Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: I can show you the world.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's World Princess Week, and Disney is going big with
- 0:11Speaker 2: special new launches and exclusive collaborations. They've got you all
- 0:16Speaker 2: kinds of merch for you to check out. And being
- 0:19Speaker 2: that I'm I wouldn't consider myself a Disney adult. I've
- 0:22Speaker 2: seen tons of Disney movies. I was born in nineteen ninety. Okay,
- 0:25Speaker 2: I exist, yeah, but I have not really kept up
- 0:29Speaker 2: with Disney, and I am wondering, Angie, if you had
- 0:32Speaker 2: to rank like your three favorite and or least favorite
- 0:37Speaker 2: Disney princesses, who would they be?
- 0:40Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna do my three best in all particular order,
- 0:43Speaker 3: and then my three worst.
- 0:45Speaker 1: First up, Bell from Beauty and the Beasts.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Oh no, no, he'd never hurt anyone.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Please.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I know he looks vicious, but he's really kind and gentlemen.
- 0:54Speaker 1: He's my friend. If I didn't know better, I think
- 0:57Speaker 1: you had feelings for this monster.
- 1:00Speaker 2: She's no monster, guest on you are, that's right.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Belle stood ten toes down for her man, even though
- 1:08Speaker 3: Gaston literally amassed a mob against her and the Beast
- 1:12Speaker 3: and was trying to throw her dad in the looney band.
- 1:15Speaker 3: She stood ten toes down for beast, and I respect
- 1:19Speaker 3: it all right. Next, Tiana from Princess and the Frog.
- 1:23Speaker 1: The only way.
- 1:24Speaker 2: To get what you want in this world is through
- 1:25Speaker 2: hard work. That's right, that's right.
- 1:27Speaker 3: She's a strong, independent woman who didn't rely on a
- 1:30Speaker 3: man to get her what she wanted. She worked hard
- 1:32Speaker 3: and made it happen for herself. And finally, Jasmine from Aladdin,
- 1:37Speaker 3: just let.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Her meet me.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I will win your daughter.
- 1:40Speaker 4: How dare you all of you standing around deciding by future?
- 1:46Speaker 1: I am not apprised to be one. Oh dear, oh dear,
- 1:51Speaker 1: is right.
- 1:52Speaker 3: She knows her worth and she didn't let men decide
- 1:56Speaker 3: what was best for her. So those are my three
- 1:59Speaker 3: best princesses. Is now for the worst, your least favorite?
- 2:02Speaker 3: My three least favorite. Elsa from Frozen Homegirl went to
- 2:06Speaker 3: the extreme with her isolation, like wear gloves. At some
- 2:10Speaker 3: point she figured out to wear gloves. She didn't have
- 2:13Speaker 3: to literally ignore her own sister for over a decade.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Not a fan. I don't like Elsa Ariel from the
- 2:21Speaker 1: Little Mermaid. What a dumb broad.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Giving up your voice to get the attention of some
- 2:27Speaker 3: dusty dude. Miss me with that, giving up my ability
- 2:30Speaker 3: to yap, No, I don't care how convincing Ursula was
- 2:34Speaker 3: in her song. And finally a punzel from Tangled because
- 2:39Speaker 3: she stayed with Flynn Ryder after he chopped her hair
- 2:43Speaker 3: off super short and it looked bad. He could have
- 2:46Speaker 3: cut her hair at least his shoulder length to save her.
- 2:49Speaker 3: That was a crime, and how dare she stay with
- 2:51Speaker 3: him after that?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Like always Angie, do you have one?
- 2:58Speaker 1: Why? Yes? I do.
- 2:59Speaker 3: I got kids to watch a documentary last night called
- 3:03Speaker 3: The Last Rhinos A New Hope, and it's about the
- 3:06Speaker 3: last two living white northern white rhinos. Oh, I think
- 3:12Speaker 3: I've seen something about them, yes, And I started crying.
