- 0:00Speaker 1: Now more of the Marximone show on seven to ten
- 0:04Speaker 1: WR going in for Mark. Here again is Ken rosetto
- 0:08Speaker 1: all right, God be with you on a Friday to
- 0:10Speaker 1: our busy phones. Right now, let's go to Joe in
- 0:12Speaker 1: Elmwood Park. Good morning to you, Joe.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Good morning Ken.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I don't want to sound facetious or ludicrous. Are they
- 0:17Speaker 1: going to rig Blakeman's election like they did to us
- 0:20Speaker 1: in Jersey? I sure hope not. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I love brutes Blakeman, and I think he would be
- 0:25Speaker 1: a fantastic governor in the state of New York. I mean,
- 0:28Speaker 1: he has so much going for him. Look what he
- 0:30Speaker 1: did to NASA County in the short time he's there.
- 0:33Speaker 2: And Jack would have been a good governor for us too.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I believe that. I believe. In fact, it's funny
- 0:38Speaker 1: the few times that I said on the air that
- 0:40Speaker 1: he was avoiding me for interviews, No sooner did I
- 0:43Speaker 1: say that. His brother called and set up an interview
- 0:45Speaker 1: and we got him on the air, and he was
- 0:46Speaker 1: just so gracious and so kind. And guess what, All
- 0:49Speaker 1: that time I thought that my producers at my show
- 0:53Speaker 1: in New Jersey I'm like, why isn't he responding? Then
- 0:55Speaker 1: I look in my phone and realized I had Jack's
- 0:57Speaker 1: phone number in my phone the whole time. Was my
- 0:59Speaker 1: fault for not calling him. So I blame myself for
- 1:01Speaker 1: not reaching out to him earlier. But I agree Bruce
- 1:03Speaker 1: Blakeman would be the best thing for New York and
- 1:06Speaker 1: Jack should contest it.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Buzz too late now, yeah, too late is right.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Now. We'll keep our fingers crossed for next time. That's
- 1:12Speaker 1: all we can do. Thank you so much, Joe. We
- 1:14Speaker 1: go to Bill in Idaho. Good morning, Bill.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I can a woman thank you for mentioning the bomb
- 1:23Speaker 4: PA because I've been treated in New York nineteen seventy
- 1:28Speaker 4: through twenty five, and I've seen the improvements in the
- 1:32Speaker 4: last five years.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It's just amazing, isn't it something you know, when you
- 1:36Speaker 1: think government and I don't mean to step on your bill.
- 1:38Speaker 1: When you think government healthcare and what you generally tend
- 1:42Speaker 1: to have a negative stereotype in mind. And I remember
- 1:45Speaker 1: the first time my mother asked, as my mom used
- 1:48Speaker 1: to go with my dad and now neither one of
- 1:50Speaker 1: them can can drive down there alone, but they asked,
- 1:53Speaker 1: would you come and take dad I was living in
- 1:55Speaker 1: Central Jersey, but I said, of course I will, and
- 1:58Speaker 1: I still do now. And I remember going there, pulling
- 2:01Speaker 1: up and seeing how immediately you are greeted, You're welcome,
- 2:07Speaker 1: They rush to get you a wheelchair. Everything is what
- 2:09Speaker 1: can I do for you, sir? Where can I take you?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Where do you need to go? It's just courtesy that
- 2:14Speaker 1: that the that's all deserve. And by the way, thank
- 2:16Speaker 1: you for your service to Bill. Bill you're still there.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I'm here and you know I will got to spokegain
- 2:28Speaker 2: in just the last six months. And it's you know,
- 2:33Speaker 2: I have no idea if you know this, but it's
- 2:35Speaker 2: either Northern Idaho is like a center of medical help,
- 2:41Speaker 2: I mean.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Because all of Canada's coming down and taking advantage of,
- 2:46Speaker 4: you know, all the different facilities. But the BA is
- 2:51Speaker 4: like number three in the country. And they are I've
- 2:56Speaker 4: never seen anything like it. I mean, they are you know,
- 2:59Speaker 4: I made one years old and they treat me like,
- 3:03Speaker 4: you know, I'm I'm sort our hero.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well you are and the fact that you the fact
- 3:06Speaker 1: that you served, sir, you are we appreciate what you.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Did well, not really When I got in in nineteen
- 3:12Speaker 4: seventy and I had to go over to the VA
- 3:15Speaker 4: on twenty fourth Street. They were literally rats coming out
- 3:19Speaker 4: of there because we were baby killers, if you remember.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what they thought. That's what the liberals were saying.
- 3:24Speaker 1: But thankfully you are in one piece and you deserve
- 3:28Speaker 1: all the respect in the world at the VA. And thankfully,
- 3:32Speaker 1: because of President Trump in his first term, the VA
- 3:35Speaker 1: right now is getting the resources necessary and treating our
- 3:38Speaker 1: vets with the dignity and respect they deserve. We appreciate
- 3:41Speaker 1: your bill. Let's go to James and Suffolk Kenny or
- 3:43Speaker 1: on wr.
