- 0:01Speaker 2: Mr.
- 0:01Speaker 1: New York.
- 0:02Speaker 3: Now three hours every weekday from 9 till noon on 710WOR.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Let's go to Bob in Florida.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Bob, how you doing?
- 0:17Speaker 4: Hello, Mark. Thank you for doing what you do. You know,
- 0:20Speaker 4: it's being widely not reported that the judges order to
- 0:25Speaker 4: return those propaganda organizations to the White House. is a
- 0:29Speaker 4: temporary restraining order. You can't find that in the news anywhere.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you can. That's how you know that. No, I
- 0:39Speaker 3: got an F of X.
- 0:40Speaker 2: You tell me which source.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Well, that's a new source. Anyway, it's a 14-day restraining order.
- 0:49Speaker 3: What that actually means, whatever they presented on that day
- 0:52Speaker 3: in court, the judge felt they had enough of a
- 0:55Speaker 3: case that it needed to be heard. So there's a
- 0:58Speaker 3: 14-day restraining order until the next court date where they
- 1:01Speaker 3: can really lay out their case. They have some kind
- 1:05Speaker 3: of a case. They're going to try First Amendment. It's
- 1:07Speaker 3: not really a First Amendment issue because they're not being silenced.
- 1:10Speaker 3: They can go on the air and say whatever they want.
- 1:13Speaker 3: It's about access to certain rooms in the White House.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Let's go to Ed in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Ed, how are
- 1:20Speaker 3: you doing?
- 1:22Speaker 1: Hey, good morning, Mark.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Thanks for taking my call.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I hope you're well.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Back to the I was thinking back in 78, 79
- 1:30Speaker 5: I took a job from Jefferson and every year they
- 1:33Speaker 5: made a big hullabaloo about I don't know if it
- 1:35Speaker 5: was Jefferson's down to Ridge on the 4th of July
- 1:38Speaker 5: but the African American descendants of Jefferson's birthday parade in
- 1:43Speaker 5: Charlottesville and I know the big stink of that your.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Phone is cracking up try us again it's not you
- 1:51Speaker 3: it's the phone line let's go to Jerry Greenwich, Connecticut
- 1:54Speaker 3: Jerry how you doing.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Very well, thank you, Mark. Thank you for taking my call.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Great show. Mark, there is three people that they killed.
- 2:04Speaker 6: The man, Goldberg, the four guys, the woman that killed
- 2:08Speaker 6: his kid, three kids, and Mangione that killed this guy.
- 2:13Speaker 6: They're still around. They should have been put in electric.
- 2:16Speaker 6: They're still around and they're wasting a lot of money
- 2:18Speaker 6: from the tax money, taxpayer money. Why did they do that?
- 2:22Speaker 2: The law is.
- 2:24Speaker 3: I know, you're living in a crazy era where criminals
- 2:27Speaker 3: are let loose, the victims get locked up, the Kathy Hochul... Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 3: there's Kathy Hochul, Cuomo, no bail, no jail, it's insane
- 2:38Speaker 3: kind of stuff. Harvey Weinstein's the only guy I have
- 2:42Speaker 3: put in jail by Alvin Bragg. And Bragg bragging about
- 2:45Speaker 3: it with the press conference. He's so proud he put
- 2:47Speaker 3: the criminals in jail, too. Let's go to Richard in Bayshore. Richard,
- 2:53Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 2:56Speaker 6: About Sally Hemings and Jefferson. I want to tell you
- 2:58Speaker 6: a little bit more about.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Call us back. See, it's the bottom two lines. I
- 3:03Speaker 1: don't know what it is. Those bottom two lines, everybody
- 3:06Speaker 1: gets distorted.
- 3:07Speaker 3: It's not you, it's our phone lines. Let's go to
- 3:10Speaker 3: Bill in Cranford. Bill, how you doing?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Hey, Mark.
- 3:15Speaker 7: Blakeman, the only criticism they seem to have about Blakeman
- 3:19Speaker 7: for governor is the fact that he's got a good
- 3:21Speaker 7: relationship with Trump.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 7: But then as governor of New York, to have a
- 3:25Speaker 7: good relationship with the president of the United States, it's
- 3:28Speaker 7: not exactly a bad thing.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Actually, you're right.
