- 0:02Speaker0: Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Eye Opener Society. I wanted to start off
- 0:07Speaker0: by saying thank you to everybody who's been listening. We've been having some
- 0:10Speaker0: really great shows as of late.
- 0:13Speaker0: We've got the introduction of Elaine's Arcane Oracle. We have Sunset Child's Out There podcast.
- 0:20Speaker0: And most recently, we have the really, really great episode,
- 0:25Speaker0: the very first podcast from Ann Lund, Haunted and Waiting.
- 0:30Speaker0: And it is such a great show and we really appreciate everybody that's been tuning
- 0:33Speaker0: in and listening. It is much appreciated.
- 0:37Speaker0: In case you missed the last episode, I will remind everybody again,
- 0:41Speaker0: Hannah is on kind of a hiatus from the show.
- 0:44Speaker0: We can't talk too much about it, but Hannah cannot sit in on these shows with me.
- 0:49Speaker0: However, I still want to have a co-host every now and then.
- 0:54Speaker0: And tonight we got a really special guest co-host.
- 1:01Speaker0: The author of the podcast, Ann Lund's Haunted and Waiting.
- 1:06Speaker0: We have Ann Lund sitting next to
- 1:08Speaker0: me, who's going to be joining in for this episode. Ann Lund, how are you?
- 1:13Speaker1: I am fine. I'm very excited to be here also. So thank you for having me back.
- 1:18Speaker0: You're very welcome. And it's always great to have you on the show. That is for sure.
- 1:22Speaker0: And I want to just first tell you again, congratulations. I know I've been saying
- 1:27Speaker0: this so often, but congratulations on your very first podcast.
- 1:31Speaker0: The amount of listens, it's incredible. And you've done such a fine job on it, too.
- 1:37Speaker1: Thank you. Thank you so much. It was fun to do, actually. I didn't think it
- 1:40Speaker1: was going to be that fun, but it was absolutely a blast.
- 1:43Speaker0: You'll see it gets addictive and then you want to start getting more into the
- 1:46Speaker0: podcast and you start spending more money like me and getting all this equipment.
- 1:51Speaker0: But yeah, you're doing so well with it. But I approached you with the idea a while back.
- 1:57Speaker0: I'll never forget it because I was actually sitting out in my little meditation
- 2:00Speaker0: spot in the outdoors and I called you up and I was like, listen,
- 2:03Speaker0: I would really like for you to do a podcast.
- 2:08Speaker0: And we were going back and forth for a while. But not only did you agree,
- 2:12Speaker0: but you also then turned me on to Sunset Child as well.
- 2:17Speaker0: And I called Sunset Child and I told her, I said, listen, she really,
- 2:23Speaker0: she just started rambling off like the way she does about, you know,
- 2:26Speaker0: the UFOs and all the conspiracies.
- 2:28Speaker0: And I sat there and I said, you know, I said, I was kind of expecting you to do that.
- 2:33Speaker0: I said, that's why I want to offer you a spot as well. so sunset child just
- 2:37Speaker0: went ahead um so it's basically we're all connected you me sunset child we all
- 2:43Speaker0: have these podcasts now we're.
- 2:45Speaker1: Like a web
- 2:46Speaker0: We certainly are yeah and
- 2:50Speaker0: it's a web i'm really glad to be caught in because um
- 2:53Speaker0: i think we're providing a lot of information
- 2:56Speaker0: to people from different perspectives um your
- 3:00Speaker0: thoughts your beliefs are different than most people mine are
- 3:03Speaker0: different from most sunset child is different from everybody and um
- 3:07Speaker0: even elaine from arcane oracle i mean she's doing a horoscope she has this gift
- 3:11Speaker0: of the intuition where she can read these cards and horoscopes as well as she
- 3:15Speaker0: does so we're all offering something on this platform that you know is a little
- 3:20Speaker0: bit for everyone and i appreciate everybody's contributions,
- 3:25Speaker0: but you doing the podcast though uh this those first stories though um any chance
- 3:31Speaker0: that's going to wind up in your book that you're trying to publish.
