- 0:47Speaker 1: If you're listening to the Sports Shock Show, I'm the
- 0:49Speaker 1: Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you. As we
- 0:53Speaker 1: are kind of in this month of June. We are
- 0:56Speaker 1: on the twenty fifth day here it is Thursday. He
- 1:00Speaker 1: the sun is peeking out of which we haven't seen
- 1:03Speaker 1: a lot of the sun here in atlant has been
- 1:06Speaker 1: raining a lot, but it looks like we're gonna get
- 1:09Speaker 1: some warm weather headed into July, into the fourth of July,
- 1:15Speaker 1: and then everybody will complain about that. Dude, are you
- 1:21Speaker 1: just unsatisfied with life? A lot of people, come on you,
- 1:27Speaker 1: Greg Big Kenny b aproducer, people have an issue with
- 1:31Speaker 1: Everyone is cold, it's too cold, and this is too
- 1:35Speaker 1: that it's the hot season. Get ready, pull out your shorts,
- 1:41Speaker 1: your short sleeve. Stop putting on. If you of my color,
- 1:45Speaker 1: stop putting on all that lotion, that'll help you. I
- 1:49Speaker 1: promise you. If you stop putting on all that lotion,
- 1:53Speaker 1: you will stop doing all that sweat and you might
- 1:57Speaker 1: have to increase you're taking. You know, bathing helps cool
- 2:01Speaker 1: down the body out there you watch, but stop all
- 2:04Speaker 1: that stuff out there. Put your son tanned lotion on.
- 2:07Speaker 1: For some of you who want to keep acting like
- 2:08Speaker 1: you're a full African American descent or whatever, some of
- 2:12Speaker 1: you do have some commandche grig in you from the
- 2:15Speaker 1: plains of Oklahoma, right, a quarter Cherokee. What was out there? No,
- 2:23Speaker 1: it's commanche for me. Oh okay, okay, that's the tribe. Okay, okay,
- 2:28Speaker 1: the command she's out there, a quarter commandchee over here.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I was watching something about the USA United States, and
- 2:34Speaker 1: they were saying that when the British did get here,
- 2:40Speaker 1: there was somewhat like fifty different languages here. You know
- 2:49Speaker 1: that they and they didn't really communicate how they show
- 2:54Speaker 1: us in the in cinema, especially as though any tribe
- 2:59Speaker 1: from anywhere spoke. So if I brought a seminole from
- 3:04Speaker 1: Florida and took him somewhere where the apache they just
- 3:08Speaker 1: start picking up conversation and that was not true. They
- 3:13Speaker 1: were they was expressing that they had like in what
- 3:16Speaker 1: they described like fifty family Dollecs, like they basically, I
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't understand anything you are saying. And I was. It
- 3:27Speaker 1: was fascinating because I know in my lifetime, everything I've been,
- 3:30Speaker 1: they always make it seem like all they have to
- 3:34Speaker 1: do is run it. There was one language, and that
- 3:37Speaker 1: is not true. So command you get Gregg in the building,
- 3:42Speaker 1: the bad producer in the building. Big Kenny, the funny
- 3:44Speaker 1: man himself is in the building. First off, the bat,
- 3:49Speaker 1: did any of you watch any of the draft? Yes? No, no, no,
- 3:55Speaker 1: So just you're Big Kenny says, you'll have to be
- 3:56Speaker 1: our draft expert. Yes, I will.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Now now for disclosure, sports Hack, I got any and
- 4:03Speaker 6: all information you need that's necessary related to the twenty
- 4:07Speaker 6: twenty six NBA.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Draft up to pick three, and I ain't got nothing
- 4:15Speaker 1: nothing to that. I don't just be.
- 4:16Speaker 6: Real with you, I'm saying, because you can put the
- 4:18Speaker 6: weight on me, I don't want more than the rest
- 4:21Speaker 6: of that.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And that's three more yes then what y'all got?
- 4:24Speaker 6: And I just but I didn't want the listeners to
- 4:26Speaker 6: have their expectations to vaulty like and then they picked
- 4:30Speaker 6: twenty seven. You know, now, I got that, I got
- 4:33Speaker 6: one through three and I checked out.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Okay, then, okay. I think the the NBA draft, as
- 4:40Speaker 1: I spoke about, they turned it into two nights. This
- 4:43Speaker 1: is just something I think they're trying to pull away
- 4:47Speaker 1: from the NFL. The NFL does round one, and then
- 4:52Speaker 1: the next day they do about three rounds, and then
- 4:56Speaker 1: the last day, and I'm quite sure the ratings each
- 4:59Speaker 1: and every day they continue to go down.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Why you say it like that, Why you say the
- 5:04Speaker 6: ratings like that? Because what you said it like you
- 5:07Speaker 6: don't believe in them.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Because after like I said, with the NBA, most people
- 5:13Speaker 1: are looking for the lottery pick. In the NFL, well,
- 5:18Speaker 1: nobody basically knows even when Major League Baseball drafts. We
- 5:23Speaker 1: don't know when the hockey drafts. Not only don't we
- 5:26Speaker 1: know when they take place, we don't even know the
- 5:29Speaker 1: people that are in them half the time never and
- 5:32Speaker 1: in most sports it starts becoming after the first or
- 5:37Speaker 1: second round. In football, people start looking for particular players.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And with the advent of technology, I don't have to
- 5:46Speaker 1: sit and I can just hit refresh until the guy
- 5:51Speaker 1: I want in the fifth round. I don't have to
- 5:53Speaker 1: why just keep I go, do whatever I want to do.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It's nothing I have to be stationary. I don't have
- 5:58Speaker 1: to actually tune in to. I just want to know
- 6:01Speaker 1: where the player from Southern miss is going, is going
- 6:05Speaker 1: right a little? And that's it. And that's why I.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Can even set it now to an alert. When this
- 6:12Speaker 6: player goes, I get a text message of where they go.
- 6:16Speaker 1: That's how advanced it is now. So big Kenny got
- 6:19Speaker 1: the first three picks. Uh Manchie Gregg bad producer. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: didn't watch any of the coverage. And that was the
- 6:27Speaker 1: NBA Draft. They didn't have a name other than Cam
- 6:31Speaker 1: Boozer because first and foremost, he's the son of a
- 6:39Speaker 1: top ranked basketball player. Him and his brother went to
- 6:42Speaker 1: the same college. There was a storyline that had been
- 6:44Speaker 1: fed to us for years. He went to the third
- 6:48Speaker 1: Uh he went third in the draft to anybody have that?
- 6:54Speaker 1: Wait the Chicago Bulls. No, the Bulls went the The
- 7:00Speaker 1: Bulls had the force fourth pick.
- 7:02Speaker 7: They took Caleb Wilson and I was and you know
- 7:05Speaker 7: that because Caleb went it's a tar hill exactly.
- 7:08Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to The Wizards had the first
- 7:11Speaker 1: pick the Jazz or second man.
- 7:22Speaker 7: Man, what kind of when Cam went to the Memphis No, yeah,
- 7:25Speaker 7: he went to the Grizzlies.
- 7:26Speaker 1: He did you Cam? Yeah, he went to Memphis Grizzly.
- 7:29Speaker 6: And the only reason I remember that is because he
- 7:32Speaker 6: went to the place that Lebron was mad about. Is
- 7:34Speaker 6: how I made the connection is once Lebron said that,
- 7:37Speaker 6: everybody started jumping on and piling on, like Memphis isn't
- 7:41Speaker 6: a place to go. And now the only person that
- 7:43Speaker 6: anybody knows in this draft is.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Going to that team. Oh, I knew John Moran was there,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and when I saw it, I was wondering, we haven't
- 7:53Speaker 1: heard much about the trading of John Morant.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Yeah, and he said that he really likes Memphis, he
- 7:59Speaker 7: wants It makes me think that he really does like Memphis.
- 8:02Speaker 7: Because his name had come up, LaMelo Ball, names came up,
- 8:06Speaker 7: a couple of other names, but like as you stated
- 8:08Speaker 7: his name, and then they made they made an acquisition
- 8:11Speaker 7: also a couple of Ball and a couple of other players,
- 8:13Speaker 7: a guy from young Man from Detroit.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Name slipped my mind.
- 8:16Speaker 7: But the Grizzlies they feel like had a great draft
- 8:21Speaker 7: along with our Hawks.
- 8:25Speaker 1: So you did watch the draft? I did the refresh and.
- 8:29Speaker 7: Then I knew when we got Vasar tar Hill is
- 8:32Speaker 7: gonna be in uh uh in Atlanta, the big guy.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Mm hmm. So that was half true. That was kind
- 8:41Speaker 1: of half.
- 8:42Speaker 7: You said that I watched. I didn't watch. I refreshed
- 8:44Speaker 7: on they.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I did you feel like the Grizzlies and
- 8:49Speaker 1: the Hawks had great drafts? I think so. I remember
- 8:52Speaker 1: you said that when we got Trey Young. No, no, no, no,
- 8:55Speaker 1: I didn't want not remember recorded. We can go back
- 9:00Speaker 1: and for Body Miller wants everybody to know that the
- 9:05Speaker 1: drugs that were in the car with him was not his.
- 9:09Speaker 1: When I saw this, I wanted to ask you, three guys,
- 9:13Speaker 1: when when you hear statements like this, and we always
- 9:18Speaker 1: hear them, what would you say the percentage of the
- 9:23Speaker 1: person saying is truthfully like Body says. And I'll read
- 9:29Speaker 1: it before you give you time to answer. This is
- 9:32Speaker 1: Body Miller saying I was pulled over for accelerating while
- 9:38Speaker 1: passing another vehicle on a highway in Idaho. My friend
- 9:43Speaker 1: who was traveling with me, had a small amount of
- 9:45Speaker 1: cannabis and a cannabis pipe in his possession, which I
- 9:50Speaker 1: was unaware of. We fully cooperated with the officer. I
- 9:55Speaker 1: am hopeful the misdemeanor charges will be dropped once the
- 10:00Speaker 1: facts are reviewed. This is Olympic skier Body Miller, and
- 10:08Speaker 1: when I saw it, I was thinking, we always hear this.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Guys get pulled over in America. As one of the
- 10:16Speaker 1: things that have really really fallen off is the idea
- 10:22Speaker 1: of people being truthful. We have a court system where,
- 10:28Speaker 1: especially once you get a lawyer, everybody please not guilty.
- 10:34Speaker 1: They go and use the court to create a way
- 10:40Speaker 1: to work something out. So this is not how they
- 10:43Speaker 1: sold a society, say five hundred years ago, where a
- 10:47Speaker 1: man actually or a woman actually Well, what they sell
- 10:52Speaker 1: us that era is they were truthful about what and
- 11:00Speaker 1: how their word. Do you swear to tell the truth,
- 11:03Speaker 1: the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help
- 11:05Speaker 1: you God correct and as people as time has passed,
- 11:10Speaker 1: people really don't care about whether they are standing in
- 11:15Speaker 1: the righteousness of that promise, especially when they put the
- 11:18Speaker 1: hand on the Bible. That used to be forty years ago,
- 11:21Speaker 1: something that even kids were a fear of. We would
- 11:25Speaker 1: run and get the Bible, and that person would default
- 11:32Speaker 1: if you did that, because there was a stigma that
- 11:36Speaker 1: if you did it and you would be against God.
- 11:39Speaker 1: But since nobody really cares, everybody gets to court. And
- 11:44Speaker 1: this is why I wish society was where Body Miller.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It would be yes, these are my drugs, No, these
- 11:52Speaker 1: aren't my drugs, and basically from that point this could
- 11:56Speaker 1: be over because your word is your bomb. But that's
- 12:01Speaker 1: not true. So in this case, guys, just real quickly,
- 12:05Speaker 1: when you hear these kind of things as we go
- 12:08Speaker 1: to break, what percentage do you believe the person who says,
- 12:12Speaker 1: like a body Miller? What percentage would you say that
- 12:15Speaker 1: body Miller is telling the truth about the whole story,
- 12:20Speaker 1: not even knowing about the drug part, that the drugs
- 12:23Speaker 1: were not his.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Were not his, and he didn't even know that the
- 12:26Speaker 6: drugs were present, was the whole statement. To me, I
- 12:29Speaker 6: would say fifty to fifty. There are some people that
- 12:31Speaker 6: might not be my drugs, but come match a seventy
- 12:35Speaker 6: five percent chance he's lying only twenty five percent badbaduser.
- 12:40Speaker 7: I give him about sixty percent that he knew, so
- 12:46Speaker 7: forty percent of that he was Yeah, he knew.
- 12:50Speaker 6: Sixty and see that's why I tried to insert the nuance.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Maybe he actually knew, but to say they're not my
- 12:56Speaker 6: drugs may have been true.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Will be back? Were the Sports Shock Show right after.
- 13:00Speaker 8: News just at two of them alone doing their own.