- 3:46Speaker 4: HI.
- 3:47Speaker 5: I had a couple of comments. I served on a
- 3:50Speaker 5: ship of the USS Independence and it would do nine
- 3:55Speaker 5: month tours at a time, and there were times that Diday,
- 3:58Speaker 5: eighteen months somebody wanted to jump off that ship. There's
- 4:02Speaker 5: no trying. You could simply jump off. So I don't
- 4:05Speaker 5: believe the narrative that people are trying to jump off
- 4:08Speaker 5: the ship.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean there are you know, James, Look, we
- 4:12Speaker 1: assume everybody who's in the military is of the same
- 4:15Speaker 1: lockstep mind conservatives, or that isn't the case. The military
- 4:19Speaker 1: is made up of all sorts of different people, just
- 4:21Speaker 1: like main you know, the folks on the streets, and
- 4:24Speaker 1: it could very well be that you have, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: one kid who might have depression and might be telling
- 4:30Speaker 1: their mother or father like, hey, you know, it's it
- 4:33Speaker 1: sucks here and you never know, and that person goes
- 4:35Speaker 1: and complaints to the Navy Times. And remember it is
- 4:39Speaker 1: the publications job to get eyeballs on the publication. So
- 4:43Speaker 1: that but that doesn't mean that things are going flawlessly either,
- 4:46Speaker 1: so it's worth looking into it.
- 4:48Speaker 5: It's definitely rough and being on a ship and you
- 4:51Speaker 5: worked at twelve I was the seven days a week
- 4:53Speaker 5: and it does get tough. But they were doing that
- 4:57Speaker 5: back in the eighties, eighteen month tours and the Persian Golf.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Would you gets you wanted to jump, James, I don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: mean to step on you. I was going to ask you,
- 5:06Speaker 1: did you at least get port calls every now and then?
- 5:10Speaker 5: I didn't, but sometimes you would, but not usually out
- 5:14Speaker 5: in the Persian Golf. But if you wanted to jump,
- 5:16Speaker 5: you'd simply walk over to the edge and jump off.
- 5:19Speaker 5: There's no trying to jump. You could simply jump off
- 5:23Speaker 5: of it. But I also wanted to mention how they
- 5:27Speaker 5: they're having that meeting with President Trump with the Nassau
- 5:30Speaker 5: County Police, and they said that Long Island police are
- 5:33Speaker 5: doing such a great job, not talking about Nassau, but
- 5:37Speaker 5: the Suffolk Police do not prosecute illegals. They protect them.
- 5:43Speaker 5: And I've had one try to break into my house,
- 5:46Speaker 5: broke into my truck. They refuse to file a report,
- 5:48Speaker 5: claiming the police would just the DA's and judges just
- 5:52Speaker 5: release them, so they don't even arrest them, even though
- 5:54Speaker 5: I got them on camera breaking into my truck and
- 5:58Speaker 5: then two weeks later tried to break into my house.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm fed up with it. I listen New York. New
- 6:04Speaker 1: York needs to get a new governor, and people have
- 6:08Speaker 1: to get out and listen. I got to blame Republicans
- 6:11Speaker 1: for this. Get out and vote for the Assembly and
- 6:13Speaker 1: the Senate. What happens is you get the Republican right,
- 6:17Speaker 1: they vote for president and then like, yeah, I only
- 6:19Speaker 1: vote for president. Well that's your problem. If you only
- 6:22Speaker 1: vote for president. Ninety percent of your day to day
- 6:24Speaker 1: life is not impacted by what the president does. It's
- 6:26Speaker 1: impacted by your governor, your mayor, your Assembly, your Senate.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Those are the people you have to vote for. Yet
- 6:32Speaker 1: they sit on their asses and they don't go out
- 6:34Speaker 1: and vote. And by the way, you can get an
- 6:36Speaker 1: absentee ballot. Do what the liberals do, vote seventy two
- 6:39Speaker 1: years early and vote for your candidate instead of saying
- 6:43Speaker 1: I had to go food shopping that day, I had
- 6:46Speaker 1: to vo to the bank. I didn't have time. Well,
- 6:47Speaker 1: then you get what you get if you don't go
- 6:50Speaker 1: out and vote for your Assembly and Senate. You have
- 6:52Speaker 1: people in the New York State Assembly who are such
- 6:54Speaker 1: radical leftists that they make mom Donnie look like a conservative.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Remember he was a New York status. That's what you get.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You have one hundred other people like him up in
- 7:04Speaker 1: Albany who are radicals. And Governor Bucktooth excuse me, Governor
- 7:08Speaker 1: Hokel just signs off on whatever they give her because
- 7:12Speaker 1: she just wants to live along and get along and
- 7:14Speaker 1: get re elected.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Pathetic, But love your show, and thanks for taking my call.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Well, thank you, James, appreciate your listening. But it is
- 7:22Speaker 1: the Mark Simone show. I'm just but keeping the seat
- 7:25Speaker 1: warm for a couple of days for the Great Mark
- 7:27Speaker 1: Simone for a day at least. He'll be back on Monday,
- 7:30Speaker 1: bright and early on his new first of three hours
- 7:34Speaker 1: that I know he is so happy.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Hey is he?