- 3:31Speaker 3: That's a good response. Blakeman should run ads saying she's
- 3:34Speaker 3: got no relationship with Trump. Trump loves me. I can
- 3:36Speaker 3: get money for New York. I can get all sorts
- 3:39Speaker 3: of federal help for New York whenever I need it.
- 3:40Speaker 1: That's a good thing.
- 3:41Speaker 3: You should bring that up a lot. Yeah, he should
- 3:45Speaker 3: respond to those ads. She's got no relationship with Trump,
- 3:48Speaker 3: can't get anything for us. I can get the federal money, grants, aid,
- 3:53Speaker 3: everything we need. Good idea. Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 3:58Speaker 3: how are you doing?
- 3:59Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark. Mark, I'm okay. When I heard yesterday
- 4:02Speaker 2: that this crony judge lifted the ban, the press ban
- 4:06Speaker 2: on the fake news organizations. I told my girlfriend, I says,
- 4:11Speaker 2: Trump should just give them access to the broom closet
- 4:15Speaker 2: in the hallway in the White House. Mark, how could
- 4:18Speaker 2: you forget? Today's, look on the calendar, today's not only 9-2-5,
- 4:23Speaker 2: today's Native American Day. It says it right on my calendar.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It's Native American Day.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It was Native American Day.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Right.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Mark, speaking of campaign contributions... A number of years ago,
- 4:41Speaker 2: in fact, I got to be at my bonnet from
- 4:45Speaker 2: listening to your show. I called up a congressperson, I'm
- 4:50Speaker 2: not going to mention their name, office that I had
- 4:53Speaker 2: a beef with. And when I called, I got some
- 4:56Speaker 2: secretary at first, and I said... Well, I want to
- 4:59Speaker 2: make a significant contribution.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Ah, see, that's the way to do it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: So, and then when I got the person in charge
- 5:07Speaker 2: of the money, then I let them know what was
- 5:11Speaker 2: all about the conversation. And none of it could be
- 5:15Speaker 2: traced because I used a burner phone. And before I
- 5:18Speaker 2: hung up, I said, by the way, two of my
- 5:21Speaker 2: friends right now are sitting in their car, not very
- 5:24Speaker 2: far from your office.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Vincent, you can't do that kind of stuff.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Well, I did it, Mark.
- 5:32Speaker 1: You're not supposed to do that.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Excuse me?
- 5:36Speaker 3: That's like when Vito showed up to see Tony Soprano
- 5:38Speaker 3: after hiding.
- 5:39Speaker 1: He goes, my brother's over there watching. What does that mean?
- 5:43Speaker 2: In the Sopranos when Tony Soprano's daughter's in the restaurant
- 5:49Speaker 2: and some other guy from one of the other gangs
- 5:53Speaker 2: said something disgusting to her. She goes home and she's
- 5:57Speaker 2: talking to Tony's wife and Tony sees that she's sad
- 6:02Speaker 2: and everything and then the daughter tells Tony Soprano what happened,
- 6:08Speaker 2: and Tony goes in the room. Well, you know the
- 6:11Speaker 2: rest of the story.
- 6:11Speaker 1: He beats the guy to a pulp. He knocks his
- 6:13Speaker 1: teeth out. It's awful. But, Vincent, in real life, you're
- 6:16Speaker 1: not supposed to do that.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Really?
- 6:19Speaker 3: Oh, look who I'm talking to. Look who I'm talking to. Well,
- 6:24Speaker 3: you know, you shouldn't do that. Maybe just a strongly
- 6:28Speaker 3: worded letter.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Well, what?
- 6:30Speaker 1: Look who I'm talking to. Anyway. Well, We got the point.
- 6:36Speaker 2: All right.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Vincent, try to behave.
- 6:38Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I will.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I'll try.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Stay out of trouble.
- 6:41Speaker 4: All right.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Best I can, Mark.
- 6:43Speaker 3: All right. Thanks for calling. Well, when we come back, oh,
- 6:48Speaker 3: Jackie the Joke Man, Jackie Martling. You know, Rodney, remember Dangerfields,
- 6:53Speaker 3: Rodney Dangerfields Club? We're going to talk about that in
- 6:56Speaker 3: a moment and other matters coming up on 710WOR.
