- 0:07Speaker 2: up with Stranger Things season.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Five and What's up y'all?
- 0:22Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of the four All Nerds show.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Its ship boy DJ Ben I.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Mean aka Meek Millhouse, Lebron Shane, Patrick Swale, keep that
- 0:32Speaker 2: same inner drawn when you see me, Quantum Leach, Buzz
- 0:37Speaker 2: out you Big Dick Grayson Energy here in the spaceship
- 0:40Speaker 2: tonightregious just a bit, and as always I'm.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Joined by Tatiana King the Granted is a tech also
- 0:50Speaker 3: known as Dark Chocolate Phoenix, Tatiana Hannah, the King, Tatiana Kang,
- 0:54Speaker 3: the Conqueror, the King of the North, Testa Thompson, Gucci Man,
- 0:59Speaker 3: the Lor and Flex Luthor.
- 1:03Speaker 2: And we are back from a big holiday weekend.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I can't even say how was your you know, whatever
- 1:11Speaker 2: that holiday is, because as the years of going, I
- 1:14Speaker 2: just don't even want to recognize it. I know, you know,
- 1:17Speaker 2: people like to gather and due to capitalism, that's one
- 1:19Speaker 2: of the few weekends.
- 1:21Speaker 4: And you know, oh yeah, you know, I don't do
- 1:24Speaker 4: it for the capitalism no, but.
- 1:26Speaker 2: We are forced to gather on that weekend because of capitalism,
- 1:29Speaker 2: Like we can't even choose another weekend, Like, because I
- 1:32Speaker 2: would love to actually choose another weekend for families to
- 1:35Speaker 2: gather and stuff.
- 1:36Speaker 1: But you know, I thought it.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Was for a colonialism first, but hey, sure capitalism on
- 1:40Speaker 3: top of that.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Well, I mean it's always capitalism to drive colonialism. What
- 1:44Speaker 2: I'm saying is like, because recently I've been made aware
- 1:47Speaker 2: by you know, First American people that there is no
- 1:51Speaker 2: way to cleanse the holiday. You know, there's no way
- 1:54Speaker 2: to like gather on the holiday and say, well, we're gathering,
- 1:57Speaker 2: and you know, we're not gathering because of that, you know,
- 2:00Speaker 2: because the history is study.
- 2:01Speaker 1: They were like, let us have this as a day of.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Mourning and then you choose another day, you know, as
- 2:08Speaker 2: a day of gathering. But due to capitalism and the
- 2:12Speaker 2: way the world works, it's very difficult for other people
- 2:15Speaker 2: to choose another day of gathering.
- 2:18Speaker 1: And so we still gather during that weekend.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Yes, and I did gather with my family also, and
- 2:27Speaker 4: you know, all of that is absolutely true.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I also know, like you mentioned, you know, maybe even
- 2:32Speaker 3: doing it on different days whatever that especially ethnic families
- 2:35Speaker 3: do it do things a little differently. You know, the
- 2:40Speaker 3: initial I guess approach of what it was for was
- 2:42Speaker 3: not what we follow And I know that doesn't cleanse
- 2:44Speaker 3: or erase anything of the history of it.
- 2:48Speaker 4: That's just the approach that we take. But yeah, it
- 2:50Speaker 4: is a day of gathering for us. It is a
- 2:52Speaker 4: day where I got to.
- 2:53Speaker 3: See family members, typically family members that I don't see
- 2:55Speaker 3: every day, so we get to you know, travel, hang
- 2:59Speaker 3: up with them. So, you know, did the thing, did
- 3:01Speaker 3: the extra food, math food, did the games, the family games,
- 3:04Speaker 3: did the I mean, it's actually one of my favorite
- 3:07Speaker 3: times because as mentioned, I'm really big into family, my
- 3:10Speaker 3: family particularly, and I.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Was really happy to see that I didn't see you
- 3:14Speaker 4: all of them, but just you know enough where it
- 3:16Speaker 4: was good to fellowship.
- 3:18Speaker 2: M Yeah, I definitely got to see family. It was
- 3:21Speaker 2: very good as well. I had a great time. But
- 3:24Speaker 2: I've definitely been this year especially it's been holding a
- 3:27Speaker 2: lot over my head. As people know, this year I
- 3:30Speaker 2: got to visit a farm and do some work there
- 3:33Speaker 2: with land restoration and things of that nature, and so
- 3:37Speaker 2: it's been really big on me this year. So I've
- 3:40Speaker 2: been really like, oh man, Dray sucks that we have
- 3:42Speaker 2: to use this data should be the hell this morning
- 3:46Speaker 2: for our families together. And we're just over eating big
- 3:48Speaker 2: and everything. But you know it is really eat big
- 3:51Speaker 2: and enjoy each other's company. And I did get to
- 3:54Speaker 2: do that, So thankful for all that. So that was great.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And you know there are traditions andarticularly the Black American
- 4:01Speaker 3: experience that happened. You know, you get on that walk
- 4:04Speaker 3: with your cousin. You you know, the either the spade
- 4:07Speaker 3: game of the owner game that get out of hand.
- 4:09Speaker 3: You know, the typical stuff that's always nice and fun
- 4:12Speaker 3: and memories like it's good memory building, core memories.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I was really tight because my nephews they have like
- 4:19Speaker 2: every version of UNO.
- 4:21Speaker 4: They couldn't find regular, they could have.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Find none of them joints don't they have like every
- 4:26Speaker 2: and you know, these little demons. Just last year we
- 4:29Speaker 2: were over there. I think last year we were there
- 4:31Speaker 2: for Christmas year because I went down to Houston for
- 4:34Speaker 2: Thanks trimings, So we were over there for Christmas last year.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And these demons.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Had these joints where no longer yeah this is no
- 4:42Speaker 2: longer draw for it is draw twenty oh.
- 4:46Speaker 3: He has the one where you write it in yes, right,
- 4:49Speaker 3: no Mercy two of them there's there's no No Mercy
- 4:53Speaker 3: was the new joint that had new cars, and then
- 4:55Speaker 3: one where you could actually write in like it's blink
- 4:57Speaker 3: cars you write in.
