- 1:08Speaker 5: of God at work in a man.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Translating the faith.
- 1:12Speaker 5: Life to a context that serves Jesus to a generation
- 1:16Speaker 5: in a way that he will be received.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Let's honor him one more time. Thank you.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Incredible creativity. Audacious projects.

- 1:29Speaker 5: I just feel stirred while we're standing and forgive me.
- 1:32Speaker 5: I hope that I do not break any protocol.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I will honor everyone shortly, but I want us to
- 1:37Speaker 2: sow a seed of prayer to this project. Is that
- 1:40Speaker 2: all right? Can we do that as a people?
- 1:43Speaker 5: Lift your voice wherever you are and speak over this
- 1:48Speaker 5: economic project, the Commonwealth, incredible creativity.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Go ahead and pray. Pray for Reverend Julian and his team,
- 1:57Speaker 2: the entire economic team.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Pray for the partners that help to fund, the partners
- 2:04Speaker 5: that help to advise.
- 2:06Speaker 2: A believer is praying. Can you pray?
- 2:09Speaker 5: This is redeeming the destiny, the future of not only
- 2:14Speaker 5: this nation, but this continent.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Someone please pray. Let it be from the depth of
- 2:19Speaker 2: your heart.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Thank you, Father, for giving us a gift, a true
- 2:24Speaker 5: apostle in the marketplace. Thank you because he's not frustrated
- 2:31Speaker 5: the grace of God upon his life. Thank you for
- 2:34Speaker 5: the spirit of creativity, the wisdom of the just at
- 2:39Speaker 5: work in his life. Go ahead and declare over that
- 2:44Speaker 5: project that it will spread like wildfire, that the young
- 2:48Speaker 5: people in Kenya will have affordable housing, excellent education.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Business and commerce. Come on, someone is praying. Sow that
- 2:58Speaker 2: seed of prayer.
- 3:01Speaker 5: It is a definition of an apostolic mentality.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Pray that God will.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Replicate that grace across the length and the breadth of Kenya.
- 3:17Speaker 5: That many young people will rise up. kingdom cultured young
- 3:22Speaker 5: men and women they will rise and begin to spearhead
- 3:26Speaker 5: innovation across the tech world across education across agriculture it's
- 3:34Speaker 5: time for the kingdoms of this world to become the kingdoms.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Of our god and of his christ one more.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Minute you are praying make that prayer investment pray over
- 3:44Speaker 5: his health Pray Elihu said there is a spirit in
- 3:49Speaker 5: man and that the inspiration of the Almighty maketh man
- 3:54Speaker 5: of understanding.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Maketh man of understanding.
- 3:58Speaker 5: It was said about Daniel in Babylon that an excellent
- 4:02Speaker 5: spirit was found in him. Declare that none of these
- 4:08Speaker 5: projects will die. The vision will not die. It says
- 4:12Speaker 5: the Lord gave the word. Then it says great was
- 4:16Speaker 5: the company of them that published it. We raise prophetic
- 4:21Speaker 5: ambassadors across the length and the breadth of Kenya.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Across East Africa. Across Sub-Saharan Africa.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Who will spearhead this campaign in the.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ.
- 4:40Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus Christ.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Father we ask in the name of Jesus that you
- 4:46Speaker 5: will empower your man servant. We pray that wisdom is
- 4:51Speaker 5: multiplied upon him as touching this vision.
- 4:54Speaker 2: We declare that it will not die. In the name
- 4:57Speaker 2: of Jesus Christ.
- 4:59Speaker 5: We declare that many other visions of this sort will
- 5:02Speaker 5: rise even from this conference.
- 5:04Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus Christ.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Shout a believing amen and please you may be seated.
- 5:12Speaker 5: Reverend Julian, thank you so much. It's an honor to
- 5:15Speaker 5: be here. I want to appreciate your spiritual father.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Our father, a father to us all, Baba. Thank you
- 5:20Speaker 2: so much.
- 5:21Speaker 5: And his dear wife, let's give them a big, big
- 5:23Speaker 5: God bless you.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Amen.
- 5:27Speaker 5: And I want to honor all the men and the
- 5:30Speaker 5: women of God here present. My apologies. May not be
- 5:32Speaker 5: able to call you by name. But I deeply honor
- 5:35Speaker 5: you from the depth.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Of my heart.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Thank you so much, the apostle from Switzerland. We met
- 5:40Speaker 5: briefly whilst coming. The Lord honor you, sir, in the
- 5:43Speaker 5: name of Jesus Christ.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Rima Fist for me has become an apostolic convergence of
- 5:52Speaker 5: like-minded believers.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It's beyond just a conference. It's become... an apostolic convergence.
- 6:00Speaker 5: And I like the way that it is not just
- 6:03Speaker 5: limited to bringing spiritual information, but it's translating the wisdom
- 6:10Speaker 5: that is captured in scripture to a context that makes
- 6:13Speaker 5: the church relevant to society. I've always been concerned about
- 6:18Speaker 5: the applicability of the spiritual truths that we have and
- 6:22Speaker 5: we know that Kingdom truth must be translated to a
- 6:26Speaker 5: context that is able to heal, to build, to deliver,
- 6:30Speaker 5: to raise.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And to establish.
- 6:34Speaker 5: If the truths that we know cannot translate to a
- 6:37Speaker 5: better society, a healthier society, a more empowered society, then
- 6:43Speaker 5: there is no reason why the gospel should be advanced.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Are we together now? The Bible says, I am come,
- 6:50Speaker 2: John chapter 10 and 11.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Verse 10, I am come that ye may have life
- 6:56Speaker 5: and that you have it more abundantly.
- 6:59Speaker 2: More abundantly.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Amplified says to its fullest. And so we really honor
- 7:06Speaker 5: great projects like this. And I like the fact that
- 7:09Speaker 5: it is being presented here at conferences like this. That
- 7:12Speaker 5: it's not some business conference somewhere because this is the
- 7:16Speaker 5: business of kingdoms. hallelujah and it is everyone's concern this
- 7:21Speaker 5: is the right atmosphere to sell this kind of idea
- 7:26Speaker 5: by now you know that the goal is beyond profit
- 7:29Speaker 5: there are better cheaper and wiser ways to make profit
- 7:33Speaker 5: this is a passion like he said there is a
- 7:35Speaker 5: cause a cause bigger than just an individual's profit and
- 7:40Speaker 5: we salute you for your sacrifice for this nation and
- 7:44Speaker 5: the body of christ one more time let's honor reverend julian.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Thank you so much Amen.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Right, so I'll go straight to my teaching. I hoped
- 7:53Speaker 5: that my session would be a prayer meeting.
- 7:57Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus Christ. We're still going to pray, but.
- 8:03Speaker 5: The Lord placed a few thoughts in my heart as
- 8:05Speaker 5: touching the theme for the meeting.
- 8:07Speaker 2: When I got word about the theme, I.
- 8:13Speaker 5: It touched me very much because the unity of faith
- 8:15Speaker 5: and the unity of the body has been.
- 8:18Speaker 2: One of my assignments and it's a passion for me.
- 8:21Speaker 5: I have studied a number of factors across this topic
- 8:25Speaker 5: and I decided to pick a few things to discuss
- 8:29Speaker 5: as we pray for my session.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So let me plead that you lend me your attention.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Hopefully it will be a brief session this morning or
- 8:38Speaker 5: afternoon and then We leave and get ready for the
- 8:42Speaker 5: evening session. Are you ready tonight? In one moment I'd
- 8:45Speaker 5: like you to cry for the spirit of understanding.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Go ahead and pray.
- 8:49Speaker 5: The spirit of understanding. Isaiah 11. The spirit of understanding.
- 8:57Speaker 5: The spirit of understanding. The Bible says in all your getting,
- 9:01Speaker 5: get understanding.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Someone is praying. Let it be from the depth of
- 9:06Speaker 2: your heart.
- 9:07Speaker 5: My heart is open, ready to be enlightened in the
- 9:12Speaker 5: name of Jesus Christ.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Amen.
- 9:15Speaker 3: I'll start this morning or afternoon by reiterating the fact
- 9:23Speaker 3: that you're excelling as a believer in this kingdom today.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Is dependent on the quality of light that you have
- 9:33Speaker 5: access to. Please listen very carefully. Your excelling in this
- 9:37Speaker 5: kingdom depends primarily on the kind and the quality of light.
- 9:44Speaker 5: Light meaning spiritual illumination that you have access to. In
- 9:49Speaker 5: John chapter 1 and verse 5, the Bible says, and
- 9:52Speaker 5: the light shined in the darkness. he says and the
- 9:55Speaker 5: darkness comprehended it not in fact the bible puts it
- 10:00Speaker 5: this way in genesis chapter 1 he says that god
- 10:03Speaker 5: called the light day and the darkness he called night
- 10:08Speaker 5: god called the light day you may have heard me
- 10:12Speaker 5: say this that in god's economy day is not when
- 10:16Speaker 5: the sun rises is when light comes So you can
- 10:21Speaker 5: be in the afternoon and still be in the night
- 10:24Speaker 5: time in darkness because of the bankruptcy of light. He
- 10:30Speaker 5: called the light day and the darkness he called night.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Remaphis therefore is beyond just a convergence to eat, to drink,
- 10:41Speaker 5: to relate.
- 10:42Speaker 2: It is primarily a feast of light. Hallelujah.
- 10:48Speaker 5: Believer is access body of spiritual truth that puts you
- 10:55Speaker 5: to a point of dominion in experience the real inheritance
- 10:59Speaker 5: of the believer is light the bible calls it marvelous
- 11:03Speaker 5: light hallelujah are we learning now and so we're going
- 11:08Speaker 5: to be discussing very quickly one of the cancer's And
- 11:14Speaker 5: the body of Christ that has crippled our emerging, has
- 11:18Speaker 5: crippled our becoming, has crippled our efficiency. And I believe
- 11:24Speaker 5: that is one of the things that God intends to
- 11:27Speaker 5: help to resolve even at RimaFace 2024. I'm teaching very
- 11:33Speaker 5: quickly on the spirit of envy. The spirit of envy.
- 11:40Speaker 5: And I want you to please pay attention. God is
- 11:43Speaker 5: bringing deliverance to the body of Christ. This is a
- 11:46Speaker 5: message for the church in Kenya, the church in Africa,
- 11:50Speaker 5: the church world over.
- 11:52Speaker 2: The spirit of envy. James chapter 4, please.
- 11:58Speaker 5: We'll read from verse 1 to 3.
- 12:02Speaker 2: James chapter 4. Am I doing something wrong? Help me. Alright,
- 12:11Speaker 2: James chapter 4, 1 to 3.
- 12:15Speaker 5: The Bible says, from whence cometh wars and fighting among you.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 12:25Speaker 5: From whence cometh wars and fighting among you. James is
- 12:31Speaker 5: dealing with a very serious issue here. Perhaps someone needs
- 12:36Speaker 5: to help address this.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Can you help me on that? He's dealing with conflicts.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Are we together now?
- 12:45Speaker 5: He's dealing with misunderstandings and all sorts of confusion within
- 12:51Speaker 5: the organized body of believers. And he's saying, from whence
- 12:55Speaker 5: come wars and fighting among you? He says, come they
- 13:00Speaker 5: not hence, even of your lusts that were in your members.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Reading to verse 3. It says, ye lust and have not.
- 13:10Speaker 5: Ye kill and desire to have and cannot obtain. Ye
- 13:15Speaker 5: fight and war yet ye have not. And he says
- 13:20Speaker 5: because you have not. Verse 3. He says ye ask
- 13:25Speaker 5: and receive not because you ask amiss that you may
- 13:29Speaker 5: consume it upon your lusts. James chapter 3 from verse 16.
- 13:36Speaker 5: Two verses and then I'll begin to teach. James chapter
- 13:39Speaker 5: 3 and verse 16.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I wish we could read it in concert. Are you ready?
- 13:44Speaker 2: As many who can see, let's read together. One, two, go.
- 13:47Speaker 2: For where envying and strife is.
- 13:51Speaker 5: There is confusion and every evil work.
- 13:56Speaker 2: May the Lord bless His word in Jesus' name. The
- 14:00Speaker 2: Bible tells us from.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Galatians chapter 5, 19 to 21, that envy is one
- 14:06Speaker 5: of the works of the flesh. Paul, in dealing with
- 14:11Speaker 5: the works of the flesh versus the works of the spirit,
- 14:14Speaker 5: he lists envy, particularly when you go to verse 21
- 14:19Speaker 5: of Galatians 5, he talks about envy as one of
- 14:24Speaker 5: the manifestations of the works of the flesh. And Apostle
- 14:29Speaker 5: James now began to buttress on that fact by telling
- 14:33Speaker 5: us that There is an explanation as to disunity. There
- 14:38Speaker 5: is an explanation as to envy. There is an explanation
- 14:43Speaker 5: as to hatred. Alongside all of the confusions and the chaos,
- 14:47Speaker 5: the anarchy that have trailed the body of Christ through
- 14:51Speaker 5: the years and perhaps through the centuries. He's saying that
- 14:55Speaker 5: when there is envy, it produces all kinds of confusion, fear.
- 15:00Speaker 2: All kinds of divisions, all kinds of problems. Let's define envy.
- 15:06Speaker 5: I define envy here very quickly as a strong feeling.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Listen and then write. A strong feeling of resentment, anger, bitterness.
- 15:19Speaker 5: Or hatred that is rooted in the desire to have
- 15:25Speaker 5: the quality of The resources, the status, or the result
- 15:31Speaker 5: belonging to or being experienced by someone.
- 15:35Speaker 2: It's a long read. You listen. I will tell you
- 15:36Speaker 2: the one to write. This is for your ears now.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I'll take you one more time.
- 15:40Speaker 5: That envy is a strong feeling of resentment, anger, bitterness,
- 15:48Speaker 5: or hatred.
- 15:50Speaker 2: And that all of.