- 3:16Speaker 3: The kids told me to go to bed because it
- 3:18Speaker 3: was close to my bedtime, and they're like, go to
- 3:19Speaker 3: bed before you start crying, because I get really emotional
- 3:24Speaker 3: over those things. But they watched the entire documentary and
- 3:26Speaker 3: they were very invested, and now they're hopeful that science
- 3:31Speaker 3: can bring these rhinos back there essentially extinct because there's
- 3:36Speaker 3: only two female rhinos left right in the entire population,
- 3:41Speaker 3: and they're too old to reproduce, so they're hoping with
- 3:44Speaker 3: you know, the magic of science, they can maybe reproduce
- 3:48Speaker 3: at least one more and you know, try to keep
- 3:50Speaker 3: the population of those rhinos going. But I just felt
- 3:54Speaker 3: really glad that the kids, I mean, they were about
- 3:56Speaker 3: to start school, right and they watched something where they
- 4:00Speaker 3: learned before school started.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And that's a victory to me.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah, they had to get the brain in the right
- 4:06Speaker 2: mindset the morning. That's awesome.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Exactly What about you, Gabe, You have a little victory
- 4:10Speaker 3: you want to share?
- 4:11Speaker 2: My little victory is that today is National dog I
- 4:17Speaker 2: am one of those annoying morons that makes their dog
- 4:22Speaker 2: a bit of part of their personality to an extent,
- 4:25Speaker 2: and she's just the best. And I want to wish
- 4:27Speaker 2: Winona a happy National Dog Day. If you have a dog,
- 4:31Speaker 2: make sure you give them a little extra treat. And well,
- 4:33Speaker 2: I am going to put a picture of Winona up
- 4:35Speaker 2: on Facebook at some point and we're gonna share all
- 4:37Speaker 2: the cute photos you have of your fur babies so
- 4:40Speaker 2: far the rest of the next twenty four hours, you
- 4:43Speaker 2: get that little cute dog dopamine hit on Facebook. That's
- 4:47Speaker 2: what I'm looking forward to. That's a little victory in
- 4:50Speaker 2: and of itself. Yesterday when the show was done here
- 4:56Speaker 2: on Big ninety eight point seven in the morning show,
- 4:58Speaker 2: Angie made a quick run not to go get a snack.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'll storm it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And where where did you go? Again? Was a CBS?
- 5:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I ran over to CBS. It's super close to
- 5:07Speaker 1: the station.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And I'm sitting here, you know, hanging out doing my thing.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Angie comes back with the most insane snack I have
- 5:16Speaker 2: ever seen. And by insane, I didn't know there was
- 5:19Speaker 2: a snack that existed at CBS that I had never
- 5:22Speaker 2: heard of or seen. Can you share what you brought
- 5:26Speaker 2: back to Big ninety eight point seven after running the CBS,
- 5:29Speaker 2: because I've never even seen anything close to this.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Okay, flavor blasted, blazing hot hippies.
- 5:37Speaker 2: See when it has that many words in it, I
- 5:40Speaker 2: don't know what it is. What are they?
- 5:42Speaker 3: So hippies are chickpea puffs, and so they are like
- 5:47Speaker 3: the They're not healthy by any means, right, don't let
- 5:50Speaker 3: the chickpeas fools, right, Okay, it's just that they're vegan.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I'm vegan and.
- 5:55Speaker 1: They taste really good.
- 5:56Speaker 3: It was actually a non vegan person who turned me
- 5:59Speaker 3: onto them. And they are in the shape of kind
- 6:03Speaker 3: of like cheeto puffs.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what they kind of look like, yeah, are
- 6:06Speaker 2: they spicy?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Well, I got the blazing hot one, so yeah. But
- 6:09Speaker 3: they have other flavors. They have white cheddar, nacho cheese.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I think they have like a saracha flavor. Oh, there's
- 6:17Speaker 3: a bar bohemian barbecue. Like there's an assortment of flavors,
- 6:22Speaker 3: but this one is flavor blasted.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And so yeah, I got myself some hippies.