- 4:58Speaker 2: They have they have every different version of you can imagine,
- 5:01Speaker 2: and they don't find them. Yeah, they it's it's an
- 5:05Speaker 2: evil game. It's such a dirty game in the words
- 5:07Speaker 2: of truth.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Yes it is, and it's one of my favorite games
- 5:11Speaker 4: in the world.
- 5:11Speaker 3: And yes it does break up happy homes, I will
- 5:14Speaker 3: say that, but.
- 5:16Speaker 4: You know, sometimes it's worth it. It's worth experience.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I saw that Bu Tang has a Wu Tang monopoly set.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Now, yes, that just got announced recently.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Cop.
- 5:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, listen, you're talking about capitalism.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Like I might at the cop. You know, cash rules
- 5:30Speaker 2: everything around me before all right.
- 5:32Speaker 3: All right, hey listen, it is what is so you
- 5:35Speaker 3: couldn't find it? You know what game did you play?
- 5:37Speaker 3: Like my family we played Taboo. That's our thing again.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Another another game in the in the Black American Experience.
- 5:43Speaker 4: The African American Experience captures.
- 5:45Speaker 2: The African American Experience.
- 5:47Speaker 4: My Home Boyfriend, Captain American and Winter Soldier series.
- 5:51Speaker 1: He's out of line but he's right.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Barons Emo, thank you. Taboo is one of them where
- 5:55Speaker 4: because again it's another thing where it just it just
- 5:58Speaker 4: causes problems for all the right comedic reasons. So I
- 6:02Speaker 4: appreciate that. What game did you guys end up playing?
- 6:04Speaker 3: We ended up playing no games as kind of make
- 6:07Speaker 3: up a game, like, well, even get some cards or
- 6:10Speaker 3: I distressed this.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Pretty pat No.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I distressed this on our review of Avatar, Fire and Ash.
- 6:19Speaker 2: But these kids on that side of my family are.
- 6:24Speaker 1: All of the age.
- 6:25Speaker 2: They're all teenagers and plus, so they're of the age.
- 6:30Speaker 2: If it's not presented to them immediately, they go into
- 6:33Speaker 2: their own world, you know.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So it's like, oh, we ain't got no phone, you know,
- 6:38Speaker 1: f y'all.
- 6:38Speaker 4: You know, games, no video games, no, you know what.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I don't know what was going on because normally they
- 6:44Speaker 2: are always down the bus out of the video games. Yeah,
- 6:47Speaker 2: and they, you know, were playing this weekend, but they
- 6:49Speaker 2: did not break out anything with me. You know, I
- 6:51Speaker 2: wanted to get on some NBA with them something, but
- 6:55Speaker 2: nothing happened. So I just let it be, you know.
- 6:57Speaker 2: They they were heavy on their phones this weekend. It
- 7:00Speaker 2: was it was one of those sad moments you know
- 7:03Speaker 2: as an uncle where you're like, damn, you know, they
- 7:06Speaker 2: don't care anymore. I mean they do, but you know
- 7:09Speaker 2: the phone has absorbed them.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know. It was rough. It was.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It was rough.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I can't lie because it was. It was definitely that
- 7:15Speaker 1: moment where I.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Was like, they don't appreciate these moments, you know, they
- 7:19Speaker 2: you know, they don't know what you know.
- 7:21Speaker 3: You know, y'all need to y'all need to get overcooked.
- 7:25Speaker 3: The game Overcooked. That's another family household breaking game, Like really,
- 7:29Speaker 3: you getting bad arguments all that shit, But it is
- 7:32Speaker 3: a multiplayer family game, and there's something that will keep
- 7:35Speaker 3: everybody's attention.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we need something. I'll look into that for the
- 7:39Speaker 2: next time I go. They cooked. They're definitely heavy on
- 7:42Speaker 2: the game, and they're definitely heavy on anime. I did
- 7:45Speaker 2: talk to my nephew and put them onto a Her
- 7:48Speaker 2: because he is, you know, modern anime. It's all they
- 7:51Speaker 2: you got to see some of the classes. I also
- 7:53Speaker 2: put them on to Blue Giant. You know, I was like,
- 7:55Speaker 2: you gotta keep this joint and the first slam dump
- 7:58Speaker 2: because they're big basketball heads, so that you got to
- 8:00Speaker 2: peat the first slam dunk it's fantastic. I also found
- 8:04Speaker 2: out recently that Netflix has the whole original Slam Dunk
- 8:07Speaker 2: series on there.
- 8:09Speaker 1: As well as well as the movie.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, as well as the movie the First slam Dunk,
- 8:13Speaker 2: So yeah, peat both of those if you have Netflix.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Also this weekend with them, I you know, attempted with
- 8:20Speaker 2: my nephews to watch I'd already seen it, but I
- 8:22Speaker 2: attempted to rewatch Stranger Themes with them because they were
- 8:25Speaker 2: very high to see it.
- 8:27Speaker 3: But they so strange. I mean, clearly, it's still very popular.
- 8:30Speaker 3: They just they just had a float in the Thanksgiving
- 8:33Speaker 3: Day Parade.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Massively popular.
- 8:35Speaker 4: It's clearly on season fifty five. The Kids is twenty
- 8:40Speaker 4: The Kids is eighty five years old. Get it.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Stop hating. It's only it's only on season five. This
- 8:48Speaker 2: is the final season.
- 8:50Speaker 5: It feels like it's been going for ye years, has
- 8:53Speaker 5: been It's it's one of the perils of streaming where
- 8:57Speaker 5: it takes two to three years in between seasons and
- 9:01Speaker 5: as well as the writers strike.
- 9:03Speaker 2: COVID Everything definitely did a number on Stranger Things. So
- 9:06Speaker 2: it's been a minute and it's taken a while for
- 9:08Speaker 2: it to finish. Like shows have started and finished in
- 9:12Speaker 2: between Stranger Things starting and finishing, so it is, you know,
- 9:16Speaker 2: an extended run for five seasons, but this is it.