- 15:40Speaker 14: taken their game to the next level.
- 15:43Speaker 1: What we're going to do now is go back. Welcome
- 16:06Speaker 1: back to this What Shop show. I'm this What Shock
- 16:08Speaker 1: Wayne Agandy, Good morning to you out there in listening land.
- 16:13Speaker 5: The crew is here.
- 16:14Speaker 1: We were discussing Body Miller, the Olympic skier who was
- 16:20Speaker 1: arrested in Idaho misdemeanor possession charge of marijuana and of
- 16:27Speaker 1: a pipe. He says that it was his friends and
- 16:33Speaker 1: he had no idea that the person had it on them.
- 16:39Speaker 1: He did, basically in his statement, admit that he was
- 16:44Speaker 1: accelerating past a driver and that's why he got pulled over.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And then the misdemeanor drug charges in Idaho. I don't
- 16:51Speaker 1: know Idaho statue on cannabis marijuana, Big Kenny fifty to fifty,
- 16:58Speaker 1: that body's telling the truth, command you, Greg seventy five
- 17:02Speaker 1: twenty five. He basically doubts that body Miller is telling
- 17:06Speaker 1: the truth. And the bad Producer of sixty forty basically
- 17:10Speaker 1: he doubts that body is telling the truth in that situation.
- 17:15Speaker 1: What I would ask you, guys, last little nugget, have
- 17:18Speaker 1: you ever been with someone who was in possession of
- 17:21Speaker 1: drugs and you didn't know.
- 17:25Speaker 6: I've been in a situation where I was on a comedian.
- 17:30Speaker 6: I was on a road trip. I'm on the road
- 17:32Speaker 6: doing comedy. There are three people on the show. The
- 17:36Speaker 6: host of the show said, everybody ride together.
- 17:38Speaker 1: He was very.
- 17:39Speaker 6: Specific, please don't bring drugs. This is at a place
- 17:42Speaker 6: where we can't be involved with any of that. It'll
- 17:45Speaker 6: ruin everything I've built. Halfway to the trip, which was
- 17:49Speaker 6: probably about eleven hours from Atlanta, the other comedian confides
- 17:55Speaker 6: in me, man I bought some weed.
- 17:58Speaker 1: What yeah, bruh?
- 18:00Speaker 6: And I said to him, look now, if we get
- 18:02Speaker 6: pulled over, now, I didn't tell the other guy. That
- 18:05Speaker 6: was my complicity. I didn't tell the man who asked
- 18:08Speaker 6: us not to bring the weed. But I did say
- 18:10Speaker 6: to my friend if we get pulled over, it's your
- 18:13Speaker 6: responsibility that you have to cop ownership of this weed.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Comand you, Greg, have you ever been in a situation
- 18:21Speaker 1: someone had drugs on them and you didn't know? No,
- 18:24Speaker 1: So you've always known when somebody had it on them? Yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 1: pretty much. No.
- 18:33Speaker 7: I always always know who got it, who got lit Rdie.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Well, I've been in cerevital situations, even going out of
- 18:40Speaker 1: the country, went on trips and land and people are
- 18:45Speaker 1: doing their drugs. They have not gone locally or picked
- 18:51Speaker 1: anything up from the concierge. So I have to give
- 18:55Speaker 1: body the benefit of the doubt because I have been
- 18:59Speaker 1: in that same situationuation on several occasions where I was
- 19:04Speaker 1: caught by surprise. So it's one thing different to go
- 19:09Speaker 1: somewhere and you know, somebody excuses themselves to go pick
- 19:14Speaker 1: something up. But obviously you must have brought that with
- 19:18Speaker 1: you got to the hotel. By the time the mixed
- 19:24Speaker 1: bag or whatever you gave me to bring you out
- 19:27Speaker 1: of my bag, I kind of bring you your toothbrush
- 19:29Speaker 1: or whatever. You are up there indulging in the drugs
- 19:33Speaker 1: that you must have brought so to sit here and
- 19:36Speaker 1: tell me that body could not have been in a
- 19:39Speaker 1: car with somebody, as he said, with a small amount
- 19:42Speaker 1: of cannabis and a pipe in their pocket. It's just
- 19:46Speaker 1: like you know, I've had to ask people before they
- 19:50Speaker 1: got in the car. But if I know, like they
- 19:54Speaker 1: carry a gun, right, people do bring guns around that
- 19:57Speaker 1: you don't know, and we don't. It's not like they
- 20:00Speaker 1: have they come in and say, hey, I have my
- 20:02Speaker 1: gun gun with me, right or anything. They just have
- 20:06Speaker 1: their gun and they doesn't don't let you know, and
- 20:12Speaker 1: until the moment arises, you might not even though they
- 20:17Speaker 1: always carry.
- 20:18Speaker 6: A gun exactly until they have to reveal that information.
- 20:22Speaker 6: And I was quick to say fifty to fifty because
- 20:25Speaker 6: of that situation where I was halfway into the trip
- 20:28Speaker 6: before I learned that guy that we travel which still
- 20:32Speaker 6: didn't know till this day that it happened, and we've
- 20:36Speaker 6: all been in a car with a small amount of
- 20:38Speaker 6: marijuana and a pipe in our pocket?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Am I right? Am? I right?
- 20:42Speaker 13: No?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Am I right? No? I don't do drugs, so I
- 20:46Speaker 1: would never have that on me. And sometimes you find
- 20:52Speaker 1: out a lot of things, but a lot of things
- 20:53Speaker 1: people will keep front you don't even know people do drugs,
- 20:57Speaker 1: right until one day you see that they do drugs.
- 21:02Speaker 1: They don't know. You don't know. People smoke cigarettes sometimes
- 21:05Speaker 1: until someday out of somewhere they had one. You just
- 21:10Speaker 1: happened to walk around the corner and they out there
- 21:14Speaker 1: having one or sharing one. And that's a lot of
- 21:17Speaker 1: times when they get exposed where they have, they see
- 21:20Speaker 1: somebody else smoking a cigarette, right, and then they go
- 21:22Speaker 1: get in it's oh, you smoke cigarettes, but so body.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I'm like, big, Kenny, I have to go fifty to
- 21:29Speaker 1: fifty that this guy or a woman could have got
- 21:35Speaker 1: in your car and you not know. But and I
- 21:42Speaker 1: said that because think about it, it's four of us
- 21:44Speaker 1: right here, two of us online and two of us
- 21:48Speaker 1: are line. That's fifty to.
- 21:49Speaker 6: Fifty's that's one definition of fifty to fifty, sir. And
- 21:54Speaker 6: this is this is my thing, don't I was just
- 21:57Speaker 6: trying to factor in that a lot of times the
- 22:02Speaker 6: person in the car with body probably wasn't trying to
- 22:06Speaker 6: deliberately deceive them. They're so comfortable riding around with a
- 22:10Speaker 6: small amount of rare wanna and a.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Pipe that that just wasn't nothing.
- 22:14Speaker 6: They figured they had to offer up mostly as voluntary.
- 22:20Speaker 6: They said body had in his possession a some psychedelic mushrooms,
- 22:26Speaker 6: but they were from a dispensary. They were in a
- 22:28Speaker 6: dispensary bag, which makes that not illegal. It may have
- 22:33Speaker 6: been I don't know, some sort of misdemeanor attached to
- 22:36Speaker 6: that as well. But I'm thinking, you know, ain't no
- 22:39Speaker 6: big deal, just a little bit. And if it ain't
- 22:41Speaker 6: from a dispensary or just saying CBD and and they
- 22:46Speaker 6: keep it moving, they're just poured on.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I don't I don't know the nuances of that.
- 22:50Speaker 6: I'm what happened, right, And when we're talking about you
- 22:56Speaker 6: didn't know? My point was I and deliberately trying to
- 23:01Speaker 6: deceive you and get you in trouble. I just forgot
- 23:04Speaker 6: or it ain't that big a deal with me. I
- 23:06Speaker 6: had this little bit of weed on me.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Austin Reeves Kyle Pitt's different signings here over the last
- 23:12Speaker 1: couple of days. Come back, we'll talk about the New
- 23:15Speaker 1: York Nicks and the situation with the person who's lost
- 23:20Speaker 1: their job over the celebration. We'll be back right after
- 23:25Speaker 1: this more the sports job.
- 23:28Speaker 15: Well that's up here.

- 23:54Speaker 16: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 23:59Speaker 16: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 24:02Speaker 16: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 24:06Speaker 16: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 24:09Speaker 16: phones and focus on the roads. Drive safe, everybody.