- 3:35Speaker1: Probably not. Probably not. So I, you know, I talk about the notebook that I
- 3:39Speaker1: have and I jot down all the weird experiences.
- 3:42Speaker1: So those were just experiences from that. The book is going to be different,
- 3:46Speaker1: but it's a loosely, loosely based on some of the things that I've seen when I was hiking.
- 3:52Speaker1: Um so i think i've mentioned this to you i think the woods
- 3:55Speaker1: are extremely um hunted um
- 3:58Speaker1: in that it's there's nothing that'll really distract you other than what's right
- 4:02Speaker1: there so things i tend to see things when i'm there even when i hike with my
- 4:06Speaker1: friends so again the book is based on stuff that i saw while i was hiking but
- 4:11Speaker1: i just gave it a i gave it a narrative and i gave it a story so to speak so that's great
- 4:16Speaker0: How far along are you.
- 4:18Speaker1: So i i've had two drafts
- 4:21Speaker1: so far i keep rewriting it so i'm right now working on my third draft um so
- 4:26Speaker1: when you write that's what happened it's like you you write one full draft and
- 4:30Speaker1: you go back and i'm going to tweak it so it's it's a process it's a process
- 4:34Speaker1: so probably hopefully next year um i'll have it you know some publishers hands
- 4:39Speaker1: hopefully and say whoever
- 4:41Speaker0: Gets it they better publish it because i'm dying to read this i really am but
- 4:46Speaker0: yeah writing is not easy and as a writer it's much like an artist sometimes you just never,
- 4:53Speaker0: impressed with what you have and you're always looking at you're always questioning
- 4:56Speaker0: it and changing it and it's no different than podcasting there's a lot of times
- 5:00Speaker0: i'll put out a show and i was like did i really say that did i really want to
- 5:03Speaker0: say that but i've learned to just go with the flow.
- 5:07Speaker0: I don't care what it sounds like. As long as you're putting your heart into
- 5:12Speaker0: it, it's always going to come out great. That's for sure.
- 5:15Speaker0: But yeah, I'm looking forward to the book for sure. And I'm always looking forward now to your podcasts.
- 5:21Speaker0: You may be delayed with the next one because I know you got a lot going on, but...
- 5:26Speaker0: I'll just let everybody know there may or may not be the next episode for maybe the later month.
- 5:32Speaker0: No big deal. That's fine. You know, I believe in patience and sometimes waiting,
- 5:37Speaker0: you know, to listen to something is going to be worth it even more.
- 5:41Speaker1: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:43Speaker0: But I liked your style. So you've done that podcast in a storyteller kind of
- 5:48Speaker0: way, which is different.
- 5:49Speaker0: And I really do appreciate that because it gave me something different to listen
- 5:54Speaker0: to because I've heard the story. I've been part of your story before in that,
- 5:59Speaker0: you know, house that you grew up in.
- 6:01Speaker0: And do you have any ideas what you want to talk about next or what direction
- 6:06Speaker0: you want to go in with the podcast? Yeah.
- 6:08Speaker1: So I've always wondered, you know, as you know, we grew up in the Bronx, right?
- 6:13Speaker1: So the one beautiful thing about the Bronx is everybody was from somewhere else, right?
- 6:17Speaker1: It wasn't like it was all Christian or it was all white. It was,
- 6:21Speaker1: everybody was, you walked into a classroom in the Bronx and everybody was like
- 6:24Speaker1: a box of crayons. Like everybody was different.
- 6:27Speaker1: And I noticed just from talking to people at that time, like the idea of,
- 6:34Speaker1: because I do ghosts, obviously I talk about the paranormal, but ghosts in specific.
- 6:38Speaker1: Each religion and culture has a different way of looking at a ghost and what exactly a ghost is.