- 9:21Speaker 2: The first four episodes are now out on Netflix. The
- 9:24Speaker 2: next three drop on December twenty fifth, and the finale,
- 9:27Speaker 2: which is super long because I know the fourth episode
- 9:31Speaker 2: was an hour and a half and I think the
- 9:33Speaker 2: next three are all an hour and a half each,
- 9:35Speaker 2: and then the finale, which is I'm not sure how
- 9:37Speaker 2: long but quite long, will drop on December thirty first,
- 9:40Speaker 2: so you get three more Christmas and then one in
- 9:43Speaker 2: New Year. So I myself, I'm not as lapsed as you.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I know you have not watched Stranger Things in years.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I've watched it up until you know, season four, but
- 9:53Speaker 2: I was not very Oh my god, I cannot wait
- 9:56Speaker 2: for season five.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I was why not as someone who kept up generally
- 10:00Speaker 4: kept up with.
- 10:00Speaker 2: It, because season four it has not been that good.
- 10:04Speaker 2: You know, it's been solid, but it's been diminishing returns.
- 10:08Speaker 2: As I also said about Avatar, like, first season was
- 10:11Speaker 2: amazing to me, you know, incredible. I think the second
- 10:15Speaker 2: season was like kind of weakish, and then the third
- 10:18Speaker 2: and fourth for whatever, the fourth actually was pretty dope.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I can't lie, could they introduce this character Max, who
- 10:24Speaker 2: is one of my favorite characters. And then Vecna, the
- 10:28Speaker 2: villain of the fourth season, was pretty dope, and really
- 10:31Speaker 2: it was just Max.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I can't lie.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Max and Lucas's little sister, Erica, really carried the fourth season.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I okay that season shoo, I'm looking at it now.
- 10:41Speaker 3: The season she was introduced season three. After that, that's
- 10:43Speaker 3: why I fell off.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Erica comes in season three and she's great in
- 10:46Speaker 2: season four and Max, I think it's introduced only in
- 10:49Speaker 2: season four.
- 10:50Speaker 1: She was a maze. Season four actually was dope, Max.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Max says Max Mayfield, yep. Season two to present.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Oh weird, yeah shit, Yeah that woman.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I just and I heard you saying, quote only five seasons,
- 11:03Speaker 3: but this shit's been going on for fifty years.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Well, Max and her brother are big parts of season four,
- 11:08Speaker 2: and her brother is recipes he died, but he is
- 11:12Speaker 2: the same actor who plays the human Torch now in
- 11:15Speaker 2: the MCU. So I think it was just a delay in,
- 11:21Speaker 2: you know, and waiting for season five, and that's why
- 11:24Speaker 2: some of my enthusiasm falling off. But when I did
- 11:27Speaker 2: start getting into the episodes, I loved it, you know,
- 11:31Speaker 2: it was right back. It was like, okay, I'm right
- 11:33Speaker 2: back in Hawkins. I'm loving this. I remember pretty much
- 11:37Speaker 2: everything that had gone on. I didn't really need any
- 11:39Speaker 2: refreshers or any of that stuff. It catches you right
- 11:42Speaker 2: back up.
- 11:43Speaker 4: What about stranger things keeps you into it? Like for me,
- 11:46Speaker 4: what initially drew me to it was that even though
- 11:49Speaker 4: I'm like the hugest fan, like like eighties reminiscent stuff,
- 11:52Speaker 4: it was it was just some different like horror slash,
- 11:57Speaker 4: gooney slash, like it was kind of like everything thrown
- 12:00Speaker 4: in a one with like you know one just so
- 12:03Speaker 4: just an outstanding young cast. Yeah that wasn't you know,
- 12:07Speaker 4: you didn't really see young cast doing anything like that
- 12:10Speaker 4: when they first came out. And that's what kept me going.
- 12:12Speaker 3: And the story was actually, you know, very well written
- 12:15Speaker 3: as it continued. Like I said, I was there for
- 12:17Speaker 3: like the first three seasons.
- 12:18Speaker 4: So what has kept you drawn into things?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Like and you watched verse three, you might have just
- 12:23Speaker 2: watched four and catch up because Ford is really good.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Like that was the four.
- 12:28Speaker 3: That goes to my question though, like I didn't feel
- 12:31Speaker 3: compelled anymore, Like I was just like, okay, you know
- 12:34Speaker 3: they they the upside down and like I was over it,
- 12:36Speaker 3: Like what kept you into it?
- 12:38Speaker 2: I think it was it was probably the same thing
- 12:40Speaker 2: where I didn't I wasn't compelled, and then I started
- 12:42Speaker 2: watching four, and then four was really good. That's what
- 12:46Speaker 2: it really was for me. Writing, Yeah, the writing. The
- 12:48Speaker 2: characters for Max and her brother in four are you know,
- 12:55Speaker 2: two of the best characters of the show. I have
- 12:58Speaker 2: to say it, like, I really loved them. I didn't
- 13:01Speaker 2: even realize that. I think I knew that they've both
- 13:03Speaker 2: been in it before that, but they become main characters
- 13:07Speaker 2: in four, and that's when I was like, Okay, they're great,
- 13:10Speaker 2: you know. So that really held on to me, and
- 13:12Speaker 2: so I wanted to see what happens with them and
- 13:14Speaker 2: how it all wraps up.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And so that's what really did it.
- 13:17Speaker 2: And for me, it is a lot of things, like
- 13:19Speaker 2: you said, like I am a huge fan, you know,
- 13:21Speaker 2: I grew up on that eighties era. That is like,
- 13:23Speaker 2: you know, my formative years of you know, movies especially,
- 13:26Speaker 2: so all those things that they're referencing, Goonies, you know,
- 13:30Speaker 2: are just films that I just love to death. So
- 13:33Speaker 2: that was all great and I think that held my
- 13:35Speaker 2: interests and then, like I said, four was a really
- 13:38Speaker 2: good season, so that's what really brought me back. And
- 13:41Speaker 2: even though it was a time in between where I
- 13:43Speaker 2: lost some of the enthusiasm, as soon as five started,
- 13:46Speaker 2: it got me hyped again. I wanted to find out
- 13:48Speaker 2: what happened to Max. I want to know what happens
- 13:50Speaker 2: to lucas his sister. You know, all of them, I
- 13:53Speaker 2: pretty much love them all. Nancy's Teve, Yeah, they all,
- 13:57Speaker 2: even though a lot of them are making some come
- 14:00Speaker 2: completely just ridiculous, idiotic decisions. But that also goes with
- 14:05Speaker 2: the theme and the mood and the tone of this
- 14:08Speaker 2: show where it is, you know, characters are in the
- 14:12Speaker 2: eighties in a horror film, so.