- 7:36Speaker 1: How happy? Is Mark coming in for nine am? Now?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Isn't he excited?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:42Speaker 1: Is he's saying? Oh, yeah, he's excited. He's bad as
- 7:44Speaker 1: excited as a guy waiting to get needles in his eyes.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But no, no, no. But the great thing is there
- 7:49Speaker 1: is nobody better at this. This is the amazing thing.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I never get to see Mark because I fill in
- 7:55Speaker 1: for him. People ask me all the time.
- 7:56Speaker 5: What's like?
- 7:57Speaker 4: Who is he like?
- 7:58Speaker 1: Is a good guy? Yes? The few times I've toalk
- 8:00Speaker 1: to Mark, he is an awesome man. But I don't
- 8:02Speaker 1: really get to see him and interact with him because
- 8:05Speaker 1: he's off and enjoying his long vacation weekends, which is
- 8:09Speaker 1: why I'm here. Mark is the best in the business,
- 8:14Speaker 1: period and he deserves all the accolades in the world,
- 8:18Speaker 1: including his Barrett Media accolades that he got top twenty
- 8:22Speaker 1: major market news talk radio best midday Show. He is
- 8:27Speaker 1: just the best at what he does, and we love
- 8:29Speaker 1: Mark very very much. Let's go to Dave and Malwan,
- 8:31Speaker 1: New Jersey.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Hello, Dave, Hey, how you doing Ken good sir.
- 8:37Speaker 5: First thing I wanted to say is I can't wait
- 8:39Speaker 5: till you get your your own show.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Oh no, great hearing you. Yeah, no, don't say that
- 8:45Speaker 3: you're you're you're awesome at the radio. You really are,
- 8:48Speaker 3: thank you, And yeah, I wanted to see what your
- 8:53Speaker 3: feelings were about, you know, biological men playing in female sports.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I mean, obviously probably against it, like like I am,
- 9:02Speaker 3: and most most are. But what should we what should
- 9:06Speaker 3: we do with the transgender athletes? Because no one ever
- 9:10Speaker 3: talks about the remedy. We just talked about the problem.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm glad you're saying, Dave. I think that's a brilliant question,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and I've thought about this. Nobody ever asks that question.
- 9:20Speaker 1: So I have friends who are trans, and I've had
- 9:23Speaker 1: I've had this discussion, and I've asked, why don't you
- 9:26Speaker 1: know you could? You could ostensibly, if you are a
- 9:28Speaker 1: trans female, meaning you're born a man biologically, but you
- 9:33Speaker 1: you perceive yourself as a female, you could ostensibly play
- 9:36Speaker 1: in a man's team because you are still biologically for
- 9:39Speaker 1: the most part, unless they had surgery, they are biologically male. Actually,
- 9:43Speaker 1: even after the surgery, they're biologically male because their DNA
- 9:46Speaker 1: says so. But then if not, then have a league
- 9:49Speaker 1: of your own. Listen, this is America. I think it
- 9:53Speaker 1: would be interesting to see a league of trans people,
- 9:55Speaker 1: and I bet you there would be an audience for that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I think people, more than anything else, that the curiosity
- 10:01Speaker 1: would want to check it out. But I think that
- 10:03Speaker 1: the experiment is carrying itself out right now with the WNBA.
- 10:08Speaker 1: If we in fact start getting the Eniscanters, etc. Starting
- 10:12Speaker 1: their own teams or joining teams as you know, men
- 10:16Speaker 1: who are tongue in cheek saying they are women, I
- 10:19Speaker 1: want to see what happens to women's sports, and I
- 10:22Speaker 1: think this is the great experiment. We'll find out what happens.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But I am with you. I think the whole idea
- 10:27Speaker 1: of forcing women or forcing the female teams to accept
- 10:32Speaker 1: genetic men where they have physiological differences that are clearly obvious,
- 10:38Speaker 1: I think that is just going to destroy women's sports,
- 10:41Speaker 1: and there's no point to having separate women's sports then
- 10:44Speaker 1: at that point, right all right, my friend Dave listen,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I appreciate you calling my fellow New Jersey men. I'm
- 10:51Speaker 1: a garden Stater to reappreciate you. Bud, have a great data.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Great thank you.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Bet seven ten wo are the voice of New York.
- 11:00Speaker 1: We'll take more calls in just a minute. The number
- 11:02Speaker 1: is eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Eight
- 11:05Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten. It is Ken
- 11:08Speaker 1: Rosatowin for the Great Mark Simona on a Friday wheel
- 11:11Speaker 1: back in just a couple of minutes