- 26:03Speaker 1: The DZO. What back this one shock shock? I'm this
- 26:41Speaker 1: one shock wing Gamy Good morning to you out there
- 26:44Speaker 1: and listening land my panel is it's just such a
- 26:47Speaker 1: colorful group. If you guys are I was able to
- 26:51Speaker 1: hang out with him, they just vose the bad producer
- 26:54Speaker 1: over here trying to educate us on how to get
- 26:58Speaker 1: around the crime. And when he said it, it just
- 27:02Speaker 1: reflects so many years that I've been sitting here knowing
- 27:05Speaker 1: him from the conception of this show. He's one of
- 27:10Speaker 1: the original members, and every time something criminal comes up,
- 27:13Speaker 1: he always is that conniving person who never lands on
- 27:20Speaker 1: how about just not doing the crime, or how about
- 27:24Speaker 1: being honorable and standing on the crime. His is always
- 27:28Speaker 1: the solution of how to get away with the crime,
- 27:33Speaker 1: the verbiage of how to get the law enforcement to
- 27:36Speaker 1: believe that you know which, I don't know why he's
- 27:41Speaker 1: advising me. I'm gonna be just as surprised as the
- 27:46Speaker 1: officer when he says, mister Gann, I'm gonna need you
- 27:50Speaker 1: to get out of the car. I see a couple
- 27:52Speaker 1: of ounces of weed on the explore I'm going to
- 27:56Speaker 1: be looking for demanding justice, missed. Officer, Please take me
- 28:00Speaker 1: down so we can get to the bottom of this. Sir,
- 28:03Speaker 1: this is preposterous. Let me put my hand, put my
- 28:06Speaker 1: hands in some handcuffs. I actually want to go with you, sir,
- 28:10Speaker 1: down here to the station. Let's go clear this up,
- 28:13Speaker 1: to get this clear. And I want to act because
- 28:15Speaker 1: I want this person prosecute me too, who would get
- 28:18Speaker 1: me roped me too to this I want to get
- 28:21Speaker 1: you in trouble. I'm hoping. When he says we finally
- 28:25Speaker 1: came put me in the system for a moment, I'm
- 28:29Speaker 1: okay riding in the system to get to the bottom.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Let me give you a list of people who have
- 28:33Speaker 1: driven my car because I need to get down because
- 28:37Speaker 1: I want this person who would put my reputation.
- 28:43Speaker 5: And mine.
- 28:46Speaker 1: On blast to put me in a situation. Well I
- 28:51Speaker 1: have to defend the law on something that I don't
- 28:54Speaker 1: because we are going to speak and I'm going to
- 28:58Speaker 1: help the police put you in jail. So you don't
- 29:05Speaker 1: want to do that with me, with sports jock and
- 29:08Speaker 1: sports jock, I tell you, that's why I'm gonna get
- 29:11Speaker 1: out the car and volunteer to go down to the station.
- 29:15Speaker 1: So you ain't got no problem with me. Let's go
- 29:18Speaker 1: find out who weed this is in my car, he said.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I fin I want to I want to put you
- 29:25Speaker 1: in jail now. I'm not gonna be trying to help
- 29:31Speaker 1: you out at all, because you know what, you didn't
- 29:33Speaker 1: consider me at all at all, and Sports you didn't
- 29:37Speaker 1: consider me, so I'm not gonna consider you.
- 29:41Speaker 6: I'm one hundred percent behind you, sports Jock, because I've
- 29:45Speaker 6: never committed a crime with anybody else that they weren't
- 29:49Speaker 6: one hundred percent complicity in. I'm not finna drag you
- 29:52Speaker 6: into something you don't know you walking into, and if
- 29:55Speaker 6: consequences come with it, you don't have to deal with that.
- 30:01Speaker 6: You should never have to go to jail because I
- 30:04Speaker 6: schemed on you.
- 30:05Speaker 1: That's not crime. That's manipulation. Criminals commit crime willingly and deliberately,
- 30:14Speaker 1: and everybody in on the plan.
- 30:16Speaker 6: Our plan. Ain't that you don't know the plan. That's
- 30:19Speaker 6: that's never been part of it. And if that happens,
- 30:22Speaker 6: I've always been in favor of make them do their
- 30:25Speaker 6: time because they were willing to put everything you worked
- 30:30Speaker 6: for at risk for their own benefit.
- 30:33Speaker 7: And that ain't a friend. And if it's not, really,
- 30:37Speaker 7: you know that you're gonna have to be the one
- 30:39Speaker 7: except that that.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Your boy already that go, your boy, I'm the driver.
- 30:45Speaker 6: You know you got then that's it. If we on
- 30:49Speaker 6: the road, you driving, you and we trafficking.
- 30:54Speaker 1: You catch the charge, I'm gonna come get you out.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We trafficking. We together, but I'm gonna be missing everything. No, sir,
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I'm not doing what you wouldn't
- 31:06Speaker 1: it be like if you caught together, Like it's there's
- 31:11Speaker 1: a there's a chance that they wouldn't that you're not
- 31:14Speaker 1: gonna it's not gonna be enough to just say, oh,
- 31:16Speaker 1: it's not mine. If y'all trafficked together, y'all get caught together,
- 31:21Speaker 1: y'all going to jail together.
- 31:23Speaker 6: But listen, sir, how many times have you how many
- 31:28Speaker 6: times have you been pulled over on the side of
- 31:30Speaker 6: the road and it's been you and another person in
- 31:32Speaker 6: drugs in the car.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I don't care who claim it. Everybody go everybody.
- 31:37Speaker 7: Because I don't see people say it's mine or it's
- 31:40Speaker 7: mine a I'm've seen it happen.
- 31:43Speaker 1: You are he that's someone stepping up to say it's mine. Yeah,
- 31:47Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. You're gonna step up. That's your job.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I'm saying. As the rock after weed, if you in
- 31:52Speaker 1: the seat.
- 31:54Speaker 6: If the weed is under the seat, and it's a
- 31:56Speaker 6: small amount, you can say it's mine. They didn't know
- 32:00Speaker 6: that's a misdemeanor. They'll let you handle that. Four bricks
- 32:04Speaker 6: in the trunk. Everybody going down.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but I'm not. I wasn't. We're talking about
- 32:11Speaker 1: let's let's slow down with the he talking at the
- 32:15Speaker 1: same time, the bickering conversation.
- 32:18Speaker 7: Go ahead on with your I was just gonna tell him,
- 32:20Speaker 7: now come on now beginning.
- 32:22Speaker 1: You know, I'm just saying, I ain't talking about brother.
- 32:24Speaker 7: I'm saying, if it's we're riding up to Myrtle Beach,
- 32:29Speaker 7: go ahead and take that, and I'm gonna come get
- 32:31Speaker 7: you in an hour or two.
- 32:32Speaker 1: We're gonna go think so we keep it moving or
- 32:35Speaker 1: or I don't. I don't understand anything. He just said.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Take that.
- 32:41Speaker 6: Basically, we're on the road together. There's a small amount
- 32:46Speaker 6: of marijuana, and we both know about it. But because
- 32:49Speaker 6: he driving the car, it should be upon me, as
- 32:52Speaker 6: the passenger to take the charges and absolve him of
- 32:56Speaker 6: any responsibility. Now he's smoking. He pitched in on it.
- 33:00Speaker 6: He know I got the half ounce. I just got
- 33:03Speaker 6: it in my hands because I'm rolling because he driving. Now,
- 33:06Speaker 6: when we get pulled over. He wants the cops to
- 33:09Speaker 6: do the body miller thing and believe that I didn't
- 33:12Speaker 6: have any idea what was going on. Yeah, the car
- 33:15Speaker 6: kind of smell like wet, but I ain't got nothing
- 33:16Speaker 6: to do with that either. And he needs to go
- 33:19Speaker 6: to jail by himself. And then because he's driving, he's
- 33:23Speaker 6: wanting me to be convinced that he gonna come get
- 33:25Speaker 6: me later. But I still got to go to court,
- 33:28Speaker 6: I still got to pay the fines. I still got
- 33:30Speaker 6: to possibly due to jail time. But because he was driving,
- 33:34Speaker 6: he has no responsibility to go to jail.
- 33:37Speaker 1: So back to my original point when I started this segment,
- 33:41Speaker 1: sitting with bad producer for all these years, he has
- 33:44Speaker 1: a way of that he's gonna get out of his
- 33:49Speaker 1: responsibility every time. Every time JP Morgan Chase executive fire
- 33:54Speaker 1: for dumping garbage on the side walk stealing a trash
- 33:58Speaker 1: receptacle during the Knicks Pearl raid. This is something that
- 34:02Speaker 1: went viral. A lot of people laughing make jokes. I'm
- 34:07Speaker 1: quite sure to be in a lot of comedians skit.
- 34:11Speaker 1: When I did see the video, the young lady said
- 34:15Speaker 1: that she was going to keep it as a souveneer.
- 34:18Speaker 1: When I heard she got fired, I figure it was
- 34:20Speaker 1: more for dumping the stuff on the sidewalk. That shows
- 34:26Speaker 1: the character that someone like a JP Morgan would probably
- 34:29Speaker 1: if she had taken the trash went to another trash
- 34:32Speaker 1: can and poured it in there. I don't think she
- 34:35Speaker 1: would have been fired for taking the trash can. I
- 34:39Speaker 1: think it was the lack of principles to dump the
- 34:43Speaker 1: trash on the street that ended up, which is basically
- 34:49Speaker 1: five crime in New York. That is, that is a
- 34:52Speaker 1: she committed a crime literally, and of.
- 34:55Speaker 6: Course New York is so offended by crime that everybody
- 34:58Speaker 6: researched who this anonymous woman was and found out where
- 35:02Speaker 6: she worked and alerted JP Morgan chased and got her fight,
- 35:06Speaker 6: which is, you know, to me, a story in itself.
- 35:09Speaker 6: But I wanted to ask, we've seen in recent history
- 35:13Speaker 6: where because of some sort of championship celebration, people commit
- 35:17Speaker 6: crimes and it cost them their jobs. They get fine,
- 35:23Speaker 6: they get jail times, some of them banned from stadiums.
- 35:27Speaker 6: Have we seen anyone try and use the defense of
- 35:33Speaker 6: I need to get some help for substance abuse. I
- 35:38Speaker 6: got problems because we see that in sports and entertainment
- 35:43Speaker 6: all the time where someone dodger's accountability because oh man,
- 35:46Speaker 6: I just need some treatment.
- 35:49Speaker 1: I don't need to lose my job. I just need treatment,
- 35:51Speaker 1: needs to get dumping trash on the ground.
- 35:54Speaker 6: I'm saying the dumping trash on the ground was a
- 35:58Speaker 6: byproduct of my illness.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I wasn't thinking. But you haven't told me what the
- 36:01Speaker 1: illness is. Substance abuse. I was drunk. Oh, you got
- 36:05Speaker 1: a drug problem.
- 36:06Speaker 6: I got a drug problem. That's what it is, emotional
- 36:09Speaker 6: and emotional.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Getting around the drug test.
- 36:12Speaker 7: I was just about to ask we drug tested TP.
- 36:15Speaker 7: You passed, I passed the initials. We don't do rightdow,
- 36:18Speaker 7: I'm an alcoholic. I'm sorry. It ain't drugs.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I'm alcoholic. Well, it sounds like you're not sure.
- 36:24Speaker 6: That's because my emotional that's my emotional style. Is that. Yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 6: it's substance is in the emotional stuff. Yeah, man, that's it.
- 36:34Speaker 6: That what he said. That's what's wrong with me. I
- 36:36Speaker 6: don't need to lose my job. I'm talking to my union. Yeah,
- 36:39Speaker 6: I'm gonna call that one.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Won't show me show me evidence that you've been in
- 36:42Speaker 1: the AA.
- 36:44Speaker 6: No, that's what you're supposed to say was because no,
- 36:46Speaker 6: seein I ain't ain't I'm saying I'm going now, Yeah,
- 36:50Speaker 6: I'm going now this this helped me realize. Bruh, No,
- 36:55Speaker 6: I'm saying I ain't with yet. I'm going because this
- 36:57Speaker 6: incident was my what.
- 36:59Speaker 1: You haven't gone credibility? And so I'm sorry Angie, is
- 37:04Speaker 1: it Bayaz? Yes? Uh, you need to pack your stuff.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Security Walker to her. All on, man, mister big Chess
- 37:11Speaker 1: said it, and they let him go. They let mister
- 37:13Speaker 1: big Chess go to the thing. Mister big Chess does
- 37:16Speaker 1: not work here.
- 37:18Speaker 6: Oh come on, man, y'all ain't gonna get me the
- 37:21Speaker 6: mister big Chess treatment.
- 37:23Speaker 1: If you didn't know, you're in the wrong business anyway.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Mister big Chess works for uh non public traded company.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Oh JP Moore can chase be trading with people? Don't? Yes,
- 37:36Speaker 1: so the NFL is a private company, so they can.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Y'all gonn let me clean up security, Yeah, gonna let
- 37:42Speaker 6: me clean up my desk at least, man, I got
- 37:44Speaker 6: I got some in my desk. Ime on to get
- 37:46Speaker 6: I got a pipe in a smaller mounth marijuana. As
- 37:49Speaker 6: we go to break I keep asking you three to
- 37:51Speaker 6: come in. Tell me what is it with winning championships
- 37:57Speaker 6: that brings the criminal.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Out of people? What makes celebrating needs to be destructive?
- 38:09Speaker 1: Like what part of that goes along with celebration? Because
- 38:14Speaker 1: she did it like she was eating. You should have
- 38:16Speaker 1: seen the video. She did it like ah ain't nobody
- 38:19Speaker 1: is parade. So she makes her opportunity during the championship celebration,
- 38:24Speaker 1: like right after the game. She missed her.
- 38:26Speaker 6: Right and when she did it, she kind of looked
- 38:28Speaker 6: in the camera like, y'all see it, you don't even know.
- 38:30Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 38:47Speaker 9: Joh't goo away board of the Sports John Show with
- 38:50Speaker 9: Wayne Gandia.