- 14:14Speaker 1: They are going to make.
- 14:17Speaker 4: How how old are supposed to be? Now?
- 14:19Speaker 1: They're all supposed to be, uh, at.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Least the kids, the main kids.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Like high schoolers, like you know, yeah, they're all in
- 14:27Speaker 2: high school.
- 14:27Speaker 4: So high school okay, so they're old. And Will he
- 14:30Speaker 4: has his powers?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Right?
- 14:32Speaker 4: Is that the nickname of Mike? I guess is that
- 14:35Speaker 4: the main one?
- 14:36Speaker 2: It's Will and Mike, Yes, allegedly, allegedly. It's all I'll
- 14:43Speaker 2: say about that. You know, allegedly, things are things are
- 14:46Speaker 2: definitely happening. There have been hints to things that are before. Oh.
- 14:51Speaker 2: One thing that I will say that is, you know,
- 14:53Speaker 2: for people who've seen it, you know, you already know,
- 14:55Speaker 2: but for people haven't seen it, so I won't spoil this,
- 14:58Speaker 2: but there is a a big callback at the end
- 15:01Speaker 2: of episode four to an episode that most people hated
- 15:06Speaker 2: and honestly people thought would never be referenced again. I
- 15:11Speaker 2: thought it would never be referenced again, and it's going
- 15:14Speaker 2: to play a big part in the last four episodes
- 15:17Speaker 2: of the season and in the series.
- 15:20Speaker 1: So that was very though I can't yeah, I want.
- 15:22Speaker 4: To reveal what well, at least the reference was what episode,
- 15:27Speaker 4: what season was it from?
- 15:30Speaker 2: It's from okay, just.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Tell me something. It was season two so.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Early I want to say the name of the episode.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Its Little Sister. It's from an episode that was meant
- 15:39Speaker 2: to be a spin off episode. It was a what
- 15:42Speaker 2: they call a backdoor pilot, when a pilot episode for
- 15:46Speaker 2: another series is introduced during the Lost Sister The Lost Sister, Yes,
- 15:52Speaker 2: that episode was meant to be a spinoff. It's when
- 15:54Speaker 2: Eleven goes off and meets her sister, who is another
- 15:58Speaker 2: woman or another young woman who has been experimented on
- 16:01Speaker 2: and we had psychic powers, and she's saying it out
- 16:03Speaker 2: in Chicago with a bunch of remember that anarchist that.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yeah, people hated it.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Because because it was like an offshoot.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Because yeah, because it characters nobody the main thing. We
- 16:15Speaker 2: don't give a fuck, Yeah we don't. Yeah, if you
- 16:16Speaker 2: want to give us a pilot for another show, give
- 16:18Speaker 2: us a pilot for another show. Yeah, don't try and backdoor,
- 16:21Speaker 2: which is what a backdoor pilot does. And sometimes baddoor
- 16:24Speaker 2: pilot's work and going to become whole shows.
- 16:26Speaker 1: And in this.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Case, No Family Matters was one of them.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah, Family Matters was a bad door pilot, wasn't it.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I forgot what the old the first show.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Was father the father from that Family Matters was on
- 16:39Speaker 3: or the mother one of the other was on an
- 16:41Speaker 3: old show. And then like they expanded her character and
- 16:45Speaker 3: like her backstory of her.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I want to say Perfect Strangers.
- 16:50Speaker 2: With I think it would because Perfect Strangers definitely has
- 16:53Speaker 2: a spin off off of it, but I'm not one
- 16:56Speaker 2: hundred percent sure.
- 16:57Speaker 4: I just remember seeing like a documentary.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I remember that.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I remember that recently too. I was like on the
- 17:03Speaker 2: Wikipedia or Center something. I was like, oh word, yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 2: and it led me down because I found like the
- 17:08Speaker 2: Backdoor Pilot Wikipedia, so it's all these different shows. I
- 17:11Speaker 2: was like, oh, I don't know, this was like from
- 17:13Speaker 2: that show, and this was from that show and yeah,
- 17:15Speaker 2: so yeah, but yeah, I know, I never.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Knew such a thing as this.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I knew the bad Yeah, definitely, it's
- 17:22Speaker 2: up there, so look it up. So yeah, well, I
- 17:24Speaker 2: mean now we've already said everything. So basically, at the
- 17:27Speaker 2: end of episode four, the lost sister returns and that
- 17:32Speaker 2: is the you know, mid moment and completely undispatted, and
- 17:38Speaker 2: so we'll see how it plays out in the end
- 17:40Speaker 2: of these next four episodes. Okay, yeah, I'm I was
- 17:44Speaker 2: definitely here for it. I can't lie and I'm hype,
- 17:47Speaker 2: you know, I can't wait Christmas Day and New Year's perfect,
- 17:50Speaker 2: let's go that ends. Yeah, the next three will drop
- 17:53Speaker 2: on Christmas Day and then the finale drops on.
- 17:55Speaker 3: New Year's Day, New Year's Eve eve. Wow, all day there. Well,
- 18:00Speaker 3: they're banking on people just being in the house.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and they will because they and people will be
- 18:03Speaker 2: in the house with their family to watch it.
- 18:05Speaker 1: So I like it. You know, it's great.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Do you think that you're still just as connected to
- 18:09Speaker 3: the cast of kids, considering they're not exactly kids And
- 18:12Speaker 3: I mean there's still kids, so they're still youth, Yes,
- 18:15Speaker 3: they're not ten or whatever.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Definitely I'm still connected. Like I really want to know
- 18:19Speaker 2: what's going to end up between Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve,
- 18:24Speaker 2: the love triangle.
- 18:25Speaker 1: That's going on right there.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I really hope that Nancy wises up and leaves both
- 18:30Speaker 2: of these bump ass dudes, because she is so much
- 18:32Speaker 2: better than both of them, and I really like how
- 18:35Speaker 2: they've made her character such a boss And I just
- 18:39Speaker 2: hope she, you know, bosses up completely and gets rid
- 18:42Speaker 2: of these bumps.