- 6:27Speaker 3: But you know what, most people that I know, unless
- 6:31Speaker 3: I showed them what they are, don't don't eat those.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But I can't be the only one. Like they obviously
- 6:36Speaker 1: keep them in stock.
- 6:37Speaker 2: That's exactly the question I have this morning. So are
- 6:40Speaker 2: these popular on the West coast?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Oh?
- 6:42Speaker 3: I wonder if that's what that is because I lived
- 6:45Speaker 3: on the West Coast for so long.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm not sure either way. Have you ever
- 6:49Speaker 2: heard of these? Snatch? Am I crazy?
- 6:52Speaker 3: I don't.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I've never even seen these? Yea one two eight zero
- 6:56Speaker 2: one nine eight seven one more time?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Can you give us that full full time hippies?
- 7:00Speaker 3: They're spelled hipp e a s hippies.
- 7:05Speaker 2: There's someone's chowing down right now in their car at
- 7:14Speaker 2: school is right around the corner. West Fargo started last
- 7:18Speaker 2: week and what is it the Thursday Fargo kids start. No,
- 7:21Speaker 2: they start tomorrow Wednesday, right, tomorrow's wednesday. Yeah, today's Tuesday.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Tomorrow's Wednesday.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Yeah, they start tomorrow.
- 7:29Speaker 3: So last night Aiden had like, there was like the
- 7:32Speaker 3: open house so you could meet all your teachers and yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 3: kind of just go from class to class just so
- 7:37Speaker 3: you know what the route is. And so I went
- 7:40Speaker 3: with Aiden and he didn't want to go. You fought
- 7:43Speaker 3: me the entire time leading up day.
- 7:45Speaker 1: He's like, I don't want to go. Can we just
- 7:46Speaker 1: not go?
- 7:47Speaker 3: I'm like, but don't you want to meet your teachers?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Don't you want to see where you have to walk?
- 7:51Speaker 2: I would want to know where I had to walk
- 7:53Speaker 2: more than like who the teachers are. I kind of
- 7:55Speaker 2: understand that, but I definitely would want to have my route.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Well. And the other thing is because they can't have
- 8:00Speaker 3: backpacks this year, so I'm like, you need to know
- 8:02Speaker 3: where your classes are and in relation to your locker
- 8:06Speaker 3: because they're going to be relying on their lockers heavily
- 8:08Speaker 3: to put their books away, to bring the right books
- 8:11Speaker 3: because they can't carry backpacks.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we couldn't have backpacks in high school either. Oh really, no,
- 8:16Speaker 2: we were constantly tripping back or trucking back and forth
- 8:19Speaker 2: to our lockers or we had like planned two classes ahead.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And oh, that's so fascinating.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah to me, we didn't have back We couldn't use backpacks.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Either, So they had backpacks for a while for like
- 8:30Speaker 3: the last few years, and now this is the return
- 8:33Speaker 3: to no backpack.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 3: And so it was like, okay, cool, let's like get
- 8:37Speaker 3: the lay of the land. So we get there and
- 8:41Speaker 3: I realized that I'm an annoying mom. And on some level,
- 8:46Speaker 3: I think I always know that, but as we got
- 8:49Speaker 3: to each class room. Oh. The other thing was because
- 8:53Speaker 3: Aiden started the school year after spring break last year
- 8:57Speaker 3: in eighth grade, right, and he they did registration for
- 9:02Speaker 3: high school.
- 9:02Speaker 1: He wasn't there for that. He missed that because they
- 9:04Speaker 1: did that in January. So when we went.
- 9:07Speaker 3: To freshman orientation, he didn't have a printed out schedule,
- 9:11Speaker 3: like because they were like, oh, we didn't even think
- 9:13Speaker 3: you existed, and so we had to do like pick
- 9:17Speaker 3: the elective, da da da. So he only the schedule
- 9:19Speaker 3: only exists on my phone. At this point, I will
- 9:23Speaker 3: print it out. So but we're going through and he's like,
- 9:26Speaker 3: why didn't you send me the schedule because now I
- 9:28Speaker 3: look like I don't know what I'm doing.