- 40:55Speaker 1: Welcome back to this boy, Shock Shine, the spoy shock
- 40:58Speaker 1: Wayne Gandy story Here this morning, Lyons Cornerbackitarrian Arnold facing
- 41:07Speaker 1: what this report says up to life in prison for
- 41:11Speaker 1: allegedly orchestrating a kidnapping and robbery and Tampa back in February.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Mister Arnold surrendered to police on Wednesday. He is now
- 41:22Speaker 1: facing four counts of robbery with a firearm, four counts
- 41:27Speaker 1: of kidnapping, arm or terrorism. According to the Hillsboro County
- 41:32Speaker 1: States Attorney's Office, he scheduled for court today where he'll
- 41:40Speaker 1: formerly be charged to twenty three year old is accused
- 41:43Speaker 1: of coordinating and directing other codefendants in a case to
- 41:48Speaker 1: lure three men to an apartment where they were robbed, beaten,
- 41:54Speaker 1: and held at gun point. Interesting story in this situation,
- 42:01Speaker 1: young man making it to the NFL. You look at
- 42:06Speaker 1: a picture of Terran, he reminds me of my teammate
- 42:09Speaker 1: when I was a rookie, Darren Henley. Darryl Henley has
- 42:14Speaker 1: been in federal prison since nineteen ninety six, so thirty years.
- 42:24Speaker 1: And I didn't mispronounce nineteen ninety six. Darryl Henley. He
- 42:30Speaker 1: had that same he played cornerback. He had that same
- 42:33Speaker 1: unassuming clear eye. He would have never suspected that d
- 42:39Speaker 1: hen would be involved in what he was involved with.
- 42:44Speaker 1: I think last report I saw he is due to
- 42:47Speaker 1: be released in about five more years, so he would
- 42:55Speaker 1: be on served out of those forty years they gave him,
- 42:59Speaker 1: I think thirty, having thirty eight by then. But here, Terrian, what.
- 43:05Speaker 14: That was the.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Drug kingpinin right? Yes? Yeah, Darryl Henley and I ain't
- 43:11Speaker 1: judging because we didn't. We didn't all then you had
- 43:16Speaker 1: a judge, you tried to kill the judge and the prosecutor.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, I never got that deep into
- 43:23Speaker 1: the game. We didn't all track a little bit of drugs. Well,
- 43:26Speaker 1: I was living the stop.
- 43:27Speaker 6: But yeah, this dude, because I was thinking thirty years
- 43:30Speaker 6: just for drug kingpinning that used to you know, now
- 43:33Speaker 6: you pay a little taxes, you be out in ten,
- 43:35Speaker 6: but thirty years.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Yeah, he was, he was.
- 43:38Speaker 6: He was uh what do they call hudlum. Yeah, he
- 43:43Speaker 6: was a certified mobster type gangster, serious guy.
- 43:47Speaker 24: Uh.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Well, Honor Leslie robbed these guys of two hundred and
- 43:50Speaker 1: thirty excuse me, two hundred and fifty thousand dollars worth
- 43:53Speaker 1: of personal items, uh and a probably in Largo, Florida.
- 43:58Speaker 1: And now in these cases we see so many of
- 44:01Speaker 1: these cases, they inflate all this information and only for
- 44:07Speaker 1: us to find out a year from now it's been
- 44:12Speaker 1: watered down to some kind of room for pursuit or misdemeanor. Really,
- 44:22Speaker 1: he just let them borrow his car type situation, right,
- 44:27Speaker 1: And this is what this is why I guess for
- 44:30Speaker 1: me and and being on this side in the media,
- 44:34Speaker 1: I let things breathe because we set up the stories
- 44:38Speaker 1: like this for it just to be those kind of things.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Now that I've rented the place that they used, I
- 44:47Speaker 1: had nothing to do with it. I was I was
- 44:49Speaker 1: in another state. I just rented the place. How many
- 44:52Speaker 1: times the story is daily mail headline, They overstate everything.
- 44:57Speaker 1: So I wish I could just grab onto this and
- 44:59Speaker 1: be like, oh.
- 45:00Speaker 6: Okay, because the way you just described it, In my mind,
- 45:05Speaker 6: I see this gentleman telling some people orchestrating them, hey,
- 45:13Speaker 6: bring them here, and me and some other people are
- 45:17Speaker 6: lying in wait for them when they walk through the door.
- 45:20Speaker 6: We all take part in the physical abuse, the moving
- 45:25Speaker 6: them to places they didn't want to be by force,
- 45:27Speaker 6: the taking items from them and terrorizing them. So to me,
- 45:32Speaker 6: that makes me complicit in that crime. But for you
- 45:35Speaker 6: to be on some my name was on the contract
- 45:39Speaker 6: I had talked to one of the dudes twice before that.
- 45:42Speaker 6: That's how they usually draw us in to read the story.
- 45:46Speaker 6: But a lot of times those aren't the fact.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Well the lions say they are where the prosecutors are
- 45:51Speaker 1: claiming that Arrian Arnold orchestrated the plan in some kind
- 45:55Speaker 1: of retaliation. So I guess we just have to let
- 45:59Speaker 1: this work itself out before we can really wait in
- 46:03Speaker 1: on it, because it's something that's just happened here. It's
- 46:10Speaker 1: only twenty three basing a lot of time, and I
- 46:13Speaker 1: guess it will count on a lot of things. Even
- 46:16Speaker 1: the three guys that he working with now, and I
- 46:21Speaker 1: would love to one of them could have gotten busted,
- 46:24Speaker 1: and hey, I tell you what I got. Hey, you
- 46:27Speaker 1: let me go.
- 46:28Speaker 6: Who was the gentleman who because people would imagine and
- 46:33Speaker 6: a lot of people's conventional wisdom here NFL player and
- 46:37Speaker 6: think robbing somebody a two hundred and fift thousand dollars
- 46:40Speaker 6: is senseless, But who was.
- 46:42Speaker 1: The player that was it?
- 46:44Speaker 6: A basketball player that had his friends identify a dude
- 46:47Speaker 6: in a restaurant, then showed up at the restaurant later.
- 46:49Speaker 1: And beat the dude up. William McGinnis, William get right,
- 46:54Speaker 1: so it happens. We know that people are seeking retribution
- 46:57Speaker 1: and things like that. Regardless, I know you got you
- 47:00Speaker 1: know a lot of laws is kidnapping federal state, So
- 47:07Speaker 1: there is a state kidnapping charge. I thought kidnapping just
- 47:10Speaker 1: a flat out it's a kidnapping within the state. But
- 47:13Speaker 1: if you start taking across the state lines and with weapons,
- 47:16Speaker 1: it becomes okay. I just when I when you see kidnapping,
- 47:21Speaker 1: I had forgotten the weight of it. I didn't know
- 47:23Speaker 1: if that was a crime that was it's stamped it's
- 47:27Speaker 1: something federal. Yeah.
- 47:28Speaker 6: That well, because of nuances like weapons and how far
- 47:32Speaker 6: you take the person and if you actually knew that
- 47:35Speaker 6: person or something like that. They that's the law. It
- 47:37Speaker 6: used to be just making somebody do something, taking them
- 47:40Speaker 6: somewhere so they want to go.
- 47:41Speaker 1: So the federal if someone kidnapped me, the federal the
- 47:44Speaker 1: state law enforcement is the one who seeks to try
- 47:48Speaker 1: to get me back, not the federal. Yeah. Let that
- 47:53Speaker 1: across the Yeah, across the states. So long as I'm
- 47:56Speaker 1: still here in Georgia, it'll be the Georgia.
- 47:59Speaker 6: Well, and again if I if you if someone thinks
- 48:03Speaker 6: you've been abducted by somebody you don't know. The fans
- 48:06Speaker 6: get involved immediately if they think somehow that it's a
- 48:11Speaker 6: custody issue or domestic issue, then the local and state
- 48:16Speaker 6: police start to handle that first till they run out
- 48:18Speaker 6: of lead and have to reach out to the faith.
- 48:20Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this, and.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Don't go away.
- 48:37Speaker 9: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gambidias coming
- 48:40Speaker 9: up next.
- 48:42Speaker 20: You wanted to be cool, which led you to smoking,
- 48:45Speaker 20: which led to a pack a day. Then you met
- 48:48Speaker 20: that special someone, which led to starting a life for them,
- 48:52Speaker 20: which led to wanting to live longer, which led to quitting.
- 48:57Speaker 20: Then you heard you maybe at risk for lung cancer,
- 48:59Speaker 20: which led you to getting a low dose CT scan.
- 49:02Speaker 20: If you smoked, get scanned, talk to your doctor and

- 49:12Speaker 11: Talking about guns with others might not always feel comfortable,
- 49:15Speaker 11: but it could save a life. Here's a way to
- 49:17Speaker 11: start a conversation. Your family is going over to your
- 49:20Speaker 11: neighbor's home for dinner for the first time, how would
- 49:22Speaker 11: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home.
- 49:25Speaker 12: Hey, hey, we're so excited for tonight. Before we come over, though,
- 49:28Speaker 12: they ask if there are any unlocked guns in your home.
- 49:31Speaker 23: Our guns are stored securely locked in a safe that
- 49:34Speaker 23: the kids can't access.

- 49:50Speaker 25: Mom, we are so high up.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Hold my hand.
- 49:54Speaker 23: No, you hold my hand.