- 18:43Speaker 1: She needs neither of them.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I do remember that about Nancy, just she's one of
- 18:48Speaker 3: the stronger, smarter.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Real, and his unrequited love for Mike is also uh interesting.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I don't, I don't. I don't know if I want
- 19:01Speaker 2: to see Mike return his love as much as I
- 19:04Speaker 2: want to see Will, just like Nancy, boss up and
- 19:06Speaker 2: leave bumb ass might bind and realize that I find
- 19:09Speaker 2: better for himself. Yeah, you know that's you know, it's
- 19:11Speaker 2: your first brush.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I get it.
- 19:13Speaker 2: You know, you're you're still get in the closet at
- 19:15Speaker 2: this point, so you know that might you know, it
- 19:18Speaker 2: means everything to you.
- 19:18Speaker 1: But you can do better, bro, You know you can
- 19:20Speaker 1: and will do better.
- 19:22Speaker 2: You know, is Lucas Like a much has been made
- 19:26Speaker 2: about his terrible haircut. It's the first thing that needs
- 19:31Speaker 2: to be addressed, but it's also the probably the most realistic,
- 19:34Speaker 2: and that's what they're you know, the creator said, it
- 19:37Speaker 2: is a reflection of his state of mind and the
- 19:39Speaker 2: stress that.
- 19:40Speaker 4: He's in as a black character, him and his sister.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Anyway, Like, is there more going on with him this
- 19:48Speaker 3: season than previous seasons or it's kind of still just
- 19:52Speaker 3: like he's there because actually Caleb McLaughlin that that's the
- 19:56Speaker 3: actor that he's actually a really good actor. He really
- 20:00Speaker 3: I don't know, have you seen him. I think it
- 20:01Speaker 3: was Concrete Cowboys. He did that with it just Elba
- 20:03Speaker 3: and some other like he's.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Done some other stuff before. And I feel like they're not.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Giving him no roles, which is another reason why you
- 20:09Speaker 3: don't see him outside of Stranger Things too much.
- 20:11Speaker 4: But he's actually really good And I was just wondering,
- 20:15Speaker 4: like have they expanded him at all?
- 20:16Speaker 3: I mean, like again, they added his sister, But did
- 20:18Speaker 3: they really expand that at any point?
- 20:21Speaker 1: For strange of things, that was like one question.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Well, we've seen his family early on, and now we
- 20:29Speaker 2: haven't this this whole season, Like these four episodes, we
- 20:33Speaker 2: haven't seen his mom and dad. And being that Lucas
- 20:35Speaker 2: and Eric are out doing all kind of wildness over
- 20:38Speaker 2: these first four episodes, you would.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Think you do, but no you don't.
- 20:42Speaker 2: And Lucas get a little bit more to do in
- 20:44Speaker 2: this one, but I'm still waiting for him to have
- 20:47Speaker 2: his big moment, and I hope it comes in the ladder.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Out of the season. He has been you know, him
- 20:53Speaker 2: and Max's relationship I love and they're you know, it's
- 20:58Speaker 2: it's coming to a head. We'll see what happens to
- 21:00Speaker 2: them now. There is one I want to work out.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I want Lucas and Max to stay together.
- 21:05Speaker 1: You know.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I do believe they need to say together they're right
- 21:08Speaker 2: for each other. I just really love them together, you know.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And Lucas showing his love for Max is really endearing
- 21:16Speaker 2: and heartfelt to me. It's something that I really feel
- 21:19Speaker 2: about the whole. Max is just her character. I love
- 21:22Speaker 2: Max Man, and I'm I'm really worried about her, you know,
- 21:24Speaker 2: I really haven't. That's the one I'm really worried about.
- 21:27Speaker 2: And I want to see, you know, I want to
- 21:29Speaker 2: see things work out for her because things have been
- 21:31Speaker 2: terrible enough for her.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Read yes, you know my love for redhead.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I was gonna say, I I thought him. I said,
- 21:39Speaker 4: wait a minute, is this because of your crush of Redheads?
- 21:41Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 21:42Speaker 1: Look? You know, I can't lie.
- 21:44Speaker 2: But but also just her character, you know, because it's
- 21:47Speaker 2: her and her brother and you know, I mean it's
- 21:51Speaker 2: new to you, but RP. You know, her brother, you know,
- 21:54Speaker 2: just got in the last season and it's fucking terrible,
- 21:57Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Like I loved her brother
- 21:59Speaker 2: as well, not because he's not read it. I just
- 22:01Speaker 2: loved dude and he got got and it was terrible
- 22:05Speaker 2: and for MATTX to suffer through that, you know, and
- 22:08Speaker 2: she's already had a hard enough life and her brother
- 22:11Speaker 2: was like the one person who looked out for her,
- 22:13Speaker 2: you know, before Lucas. So it's like, yeah, no, I
- 22:15Speaker 2: really do want to see it work out for her
- 22:17Speaker 2: because you know, she's been through it.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Like season four was rough for Mags.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Liked damn one thing you also could say, like you're
- 22:27Speaker 3: trying to get people back into it. Just I'm saying,
- 22:29Speaker 3: why didn't you say Sarah Connor was in this later?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Because she talks about need to do more in these
- 22:34Speaker 2: first Jesus, they did not give my girl much to work.
- 22:39Speaker 4: With, Like they just use her by name alone.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yes, she was like, I.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Mean, she's the villain and she's just yeah limited, she's
- 22:45Speaker 2: just annoying. And it's like then the Hamilton annoying. It's
- 22:50Speaker 2: really like, you know, they it's not enough. I'm praying
- 22:54Speaker 2: that she did more to do in the last four
- 22:56Speaker 2: because right now it's just.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Like, oh, you're annoying, kind of like yeah, yeah.
- 23:02Speaker 2: You're just a name. You're just a name. Yeah, because no, yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 2: that's because you mentioned I forgot And the reason why
- 23:09Speaker 2: I forgot it because I did not care because this.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Is the only time she's ever been in the series.
- 23:12Speaker 3: So I was just like, oh shit, is that supposed
- 23:14Speaker 3: to be like a big deal.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:15Speaker 2: No, they're not giving her nothing to do nothing.
- 23:19Speaker 1: What's the point we had last things?
- 23:21Speaker 2: I mean speaking of nothing to do with the writer
- 23:23Speaker 2: for her whole existence on this show.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I mean, listen, I I like her to get her
- 23:31Speaker 3: check yeah. I liked her, but like now she's just
- 23:33Speaker 3: there for the.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the same thing, open to her job.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Where good you know, talking and talking out?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. And it's like and so is Hopper what
- 23:41Speaker 2: whatever do? Oh? Homeboy? Yeah?