- 15:51Speaker 5: That is a desire to have. The quality, the resources,
- 16:00Speaker 5: the status or the results that belong to or have
- 16:05Speaker 5: been experienced by someone.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Other than you. Is God helping someone? Now for your writing.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Envy is an emotion which occurs when a person lacks
- 16:19Speaker 5: another's quality, skill, achievement or possession. that occurs when you
- 16:30Speaker 5: are aware of the fact that you lack another person's quality,
- 16:36Speaker 5: another person's skill, another person's.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Achievement or possession.
- 16:42Speaker 5: In fact, envy goes further to planting you a desire
- 16:48Speaker 5: to only find fulfillment when the other person loses those opportunities.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Listen carefully. There's a surgery coming now.
- 16:59Speaker 5: So a strong feeling of resentment, strong feeling of anger,
- 17:04Speaker 5: bitterness or hatred.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Are we together so far? And we said that these negative.
- 17:10Speaker 5: Emotions are rooted in the desire to have a quality, resources,
- 17:20Speaker 5: status or results that belong to or are currently being
- 17:25Speaker 5: experienced by someone other than you. Isn't it amazing that
- 17:33Speaker 5: you would think because God is in the midst of
- 17:35Speaker 5: his people, they would not experience these kinds of things.
- 17:39Speaker 5: But this is a cancer that has destroyed people, a
- 17:43Speaker 5: cancer that is destroying so many. And it's a major factor.
- 17:49Speaker 5: It's impeded the unity of the church. It's impeded consistency
- 17:55Speaker 5: in friendships. It's destroyed relationships. Valuable destiny relationships. So you
- 18:02Speaker 5: listen to this as a word of healing. God is
- 18:04Speaker 5: bringing healing for some. God is bringing explanation for others.
- 18:09Speaker 5: He's bringing deliverance for us all. You believe that? Shout
- 18:12Speaker 5: it loud.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Amen. Envy is a natural human response. Listen carefully.
- 18:21Speaker 5: A natural human response in the presence of God. Of
- 18:25Speaker 5: consistent results and achievement of others. It is a natural
- 18:30Speaker 5: human response. That means that if you stand in the
- 18:34Speaker 5: presence of an individual. Producing consistent results. Without you enjoying
- 18:41Speaker 5: such a possibility. That it is a natural human response.
- 18:46Speaker 5: This is where you need the Holy Spirit. This is
- 18:49Speaker 5: where you need to be spiritual. Are we together now?
- 18:52Speaker 5: It is a natural human response. I'm reminded very quickly
- 18:57Speaker 5: and I want to use this to give us three examples.
- 18:59Speaker 5: There are many examples of envy in the Bible. But
- 19:03Speaker 5: do you know, Genesis chapter 4, please for reference. The
- 19:06Speaker 5: first recorded case of death in the Bible did not
- 19:11Speaker 5: come as a result of a demonic attack. It came
- 19:15Speaker 5: as a result of this cancer called envy. The first
- 19:20Speaker 5: recorded case of death in the Bible. Genesis chapter 4.
- 19:24Speaker 5: For sake of time, let's begin from verse 5. The
- 19:27Speaker 5: Bible tells us that God had respect for the offering
- 19:33Speaker 5: of Cain. In fact, back up to verse 2. Very
- 19:38Speaker 5: important information there. The Bible says Abel was a keeper
- 19:42Speaker 5: of sheep. But Cain was a tiller of the ground.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Do you see that immediately they were different? And that
- 19:50Speaker 5: difference was supposed to be an advantage. Because we learn
- 19:54Speaker 5: from agriculture. Basic agriculture. That it is the cultivation of crops.
- 19:58Speaker 5: The rearing of animals. And they were supposed to bring
- 20:01Speaker 5: completion to themselves. But we see here that something happened.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Verse 5. For sake of time.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Cain was very rough. This was the first description of envy.
- 20:14Speaker 5: And his countenance fell.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Verse 6.
- 20:17Speaker 5: The Bible says the Lord told him, Cain, I'm watching
- 20:20Speaker 5: from heaven. And I'm seeing envy growing within you. Why
- 20:23Speaker 5: is that so? It says, verse 7. If you are
- 20:27Speaker 5: done well, will you not be accepted? And if you
- 20:30Speaker 5: do not do well, sin lieth at your door. Verse 8,
- 20:34Speaker 5: for sake of time reading and we'll stop at 10.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Cain talked with Abel, his brother.
- 20:41Speaker 5: And it came to pass that they were in the
- 20:43Speaker 5: field that Cain rose up against his brother and slew him.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Envy never stops till destruction occurs.
- 20:53Speaker 5: It starts with a desire but it goes further to
- 20:56Speaker 5: act out that desire until you cause pain, until you
- 21:00Speaker 5: cause destruction to another person.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Are you learning now?
- 21:03Speaker 5: Verse 10, and he said, what has thou done? Okay, well,
- 21:09Speaker 5: God called unto him, Cain, where is your brother? And
- 21:12Speaker 5: he said, am I my brother's keeper? And then verse 10,
- 21:16Speaker 5: he says, the voice of thy brother's blood cried from
- 21:19Speaker 5: me unto the ground, and you know the story. So
- 21:22Speaker 5: the first recorded instance of death as captured in scripture
- 21:26Speaker 5: is Came on account of this cancer called envy.
- 21:30Speaker 2: One more example. Genesis chapter 37 please. And we'll begin
- 21:34Speaker 2: our reading from verse 3.
- 21:36Speaker 5: The Bible speaks about the man Joseph.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Joseph. Joseph. Interesting story.
- 21:44Speaker 5: And Israel, Jacob now, loved Joseph more than all his children.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Because he was the son of his old age.
- 21:52Speaker 5: And the Bible says, the father gave him a coat
- 21:56Speaker 5: of many colors. I preached a message one time relating
- 22:03Speaker 5: to this. Beware when you wear a coat of many colors.
- 22:11Speaker 5: When you are that gifted as to have various dimensions
- 22:16Speaker 5: of the investment of the Spirit upon your life, even
- 22:19Speaker 5: your brothers can kill you. A coat was given to
- 22:24Speaker 5: him by the Father and that was the reason for
- 22:27Speaker 5: his envy.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Verse 4. The Bible says.
- 22:32Speaker 5: When his brethren saw that the father loved him more
- 22:36Speaker 5: than all his brethren, they hated him and could not
- 22:40Speaker 5: speak peaceably unto him. In the presence of envy, reconciliation
- 22:45Speaker 5: is impossible. Regardless what you come with, what angle you
- 22:50Speaker 5: present the facts, the Bible says they could not speak
- 22:53Speaker 5: peaceably unto him. Verse 5. And Joseph dreamed a dream
- 22:58Speaker 5: to make matters worse. Notice the reason for the hatred. One,
- 23:03Speaker 5: the love of the father. Then number two, a dream.
- 23:10Speaker 5: And he told his brethren.
- 23:12Speaker 2: And then the Bible says they hated him yet the more. Six.
- 23:18Speaker 2: He said unto them, this is the dream that I've had.
- 23:21Speaker 5: And when you read down to 11 for sake of time,
- 23:24Speaker 5: the Bible says they hated him because of his dream.
- 23:28Speaker 5: They hated him because of his dream. They hated him
- 23:33Speaker 5: because of his dream. Write for reference, 1 Samuel chapter
- 23:37Speaker 5: 18 from verse 6 to 9. You read there about
- 23:41Speaker 5: David and Saul. I'm showing you instances, examples of envy
- 23:46Speaker 5: in the Bible. Isn't it amazing that the character of envy,
- 23:51Speaker 5: like you'll be learning, is such that sometimes, no matter
- 23:55Speaker 5: how great you are, envy does not seek to share success.
- 24:00Speaker 2: It wants that you succeed alone.
- 24:03Speaker 5: There was no reason why King Saul should be envious
- 24:07Speaker 5: of David, his king. And yet the Bible says that
- 24:12Speaker 5: Saul literally wanted to kill David.
- 24:14Speaker 2: David had to run for his life.
- 24:18Speaker 5: You find that in Genesis 18, 6 to 9.
- 24:21Speaker 2: What is the goal of envy? I hope we are
- 24:23Speaker 2: learning now. What is the goal of envy? The goal
- 24:27Speaker 2: of envy, listen carefully, is to fight.
- 24:31Speaker 5: The frustration and discomfort that is experienced in the presence
- 24:37Speaker 5: of another person's achievement.
- 24:40Speaker 2: To fight the frustration.
- 24:44Speaker 5: And the discomfort that is experienced in the presence of
- 24:49Speaker 5: another person's achievement. As a way of healing from the
- 24:56Speaker 5: feeling of inferiority. Envy is a way of healing. The
- 25:04Speaker 5: goal of envy is to fight the frustration and discomfort
- 25:09Speaker 5: that is experienced in the presence of another person's achievement
- 25:14Speaker 5: as a way of healing from the feeling of inferiority
- 25:19Speaker 5: that it brings.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Can you imagine that?
- 25:22Speaker 5: That when you find yourself in envy, it is a
- 25:27Speaker 5: way of trying to manage the frustration that Are we together?
- 25:32Speaker 5: To manage the discomfort that is experienced in the presence
- 25:36Speaker 5: of another. So an example. Please let me have two people.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Two gentlemen preferably.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Two gentlemen.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Come.
- 25:47Speaker 2: One stand here. Thank you.
- 25:48Speaker 5: By my left. The others please stand by my right.
- 25:50Speaker 5: All of you watch this. So let's call this one
- 25:56Speaker 5: brother A. Let's call this one brother B.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 25:59Speaker 5: Now all of you please give this gentleman a round
- 26:02Speaker 5: of applause.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Make sure your attention is on him. Keep clapping. You
- 26:09Speaker 2: can stand if you want to. But keep clapping. Hold on.
- 26:16Speaker 5: Now look up please. In this example, what do you
- 26:20Speaker 5: think happens to this man? Because that applaud is happening
- 26:25Speaker 5: in his presence and it does not seem to stop.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Now you are standing on it. Are we together now?
- 26:32Speaker 5: The natural response of this gentleman, except worked upon by
- 26:36Speaker 5: the Spirit of God, is that regardless the reason, this
- 26:41Speaker 5: man is going to be uncomfortable. This result is too consistent.
- 26:47Speaker 5: It's a different thing if you just tap your hand.
- 26:49Speaker 2: It's manageable.
- 26:50Speaker 5: But when it becomes consistent, it's too loud, it's too consistent,
- 26:55Speaker 5: there is a basis for contrast.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Envy begins to build. Try it one more time. Here
- 27:03Speaker 2: we go. A round of applause. You see that?
- 27:12Speaker 5: Now you do this on Sunday. Do it again on Monday.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Do it again on Tuesday. Do it again in January, February, March.
- 27:21Speaker 2: And I tell you.
- 27:22Speaker 5: Except God walks upon the heart of this. Even if
- 27:25Speaker 5: they are blood brothers. Eventually. This cancer will catch up
- 27:30Speaker 5: with this guy. It has nothing to do with being
- 27:33Speaker 5: good or bad. It's a human reality. That outside of
- 27:36Speaker 5: the help of God. Can plague all men.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Who is learning?
- 27:44Speaker 5: So, this gentleman now begins to get uncomfortable.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Why?
- 27:49Speaker 5: Because you see, results create a basis for contrast.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Results kill excuses.
- 27:59Speaker 5: When an individual begins to produce consistent results, it takes away.
- 28:05Speaker 5: The excuse factor. You cannot say it's because I'm in
- 28:09Speaker 5: Kenya again. You cannot say it's because I came from
- 28:13Speaker 5: a dysfunctional family again. In the presence of consistent results,
- 28:18Speaker 5: your own excuses die.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Is someone learning now? Thank you, gentlemen. Now you clap
- 28:26Speaker 2: for this one. Come on. Give him a real round
- 28:29Speaker 2: of applause. Are we together? Thank you, my friend. Alright,
- 28:34Speaker 2: so here you go. Blessings to you. Are we learning
- 28:39Speaker 2: so far?
- 28:41Speaker 5: So the goal of envy is to fight the frustration.
- 28:45Speaker 5: Do you know that whenever you find people communicating envy,
- 28:50Speaker 5: they are dealing with something within themselves.
- 28:53Speaker 2: There is a frustration. Are we together now?
- 28:56Speaker 5: There is a discomfort that happens to them in the
- 29:00Speaker 5: presence of consistent results from the life of others.
- 29:04Speaker 2: How do they fight this number one?
- 29:08Speaker 5: Most people fight envy by downplaying the achievements and the
- 29:14Speaker 5: perceptions that people have on others. So if this gentleman
- 29:19Speaker 5: is to fight this one, his first assignment will be
- 29:22Speaker 5: to downplay the achievement. To water down the achievement and
- 29:27Speaker 5: make it look like it's not worth clapping. Is this
- 29:30Speaker 5: why you are clapping? The moment you find yourself in
- 29:32Speaker 5: that position... You've been infected by this virus of envy.
- 29:36Speaker 5: The moment you find yourself downplaying, demeaning the achievements of
- 29:42Speaker 5: others or the perception that people have towards another person's results,
- 29:49Speaker 5: no matter how you argue with it, it is caused
- 29:51Speaker 5: by envy.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Are we together? Are we together?
- 29:57Speaker 5: So someone can look at this incredible presentation by Pastor
- 30:02Speaker 5: Julian and say, oh well, I think it can be better.
- 30:05Speaker 5: You see, once you, the moment you begin to hear
- 30:09Speaker 5: those things, I tell you, it is produced. You see,
- 30:12Speaker 5: envy can use anything, a lie or the truth. The
- 30:15Speaker 5: goal is not to sell you truth. The goal is
- 30:18Speaker 5: to use that to water you down. It's like a
- 30:21Speaker 5: system that tries to equalize. Hmm. Don't say tell them,
- 30:30Speaker 5: it's a surgery. God is working on everyone. Reverend Julian,
- 30:35Speaker 5: you invited me to Kenya again. I hope this is
- 30:38Speaker 5: a good start. Downplaying the achievements of others, the character
- 30:50Speaker 5: of envy. Downplaying the perception of That people have on
- 30:55Speaker 5: account of another person's result. So when someone says this
- 30:58Speaker 5: great man of God from Switzerland. He's doing a great work.