- 9:30Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, yeah, I should have done that. Sorry.
- 9:32Speaker 3: And then as we met the teachers, they would ask
- 9:35Speaker 3: him a question and I'm so annoying and I would
- 9:38Speaker 3: answer it and then it was like, I'm sorry.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I know you're a grown man. You could and he's like, yuh,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm Aiden. Like it was just and I couldn't help myself.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I thought after the first one.
- 9:48Speaker 3: And like his teacher was very nice and she was like,
- 9:51Speaker 3: oh ha ha, like it happens. And then I thought, okay, Angie,
- 9:55Speaker 3: do not try to speak up for Aiden. For the
- 9:58Speaker 3: remaining five teachers is that you meet And guess what
- 10:01Speaker 3: I did. I spoke for him everything, and every single
- 10:05Speaker 3: time I'd be like, oh wait, I'm so sorry.
- 10:07Speaker 1: And then Aiden would be like, ugh, yeah, amazing.
- 10:11Speaker 2: He's not the other one. Angie's not the seven year old,
- 10:13Speaker 2: no I.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Know, and so I felt really bad.
- 10:16Speaker 3: But that what I also realized is, oh my gosh,
- 10:20Speaker 3: I wish I were going to high school.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Because I would get so many steps in like.
- 10:25Speaker 3: All his classes, you go back and forth across the campus.
- 10:29Speaker 3: There's not a single class of his that's like right
- 10:32Speaker 3: next to each other. He just has to trek back
- 10:34Speaker 3: and forth, back and forth. And I told him, I
- 10:36Speaker 3: was like, well, at least you get your steps in
- 10:37Speaker 3: and he was like, Mom, I'm not thirty eight.
- 10:41Speaker 2: His step his step kneed during the day is probably
- 10:45Speaker 2: nowhere near what are exactly. That makes me so jealous.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Remember we talked yesterday things you missed about high school?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, needing steps. That's what today's variety big ninety
- 10:58Speaker 2: eight point seven. It's gave an Angie son Shine and
- 11:00Speaker 2: seventy seven today.
- 11:01Speaker 3: By the way, Coldplay actually helped a couple get engaged
- 11:05Speaker 3: at a concert. Really yeah, karmic balance. They don't only
- 11:08Speaker 3: out affairs, they help you start your.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Forever divorces engagements. I think in the acting world they
- 11:16Speaker 2: call that range. You know what I mean, there's wide
- 11:19Speaker 2: range right there. Look at this phonograph. If you could
- 11:25Speaker 2: have someone send you three pictures and you got to
- 11:29Speaker 2: pick whatever they are to find out if you were compatible,
- 11:33Speaker 2: as you know, like a date. Yeah, what three photos
- 11:38Speaker 2: would you want? Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 11:42Speaker 2: nine eight seven? What would you go with, Angie? Because
- 11:46Speaker 2: I think there's two that I really really want to know.
- 11:49Speaker 2: And then there's a third that's just kind of fun.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I want three shirtless selfies. No, I'm kidding, No, I
- 11:55Speaker 3: think for.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Me it would be the snack pantry of the snack drawer.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I need to know what what snacks?
- 12:01Speaker 2: What they? Yes?
- 12:02Speaker 3: Yeah that, Oh gosh, what's all your thermostat? I need
- 12:08Speaker 3: to know what I run hot? If you run hot,
- 12:11Speaker 3: then we will be okay because we'll have it on
- 12:14Speaker 3: sixty eight.
- 12:15Speaker 1: At all time.
- 12:15Speaker 2: If you have your heat on in October or something
- 12:18Speaker 2: like that, No, that's a problem. That's going to be
- 12:20Speaker 2: an issue down the road.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Yeah, thermostat.