- 6:43Speaker1: Um and so i want to delve into that with my next
- 6:46Speaker1: podcast is go into the religions and what they see
- 6:49Speaker1: a ghost as being um i think
- 6:52Speaker1: in our culture in america a lot of it is the
- 6:55Speaker1: catholic version of a ghost right it's the soul but there's so many other religions
- 7:00Speaker1: living in this country that see it differently so i'm kind of starting to do
- 7:04Speaker1: some research on that so hopefully i will get it done for um november i probably
- 7:08Speaker1: could but it would be towards the end of november um but we'll see But that's my next focus.
- 7:14Speaker0: Well, that would be great. I know a while back, Hannah and I,
- 7:18Speaker0: we were talking about that different religions as far as death and dying and that entire process.
- 7:24Speaker0: Every religion and cultures, they have different ways of celebrating it.
- 7:28Speaker0: And I would find it fascinating with your research as well as to,
- 7:32Speaker0: you know, seeing what you come up with as far as it'll be a really interesting show.
- 7:36Speaker0: That is a good way to lead
- 7:40Speaker0: your audience into you know the next step because i feel
- 7:43Speaker0: when it's coming to telling stories like
- 7:46Speaker0: you do everything's going to change you're going to have different stories
- 7:49Speaker0: and they're going to be on um you know told in
- 7:52Speaker0: a different way and so having all these different
- 7:55Speaker0: options i think it's going to be great and your audience should definitely
- 7:58Speaker0: be hanging on to their edges of their seat for hopefully in
- 8:01Speaker0: november i'm going to unfortunately right okay you could do that to me it's
- 8:06Speaker0: fine but we were i know off the air uh you and i were talking because um i know
- 8:13Speaker0: you were looking you know trying to get a topic going for this year episode
- 8:17Speaker0: but i said you know we're just doing conversation style because conversation,
- 8:21Speaker0: builds different topics while we talk but you had mentioned something about
- 8:25Speaker0: um a book that you were looking at that you just purchased and you haven't read
- 8:28Speaker0: but yet i read and i based most of my life on it.
- 8:30Speaker1: Yes i was actually it was really funny i was just um scrolling through youtube
- 8:36Speaker1: and whatever and i came across i i don't know how to pronounce it the cabalian
- 8:40Speaker1: am i saying it right yeah the
- 8:41Speaker0: Yeah the cabalian cabalian i believe
- 8:44Speaker0: it is yeah i don't even know how to really pronounce it and i by it.
- 8:46Speaker1: Yeah but it's a really fascinating so
- 8:50Speaker1: i haven't read the book it's i ordered it on amazon it's probably
- 8:53Speaker1: coming today because i'm taking a flight and i figured i'll
- 8:56Speaker1: be able to read this you know if it's stuff like this i could
- 8:59Speaker1: read it enough but like i get just i get
- 9:01Speaker1: just drawn in um but i like the
- 9:04Speaker1: points about the the everything's like
- 9:07Speaker1: a two-sided right so i had
- 9:10Speaker1: explained like there's like the yin and the yang right you can't have this without that
- 9:13Speaker1: um and the manifestation of the tenants i think there was like seven they talk
- 9:19Speaker1: about seven tenants um i don't know much about it so it sounds brief what i'm
- 9:25Speaker1: saying because i don't know much but um i'd love to hear if you have any information
- 9:29Speaker1: about it like i'm gonna read it um
- 9:31Speaker0: Yeah i while back you know i i consider myself still um a practicing pagan i
- 9:38Speaker0: don't follow any one religion um i believe even all religions,
- 9:43Speaker0: because I think there is basis on all of them.
- 9:45Speaker0: But I, I went to a psychic, my friend Jen from MindsEyeMetaphysical,
- 9:51Speaker0: MindsEyeMetaphysical.com, by the way.
- 9:54Speaker0: But she has a good friend who works with the shop and he does psychic readings.