- 31:02Speaker 5: Oh have you been there? Do you know him? Once
- 31:05Speaker 5: you begin to hear those things. And attack on people's results.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Why clap? Beware of those who do not clap. When
- 31:12Speaker 5: God is lifting you. Beware of those who have a
- 31:15Speaker 5: problem clapping. When God is announcing you. Do you have
- 31:22Speaker 5: to honor the Father and the Lord?
- 31:25Speaker 2: What is wrong?
- 31:25Speaker 5: Does it affect you? You see, when people take your
- 31:29Speaker 5: success too personal, you see, they don't have to be
- 31:34Speaker 5: bad people. I hope I'm not describing you. But if
- 31:46Speaker 5: I am, welcome to Remafist.
- 31:50Speaker 4: You are the one that we praise. You are the
- 31:57Speaker 4: one we adore. You give the healing and.
- 32:03Speaker 5: Grace that our hearts always hunger for.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Oh, our hearts always hunger for. Please sit down. Let
- 32:17Speaker 2: me walk this for a few minutes.
- 32:20Speaker 5: So envy works by number one, attempting to downplay the
- 32:26Speaker 5: achievements of others. Attempting to downplay the perception that people
- 32:32Speaker 5: have over another person's results.
- 32:36Speaker 2: It is the character of envy. Number two, how does
- 32:39Speaker 2: envy operate?
- 32:41Speaker 5: By wishing for the fall or the destruction of the
- 32:46Speaker 5: person experiencing the results. So envy goes further to wish.
- 32:51Speaker 5: It becomes a secret desire. Can something happen to Reverend
- 32:56Speaker 5: Julian that just makes it look like he's not that exceptional?
- 33:00Speaker 2: Can something happen to this pastor? Can something happen to
- 33:05Speaker 2: this person? You see that now?
- 33:09Speaker 5: Do you know this was a situation with Jesus and
- 33:12Speaker 5: the scribes and the Pharisees? They so wanted him to die.
- 33:19Speaker 5: They wanted him to die to a point that they
- 33:22Speaker 5: were willing to release an umbrella. Let's honor our father.
- 33:26Speaker 5: I may not know him, but please give him the
- 33:27Speaker 5: honor that he deserves. May God bless you, sir.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 33:34Speaker 2: God bless you, sir. Thank you.
- 33:36Speaker 5: Now, please let me have your attention. What kind of
- 33:41Speaker 5: anger over Jesus... Makes a people want to release back
- 33:46Speaker 5: an armed robber. He's a version of what we would
- 33:48Speaker 5: call a terrorist. They were willing to make do with
- 33:52Speaker 5: Barabbas again.
- 33:53Speaker 2: They said just let Barabbas come down.
- 33:56Speaker 5: Let him continue to kill our children. But for God's
- 33:58Speaker 5: sake let this man die. Get him out of the way.
- 34:02Speaker 5: Don't chain him. Don't put him in prison.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Kill him. Envy for you. Envy so desires the downfall
- 34:10Speaker 2: of others as a therapy, as a way to heal.
- 34:16Speaker 5: When you hear that something happened, she just lost her child,
- 34:19Speaker 5: you almost want to hide the joy. You first feel
- 34:23Speaker 5: the joy, then you feel the pain. You listen to this.
- 34:31Speaker 5: I will tell you the reason.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Why the church does not seem to advance.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Because if we do not conquer envy, we will keep
- 34:40Speaker 5: killing the visions.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Of one another.
- 34:42Speaker 5: Using scriptural excuses. Killing the visions of one another.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Rejoicing.
- 34:48Speaker 5: Hugging in the open and then stabbing in the secret.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Are we together? We cannot attain unity as a people.
- 35:06Speaker 5: We cannot advance as a people if we do not
- 35:09Speaker 5: deal with envy. Now please look at me. For most people,
- 35:15Speaker 5: their journey towards receiving this cancer of envy starts from childhood.
- 35:20Speaker 5: It doesn't matter if you're a preacher. Let me do
- 35:23Speaker 5: psychology for two minutes.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Forgive me.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Most people do not know that there is a psychological
- 35:29Speaker 5: explanation to envy. Envy is easily around a life that
- 35:35Speaker 5: has suffered deprivation. When you have been deprived of opportunity,
- 35:42Speaker 5: when you have been deprived of things, access, it is.
- 35:46Speaker 2: The natural response.
- 35:47Speaker 5: You will hate any other person who is in that
- 35:51Speaker 5: vantage position outside of you. Can you believe that this
- 35:55Speaker 5: can happen between a husband and a wife?
- 35:58Speaker 2: You would think marriage will solve the problem. No, sir.
- 36:01Speaker 5: It can happen between siblings. It can happen between preachers.
- 36:07Speaker 5: Or do I say this is what is happening among
- 36:09Speaker 5: many people?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Are we together now?
- 36:13Speaker 5: So when you come from a background... Where you have
- 36:15Speaker 5: been deprived... Now just for your information.
- 36:18Speaker 2: I know that most of you will know this.
- 36:20Speaker 5: The highest psychological need of any man... Whether a pastor...
- 36:25Speaker 5: Whether a businessman... The highest psychological need of any man...
- 36:29Speaker 5: Listen carefully... Is the need to feel loved... The need
- 36:33Speaker 5: to feel valued... And the need to feel appreciated or celebrated.
- 36:38Speaker 2: You may want to write that down... That the highest
- 36:40Speaker 2: psychological need... Of every man. Including you. The highest psychological need.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Of every man. Any man at all. Is the need
- 36:52Speaker 2: to feel loved. Say loved. Come on shout it Kenya.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Say loved. Number two.
- 36:57Speaker 5: The need to feel valued. And then the need to
- 37:02Speaker 5: feel appreciated. Or celebrated. The need to feel loved. The
- 37:09Speaker 5: need to feel valued. The need to feel celebrated. The
- 37:14Speaker 5: highest psychological need of any man is not money. Why
- 37:20Speaker 5: do you want the money? As a means of achieving this.
- 37:25Speaker 5: Why do you rejoice because you bought a better metal
- 37:29Speaker 5: than another metal?
- 37:29Speaker 2: You call it a car.
- 37:31Speaker 5: Why do you rejoice over metals?
- 37:33Speaker 2: Do you love metals that much? No, sir. Now, I'm
- 37:36Speaker 2: not downplaying that.
- 37:39Speaker 5: Why do you rejoice over sand that you constructed more
- 37:43Speaker 5: beautiful than another?
- 37:45Speaker 2: Is it really the house? Is it really the material? No.
- 37:50Speaker 5: It is your pursuit to achieving this psychological need. The
- 37:55Speaker 5: need to feel loved. The need to feel valued. And
- 37:58Speaker 5: the need to feel appreciated.
- 38:00Speaker 2: And look at me. You become an enemy to anybody.
- 38:05Speaker 5: When you frustrate their achieving this psychological need.
- 38:09Speaker 2: You become an enemy to anyone at all.
- 38:12Speaker 5: If they learn whether by experience or by rumor or
- 38:15Speaker 5: by instinct. That you are standing in the way of
- 38:19Speaker 5: their feeling loved. Their feeling valued. Or their feeling appreciated.
- 38:24Speaker 5: You become their enemy immediately. This is true for pastors.
- 38:31Speaker 5: With members or pastors among pastors. This is true for
- 38:34Speaker 5: business people. Are we together now? The highest psychological need
- 38:38Speaker 5: of any man is the need to feel loved.
- 38:41Speaker 2: The need to feel valued. The need to feel appreciated.
- 38:44Speaker 5: Now most believers do not know that when you come
- 38:47Speaker 5: into Christ. The work of renewal does not happen instantaneously.
- 38:51Speaker 5: And so we think because we are born again automatically.
- 38:55Speaker 5: All of these fleshly tendencies happen. leave so you are
- 38:59Speaker 5: surprised that envy can cohabit with the anointing you can
- 39:04Speaker 5: be anointed you can be great you can be a
- 39:07Speaker 5: businessman you can be vibrant spiritually and yet find this
- 39:11Speaker 5: cancer still growing medical science has taught us that it's
- 39:16Speaker 5: possible for a baby to be growing and there's a
- 39:18Speaker 5: fibroid they're growing too and both of them will compete
- 39:21Speaker 5: to grow am i right on that That the old
- 39:25Speaker 5: man can be growing and the new man can be
- 39:27Speaker 5: growing there too. Paul did not hide his frustration. in
- 39:30Speaker 5: Romans chapter 8. He said the things that I desire
- 39:33Speaker 5: to do, I do not find myself doing them. Even
- 39:36Speaker 5: as an apostle, the things that I do not want
- 39:39Speaker 5: to do, I find myself doing them. He says, with
- 39:42Speaker 5: my spirit I serve the Lord, but in my flesh
- 39:44Speaker 5: I see another law working in my members.
- 39:47Speaker 2: He was so frustrated.
- 39:49Speaker 5: He said, O wretched man that I am, who shall
- 39:52Speaker 5: deliver me from this body of death?
- 39:55Speaker 2: Paul for you. Paul did not hide his frustrations.
- 39:58Speaker 5: He said, listen, although you consider me to be an apostle,
- 40:02Speaker 5: there is still a war that happens within my members.
- 40:10Speaker 5: And God is dealing with one of such. You will
- 40:13Speaker 5: be surprised that when you get rid of envy, you
- 40:18Speaker 5: will taste of true freedom. The bondage that envy brings,
- 40:23Speaker 5: I'm not sure many of its victims are aware of
- 40:26Speaker 5: the extent of bondage they're in, living in envy. And
- 40:30Speaker 5: I'm praying for someone already in the name of Jesus.
- 40:32Speaker 5: This spirit of envy, this cancer of envy that has
- 40:37Speaker 5: robbed preachers, has robbed businessmen of their prophetic destiny. In
- 40:43Speaker 5: this conference here at Rema Feast 2024, let it die permanently. Amen.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Shout it, believers. Amen.
- 40:49Speaker 4: Let it die permanently. In the name of Jesus Christ.
- 40:55Speaker 4: You give the healing.
- 40:57Speaker 2: And grace that our hearts always hunger for. Oh, our
- 41:07Speaker 2: hearts always hunger for. Listen and write.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Envy is not always about wanting to be the best.
- 41:19Speaker 5: It is most times wanting to be the only. Envy
- 41:25Speaker 5: is not always about wanting to be the best. It
- 41:28Speaker 5: is about wanting to be the only. One time the
- 41:34Speaker 5: disciples of Jesus, whilst he was mentoring them, they did
- 41:38Speaker 5: not even know that envy was growing in their own hearts.
- 41:43Speaker 5: They heard that the mother of James and John, remember
- 41:45Speaker 5: the story? That she came to negotiate a position for
- 41:49Speaker 5: them in advance. And she used that privilege as a
- 41:52Speaker 5: mother to say, Jesus... When you are done with Caesar,
- 41:56Speaker 5: when you are done with Herod, when you are done
- 41:57Speaker 5: with all of this, please grant my sons an opportunity
- 42:01Speaker 5: to sit at your left and your right. The Bible
- 42:03Speaker 5: says when the other disciples heard it, you could imagine
- 42:07Speaker 5: the anger in the camp. So you think we're here
- 42:10Speaker 5: for nothing? I can imagine Peter saying, you think I
- 42:12Speaker 5: left fishing for nothing? I wasn't doing bad after all.
- 42:16Speaker 5: They all had their various agenda. They hid it and
- 42:20Speaker 5: kept quiet. You see, envy can be quiet for many years.
- 42:23Speaker 5: You will think you are free till someone comes with
- 42:26Speaker 5: a result that is notable, that is consistent, and there
- 42:30Speaker 5: it comes again.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Are we learning?
- 42:40Speaker 5: Envy is not always about wanting to be the best.
- 42:44Speaker 5: It is many times about wanting to be the only.
- 42:47Speaker 5: And with all due respect, this is not a pastor's conference,
- 42:50Speaker 5: but let me charge co-laborers in the gospel. This is
- 42:53Speaker 5: one area that every preacher must fight in righteousness. It
- 42:58Speaker 5: will not go by default, no matter how anointed you are.
- 43:02Speaker 5: You have to become comfortable knowing that you are not
- 43:05Speaker 5: the only one God called.
- 43:15Speaker 2: I'm going to say it again.
- 43:17Speaker 5: You have to become comfortable knowing that you are not
- 43:21Speaker 5: the only one God called. I know your call was
- 43:24Speaker 5: so spectacular. But it was not only you he called.
- 43:37Speaker 5: The spirit of envy never finds comfort even if the
- 43:41Speaker 5: whole body is doing well. It prides in marching on
- 43:45Speaker 5: others until you stand alone. Not knowing that in the
- 43:50Speaker 5: kingdom being alone is dangerous.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Are we together now? Being alone is dangerous.
- 43:57Speaker 5: The Bible says it is not good for man to
- 43:59Speaker 5: be alone. He was not just speaking in terms of marriage.
- 44:02Speaker 5: He's saying it's a risk when you are alone. In business,
- 44:05Speaker 5: in a sector, when you are alone, that sharing together
- 44:09Speaker 5: that shields you. It is the reason why every man
- 44:15Speaker 5: of God must seek to replicate himself. Your safety is
- 44:18Speaker 5: in reproducing yourself. When you are alone, you become an
- 44:22Speaker 5: endangered species. When the devil strikes you, a whole generation
- 44:27Speaker 5: can perish because of the pride of one person. So
- 44:30Speaker 5: he told Moses, he said, Moses, you are about to die.
- 44:32Speaker 5: Pour your spirit upon others. Find rest so that they.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Can ease this labor for you. Even Jesus himself replicated
- 44:41Speaker 2: himself and asked the people. He said they should continue
- 44:44Speaker 2: doing that. Envy does not find.
- 44:48Speaker 5: fulfillment in being the best or the greatest, it goes
- 44:52Speaker 5: further to want to be alone.
- 44:56Speaker 2: You must be comfortable.
- 44:57Speaker 5: Knowing that no matter how spectacular your calling, your election,
- 45:02Speaker 5: your assignment is, that you are not alone. One time,
- 45:06Speaker 5: the disciples heard that there were other people casting out demons.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Is it in your Bible?