- 12:22Speaker 3: And then oh, a screenshot of their alarms, like how
- 12:30Speaker 3: many and what time they wake up, because if you're
- 12:33Speaker 3: a super early bird, absolutely not. I might be thinking
- 12:36Speaker 3: I'm an early bird. That's for this job. On the weekends,
- 12:39Speaker 3: I'm trying to sleep in.
- 12:41Speaker 2: That's well, that's what I was going to say. They
- 12:43Speaker 2: might that might actually come back to haunt you a
- 12:45Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah, i'd see your alarms and go, I'm
- 12:49Speaker 2: not hearing this five days a week.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Okay, Well, I'm not offering those photos.
- 12:56Speaker 2: That's awesome. You know what I would do, I'd want
- 12:59Speaker 2: to see the first one I would want to see
- 13:02Speaker 2: would be like if they have any pets, because I
- 13:05Speaker 2: think that's cute. So we'll start with something fun. Do
- 13:07Speaker 2: you have any pets? Because I come with a dog,
- 13:10Speaker 2: you know, And it just is what it is. I
- 13:12Speaker 2: would want to see if I was a single man,
- 13:14Speaker 2: they're sink their kitchen sink. And now I'm not saying
- 13:19Speaker 2: there can't be a plate or two in there and
- 13:21Speaker 2: you have lunch, but if your kitchen sink is looking gross, yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 2: that's a rough one for me because Corey would be
- 13:28Speaker 2: kind of more the neat freak at our house. But
- 13:31Speaker 2: I hate dishes just sitting around, right.
- 13:35Speaker 1: So it's fine if there's like one or two.
- 13:37Speaker 2: If you hate lunch or you'd had dinner in your.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Yeah, like a pile of red flag.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's pots and pans sitting in dirty,
- 13:45Speaker 2: gross water. It's just I'm out on that. And then
- 13:48Speaker 2: you know what else i'd want to see. And once again,
- 13:52Speaker 2: it's one thing if there's Casey's pizza wrapper or whatever
- 13:57Speaker 2: sitting in there, But if you drive around in a
- 14:00Speaker 2: car that is just ankle deep in garbage, Ah, Okay,
- 14:05Speaker 2: that would be rough for me. So i'd want to
- 14:07Speaker 2: see a picture of the interior of the car. I
- 14:09Speaker 2: don't care what car it is. Yeah, that doesn't matter.
- 14:12Speaker 2: But if if there is garbage everywhere, no, I don't
- 14:17Speaker 2: want to sit in that.
- 14:18Speaker 1: That's fair, you know, that's fair.
- 14:20Speaker 3: What if for me it's the back seat that gets
- 14:23Speaker 3: disastrous because of the.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Kids, that's right, Garbage everywhere?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Yeah, well I don't I would sit there, that's true.
- 14:31Speaker 3: We're not putting game in a car in a booster.
- 14:41Speaker 3: It's time for am I the Problem, where you send
- 14:43Speaker 3: us your side of the story and we help you
- 14:45Speaker 3: figure out if you are right or if maybe, just
- 14:49Speaker 3: maybe you are the problem. So we've got Connor who
- 14:53Speaker 3: wrote into us. And by the way, if you ever
- 14:55Speaker 3: want to get our take on an am I the Problem,
- 14:58Speaker 3: you can head to Big nine eight seven dot, click
- 15:00Speaker 3: the on air tab and there's a submission form right there.
- 15:03Speaker 1: All right, Hi, Gabe and Angie.
- 15:05Speaker 3: I love your show and need your take on something
- 15:08Speaker 3: for am I The Problem. I love the Angie always
- 15:10Speaker 3: keeps it real and despite Gabe saying things in a
- 15:14Speaker 3: funny way, there's usually some good advice in what both
- 15:17Speaker 3: of you are saying.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Oh, he's buttering us up because he does not want
- 15:20Speaker 1: to be the problem. That's fine, cod, We'll take it.