- 50:44Speaker 5: Now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 50:49Speaker 15: Center cord on sports news, gossip, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 51:00Speaker 27: Life to reality to life, back to reality to life
- 51:11Speaker 27: to reality.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Now, how the side you want me? Sevendy, Welcome back
- 51:31Speaker 1: to this one Shock show. I'm this boy shock Dwayne
- 51:33Speaker 1: Ganny nineteen eighty nine. What do you hear this song?
- 51:36Speaker 1: Come out? Yeah? Yeah, nineteen eighty nine. Every day freshman
- 51:43Speaker 1: year he played it. It played on repeat and we
- 51:50Speaker 1: locker room every time we went to practice in that
- 51:53Speaker 1: year and all that it was like the only song
- 51:56Speaker 1: that was playing however do you want it? And that
- 51:59Speaker 1: was however do you need it? That was the you know,
- 52:01Speaker 1: back to life every time we walked into that locker
- 52:04Speaker 1: room trying to get us going. I don't know who
- 52:07Speaker 1: was in charge of the music. You know, I'm just
- 52:09Speaker 1: a freshman, so I didn't have any power in the
- 52:11Speaker 1: locker room. But it's just like you brought back so
- 52:14Speaker 1: many memories with that come man, Shei, Greg, I appreciate it.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Bad producer. I keep telling you, Mant's just listening to you.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Stop get off of social Why can't you get off
- 52:25Speaker 1: social media? Because if you're over there absorbing the things
- 52:30Speaker 1: that you just shared with us about the young lady
- 52:32Speaker 1: from Angie Bayez and getting fired and she sent out apologies.
- 52:36Speaker 1: But you got people who's trying to coordinate how much
- 52:40Speaker 1: she made to why she did the act. Why do
- 52:43Speaker 1: you absorb that stuff at fifty seven years old? It's entertaining? No, no, no, no,
- 52:52Speaker 1: no no no, that's not entertainment.
- 52:54Speaker 6: Hello now, heloon now hello, No I'm saying now, I'm
- 52:57Speaker 6: saying and you know, personally, because we had this conversation.
- 53:02Speaker 6: All the time, I have a personal barrier with people
- 53:06Speaker 6: trying to tell other people exactly what something is to
- 53:09Speaker 6: but that man's mindset.
- 53:12Speaker 1: He's entertained.
- 53:13Speaker 6: He got to be what other reason would he do
- 53:15Speaker 6: this as often as he does it to the differwise.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Lone, loneliness, just feelings that he's not fully developed or
- 53:25Speaker 1: achieved projection. He doesn't have any kind of core desire
- 53:33Speaker 1: to grow.
- 53:35Speaker 6: There is a.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Knew or he would say, well he asked me, Well
- 53:41Speaker 1: how I would say that, not asking him? Absorbing something like.
- 53:46Speaker 6: That, right, and and again, when we have conversations like this,
- 53:52Speaker 6: I just always shave that with projection because I've met
- 53:57Speaker 6: people that I just knew were what you said. All
- 54:00Speaker 6: of that has to be true because it would make
- 54:02Speaker 6: sense otherwise. And then when you peel all the layers
- 54:05Speaker 6: and you know, just like.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I'm just sharing you that those are the statements that
- 54:11Speaker 1: there is a part of social media. I would like
- 54:13Speaker 1: to believe that if I watched it it would help
- 54:16Speaker 1: me grow. But the things that you guys tell me
- 54:20Speaker 1: that the statements basically people are going to have are
- 54:26Speaker 1: not growing the intelligence of a situation. It's pulling it down.
- 54:35Speaker 1: It's not growing. So I'm okay for comments of growth
- 54:39Speaker 1: or intrigue or to make me think to a higher level.
- 54:44Speaker 1: When I ask you for the loyal listeners and they
- 54:47Speaker 1: have that some of them their points make good and
- 54:50Speaker 1: I appreciate them for them, Yes we do, but I
- 54:53Speaker 1: wouldn't have you.
- 54:54Speaker 6: Read the ones that are like, don't make sense. That's
- 54:57Speaker 6: not taking us up, but level that. And again we've
- 55:02Speaker 6: discussed a lot of this time replacing a slow running
- 55:06Speaker 6: back with a slower but a slower running back, but
- 55:08Speaker 6: this time trying to get faster. All we're trying to
- 55:12Speaker 6: do is participate. Right now, we just want to share
- 55:15Speaker 6: our feelings and be entertained. We don't have to grow.
- 55:18Speaker 6: That's what That's what's wrong right now, is nobody wants
- 55:21Speaker 6: to grow. They just want to share and be a
- 55:23Speaker 6: part of something got even if it's a bad thing
- 55:28Speaker 6: or a detrimental thing. We just we don't want to
- 55:30Speaker 6: not be the only one not making a mistake. I'm
- 55:36Speaker 6: saying now, I'm saying that it's called fear of missing out.
- 55:40Speaker 6: Everybody's killing themselves trying a plank. But I'm finna take
- 55:43Speaker 6: my chance.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I'm not missing out on anything. That's what I have
- 55:46Speaker 1: to read. No, No, if I got to read ten
- 55:49Speaker 1: of those kind of comments before I get to a
- 55:52Speaker 1: good one, then that's not enough reward.
- 55:57Speaker 6: And to my point, that's that was all my point.
- 56:00Speaker 6: You are offended by it because you're a critical thinker.
- 56:02Speaker 6: This man spend thirty minutes doing it and laughing out
- 56:06Speaker 6: loud at the stuff he see and then want.
- 56:09Speaker 1: To share it with you and don't know why entertain
- 56:12Speaker 1: it ain't entertaining you.
- 56:13Speaker 6: I have people sending me stuff and go, man, this
- 56:16Speaker 6: is gonna make you roll out laughing, and I watch
- 56:19Speaker 6: it and go, this is the most ignorant thing I've
- 56:20Speaker 6: ever seen in my life. And then I just send
- 56:23Speaker 6: the laugh emoji back to my friend, because I don't
- 56:25Speaker 6: want to say to a man, you're the most ignorant
- 56:26Speaker 6: person out met in the last forty years.
- 56:30Speaker 1: So that's where we at got you. Well, more power
- 56:37Speaker 1: to you bad do so austin reasons, I said, with
- 56:39Speaker 1: the Lakers, it's going to stick around on a max
- 56:42Speaker 1: deal to stay there. The Atlanta Falcon signing their tight
- 56:46Speaker 1: end Kyle Pitts to a three year deal as well,
- 56:52Speaker 1: really a slow start to his career. Finally in that
- 56:56Speaker 1: contract year and some people are like that you put
- 56:58Speaker 1: him in that contract year, they follow us, they can
- 57:00Speaker 1: figure out how to play football. So hopefully he can
- 57:05Speaker 1: continue to grow the tight end position as we have
- 57:09Speaker 1: seen over the last couple of days, George Kittle and
- 57:12Speaker 1: the guys Travis Kelsey up in Nashville with the tight
- 57:18Speaker 1: end university. Now, I got to do some more research
- 57:22Speaker 1: on that. See if it's all just tight ends, which
- 57:25Speaker 1: is an interesting concept because you're talking about like one position,
- 57:31Speaker 1: but you would have more participation because they do have
- 57:34Speaker 1: just like quarterback things. But to have a quarterback anything,
- 57:38Speaker 1: you got to have receivers. Somebody got to here catch
- 57:42Speaker 1: the ball. So I wonder if they incorporated some kind
- 57:45Speaker 1: of quarterback camp with the tight ends to be able
- 57:49Speaker 1: to throw the ball. But great concept by those gentlemen
- 57:52Speaker 1: to put together in something they might can make into
- 57:54Speaker 1: a huge thing. The tight end position has become the
- 57:58Speaker 1: most intriguing position here over the last fifteen twenty years
- 58:02Speaker 1: is a very dominant position. It's starting to pay. Scale
- 58:06Speaker 1: is going up, but also the impact on the gang.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Defenses are having to find people, specifically finding linebackers and
- 58:15Speaker 1: safeties that can cover these tweiners, these kind of and
- 58:20Speaker 1: we saw one of two throughout our history. The seventies eighties,
- 58:25Speaker 1: tight ends were more blocking. The nineties came around and
- 58:30Speaker 1: guys like a Shinnon Sharp and Tony Gonzalez and Antonio
- 58:35Speaker 1: Gates started coming around where they're not really the big
- 58:40Speaker 1: tight end blocker, but they're not the little receiver. There's
- 58:45Speaker 1: speed that they have a step. It wasn't just the
- 58:48Speaker 1: bruiser anymore. And now every team is looking kind of
- 58:52Speaker 1: for that unicorn. As I said, guys are even getting drafted,
- 58:56Speaker 1: laid in the draft, or coming in in free agents
- 58:58Speaker 1: as former like power forwards from college teams. You know,
- 59:04Speaker 1: final guy is six to seven that's kept trying to
- 59:06Speaker 1: find another yah that's built. He's comfortable with the ball
- 59:10Speaker 1: and with the changes of the rules where you really
- 59:12Speaker 1: can't strike a blow on him anymore. Uh, it kind
- 59:15Speaker 1: of helps out. But Tighty end you Kyle Pitts is
- 59:18Speaker 1: here for the Falcons at least for the next three years.
- 59:21Speaker 1: I'm quite sure Tua, we'll appreciate a gud that's hidden
- 59:25Speaker 1: around sixty six six seven, uh and throwing the ball.
- 59:29Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 59:52Speaker 9: Don't Go Awayne Born of the Sports John Show with
- 59:55Speaker 9: Wayne Gamby, Yes.

- 59:59Speaker 23: Choosing to buy gun was not a decision I took lightly,
- 1:00:02Speaker 23: but with everything going on, I really wanted to feel
- 1:00:05Speaker 23: like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought about the
- 1:00:07Speaker 23: danger of an unlocked gun in my own home too.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Me aware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone needs

- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I'm doing I'm gonna go on the way you made
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Pill began. Welcome back to this one shot, Chum the spy, Shock,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Wayne Candy, good morning, tell you out there and listening
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: land command you, Greg Big Kenny, the funny man himself
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: and the bad producer in the studio on this beautiful
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Thursday in morning. We appreciate you tuning in, listening in
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and as always any comments please send him Big Kenny,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Bad Producer and greg Or keeping their eye out for
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: something we need to introduce from you to the show
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: on some of these topics. Big Tiger the announcer for
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: we were talking about Kyle Pitts. Big Tigger is the
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: voice announcer over for the Falcon Games. He is the
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: in house audio voice for the Hawks. The Hawks. He
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: has been on television hosting different shows throughout his career,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: but definitely entrenched into Atlanta Sports and seems like he's
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: gotten himself in some trouble and the best violent situation
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: where he's in order to stay away from his wife
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: and his kid, something that he says he adamantly denies.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Not a lot of information out of that I could read,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: but the Bad Producer said that he did see something
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: on his ring camera. I guess he's going to be
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: testifying you. You and Ticker's ring camera or no ring camera.
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: Yeah, well, I was gonna take you from I was
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: reading from the uh Fox five news here in Atlanta.
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: They had a report and they were reading uh uh
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: where they how Big Ticket initially got caught up because
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: of the ring camera in the office and the actual.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Altercation took place in front of the ring camera. It
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: wasn't on the door. It was actually they had a
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: ring camera in the office.
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: He went in started unplugging computers showing him and he
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: started calling the psycho and stuff and so. But he
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: adamly said that he was off the air for a
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: couple of days, then they bought him back. Then since
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: the arrest, he hasn't been back. But the ring camera.
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: It was just how lately ring cameras have been able
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: to help solve crimes. Police officers been able to if
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: you have a ring cameras your home or anything in
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: that manner, they will take that and to investigate. And
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: that's how he was. They were able to rearrest him.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: And I thought that was interesting that that. I thought
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: that's why the ring camera have become so popular. But
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: I didn't realize that some people have them set up
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: in their office in home. I thought most people, and
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: I guess it's to me. I have a different system
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: as far as outside, but it's not ring. But I
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: thought the ring camera is just something that they had
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: right there on the door.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: You hit your bail and did they did?
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: They use the specific name ring, but it's so they
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: say it was specific ring a ring camera, so they did.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Okay, so ring offers.
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: Now they used to be specifically doorbell cameras from what
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: I understand, but now since they've gotten so popular, they
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: expanded to home surveillance equipment and when possible that it's
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: part of they have like whole networks that will film
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: throughout your house and things like that.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Yeah, there's footage always refreshes or it's stored somewhere, depending
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: on what kind of account.
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: And I thought that it was interesting that the child
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: cruelty charges of thirteen year old son that was in
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: the house and he got they because he heard the
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: actual argument. He didn't see the argument the report detailed
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: that just because he heard them fussing. And that is
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: a Georgia state law. Now I wouldn't wear that either.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: If something you do related to domestic violence or any
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: crime is committed within the presence of a child, and
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: presence mean within sight or hearing distance, they think that
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: that that is traumatized to a child, and you will
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: be charged with child abuse, child endangerment, child terror. They
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: charged him cruelty, cruelty, whatever they can bring in the
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: parameters of that situation.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: They will do it if a child is present. JB.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Bicker Staff having an issue with Portland Trail Blazer Micah
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Norie's contract, calls his new contract, his new deal a
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: slap in the face to coaches. Commands you, Greg mc kinny, JB.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Bicker Staff coaches the Pistons. Yes, what they got to
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: do with the Portland Trailblazers, Well, because of what the
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: contract is. Like we've talked about with the new Blazer's owner,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: how he's cutting costs and trying different things. The new
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: coach just signed to a three year contract, but it
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: is a team option for years two and three, so
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: essentially it's a one year garanteed deal and then we'll
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: see after the one season. And j BI bicker Staff
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: thinks that's not JB. Bigger Staff is the Detroit Pistons
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: head coach. He's sticking up for what they have to
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: do with Portland. Well, Michael Norri can just not sign
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: the contract. Huh true? True, he's he's bigger Staff is
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: sticking it for Like, Oh, that's not fair to coaches,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Like who would take that? Well, Michael took the contract.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: What does that have to do with JB. Bicker Staff.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: They didn't force this contract on him. He negotiated this
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: him and his agent. This is Mike Lanoy's first head
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: coaching job in the NBA and he's fifty years old.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: It sounds like like well a lot of from JB.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Bickerstaff's perspective, coaches shouldn't take that kind of that kind
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: of it's not It's not fair to Micah Noriri to
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: whear like you base it's a one year Let me
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: make sure I got this right. Davey Bickerstaff is the
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: head coach of Detroit. First, he doesn't work for the
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Portland Trailblazer. No, there was a contract negotiated between the
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Trailblazer's organization and Michael Nory to be the head coach.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Corny and his agent decided to sign this deal. If
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: you have a problem with the contract, shouldn't JB. Bickerstaff
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: be calling Michael Norry and say you're messing it up
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: for coaches. Because I'm the owner, I'm supposed to be
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: trying to negotiate the best deal that my organization can have.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Is that what the Portland Trailblazer ownership is trying to do.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: He's trying to cut out things that have been put
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: in place in Portland that are taken away from his
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: bottom line? So why isn't his issue with Norri and
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: and I guess he would be with you would think
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: that if that was before this contractor is even signed
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: that because the coaches have a union just like the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: players do. What would he say they would have like
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: like they don't sign this, or you know, do you
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: you this is too much of a risk for you
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: to do or something. I don't know if anyone would
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: have advised him or something like that.
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: Has he ever come out on the other end of
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: the issue, like you have a coach that has a
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: team that is not producing. There just a horrible record,
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: and the coach gets fired, but the team still who's
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: that coach for the next eleven years? He doesn't seem
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: to be offended by that. So he's just trying to say,
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: Michael Nory, you need to hit them in their pockets
- 1:10:09Speaker 6: for as much as you can. I mean, this doesn't
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: sound like there's a mental or moral disconnect. He just
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: has a get to the bag type of well no, no,
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: it's not like like a get to the bad thing,
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: but it's to have more a little more security than
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: just one year.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: All the time. You don't see that with a coach
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: just essentially having a one year contract. Who it's a
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: lot of coaches wouldn't take that job. If it's like, okay,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: only got one year, then then maybe I'll get the
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: second and third year, right, And I understand that, But
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I'm saying, I don't know what Michael Norrey's NBA head
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: coaching history is. He hasn't been a He's okay, so
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I'm taking a risk on you, and you want me
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: to take a long term risk on you. I'm saying,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I'll give you one year. We can figure out if
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: we like each other. That's three hundred and sixty five
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: days in the NBA. We got eighty some games. We've
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: seen coaches cut who were doing decent in the middle
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: of a season. We've seen coaches fire and we still
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: got to pay you. We've seen coaches take their team
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: out lie the New York Knicks to what the semi finals,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: the finals and get fired and we still got money.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: We owe you.
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: He never came out and was like, oh, coaches ought
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: once they're fired, shouldn't get more pay.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: So now he's saying, no, man, that's a bad deal.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: You need more years. They need to we taking a
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: risk on each other. The bad producer mentioned it earlier,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: this is coming practice with the player. Yes really yeah,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: like yeah, guy signed to your deals and the second
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: year is an optional year for both the player and
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: the team. Sound like a good deal for me. For
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: the coaches too, So I would really like it's you know,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: you haven't You've seen it with players, just not with
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: coaches on that kind of similar contract. So that's so
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: with bigger steps saying like it doesn't seem fair because
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: now like the pressures on, like the Blazers better do something.
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: Has this young man, this was this young man on
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: the on the bigger staff's staff at one point in time,
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: any point of time for him to speak up.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I'm just wondering. Has he been come from the coaches
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: A lot of them, most of the coaches know each
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: other and they're going to stick up for each other
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: in this way. Well, a lot of coaches are former players,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: so he should understand it's.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: It's not even well this issue, okay, and I understand
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: that also this is this.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Is bigger staff issue with no he's signing a deal,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: which means he should have called Nori not the organization everybody,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: because we've talked about this Portland thing, right, yeah, we have.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I don't know what's with this idea of the status
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: quote everything going always be like it is. If I
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: come in and buy a team, I'm doing like this
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Portland owner. I don't want to pay the bills. I'm
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: doing like the Mavericks owner. I don't want to pay
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: the bills for the last man. The bills that I'm
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: gonna pay are gonna be the bills that I go
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: and bring a new approach. I think, just as far
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: as coaches go, it's I'm getting rid of some people.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I'm cutting some staff, the money I'm gonna spend because
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna come back to spending the money, but I'm
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: gonna be the one who's in charge for that part
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: of the game, not the last owner. That's the I thought,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: that's what corporate that's what businessmen did. Quick, quick pivot
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: back to the business of sports.
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: If you were the Detroit Pistons organization, now they just
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: went to the Eastern Conference, what was it semifinals?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Was Detroit Detroit? Yeah, and.
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: Now your coach talking about another team's deal with that
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: you worried about the wrong thing.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: JB. Bickerstaff, Ain't you got problems on your own now?
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: So he is the National Basketball Coaches Association president, which
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: I guess that's why he's wining in.
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: It because but as an organization, would you encourage him?
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: Hey man, why don't you worry about your job? Well,
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: he trying to keep his president's job. He was elected
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: at that position, so he's but that ain't he still
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: has to do that position. Ken, he's elected as the
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: president of the coaches, so he has to show face.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: And nor is a fifty two year old. This is
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: his first time being a head coach. He spent five
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: seasons with the timber Wolve. Sounds like he was okay
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: and a little long in the tooth and was going
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: to take this opportunity and okay with a win or
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: go home contract, And that could have been handled one
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: hundred percent in house. He didn't.
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: As the representative for coaches, he could have hand between
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: the league, that coach and that team.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: He didn't have to go to the media with That
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: was my point. We'll be back more to Sports Jock
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Show right after this Don't Go Away Board of the.