- 45:10Speaker 4: Yes.
- 45:11Speaker 5: They were not part of the camp. And they said, Jesus,
- 45:13Speaker 5: we need to do something about this. Our relevance is
- 45:16Speaker 5: being threatened here. I thought we were the only ones.
- 45:18Speaker 5: How could there be someone who does not honor Jesus?
- 45:21Speaker 5: And yet I'm hearing that some things, can we call
- 45:24Speaker 5: down fire? Let's end this in a hurry. And Jesus
- 45:27Speaker 5: looked at them and said, the fact that you can
- 45:30Speaker 5: think like this, you are not, I mean, who should
- 45:33Speaker 5: be sad if you are with Jesus? That to me
- 45:37Speaker 5: seems to be the highest honor everyone can have. That
- 45:40Speaker 5: Jesus called you to be with him. And even in
- 45:43Speaker 5: the presence of Jesus, people were still not comfortable. Most
- 45:50Speaker 5: times people say, just give me Jesus.
- 45:52Speaker 2: And I'm fine. But now you have him and you
- 45:54Speaker 2: are still not fine.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Are we learning?
- 46:05Speaker 2: The disciples were with Jesus. Can you imagine? The word incarnate.
- 46:10Speaker 5: And they heard that some fellows were trying to heal
- 46:13Speaker 5: and all of that. They would have looked on them
- 46:15Speaker 5: with compassion and said, my God, I wish Jesus would
- 46:17Speaker 5: call these people, even if they are using whatever power.
- 46:20Speaker 5: They said, let's call down fire so that we end this.
- 46:23Speaker 5: We have to be the ones doing this alone.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Every time you think you are the only one doing
- 46:28Speaker 2: what you are doing, you are already under the attack
- 46:30Speaker 2: of delusion.
- 46:33Speaker 5: Ah, there are many other sons. There are many other champions.
- 46:37Speaker 5: There are many other warriors.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 46:39Speaker 5: Do not make the mistake of Elijah. Elijah said, I'm
- 46:43Speaker 5: the only one.
- 46:44Speaker 2: He said, ah, ah, ah, ah. You're a great prophet,
- 46:46Speaker 2: but here you are missing it.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Run away from that feeling that makes you believe you
- 46:53Speaker 5: are the only one God is using. No, no matter
- 46:56Speaker 5: how spectacular.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Reverend Julian. You invited me.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Don't worry, I'll end by giving you the cure. So don't...
- 47:17Speaker 2: I'm a good doctor. There's a cure.
- 47:19Speaker 5: There's both a vaccine and a treatment. Are we together now?
- 47:25Speaker 5: But now, I hope you are not just laughing. We're
- 47:27Speaker 5: dealing with serious issues here. That a man can be anointed.
- 47:32Speaker 5: A man can be wealthy.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Herod heard. Look up please.
- 47:37Speaker 5: Herod heard. That a king was born somewhere. He said,
- 47:42Speaker 5: find that king. I want to kill that baby. That
- 47:46Speaker 5: the baby will not even see the light of day.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Question. I mean, isn't it embarrassing to come to the
- 47:52Speaker 2: palace and meet the king worried?
- 47:54Speaker 5: And he said, king, what was the issue? I mean,
- 47:56Speaker 5: is there war brewing up somewhere? And he says, a
- 47:59Speaker 5: little child. I heard that there's prophecy over that little child.
- 48:06Speaker 2: And I'm concerned about my place. Look at the age gap.
- 48:12Speaker 5: The age gap is enough comfort to know that most
- 48:16Speaker 5: likely by the time this child becomes an adult, he
- 48:19Speaker 5: will be dead. And yet, envy can make an intelligent
- 48:23Speaker 5: person be that dull to reduce yourself and pursue mundane things.
- 48:33Speaker 5: A king threatened by a baby who is not even
- 48:35Speaker 5: aware he is there.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Is someone learning?
- 48:45Speaker 5: I wish I would tell you that this does not
- 48:47Speaker 5: exist among preachers, but it does. I wish I would
- 48:51Speaker 5: tell you that this does not exist among.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Business people, but it does.
- 48:55Speaker 5: I wish I would tell you that this does not
- 48:57Speaker 5: exist among brethren in church, it does. So here comes
- 49:02Speaker 5: a powerful testimony. And while others are crying, someone is
- 49:06Speaker 5: in anger. So the triplets finally came. And you are saying,
- 49:13Speaker 5: how bedeviled can you be? That while others are crying
- 49:17Speaker 5: and say we rejoice for this woman someone else i
- 49:22Speaker 5: can tell you it's a painful thing but not everybody
- 49:25Speaker 5: claps when you are lifted there are people your arrival
- 49:32Speaker 5: brings an end to their dispensation they will fight it
- 49:37Speaker 5: john the baptist who called Jesus to ministry and ordained him.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Jesus himself submitted to John, and the Bible acknowledged that
- 49:48Speaker 5: John was the greatest of the prophets. Let me show
- 49:51Speaker 5: you what envy can do. It can spill over to
- 49:54Speaker 5: offense of all sorts. When John was done, he said
- 49:58Speaker 5: it beautifully so that I must decrease, that he will increase.
- 50:03Speaker 2: John would have left in honor. I do not believe
- 50:06Speaker 2: he would have ended the way he ended, but in anger, envy.
- 50:10Speaker 5: Now Jesus, some of his disciples had left and they
- 50:13Speaker 5: had gone to Jesus, remember? And John had so deteriorated,
- 50:16Speaker 5: he got to a point where he began to discuss
- 50:18Speaker 5: other issues and.
- 50:20Speaker 2: He found himself in prison. Watch this.
- 50:24Speaker 5: John sent his disciples to go to the same Jesus
- 50:27Speaker 5: he ordained and said, are you the Messiah?
- 50:30Speaker 2: Come on, John.
- 50:32Speaker 5: Look what envy Degenerated to offense. Are you the Messiah?
- 50:37Speaker 5: John who said behold the Lamb of God.
- 50:42Speaker 2: John who baptized Jesus is now asking are you the Messiah?
- 50:48Speaker 2: Even the scribes and the Pharisees had come to terms
- 50:51Speaker 2: with the fact that he was the Messiah. Nicodemus came
- 50:54Speaker 2: by night and said, we know that thou art a
- 50:57Speaker 2: preacher sent from God. Don't mind what we do in
- 51:00Speaker 2: the day. We already know.
- 51:01Speaker 5: And here is John saying, are you the Messiah? Or
- 51:04Speaker 5: should we expect another? The language of envy. The language
- 51:09Speaker 5: of offense. Watch Jesus. Jesus did not answer. He healed
- 51:13Speaker 5: the sick and did all this. He said, go back.
- 51:16Speaker 5: Tell John what you have seen. And then he said,
- 51:19Speaker 5: blessed is he who is not offended in me. That's
- 51:24Speaker 5: my answer to John. Go back and tell John, offense
- 51:28Speaker 5: is about to destroy you. It's a prayer that I
- 51:39Speaker 5: prayed for myself. It's a prayer that I prayed for
- 51:43Speaker 5: everyone I love. That you will shield yourself by revelation.
- 51:49Speaker 5: From this cancer of envy. It can turn a good
- 51:54Speaker 5: man of God.
- 51:54Speaker 2: To look like a beast. It can turn a good businessman.
- 51:59Speaker 2: To look. It brings.
- 52:00Speaker 5: It's a depleter of anything. Add envy to anything. And
- 52:05Speaker 5: it reduces you to ashes. There are people in Kenya.
- 52:09Speaker 5: This is their singular problem. There are people in Nigeria.
- 52:13Speaker 5: There are people in South Africa. There are people all
- 52:15Speaker 5: over Africa.
- 52:16Speaker 2: They literally cannot sleep because the news of what God
- 52:21Speaker 2: is doing in the life of others is such a
- 52:23Speaker 2: torture to them. They lose sleep. They live on drugs.
- 52:28Speaker 5: You mean this man has purchased this property again?
- 52:31Speaker 2: What do we do? Someone killed. Can there be a
- 52:34Speaker 2: scandal around this life? Something that comforts me that this
- 52:38Speaker 2: person is not that spectacular. They look forward to a news.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Is there something? Can you find something? The character of envy.
- 52:49Speaker 2: This businessman cannot be that spectacular.
- 52:52Speaker 3: No.
- 52:52Speaker 2: I'm sure he's doing something. This man of God cannot
- 52:55Speaker 2: be that spectacular. I'm sure there's something. And because they
- 52:59Speaker 2: are humans. You will find an I that was not
- 53:01Speaker 2: dotted eventually. Or a T that was not crossed.
- 53:05Speaker 5: Now envy capitalizes on anything. And good news for envy
- 53:09Speaker 5: when it does find something. And it will find because
- 53:12Speaker 5: you are dealing with the world of men. So you
- 53:14Speaker 5: find people over flogging simple matters.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Is because envy is what is flogging it. Did you
- 53:20Speaker 2: hear what I said?
- 53:21Speaker 5: Over flogging simple matters. So the secretary forgot the file. Truly,
- 53:28Speaker 5: he forgot the file.
- 53:29Speaker 2: But why are you still discussing the issue after one month?
- 53:33Speaker 5: Ah, it's not the issue of file. You just found
- 53:35Speaker 5: the file issue as a scapegoat to help you vent
- 53:39Speaker 5: out envy. Are we together now?
- 53:42Speaker 1: Yes.
- 53:44Speaker 5: Okay, the man of God quoted Genesis instead of John.
- 53:47Speaker 5: Is that the reason? Did it alter your receiving Jesus?
- 53:50Speaker 5: Did it alter salvation? Is it really the scripture?
- 53:53Speaker 2: No, sir.
- 54:01Speaker 5: Oh reverend julian put a wrong account number he missed
- 54:04Speaker 5: it by one okay so you correct it no something
- 54:07Speaker 5: must i mean how could he miss that one is
- 54:10Speaker 5: it really the.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Account number envy hides in anything especially truth because truth
- 54:20Speaker 2: can also be used by evil.
- 54:24Speaker 5: The Bible says Judas, even though this was not a
- 54:27Speaker 5: case of envy, Judas saw a woman break her alabaster
- 54:30Speaker 5: box in front of Jesus. And he rode through the
- 54:34Speaker 5: wings of compassion to say, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 54:36Speaker 2: This is a waste.
- 54:38Speaker 5: That was greed speaking. But he spoke through empathy. He said,
- 54:44Speaker 5: the money would have been gathered. Then he remembers and
- 54:46Speaker 5: given to the poor. And the Bible says, no, it's
- 54:49Speaker 5: not because he loved the poor. It's because he was
- 54:53Speaker 5: a thief. So a thief can speak as a philanthropist.
- 54:57Speaker 5: And yet he's a thief. An envious person can speak
- 55:03Speaker 5: as a counselor. Yet it is not counseling. He's not
- 55:07Speaker 5: interested in your growth. He's venting out something.
- 55:17Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 55:23Speaker 5: Every time you find envy, it overflogs simple issues. The
- 55:28Speaker 5: goal is not correction. The goal is to reveal flaws.
- 55:33Speaker 5: The goal of envy is to reveal flaws. And the
- 55:37Speaker 5: point is to.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Try to downplay, to demean anything that looks spectacular so
- 55:43Speaker 2: that it will find rest. I'm saying this to us
- 55:46Speaker 2: because subconsciously, many of us have found ourselves, I know some.
- 55:50Speaker 5: Of you are laughing, but I'm honestly describing you in
- 55:53Speaker 5: the name of honesty. You know it's just that I
- 55:56Speaker 5: didn't put your name in this story. But I'm really
- 55:58Speaker 5: talking about you. Now, don't feel bad.
- 56:00Speaker 2: This is Rima's face. I came in the spirit of love.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 56:11Speaker 5: They hated him because of his father's love. They hated
- 56:14Speaker 5: him because of his dream. They hated him because of
- 56:18Speaker 5: his coat. Three things that will make men hate you.
- 56:21Speaker 5: The love of your father. No, you are not the
- 56:25Speaker 5: only one who God loves. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of
- 56:28Speaker 5: what is happening between you and him. But I can
- 56:30Speaker 5: only talk for myself. They hated him because of his
- 56:34Speaker 5: father's love. They hated him because of his dream. The
- 56:37Speaker 5: vision he was carrying. And yet the Bible says all
- 56:42Speaker 5: men have the ability to see visions and to dream dreams.
- 56:46Speaker 5: And they hated him because a coat was given to him.
- 56:50Speaker 5: You can't be a preacher and a businessman, a counselor
- 56:53Speaker 5: and a diplomat. It's too much for one person. A
- 56:55Speaker 5: coat of many colors. If you have one color, it's alright.
- 57:00Speaker 5: But many colors is too spectacular. How do you see
- 57:03Speaker 5: many colors and deny it? I'm looking at lovely women
- 57:07Speaker 5: wearing all kinds of things. Many colors.
- 57:09Speaker 2: You know? And you see, there's red, there's all kinds
- 57:12Speaker 2: of things, like the rainbow all there. Many colors.
- 57:19Speaker 5: So are you a man of God or are you
- 57:20Speaker 5: a businessman? How do you excel in every area?
- 57:23Speaker 2: It's not my fault. My father gave me a coat.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Many colors.
- 57:32Speaker 5: And you can be hated for that. I hear you're
- 57:36Speaker 5: a counsellor. I hear you're a businessman. I hear you're
- 57:40Speaker 5: a diplomat. And you're excelling in all areas. Juggling them
- 57:43Speaker 5: with efficiency. The Bible says, whatsoever he doeth, prospers. Who
- 57:48Speaker 5: is God speaking to? Now, we're going to pray for
- 57:52Speaker 5: one minute. And then I will show you the biblical
- 57:55Speaker 5: cure to envy. God is going to be healing us here.
- 57:58Speaker 2: Are you ready?