- 15:24Speaker 3: My girlfriend is amazing, smart, funny, and incredibly clean. She
- 15:29Speaker 3: keeps everything spotless and even stores her toothbrush in a
- 15:32Speaker 3: ziploc bag outside the bathroom.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Here's the issue.
- 15:36Speaker 3: She desperately wants kids and I do too, but she
- 15:40Speaker 3: believes she can maintain her spotless lifestyle and raise a
- 15:44Speaker 3: perfectly clean kid. I grew up around kids and know
- 15:49Speaker 3: they're messy, spills, mud accidents, It's part of growing up.
- 15:53Speaker 3: When I gently mentioned this, she accused me of being
- 15:57Speaker 3: unsupportive and looking for excuses not to have kids.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Am I wrong here? Can kids really be kept spotless?
- 16:04Speaker 4: Or?
- 16:05Speaker 3: Am I being realistic? Would love to hear what other
- 16:08Speaker 3: parents think. Thanks Connor, all right, you heard him. He
- 16:11Speaker 3: wants other parents take seven oh one two eight ozho
- 16:14Speaker 3: one nine eighty seven. Let us know what you think.
- 16:16Speaker 3: We also posted this on the Big ninety eight point
- 16:19Speaker 3: seven facebook page. Is Connor the problem for pointing out
- 16:24Speaker 3: to his girlfriend that there is no way to have
- 16:27Speaker 3: kids and keep them mess free.
- 16:30Speaker 2: One of my favorite things about the emails we receive
- 16:32Speaker 2: for am I the problem is the little adjectives that
- 16:35Speaker 2: are always added in these to make the person writing
- 16:38Speaker 2: it look better.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Hello, we are taking just their side, that's right.
- 16:43Speaker 2: But it's like when I gently mentioned right, right, wow, Jennal,
- 16:48Speaker 2: were we? But I digress. Either way, there's no way
- 16:52Speaker 2: she's correct, right. Kids are just messy. That's just how
- 16:55Speaker 2: they play outside. They play in dirt, they fingerpaint, they puke.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You know, there's no way.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Yes, that is technically correct.
- 17:03Speaker 2: However, she can maintain that level of clean, she can
- 17:07Speaker 2: want it to be right, mm hmm. But there's just no.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Way, Gabe, I have a different take than you.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Okay, I think that while he is technically right, I
- 17:18Speaker 3: have two kids.
- 17:19Speaker 1: They are messy.
- 17:20Speaker 2: You're just talking about the backseat of your car being gross, Yeah.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Exactly, and the kitchen island always a disaster. All I
- 17:27Speaker 3: do is spend my life cleaning. So he is correct.
- 17:30Speaker 3: It is impossible to raise mess free children. However, even
- 17:35Speaker 3: though he's technically right, bro, keep that to yourself. Keep
- 17:39Speaker 3: that to yourself. Let her find out herself. Okay, you
- 17:44Speaker 3: don't have to say it. Do you want to have kids?
- 17:47Speaker 1: Yes, he said that he wants to have kids, So like,
- 17:50Speaker 1: what does it matter? Right now? She's living under the
- 17:52Speaker 1: delusion that the kids will be clean. Let her have that.
- 17:57Speaker 3: You know, there's so much that I believed when I
- 17:59Speaker 3: was pregnant with my kids that I was going to
- 18:01Speaker 3: do as a mom, that the kids were going to
- 18:03Speaker 3: be this way and that way. And guess what, I
- 18:04Speaker 3: was incorrect. I was working on all counts, but I
- 18:08Speaker 3: had the kids. You adapt, you adjust, and that's fine.
- 18:11Speaker 3: People change, people grow, they adapt. So no, sir, I
- 18:15Speaker 3: don't care how gently you mentioned this to her. You
- 18:19Speaker 3: shouldn't have said anything, Connor, Okay, because at the end
- 18:22Speaker 3: of the day, if she wants kids and you want
- 18:24Speaker 3: kids and you're on the same page there, you can
- 18:27Speaker 3: keep the rest of that to yourself.