- 10:00Speaker0: And I was curious about a past life. Now,
- 10:03Speaker0: he doesn't really do much as far as past life regression, but he can intuitively
- 10:08Speaker0: look and you know see what you were possibly in a past life and he told me I was an alchemist.
- 10:16Speaker0: And so I wanted to get into that, and I started reading up on it,
- 10:20Speaker0: and it really does coincide with the hermetic principles.
- 10:24Speaker0: And the whole Kabayian book gives all the principles of it.
- 10:29Speaker0: So I was reading it, and as I was reading it, I said, wow, this here really
- 10:34Speaker0: falls in line with not only my way of thinking, but it also falls in line with
- 10:39Speaker0: pagan beliefs as well, and the alchemy beliefs.
- 10:44Speaker0: So as you look at it, you're absolutely right. it just basically explains that
- 10:48Speaker0: everything is two-sided.
- 10:50Speaker0: There's a dark, there's a light, there's going to be an upswing on your life,
- 10:53Speaker0: there's going to be happy, there's going to be sad, there's going to be death,
- 10:56Speaker0: there's going to be life.
- 10:57Speaker0: It's, you know, as above, so below. And as you read these, and it's not necessarily
- 11:04Speaker0: a religion, but it's a philosophy that you can apply to religions.
- 11:08Speaker0: And that's what I've been doing. And that's how I've been living my life.
- 11:10Speaker0: So yeah, the manifestation, you know, the way you feel, the way you think it
- 11:15Speaker0: manifests, you know, so if you're thinking negative thoughts,
- 11:18Speaker0: you're going to have a negative life.
- 11:20Speaker0: And that book actually does bring that to light as well.
- 11:24Speaker0: So yeah, I was the same way I read right through it is really great reading
- 11:29Speaker0: went through it really quick.
- 11:30Speaker0: So I'm thinking you're going to enjoy that.
- 11:34Speaker0: And I think you yourself, too,
- 11:36Speaker0: I think you already apply some of those principles already to your life.
- 11:39Speaker0: I could tell you that's why you're going to read it like shock,
- 11:41Speaker0: like, wow, this is, you know, there's a basis to why I feel this way.
- 11:46Speaker0: It was written so, so long ago. And I'm the same way.
- 11:49Speaker0: I think ancient religions were so much more closer to their source back then than we are now.
- 11:58Speaker1: Yes. And I think I could be wrong about this, but what I read a little bit about
- 12:03Speaker1: with that book is they were kind of talking about...
- 12:09Speaker1: Everybody has a true self, right? So you're, if, and if you're,
- 12:13Speaker1: if you're not living your true self, you're going to, you're going to be miserable.
- 12:16Speaker1: You could make a million dollars. You could have a gorgeous house,
- 12:19Speaker1: you know, a sweet wife, whatever.
- 12:21Speaker1: Um, but you are, you have a true self and you have to, you have to find what that is.
- 12:26Speaker1: And you have to, if you can get a job working with your true self,
- 12:30Speaker1: you're going to be happy.
- 12:32Speaker1: And I think that's, that's a lot. I think you've mentioned it in the past.
- 12:36Speaker1: I think sometimes when you have a, if you're working in a job and it could drain
- 12:39Speaker1: you, right? Because it's not something that's inherently yours, right?
- 12:44Speaker1: So I got a little blurb about that.
- 12:49Speaker0: Right, which is maybe why I should be an alchemist rather than doing what I'm doing now.
- 12:53Speaker0: It could be the whole reason. Yeah, but you're right.
- 12:57Speaker0: And that's life. And you and I, I think we kind of see things in the same way, really.