- 57:59Speaker 5: Lift your voice and pray in one minute. Walk upon
- 58:04Speaker 5: my heart. Walk upon my heart. Someone pray. A man
- 58:08Speaker 5: of God pray. Someone desperate for growth pray. Walk upon
- 58:13Speaker 5: my heart. Let the spirit of envy give way. Some
- 58:17Speaker 5: of you have recognized it in all honesty. You have
- 58:20Speaker 5: seen that it's there. It's been there for years. It's
- 58:24Speaker 5: time to get it out of your life. It's time
- 58:26Speaker 5: to step into a greater level of spiritual efficiency.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Are you praying? Walk upon my heart. Please be seated.
- 59:07Speaker 2: We have to pray. the cure for envy.
- 59:15Speaker 5: I wanted to start on a simple note this morning
- 59:17Speaker 5: the cure for envy we pray for the sick in
- 59:21Speaker 5: the evening we all need healing this morning and that
- 59:26Speaker 5: healing is not just the healing of your body because
- 59:30Speaker 5: a broken spirit can dry up the bones You can
- 59:34Speaker 5: have a problem that is spiritual.
- 59:36Speaker 2: And it will tell on your health. Hallelujah.
- 59:43Speaker 5: I want to give you by scripture. The cure for envy.
- 59:46Speaker 5: And I give you a guarantee. As touching the integrity
- 59:49Speaker 5: of God's word. That anyone who will engage this. You
- 59:54Speaker 5: will be free from envy.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Is God helping us? The unity that only comes through Christ.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Number one. The first cure for envy is to recognize.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: And embrace your uniqueness. Recognize and embrace your uniqueness.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: And see your uniqueness as a blessing. Recognize and embrace
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: your uniqueness.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: And then see your uniqueness as a blessing. recognize and
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: embrace your uniqueness. Apostle, I wish I was that articulate
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: and intelligent like Reverend Julian. Don't admire what may not
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: work in your life. Focus on something God has given
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: you and you'll find out that you are equally, maybe
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: not equally in all fairness, but you are uniquely, I
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: think that's a better expression, you are uniquely valuable.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: Key number one. The cure to envy. Recognize and embrace
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: your uniqueness. And see your uniqueness as a blessing. Someone
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: shouted to the hearing of the devil. Say I am
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: a blessing. Don't mind how you feel.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Say it again. Say I am a blessing.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: This is a healthy indoctrination that you need.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Else you will not be able to survive in today's world. Pastor.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: You are a blessing. Don't tell me how many members
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: you have. While you trust God for growth. Recognize that
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: even in that place.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: That church.
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: You may not be the individual that people seem to
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: be seeking around. But know this. That I'm a blessing.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: I'm not a burden to my world. I'm not a
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: curse to my world. Someone shout it again.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Say I'm a blessing. I'm a blessing. Genesis chapter 4,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: we read.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: That earlier on verse 2.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: The Bible says that Abel was a keeper of sheep,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: but Cain was a tiller of the ground. A tiller
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: of the ground. A tiller of the ground.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: You may not have the privilege of being called into
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: the apostolic or the prophetic ministry. But see yourself as
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: a counselor with nobility. Do not see yourself less. And sometimes,
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: as ministers of the gospel, we need to be careful
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: the way we downplay and demean other functionaries within the body.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: There is a way you.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: It's the same way with all due respect sometimes... Politicians
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: sell certain offices. It makes certain offices look too, they
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: exaggerate certain things and they make people not comfortable where
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: they are. They want to desire certain things and they
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: begin to fight and kill for it. By the time
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: you give an impression that if you are not an
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: apostle or a prophet or a pastor, I.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Don't know what you are doing in the kingdom of God.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: Now you see, that idea already categorizes certain people and
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: it puts them in certain uncomfortable positions. So ministers of
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: the gospel, we owe it to ourselves to appreciate the
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: diversity within the body and to do it vocally so.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Especially when you are in a position by the mercy
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: of God where the nations can celebrate you. You would
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: be in the best position to recognize and acknowledge others.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: Because now you are leveraging on that influence to make
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: others feel good. Don't make people feel uncomfortable because you
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: have arrived.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: No. In this place right now, watch this. There are media.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: People all across this beautiful place.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Are we together? Whilst I am preaching, they are aiding
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: your understanding.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: If I mention a scripture with skill and intelligence, as
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: anointed as you think I am, put me behind that.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Laptop and see how I mess up your viewing experience.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: See that?
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: And it will be foolish of me. To not acknowledge
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: the presence of such people. When I came in I
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: heard worship going on. And there were lovely people dancing.
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: I mean look the beauty in this place. Someone's creativity
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: is the reason why we are comfortable here.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Do you know that individual is as important as the
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: preacher who is preaching? Say I am a blessing. One
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: more time say it again. I am a blessing. Apostle,
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I may never have the opportunity to hold the mic
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: at Rima Fest, but do not downplay your contribution. It
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: is why some of us were.
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: Able, I took a nice glass of water somewhere, I
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: was well taken care of in the green room. How
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: do you downplay that creativity? They arrived here before me.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: They dressed up the place before my arrival.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: So you do not acknowledge the grace of God upon
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: my life at the expense of their own relevance. I'm
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: only in Kenya for two days and I return back.
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: How about the pastors that labor over the people who.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Are now here represented?
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: How do you downplay them because you believe an anointed
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: man of God just came?
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: It would be foolish for me to believe.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: That I can downplay all the pastors, the prophets, the intercessors,
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: the prayer groups.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: You see that? When God gives you.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: A position of honor. A position of grace. I mean,
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: some gentlemen, I think they are some Ugandans.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Where are they?
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: Those are my lovely guys. Now, they did something. They
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: made a beautiful portrait. They found everyone, you know, people
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: who had imparted upon my life. And then they put
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: their own portraits too. They made one for me and
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: one for Reverend Julian. As soon as I arrived, I
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: was just trying to catch my breath. And this gentleman came.
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: That is uniqueness there. Ask me to draw you and
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: see what I will produce. Walk up to 10 people
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: and speak from the depth of your heart.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Say, you are a blessing and I need your blessing.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Go ahead. You are a blessing. I need that blessing
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: that is upon your life. Don't tell me what is
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: not working in your ministry. Man of God, you are
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: a blessing. I know you listen to my messages, but
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: you are a blessing. Come on now. Appreciate the unique
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: expression of God's grace.
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: As a diplomat you are a blessing. The cure to envy.
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: God bless you. Now you return to your seat. Give
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: Jesus a loud shout of praise.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Hallelujah. Are we together? God bless you. Now look up please.
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: Look how healing that sounds. Even what you just did now.
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: Do you know you just delivered someone? So I'm this valuable.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: I pray for you.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: You pray for me.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: I love you.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: I need you to survive.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: I won't harm you. With words from my mouth. Hold on.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: I hope you meant that line of the song.
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: Because some of you have torn others in pieces. You've
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: used your mouth to tear businesses, tear churches down. May
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: this be a repentance service for you.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Listen.
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: Members too have to be careful. They are the ones
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: who join the heads of pastors together. Saul killed 2,000.
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: David killed 10,000.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Oh dear, Saul. And Saul says, where is David? Let
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: me kill him. The women caused that trouble. Now, now, women,
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: I love you. I mean the women in the Bible.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: They began to sing, honestly celebrating a valiant man.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: And they said, Saul killed how many thousand?
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: One thousand. Now David has killed ten thousand. And the
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: news got to Saul. So, I think we need to
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: kill this man. Listen, we must be careful. Even how
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: we express the things that we call testimony in church.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: With all due respect, and I don't mean to bruise
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: your ego, it's too early, I'm just arriving. But, but, but,
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: help me round up on time. But, let me just
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: have your attention. Don't come and give a testimony like.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: We were.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: 10 in a bus from different churches then there was
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: an accident and I was the only survivor and it
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: is because of the prophetic word Joshua Selman gave over
- 1:09:10Speaker 5: my life that may be a sincere testimony but these
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: are the kinds of trouble we cause Kenya Help men
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: of God.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Love one another. Are we together?
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: Don't go around downplaying the investment of God's grace upon
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: another preacher as a way of demonstrating the excellency of
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: another person's work.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: No. Don't do that.
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: Remember, we're still dealing with the commonwealth thing. Within the fold,
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: everyone wins, even when one wins. Did you hear what
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: I said? Within the fold, everyone wins, even when one wins.
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: I can share in the victory of Reverend Julian, even
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: though I have no business with what I saw there.
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: But it becomes my business, because he's my brother. And
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: if you have a problem with that, then talk to
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: our father. I think he's the best person in that position.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: So I can celebrate what he's doing. Genuinely. Not pretentiously. Genuinely.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Are we together now? You are a blessing.
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: I told myself this. Right from before God lifted me.
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: Genesis 12 and verse 3.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: In thee. I'm speaking here.
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: To a man of God who is always angry when
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: he sees another man of God with greater grace.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Find comfort.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: You are equally valuable. There is a space for you
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: in God's program. Are we together? The reason why you
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: do not find a whale in an aquarium is because
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: there's no space for the whale there. If the whale
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: is a whale indeed, go to the ocean.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Leave the aquarium peacefully.
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: And let the fishes that have the size enough for
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: the aquarium.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: A whale does not beautify a house. Unfortunately.
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: So don't say you are too small. You are just
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: exact for the beauty of a room. Who is God
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: speaking to? Apostle, I just have five members. And I
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: don't know why I can't become like so and so.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Well....
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: If you can build those five members to be the
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: five billionaires, the five apostles, the five prophets in Kenya,
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: you would have become the most successful man of God.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Known in history.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: It's amazing how that we look away from all that
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: God has done in our lives and we begin to
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: admire others to a point of envy, jealousy, offense, then hatred.
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: Admire and celebrate graces and gifts, but not at the
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: detriment of your own investment.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: For one last time, say, I am a blessing. I
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: am a blessing.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Yes, sir.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: A blessing. The one who drove me. Those of you
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: who drive me every time I come here, you notice
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I always tell you thank you. It's a culture.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: No matter how many times they drive me here, taking
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: me back, I say thank you.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: Because anyone who can do for you what you cannot
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: do for yourself, owe them thanks.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Within that field. There are many birds in the body
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: of Christ trying to swim. There are many fishes loving trees,
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: wanting to be on trees. No.
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: When you use fishing, To rate a bird, it will
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: remain a failure forever. There are birds that can touch
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: the sea briefly to pick fish. But they are not
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: meant for the sea. Stay in your area of grace
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: and find comfort there. I preached a message a few
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: months ago called Rise Up and Walk. And it was
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: a message to empower a generation. The miracle that happened
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: at Gate Beautiful... Was only the final phase of the miracle.
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: The real miracle was that the Bible says certain people
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: carried the crippled man every day. And returned him back.
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: They were nameless. But they were the reasons why the
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: apostle could see him. They carried him every day.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Every day.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: The second miracle was that the man agreed to be carried.
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: There are people who are crippled but they will never
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: agree to be carried where they will be healed.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Amen. Rise up and walk. Number two. God is healing
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: someone right now. From envy. What is the second key?
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: The second cure to envy. Gratitude.
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: 1 Thessalonians 5.16-18 Gratitude. Gratitude immunes you. It immunes you
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: from the spirit of envy.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Gratitude. Give it to us please.
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: First Thessalonians 5 and verse 16. Rejoice evermore it says.
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: Pray without ceasing.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: Then it says. In everything.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: Give thanks. For this is the will of God. Your
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: condition may not be the will of God. But the
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: aptitude of thanksgiving in all conditions.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Is the will of God. Can I tell you the truth?
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: Everything you thank God for.
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: Grows and it multiplies. And your appreciation of it also multiplies.
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: Philemon chapter 1 and verse 6.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: Here's what the Bible says.
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: That the communication of your faith might become effectual through
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: the acknowledging of every good thing that is in you
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: in Christ.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: I like that.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: The acknowledging of every good thing that is in you
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: in Christ.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: God gave you beauty. Don't shy away from it. Thank you, Jesus.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: And if you think that's not a great gift, pray
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: that God takes it away. Then you see how many
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: things will be left. Are we together?
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: God gave you intelligence that the communication of your faith
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: becomes effectual.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Lord, you gave me intelligence. I thank you for it.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: You gave me acumen for leadership. Thank you. You've made
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: me a pastor so desired by many people. Thank you.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: You've made me a businessman. You've given me ideas. In
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: the night, ideas come. And I've been able to build
- 1:15:52Speaker 5: several businesses. Someone shout it from your spirit through your mouth. Say,
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: thank you, Jesus. One more time, say, thank you, Jesus. Yes,
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: thank him for all that he's done. Thank him for
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: his faithfulness. When you get up in the morning, look
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: yourself at the mirror and say, thank you. I'm wonderfully
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: and fearfully made. I'm a testament of God's love. He's
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: loved me with an everlasting love and with his loving kindness,
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: he's drawn me to himself. Lord, thank you for giving
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: me this ministry. Thank you for giving me these children
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: still struggling with the third born. He's still stubborn, but
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: I thank you that he's alive. Thank you that he's
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: in a house where he can be changed. Thank God
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: for what he's done in your life. It is difficult
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: to be thankful and to complain. It is difficult to
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: thank God and be envious. Lord, you gave me this.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: You gave me that. The story, the parable of the
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: talent is very instructive. I don't know why God gave
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: the man two. Rather than five. The Bible says according
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: to their several abilities. But do you know. The same
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: commendation the man with ten got. The man with two
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: also got. I used to think that there was no difference.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Until I learned. That the conditions that surrounded that. The temptations.
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: That came to all three was different. The man with five.
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: Had the temptation of pride and complacency. He had the
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: greatest talent. He overcame that to multiply it. The man
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: with two had the temptation of envy knowing he was
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: second place. But he still overcame and most likely was
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: mentored by the man who had five to have replicated
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: the same result. The man who had one. You see
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: that it was mercy that even brought that one. Because
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: the end of the story justifies that he did not
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: deserve more.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving. Father, thank you for my life. Thank you
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: for breath. Thank you for health. Thank you for grace.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: I'm telling you sincerely, this is how I live. I
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: am grateful, not just because I am me.
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: Well, I'm grateful for being me, but I mean, I'm
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: just grateful for being a child of God.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: See that? Grateful to be me.