- 23:45Speaker 4: I think I'm so older and I'm just like, yeah,
- 23:48Speaker 4: I think he's gonna die.
- 23:49Speaker 3: At that point, he's already been like, you know, bad
- 23:52Speaker 3: sand or whatever the stand of that, like fights niggas.
- 23:54Speaker 2: You remember, like, he's done so.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Much already and he has to come back to this.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I feel they like, yeah, gotta pick up a shift
- 24:02Speaker 3: at Walmart.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yeah, he picks it up. And the problem is they've
- 24:06Speaker 2: already faked death him before, so killing him would do nothing.
- 24:10Speaker 2: But I feel like they need to. They did say
- 24:13Speaker 2: that somebody is gonna, you know, catch a bad one
- 24:16Speaker 2: before the end of this season, so.
- 24:20Speaker 3: You gotta, I mean the last season, you gotta go
- 24:23Speaker 3: out with a bang. Somebody gotta gotta reach The only.
- 24:27Speaker 2: People who have died true deaths are people who are
- 24:30Speaker 2: not major characters.
- 24:32Speaker 4: That's gonna change.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Like Barbara, I think that was her name, Justice for Barbara,
- 24:36Speaker 2: wasn't it for the first season? Who they forgot all
- 24:38Speaker 2: Bob Shorty and then Max's brother and what's his name?
- 24:45Speaker 2: Winoda's first crush of Rudy. I mean, that's not his name,
- 24:48Speaker 2: but he died the death.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Yeah, hey man, take a pitch out of George r
- 24:53Speaker 3: and Martin books kill the one you like the most.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I don't think they're gonna do that, but
- 24:59Speaker 2: if my money's on anyone. And for a while I
- 25:02Speaker 2: thought Lucas was gonna catch a bad one, but now
- 25:04Speaker 2: like now him and Max are probably gonna make it out.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Steve bighead, Steve might be done and that'll but I
- 25:12Speaker 2: don't think Nancy deserves more. Nancy has already been through
- 25:15Speaker 2: ship this season, so like all the ship I mean
- 25:19Speaker 2: in this season, she's been through it, so I can't
- 25:21Speaker 2: see and she gotta make a choice, Like the choice
- 25:23Speaker 2: can't be made for her, like you know, one of
- 25:25Speaker 2: them can't be killed. And then she's like, oh, I leave,
- 25:27Speaker 2: you know, no, she gotta leave. So that leaves what's
- 25:31Speaker 2: the name without who you said the list? Henderson? He
- 25:35Speaker 2: might be dead. Yeah, that would way crush people, you
- 25:38Speaker 2: know what I mean? If the cute you know, chubby
- 25:40Speaker 2: kid gets murdered Henderson, that would hurt Oh yeah, that
- 25:44Speaker 2: would hurt, and it can't be Will or Mike.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Fuck.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I think I might've just done it because like, like
- 25:54Speaker 2: those people can't die because they have loved no, not
- 25:57Speaker 2: even the their main should have loved it, like Will
- 25:59Speaker 2: and Mike have just loved related.
- 26:00Speaker 5: You know.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Wouldn't that make it even the more?
- 26:02Speaker 2: Like Yeah, but that's ye, that's you know, you know,
- 26:04Speaker 2: one of has the cheat, you know, if one of
- 26:06Speaker 2: them dies and they don't have to choose, you know,
- 26:09Speaker 2: they gotta they gotta choose, Like Nancy needs to choose
- 26:11Speaker 2: between Jonathan and Steve and if one of them dies
- 26:15Speaker 2: and if she's forced that other one, or if one
- 26:16Speaker 2: of them dies and she just like in my grief,
- 26:19Speaker 2: I leave, that's still not you know, no, she needs
- 26:22Speaker 2: to be like, fuck.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Both of y'all.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Y'all both survived, and I don't want either of y'all,
- 26:26Speaker 2: you know, and Will needs to be like I don't
- 26:28Speaker 2: need Mike, you know, not that Mike dies or Will dies,
- 26:32Speaker 2: you know, And then it's so damn Henderson should have
- 26:36Speaker 2: got some buns.
- 26:43Speaker 4: And that's the end of my review. Just complete foolishness, bro.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I wanted to mention.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I mean, it's usually the virgin who survives in eighties joints.
- 26:56Speaker 2: That'd be a great flip though, And okay, one last
- 27:00Speaker 2: shout out because it is another flip that I love. No,
- 27:03Speaker 2: you need to catch up just to watch Dastardly a
- 27:08Speaker 2: ka Delightful Derek.
- 27:10Speaker 4: What the fuck is that?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Eric was great?
- 27:15Speaker 2: In this season they introduced Dastardly Derek, who is a
- 27:19Speaker 2: new character. Who is this chubby little kid who is
- 27:23Speaker 2: a fucking bully and when that's why I loved it
- 27:27Speaker 2: for the flip, because normally this kid looks like a
- 27:32Speaker 2: Christmas story, you know, the little boy from a Christmas story,
- 27:34Speaker 2: even more chubby, like glasses, you know, blonde hair, terrible haircut,
- 27:39Speaker 2: chubby is all hell and normally in you know, the
- 27:41Speaker 2: eighties movies, he's getting bullied. No, Dastardly Derek tells you
- 27:46Speaker 2: to suck a fat one, pushes a kid much taller
- 27:49Speaker 2: than him out of his way, and it's a general
- 27:52Speaker 2: bastard until you know halfway through he turns around and
- 27:56Speaker 2: joins the family and becomes delightful Derek and is awesome
- 28:01Speaker 2: and everyone is loving him and giving this kid in
- 28:04Speaker 2: the after his props. So I wanted to take a
- 28:06Speaker 2: second because I loved him as Dastardly and I love
- 28:09Speaker 2: him even more as delightful, Like he's just amazing. The
- 28:13Speaker 2: actor is great, and I just love the flip of
- 28:15Speaker 2: allowing the chubby, you know kid to beat the bully
- 28:19Speaker 2: and not be bullied on.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Yeah, that's always cool.