- 1:17:40Speaker 1: up on that with Welcome back to this one Shock show.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I'm this one shock Wayne Gang. A couple of birthdays
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: here going into the weekend. Dale Curry sixty two years old.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Be's you? Phillips is she's forty seven years old. La
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: La Anthony is forty four, Arianna grand Day is thirty three.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Aubrey Plaza is forty two, Jacob Elordie is twenty nine.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Mickey Williams is twenty two. Where is Mickey Williams the
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: basketball player? He's at Central Florida, Okay. Derek Jeter is
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: fifty two, Mike Vick is forty six. Immon Shumpert is
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: thirty six. And when I see Mike Vick, I wonder
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: why Bijon took number seven. I wonder why he took
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: number seven. When I saw that, I kept thinking, Wow,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: like you didn't you should have took another number. Because
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: the Atlanta base, until they see the name above the seven,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: they put that on Mike Vick. I think that's Mike Vick.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I think young Waiku war number seven too. Yeah, but
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I'm seeing that in their mind they see seven is
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Mike Vick. Yeah.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: So and do that do you think that some fan
- 1:19:04Speaker 6: see that as a disrespect of Mike Vick? How you
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: gonna come to Atlanta and try and be number seven?
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I hope they don't. That just showed a small minded
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I was talking about as far as marketing or you know,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: being in the shadow. You know, somebody in Dallas, he's
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: thirty three. They think Tony Joyce set right especially, you
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: know now they wouldn't. That part is, you know, but
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: kind of right in the her. You see b John
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Robinson with a number. You see him with his own
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: jersey on, and you think he put his name on
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the back of a VIC jersey. You know people would
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: do that, goot Falcons jersey and put Johnson on the back.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: But it's but it's like the number is not retired
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: and it's still in rotation. Like where's number eleven? They
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: do a wall of Yeah, but number eleven is not
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: number seven. To the city of Atlanta, he's a greater
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Falcon number eleven than number seven was because he's and
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: his whole career basically here and you know Jlio will
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: be going to the Hall of Fame in a couple
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: of years. But to this city he's MVP seven. He's seven,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: MVC all of the above, he's seven. Everything else is just.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: But I was just wondering that Aymon Shamper thirty six,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: and Sharp is fifty eight. Her is twenty nine. Toby
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: McGuire is fifty one. Chloe Kardashians forty two. What is
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: HER's first name? H No, it's not. It does to
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: start with htk jj Abrams is sixty. Vera Wang seventy seven.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Chris o'donald is fifty sixties. From that La the one
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: with ll cooj ll coo J's partner and in cis
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Los Angeles. Kobe watts Son better know this cat dirt.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: It's three three. That's your grandson. That's my grandson. Okay today, okay,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: three years old.
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: You got some some big surprises for him. He's on
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: vacation with his paternal grandparents.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: But when you get back, make sure you ten push
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: up just to give him ten push out, Yeah, tell
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: him to do TENH three, you better be pushing out fifteen.
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: What you're talking about? Three foot dollars? That was that
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: was them was that was zero to six months. You see,
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: we we ain't like that in my house.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: And Miss Polly Johnson better known to Big Kenny is Mama.
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: Mama, because you know I didn't use your first name, Mama.
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: They made me say that, but I wanted to give
- 1:21:46Speaker 6: miss her own duke own. She was she was poly
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: before she was mama, mama, yes you are, yes, best
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: leave that. Let me tell you something that's the being.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Gonna tell you about the days when she was just
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: poly you hit she might she tried to pick up
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: like all our mamas and try like I see the
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: pictures and her the wish was, yeah, is that you back?
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: When they was calling back, when they were calling her legs, Hey,
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: the chiling search he called the huck.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Hey, you're not supposed to be you know that? Yeah
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: that y'all already told you about it.
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: Everybody call her Grandma Pilot now eighty three years old,
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: eighty three for the blessing.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: It is a blessed, blessing. It is a blessing. Can
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: you not tell those?
- 1:22:34Speaker 7: Sometimes you can tell what the mamas with their sisters,
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: like you could tell like as you see them get older,
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: like man, y'all used to get in some trouble.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: See that's sports.
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: One of the greatest realizations I've had since my mother
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: moved in with me and my family was that my
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: mother ain't always been my mother.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: She's actually a whole person. That's why when you gave
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: me this and I said, what's your mama's name? Out?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: But I need your mom name.
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: The aunts I'm talking about. My mother and father were
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: childhood friends, so she hung out with his sisters and
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: they talk about, you know, man, we used to go
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: down and see the ice man Jerry Butler. I'm sure
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: that was a thing. But then they got a hey, hey,
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: they look over and see me ear hustling on y'all
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: scouts scouts.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was the sixth everybody, everybody, everybody had
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: a wib and they were waiting on Cash's clay to.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: Come out of them little zodiac Yeah, with a zodiac necklace. Yeah,
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: it went down back.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: In that time. You start looking at him different, he'd
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: be like, oh, well, y'all's a trip. No. I never
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: had the false glasses of humanity. We all are human,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: even the people that brought us here. Some people like
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to look and uh start with their parent as the parent,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: as though the first twenty twenty five years of their
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: life didn't exist. I don't know why we romance our
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: parents and actually hold them to some kind of charge.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: It had to be maybe maybe an unrealistic Yeah, some
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: standard of.
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: Life that I remember asked me once, like, man, if
- 1:24:14Speaker 6: your parents knew you acted the way you do would
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: they be shocked.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: And then I thought I had to get it from someplace.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: You got to get someone.
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: Maybe I didn't just straight super far off the tree.
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: I'm sure it came from somewhere. And in learning about
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: my parents that like that, and we all at least
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: three of us command she still won't claim. That little
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: seven year old that keeps standing by my mailbox every Monday.
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: Ask you about Gregory, miss press every time I pull
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: out to get breakfast. You wonder who is mister Gregory?
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: Who he is? Mister Gregory, little boy, y'all call him?
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Command you. I'm sorry, Well, what you eating, mister Gregory? Fu?
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: They say he my daddy, cause ain't no, he ain't
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: never claimed me. He ain't never claiming. It's okay, greg
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you don't claim and put him on your Insuran, tell
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: them to get it. Get the DNA test results and
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: see that he is wrong.
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: Dang, Jerry Springer, you're gonna do the dance. You're gonna
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: do the dance when child is not Big Kenny here
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: on the As we go into the weekends, Uh you said,
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: clock in, honey, nut, cheerio, and we'll be back more
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: than sports jock show right after.
- 1:25:39Speaker 9: This john't go, Wayne Born of the Sports John Show
- 1:25:55Speaker 9: with Wayne Gambidius coming up next, hurting the game were
- 1:25:59Speaker 9: tougher that feel exhausted.
- 1:26:01Speaker 8: We push on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: the bootstraps. But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough,
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: when stress gets to us and we need to talk
- 1:26:12Speaker 8: to someone about what we're really going through. So we're
- 1:26:16Speaker 8: going to reach out because sometimes mental health is not
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: a one person job?
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Is it? Love your Mind Today dot org? That's love
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: your Mind Today.
- 1:26:23Speaker 8: Dot org, brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health