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: Every opportunity, I don't downplay opportunities. I make every dealing
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: of God in my life a special moment.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: I don't act as if it would have been without God. No,
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: I'm very vocal. Lord, look what you've done in my life.
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: When I'm back from every service, including this one, I
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: will go down on my knees.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: And say, thank you. Your boy has come to say
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: thank you.
- 1:18:35Speaker 5: That mercy, again, your mercy and your grace.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Yes, sir. I mean it. I mean it. It's not
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: because I'm standing on stage here. Hallelujah.
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: I had the honor this year to be invited. for
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: a lecture at Harvard University. And it was a very
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: humbling time not to preach, to deliver a lecture.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: It's a great honor. It's a different thing if a
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: church calls you to speak. But when an academic.
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: Institution, one of the most prestigious by any standard, that
- 1:19:14Speaker 5: they call you as a preacher.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: I'm not an academician. I don't consider myself one. I'm
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: passionate about knowledge. But to invite you, an institution will
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: not risk their reputation on sentiments.
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: And so I remember getting down on my knees. I said, Father,
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: thank you. If it ever happens good in my life,
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: you are the reason. And I say, thank you. Someone
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: needs to say, thank you, Jesus. That every time you
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: slot in your ATM and something comes out, say, thank you, Jesus.
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: The Bible said, trust in the Lord with all your heart.
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: Proverbs chapter 3 and verse 5. And lean not unto
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: your own understanding. It says, in all your ways, acknowledge
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: him and he shall direct your path. Verse 7 says,
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: be not wise in your own eyes. It says, fear
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: the Lord and depart from evil. If God is giving
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: you victory in ministry, always say thank you Jesus.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: Don't just say it in the secret. Say it in
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: the open. When you can thank God for your life,
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: you can thank others for their contribution to your life.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: Say thank you Jesus.
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: So number one, appreciate your uniqueness. See your uniqueness as
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: a blessing, as an advantage.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Embrace your uniqueness. Number two, gratitude. Number three, are you ready?
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: The cure for envy, number three, very quickly, is content
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: for growth and increase in capacity. The cure for envy,
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: content for growth and increase in capacity.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: For as long as you are small.
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: And you remain small, You will not be free from envy.
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: Content for growth. Galatians 4 and verse 1.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: An heir. He says.
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: For as long as that heir is a child. He
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: says he differed nothing from a slave. Even though he
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: be Lord of all. That means it is your inheritance
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: in Christ.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: Oh yes. Inheritance. I can spend the whole day talking
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: about that. Inheritance.
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: That the inheritance that a believer has is not unique.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: To any one believer. The inheritance that the saints have
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: in light is generic.
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: Access to grace. Access to wisdom. Access to the Holy Spirit.
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: Access to the resources of the world. And that you
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: can use this as tools to create a great destiny.
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: The Bible says the same Lord is rich unto all.
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: The same Lord is rich. He does not show favoritism.
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: God does not have grandsons. He has sons.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: Sons.
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: Behold what manner of love the father has bestowed upon us.
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: That we should be called the sons of God. The
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: Bible says now are we the sons of God. And
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: it does not yet appear what we shall be like.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: But the Bible says.
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: That's Romans chapter 8 from verse 18.
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: It says I reckon. That the sufferings of this present
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: time are not worthy to be compared with the glory
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: that shall be revealed in us. Verse 19 says, for
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: the earnest expectation of the creature awaited the manifestation not
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: of one son, not of one unique son.
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: Not one apostolic son. Not one prophetic son. The sons
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: of God. That means there is a place for you.
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: That table of greatness has a place for you. But
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: it will happen by growth and capacity. Growth and capacity.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: Please look up.
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: There are many people who are victims of envy today.
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: Because there are many requests. I was teaching my people
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: and I told them many things we call prayer requests
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: were supposed to come to your life naturally through growth.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: Growth can deflate a man's prayer requests. Many of the things.
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: That we say God bring to my life were designed
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: to come through growth.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: If the vessel is small, it makes the oil look small.
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: The oil is never small, but it assumes the shape
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: of the container carrying it.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: You see that now?
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: We can all be great. We should all be great.
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: It's in our corporate destiny as believers. Let me repeat
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: that again. Choosing my words carefully.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: It's in our corporate destiny as believers to all be great.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: Literally be great.
- 1:24:03Speaker 5: In business, in ministry, in politics and governance, in leadership,
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: in every endeavor.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: In life, it's our corporate destiny.
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: But there's no potential for glory to anyone who does
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: not contend for growth. contend for growth Luke chapter 2
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: and verse 52 and Jesus.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: Increased increased increased in wisdom your Jesus.
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: Increased in favor he increased in stature and in favor
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: with God and with men with God and with men
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: someone say I will grow shout it say I will
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: grow say it again say I will grow first Corinthians
- 1:24:46Speaker 5: chapter 3 and verse 2 Man of God, you can grow.
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: You can become a greater version of yourself. Businessman, there's
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: no point envying another person. There's space for you. You
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: don't find, you hardly find two aircrafts crashing in the sky.
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: The space is too wide. No matter what Boeing, whatever
- 1:25:04Speaker 5: it is, once you only find traffic on ground, once
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: you lift to the sky, there's enough space.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: Enough space. Enough space. I have fed you with milk
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: and not with meat. Why?
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: For hitherto you were not able to bear it. Neither
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: are ye now able. There are many of you God
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: wants to do much in your life.
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: As a man of God, it's in your corporate destiny.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: There are certain anointings that come to your life.
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: But they were authorized to come to a certain version
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: of you. That anointing has not found the version it
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: is looking for.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: So it keeps going back. It will have to wait
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: until you grow.
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: Apostle God told me he's going to be trusting me
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: with 10,000 members.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: 20,000, 50,000.
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: No, this version of you will be a destruction and
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: a casualty if God should sell you like that to
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: the nations. No, God is also a businessman. He doesn't
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: sell bad products. He can work on it. He's called
- 1:26:06Speaker 5: the potter. So if the clay is not well.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: Done, he smashes it and builds it again. And he
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: does that for his name's sake.
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: Namesake means his logo is on you and he protects
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: his image.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: God does not deliver a bad job. No.
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: When you see a Louis Vuitton or a Gucci or
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: whatever it is and you look at it and that shoe,
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: you see something that you just know that someone.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: Someone has brought in a fake product.
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: Because even though the right logo is there. There are
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: certain indices you have to find. The detailing. And when
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: it is missing. That's how God is. So when you
- 1:26:49Speaker 5: are bankrupt of character. Bankrupt of this.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: God says no. Putting an anointing on this kind of person. Now.
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: I rather work on the person. So while you are
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: fasting for power. What God will be working on is
- 1:27:01Speaker 5: character first. And you are saying Lord.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: Is it that you can't just bring the anointing. We
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: will deal with character later on. God says, no, I
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: don't walk like that. Hallelujah. Growth and capacity.
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: Reverend Julian did not start this way. I've had the
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: honor of attending the Rima Fest for a few years.
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: And I've seen the growth and progression. Do you know,
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: when you grow, everything grows. Stop trying to get everything
- 1:27:31Speaker 5: to grow. Just grow. When you grow, everything will rise
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: to match your growth. Don't try to change friends when
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: you've not grown. And everybody, you draw people who are
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: in your future. Your future self should be the one
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: relating with them. Just because you saved their numbers does
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: not mean.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: They are in your realm. No. Try to call them.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: They won't answer you. It's a message. Imagine, I hope
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: you are not insulted. Are we together? Yeah. It's good
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: to grow.
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: It's like someone, with all due respect and not to
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: insult you, it's like someone who buys the latest SUV
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: that came out this year and you find the person
- 1:28:18Speaker 5: with a gallon hoping to look for foil and put inside.
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: You are not there. Because when you grow, all the
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: things that support that level also grow with you. Relationships, resources, access.
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: This is one way you measure authentic growth. When you
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: become wealthy by stealing, there will the equation does not
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: balance something else will not grow that should support that
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: if you are just looking for an experience to challenge
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: yourself that's fine but i mean if you want to
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: exist in a realm no there are some things you
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: should preserve your honor and live until you grow So
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: sometimes when God hides you, it's his way of meting
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: out mercy. So that it matters how you are sold
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: to the world. I hate to use that word, but
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: I hope you understand what I mean.
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: When you sell a product, you are causing people to
- 1:29:11Speaker 5: desire that product.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: And you have to because impression matters. Impression matters. So
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: God wants to fix you.
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: To work on you, adorn you, and then tell the world,
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: this is what I can do with people who are yielded.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: And in one moment, you become a voice of healing.
- 1:29:31Speaker 5: You become a voice of grace. So stop converting certain
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: things in anger and envy. It is already in your destiny.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: Just grow to the version that would have that. Apostle,
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: I'm trusting God to be able to host a meeting
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: like this by myself.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: Let me speak as a consultant. So show me, let
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: me see. I can tell you without prophesying. I can
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: tell you whether you are wasting your time or whether
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: it will come to pass. Show me the capacity, the network.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: Are we together? Do you know how to negotiate for
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: these kinds of things?
- 1:30:12Speaker 5: Do you know the factors that need to be in
- 1:30:15Speaker 5: place for such an event to hold?
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: I don't think I'm not interested. Then you will not
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: have it.
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: And the greatest way to step into a destiny you desire.
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: Is to appreciate the one that now models for you.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: What you desire. While learning from it.
- 1:30:35Speaker 5: That's why I celebrate and respect all the pastors who
- 1:30:38Speaker 5: have left their busy schedules.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: To come for Rima Fest. To be inspired and to learn.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: Two things.
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: To be inspired and to learn. If you see a
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: level of excellence here beyond what you know. Don't assume
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: you've always known it. No, your results show you don't
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: know it.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: So learn. Learn with humility. When I sit here I learn.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: I learn. I'm passionate about knowing what else is not
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: working in my life. Don't be embarrassed. Learn. Learn. Why
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: do I invite people and they don't come? Learn. Learn.
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: The labor of the foolish wearied every one of them.
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: Because he knoweth not how to get to the city.
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: There is a way to influence. There is a way
- 1:31:24Speaker 5: to power. There is a way to access resources. How
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: did Pastor Julian coordinate favor from all of these parastatals,
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: these businesses that are in partnership with him? He was
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: not born that way. Men define their possibilities through growth.
- 1:31:40Speaker 5: They define their possibilities through growth. Businessman, thank God for
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: what you have done. But if you remain small and
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: you don't grow, you will envy everybody. Man of God,
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: thank God for where you are. But do you know
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: there are still virgin dimensions in the spirit? Content for growth.
- 1:31:58Speaker 5: And the way you do it is by coming for
- 1:32:00Speaker 5: events like this. To expose you to what God can
- 1:32:03Speaker 5: do with a yielded vessel.
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: You go back provoked unto godliness.
- 1:32:08Speaker 5: Not from a standpoint of jealousy. Lord, the same Lord
- 1:32:12Speaker 5: is rich unto all. Let me carry this fire to
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: my nation too. Let me carry this fire too.
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: I remember many years ago, I used to watch Reinhard Bonnke.
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: Please sit down for a moment. I used to watch
- 1:32:23Speaker 5: Reinhard Bonnke. I attended his crusades. I mean I saw
- 1:32:28Speaker 5: tens of thousands of people. Very unassuming personality. And worst of,
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: he would come and preach a very simple message.
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: Annoyingly simple sometimes. And you know when you.
- 1:32:41Speaker 5: Have an investment of God's grace, the spirit of revelation,
- 1:32:44Speaker 5: it comes with pride too. So sometimes you just shelve
- 1:32:48Speaker 5: those things. If it's not working in your life, it
- 1:32:50Speaker 5: is not there.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: Period. Period.
- 1:32:55Speaker 5: You've heard my story. I think I've shared it many
- 1:32:57Speaker 5: times in Kenya. That in one of the events, pastor,
- 1:33:01Speaker 5: I came early because I desired that grace. No room
- 1:33:05Speaker 5: for envy. Who is ahead of you is ahead of you.
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: Period.
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: Don't argue and waste time and explain away. You are
- 1:33:13Speaker 5: worsening the pain.
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:33:21Speaker 5: I remember I went to the crusade ground with hunger.
- 1:33:26Speaker 5: And I saw them wheeling people. And I said, please
- 1:33:29Speaker 5: let me participate. And they said, well, you are not
- 1:33:32Speaker 5: part of the committee. I said, I travel a long
- 1:33:33Speaker 5: distance here. Committee or no committee.
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: I have to serve this grace. I held on to
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: the wheelchair.
- 1:33:39Speaker 5: God is my witness. I was wheeling them to the front.
- 1:33:41Speaker 5: And I said, Lord, this is how it will also be.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: In my meetings. No room for envy.
- 1:33:48Speaker 5: Wouldn't it be stupid for you to hear that a
- 1:33:51Speaker 5: man being rendered bonkers is not laughable and childish?
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: No. Who is ahead of you is ahead of you.
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: Just find comfort.
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: And teach yourself that they were ahead of you so
- 1:34:09Speaker 5: that they will guide you to get there too.
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: Are we.
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: Together?
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: When I was watching Pastor Julian as he was just
- 1:34:18Speaker 5: churning out these strategies, I said, my.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: God, you see this grace bar, if it's not on
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: your head, it's not there. I'm telling you. I'm telling you.
- 1:34:27Speaker 5: Daniel chapter 2, it says, then the secret was revealed
- 1:34:30Speaker 5: unto Daniel.
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: If it's not, you can crack.
- 1:34:33Speaker 5: Your brain and read books, but once it doesn't come,
- 1:34:36Speaker 5: it's not there.
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: But when it comes, it shows.
- 1:34:39Speaker 5: I'm praying for you. That which is meant for you.
- 1:34:42Speaker 5: Because you have come here to contend for growth. In
- 1:34:45Speaker 5: the course of this conference. May the mantle for the new.
- 1:34:49Speaker 5: The grace for a higher dimension. May it rest upon you.
- 1:34:54Speaker 5: In the name of Jesus Christ. When I came in here.
- 1:34:58Speaker 5: And I saw our father in the Lord. I was
- 1:35:00Speaker 5: so happy to see him. And we just exchanged pleasantries.