- 18:29Speaker 2: In a weird way. That's sneakily. I don't want to.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I don't know if I'd go as far as saying manipulative,
- 18:35Speaker 2: but sneakily very smart of you.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Yeah, sometimes I have a brain.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yeah, don't talk your way out of it.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Yeah, just let her believe whatever she wants. Okay. Connor
- 18:51Speaker 3: wants to know if he's the problem with his girlfriend.
- 18:55Speaker 3: So they both want to have kids.
- 18:58Speaker 1: But she is.
- 18:59Speaker 3: A clean freak essentially, and she's convinced that when they
- 19:03Speaker 3: have kids, she can keep everything mess free. He has
- 19:08Speaker 3: gently I put that in quotes.
- 19:10Speaker 1: That's what he.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Said, told her, Uh, hello, you cannot be mess free
- 19:14Speaker 3: when you have kids.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Is he the problem?
- 19:17Speaker 2: He did what dudes do and went about something very
- 19:20Speaker 2: logically and was like, that's not doable. Yeah, it's impossible, YadA, YadA, YadA,
- 19:25Speaker 2: not into it.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Is he the problem for letting his.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Girlfriend know, hey, it's impossible to keep kids mess free?
- 19:33Speaker 3: Or is uh she being too sensitive? I think even
- 19:37Speaker 3: though he's technically right, he should just keep his mouth shut.
- 19:42Speaker 2: That's right. I'm kind of with you on that. Now
- 19:45Speaker 2: I've come round. Oh good, I like that and just
- 19:47Speaker 2: like shut it, you know, just don't talk your way
- 19:49Speaker 2: out of it. Yeah, all right? Seven one two eight
- 19:51Speaker 2: zero one to nine eight seven. It's big ninety eight
- 19:53Speaker 2: point seven? Who's this?
- 19:54Speaker 5: Alissaskay? I agree with Angie. I had definitely different viewpoints
- 19:59Speaker 5: on things when I was pregnant and now that I'm
- 20:02Speaker 5: a parent, right, But I also agree that or also
- 20:06Speaker 5: think that kids learn by getting messy. It's like part
- 20:09Speaker 5: of life, like they did messy at school. That take care,
- 20:13Speaker 5: you know.
- 20:14Speaker 3: I agree with you wholeheartedly, and I was very foolish
- 20:17Speaker 3: when I was pregnant to think that I could keep
- 20:20Speaker 3: a tidy house and everything would be fine, And no,
- 20:23Speaker 3: I was wrong. And also, you can't control when the
- 20:26Speaker 3: baby has a big blowout that in itself is messy.
- 20:30Speaker 5: Yeah, yep, you just figure it out exactly.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I love hearing. I agree with Angie. That's the best.
- 20:40Speaker 2: There was a wonderful person we talked to today. Her
- 20:44Speaker 2: name is Angelica, and we were just kind of conversating
- 20:48Speaker 2: and she got into this unreasonable request from an ex
- 20:53Speaker 2: partner that I really wanted to share with you here
- 20:55Speaker 2: today to see if you could later if you have
- 20:58Speaker 2: an unreasonable request that you remember from an ex partner
- 21:01Speaker 2: seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven,
- 21:04Speaker 2: here's a Angelica.
- 21:06Speaker 4: One time, my partner asked me to delete every picture
- 21:09Speaker 4: of my ex from before we even met, like even
- 21:12Speaker 4: group shots from college where my act was just in
- 21:14Speaker 4: the background. Totally unreasonable, but theyfore it was for their
- 21:19Speaker 4: piece of mind.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I'm telling you the things that we do for the
- 21:24Speaker 3: peace of mind of our partner for no reason, because
- 21:26Speaker 3: sometimes I think that's unreasonable. My ex he wanted me
- 21:31Speaker 3: to not be Facebook friends with my high school sweetheart,
- 21:35Speaker 3: Daniel Clark, who I always have to say Daniel Clark.