- 13:03Speaker0: We basically apply our principles and
- 13:06Speaker0: our philosophies towards that same thing manifestation positivity
- 13:11Speaker0: nature the outdoors we're surrounded
- 13:14Speaker0: by so much artificial stuff that we become
- 13:17Speaker0: products of that environment but you and i we see past
- 13:20Speaker0: that you know we understand meditation and how well it
- 13:23Speaker0: is and the beneficial factors of it too as well so
- 13:26Speaker0: yeah and meditation too for you
- 13:29Speaker0: know the audience i know i haven't spoken about in a while and i'm trying
- 13:32Speaker0: to bring that back because it is and especially right now this day and age and
- 13:37Speaker0: especially now this election time there's so much energy going on and a lot
- 13:41Speaker0: of it is not good a lot of it is very negative we need to apply ourselves more
- 13:47Speaker0: to this meditation to elevate not only ourselves but everybody else around us.
- 13:54Speaker1: Yeah i don't think a lot of people really understand what
- 13:57Speaker1: meditation is i really don't think they really
- 14:01Speaker1: understand what it is when you can get into that zone you know
- 14:04Speaker1: and it takes you're not going to get the the
- 14:08Speaker1: for me the purpose of meditation isn't meeting yourself right and
- 14:11Speaker1: kind of going in all the answers to the
- 14:13Speaker1: outside are inside like and if you can
- 14:16Speaker1: focus and everybody will say oh you
- 14:19Speaker1: know i and i try i can't do it my head's i'm thinking
- 14:22Speaker1: about everything i said that's exactly what you need to do because if
- 14:25Speaker1: you cannot focus for a second with yourself then
- 14:28Speaker1: that's a problem you have to really try but i
- 14:31Speaker1: i know gary you've said it that you can
- 14:34Speaker1: actually get into that zone when you meditate and
- 14:37Speaker1: it doesn't happen overnight it takes weeks months years to be able to do that
- 14:42Speaker1: but once you get to do that it becomes so addicting that you find that you have
- 14:48Speaker1: to set aside the time to do it like it's it just becomes very addicting you know yes
- 14:54Speaker0: It does and And honestly, I don't even remember like the last time I went into
- 14:59Speaker0: that zone, but I've been in that zone. I've learned...
- 15:04Speaker0: To place myself there and then just live life in that zone.
- 15:09Speaker0: What's interesting is like I walk around in a bubble now.
- 15:13Speaker0: I'm in that meditative state almost constantly. There are things that kind of
- 15:18Speaker0: snap me out of it, unfortunately, but we are still human.
- 15:22Speaker0: We are still subjected to emotions and all and anger and such,
- 15:27Speaker0: and it will break me out of it,
- 15:29Speaker0: but I'm able to go right back into it it's kind
- 15:32Speaker0: of like that bubbles kind of like energy and
- 15:35Speaker0: that's the way i see it as and when things are able
- 15:38Speaker0: to penetrate it it kind of breaks down that energy but
- 15:42Speaker0: it builds right back up and i can go slip right back
- 15:45Speaker0: into it but again this is stuff that takes practice for
- 15:48Speaker0: a long time i don't know how i did it i don't know when it
- 15:51Speaker0: actually happened but yeah i slipped into that zone and
- 15:53Speaker0: i decided let me stay here you know why keep going back into
- 15:57Speaker0: it and i'm trying now especially
- 16:00Speaker0: now with everything going on behind the scenes eye opener society um
- 16:04Speaker0: i try now to better myself and that's what it's about it's removing that ego
- 16:09Speaker0: not really seeing yourself anymore that you are just energy and you are part
- 16:14Speaker0: of this world so and everybody has a different way of looking at meditation
- 16:18Speaker0: as well so that's just my way of looking at it yeah.
- 16:22Speaker1: Yeah i i i can't stay in the
- 16:25Speaker1: zone like you can i can't i but i there i
- 16:28Speaker1: can get into it but it's usually only for a few
- 16:31Speaker1: minutes and then and it's weird because when you
- 16:34Speaker1: feel yourself slipping into it you're like i'm there i'm there i'm there but
- 16:37Speaker1: then once you start thinking that you're there it's you're just as soon as there
- 16:40Speaker1: you're out you're back out again but when you're there it's it's just such an
- 16:45Speaker1: amazing feeling it just really is a great feeling um you know it's just hard
- 16:49Speaker1: to find time during the day But like I said,
- 16:52Speaker1: if you start, it becomes addicting. It really does.