- 1:35:04Speaker 5: And I was eager to ask him questions.
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: You see.
- 1:35:09Speaker 5: This was a man that most likely when I was
- 1:35:11Speaker 5: born or when I was a child, he was already
- 1:35:14Speaker 5: interpreting at the crusades of Maurice Arulo here in Kenya.
- 1:35:18Speaker 5: How do you now come to compare yourself? Because of
- 1:35:21Speaker 5: crowd or travels? It is the foolishness of the younger generation.
- 1:35:27Speaker 5: It is the reason why many fathers are dying with
- 1:35:30Speaker 5: their mantles. Because we do not know what weight is
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: in the spirit. A man may pastor ten members, but
- 1:35:43Speaker 5: the weight that man carries in the spirit.
- 1:35:45Speaker 2: There is something called a kingmaker anointing.
- 1:35:49Speaker 5: Kingmakers never become kings, but they enthrone kings and dethrone kings.
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: So be careful. There are people you see who may.
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: Not have a semblance of certain results, but there is
- 1:36:04Speaker 5: a depth, there is a covenant they have with God.
- 1:36:08Speaker 5: You would have called Anna the prophetess a failure. But
- 1:36:12Speaker 5: she was one of the three prophets that spoke to
- 1:36:15Speaker 5: Jesus and spoke over Jesus. And so when I saw him,
- 1:36:19Speaker 5: I was in a hurry to honor him. When our father,
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: I do not know him.
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: Please sit, sir. I almost feel embarrassed that he's standing.
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: You see that?
- 1:36:29Speaker 5: Apostle, do you have to do that? That's why you
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: will not rise. That's why many young people will not rise.
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: Because they wouldn't learn.
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: Take what I'm saying seriously.
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: You are here and you insult everyone. Once I am
- 1:36:40Speaker 5: richer than you, have more crowds, I think I'm better.
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: No, sir.
- 1:36:44Speaker 5: It doesn't work that way. There are rankings in the spirit.
- 1:36:48Speaker 5: Acknowledge it with comfort. Are we together now?
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:36:55Speaker 5: When I stepped out of the hotel, the man of God,
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: I'm just seeing him for the first time. He just
- 1:36:59Speaker 5: greeted and we exchanged pleasantries and I acknowledged.
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: And honored him. Find comfort in knowing.
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: That if I grow or when I grow, that grace
- 1:37:11Speaker 5: that I covet. Some of you, the people you now admire,
- 1:37:15Speaker 5: the truth is that your calling and your election is
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: even greater than the grace.
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: You are envying.
- 1:37:20Speaker 5: But because you have not grown, God will have to
- 1:37:22Speaker 5: make do with the vessel available until you rise. You
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: are admiring prophets or apostles. Not knowing that you have
- 1:37:30Speaker 5: been ordained to be a cutting edge apostle.
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: A cutting edge prophet. But because you have not grown.
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: Every scripture you quote is wrong. Come on. Go back
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: and do your homework. Don't say God just anoint me anyhow.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: Be serious.
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: Read books on church administration. Read books on leadership. Settle down.
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: Pray and fast. Build character. Build your word content. Build
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: genuine power. And then the gates of the nations will
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: be opened.
- 1:37:58Speaker 5: So don't go around converting people's... Listen, don't convert a
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: man's crown without converting the cross that he died in.
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: It's the cross that leads to the throne. Are we together?
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: How did I get here? Let's round up. Please sit down.
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: Please sit down. Please sit down. I'm trying to be
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: as soft, gentle, and brotherly this morning.
- 1:38:25Speaker 5: So number one, recognize and embrace your uniqueness and see
- 1:38:29Speaker 5: it as a blessing.
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: Just help two people. I just saw light. My God. Light. Light.
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: You are stepping into a level of grace.
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: We'll leave that for evening. Light. Light.
- 1:38:50Speaker 5: As I just said this, I saw light. Just like
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: a flash of light. light there's someone god is saying
- 1:38:57Speaker 5: i should tell you that you have tarried long enough
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: in this realm there is there there are dimensions you
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: have entered but offense and bitterness has talked to you
- 1:39:08Speaker 5: god sent me to preach this message you are truly
- 1:39:11Speaker 5: a man of god and there is grace upon you
- 1:39:14Speaker 5: you are in the making but you tear down everybody
- 1:39:18Speaker 5: theater you admire them sincerely and convert what they carry
- 1:39:22Speaker 5: but you fight them as a way of dealing with
- 1:39:24Speaker 5: jealousy you will never get that get it that way
- 1:39:27Speaker 5: god is speaking to you let let this teaching be
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: a circumcision a cutting away of the old and to
- 1:39:34Speaker 5: bring you into the new hallelujah preparing for the new
- 1:39:49Speaker 5: Please write this, we have to finish. I've given you three.
- 1:39:55Speaker 5: Number four. The fourth key to deal with envy is
- 1:40:01Speaker 5: to submit yourself to prayer. James 5.13 The spirit of
- 1:40:08Speaker 5: envy is an affliction.
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: And the Bible says, is any man afflicted? It says,
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: let him go.
- 1:40:17Speaker 5: Father, this hot and this hatred I have towards this preacher,
- 1:40:22Speaker 5: this woman, this business woman, it is demonic because the character.
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: Of love is not that way. You'll go back. Rather
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: than arguing things around, go and deal with it, my God.
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: There's such an open heavens here.
- 1:40:36Speaker 5: I thought that this would leave this for evening, but
- 1:40:38Speaker 5: what is God doing now, this afternoon? Helande sabalako sabraki
- 1:40:44Speaker 5: barandu sietar.
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: You have fasted. You have prayed. Hear what I'm saying.
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: You have fasted. You have prayed.
- 1:40:57Speaker 5: This is a prophetic word for someone. God is saying
- 1:41:00Speaker 5: I should tell you. Deal with envy. And deal with lust.
- 1:41:04Speaker 2: Two things.
- 1:41:05Speaker 5: There is a man of God. This is a prophetic
- 1:41:07Speaker 5: word for you. The Lord is saying you have fasted
- 1:41:09Speaker 5: and you have prayed. But what is stopping you from
- 1:41:12Speaker 5: entering the anointing.
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: Of the new? Deal with envy. And deal with lust.
- 1:41:17Speaker 2: These two things.
- 1:41:18Speaker 5: When you get them out of the way. The mantle
- 1:41:21Speaker 5: of your destiny will fall upon you. Write it down.
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: Envy. Lust. This is a prophetic word for a man
- 1:41:28Speaker 2: of God. Deal with it. Deal with it. Submit yourself
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: to prayer. You see.
- 1:41:40Speaker 5: The greatest assignment of prayer that I know. Is for
- 1:41:44Speaker 5: your growth and transformation.
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: Reverend Julian. Men can pray old, carnal, flesh, sensual versions
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: of themselves and pray.
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: I always give the example of a snake molting. Have
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: you seen how reptiles molt? They come out of their
- 1:42:01Speaker 5: former self. That's what prayer does. Luke 9, 29. And
- 1:42:06Speaker 5: as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered
- 1:42:11Speaker 5: and his raiment became white and glistening. You can pray yourself.
- 1:42:17Speaker 5: into a more spiritual version of yourself. You can pray
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: out jealousy, pray out envy, pray out, you know, backbiting,
- 1:42:25Speaker 5: pray out.
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: The desire to rejoice over the downfall of others. When
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: you find that cancer around, shut down and.
- 1:42:33Speaker 5: Go for a retreat. Why am I envying my sister?
- 1:42:36Speaker 5: Why am I envying another man of God rather than celebrating?
- 1:42:40Speaker 5: I hear good news that this is what God is
- 1:42:43Speaker 5: doing with Reverend Julian. What is this thing that is
- 1:42:46Speaker 5: forming in my heart? You lock yourself in the place
- 1:42:49Speaker 5: of prayer. Satan, you will not get a hold of me.
- 1:42:52Speaker 5: Not this time. I'm a matured believer. Break out of
- 1:42:55Speaker 5: that shell of flesh. Somebody say, I will pray. Shout it, say,
- 1:43:08Speaker 5: I will pray. Romans chapter 10 and verse 12. I'll
- 1:43:15Speaker 5: give you one more and then we're done. Romans 10, 12.
- 1:43:19Speaker 5: The Bible says, For there is no difference between the
- 1:43:27Speaker 5: Jew and the Greek, the South African, the Kenyan, the Nigerian,
- 1:43:34Speaker 5: the Ghanaian, As far as accessing your inheritance is concerned.
- 1:43:38Speaker 5: It says the same Lord. The same Lord who lifted
- 1:43:42Speaker 5: Reverend Julian. The same Lord who lifted our father and
- 1:43:45Speaker 5: our mother here in the Lord. The same Lord who
- 1:43:47Speaker 5: has lifted every man of God here. The same Lord
- 1:43:50Speaker 5: who has lifted every kingdom business in Kenya. And across
- 1:43:54Speaker 5: East Africa. It said the same Lord is rich unto all.
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: Not all that want him. All that call upon him. Father,
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: you have shown my brother kindness. The same Lord is
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: rich unto all.
- 1:44:08Speaker 5: I pray by mercy that you make the same investment
- 1:44:11Speaker 5: in my life.
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: And you pray.
- 1:44:13Speaker 5: And because of the purity of your heart, God will
- 1:44:15Speaker 5: grant it unto you. Someone say, I will pray. Now
- 1:44:19Speaker 5: you can go to James chapter 4. Remember, it says
- 1:44:22Speaker 5: you have not because you ask. You kill not knowing
- 1:44:26Speaker 5: that the same thing is available in prayer. You kill.
- 1:44:31Speaker 5: You look down on others. The healing anointing that came
- 1:44:34Speaker 5: upon one person is still available. There are still more
- 1:44:38Speaker 5: people who are sick, who may never come to his crusade.
- 1:44:41Speaker 5: God is looking for more healing hands. So why envy?
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: Whereas you can go to God and say, Father, these.
- 1:44:48Speaker 5: Hands are available. Take them to the nations. May they
- 1:44:51Speaker 5: become extensions of your power. And like Jabez, God will
- 1:44:55Speaker 5: hear you and deposit a grace upon your life.
- 1:45:02Speaker 2: Is someone learning? Pray. For in your presence there is
- 1:45:10Speaker 2: life everlasting. I will reverence you Lord. There are two
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: people who are going to begin to run now.
- 1:45:21Speaker 5: Please hold them so they don't injure themselves.
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: There is a grace that is coming on two of them.
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: For in your presence there is life everlasting.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: I will reference you.
- 1:45:38Speaker 5: Lord we'll have the time for impartation later on but
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: reverend julian i sense with all my heart that something
- 1:45:52Speaker 5: god has placed upon your life there.
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: Are at least five people in this place That that grace. Honestly.
- 1:46:02Speaker 2: And I know that people shout under the anointing in church.
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: But there are five.
- 1:46:08Speaker 5: They've desired this investment of the spirit. And truly it's
- 1:46:13Speaker 5: in their call. It's not just a carnal mundane desire.
- 1:46:16Speaker 5: I don't know where the five are. But I pray
- 1:46:19Speaker 5: for you. Apostolic exploits.
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: In the marketplace. Let that grace. By mercy.
- 1:46:31Speaker 5: Let it locate you right where you are. Let it
- 1:46:34Speaker 5: locate you right where you are. Let it locate you.
- 1:46:37Speaker 5: Let it give you a standing. Male and female.
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: Doesn't matter. The same Lord.
- 1:46:45Speaker 5: Who called on his man servant. And placed oil upon
- 1:46:49Speaker 5: his life. According to Psalms 89, 20 and 21. I
- 1:46:53Speaker 5: have found David my servant. And he says, with my
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: holy oil I have anointed him. I'm praying for you
- 1:46:59Speaker 5: in the name of Jesus. That the grace that God
- 1:47:01Speaker 5: has placed upon his servant. May that grace rest upon you.
- 1:47:05Speaker 5: In the name of Jesus. Please sit down. Let me
- 1:47:07Speaker 5: give you the last key. The last key. That fights envy.
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: The final nail. That buries envy. In the life of anyone.
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: Is to walk. In love. Walk. In love. Colossians chapter 3. Walk.
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: In love. Colossians 3.
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: 14 and 15.
- 1:47:38Speaker 5: This will be our final scripture. In dealing with the
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: spirit of envy. Above all these.
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: Read the first four words please. One, two, go. One
- 1:48:02Speaker 2: more time. And above your praying. Above your fasting. Above
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: your contending for growth. above all this, it.
- 1:48:18Speaker 5: Says, put on love KJV says charity but the word
- 1:48:23Speaker 5: there is love and the Bible calls it the bond.
- 1:48:26Speaker 2: Of perfection.
- 1:48:30Speaker 5: It brings perfection to everything you have put on love
- 1:48:37Speaker 5: put on love Put on love. When it has to
- 1:48:44Speaker 5: do with love, the only way you get it is
- 1:48:47Speaker 5: by asking the Holy Spirit to pour it in you.
- 1:48:50Speaker 5: The love of God was shed abroad in our hearts
- 1:48:53Speaker 5: by the Holy Spirit. So when you find yourself walking
- 1:48:57Speaker 5: in hate, bitterness, envy, you go to God in the
- 1:49:04Speaker 5: place of prayer. Father, your love Is not richly established
- 1:49:09Speaker 5: in my life. Take away this spirit of hate. Let
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: me be able to celebrate the victory. Let me celebrate
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: your hand upon others. And be comfortable with it.
- 1:49:21Speaker 2: You see. Love.
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: Did you know that's the meaning of my name? What
- 1:49:25Speaker 5: a good name. Selman means a way to love. Way
- 1:49:33Speaker 5: to love. You'll never see me fight anybody's ministry, fight anybody's.
- 1:49:44Speaker 5: If I have a problem with you, I pray for
- 1:49:46Speaker 5: you from a distance and wish you well.
- 1:49:51Speaker 2: You see that?
- 1:49:53Speaker 5: Never get yourself in a position where you become the
- 1:49:57Speaker 5: reason for the pain of others.