- 28:22Speaker 1: It's great Dastly there.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Yeah, the titles are hilarious.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, because that.
- 28:27Speaker 2: He's called dastily and then later on he's like, no,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you're delightful, Derek, and Erica has a moment in this
- 28:33Speaker 2: season that's uh, you know again, I'm not spoiling for you.
- 28:36Speaker 1: It's just well worth it, like you should. I can't.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Like, if you got all through three, you should definitely
- 28:41Speaker 2: watch four because four is fired and then five it's
- 28:44Speaker 2: like it's it's.
- 28:45Speaker 4: You know, mostly Yeah, thank you for that. I appreciate it.
- 28:50Speaker 3: It's good to like, at least get some ketchup on it. Yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 3: and why is it even worth getting back on? Because
- 28:56Speaker 3: I know I'm not the only one that's like that,
- 28:57Speaker 3: like why get back?
- 28:58Speaker 1: But it almost was I was same.
- 29:00Speaker 2: I you know, it was like my gonna watch this
- 29:02Speaker 2: and I started and I said, damn, this shit's pretty good,
- 29:05Speaker 2: all right, you know, let's drop.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't want to make mention that Sinners the
- 29:11Speaker 3: best film of twenty twenty five.
- 29:13Speaker 4: I still believe that to be the case. Is actually,
- 29:16Speaker 4: what does it say?
- 29:17Speaker 3: The third four time is coming back for one week
- 29:19Speaker 3: to Imax seventy millimeter. They say start in December twelfth,
- 29:23Speaker 3: but certain theaters will start.
- 29:25Speaker 4: It on the eleventh. Wow, I'm fairly certain New York
- 29:29Speaker 4: Lincoln Square will be the one that starts on the eleven.
- 29:32Speaker 4: I might have to see that joint again for the
- 29:34Speaker 4: fifth time.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I might have to go.
- 29:36Speaker 4: It's the same theater again again. We could we even
- 29:40Speaker 4: we saw this? Did we see a screening?
- 29:42Speaker 3: We saw screening, the screening and Lincoln Center. Then I
- 29:46Speaker 3: saw that twice. Yeah, I went back my own cash money.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Yeah at Lincoln Center.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I did.
- 29:52Speaker 3: And I'm gonna have to see it because that forma
- 29:55Speaker 3: and and and every time. I was like on the
- 29:57Speaker 3: edges because I just got lucky. That was the only
- 30:00Speaker 3: see I could get. But I said it, I don't care,
- 30:02Speaker 3: and it was still magical.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I got a middle joint. Oh, yeah's pretty crazy.
- 30:09Speaker 3: The only time he was in the middle for me
- 30:10Speaker 3: was at the screening because I come on godly early,
- 30:13Speaker 3: so yeah, yeah, now, but I'm really excited for that
- 30:17Speaker 3: again again. And I've been telling people like, if you
- 30:20Speaker 3: haven't seen it yet, like this is the format to sea,
- 30:22Speaker 3: then I'm act seventy millimeter that is, and I know
- 30:25Speaker 3: it's not easy for everybody, but because there's not that
- 30:28Speaker 3: many in the country is which is another choice, but uh,
- 30:32Speaker 3: Lincoln Square, La Several in Cali, Irvine, San fran Indianapolis, Arizona, Florida, Dallas, uh, Ontario,
- 30:47Speaker 3: and I'm acted in London, So I mean now, I
- 30:52Speaker 3: mean well, I mean not to say like Dallas around
- 30:53Speaker 3: the corner.
- 30:54Speaker 2: No it's not it's not a flight, but it's not.
- 30:58Speaker 4: But uh, you know you well listen, you live, you
- 31:03Speaker 4: live here in New York, so yeah, sound good, You'll
- 31:05Speaker 4: be all right. But I just wanted to make sure
- 31:06Speaker 4: I met because again, just just phenomenal, still phenomenal, still incredible,
- 31:10Speaker 4: still amazing. Shout out to Ryan Coogler.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Definitely my film of the year as well, up there
- 31:15Speaker 2: with Good News, which is my those are my top
- 31:18Speaker 2: two films of the year, and Centers I've seen multiple times.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I don't only watch Good News once so far, so
- 31:24Speaker 2: Centers are still the top for me.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and and also just again I just it's passed now,
- 31:30Speaker 3: but happily heavenly birthday to Dick King forever.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Chadwick Bozeman.
- 31:36Speaker 3: He also recently got his star on the Hollywood Walk
- 31:39Speaker 3: of Fame. I don't know if you saw the ceremony
- 31:42Speaker 3: for that, but it was you know when I posted
- 31:44Speaker 3: it and I said, I'm not crying, You're crying because
- 31:46Speaker 3: like his wife was there, you know, family member was there,
- 31:50Speaker 3: Viola Davis was there, Michael B.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Jordan was there, like like.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Just it was just this one scene where they were
- 31:57Speaker 3: like dedicating it and like his wife put his shoes
- 32:00Speaker 3: down right at the star and like that was that
- 32:03Speaker 3: got me right, Like and you know she was just
- 32:05Speaker 3: positioning it just right and then backed up just so
- 32:07Speaker 3: it could have at the moment right And then even
- 32:10Speaker 3: like it was.
- 32:10Speaker 4: His wife, Michael B. Jordan, I think like a cousin
- 32:14Speaker 4: or brother or something like that.
- 32:14Speaker 3: They were there and like kneeling in a row in
- 32:17Speaker 3: front of the star, and you could visibly see Michael
- 32:20Speaker 3: could not keep it together, like he had his head down.