- 16:55Speaker0: Right. And that's why I always encourage. I mean, if you could find that 10
- 16:58Speaker0: minutes a day at the very least to do it and start doing it and build up that
- 17:02Speaker0: addiction to it to the point where you want to be in that state all the time and get there,
- 17:09Speaker0: do it, be in that zone all the time.
- 17:11Speaker0: Like I said, I cannot live my life like a monk. I, you know,
- 17:15Speaker0: I should have started way back maybe when I was eight years old,
- 17:17Speaker0: but there's things you can still do.
- 17:21Speaker0: There's still things that you can do to remain positive and to help other people
- 17:24Speaker0: by bringing forth that positive energy, because I don't hoard it to myself.
- 17:29Speaker0: I try to let it go out and spread to whomever needs it. That's,
- 17:32Speaker0: you know, part of meditation too.
- 17:34Speaker0: It's not just about you. It's about everything around you and everyone around you.
- 17:40Speaker1: Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. So I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 17:44Speaker0: No, no, that's good. I was going to go off onto something else,
- 17:47Speaker0: but no, do you have anything else on meditation? meditation all day long.
- 17:51Speaker1: Um no no it's just i totally forgot what i was going to say anyway but um no go ahead yeah
- 17:57Speaker0: No so um,
- 17:59Speaker0: I was going to kind of leave everybody on that note, a positivity note,
- 18:03Speaker0: a positive, because I think going back maybe five, six episodes,
- 18:07Speaker0: I said it's time to start being more positive because right now the world is collapsing.
- 18:12Speaker0: There's a lot going on that we're not really, you know, we can't really see
- 18:17Speaker0: unless you are kind of awakened. And I think that's one of the big things with the meditation.
- 18:22Speaker0: You become much more aware of what's going on around you. And sometimes everybody
- 18:25Speaker0: thinks, well, you're in this great zone and such positive energy and you must
- 18:30Speaker0: be happy all the time. And that's not the case.
- 18:33Speaker0: You see more of the negative energy and it becomes much more prevalent when
- 18:39Speaker0: you're out and about in everyday life.
- 18:41Speaker0: It actually saddens you to see these things because you see yourself as the
- 18:47Speaker0: good and the positive, but nobody else wants to open up to it.
- 18:51Speaker0: So that's, I think, what's happening. And that's why I've been trying to help
- 18:54Speaker0: with, you know, the eye opener society audience is to remain more positive and
- 19:00Speaker0: start believing in it and start believing in yourself because this nonsense
- 19:02Speaker0: is, oh, I can't do it. I can't meditate.
- 19:05Speaker0: Once you start saying you can't, that's going to right away shut all the doors.
- 19:09Speaker0: You have to start thinking positive. Yes, I can. I can do it.
- 19:13Speaker1: Yeah. And I like that you said that because that is true. Once you start meditating,
- 19:17Speaker1: it's almost like you start weeding out some of the pointless stuff in your life.
- 19:22Speaker1: Things like, you know, I was talking to sunset child. Um, and it was funny because
- 19:26Speaker1: she kind of agreed with me, those things that you used to find.
- 19:30Speaker1: So like stress over it almost, they don't matter anymore.
- 19:34Speaker1: You know, like you could, you could go into work and find out maybe that you might lose your job.
- 19:39Speaker1: And it kind of, it's not like you're not concerned about it,
- 19:41Speaker1: but it doesn't, it's not as important as it once was because you start seeing
- 19:46Speaker1: things that are a little bit more important. And like you said, being grateful.