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: It is not noble.
- 1:50:01Speaker 5: It is not noble that a preacher is crying courtesy you.
- 1:50:07Speaker 5: And you sleep sound and wake up. That an individual
- 1:50:10Speaker 5: is going down. You close the business door. Because of
- 1:50:14Speaker 5: mismanagement of this spirit. This cancer.
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: And it is amazing how many people will go behind.
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: And stab you. Then call other people and say you
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: are bleeding.
- 1:50:27Speaker 5: Say this man is bleeding. I mean who would be
- 1:50:29Speaker 5: so wicked to cause this man to bleed. And then
- 1:50:32Speaker 5: they see the evidence of the blood on your own hands.
- 1:50:36Speaker 5: Walking in love. I've seen God do more in my
- 1:50:43Speaker 5: life because of love than because of prayer. I know
- 1:50:47Speaker 5: you will not believe this. I'm a man of prayer
- 1:50:49Speaker 5: by the grace of God. I'm a man of the
- 1:50:51Speaker 5: word by the grace of God. But there are realms
- 1:50:55Speaker 5: that even prayer warriors cannot get there. The Bible says
- 1:50:59Speaker 5: no eye has seen. No ear has heard. Neither has
- 1:51:05Speaker 5: it entered into the heart of man. The things that
- 1:51:08Speaker 5: God has in store for lovers. This one is a
- 1:51:13Speaker 5: realm of love. You can pray from a corrupt heart.
- 1:51:18Speaker 5: You can fast from a corrupt heart. Envy can be
- 1:51:22Speaker 5: the sponsor of your fasting. Because you want it to.
- 1:51:26Speaker 5: So that nobody disrespects you. Unfortunately God vets the heart
- 1:51:30Speaker 5: of men. Before he extends his hands to them.
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: But when you have love, that you wish everyone well.
- 1:51:39Speaker 5: When you hear that this person's company has a problem,
- 1:51:42Speaker 5: you wish them well. Even if they hate you, you
- 1:51:44Speaker 5: wish them well and leave them in peace. You see,
- 1:51:47Speaker 5: you have secured yourself. Most people become vulnerable to demonic
- 1:51:52Speaker 5: attacks because they do not know the power of walking
- 1:51:55Speaker 5: in love.
- 1:51:56Speaker 2: I learned early that love never fails. Love never never fails.
- 1:52:06Speaker 5: Now, you will look like a fool while you are
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: practicing love. Many people will take you for granted like
- 1:52:12Speaker 5: they've taken many of you for granted. But can I
- 1:52:15Speaker 5: tell you, at the end, love always wins. You know
- 1:52:18Speaker 5: what killed, death, defeated, sin? It was not power.
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: It was love. Even what power could not do, love did.
- 1:52:26Speaker 2: There remained these three.
- 1:52:28Speaker 5: Faith that moves mountains. Hope that make it not a shame.
- 1:52:33Speaker 5: And love, the Bible says, the greatest is love. When
- 1:52:38Speaker 5: he was done talking about the gifts of the Spirit,
- 1:52:40Speaker 5: Reverend Julian, he mentioned all the gifts of the Spirit
- 1:52:44Speaker 5: in 1 Corinthians chapter 12.
- 1:52:46Speaker 2: He said, even with this, let me show you a
- 1:52:49Speaker 2: more excellent way.
- 1:52:51Speaker 5: Then he goes to chapter 13. A more excellent way
- 1:52:54Speaker 5: of preaching is to preach in love. A more excellent
- 1:52:58Speaker 5: way of doing business is to do business in love.
- 1:53:02Speaker 5: A more excellent way of counseling is to counsel in love.
- 1:53:06Speaker 5: A more excellent way of rebuking is to rebuke in love.
- 1:53:10Speaker 5: Once you take away the love factor, even if what
- 1:53:13Speaker 5: you are doing is right, it becomes destroyed.
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: Love.
- 1:53:22Speaker 5: Every time I come into this nation, I will celebrate
- 1:53:26Speaker 5: every man of God that I have the opportunity to meet.
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: Doesn't matter whether you are great. Doesn't matter whether you
- 1:53:33Speaker 2: are small.
- 1:53:34Speaker 5: Once you are called in the name of the Lord
- 1:53:36Speaker 5: and you are called to the service of the kingdom,
- 1:53:38Speaker 5: I honor you.
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: And even if you are not in ministry, the Bible says,
- 1:53:42Speaker 2: honor all men. Then it says, honor the king. Honor
- 1:53:47Speaker 2: all men.
- 1:53:48Speaker 5: If I find someone sweeping in front of me, I
- 1:53:50Speaker 5: will greet you with honor and respect.
- 1:53:52Speaker 2: I still remember where he took me from.
- 1:53:58Speaker 5: If I find you scrubbing the toilet for me to
- 1:54:01Speaker 5: make the room conducive, you are deserving of my honor.
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: You see that now? Men of God, listen.
- 1:54:08Speaker 5: Let me challenge us. And I'll wrap up with this.
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: There are many things that make me love your pastor.
- 1:54:20Speaker 5: His passion for God.
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: His diligence. That sense of innovation.
- 1:54:26Speaker 5: But in my opinion, the greatest thing about Reverend Julian
- 1:54:30Speaker 5: that has drawn me.
- 1:54:31Speaker 2: To him is the sincerity of his love. And I'm
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: saying this sincerely.
- 1:54:40Speaker 4: Hallelujah.
- 1:54:42Speaker 2: I'll be saying this for the first time. His mom
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: is here. I love the family.
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: You would think I've told myself I'm one of the
- 1:54:49Speaker 5: sons too. Mama did something the last time I came
- 1:54:53Speaker 5: that touched me. Mama brought a pen last year. I
- 1:55:04Speaker 5: still remember it's a golden pen. And this pen belonged
- 1:55:08Speaker 5: to Reverend Julian's father. And after Mama hugged me and
- 1:55:12Speaker 5: gave me a big kiss, she brought that pen as
- 1:55:14Speaker 5: a gift and gave it to me.
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: Thank you. I will honor her in life And even
- 1:55:26Speaker 2: the day she sees his face, she still deserves my honor.
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: Let me tell you this.
- 1:55:33Speaker 5: It is not always revelation and anointing that draws members.
- 1:55:38Speaker 2: Your love life is a greater witness.
- 1:55:41Speaker 5: It brings beauty and authenticity to your person. You can
- 1:55:45Speaker 5: have all the revelation you have and people will hate you.
- 1:55:49Speaker 5: And if a generation hates you, you will pay for it.
- 1:55:52Speaker 5: I tell you that in advance. If a generation decides
- 1:55:55Speaker 5: to hate you, That you do not secure favor with them.
- 1:55:59Speaker 2: It's not always about manifestations and power.
- 1:56:03Speaker 5: And good preaching. And business acumen. Sometimes it's about love.
- 1:56:08Speaker 5: The way you treat others.
- 1:56:10Speaker 2: The sincerity. The authenticity of your person.
- 1:56:17Speaker 5: I spotted her while I was here. And every time
- 1:56:21Speaker 5: I come I receive my dose of the hug for
- 1:56:22Speaker 5: the year. So my mom is going to give me
- 1:56:25Speaker 5: my own hug for the year.
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: Now I'm a man of God. When I'm done, I
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: receive the hug of a son. Hallelujah. And in that hug,
- 1:56:41Speaker 2: you see, are many things.
- 1:56:44Speaker 5: Virtue pouring from our heart. A mother who can raise.
- 1:56:49Speaker 2: A son like this should hug you.
- 1:56:56Speaker 5: I hope we are learning When I honor our fathers,
- 1:57:00Speaker 5: even the fathers in this land, it is because they
- 1:57:04Speaker 5: have given us the opportunity to learn from their scars
- 1:57:07Speaker 5: without experiencing their pain.
- 1:57:09Speaker 2: They are deserving of our honor. Let me challenge you.
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: Every young man in ministry here, anytime you see any
- 1:57:17Speaker 5: elderly person, particularly in ministry, swallow your pride and honor them.
- 1:57:24Speaker 5: I don't care what revelation you have. I don't care
- 1:57:27Speaker 5: how many churches and parishes honor them. Let's restore honor.
- 1:57:31Speaker 5: This is where both culture and spirituality meet. That honor,
- 1:57:36Speaker 5: even to elders, is noble.
- 1:57:40Speaker 2: My final words. Envy is a killer. Envy is a cancer.
- 1:57:46Speaker 2: Envy is a destroyer. But like I've taught you, use
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: these keys. Fight it. Do not allow this conference finish.
- 1:57:56Speaker 5: That unity in the spirit can never be attained with envy.
- 1:58:02Speaker 2: I celebrate my friend and brother. He celebrates me genuinely.
- 1:58:07Speaker 2: You see that now? Sincerely so. Sometimes he will just
- 1:58:10Speaker 2: send me a lovely text.
- 1:58:11Speaker 5: And I say oh dear. Look at this man. He
- 1:58:14Speaker 5: should be busy doing something else. And now he's sending
- 1:58:16Speaker 5: me a wonderful text. Can you be like that? Can
- 1:58:19Speaker 5: people be comfortable when they see you? Can they share
- 1:58:23Speaker 5: the good news of God's workings in their lives and
- 1:58:26Speaker 5: not say they made a mistake telling it to you?
- 1:58:28Speaker 5: Because your heart is so pungent that every time people
- 1:58:32Speaker 5: tell you anything good, they regret it later on. Because
- 1:58:35Speaker 5: there is a personality within you that fights everything God.
- 1:58:40Speaker 5: God placed it upon his servant. And he sent me here.
- 1:58:44Speaker 5: Alongside all the great vessels who have shared. And will
- 1:58:47Speaker 5: be sharing in the course of this conference. To charge you.
- 1:58:51Speaker 5: You can pray. You can fast. You can study. You
- 1:58:56Speaker 5: can be diligent. But if you do not deal with envy.
- 1:58:59Speaker 5: It becomes a cancer. That will become a mountain. And
- 1:59:03Speaker 5: it will stop you from going forward. Whilst you are seated.
- 1:59:06Speaker 5: Hold someone if you can. As far as your hands
- 1:59:08Speaker 5: can stretch. Your left hand. And you're right. Let the
- 1:59:12Speaker 5: healing process begin. Africa needs to be healed from envy.
- 1:59:20Speaker 5: We have killed ourselves by ourselves. The businessmen in Africa
- 1:59:25Speaker 5: did not die from others who came from other places.
- 1:59:29Speaker 5: We need to repent. We have killed our prophets. We
- 1:59:33Speaker 5: have killed our apostles. We have killed our missionaries. We
- 1:59:37Speaker 5: have killed the finest. They didn't go to battle. They
- 1:59:40Speaker 5: died at home.
- 1:59:42Speaker 2: We killed them because of their dreams. We killed them
- 1:59:45Speaker 2: because of envy.
- 1:59:46Speaker 5: There are many pastors here who maybe are even discouraged.
- 1:59:51Speaker 5: Where they thought they would get comfort. They were starved there.
- 1:59:55Speaker 5: Where they thought they would find love. There are many
- 1:59:58Speaker 5: homes today. When you hear that your brother is crying.
- 2:00:02Speaker 5: You begin to rejoice.
- 2:00:04Speaker 2: I told him. Rather than feeling that pain. Someone pray.
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: Lord we repent as a people. We repent as a continent.
- 2:00:12Speaker 2: We repent as a nation. Kenya you pray. Pray. Pray.
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: It's time to deal with the spirit of envy. Please pray.
- 2:00:30Speaker 2: You are speaking to yourself.
- 2:00:34Speaker 4: You are the one that we praise. You are the
- 2:00:41Speaker 4: one we adore. You give the healing.
- 2:00:47Speaker 2: And grace that our hearts always hunger for oh our
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: hearts always hung wonderful merciful save keep.
- 2:01:03Speaker 4: Praying precious redeemer and friend who would have thought that
- 2:01:12Speaker 4: a lamb.
- 2:01:14Speaker 5: Could rescue the souls of.
- 2:01:18Speaker 2: Men Oh, you rescue the soul.
- 2:01:26Speaker 4: You are the one that we praise. You are the
- 2:01:34Speaker 4: one we adore.
- 2:01:38Speaker 2: You give the healing and grace that our hearts.
- 2:01:44Speaker 5: Always hunger for. Father, I receive the grace to love.
- 2:01:57Speaker 5: To love my brother. To love my sister. To love
- 2:02:02Speaker 5: my fellow man of God. We may not agree in
- 2:02:05Speaker 5: everything doctrinally, but I still love. Our approach to ministry
- 2:02:10Speaker 5: may be different, but I still love. There may be
- 2:02:13Speaker 5: other character issues to correct in their lives, but I
- 2:02:16Speaker 5: still love. I still love. I still love. You never
- 2:02:22Speaker 5: win when you hate. You never win when you envy.
- 2:02:26Speaker 5: You never win when you resent. Even if you are right,
- 2:02:29Speaker 5: you will not win.
- 2:02:32Speaker 2: Take this moment. I'm wrapping up. Let it be from
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: the depth of your heart.
- 2:02:38Speaker 4: You give the healing and grace that our hearts always
- 2:02:45Speaker 4: hunger for.
- 2:02:57Speaker 5: Let me encourage everybody under the sound of my voice.
- 2:03:01Speaker 5: I want you to invite everybody you can find in Kenya.
- 2:03:05Speaker 2: Everybody.
- 2:03:07Speaker 5: There are people, whilst listening to me now, you know
- 2:03:10Speaker 5: they should hear this sermon. Please be sure that they
- 2:03:14Speaker 5: do not miss the other sessions. I know some of
- 2:03:16Speaker 5: you are not going anywhere. You are here, securing your seat.
- 2:03:20Speaker 5: But call someone, some preacher, some business person. Tell them
- 2:03:24Speaker 5: that God is dealing with issues here. Please be on
- 2:03:27Speaker 5: your way and let the refiners fire.
- 2:03:31Speaker 2: Do the purging. Do the inner working because it's time
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: for greater glory. The Lord bless you and we'll see
- 2:03:38Speaker 2: you in the evening.