- 32:22Speaker 3: He was it was it was hard right just to
- 32:26Speaker 3: even watch from a third person perspective, right, And it
- 32:29Speaker 3: just also just gave me just frame or reference again
- 32:31Speaker 3: about like when things are awarded posthumously and like it's
- 32:35Speaker 3: like it's a celebration, but it also digs up so
- 32:38Speaker 3: much emotion from the people who were closest to those people, right,
- 32:42Speaker 3: because it's just like, yeah, you accept this is supposed
- 32:43Speaker 3: to be a happy moment, but it's also like it
- 32:45Speaker 3: reminds you of everything about that person and what made
- 32:47Speaker 3: them so great and just whatever it was, right, Like
- 32:51Speaker 3: just that deep seated reminder. It's supposed to bring joy,
- 32:54Speaker 3: but it's also can be very painful. So it just
- 32:57Speaker 3: makes me think about stuff like that.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely, you know, with Chadwick, say, I knew Chadwick
- 33:05Speaker 2: from Howard. I didn't know him as well as I
- 33:08Speaker 2: would have liked. He was definitely very close to super
- 33:11Speaker 2: good friends of mine like Tanahase, my girl of Dawn,
- 33:15Speaker 2: my girl Camella. He's super you know tight with them,
- 33:20Speaker 2: my boy Greg, and so through them I knew him
- 33:26Speaker 2: and just you know, knew him around Howard and we
- 33:28Speaker 2: would always see each other, you know, add Howard and
- 33:31Speaker 2: speak and say what up. And then afterwards, whenever we
- 33:35Speaker 2: saw each other, you know that thing. And when you
- 33:37Speaker 2: know someone from Howard and if you didn't know them
- 33:39Speaker 2: that well, when you see them out of the public,
- 33:40Speaker 2: you're like, oh yeah. And so I remember the first
- 33:44Speaker 2: time I saw him again was at the Black Panther Joint.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I remember him and Fay he were talking and he
- 33:51Speaker 2: just turns around and just starts smiling. I'm like, you know,
- 33:53Speaker 2: he's talking to Fade and then he grabs me up
- 33:56Speaker 2: and it is you know, yo, you know, and just
- 34:00Speaker 2: he in Angelabasset.
- 34:02Speaker 4: That day, and that's just crazy.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, And it was just you know, he was just Chadwick.
- 34:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I remember him from Howard when he was protesting because
- 34:14Speaker 2: and it's so crazy, no, yeah, no, he was protesting
- 34:18Speaker 2: on the yard for because this is during my time
- 34:21Speaker 2: at Howard, because it's very crazy with how things come
- 34:25Speaker 2: full circle. At the time, they were trying to absorb
- 34:28Speaker 2: the School of Fine Arts into the School of Arts
- 34:31Speaker 2: and Sciences, they weren't trying to keep it separate. And
- 34:34Speaker 2: so he was protesting out on the yard about that,
- 34:38Speaker 2: and I was like, yo, this dude is wild, you know,
- 34:40Speaker 2: because he had this whole theatrical protest that he did
- 34:43Speaker 2: on the yard and I was like my boy going
- 34:45Speaker 2: in for it. And now full circle for the School
- 34:48Speaker 2: of Fine Arts to be the Chadwick Bozeman School of
- 34:51Speaker 2: Fine Arts is you know, really crazy to me. So,
- 34:55Speaker 2: you know, shout out to him. Shout out to everybody
- 34:59Speaker 2: you know from how my fam who you know knew
- 35:02Speaker 2: him well. Shout out to Tannahossee because I was at
- 35:05Speaker 2: Tanna Hasee's fiftieth birthday party recently and that's when I
- 35:10Speaker 2: met Roy Wood Junior, who you know, was on our
- 35:13Speaker 2: recent episode. So shout out to Tannahassee for connecting me
- 35:17Speaker 2: with Roy and you know, for just being the person
- 35:19Speaker 2: that he's always been. Like all these people at However, man,
- 35:22Speaker 2: it was it's so interesting to me to see how
- 35:26Speaker 2: we've all coming and drawn in different places and how
- 35:30Speaker 2: a lot of them I knew, like Tasee, I knew
- 35:34Speaker 2: extremely well, and he's still the same brother that I
- 35:37Speaker 2: knew back then, but you know, he's just this now
- 35:41Speaker 2: the whole world knows him. Yeah. Yeah, and it's you know,
- 35:45Speaker 2: really interesting and really beautiful to see. So congratulations to Chadwick,
- 35:50Speaker 2: Thank you for everything you did. You know, Blessings to
- 35:54Speaker 2: you to your family, your friends and yeah, yeah, man, yeah,
- 35:59Speaker 2: I posted that picture you know when you when we
- 36:01Speaker 2: were at the twelve sixteen Bridges, twelve Bridges, twelve twenty
- 36:05Speaker 2: one Bridges, Anyone Bridges premiere, right, and we were all
- 36:08Speaker 2: talking and yeah, somebody was like what the hell, you know,
- 36:11Speaker 2: cause they'd never seen the picture before, and I was like, yeah, man,
- 36:13Speaker 2: that was my dude. Like, you know, whenever I saw him,
- 36:16Speaker 2: we would just be like oh you know, so yeah.
- 36:19Speaker 3: And I and again not ever meeting him before in
- 36:23Speaker 3: life ever, just the warmer breaks, you know, especially I
- 36:26Speaker 3: was like, yeah, you know, I'm a Bison too, you know,
- 36:28Speaker 3: like immediate like love.
- 36:30Speaker 1: So yeah, Bradford shout out to Bradford.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Young, you know, like mm hmm, what's up, Brad. That's
- 36:36Speaker 2: my brother, Like Bradford is my brother, and you know, yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 2: I just know it.
- 36:42Speaker 1: You know, we all feel it. We all feel.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Yeah, but we feel the loss.
- 36:46Speaker 3: But you know we also, as mentioned, we have to
- 36:48Speaker 3: we have to celebrate the joy, right. We got to
- 36:50Speaker 3: celebrate the legacy because the legacy is living forever, right,
- 36:53Speaker 3: So I think that's like the most important thing. I mean,
- 36:56Speaker 3: it looks forever at Howard Chabrick Boseman School, for five hours.
- 36:59Speaker 3: But I ate the same school he fought for.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Ye when I was there at homecoming, I stopped to
- 37:05Speaker 2: make sure I took a picture of it, and I
- 37:07Speaker 2: was sitting there laughing at that for myself, I look
- 37:09Speaker 2: at you, nigga like nigga, like I remember, Like I'm
- 37:13Speaker 2: standing in the spot pretty much where I watched you
- 37:17Speaker 2: storm out of the front doors of the Fight Arts
- 37:21Speaker 2: and walk onto the yard and do this wild ass
- 37:24Speaker 2: protest where you were screaming about how you know the
- 37:27Speaker 2: Schruel Fight Arts should never die And here it is
- 37:31Speaker 2: with your fucking name on it.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Yeah, man, chap Wick forever.