- 19:50Speaker1: I wake up every morning and I forgot which philosophy this was.
- 19:54Speaker1: I have so many philosophies that I forget where I got them.
- 19:56Speaker1: But this one particular one, I wake up in the morning and just come up with
- 20:01Speaker1: three things that you're very grateful for before you even get out of bed.
- 20:06Speaker1: So you just kind of open your eyes and you're like, okay, I'm up.
- 20:08Speaker1: What am I grateful for? It could be the silliest thing. Like I have a dog.
- 20:12Speaker1: It could be um, you know, I have a roof over my head.
- 20:17Speaker1: Um, you know, the blanket smells good, like whatever, it just,
- 20:21Speaker1: just three things. And that just sets your day positive.
- 20:25Speaker1: Um, and it works. It's a lot better than getting up and going,
- 20:28Speaker1: ah, 20 minutes, I got to, you know, get downstairs and get in the car and then
- 20:33Speaker1: I got to go to work and then I got this meeting.
- 20:35Speaker1: And so I, I find that once I started meditating and being a little bit more
- 20:39Speaker1: grateful, the day just kind of goes by and things bother me less.
- 20:44Speaker1: And it's just really healthy. It's a healthy way to be.
- 20:48Speaker1: And your mind is also much clearer, right? Because you don't have all this noise
- 20:53Speaker1: going on. It's just clearer.
- 20:55Speaker0: Yeah, you are so correct because you don't know how many countless times I woke
- 21:00Speaker0: up because, again, I'm still in a job that I don't want to be.
- 21:04Speaker0: It's coming near the end.
- 21:05Speaker0: And I'll wake up when that alarm goes off and I start really sometimes cursing the day.
- 21:11Speaker0: And when I do that, because I'm just not in the right mindset,
- 21:16Speaker0: my day winds up becoming worse than it should be.
- 21:21Speaker0: It's a miserable day. So I do I got to kind of remind myself when that alarm
- 21:25Speaker0: goes off just say okay It's another day and like you said some sort of positive
- 21:30Speaker0: affirmations in me I'm, just starting out.
- 21:32Speaker0: You know what? This is going to be a good day No matter what happens.
- 21:36Speaker0: It's going to be good and when I do that The entire day is much different and
- 21:42Speaker0: I still get annoyed at work But instead of it being this big it's only this
- 21:46Speaker0: big it becomes a much smaller problem and it's much more solvable.
- 21:50Speaker0: And like you said, you have a much clearer head.
- 21:53Speaker0: And I wind up looking forward to the end of the day now when I get home and the day goes by quicker.
- 21:59Speaker0: So I'm not at work as long as I thought I would.
- 22:02Speaker1: Yeah, yeah, it's true. It's absolutely true. And even just to treat people,
- 22:05Speaker1: I think another practice is try to treat the people that are maybe not nice to you.
- 22:10Speaker1: If you kind of meet them with niceness, that kind of sometimes throws them off kilter.
- 22:15Speaker1: And it's like another thing, Like I try not to let them drag me into that,
- 22:20Speaker1: you know, into that negative space and any, if any job that you're going to
- 22:24Speaker1: have, you're going to have negative people, right.
- 22:25Speaker1: Or angry people. And I just try to just meet those people with,
- 22:31Speaker1: um, as calm or as kind of a personality as I can meet with them,
- 22:36Speaker1: you know, and that, that also makes my day a lot better.
- 22:39Speaker1: Um, and that all came from meditation, by the way, all of that.
- 22:42Speaker1: So all of this stuff, you learn that you have so much knowledge inside of you. You don't need
- 22:48Speaker1: Reach out for knowledge. Everything you need is in you. I really strongly believe
- 22:53Speaker1: that, you know, you, you know, so yes, it's important to read and get all of that.
- 22:58Speaker0: But, um, but it's going to be a starting point in meditation.
- 23:01Speaker0: Is that starting point yeah well listen