- 1:26:30Speaker 1: We learned about this in school. Oh did you now? Okay?
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: What's first?
- 1:26:34Speaker 24: Smokey Bear said, too.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: First drown it with the bucket of water, then stir
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: it with the shovel.
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: Wow, you sound just like him.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: Then he said, if it's still warm, then do it again.
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: Where can I learn all this?
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: It's all on smokeybear dot com with other wildfire prevention tips,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: because only you can prevent wildfires.
- 1:26:54Speaker 18: Brought to you by the USDA for Service, your state forester,
- 1:26:56Speaker 18: and the head Council.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: But that do not to stop. And when going from
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: point I need you just, they say please don't always.
- 1:27:07Speaker 15: Sing with me, so that means that do not stop.
- 1:27:12Speaker 15: And when you going from.
- 1:27:14Speaker 18: Point I need you just, they say, please don't always
- 1:27:17Speaker 18: remember don't drive distracted.
- 1:27:20Speaker 25: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
- 1:27:22Speaker 25: Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the AD Council.
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: And now back to the Sports John Wayne.
- 1:27:32Speaker 15: Gandy Player's Lounge. You have been given full access to
- 1:27:40Speaker 15: the players lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: I always signed it's good for the case, so always
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: good for the gander.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: Oh sailah, Welcome back to this boy suck show. Uncle
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Charlie put that Jerry Curle juice down. I know, Uncle Charlie,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Jerry Curle was wet. What when she wait wait, hold on,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: hold on, it was wet.
- 1:28:28Speaker 26: He was.
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: Excuse me, say what boy? Hold on now, hold on,
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: hold on. I was just I was stop playing. I
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: was just working with playing with my uncle. Stopped playing
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: with Uncle Charlie talking about was wet. It was wet
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: back in eighty six when she was rocking.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: But you're talking about it is I was.
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: But he he got the the Johnson hair is what
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: they call it. So he never really used chemicals in it.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: He just put. He put a text right, had the
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: wedded little had hit it with some murrays and oh
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: he didn't put the whole.
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: No, just put and then throw it like that net
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: a boom boom, bounce on your shoulder a little bit
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: and then you put on that ready for the world
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: and get you a British accent.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Say what's good for the goose coment?
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: You?
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Greg is saying that the trade has happened in the
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: n b A involving LaMelo Ball, seeing him from Charlotte
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: to Minnesota and Naz Reid and a bunch of picks
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: to the Hornets in Charlotte. Interesting team now out in Minnesota.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: When you think about it, Uh, they already traded Julius
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Randall to the Brooklyn Nets. Now nas Reid, who was
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: definitely I think nas even won the six man award
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: here last year or the year before, a pivotal part.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: Now I don't know what the new ownership with the Timberwolves.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: They got to create a vacuum to pay Anthony Edwards.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: And remember Charlotte and Minnesota are still small market places
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: that if you're winning it seems that they're great, but
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: these seem to be business decisions. As we talked about
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: LaMelo ball now with Anthony Edwards, which I got to
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: think about that because that's interesting back court. I guess
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: this is an attempt to get Anthony ed Was to
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: be a true two guard and get him out of
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: and this is a team to get him out of
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: the situation where he's the point or give him that
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: ability that that's not his main role by combining him
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: the age those great together. Both of these players are
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: in their twenty three twenty five year range first two picks.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: But this it seems like with this trade of Julius
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: and Nas it sets up to be able to create
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: some money to give the ant man who could easily
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: want out of town. Thank you Sports Minnesota. They've lost
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: Kevin Love, they lost Kevin Garnett, Stephani, Marlberry, all those guys. Yeah,
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: when it was time for their come talking about when,
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: but when it was there, they traded called Anthony right
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: everybody else when it was time for them to go.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: They man up right, I really know. They traded Kevin Love.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: They okay, they traded kg They traded Wiggins, they traded Levine.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: So this is their temperament now. So I was going
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: to ask when we and maybe that's why they know
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: they need to create the money to give them Anthony
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Edwards and yeah, the algorithms. At least he wants to
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: stick it because because you got LaMelo as well, who
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: makes a lot of money. But they're trying to seem
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: like they're trying to create a dominant backcourt with those
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: two players.
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: And I was wanting to ask when we talk about trades,
- 1:32:17Speaker 6: and we've seen in recent years, I've become aware of
- 1:32:21Speaker 6: how not only does the front office and the coaching staff,
- 1:32:24Speaker 6: but they will consult with the marquee player.
- 1:32:28Speaker 14: Uh.
- 1:32:30Speaker 6: Sometimes we hear about that, sometimes we don't. Do you
- 1:32:33Speaker 6: think Anthony Edwards had some influence? And with what you
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: just presented to us, it kind of seems like even
- 1:32:40Speaker 6: if he didn't speak, that was his influence on the situation.
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: We are going to do what we can to keep
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: him because usually we've heard, you know, Lebron didn't want
- 1:32:50Speaker 6: this guy to come here, or there was some talk
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: about this guy didn't think they'd be a good fit here.
- 1:32:57Speaker 6: But Anthony Edwards, who was obviously the star in Minnesota,
- 1:33:01Speaker 6: hadn't been very vocal about if he wants to go
- 1:33:04Speaker 6: somewhere or who he feels like should be playing with him.
- 1:33:08Speaker 6: So is that a benefit to them or do you
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: think he is just doesn't have a voice like other
- 1:33:17Speaker 6: players have in Minnesota.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: No, I mean you're talking about the mouth of the
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: league almost. I think he definitely has a voice. I
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: think with Edwards, like a lot of superstars like him,
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: it's about whether he wants the max or he wants
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: to be somewhere els in Okay, giving up that ten
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: percent you know, of money that he would lose by
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: going somewhere else or whatever that percentage is. You know
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: where one team they make it so that one say
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: just using say two hundred million, but if you go
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: somewhere else, you can only get one seventy five. So
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: to me and guys like him, they just fall under
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: that situation. I want to take my one seventy five
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: and go to LA or Miami or joining somewhere else,
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: come back to Atlanta or something like that, or do
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: I want to just supermax myself and hope for the best.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: Right in Minnesota, I think that's where he is.
- 1:34:12Speaker 7: She had a question in Baptist No, I was just
- 1:34:14Speaker 7: when you were talking about that, it seemed like that's
- 1:34:16Speaker 7: Minnesota's blueprint, and I'm all as far as the trade,
- 1:34:21Speaker 7: I was just thinking back, Kevin McHale was there one
- 1:34:23Speaker 7: of their very early gms, and maybe he's implemented and
- 1:34:26Speaker 7: they still he's still around the organization, and he's a
- 1:34:29Speaker 7: smart enough player and former player in GM to see
- 1:34:33Speaker 7: when when it's we gotta do something, we got to
- 1:34:36Speaker 7: clean it up. But you see them do that a lot,
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: but it's not really helped them get over that hump
- 1:34:42Speaker 7: to get to the finals or that next level.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 1:34:45Speaker 7: I'm just wondering what what's the next move here besides
- 1:34:50Speaker 7: just having a LaMelo and Anthony Edwards. Shoot, there's gonna
- 1:34:54Speaker 7: have to be another piece. I'm just wondering if they're
- 1:34:56Speaker 7: going to try what the next move may be for Minnesota.
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: Well, that's that's not a bad that's two. That's two. Yep,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: you got I don't know what they drafted last night.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: That's two. That's your two scores. Those are the two
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: of the three pillars that you're trying to They still
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: got resigned one of their guys, Desunmu, who had a
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: good playoff run. They resigned him? Uh so basics, like,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: how do they The next part for them is rebuilding
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: the front core. Because you traded nas Reed, you still
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: have Gobert, But now what do you do? Like you
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: see some other big men in there? Possible?
- 1:35:33Speaker 6: And are we running into a time head on into
- 1:35:37Speaker 6: a time when these teams are starting and these contracts
- 1:35:42Speaker 6: are starting to price them out of building a decent
- 1:35:45Speaker 6: team over any amount of time, Like I can't keep
- 1:35:49Speaker 6: dudes together for four five years because I can't afford
- 1:35:51Speaker 6: to do that no more.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: Well, all these teams are are in a situation. I
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: think that part good point, Kenny. A lot of these
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: small market teams, And what I mean small market It
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: basically means that not that your city is not big.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: It means that your fan base is basically your city
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: and the surrounding area. Right, That's what small market means.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: It doesn't you know, people sometimes get it confused. Memphis
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: is a small market, meaning Minnesota is a small market.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: You don't just go down to the local here and
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: Timberwolves fans just anywhere New York fans already live. That's
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: why I got laugh in the finals. People know they
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: already live in San Antonio. New Yorkers move everywhere you go.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: That's where New Yorkers live everywhere. La people live everywhere,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Chicago people live everywhere. Atlantians don't as big as people are.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: They're very they're very on back to Atlanta. Yes, yes,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: they don't really move out. So if you go to
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: a game, naturally in Seattle, nobody's gonna be in. They don't,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: you know, that's not how they move to colon Seattle.
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: Those people really did fly in to Seattle to see
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: the game. They don't just already live there. That's just
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: not how. But a New Yorker moves to Seattle just
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: because his tech company. That's where the money, that's where
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: the money went. We're more homebound in the city. So
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: it'd be interesting to see. And they can only pay typically,
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: they have to rotate how they pay in those markets
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: a little more frequently, especially when you have a guy
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: like Anthony Edwards. They have to almost win with two
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: guys and hope they've drafted some guys, or they have
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: a guy that's gonna be a budding suit. Yeah, that's
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: emerging one of those guys. And you saw it even
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: with Golden State Golden State had to shuffle everybody except
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: step Dramont and Clay there.
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: For a while.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: And do you think that zation two or three years. No,
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: that's just that's just to go either way with a
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: team trying to rebuild, or if a team drafted well,
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: like Oklahoma City may run into that problem like, okay,
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: do we do we pay check or trade him? Do
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: we keep Jalen Williams or do we So it could
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: go either way where like if you draft too well
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: or if you're not drafting well at all.
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: Well, I think about, for instance, the New York Knicks,
- 1:38:37Speaker 6: there was Jalen Brunson, We got Karl Anthony Towns who
- 1:38:40Speaker 6: kind of emerged way bigger than he was in Minnesota,
- 1:38:44Speaker 6: and then other guys came along playing those roles and
- 1:38:47Speaker 6: they ended.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: Up his champions.
- 1:38:48Speaker 6: I ain't gonna be able to keep that same group
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: together for no frustrated organization, like we got to start
- 1:38:55Speaker 6: doing something different.
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: You gotta have like a jail and Brenson situation. He
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: gets a lot of quicker for taking less money, So
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: there would be money to get some of those other guys.
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: It would have to be other players also doing that.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: If they're close to winning a championship. Yeah, I still
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: think that puts a lot of go on one or
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: the other.
- 1:39:14Speaker 7: But it goes back as sports Jock said earlier, you
- 1:39:16Speaker 7: got to be willing to take that ten percent hit
- 1:39:19Speaker 7: to want to be a.
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: Winlet that's going.
- 1:39:21Speaker 6: That's just going to or I could put you under
- 1:39:24Speaker 6: a contract and if I didn't have to pay you
- 1:39:27Speaker 6: seven hundred million dollars a year, maybe I could get
- 1:39:30Speaker 6: you for five years.
- 1:39:32Speaker 7: But so well, that's what I'm saying that the still
- 1:39:34Speaker 7: management have to be able to orchestrate and be able
- 1:39:37Speaker 7: to know how to.
- 1:39:38Speaker 6: I'm saying those contracts are possible league wide. So maybe
- 1:39:43Speaker 6: they start to lower the cap or something like that.
- 1:39:46Speaker 6: Will it frustrate an organization to the point where they go,
- 1:39:49Speaker 6: I'm only a multi billionaire.
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: Bruh.
- 1:39:51Speaker 7: All I got is eighty three billion dollars and y'all
- 1:39:54Speaker 7: killing me. Well, that's what that luxury tax like. It
- 1:39:57Speaker 7: was like sports Jock was saying about the market. A
- 1:40:00Speaker 7: lot of people don't understand that luxury that's where that
- 1:40:02Speaker 7: luxury tax coming in.
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: LA can't afford no body. LA can't afford a whole team.
- 1:40:06Speaker 7: What they don't mind paying that luxury tax because they
- 1:40:08Speaker 7: got the fans are steal they'll hit, They'll take the fine.
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: They don't mind. There you got people. I pay the fine.
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Shock Show right after this.