- 21:38Speaker 1: He was never just Daniel anyway.
- 21:40Speaker 3: He he and I broke up and we met, we
- 21:44Speaker 3: got together, we broke up and then became friends. And
- 21:48Speaker 3: we had been friends for a few years before I
- 21:50Speaker 3: even met my ex. And he was like, well, I
- 21:54Speaker 3: don't like that you guys used to be together. I
- 21:57Speaker 3: think you should take him off your Facebook. And I thought, what,
- 22:00Speaker 3: like what this is so stupid, But I did it.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I did it.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Because I just didn't I just didn't want there to
- 22:08Speaker 3: be problems. But suffice it to say, like, Okay, well
- 22:11Speaker 3: me and my ex are not together anymore. And my
- 22:13Speaker 3: new boyfriend, mikey uh wished me well when I went,
- 22:17Speaker 3: and I had like a reunion with my high school
- 22:19Speaker 3: sweetheart in Vegas. So you know, different people are different,
- 22:23Speaker 3: and you gotta find the one who works for you
- 22:26Speaker 3: and doesn't make ridiculous requests for no reason.
- 22:29Speaker 2: That's right, Omar, what about your man?
- 22:32Speaker 5: I have to travel for work, and one time my
- 22:34Speaker 5: wife called me and asked me.
- 22:35Speaker 3: To come home because her son was having nightmares.
- 22:38Speaker 5: I definitely hated the fact that my son was having
- 22:40Speaker 5: bad dreams, but I was away on business in another.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Country and I couldn't come back at that moment.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I thought you needed to handle that one on.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Her own, or you know, I could talk to him
- 22:50Speaker 5: over the computer for something.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah, right, there's obviously a better way to go about it.
- 22:56Speaker 3: By the time he would even get home, like the
- 22:59Speaker 3: kid would have been awake.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Tomorrow the first day of school for many students in Fargo,
- 23:12Speaker 2: and we have been doing something with Beyond real Tea
- 23:15Speaker 2: called clear the Cart where we have asked you, if
- 23:19Speaker 2: you're a teacher, to post your wish list, your Amazon
- 23:22Speaker 2: wish list, and then everyone else try to clear off
- 23:26Speaker 2: that wish list as best as they can, whether it's
- 23:28Speaker 2: a couple bucks, a million bucks, whatever, you were able
- 23:30Speaker 2: to all forward and a big shout out. I don't
- 23:33Speaker 2: know if it's Dana. I'm assuming her name is Dana,
- 23:36Speaker 2: it's spelled da Na. She said on Facebook. A huge
- 23:40Speaker 2: thank you to Big ninety eight point seven and Beyond
- 23:43Speaker 2: Realty for their Amazon teacher wish list post. I received
- 23:48Speaker 2: this incredible surprise in the mail, WOWSA. And then she
- 23:52Speaker 2: goes on to show there's a one, two, three, four, five, six,
- 23:56Speaker 2: seven books that were I guess purchased for her and
- 23:59Speaker 2: TheRoom at her school, and I just thought it was
- 24:03Speaker 2: super cool to see this thing we have been talking
- 24:06Speaker 2: about and the importance behind it and how important it
- 24:10Speaker 2: is to try to help out teachers who help out
- 24:12Speaker 2: our students every day. It was just really cool to see.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I guess it's sort of come to fruition. I mean,
- 24:18Speaker 2: I know people have been doing it, but it was
- 24:19Speaker 2: very nice of her to post that and let us
- 24:21Speaker 2: know about it. So a big thank you to Dana,
- 24:24Speaker 2: and we'll just say.
- 24:25Speaker 1: M yeah, And we couldn't do it without you, obviously.
- 24:28Speaker 3: You are the ones who have gone into the comments
- 24:31Speaker 3: and cleared carts and we appreciate you so much.
- 24:35Speaker 2: That's right, And the world is full of nice people.
- 24:37Speaker 2: If you can't find one, you got to be one.
