 1: in tips. I know everybody doesn't have time for that,
- 35:50Speaker 1: so that's why I posted the article I found about
- 35:54Speaker 1: how to spot spam postings, because let me tell you,
- 35:59Speaker 1: that's shitty to do. Okay people, And if you're one
- 36:03Speaker 1: of those people who's doing that spam and wanting to
- 36:05Speaker 1: hack and do all of this stuff, shame on you.
- 36:08Speaker 1: And Karma's a bitch. Karma does good things, Karma does
- 36:11Speaker 1: bad things, so your karma is coming, so just stop
- 36:16Speaker 1: doing it.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Why you have a chance.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Okay, now, I want to thank you all for joining
- 36:20Speaker 1: me today. I look forward to seeing you all again
- 36:23Speaker 1: on Wednesday for our next episode of Midday Missing Don't Forget.
- 36:28Speaker 1: This week, there will be no other productions on our
- 36:31Speaker 1: YouTube channel except for Midday Missing Monday and Wednesday at lunch,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and then Thursday night, JT and I will be here
- 36:38Speaker 1: with true crime and wine Time. We are covering financial
- 36:41Speaker 1: crimes and I picked a doozy of a case that
- 36:46Speaker 1: has ties to text this of course, and we're not
- 36:49Speaker 1: going to get into the political side of it, but
- 36:51Speaker 1: we are going to get into the financial crimes and
- 36:55Speaker 1: we are going to be not we I am going
- 36:58Speaker 1: to be enjoying this wonderful bottle of rose a from
- 37:04Speaker 1: Jay and M Cellars in Napa Valley. I want to
- 37:08Speaker 1: tell you all until next week I shouldn't say next
- 37:11Speaker 1: week Wednesdays this week that watch out for crime, be safe,
- 37:18Speaker 1: enjoy your wine time, and I'll see you on Wednesday.