- 1:42:20Speaker 1: Between between.
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: Log answer you can see a sports joint. I'll sing even.
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: Very Jenny, Welcome back to the Sports Jock Show. I'm
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: the sports chock Wayne Gandy. Part of why I don't
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: like our country is our ability to sue. I just
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: think we need to have some stronger contents, stronger laws
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: about just being able to sue, because a lot of
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: these cases, you read, half of it is your responsibility.
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: We put it on the establishment or the person, the
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: other person. And it's just as I was reading the story,
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: Guy down and my part of THEO was where I
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: grew up in Florida. Bartow eighty four year old issuing
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: waffle House. He failed while trying to enter waffle house
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: with his wife, Edward Bowls, tripped over the curb. He
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: claims that is waffle House's fault for having advertisement in
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: the window, that as he was walking up to the
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: waffle house distracted his vision. That because he was looking
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: at the waffle or whatever, the posters are on the
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: waffle house like they're not supposed to advertise what they're
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: selling inside, he tripped down and had some injuries, and
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: now he's suing, And I'm like, so, waffa House is
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: wrong for advertising their product and because you stumbled and failed,
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: how is that waffa House's fault? Well, first of all,
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: how do these cases even get how do you even
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: you shouldn't even feel like I have a case, is
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: what I mean. And I know on TV they are
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: always selling and I know we all got these little
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: la but I'm on a real note. Why we shouldn't
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: have a law where you failed because you was distracted
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: and be thinking, Oh man, I can sue waffa house.
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: Somebody can sell you. Now we got a case.
- 1:44:41Speaker 6: What is the case that you put an obstruction in
- 1:44:49Speaker 6: the footpath where my vision was distracted from paying attention
- 1:44:55Speaker 6: to your pathway obstruction to a much larger, much more
- 1:45:01Speaker 6: powerful image right there.
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: But what you call the sidewalk the curb, I legally
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: have to have this sidewalk.
- 1:45:13Speaker 6: And now we can't say that because right now there
- 1:45:23Speaker 6: is a rash of lawsuits going around in this country,
- 1:45:29Speaker 6: probably several hundred in the state of Georgia alone, where
- 1:45:33Speaker 6: a law firm is suing private businesses because blind people
- 1:45:39Speaker 6: can't access their websites. Period, that's the lawsuit. There is
- 1:45:47Speaker 6: one woman in Georgia who has a business who has
- 1:45:51Speaker 6: been sued three times and lost three times. She has
- 1:45:55Speaker 6: paid tens of thousands of dollars to have consultants from
- 1:46:00Speaker 6: the government design her a website that makes it more friendly,
- 1:46:04Speaker 6: and each time she thinks she has it right. This
- 1:46:07Speaker 6: company comes back and says it's not what we need
- 1:46:11Speaker 6: for blind people to be able to get on the
- 1:46:14Speaker 6: internet and search your business page. So for someone to
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: go I tripped in front of a waffle house because
- 1:46:22Speaker 6: you had a big sign in my eyesight. For me,
- 1:46:25Speaker 6: doesn't seem like a stretch because we have a system
- 1:46:28Speaker 6: where just like sports Jock was saying about the contract,
- 1:46:31Speaker 6: but that's not negotiated.
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: Kenny, you should have to have some real reason to
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: sue people. We spend too much time in conjecture and
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: just you upset, just throw the ball the dice against
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: the wall. You should know that it ain't your.
- 1:46:48Speaker 24: Turn to go.
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: You're you're convoluting what we can be out here really
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: getting some cases. But they run the advertisement on TV.
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: Oh you one call. That's all top dog laws, basically
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: that we'll just figure out some way to sue somebody
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: or sue some company, even if you are in the wrong,
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: we'll figure out something. We'll take it pro bono and
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: take a third or whatever we win on anything. Girl,
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: my lawyer, get me to the bag. Whatever case you got,
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: you better take it to him. And if it's a
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: hot coffee, thing. It's so this you're watching the new
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: uh Jubilee pancake whatever waffle sign and you tripped. Now
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: it's my fault for advertising that we're having. This is
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: the confetti waffle? How about it? So you know, too
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: close to the side. Da White says UFC doesn't do
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: Pride nights. They focus on fighting, uh not sexual all
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: of the bold statement. A lot of people are coming
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: at Dana White. I think some of this has been
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: that people don't like the Dana White and UFC still exists.
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: Some people don't like the UFC two fifty. It's just
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: you know what they think Dana White stands for. We
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: were talking about this is why I stood out. Will
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: these leagues start stepping away from different nights, because that's
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: what sounds like. You know a couple of years ago
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: when I came back and told you guys that if
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: you watch they do like the hug cam now or well,
- 1:48:39Speaker 1: I'm saying you here or there, maybe you might catch
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: one night of kiss cam.
- 1:48:44Speaker 26: I know it.
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: The Hawks they don't do kiss cam at all anymore
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: because they just removed it once they got so many
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: calls from the LGBTQ community about how they felt like
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: it was unfair. You ain't showing us loving each other.
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: They just kind of got rid of it. I know,
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: I've gone to a Braves game and they do like
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: some kind of hug cam or friend cam or something
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: like that, but it's not centered around kissing. But they
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: know White saying they're just focusing on fighting. Why can't
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: they just focus on fighting?
- 1:49:18Speaker 7: And that's and another thing that he said that he
- 1:49:21Speaker 7: went with it that he said, I know some of
- 1:49:23Speaker 7: my fighters are maybe had their sexual preference, maybe something,
- 1:49:28Speaker 7: but we're not, like you said, we're focusing on fighting.
- 1:49:31Speaker 1: We're not focusing on they're not even focusing on that situation.
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: But the part that stood out men, we'll go to
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: break and grab it a little bit of it on
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: the other side is just how he worried it. Big Kenny,
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: Big Commandchie Gray Bad producer. Not sexuality because it frames
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: up that you do know, that's really kind of what sexuality. Yes,
- 1:49:53Speaker 1: that's the same sex. Anything has sex in it. It's sex.
- 1:49:57Speaker 6: We're talking about men on men, women on women. That's
- 1:50:02Speaker 6: what we're talking about. The kiss cam is a sexual display.
- 1:50:06Speaker 6: That's what it is. We'll be back more to Sports
- 1:50:09Speaker 6: Jock Show, right after this, I like the way.
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: You work kids. No diggity IoT the bagging it. I
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: like the way you work kids, No diggit the.

- 1:51:33Speaker 5: And now back to the Sports Job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: Now it's time put a school on board.
- 1:51:40Speaker 15: Can we put a spin on life and sports and
- 1:51:44Speaker 15: how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy?
- 1:51:51Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, jo Jo, jock Job.
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: Jack, you walk back to this sports Shock show. I'm
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: the sports Shock Wayne Candy. US Open champ Wyndham Clark
- 1:52:22Speaker 1: has something to say about Baker Mayfield on part in
- 1:52:28Speaker 1: My Take podcast this week with Barstool Sports Windom Clark,
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: who just won the US Open going in and I'm
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: quite sure Baker woke up surprised that Whendam Clark would
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: bring this to air. But we see in this new
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: society that there seems not to be any kind of code.
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: People will use whatever story they need to, whatever role
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: of anything in their life to remote some kind of attention.
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: With Whendam Clark, he says that his college girlfriend had
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: a relation with Baker Mayfield. And I read the story
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: and that's not the point. The point I kept thinking
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: you know, this was supposed to be back in twenty sixteen,
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: which is ten years ago, and I kept thinking Baker
- 1:53:27Speaker 1: Mayfield probably rolled over and got out of the bed,
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: like how did I get drug into these situations? Like
- 1:53:36Speaker 1: a lot of people like how did something that I did?
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: There's no in the story, there's no link that Mayfield
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: even knows Wyndam Clark and vice versa, but not even
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: that Baker Mayfield might not even know that the young
- 1:53:53Speaker 1: lady was dating Windom Clark back then. Baker has been
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: married the last seventy year years, has two kids, done
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: some things in the NFL. Guys, why are people just
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: so like Wyndam Clark needy of attention? How did you
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: know that Baker Mayfield wanted to be in the news
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: cycle this week and sports the only thing? But I
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: don't know that That's what I'm saying. What I need
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: some proof? Do you know that Baker knew this was
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: your girlfriend? I don't know if he has any any proof. Honestly,
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: never let it that. It's been ten years that he
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: brings it up now like he never, but he stayed.
- 1:54:41Speaker 6: With the girlfriend and Jesus girlfriend now no, no, no,
- 1:54:44Speaker 6: he got hold so he got cheated on about ten
- 1:54:48Speaker 6: years ago, and today, in his current life, he's still
- 1:54:52Speaker 6: talking about that. And it's because there are some people
- 1:54:57Speaker 6: that didn't know they needed attention until it was so
- 1:55:00Speaker 6: easy to get Now. I don't have to work hard
- 1:55:03Speaker 6: for it, and I'm addicted to it. So whatever i
- 1:55:07Speaker 6: have to do to get my fixed I'm willing to
- 1:55:09Speaker 6: do is the only thing.
- 1:55:10Speaker 1: And the only thing I'm thinking.
- 1:55:12Speaker 7: Clark played at Oklahoma State and Mayfield played football in Oklahoma.
- 1:55:19Speaker 6: I'm just trying to And the sad part about it
- 1:55:22Speaker 6: is Wyndham Clark, if you went back through her history,
- 1:55:27Speaker 6: she probably cheated on you with Baker Mayfield and half
- 1:55:31Speaker 6: the dudes you went to school with.
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: But you just bringing up Baker Mayfield. You see what
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 1:55:37Speaker 6: It's sensationalism because Baker Mayfield's name will make us click
- 1:55:42Speaker 6: on the story. And I think people like I think
- 1:55:45Speaker 6: Baker Mayfield ought to sue him for defamation of character.
- 1:55:49Speaker 6: You make me sound like a low life someone that
- 1:55:51Speaker 6: would go out and break up a happy relationship.
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: I ain't had nothing to do with that. I ain't
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: even know you ten years ago. Hell, I don't even
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: know you today.
- 1:56:00Speaker 7: It started from It started from a tweet he tweeted
- 1:56:03Speaker 7: in twenty sixteen.
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: I hate Baker Mayfield. Well I'm saying so now you're
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: stalking me too. I could add all of that to it.
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: What's up with you? Why don't you ask your lady
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: what happened? I didn't know you. I still don't know you.
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: I was just getting lucky after a game. Bruh. The
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: NFL has canceled the Supplemental Draft, and I give them
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: a big salute for that, the power that the NFL,
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: the Shields showing, and I think this was all just
- 1:56:33Speaker 1: centered around Texas Tech and their quarterback. Now, which all
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: this happened at Cincinnati, make sure you remember that part.
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: So Texas Tech the name is getting because that's where
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: he currently is signed with and they were considering of
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: playing him. But these issues that Brendan Soresby had happened
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: at Indiana, where he was caught gambling as a Indiana
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: I mean, excuse me, at Cincinnati, where he was caught
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: gambling and basically avoiding his college career. He was entering
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: the Supplemental Draft of the NFL, and it seemed like
- 1:57:16Speaker 1: the Shields decided we'll just shut this down completely completely.
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: What's your mama say? What's your mama side? What? They
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: released a letter, uh, detailing like why basically they they
- 1:57:32Speaker 1: choose whether they're going to do it every year, choose
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: or they do a supplemental draft every year. They didn't
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: plan on it. And because there's a deadline to enter
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: and then he sent in his application three days before,
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: they need to investigate, Like, but you were accused that,
- 1:57:48Speaker 1: you know, you got the gambling stuff, and we don't
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: have time to look into all of that. So looking
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: at all of what, looking at all of what?
- 1:57:57Speaker 6: You mean the people at Cincinnati didn't do it nothing
- 1:58:00Speaker 6: investigation you mean the people with Texas didn't do enough.
- 1:58:02Speaker 6: They got to do their own They got to do
- 1:58:04Speaker 6: their own investigation or at least get all the information
- 1:58:08Speaker 6: they didn't have. They just they there was too much
- 1:58:11Speaker 6: of a hassle to even go through all that. So
- 1:58:13Speaker 6: they said, like do it having a sleepover?
- 1:58:16Speaker 1: Can I go? What's your mama say? What your mama say?
- 1:58:21Speaker 1: Your mama say it? No.
- 1:58:22Speaker 6: So the fact that you would even petition me, put
- 1:58:26Speaker 6: out a two page letter say like we can't do it.
- 1:58:30Speaker 6: Salute the NFL for not opening that Pandora's box and
- 1:58:34Speaker 6: making that man take accountability. That's that's simply all they did.
- 1:58:38Speaker 6: If you would let him dodge his accountability, he can't
- 1:58:41Speaker 6: play at Texas and this gives.
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: Them, This gives them time to get their lawyers in
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: place to find some kind of legislation. Probably they'll not
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: let Sores be in at all period. Period that he
- 1:58:54Speaker 1: already comes with a guilty verdict of gambling, so it
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: gives them the right to deny him entry. Two of
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: the cardinal says in the NFL am I correct, yes,
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: And they mentioned all that in their letter, like you
- 1:59:11Speaker 1: have all this going on and it's best to wait.
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: But that doesn't mean like, oh, we're just gonna let
- 1:59:16Speaker 1: you in the draft next year. So yeah, it's not
- 1:59:19Speaker 1: something that anybody. And as I said in helping Brendan
- 1:59:22Speaker 1: soresby Texas Tech, as I keep him on scholarship, let
- 1:59:28Speaker 1: him finish degree, give him all the support they can
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: possibly do without having him involved with their football team.
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: Maybe down the road, as I said, maybe go to Canada,
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: maybe go to the XFL. You're going to have to
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: put years that people can see that you have conquered this,
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: because it's not like something. This is not years removed,
- 1:59:54Speaker 1: weeks that you have shown me that you can be

- 2:02:18Speaker 1: and that's five years. You intentionally walked over to a
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: man sleeping because he ain't suffering enough. Now sleeping on
- 2:02:27Speaker 1: a cold subway floor. Now that ain't enough suffrage. What
- 2:02:30Speaker 1: you need to do is burn and only get sixty

- 2:02:54Speaker 1: on fire and walked away and only get sixty six months.
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: That judge must have been in court in a nicked
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: Bronson jersey. He must have been on it. He must
- 2:03:11Speaker 1: not have. He must have just been so jubilant he
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: was giving breaks that day. Body Miller got four years.
